it's Courtney from LA And I have to tell you something, Mary, because in true 2Judgy Girls fashion of being on time, this is episode 7. 02.

We have had over 700 episodes of 2Judgy Girls. 700 kicked off with Real Houses of Atlanta season 17 premiere. I love that it aligned with the premiere episode. And I thought, I gotta tell Mary. And then I waited two episodes because I forgot.

[Mary]

I cannot believe we have done this 702 times. And should we let them know a little something else?

[Courtney]

Go for it, girlfriend.

So if you guys haven't put it together yet, Courtney and I are officially full time podcasters. I will not be going back to teaching. And this is the real deal. We can say our profession is podcaster.

[Courtney]

Yes. We are officially doing this full time, which is so exciting because we get to dedicate so much more time to do all of it and get to watch so much more and hang out with each other all the time now.

[Mary]

I mean, hence all those emergency episodes last week.

[Courtney]

Truly, we wanted to make sure that this was something that we could actually do full time. So now that we are here, we are.

[Mary]

It's official. Official.

Then it rolled over to 2017. You said, I'm in a year of. Yes, yes. I caught. I caught you right in the beginning of the year. And it all kicked off.

It was like my New Year's resolution. I was looking for a hobby and we only wanted to get free things like defy wares. That was like a big goal. And then if you have been here since 10k before Labor Day, you are an OG. And what a ride this has been. I mean, I can't believe we've done March Madness nine times. We've had nine winners. I feel so, so lucky that we can call this our job. I get to hang out with you every single day. And we have truly built a business. It's mind blowing to me. And we have the best job in the world. And I'm so happy I get to

[Courtney]

do it with you. That was so nice. I love this. And I think too what's been so fun is like if you were a 10k before Labor Day or you've come along the ride at some point, we've picked people up along the journey. Welcome hopefully you guys feel it too, is that it's two girls just chatting about everything. Bravo. Things that we love, things that we don't love. I could have known back in our sorority days when Mary would get on that intercom for the house and play Don't Stop Believing by journey at 8am to wake everybody up. It was a skill and what a ride it's been. And we want to thank all of you because this is something we could not do without you guys. So we're so appreciative because without you, there's no us.

Yes. Some people were wondering, did my profession change to a real house life of Rhode Island? And I was laughing because last week I did say to Mary, I was like, do I like, kind of look like Jo Ellen? And I was like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. And then when we were trying to figure out who she looked like, the amount of messages we got that Jo Ellen and I are twins was astronomical, Insane.

[Mary]

So much so that a listener made a side by side of you and Joellen. The responses to that were insane. Everyone was like, oh my God, I totally see it. And it's really funny because last week Courtney and I kept. I mean, Courtney and I kept on saying, God, who does she look like? She looks so familiar. So familiar. And then I guess on watch what crappens, Ben said it was you. Then there was like a Reddit thread about it. I heard about this from my local liquor store.

[Courtney]

A Reddit thread about me specifically, or Reddit thread about who Jo Ellen looks like?

[Mary]

The Reddit thread is about you looking like Jo Ellen. And I found this out from my liquor store. What I Yesterday I went into my liquor store and I met the people that work at the liquor store at an Erika Jean concert. And I was like, God, they look so familiar. They look so familiar at an Erika Jean concert. And they're like, we Work at the liquor store that you go to. And I'm like, oh, my God, that's so funny. So now every single time I go in there, we talk about Bravo. So they were like, yeah, I was listening to watch what crappens and they said that Courtney looks like Jo Ellen. And then I saw on Reddit that you guys kept on being like, who does she remind us of? Who does she remind us? And then, okay, I think Jo Ellen looks like Deanna from the Bachelorette.

[Courtney]

My top choice right now, especially after watching this episode. Besides me, obviously. I feel like she's like a yassified version of me. Like, if you put Facetune on me, then maybe I would look like Jo Ellen.

[Mary]

She has used the products that she's selling, the machines.

Yeah, I think she's very beautiful too. I also was like, what do you mean? She's younger than me?

[Mary]

She's gorgeous.

When I see the housewives, I always expect them to be later 40s, in their 50s. But this cast actually ranges from 31 to 55, with Jo Ellen being 38. But I don't know why, in my mind I just was like, oh, she must be like 48. But she's not. She's younger than me. Um, you said Deanna. I actually see Melissa Rycroft, who was a former bachelorette, and then she was like a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. She also gives a lot of Topanga. Danielle Fischel, who obviously was on Dancing with the Stars this past season. People were saying Jan Aiden or they see Teresa with a larger forehead. So I'm in good company.

[Mary]

You, you are. I think Joanne is gorgeous. I think, oh, she's gorgeous.

[Courtney]

But the comparisons for some of em, I was like, o, no, you love that for her or me? But did Joe Ellen make a splash this week? Because she is going at it with Rula and they haven't even interacted on screen yet.

[Mary]

Well, I love this because this happened all before the season.

[Courtney]

So this is a year ago that when we meet Rula, she sits down with Kelsey and she sits down with Liz and they're all having drinks and we find out that Rula's husband had an affair. And it was last summer. So a year ago, Joe Ellen is the one who discovered the pictures because the affair partner, that cockroach, she posted it to her Instagram and Facebook. No big deal. Willy nilly throwing out these photos of her sitting on his lap. He's kind of kissing her cheek on one of them, then they're looking forward in the other. And Joellen Texts it to Liz and Liz sends it to Rula.

[Mary]

And Rula is putting the kibosh on this. She acknowledges that it did happen, but it's not happening anymore. And the way that she speaks to Liz about it is about the children. So she has a five year old and the eight year old, and she says, you know, when you produce something

yourself,

you would understand more. And Liz is like, I raised those three girls. Their mother was not in their life. Those children are mine. I accept them as my own. That is not appropriate to be saying. Also, Rula and Brian, why would you come on this show if you don't want people to know more about this stuff? You shouldn't have come on the show. Because I can tell you, all the skeletons are coming out of the closet right now.

[Courtney]

Why? Also, do you think they waited to introduce Rula to us in episode two?

[Mary]

I am unsure. So is she like immediately the villain? Do they notice right away that Jo Ellen's gonna be the star of the franchise? She definitely. You're guarded because you meet her last, in my opinion.

[Courtney]

Right. I was trying to figure out what's the angle of presenting her later. Here's all these relationships. Everyone seemingly is getting along. Or is it Joellen actually gets along with half of them and she's going to usurp this group and be the crowned pearl, I guess, of everyone. And so we need to set up first what's going on with the other women, which is like small potatoes at this point because the real piece here is Rula against Jo Ellen.

[Mary]

Did they also decide not to show her in the first episode because she doesn't even show up to the winery in the second episode?

[Courtney]

Yeah, that's why I was like, okay, maybe there was like no interaction within the timeline, but they can edit it that way. To introduce us, Liz is driving on her little boat into lunch with Kelsey. Could. Could there have been some sort of Liz and Rule a scene? It just feels weird for a completely brand new franchise to not have all women introduced. Episode one. And based on that too, I have to say we don't need Dolores in this group. And there's nothing against Dolores. Like, I love Dolores. I'm glad she's going to be on the New Jersey reboot, but her not being in this episode did not hurt this group of women. They all are nuts.

[Mary]

No. It was so awkward to have her at the party last weekend. I think it was very distracting. These women do not need her at all. Also, Rula kind of seems like a powerhouse. She feels like she Makes her own money. She's a financial planner, so she lives in Lincoln. She would never live in Cranston.

[Courtney]

Did you see Jo Ellen's Instagram post?

[Mary]

I did.

[Courtney]

I just said something like, you shop there. You're always there. You work there. You love Cranston, basically. And I was like, okay, so they're still not getting along? No. Love lost throughout the season between these two. They will be feuding.

[Mary]

They definitely will.

Okay, so Rola has been married to

Brian, the podiatrist, for nine years.

They've been together 12 years, and she's

working on forgiving him. And she is sick of people talking about the affair and the way that he has to point out that he allows her to track him. You can tell there's trouble in paradise.

[Courtney]

Well, I'd say so. And I think that man is leaving. Whatever he's like, when Jax would be like, oh, I'm always at the gym, and he'd just leave his phone in the gym locker. We don't know that that's fact. But that's what I assume is happening here, is that he's leaving his phone at the office.

[Mary]

Oh, my God, you're totally right. Or the girl comes to the office, or he has a burner phone that she contacts him on.

[Courtney]

Rula, I think is absolutely beautiful. I think she's gorgeous. She, like you said, she's like the full package of. She makes her own money, she takes care of herself. And then he shows up. And I said, it's always that guy. It's always that guy. The audacity.

[Mary]

I know.

[Courtney]

Why did they come on? Why, Mary? You're so right. Why did they come on this show? So I wondered, with Kelsey and her Miami big papa, was that a Kelsey Grammer situation? Put her on the show, get her her own money, fly her off into the sunset, Then we meet Rula and Brian, and I said, oh, is this the same thing? Get her her fame, push her onto this show. Because I do not understand why they would come on this show and think it's a good look.

[Mary]

I mean, I guess if they're heading down the divorce train, that's the only reason.

[Courtney]

Well, I. That's okay. And that was one of my predictions for the year, by the way, too, is I thought a Rory housewife would get divorced. And as I said, I knew that there was trouble with one of the couples here. I'm a little nervous about some of them, to be honest, after this wine tasting. But it's like the leading couple for me is Rula. And Brian. Because also at that meeting with Kelsey and Liz is when she's trying to put the kibosh on it, Kelsey, one, asks her, are you comfortable talking about it? AKA on camera?

[Mary]

Yes.

[Courtney]

Two, she's like, well, it's over. And Liz literally does, like, side hand, like, but it's not ma.

So she's trying to pretend on camera that it's over.

Well, I think in her real life, she's trying to pretend it is too, but she knows that that man is a lying cheat.

This is gonna be a tough season for her. And then I thought, too, maybe it's actually her wanting to come on this show and expose him that that could be.

So I saw an interview, and she said this woman maybe threw herself at the car. I don't really know what happened, but it seemed like it wasn't her fault. Courtney's mouth is speechless.

We got to move on from that. Hopefully I get more will come to light. Or not. I don't know. Kelsey has live in help because she needs a babysitter.

Well, I'm very curious. Does her boyfriend that has the money know about the second boyfriend?

[Courtney]

Okay, so it has been discovered who Miami Big Papa is. Do you remember ever seeing there's this really nice judge.

[Mary]

I know exactly who you're talking about.

I know ex.

[Mary]

He would be like, why'd you get a speeding ticket? And then they would tell their sob stories, and then he would pay for the ticket and give them advice. I know exactly who you're talking about.

[Courtney]

Yeah. So that is the father. He's since passed away, the son. And his name is John Caprio. He's one of the sons. And that is who this boyfriend is. He spends half his time in Miami, half his time in Rhode Island. And this photo that they showed, you know, they kept blocking out the photos. It was, like, so easy for them all to find. The house is in, and I want to say it's Tibble D llc, which is the mom's maiden name, and that's who owns the house that Kelsey lives in.

[Mary]

Okay, now, does the rich boyfriend Big Papa know about this other boyfriend?

[Courtney]

Unclear. Unclear because we're polyamorous, not polygamists.

[Mary]

Because to be a polygamist, you have to be married, and she's not married.

[Courtney]

I would be very curious if he knows about the boyfriend. He does now.

Well, the housekeeper has to, right?

He has to. Right. There's some sort of understanding here. I don't know what that understanding is, but someone's understanding something or another.

Well, and next week, we're gonna meet the other boyfriend, which I'm just so curious about his finances, you know?

I know. I agree. That's the love relationship, and this is the live relationship. Miami Big Papa. I guess we can call him John, but Miami Big Papa just sounds better.

Miami Big Papa has to know about him because she's gonna film with the guy.

Yeah. Are they, like, on some sort of break at that point? There's so many questions. Kelsey talks to Alicia and says, look, there's a lot of things going on here in this friend group of ours, and we need to be like Hillary Duff and come clean. And I said, okay, Gen Z, I see you get some Laguna beach happening with that reunion. Timely okay. And then I thought of this wine tasting was so freaking funny to me because they all start putting in their boxes. The thing that they have to do is they're all going to ask questions anonymously, even though they're all going to admit to who wrote the question. And everyone has some sort of rumor, and not one person admits to the rumor. And yet I believe they're all true.

[Mary]

First, we talk about Ashley I losing her virginity at 29.

[Courtney]

You mean the medieval princess? When Joe Ellen at one point says, go get a turkey leg from Ashley I. Because she's dressed like a Renaissance fair princess, I giggled and I said, I love this Joe Ellen. I love her.

[Mary]

I know. Love her.

[Courtney]

When she also said, oh, Rula's sick. Oh, is that because she just takes too much Ozempic and gets headache again? You don't cross Joe Ellen. I want her as my best friend.

[Mary]

Jo Ellen doesn't lie, though. Do you see what I mean? Like, everything she says is the truth, which is actually scarier.

[Courtney]

When last week she said, oh, I didn't say that to your face, but I did say that. How do you even respond to that? You can't.

[Mary]

Joelle also hates to see humidity coming. Her hair always starts so beautifully blowed out. And girls, then it just gets so frizzy. I said, oh, we're back east in the summer.

The way they edit these things sometimes, like, we'll be able to tell because of Jo Ellen's hair.

Okay. We start little. Actually, why don't you go first? Because your rumor is just about your virginity. Nobody cares.

Okay. Okay. So then we get a little spicy, and they ask Alicia if she has hooked up with Gary, who is Joe Ellen's husband. And Alicia says no. She literally prayed for him. They did first holy communion together. No, no, no, no, no. What do you think?

I don't think so. Okay. I don't think so. And also, if something happened, be like, in high school, like, we're 40, 38. I believe Alicia is 41. But like, Joellen, ask your sister.

[Mary]

I need to know more about that. I'm just dying to know you care about Alicia.

[Courtney]

Or let's ask your sister. Then we go to Nosy Rosie, which we didn't get a lot of. Nosy Rosie. She shows up with her space buns. Nosy Rosie says, did you have the affair with the coach?

[Mary]

Yeah.

[Courtney]

And then I look, I looked it up.

[Mary]

I was wondering. I was like, I know Courtney will Know who this coach is? Tell me who it is.

[Courtney]

The coach's name was Ed Cooley. And the rumor is that at the time that Rosie worked for. I want to say it was like, WJAR or something like that. I can't remember the acronyms. Apologies. And she was a newscaster for them. And this affair happened, and because it was going around everywhere, the wife gave him an ultimatum, like, you leave this school. Or were, like, divorcing. And so then he moved to Georgetown and became the coach there. And then, apparently quietly, she was like, let go from the news station. And nobody's ever said anything, but she said, I've never done that. And I said that.

[Mary]

That feels suspicious. That feels pretty sus the fact that he moved and she was quietly letting it go. I'm on to her coincidence.

[Courtney]

I don't know. But also, I was like, wait. Salacious Episode two, You guys, so much

[Mary]

happened at the end of this episode. Like, it was insane.

[Courtney]

But the funny part about this whole thing is, too, is we don't even know these women. You ask this question, she says, no, what's gonna happen? Everyone's going to the Internet to look it up. Who's the coach? What happened? I need to get more details, but that was the gist that I saw.

[Mary]

Okay, that filled my cup. So thank you for doing the research. Next up, we have someone asking if Jo Ellen is a swinger. And we've heard a lot of rumors about this, and Joellen claims no. She does admit to a threesome, and now her mom's gonna know about that.

[Courtney]

Let me. She goes, let me not tell you the big secret. I'll tell you a little one. And then Kelsey, we ask, are you a polygamist? And she says, no, but I am dating someone else, as we talked about.

[Mary]

But also, that feels like a pretty big moment for her to actually admit no. I'm in two relationships, and I feel like at first she was going to try to hide it and then realize that I'm not going to be able to, so I might as well go all in and, like, this is who I am.

[Courtney]

She'd already scheduled filming for the next week.

[Mary]

She's like, I'm going to show you guys who this little papa is.

What if we meet him next week and his face is blurred?

I. I cannot wait to know more about this person and the arrangement. And if he lives close by, I. I need every single detail.

Or is he the pool boy? What is he doing? So then it also brings up this Conversation that we had last week at the picnic. Right. And Alicia and Rosie are like, well, Joellen, you brought it up. And she was like, I wasn't trying to talk about Kelsey at the picnic. And Ashley, I backs her up because she doesn't want to be on her

bad side, but strategic. I. So I don't think Jo Ellen was hanging out Kelsey to dry in this.

[Courtney]

I don't either.

[Mary]

I think she was just saying, oh, she's going through a hard time. She's trying to figure out does she want to have kids or not. She's not going to be able to do it with this man that she's living in his house. So she's got a big choice to make. Is she going to leave him and find someone else to have kids with? She's got a lot going on. I don't think there was anything wrong with that. It wasn't mean or malicious. She's just trying to figure things out. It was wrong because Rosie maybe didn't know about her setup.

[Courtney]

Yeah. I think she was saying she's going through a hard time. And then nosy Rosie was poking in there. What do you mean? What do you mean? And then wanted to confirm the rumors that she had heard.

[Mary]

Joellen even said, why don't you talk to her about it? I trust that if Joellen wants to goss, she's gonna goss.

And then we end with Liz. And Liz, the question. Alicia, she doesn't even know how to write the question. It is just words jumbled together because she was nervous. Hey, did you have an affair with Dino? Is the news true? And Liz is like, what news? Alicia. She's like, the. The affair stuff. I ran over a woman. She's so nervous. And then Liz starts. She goes, no, no, no. Look, Jerry would be out of town three out of four weeks on these crazy fishing trips. And I had a friend named Dino who I. And I don't know where people are getting this because the relationship was weird. It's weird.

Also, the fact that they got to show a picture of Dino was kind of wild to me. Like, he has agreed to have that picture be shown. Are we gonna meet him on camera? There seems something fishy to me. And it was more than the fishing trip.

[Courtney]

Yeah, exactly. Wait. Also, I wanted to talk about. Her stepdaughter is pregnant.

[Mary]

Yes.

25. Happened a couple months after she met the boyfriend. They had a girl and named her Melania.

But didn't the daughter look like Kylie Jenner? She gave me, like, Kylie Jenner old face. Not being old. Like, her old face. Oh, sorry.

But I'm assuming they were together for a lot longer because she talked about how she was in one of the daughter's lives, said she was three years old. But then I was looking up the amount of time they were married, and I was like, I need to know the timeline. If she's there, and the daughter's three years old and now one is 25. She's been there, right? I.

It sounds like at least 20 years or something. I feel like there was indiscretions on both sides.

That's what I'm thinking too. Like, where did it happen? Like, were they married yet even? Like, when were these fishing trips? Are the girls out of the house? Did she feel. Or was she feeling animosity towards him because he was going on fishing trips and she was raising the kids? Ooh.

How long or when was this supposed affair? Is this a recent thing? Has it been ongoing? It sounds like Dino's been there since the beginning. Yeah.
