E
it's Courtney from la. Episode three, Real Housewives of Rhode Island. These women just keep bringing it. When does the filler episode happen? There's no episode to fill.
C
There is so much information coming out. And I almost felt like this was a little bit like Jen Shaw at the end in the bathroom when she
E
had Meredith's birthday party getting away from the cameras. But we forget we're mic'd up.
C
Yes. Amateur hour.
E
I know. They're only on episode three, Mary.
C
You guys. So much is happening though. Jordy Cray has put out a lot of information about these women. Apparently In October of 2025, Brian Rula's husband was arrested because he literally put a tracking device on her car. And she went to the police station and said, I think my husband's tracking me. And he got arrested in their own home. And then she later dropped the charges. Also, apparently he had audio and video going in the house, like he was watching her when he was the one that cheated.
E
Okay, Monica Garcia, again with the Jen Shaw cameras. That's scary. To find a tracking device, figure out that it's your husband doing it, who's like, oh, you have my location. Which leads me to believe again, he's leaving his phone places to be tracked at his office, perhaps, and is making sure that she doesn't go wherever he's going to be. Maybe she had caught him at some point. Again, the woman doesn't believe in divorce, though she has previously been divorced. Rula, it's okay. You are a boss, bitch. Get out there. Get out of this and get out there.
C
It's so, so wild. And then he posted another story about Liz. And apparently there's police documents the state is prosecuting against Dino, not Dino. And something about like cocaine shipments. And then there is a ton of voice calls between Liz and Dino, but Liz's phone number is under her husband's like 410 voice calls. Also, Dino has a kid with Aaron Hernandez's ex. All of this is like alleged stuff
E
that is wild about Dino. I thought we were just keeping it to cannabis. Apparently there could allegedly be more. The phone under her husband isn't weird to me because, like, it's a phone plan. So, like, that's like not weird to me. But the phone calls, I know.
C
I feel like that's pretty paper trail.
E
Strategic trail. Yeah. You have to ask, why do women with skeletons in their closet go on these shows and look for us? We need that.
C
I mean, I can't imagine if you were in like a big drug scheme that you'd want to come on reality tv.
E
Stranger things have happened. I think if you were also like stealing from the elderly, you wouldn't go on a show too. But hey, Jenshaw did it.
C
Here we are. Also, we never talked about. She sat down with people.
E
Yeah, we don't need to talk about it because she still doesn't even think that she did anything wrong. We don't care. We don't want you back on our screens. If you've paid your time and you're doing that and you're paying back your restitution, great. Do it away from me.
C
That really got no traction because it was in the the light of west side Story.
E
Imagine her too being like, this is my big comeback. I've got the people sit down. I'm gonna tell my side of the story. We're like, bitch. We're trying to figure out a timeline of when somebody hooked up with somebody else. Get outta here.
C
Do you think she will be on reality TV ever again?
E
I just can't picture her coming on to Bravo. I also think that that could have been a stepping stone to see if people were in. Jen Shaw doing that interview and honestly thankful for Westside Story that it didn't get the attention that maybe she was hoping. Because I think it's trying to also say we don't care about.
C
No, nobody cared about that interview. I didn't even watch the whole thing. I saw like a few clips of it. It didn't really pick up speed or traction by any means.
E
Yeah, and I'm sure some people watched it and that's great. I think that there's always morbid curiosity to be able to go watch something in a hate watch sense or see like, well, let me just like dip my toe in. For me, there was too much going on that I couldn't even give bandwidth towards that. It's like, I'm sorry, I'm working 247 around the clock for west side Story.
C
You're like, Rosie, you're on the ground reporting live from your couch and living room. Courtney Frane reporting live for the west side Story.
E
Breaking news. No, no breaking news today. We are recording this much earlier than we are releasing this. So there's no breaking news. But did you hear too Rula, that potentially she was cast as a friend of which could be why we weren't necessarily introduced to her in episode one. And then maybe this affair there seems to maybe be if this tracking thing happens when they were filming. You said when was it? October. Yes. And we know that they were filming July. I don't know if they were filming three to four months worth of content from these women, but I'm thinking, wait, maybe we're going to see why we get to that. That, that point.
C
I'll be seated for this, I hope. I'm. I'm a little nervous that. Is it gonna be a short season because it's the first season? I hope not.
E
I would guess 12 episodes. Just because that's a vibe that hit me right now.
C
Okay, we need at least double digits on this.
E
When I watch an episode three, I said, give me ten more at least.
C
Yeah, I. I feel I like your 12 vibe. And then it two to three reunion.
E
This is crazy how much content we have on Bravo Sundays. You have Atlanta and Rhode Island Mondays, which is like my day off of tv, basically. But it's below deck and top shelf. Tuesday is summer house. Wednesday is the Valley and Southern hospitality. Thursday is Beverly Hills and Ladies of London.
C
I'm working overtime over here.
E
There's so much content. And I feel like we're going to have shows that are coming into Replace. I think Covid gave us all PTSD when they couldn't film things. And then we go into this somewhat content drought. But we're back, baby.
C
We are back, baby.
E
Okay, so let's start off with the episode.
C
So you have three scenes at the same time. Like that you're supposed to think is happening at the exact same time. So you have Rosie and Ashley, I with their husbands. Then we have Joe, Ellen, and Gary, which their house was huge. I was shocked. Were you shocked?
E
No. Because we had gone back last episode when Rula said you don't live in Cranston. And they shot. They showed a photo of her house from the outside. So I knew it was big.
C
It was huge.
E
Houses. Minus Rosie and Rich.
C
They're renovating. Courtney, they are renovating. Jared's like, how square foot are you gonna put on this one bedroom house?
E
5,000, apparently. 5,000? There's gonna be a pool, you guys. I like Rich. There's something about him. Is he corn? Is he kind of a dork? Yeah. Do I like him, though? I think so.
C
I think he's sweet. Probably really fun to be around. I. I feel like he might be the life of the party and probably always glass half full type of person.
E
He's a Frank Sinatra singer. Never impersonating. I also love that they have matching Jeeps. So she has a pink Jeep and he has a white Jeep.
C
Oh, I only noticed her pink one because it is loud.
E
And I feel like Alicia needs that pink Jeep so that she can put all of her dolls into the Jeep and drive around with them. That's like a Barbie Jeep. And I think hers are more like Bratz dolls. I'm sorry, I don't know the brand of doll, but Alicia really needs that.
C
Alicia is the perfect housewife for me. She is hilarious, but doesn't even know that she's funny. You don't know what she's gonna say next. She is, like, chaotic yet grounded. But she'll also do the dirty work, but in a completely innocent way. Like, she's harmless and she might be. Her and Jo Ellen, those two might be my favorites.
E
I was gonna ask because I was going to ask you your ranking for this week, and I was like, I kind of think that Jo Ellen might fall a spot for you. Not much lower. But I was thinking that you were gonna change up everything this week.
C
When I saw the dolls, it hit for me.
E
Now, are you someone that grew up with dolls?
C
I obviously had Samantha, American Girl doll. Which American Girl doll did you have?
E
None.
C
Really?
E
No. I was never a doll person. Like, I would get, like, a Barbie, but I wanted the accessories. I didn't want the doll. I had a friend, though. She had, like, every American Girl doll, all the accessories.
C
I mean, I still have Samantha, and I actually have her sailor outfit.
E
Which one's Samantha?
C
She was the bitchy, kind of preppy girl.
E
There's a bitchy doll.
C
If. If you know Samantha, you know Samantha, she was a little stuck up.
E
How did. Wait, how did she have personalities? Did they. Did they have a description for them?
C
Whole thing about American girls were like, they had historical stories. That was, like, their lure. And then it came with the book and you learn about them. So my sister had Kirsten, and Kirsten was the girl. She had the bangs, and then she had the perfect braids, like, tied up.
E
Okay.
C
I took out the braids.
E
She came home one day and then saw the braids were gone, and. And you put on your best acting feet. Did you win an Oscar or should you have gotten a Rousey?
C
Oh, we haven't recovered from taking out the braids, basically. I mean, it was a battle. I think I owned up to it, but it was a big mistake.
E
Why did you do that?
C
I. I think I was just Playing and having fun. I'm a kid.
E
No, I think you knew what you were doing.
C
I think this was just.
E
I did not.
C
No, I didn't.
E
No, I didn't.
C
But when I was a girl, they only had about five dolls, so I had Samantha, my sister had Kirsten. She then ended up getting Molly. Then my younger sister, she got to make her own doll, and I was so jealous. Like.
E
Like. Like a customized doll.
C
Yeah. To look like yourself.
E
Okay. I'm learning a lot.
C
I never got to do that. But now they have, like, a million of them. There's. You know.
E
But not.
C
Not in my day.
E
And she's still harboring resentment since. You pretending that you took those braids out because you were, quote, unquote, playing. You are. You wanted to start something. I know, because I bet your sister also said, too, never touch the braids. Mary Catherine.
C
Yeah, it was. It. I don't know what came over me that day.
E
Would you like to issue an apology now?
C
No. I stand behind taking out those braids. I'm dying.
E
So you're never being invited over to Alicia's house?
C
Probably not hers, to be honest. I would have thought they would have looked a little bit nicer. I noticed the hair was kind of wild. They had been played with, and I was a little bit confused by that.
E
Well, she had to move rooms for them because she's. Her house is going under construction, so it sounds like she has a doll room where the dolls are preserved, and she had to move them into the living room while the construction happened. So there's just a lot going on. Okay. Carl's a mess. The dolls are a mess. Alicia's a mess. I, like, I just think back to my friend who had all. I did not know any of their names, but I could remember, like, them being so preserved and being like. I'm like, oh, can I, like, touch this? It's like, no. And I felt like that's, like, how Alicia is. Like, sometimes I let Selena touch it, but I'm. She has to be very careful. Like, she makes her daughter put, like, gloves on or something.
C
It's like our Hermes bag.
E
Yeah.
C
Put on gloves.
E
Yeah.
C
Yeah, exactly.
E
The owner is allowed to touch these dolls.
C
Also, one last thing about American dolls.
E
Okay.
C
There was nothing better when the catalog came in the mail. Like, it was such an exciting day. Catalog would be delivered to your home, so then you could circle what you wanted, like, for your birthday, for Christmas,
E
for the accessories, like a Delia's catalog. But for American girls. Yeah.
C
Because there was only five girls. So then they would have the girl, and then there would be pages of all the different things that you could buy for them.
E
Did you ever mix and match? Like, would you get Kier? No, no, no.
C
I never did that. Like, because it didn't go with their story. Oh, if you know, you know.
E
I know. I'm sure people are yelling at me right now, like, courtney, come on. And I'm sorry. I just never got into it. I wish I did. I feel like I'm missing out.
C
You can go back and read them. No,
E
probably not. But I think maybe I did miss out on a pivotal time of childhood of where I could have bonded with other girls about American Dolls.
C
Could have been. Could have been.
E
My sisters didn't have them either.
C
Oh, interesting.
E
We just. I guess we weren't American Doll girls. That's okay.
C
That's okay. Yeah. You probably, like, touched grass and stuff like that. Okay, let's talk a little bit about Jo Ellen and Gary. Her talking about her ponytail looking like a dildo and him saying, ribs for your pleasure. His accent, you guys, I think I'm into him.
E
They.
C
They, like, do naughty things.
E
Oh, they're like, it's only swinging if you call it that. We call it pineapple upside down cake. You know, they say the pineapple is, like, the swinger symbol. I think that they have a lot of fun together. And I like that Gary is standing up for his wife. He's like, you know, I am not going to deal with this rule of Brian stuff. Coming after your business, coming after children, our family. I'm gonna talk to him at the party. I'm gonna beat him up.
C
And she's like, I couldn't be more excited for this party. I will you for this, Gary.
E
She is turned the F on. She said, you fuck him up and I'll fuck you. A one for one trade. Okay. So Brian wrote an email to the marketing team that Joellen works at. He also reached out to her colleague and hr. And then my boss told me, and that is so crazy for someone who's cheating. I need to see this email, and I think that Joe, Ellen needs to post the receipts, bring it to the reunion. Don't put it online. This is something to bring to the reunion. You give it to Andy, and Andy will read it.
C
I mean, are they denying that they did that?
E
They're not denying it, but I think we need to see what he said specifically, because. What. What would you say? I don't think this person is. Because they're spreading rumors and gossip. What is the email saying this person outed my cheating on my wife. What's the email saying? To try to get her in trouble. Like she even says later when they talk like you're not even my rep. What are you getting involved here for? You cheated, you freak.
C
No, I mean, obviously. Team Jo Ellen. I would love to see the email. Maybe we'll get lucky for the reunion. I like this idea.
E
I think that she has to bring it in and I think then once it's read on the reunion, then when Andy has some of his famous friends in the clubhouse, they'll do a dramatic reading of it.
C
Oh yes, I love that.
E
You know how they do that clubhouse green screen. I just feel that there is more to this email and I need it.
C
You're onto something there.
E
Thank you so much. Okay, let's take a break and then let's come back. With Liz biking with her husband,
C

C
Okay, we have Liz in. See, it's like Gary, Jerry.
E
I know I. I have to remember who's married to who because he also spells it G, E, R, R, Y. And I know R, Y. And it's like, yeah. So Liz and Jerry. Joellen and Gary. Yes, Jerry, Gary, Brian, Rich, Jared. Miami, Big Papa John. Then we got Bill. We've got Billy, Alicia's fiance. It's tough to remember everyone. And yet here we are doing it.
C
We are doing it. So they go on this bike ride, and she's just talking about the Dino situation, and she's upset about it. There's lots of rumors, but the story is, is Jerry would go fishing, and he would go three weekends out of four weekends a month. So he's gone a lot. And he would tell Dino to look at.
E
Not even weekends. Weeks. Oh, three weeks out of four.
C
Whoa. I thought they were the weekends. Okay.
E
Okay.
C
So apparently, Dino was to look after Liz while he was gone. And he did. They would go to the nightclubs. They were hanging out. They were having fun. And this really brought up some rumors in the state of Rhode Island. And people started saying, I think there's more going on with good old Dino and Lizzie. And. And people were talking in the town, and they were spreading this rumor. And Liz is ticked about it, and she's telling her husband about it because she's like, it's. This is not true. I'm not hooking up with Dino. I don't know about this.
E
Okay, here's what I found interesting, though, because you talked about it at the top of the show about these potential allegations. So it sounds like maybe it's a little bit more nefarious. Than an affair. Because she seems to have problem talking about this with Jerry. Like there's no issue. She's like, oh, God. You know, the rumors came up and he seems perfectly fine with it. And maybe it's not an affair if one, if he knows about whatever's happening or has happened or whatever. But two, if it's because there's some weird behind the scenes drug ring. Maybe they're like, this is so silly. They think it's an affair when it's so much worse.
C
I also think that they've both had indiscretions and been open about that. That so maybe maybe this did happen and it's not happening right now.
E
Or there was some understanding because, like, Dino seems very close with them. Maybe he's joining. Maybe it's a threesome.
C
I freaking love how small this town is. Because Kelsey we inter get introduced to Bill. Bill is invited to Studio 54 party. Not because of Kelsey. This is not their coming out party. It's because he's friends with with Jerry, all of them.
E
He's friends with the husbands and partners.
C
But this is why this show is working so well because they all have a past with each other and they actually know each other. It's fucking brilliant. I'm obsessed. I just love it.
E
Let's talk about them at their coffee date. Yes.
C
Okay. So Bill is the other man. They've known each other since seventh grade. Kelsey's mom was like, please marry Bill. I just feel like they have fun together. I don't think it's anything that serious. They probably text all the time.
E
Oh, you don't think it's serious? I think they're downplaying their relationship on camera.
C
Oh, because do you think that her real boyfriend doesn't really know? It's the don't ask, don't tell.
E
Well, so she talks about that. There's also rumors, and again, they're just rumors circulating that when Kelsey started the show that. That her and Miami Big Papa were already broken up. Okay. I don't know what the status is now, but that was somewhat of a rumor that maybe she was hired then.
C
So I'm like, oh, my God.
E
It is kind of like a Kelsey Grammer and Camille grammar situation perhaps. But I feel like the way that they had some comfort with each other, like there was a level of this is something more than just friendly banter, texting, emotional relationship. They are definitely not even sneaking around. It feels like it could be a known thing. I think that they've probably also have so much history from Seventh grade. That I'm like, have they been on again, off again? And somebody has always been circling each other's lives. She really does want to have a family. Bill seemingly wants to give her that, but she's like, but I don't know about the lifestyle changes. Yeah, you're gonna go from rich to poor, baby.
C
What is Bill's job? I feel like that is a big missing piece that we need to figure out.
E
It's obviously a Chippendales dancer based on that costume he wore, which Jared has done once. I feel like Jared did Chippendales in like an all male bachelor review or something. Those other bachelor contestants.
C
It has definitely been filmed and it's out on the Internet. I'd agree with that.
E
What do you think, though? Because.
C
Okay.
E
Kelsey introducing him to us, I thought he was like a cutie too. I felt the vibes between them. I was like, she loves this man and she loves her life with Miami. Big Papa.
C
Yeah. So I think they're best friends. They talk all the time, they hook up. But I think it's just not that serious because he kind of knows that she's never gonna leave that guy.
E
That.
C
That was my reading on that situation. But you have a different one, which.
E
Well, I don't. I'm just thinking there just was such love between them that I think it was like this. Forbidden. I'm saying forbidden, but not because she's putting it on camera that they can't. Like they can't be together. But they are together.
C
Yeah.
E
Because her family talks about it. When are you gonna marry him? How's my son in law, Billy? He's obviously grown up with the family. You said it's a small town, so they really all know each other. And I think her family also is like, I know you like this life provided for you, but you can do so much more. You can get a job, you can be a mom, you can be a wife, you can have kids. Miami, Big Papa, he has his kids. He's not gonna want more. So the life that you're wanting, nothing is happening in this current life and you're just delaying the inevitable. Or you need to change your perception and your expectations about what the future of your life looks like, because it's not going to be what you want it to be today.
C
Yeah. I mean, who would want their daughter to be, like, dating someone that's dating someone else? I don't think that's really ideal.
E
Sure. Love is unconventional. Mary, let's talk Alicia and Liz.
C
This was also like fucking Wild that they came together and at each other's houses, that there's not even like a fight between them. Alicia literally asked Liz last week if she was having an affair. Brought this to the camera, and it didn't even seem like Liz was that mad.
E
I hope you didn't feel like I was attacking you. You know, every relationship's different. If you wanted to, you could ask me why I'm not married. And Liz is like, I know why you're not. That was why last week, playing that game, I was like, this is wild that all of these women are airing out all of these rumors about each other on episode two, which is now opening Pandora's box of more questions than answers. You know, you had to do it for filming.
C
No. And Alicia clearly came on the show to have a job so she can have her own money. She hates asking her husband for money.
E
They're not even husband and wife.
C
That's very true. She hates being the, quote, unquote, stay at home girlfriend.
E
They don't. They haven't gotten married because when she was given a prenup to get married, she was going to be left, left with zero. And she didn't like that. And so she never moved forward with that. Do you think she's trying to, like, look for an out for this, or do you think she's just looking for independence?
C
I think that she doesn't like this life of being a stay at home girlfriend, that she came on the show to create her own money, maybe to become an influencer, get some business deals on her own. No, I. I think she wants independence. I'm predicting they will never get married unless he gives her half the house.
E
He won't even put her name on the deed. And Liz is like, jerry and I do everything 50, 50. I am involved. We are always in each other's business, which I'm like, I know the drug ring and Dino, you guys.
C
Yes, this could totally be wrong. It might be bad information. We don't know.
E
We won't know until the cops get involved. I saw one tick tock and it changed everything. I trust Jordy, though. He does a lot of research on his tiktoks of what he talks about. So he, to me, is a good source of intel.
C
Go look it up, guys.
E
At Jordy Craig. J O R D Y C R A yes. Alicia talked about this as well, though, of how she views relationships. She grew up with all women who are divorced or not with their partners. And so it does make her hesitant to move forward in this, especially she's probably seen some of the women in her life go through hardships, go through these crazy divorces, be left with next to nothing caring for kids, whatever it is. So I can see why she would be hesitant. And if they have a good thing going, minus having to be, you know, asking for money, but if it's a good thing going, then, like, she doesn't maybe necessarily want to rock the boat in that way too. And it's just like I need to look for other ventures and paths for myself.
C
Well, there's no benefit right now for her to get married. At the end of the day, a marriage is a contract and it's to protect you. So if she's getting nothing out of
E
it, what's the point? Yeah.
C
Okay, let's talk a little bit about Ashley and Jared's date night. They only have 90 minutes for date night. Is it. Is it date night or date day?
E
Date afternoon, for sure. I'm not sure what Audrey's hours are because he's locking up. Something that makes me giggle about camera work on these things though, is when he's locking up and the cameras are still inside watching him lock it from the outside. Meaning he has to unlock it and let them out.
C
Totally.
E
I don't know why. Those are the things that make me giggle from a production standpoint. This street is so cute though. He just walks across the street. He goes over to the restaurant. It's got the blue and white striped awnings. This is adorable. Should we go on a class trip to Audrey's? Will it be there by the time we book our ticket?
C
I feel like he needs to give this up, up. I think he's put all his blood, sweat and tears and time, mostly his time. And I think it's been a great four year run and at this point, it's not producing the money they want.
E
So sometimes you got to walk away
C
from things because he could be hosting, he could be a content creator. Bachelor Nation is huge. He can capitalize on this, this still, or find a different venture, but it just feels like Audrey causes so much turmoil in their marriage. She's a.
E
Does he have to be there the whole time? Like, could other people take over and so he owns the business but doesn't have to dedicate his time there? Could he hire other people? I assume there's other managers that work there or people that could run the coffee shop. Could he dedicate. Hey, if you want to see Jared at Audrey's, you got to be there 10 to 1. That's when Jared Is. I was just looking it up. Apparently he hosts Friday night trivia nights. It's like, we can't do that on a Friday. That's date night.
C
The. The reason why they do the day date, which I think this is a brilliant idea. Who wants to pay a babysitter for the kids sleeping? I want you to be running out my kid, making them tired, doing the hard with them, and I can go have a lunch and then I come back home and I'll put them to bed.
E
Yeah. And maybe you get to take advantage of a happy hour menu, too. So then it's even cheaper for date night.
C
So economical.
E
We're just trying to help. Ashley's like, this is a money pit. And you can tell Audrey, really? You're so right. She is such a. She takes up all of this time. She doesn't really give back. It's not a 5050 relationship. Jared puts a lot more time into her than she is to him. And then Ashley's there to pick up the pieces. And his mind is always there.
C
Audrey is the other woman. And I feel bad for Ashley because clearly she's the breadwinner and she's like, so I need to work during the day to, like, pay for our bills. And she has this fluid job where she has deals. She has really busy time, slower time. So, like, she can be home with the kids sometimes, but not all the time. And then to have a nanny, you have to be consistent. So you have to have them no matter what if you want to have someone locked in. But I just feel like she is the one holding the fort together for the family, with the kids, with her business. And Audrey is screwing things up for her and taking away her husband and not providing the money that she would like.
E
Exactly. I do wonder how often he's getting collab posts. Are they doing it as a family? And it's going on Ashley's. Because he has a lot of followers. He has 654,000 followers on Instagram now. Ashley obviously probably has more. She has 1.2 million. So she has like double. But I would say influencing for the most part is really female led.
C
Yes.
E
And so I think she's probably offered a lot more deals. Obviously, she has this show now too, which will also bring in a lot. But if she's doing a lot of family content, that involves him too. I think he has to change the outlook on Audrey of how much time he spends there and let it be a passion project, but that he has to give up control if he wants it to stay around and he still wants to be present in their family and then still also have this if the show if influencing, if everything went away.
C
So Brian Moylan predicted that Jared will win March Madness for 2027. What do you think about that?
E
Well, it won't be west. I mean, he's very cute. So far he seems okay.
C
Oh, I think he's a doll. I think he's a hard worker. Clearly. I, I hope, I hope they can work things out and get rid of Audrey, to be honest.
E
Or just give up control. He doesn't need to be there every day. If he has maybe a couple days a week that he pops in and works a full day, that would be okay. Okay, let's take a break and come back and talk. Rula.

Okay, this Rula brunch made me feel so uncomfortable. These women felt so outdated the way they were talking to her about her cheating husband. Oh, he made a mistake. Just stay strong, be focused, and move the fuck forward. I'm like, I was very grossed out by this, to be honest.
E
Well, okay, devil's advocate to just play the other side. If she's going to stay in this marriage, she does have to move forward because you can't be in a marriage with somebody who has done you wrong and then hold it against them, them all the time. And I'm not saying it's right or wrong. It's just that that's the decision you've made because you don't believe in divorce, even though you've been divorced and you don't want to talk about that because her family would be very upset about it. Then you do have to, unfortunately forgive. You don't have to forget.
C
No, I, I agree with that. And I can understand wanting to give it a second shot. And she only is giving it a second shot because of her kids who are sensing the difference. But then these women, the advice was very strange. You go to the party and prove to them you don't give a worry about it. And you know what? Have some good alone time with Brian. I was really grossed out by this.
E
I felt like a little antiquated.
C
Oh, my God. Yeah.
E
But then I was also like, if you're, if your kids are sensing a difference, then that means that they can feel what's going on. So you do have to move forward because you've decided to stay. And I think we got to get her out of there. I think we got to figure out a way to let her know, hey, you're going to be the girl who's going to be okay. You got to get out of this marriage. It's not worth it to you. And your kids are noticing. And it's better to have, as Rachel Zo told us, it's better to have two parents who love their kids but don't necessarily love each other, but are able to co parent. Having the animosity or the tension is
C
not a good environment. No.
E
And then it's also like, prove to these women. You don't need to prove anything to these women. The women actually don't even really care about it. They care about the mess that your husband is making as a result of it. If you've decided to stay with them, that's on you and that's what you've done for your marriage. It's the fact that you got Joellen, who's going to make it known that you tried to ruin her life. And she's going to make sure all the women in the group also know it's telling that Rula has her friends that aren't a part of the show over at this as opposed to anybody from the cast.
C
That is a very good point. And at the end of the day, Joellen was letting you know because your husband is on social media with another woman. She was telling you because she's a girl's girl. Well, I don't know about that, but, you know, she was letting you know because it's out there and you guys can't hide it. And if you want to hide it, you shouldn't have come on reality tv.
E
But thank you for doing that for. For our sake.
C
Okay.
E
Rosie and Rich, they're celebrating their one year anniversary. The reason of why Rosie doesn't necessarily want kids. And maybe, maybe she'll change her opinion even though Rich says you're gonna be old by then. And I was like, rude. But just the way that she was raised, where she was raised to be perfect and Rosie woods is not perfect.
C
I feel like they should have had this conversation before they got married. She feels like, like she definitely doesn't want to have kids and he definitely does. I guess you always think you can commit someone of something. I think it's really interesting that her mom forced her to get married in the Catholic church and now they are not talking. I want to know more about her mama.
E
Do you think we'll ever meet her where they try to reconcile on camera or something?
C
I'd love to see it. I hope they're lucky, you know, building us up for that.
E
I was going to ask because she says that Rich wasn't Catholic.
C
Right.
E
How were they able to have a Catholic wedding? You guys, it's Catholic corner with Mary Catherine.
C
You have to be Catholic to get the sacrament and be married in the church. I just looked it up. She got married on a Monday. I wonder if a priest gave them a blessing or something. I'm not sure if they actually received. Received the sacrament. You'd have to do pre Cana. They don't just let you get married in the Catholic church. Also, I think certain priests will give you maybe some wiggle room. But if you want to get the sacrament, you both have to be Catholic and you would get married within the church. So maybe they did a form of that, like a blessing by a priest.
E
And that's your Catholic corner with Mary Catherine. Let's talk Studio 54 party. Jerry is turning 54, so why not have a Studio 54 party? I was like, wait, I love this idea.
C
This is such a cute idea. How have I never seen this before? I think a lot of them missed the mark on the costumes. Alicia looked like she was wearing a Dancing with the stars outfit. I thought Joellen's hair was a mistake.
E
This.
C
It was almost like Snooki vibes. Rosie. Poor Rosie. She's like, I hate my outfit. I feel so bloated. The pants don't fit me. Liz. Liz looked cute. She was kind of more like a disco ball. I think a lot of them missed the theme.
E
We can't ask them to do everything. Okay. We have to be respectful of the fact that they're giving us so much more. If they fail on a costume, we're gonna let them have it this week.
C
Okay. And who comes to the party but Dino? And he brings Edian red. Obviously strategic, but he definitely showed up with a woman. And Liz wanted to be known that he was coming to the party because, look, we're just friends. We're just friends,
E
potentially partners in business.
C
So Bill walks in, and it looks like he knows Paulie, which I found interesting.
E
Okay. I was laughing about that too, because, okay, Dolores comes in, and this is the vibe I want Dolores to be. I want her to be there, and maybe she's doing things behind the scenes of getting these women to interact with each other, to learn the ropes of housewives. These women are so insane that they don't need Dolores front and center. I like seeing her at this party looking good. Bill is also wearing a vest and, like, bell bottom pants with, like. It's like a pink color with, like, blue plaid. Very gender reveal. He said, Kelsey wants kids. I'm letting her know I'm a veil help.
C
I can wear this to the gender reveal.
E
2.
C
Two parties for one. And Brian shows up, and he's wearing two costumes. The Studio 54 One and the Faithful husband.
E
Okay, Alicia, I love that you could
C
tell he felt so uncomfortable on camera before they go to the party, Obviously at the party. And then when they get in the car on the way home, he is dying inside. Also, you could easily say, I'm not gonna do this show because I'm a doctor and I don't want this to fuck with my practice because you have a cheating scandal out. The fact that he came on this show is actually insane.
E
Well, I wonder if they signed onto this show thinking that they would clear their name. And then Joellen said, so I have other plans.
C
But, I mean, they are the ones that are in the wrong.
E
Oh, I know. Yeah, I know. But they obviously he didn't think he was in the wrong at the time. I wonder if he thought, oh, there's no way. This is from, like, a year ago. Nobody's gonna say anything. Nothing has changed. Did this show just, like Aggravate and aggravate this relationship and, like, take it to the next level, and then it goes into the tracking. There's so many questions I have, and we're only on episode three, so I'm sure things will get answered. But why do these people come on these shows?
C
I also feel like Rula figured out that night that Brian's affair is still happening. I think she thought at the time he had the affair, he had indiscretions, and she was trying to make it work. And then Joellen bringing this back up tonight, she's like, oh, he's still doing it.
E
She had no idea. Well, and it's also sad, too, because Joellen's trying to say at the end, too. It's not Rula, it's Brian. But then she's still given zingers to Rula. She's like, oh, like her hair topper.
C
I noticed that, though. It's pretty bad.
E
Don't mess with Joellen.
C
Like Ashley.
E
I has the right idea. You need to be on Joellen's side, because it's scary to be on the other side. She said, oh, did you have a life? Guess what? It's ruined now.
C
Also, Joellen's sister is there, Jen, who's hooked up with her husband. I need the sister to talk.
E
Give her a confessional, please. Let's talk about this fight between Jo Ellen and Rula.
C
Well, I feel like this was nothing because Brian wouldn't talk, and he was like, yeah. So, I mean, I guess I just, like, I. I was talking to a colleague about it, and then they said they would hook me up with someone. And then, you know, he wasn't taking accountability at all. And he wouldn't even say on camera that he had an affair. He wasn't using that word. You could just tell he wasn't gonna get involved, be in the fight. He wasn't gonna defend his woman like Gary did. I felt bad for Rula, to be honest.
E
I did, too. You can tell she's in this spot of trying to save her marriage, trying to believe what her husband has said. It is over. Trying to also defend his bad behavior, because you have to be united, front out in public, and then obviously, probably fighting behind closed doors. But you feel bad for her in a way, because it's like. Like she's stuck. She's thinking, stay with him for the kids. He said, it's over. We're going to try again. And then as he, as a podiatrist, keeps putting his foot in his mouth, just is like, not Going to stand up for her. She sees Jo Ellen and Gary is like, I want that. Brian is not going to embarrass himself on tv, which is why he's being tight lipped.
C
Yeah. It was not a good look for him. And I also wonder if they realize the repercussions of, of, of reaching out to her work was the intention to get her fired.
E
That's what he says. It wasn't his intent to get her fired. He was just talking to a colleague. Okay. And talking. And then Gary's like, well, it's pissed me off. Now this is a huge problem for me because you want to know why it went to the top. And I just love when people fight in costumes.
C
Also, like, I get why Joe Allen was turned off on.
E
I get it.
C
I get it. I do.
E
Gary specifically or just him standing up for his woman?
C
Both. Oh, it was sexy.
E
Mary's got a new crush.
C
I always have new crushes.
E
Oh, who else?
C
I don't want to be the other woman.
E
Okay. So they leave. She's upset and I feel bad cuz I'm like, when those cameras turn off, it is not going to be good. But then we have to talk about the fight at the end with Liz and Kelsey because Kelsey has had a little liquid courage.
C
Liz wants to go to the seawall with her husband and Dino, her other husband. And Kelsey doesn't think that's a good idea. And she gets so ticked off, she runs up to her room, the cameras are following them and she's just like, you off Kelsey and. And it's because Kelsey has definitely slept with Dino, don't you think?
E
Well, okay. I thought it was weird when we were introduced to Dino and Kelsey is telling us about Dino. Like, oh, well, when you see Dino, you just can't help but think of the affair rumors. She said, but I don't even see him. I'm like, oh, something bad happened there at some point. But you're trying to think, why doesn't Kelsey like Dino? And then when Liz says, well, why don't you ask Kelsey how she knows Dino? I said with legs wide open.
C
And Liz says, you've got more to hide than I do because she's hooked up with Dino.
E
At first I thought that was inferring Bill.
C
No.
E
But then she starts talking about and it's like, oh, we're talking about Dino.
C
Also, how's Dino getting all these women?
E
What's he got behind closed doors?
C
I'm really curious. Also the sign on her room room with the cat.
E
But there was Also that same sign when they went to Jerry's parents last week to meet the baby daddy parents, that same sign was there because Liz asked where should I put my purse? And her mother in law was like, oh, I would tell you to put in the back bedroom but the cats are in there and then they flash to that sign again. So I'm like, does the whole family have these signs?
A
Oh,
C
maybe it's just for filming because they don't want them to go into certain rooms. But you could also tell Liz did not want the cameras in that room.
E
No, that room was a mess. Yeah, that was like the catch all room right there. She thought if she went in there with the sign, nobody was following. It's like you are still mic'd up but they are yelling at each other. I don't give a anymore. Get out of here. I'm done. They said Episode three Baby, baby, this is.
C
It's so good. It's so wild. I hope everyone is watching right now. It's like better than Salt Lake.
E
Wow. It is. Southern hospitality is your current favorite of the rotation. Are you still sticking with that?
C
No, this is. This is.
D
Wow.
E
Okay. All right.
C
It's incredible. It's incredible.
E
And with that that we'll see you tomorrow.

Courtney and Mary blend playful sarcasm with genuine pop culture analysis, painting RHORI as a rare “first season goldmine” with authentic mess, shocking real-life consequences, and unbreakable small-town connections. While they gleefully roast lackluster costumes or problematic relationship choices, at the heart is their deep appreciation for the genre and the tangled, interconnected web that makes this first Housewives season so compelling.
