And if this podcast lasts longer than 20 minutes, call your doctor. Acast helps creators launch, grow and monetize their podcasts everywhere. Acast.com this episode is sponsored by Bondwell Bistro Bowls. Life is busy right now. As a podcaster who works from home and a mom to Charlie, my days are non stop recording episodes, prepping for the show, answering emails and chasing after a baby. So when lunchtime rolls around, I need something easy and convenient that I can grab quickly and still enjoy. Honestly, most days I have like less than 25 minutes for the entire lunch process, deciding what to eat, making it and actually sitting down before jumping back into work. Every day of the week looks different. Some days I'm recording podcasts and other days I'm working while watching Charlie. And on the weekends I'm just craving something different. But what's consistent is having a lunch that gives me a moment to reset and fuel for the rest of the day. That's why I've been loving Bondwell Bistro Bowls. They are delicious. They're ready made salads that are such an easy meal solution. They come with a fork which is perfect when I'm eating at my desk between recordings. They are protein packed, they're made with fresh ingredients and they are full of craveable dressings and toppings. Plus there's a wide variety of delicious plant rich bowls. Oh, we love a Friday Pod.
A
Love a Friday Pod. I do feel like during the week the Friday Pods have seeped into Wednesdays or Tuesdays, sometimes Mondays, Thursdays. But I think it's worth it. It's called growth.
B
And my friend, you have a huge weekend. Tell us where you're going.
A
By the time you guys listen to this, I will be at Coachella. I'm very excited for this. This is like my favorite time of year. I go every year. I said I think this might be my last year. I do say that every year, but I, I am feeling it this year. I'm feeling that this could be my last year. So I'm going all out for it.
B
I also feel feel like you could maybe not go next year and then you can go to the next year. You know, you can take breaks. It doesn't have to be like consecutive.
A
Of course, of course. It's not that I'M like, oh, oh, I can't do it. It's the FOMO of like, well, this band I would never see in real life is going to be there. And then I get like, oh, it's like, oh, the desert. Oh, the polo field. Oh, the Sahara. Oh, the main stage. Like, you're excited.
B
You probably won't sleep well in the night.
A
I probably won't sleep all night. You're right. Just saying. Get me to those polo fields.
B
I couldn't get you to Coachella any faster.
A
Mary said, I like the vacation time, too. If you're in God, so am I.
B
I was like, so, like, when else can you take a trip?
A
Okay. Before I whisk myself off to vacation, though, we have to chat. Beverly Hills. I wanted talk a little west side Story. I did see this clip of Carl at a Q and A for his book. Did you see the clip? I did.
B
I think Carl's an empath and we've
A
got to stop throwing that word around. I think we can have empathy. I don't know that we're all empaths. Craig, Carl, Kristen, Doty.
B
I think Carl might truly be one, to be honest, but he's like, it's been really challenging, obviously. I've talked to Sierra. I've talked to Kyle.
A
He's talked to Amanda. He's texted with Amanda.
B
It's just been a hard time for the group and it's sad at the end of the day.
A
No mention of West. I feel like there could be hope for some relationships with Amanda. I don't know up to the level of closeness that there has been before, but she's obviously been there for a lot of this group since season one. I say in seasons from the show but in their lives for almost a decade or so. And I just thought, no mention of Wes. He definitely out. I think that they will all push to make sure he doesn't return for next season. I was reading into this completely, obviously, just based on vibes and no evidence. He's reposting people's stories of him being out and I know that they have to live their lives. I've been saying this the whole time, but I'm like, has he reached the point, though, where he just doesn't give a.
B
I don't think it's that he doesn't give a fuck, but he's trying to do business as usual. He's trying to probably move the story along faster because he would like to resume his normal life and make this go away. Yeah, it's not going away.
A
I know. That's like, the crazy part is, as we talked about it yesterday was like, okay, let's think about the fact that, like, business as usual. He still has all these other deals that are going on. He's living his life and. But it's not gonna die because then the reunion's gonna film, then it's gonna be the season finale, Then it's going to be the reunion actually airs. Then it's going to be in the city where we get a little clip. The conversation is going to keep going even when he's not on in the city, because we're going to be looking for clues with Amanda and Kyle and their separation and seeing if there's anything there. And then it's summer, so if he's going to come back to Summer House, it's just.
B
And he is going to be on in the city. We see the Mandy moment. Is that going to be them just, like meeting up for something really short and sweet, but they're going to definitely show that because it's going to pull the audience, even if it's a nothing thing.
A
Well, that's why I think they included in the trailer, though, Zach, that was a reworked trailer for it. Jump on the hype right now. God, I would love to know the behind the scenes. I would love to know. And Carl also said he's not really a mess. He said Kyle did say, sorry about that, bro. But he said, you know, the group is fractured right now, and it's a tough situation. And I think when Paige and Hannah had commented on it last week, too, these are people's real. We see them on a television show. We think we know them based on the personality we see on TV and social media and whatnot, but we don't,
B
as you said last week, we don't know anybody anymore.
A
Okay. One of my predictions this year, by the way, this is a rumor. And one of my predictions I think is gonna happen because I said Robin would be returning to Real Housewives of Potomac. I think all of my Potomac predictions are going to be coming true. Mary.
B
Ooh. So, yeah, there are rumblings that Robyn will be a friend of which feels right. It feels organic. It feels natural. I'm okay with it.
A
Can I tell you my predictions?
B
Yes.
A
Okay. Mine was Karen returns full time. Sounds like that's happening. Obviously, I said Kiarna and Angel will be gone. Seems like that's happening, too. And I said Robin comes back, and now this hasn't happened yet, but Wendy gets off on a technicality.
B
A lot of those seem Real and that they could happen. Mine for patobic are Candace would return, that Karen would go on Dancing with the Stars, and that Stacy starts selling blank. We don't know. Start selling something.
A
Sunshine. Not selling sunfat. She's selling sunshine. Carry on. Dancing with the Stars as like the Anna Delvey.
B
Yes,
A
it's Friday. Okay. Bethany stuck her foot in her mouth again where she felt the need to talk about this because she's seemingly, like, going on the rounds for this skin care thing. But she comments that, like, you know, nobody was married in the Kyle and Amanda and Wes and Sierra of it all. And it's like, technically they actually were.
B
I don't even care about that comment. But her Ramona and Sonia are promoting Roc Skincare. And the amount of things that Bethany has made Sonia and Ramona do for her TikTok is actually insane. I cannot stand this woman. I really need to boycott her. She really, like, gets under my skin. Everything she does is for a reaction. Exactly like that comment she said. And she commented on the summer house thing. She's never even watched the show. Why would you comment on something that you know not nothing about? I'm just sick of her chicken salad and her snacks that are real meals. I'm just sick of her.
A
Yeah, her content has really turned just into rage bait content. Everything she does, like you said, is for a reaction. She wants people to get upset. She wants to be polarizing.
B
Yes. She's a narcissist.
A
She is. And it's.
B
She's. Hoppy was on to something.
A
Stop it. And so I just find it funny with her, too, is that she's, like, so, so above Rooney and so above the golden life, and yet she still has to use Ramona and Sonia as props to sell whatever it is she wants to sell. Because she's probably thinking, I'm too good to do the show, but I'm also not above using them to sell whatever I need to sell.
B
Well, it's like they're all promoting this product. They're all in on it. They're all getting paid to promote this product.
A
So why is Bethany involved in this with Ramona and Sonia, of all people?
B
This was a campaign they're doing together. It's not just Bethany by herself. They're all getting paid to do this campaign. And I think it's really funny that she will do this campaign with them but won't come back to reality tv, but is, like, loving this moment with them. It's weird.
A
A year ago, she would have never signed onto this campaign. With the two of them, but because they're back in the spotlight now, she's taking advantage of it and acting like she's too good. And I'm like, I think she was offered that job. I don't think she said no necessarily. I also think that they probably were like, you guys are all going to get paid this, like non negotiable or everybody's getting paid the same. And she was like, but I'd be the star.
B
Right? She probably didn't like the price that was given. And so she didn't commit to it. Also, she doesn't have to. She has so much money.
A
It's notoriety for Bethany, but she is money hungry.
B
I even like her Architectural Digest thing. You know, she got massacred in the comments because everyone was like, this is like an IKEA home, basically. And she's like, well, the reason why I create my homes like this is because I want someone else to come in and buy it. I've made so much on real estate. She is money hungry. She posted something the other day saying how, like, I don't do things for free. Oh, no.
A
Everything has a price for her. But I think it's more also that she wants to be in the spotlight and she wants to do all the. So, like, if the golden life, if that is successful, like, watch her show up for season 2.
B
I agree with you. That could be a prediction of yours. Erewhon. She ate their chicken salad and was like, they wanted to do a collab with me, but I wasn't gonna get paid for it. So I didn't do it. And I'm like, that shows your true character.
A
Well, no, I also think, though, for a collab, you should get paid for it. But sure, it's just. It's. But she's just.
B
She's annoying.
A
She's just eating crackers. She's your bitch eating chicken salad.
B
We need to start saying that. A bitch eating chicken salad. Okay.
A
Still be back. It's still back, but it's bitch eating chicken salad.
B
I love that.
A
Oh, my God.
B
Okay. Speaking of Roni, so they're filming the new season and it dropped a few days ago, but Sai is getting a divorce. And the thing that makes me want to talk about it is because nobody's talking about it because I'm worried of this season. Nobody even cares that they're filming. She's getting a divorce. That would. If this was in any other franchise, this would be huge news. It would be breaking news. People don't care. Which that makes me worried to be Fair.
A
Again, this dropped during west side Story. I didn't even share it as a post. I shared it as a story because I was like, does anybody care? And we don't know him that well. He appeared in, like, a couple of scenes. And we're not invested in these Roni women, sadly. Maybe the season will be different. Who knows? I was like, oh, that's a really big bummer for them. I'm sorry that she's going through a divorce. I don't care. And that's so mean to say, but I'm just like, okay, I agree with you, Courtney.
B
I'm worried about them. Maybe we'll be wrong. Maybe we'll be wrong. We were wrong about the Valley.
A
I know. I know. And not all shows need to continue. I know Bravo put a lot of money behind the Roni reboot, and they really want that to be successful, but at the same time, I don't need to be invested in them. They need to have something really happen if I have to have another season of pranks.
B
Yeah, yeah, we'll. We'll see what happens. It's. It's gonna be okay.
A
I wonder, too, if Aaron would have joined in the city because Lindsay Hubbard's trying to figure out what's her next step. What's her next step? And it seemed like they were pushing to get her on the Roni reboot, and then obviously she got in the city. And I wonder at that point, too, if Aaron's like, can I abandon ship on Roni?
B
I also wonder if Lindsay could have helped Roni, though. I. I really like Lindsay, and I am a little bit nervous that she's going to be kind of over producing and, like, showing these people how reality TV works and look at how good Rhode island is, because they don't know how reality TV works. Like, you don't want an expert when you have a freshman class. Do you see what I'm saying?
A
Yes and no, though, because think about the Valley. You had Kristen, you had Jax, you had Brittany, who were desperate enough to put their lives out there and share everything, unburdened from shackles of shame. So you have Lindsay, who's going to do every. Everything. Danielle's coming back. We already know she's going to be, like, wanting to be in the spotlight. There you have Kyle and Amanda. Kyle, who's trying to, like, save his career, not realizing he's got to be also saving his marriage. And that's the whole thing. Maybe the storyline is because, you know, somebody says that about Lindsay of, like. Like, I'M getting over her. It's like maybe that is the storyline of it. She is trying to overproduce, and that actually becomes its own storyline. Very meta of breaking the fourth wall. And I know Gavin. I already know he's a star.
B
Right. I. I guess I'm just scared because of the way Summer House has been this season with her on it, and I don't think it's made sense.
A
Oh, don't be fears. Don't be scared. We're going. We are going in glass half full.
B
I. I am a glass half full person.
A
It's gonna be great. I feel like the drama that we're getting from the other people, I mean, we got Andrea back in his underwear. Mary, how do you think it's not gonna be good? Just.
B
I know.
A
Give me 30 minutes of that a week.
B
It's hard for me to warm up to new people, but once I do, I'll be all in. It'll be fine.
A
I think you're gonna be okay. Okay.
B
Okay.
A
Let's. Let's take a break, let's recoup, and then let's come back and talk some reunion looks for Beverly Hills.

A
Okay. Jennifer Tilly by a mile. She's in a custom bal mane of her face. That is her on her dress. Custom bomb. The other women could never.
B
No, I love Jennifer Tilly. I actually feel like she might be great holding a diamond next season, but
A
I don't want to lose her whimsy.
B
No. But I think getting a deeper look inside of her now that she's more comfortable with the cameras would be a benefit for everyone. And also, this show needs to be saved. It is so bad. My theory is that in Italy they were like, kyle, this is your fucking show. You better do something because this season is shit. You better save it. You might have to ditch dorit in the process, but get on it, honey. And then Kyle's like the show. Oh, no. Okay, Sutton and Erica, come join the army. I need you to do my dirty work. And that's this episode.
A
Here's a uniform. So you look good.
B
We will get there. I can't wait to talk about it. But let's keep on going on the reunion looks.
A
I also wanted to say too, is we thought that the reunion set would be Italian themed, but it's Beverly Hills. They're going back to the roots. It is rodeo themed. Rodeo drive.
B
They definitely were trying to bring back, like, the glitz and the glamour and the riches of these women this season. Kind of going back to the roots, I think. So my personal favorites here are bows. I think she looks stunning.
A
Oh, God, I hate her dress. Really?
B
And I like Erica's. Kyle's is by far the worst. It's that Tamara judge confessional look. What was she thinking here? It's so bad. It's a black collar, white dress. Is it a two piece?
A
It's cut in the back and so it has like side cuts at cutouts. It's terrible. Kyle has the worst fashion. She nev give me one reunion look that she's slayed. And I'm sure there's one.
B
You know what? It's. It's the one where she's wearing that, like, lime green with her hair. It looks like very 80s.
A
We need to see that. So overall, for me, looking at this group, I thought, another housewifeism. Money can't buy your class. I overall, as a theme, I do not like this Sutton's dress I actually really like, and I enjoy her deep part, but the color is off. Erica. I like it, but it's going again. This Morticia look. Morticia Adams.
B
So I. I like Erica's. It kind of is giving me, like, a Paige to Sorbo would wear this. I feel like Paige started the whole, like, kind of not wearing pants, and to me, she's not wearing pants even though it's a dress.
A
I think baby started that. Baby spice children, babies.
B
I'm like, baby spice children. Okay. Oh, God.
A
Okay. Moving on to Amanda. What the. What the. Did you find some tool and hot glue? Gun it. What? What is this?
B
It's not good. It's not. Also, it's almost like her and Kyle are wearing the same white. They just accessorized it differently. Kyle on that black collar. And then she attached a loofah to her.
A
It was one of her children's birthdays the other week, and she said, wait, I could use this again for the wrapping. It's terrible. Jennifer. 100 out of 10. 100 out of 10. This is easily one of the best.
B
Let's talk about Rachel Zo's.
A
Okay.
B
Rachel Zo has one look. Yeah, she honestly has one look. Her hair, I think, is a bit too long. I know it's her, like, 70s fashion, but she honestly. She just wears the same thing.
A
What do her legs look like?
B
Yeah, she's always fully covered. She's always covering her body. It's fine.
A
I'm gonna change my opinion on bows because.
B
Oh, I really like Boses.
A
This grouping, it's. It's one of the better ones. Kathy.
B
It's very Patricia.
A
Yeah, exactly like the matriarch of the group. She was rocking that Dorit.
B
I love it. Yeah, it's nice.
A
I guess at the end of the day is like that special outside of Jennifer's. And then I'll. I'll give it to Bose. I'm. I'm changing my opinion in real time. So Jennifer and Bose for me, and then Dorit and Erica and then the rest. I mean, Sutton really has changed her fashion, so I feel like I do have to give her a point.
B
She's transitioned for mother of the bride to now just.
A
She wants to be mother. It's fine. I need to see how they'll sit. But Jennifer is just overall, the best look for me, and I would love for her to have a diamond if we can preserve her as is.
B
Do you think she will sit on the couch the entire time?
A
Oh, that's a great question. I'm going to say yes. Natalie didn't even make the cut.
B
Okay, well, let's give her a freaking tagline then.
A
Okay, I, I'm here for it. I just, I, I, I love her so much and I would hate for this show to do anything to her because I want her next season jumping in pools.
B
The reason why I don't think she will change is because she already has the fame and she already has the money. She's an Oscar nominated actress. So being on this show doesn't change any part of her life.
A
It's not her changing, it's the woman coming after her because now she's for grabs in a way. And it's like, do not come for Jennifer Tilly where she has to defend herself. Like, I want her to be rich. I want her to be silly. I want to see what purse she's going to bring that matches her outfit. Like, I want everything from Jennifer and I don't want her to be storylines where it's like, well, let's take Jennifer down this season because Kyle needs a target now.
B
Do you think Kyle could give her a uniform and would she accept the uniform?
A
I don't think she would accept the uniform because it's not going to be designer.
B
No, she wouldn't accept the uniform and no, I think it's because she kind of is the voice of reason within this cast and she doesn't want to like bring up the drama. She wants everyone to get along. She wants to have a cocktail, she wants to party, she wants to jump in pools. She doesn't need to wear the uniform because she knows who she is for Kyle. She just needs to be the queen bee and, and the only thing she has is this show. She's an empty nester. She doesn't have a husband anymore.
A
Only separated. Mary. Not divorced. Not divorced. Just wanting to remind you guys, you guys are divorced. I'm just separated.
B
I just don't understand why she stays. Like, what's her obsession?
A
I think it's the fame of it all. I realistically, in all of Housewives who has left, less than five people have left on their own.
B
Tinsley.
A
Tinsley. Bethany had left Lydia the first time, got fired the second time. Candy, technically, but I don't think she was going to be asked back. Think about it too though. It's steady income. You get brand deals. Like, you really decide if there's one more pro than there is con, it's worth it.
B
Yes and no. I honestly, like, this season is so bad and it's because of Kyle. I'm blaming Kyle for it.
A
I am. Okay.
B
Like, this episode, particularly, I was like, this is legitimately crazy. I feel like I am watching a scripted show at this point. It was horrible, I would say, and I want to talk about it.
A
I was thinking, though, when you brought up Jennifer Tilly and, like, not wanting to be in the drama, and I thought, oh, but remember that drama with her and Sutton? Laughs Season. That was this season that we were in Sedona. That was this season. It's been so long. I thought it was last season. Like, I can't believe that we're still here. And you even asked me because I had watched this before. You're like, oh, my God, it's season finale. I said, no, it's not. I don't even know that next week was the season finale.
B
But okay, so first, like, Sutton and Kyle are sitting at that table together. And honestly, Sutton was giving her lines, was like, so she's here. Like, what are you gonna do now? I'm like, what is going on? This crazy. This is not a friendship. They're literally, like, plotting against Dorit and trying to, like, lay us up for this situation. This is weird.
A
It was so strange. First off, I hated Sutton's tights in this. I was like, we can't be wearing these tights with this dress. I know. We're just experimenting with our fashion. This was a don't for me. But when they were sitting at that table and then Kyle goes into the confessional, and she's like, it really is a friendship breakup. I'm like, no, it's not. You fudgeing. Hate Dorit. You have hated Dory for years. This is sad to you, all of a sudden? No, it's not. You do not care about her.
B
Once again, the acting.
A
She.
B
At first, she's like, I'm so angry. I'm so frustrated. She's like, oh, man, I need to stop being angry. And now I'm sad.
A
This is sad.
B
And she has fake tears coming out of her eyes. It was nuts.
A
I. I also was like, what are you gonna do in a normal person's world? Nothing. But because the producers yelled at them and said, you better create some drama here. And then when the first time, when they all talk, it didn't go the way that Sutton and Kyle wanted it. So then Sutton had to do it again and pull Dorit from talking where her friend. Where Dorit goes you again. Basically, that. I was like, production is so mad at them.
B
Kyle multiple times in this episode was like, no, no, no. I Have to save this. I'm saving this. Like, Sutton, no, we are going inside right now because you have to do the work. Okay? And then Kathy, like, following her, I'm
A
like, what is happening? When Sutton was like, like, I'm gonna leave. And Kyle's like, what? Like, we haven't even danced. I was like, this is insane. Like, at this point, I know Kyle has the numbers. And that's why she has, like, also this, like, unbridled confidence too, because she's like, I do have them. And the Zara uniforms are in the car. I gotta collab. Sutton. Yeah, the job's not complete yet because they bring everybody over.
B
Sutton's basically like, so are you going to talk to Kyle tonight? I think that you should apologize for her for not talking to her this week. And Dorit is like, what the fuck? She didn't even call me. It's not like I'm ignoring her. We're not talking right now. Why wouldn't I apologize to her for not talking to her? She hasn't reached out to me. Do you know what I've gone through this week? Phoenix is having a horrible time. She hasn't been to school in five years. She's having anxiety. I don't want to talk about this tonight. Rachel is my friend that I want to actually be friends with, not you guys. And I just want to dance and have my cocktails. Belvedere, three lemons, carcass out. Leave me alone.
A
Yes. And what I also love, too, is when Sutton said that to Dre, she goes, well, I love that you have an opinion. I'm not gonna do that. She shut her down and then Dorit. It must piss Kyle off how much of an alliance there is between Dorit and Rachel, because Rachel coming over to Sutton and Dorit being like, so what's going on? Why do I feel like I need to save Dorit right here? Let's go get a drink. Let's get some alcohol. Let's go to the dance floor. And Sutton just being like, oh, my God, like, am I just getting, like, shut down? This is such mean girl behavior of Dorit. She's all about her herself. You don't care, Sutton.
B
The way that she was trying to make that a really big deal when nothing happened. She's like, I am leaving right now. Did you hear how condescending she was? I'm not gonna pretend and sit here and pretend to have fun with these people. They aren't my real friends. And then Kyle's like, no, but you have to stay like, yeah, we. You have to try again.
A
Filming ends at 10:30. It's only 8, so get your ass inside and let's come up with plan B. Okay. Because that didn't work and she shut it down. Now, I do think that Duri is being condescending, but because she has to, she is in defense mode because she knows this is the party. They're all coming after me, and I'm just gonna shut it down because Rachel Zoe and Bozema St. John are my best friends and they're better than all of you.
B
It's. It's so true. And then, like, Sutton was trying to spin it too. She was like, I mean, I have a lot going on too. Like, I'm an empty nester now and like, I'm all alone. And she hasn't asked me anything about that, which I will say. I don't think Dorit has been asking anyone any questions about themselves because she's very preoccupied with her own shit right now. That.
A
To that point, though, Sutton, you're not special. She hasn't asked anyone. She's an everyone. So don't think that you are getting the brunt of it. She doesn't do it. For anyone to fast forward is like, when Rachel came to her party, Rachel had to tell her what was going on. Dorit listened. I feel like if they brought her to the side, it's like, dorit, can I tell you what's going on with me? She'd listen, but she's not going to be proactive with anyone because she's in her own head because she's been selfish since day one. This is not a new Dorit. To know her is to love her. American spirit Menthols.
B
Okay, let's take a break and talk about when Sutton goes to confront to read again.
A
I have been shopping on revolve for my coachella outfits because I do not know what to wear. I have like 150 ideas in my head. And thank God for revolve because I have been ordering up up a storm. A
Confront again. Round two Ding ding ding ding ding.
B
Because Kathy and Kyle made her. Kathy's like, just, you know, you aren't getting rid of me. That's the Sutton Brown I love. She's like pep talking. Her hyping up like, come on, you're
A
not Sutton's track anymore. You're Sutton Brown, and Sutton Brown loves confrontation. We've got two hours left.
B
I know.
A
You gotta do it. You gotta do it. The producer freaking yelled at us.
B
I know. And then Sutton's just like, dorit, I just want to let you know you hurt my feelings. And Dorit's like, I'm sorry I hurt your feelings. And she's like, fuck. She's like. She's like, oh, shit, that is not how this is supposed to go.
A
Dorit doesn't even know what her feelings are hurt from, but she does not care when dorit have to be pulled away from her friend. And she's like, yeah, I'm gonna hate her forever for this. And says, but you're gonna hate me. Did you hear that, Kyle? She said she's gonna hate me. We've got something here. And then when dorit apologizes, she's like, fuck.
B
And dorit goes, so I said, I'm sorry.
A
What?
B
What else do you want?
A
Well, it doesn't feel like you're sorry.
B
Well, what would you like in addition to the apology?
A
Okay, bye. Bye, weirdo.
B
Dorit trying to make weirdo a word. I'm like, dorit. She said it multiple times, like, I think she wants to make it, like, fetch. And I'm like, we could have found a better word. Weirdo. Come on.
A
No, but there's something about, like, twerp, like, you know, or like, dork. And like, weirdo's kind of funny too on that because, you know, that would really drive Sutton nuts to be called a weirdo. Sutton's like, doritos lost her mind and say, honestly, it's the same it's always been. You just were on her side because you had to be on her side earlier. And then when they were like, yeah, there's too many kumbaya moments here. Not enough drama, you're like, I'm out.
B
I love how dorit played this, though. She knew exactly what was happening. Kyle's little army was coming along. You know, Sutton tried to do her dirty work. It didn't work. She really wasn't giving her what she wanted. And I thought she did a good job in this situation because I'm team Dorit here. What about you?
A
It just feels so put upon from the Kyle side that it's like, I keep just thinking, you're so right. The production was like, do something.
B
Totally.
A
Do you see what summer house is doing right now? Do something. Dorit, go make out with Mo or something. I don't know what needs to happen, but we need something like that, right?
B
And moving forward after the party and everything. I. I loved seeing Reba on the phone with Sutton, and I thought her advice was absolutely hysterical. Like, well, you know, I just want to let you know, after your father died, I was pretty upset, so Dorit could be going through the same things. And then Sutton's like, well, my feelings are hurt. She's like, well, how shallow are your feelings? Like, buck up. The girl didn't mean it. You know, Reba is. Is team Dorit for the moment, but she says, like, if you don't want to go to her non book launch, her. Her cover launch, don't go. And I loved her little line at the end was like, you know, you're still a mother, but you're also Sutton and a unique person, and that's what you need to work on. I thought that was very sweet. Nice advice.
A
They've come so far, but Reba still wants to stick it to her. Every so often, she's like, I know that I said, I love you now, but when I say I love you, that means I'm allowed to also jabby three other times.
B
Totally now. Okay. To me, it makes sense for Sutton not to go. They're in a fight right now. She doesn't want to celebrate Dorit. That's totally okay. My problem is that she texted her 30 minutes into the event. That's a no for me.
A
Also, if you're not gonna go because there's drama between you, you don't need to text 30 minutes after the event and then explain what the drama is to the person. Guess what? She knows. She was there. She knows what you guys are doing. You could just say, hey, I'm not gonna be able to make it today. It was almost like she texted it because she wanted to happen at the party without her being there. The message was, we're not talking. It was awkward. I don't think that I should ruin your day. It's like, well, why are you even putting that paragraph out there?
B
No. This was so strategic, and Kyle started it. So Kyle decides she's not going to go, and then she's like, so, Sutton, you shouldn't go. Erica, you shouldn't go. Guys, there's not one text message about this. Because they all talked on the phone. They did party line together. Together. Everything about this is played out. But they're smart now. They know. Do not leave a paper trail.
A
Kyle learned her lesson that's literally why her and Dorit don't get along is because Dorit read that text at the reunion.
B
Yes.
A
They're using signal.
B
Dude, Erica not going and not saying anything is so bad and so wrong in my opinion.
A
Well, especially having the conversation with Rachel to let her know that she is going to reach out because it is so wrong to not show up and not say anything.
B
They specifically say a no show would destroy her. So that was your intention.
A
Well, and at that point, too, if production said do something, they were like, you know, the friendship is already fractured. Let's just break it. Let's be done. It's over. Now we can draw the line in the sand. I'm not gonna show. And I'm like, this is so weird now, because I thought last week I was like, wow, Dorit really overplayed her hand because they're so upset they're not coming to this. And then I'm like, well, now this is like a coordinated effort to not show up. Even though at the end, Sutton said not planned. Didn't know you didn't, because how did Erica show up at your house? And you think she did a drop by?
B
No. And Erica came with no makeup, but I noticed Sutton was, like, fully in glam, so. So I wonder if she was gonna go to the event. And then at the end was they kind of drum something up and was like, actually, I won't go. Come over here.
A
Either way, it's like, it made sense for Kyle not to go. I got that. Especially with the wedding happening. That makes sense to me. It's not worth it. I think that was enough of a drama statement to have Kyle not go and be like, they really are done at this point. Erica, don't film a scene saying that you're going to be respectful and text her and then not do that. That reflects po on you. Sutton. To be honest, Durie doesn't really care if you're there or not. She only cares because she wants the cast to be there. But you are Persona non grata to her. The fact that Amanda showed up because women supporting women, even though, I mean, to launch a book, you have to write it, but I want to support her. And then I'm like, wait, Amanda, you better manifest staying on Kyle's team, because all Rachel and Bose have to do is show you, like, an ounce of love and she'll switch.
B
I know. Amanda just. There's no way she's coming back, right?
A
I have no idea. She's just a Barbie. She's living in Barbie's dream house in Malibu where she can see the dolphins from the window. She's in her Barbie boots. YSL if you didn't know. And they. And she can't bend her knees. So she's just gonna be over there and she's discoing. Wait, we didn't even talk about the fact that. That the DJs at Rachel's party were the guys from the Hamptons.
B
Oh, okay. Yeah. Happy birthday.
A
Yeah. But he was, like, nervous to sing by himself. He's like, where's the group to sing? Happy Birth.
B
Do you think Rachel's hooked up with that guy?
A
I think so.
B
I do too.
A
Yeah. His name is Xander. You know, short for Alexander, I'm sure. And I just feel like for her, she'd be like, he's hot. He's young. He's a musician. She's living out her Stevie Nicks fantasy. You know, Daisy Jones and the Six. Rachel Zoe and the six. Xander.
B
Yeah. There feels like there's something there. And that Caius couldn't be any sweeter. I hope Charlie's like Caius.
A
Both her sons were so cute. Jumping in the pool together. I just like, this is so fun. I also noticed too, it was like, there really was, like, a lack of men at this party because Rachel is so into female empowerment right now. Because Roger, he's dating my club clone. Not me personally, her clone. What? He found a girl who has her birthday one day after Rachel. A wannabe little stylist. And then he posted it on social media. I was like, oh, she is still so hurt. I mean, obviously she is, but, like, she's still so hurt about him trading her in for that younger model. I felt really bad for her.
B
It's also. I find it really embarrassing when people put up social media posts like this. Now am I gonna put up a happy birthday post for Charlie? Sure. And maybe I should post my wedding photos because I really like them now. You know, it's. There's nothing wrong with it.
A
You didn't like them before. You look so good in them. I knew. I do remember you being upset, though, I.
B
At the. At first. Now I see them like, I want to be that girl again,
A
but stress made me look so good.
B
I want to be that girl again. But yeah, I mean, I don't want to, like. I think there's many nice partner that is totally fine.
A
But it's the. It's the people where, you know that they're doing it for a purpose because they want to purport this fake life.
B
And I. I do Remember when I first started dating Michael? Like, I was excited to put it on social media and, like, eventually, like, quote unquote, reveal it or something, but, like, it made it feel official or something like that.
A
Roger had. He had a double motive. One, because his younger girlfriend's probably on social media, and so he wants her to see that he's claiming her. And two, he knew it would hurt Rachel.
B
Right. This is super calculated.
A
Yes. So, yeah, it's.
B
It's quite strange.
A
My personal Instagram. My last post is from 2019. You guys.
B
You guys, I accidentally posted on a story on my personal Instagram today. Like, so embarrassing.
A
I have to tell you. I saw a circle like that. You had posted a story, but I hadn't watched it. Maybe she's sharing a picture of Charlie or something, which you never do anyways. But I was laughing, like, what, at 7am Is she posting on her story? Then when you texted that, I started laughing because I was like, oh, that's what it was.
B
So embarrassing. So embarrassing.
A
Oh, my God. Okay, we gotta talk. The engagement.
B
Oh, my God. You guys, like, okay, I. I really like both. I genuinely do. I wish great things for her, but I just was like, did she plan this? Why do I think she bought the ring? Why am I so mean? Like, I. I'm so sorry. It was like, look at us. It's a mommy and daughter date. Let's hold hands. And then all of a sudden, she walks into this private room getting engaged. I'm like, oh, come on.
A
She walked into BOA and not one table was filled because they had rented out the entire restroom.
B
On.
A
Not only that, she was wearing gold, which matched the decor of the engagement setup. Here's the thing. This could have been somewhat of a surprise. It could have been. They had gone ring shopping. She had bought a ring. She knew it was coming.
B
Her reaction was very sweet. She was shaking. Those were real feelings. I don't deny that.
A
Yeah.
B
I just think she was part of the planning process.
A
Oh. When I talked to you, you said you were in San Diego. I know you have his location.
B
I was wondering. I was. Does she not track him? Maybe she doesn't.
A
I. I think she definitely has her has location.
B
Okay, one last thing. I loved on Dorit's on the bar, she had special tea cocktails, and one is called the Dorit. You guys, Belvedere soda, three lemons, carcass out in a short glass. Light, crisp, effortlessly chic.
A
Do you think that production told her, dorit, you have to host an event this season? And so she's like, okay, I'll do, like, my book cover. Because she hosted this on a Monday, which is always the slowest day in restaurants, which means it's the cheapest to rent out.
B
Yeah, it is getting us to talk about her book once again. The book doesn't come out Till, I think, June 2nd. She couldn't even figure it out to. To get it together to have it out as the show is on. But at least we're talking about the book and we know the title. We know what the COVID looks like. She looks very chic. Genuinely feel bad for Dorit in this moment because it makes sense for Kyle and Sutton. But, like, Erica doing this to her is genuinely sad, and it really draws the line in the sand, and she knows that Kyle has won her over, and I really do think it's the end of the friendship for.
A
For them, 100%, it's over. Except, though, I think Erica could come back because you have to. To factor in audience reaction.
B
No, I agree with that. And Erica, in her interviews has been very sweet about Dorit, I think, and I think she does truly love Dorit, but I don't think Dorit's going to be able to forgive her.
A
I. By the way, you know what's crazy, too? Sorry to go back on this. So Rachel's talking about how, you know, Roger has, like, a new version of her, basically, and dur's like, I would freak out about that too. And then have you seen PK's alleged new girlfriend, which looks like a. A younger d?
B
Yeah, I have.
A
When she said that, I was like, oh, man, the timing on this.
B
I know.
A
I. I hope by the time this book comes out, they start filming for next season, that I hope that Dorit is in a better place because obviously this is, like, all consuming to her and this is, like, the only thing she can think about. And I know they wanted their hot girl summer this summer, but I don't feel like that happened. But I really think for all of them, it could be a hot girl summer this summer. Summer.
B
No, Dorit has to come back next season, be on time to everything, ask people questions. She has to show growth and that she's watched back the season and is showing change. But I can understand if she doesn't ever want to forgive her.
A
This feels catty. Luckily, though, I would also say the level of event that this is, if this was the actual book launch, that would be like, like, never returning. We are done, done, done. There's ways for them to get out of this. Sutton will Go wherever the wind takes her. And Duri doesn't care.
B
No. And you said the word caddy, and I don't even think it's caddy. It's calculated because the three of them came up with this plan together. And that's why I think Dorit's not going to be able to get over it because it wasn't just like Erica not showing up. It's because. Because Kyle and Sutton and Erica, they all collectively did it and they're creating an alliance. And the fox horse five is over. It's. It's much more layered than just not showing up for this book cover.
A
No, no, I agree. But I guess I'm just saying the severity of the event, like, it would be even worse if it was like the book launch, a book cover. I think they could still potentially recover if they want to make amends with Dorit.
B
Do you think she was on time for her own party?
A
They probably told her an earlier time it started that.
B
I mean, Courtney, I say I hate it, but I love talking about it with you.
A
I don't think it's a hate watch because I don't hate watching it. I'm just laughing at the fact of them trying to, like, flounder to save it. And that almost becomes another lens to see it through.
B
Absolutely. I'm like, what. What acting are we doing this week, guys? What is the storyline we have to drum up? Because you're saving the season, Kyle.
A
Well, as always, a lovely week with you. I will see you next week and
B
have the best time. I feel like you're going to see Jesse Solomon or something.
A
The sky's the limit, guys.

This episode is rich with snappy banter, fashion critiques, behind-the-scenes theorizing, and genuine Bravo fandom. Mary and Courtney’s detailed play-by-play of RHOBH S15E17 is less a hate-watch and more an affectionate roast, hopeful the franchise will course-correct but still entertained by the current melodrama. The show’s tone is witty, self-aware, sometimes irreverent, but always grounded in deep reality TV expertise.
For Bravo fans craving in-depth breakdowns, sharp fashion talk, and hilarious cultural commentary, this Two Judgey Girls episode is a non-stop treat.
