Foreign.
Mary Mahoney
Girls, this is Mary from the bay
Courtney
and it's Jo Ellen from la and we're here to talk Rory.
Mary Mahoney
I will say when people first started saying I was like I don't see it. And then each week I see it more and more and more. The amount of comments we've gotten about this is truly wild. Who did we recently heard about this?
Courtney
Courtney, My best friend, Tamara Judge.
Mary Mahoney
What did she say? What did she say?
Courtney
We had posted our Valley reel about. Yeah, you want to do one? You want to do one?
Mary Mahoney
Everything is all right, you guys. I, I also started singing that to Charlie and he, he thinks it's so funny when I do it then, huh? And he starts giggling hysterically.
Courtney
She sent me the video. It is so freaking cute. He's wearing a chunky sweater like Jax Taylor. What's like one of the best sounds in the world? I would say a baby laughing.
Mary Mahoney
Totally. Like the really, really giggly, like true laughter. Pure joy. Yes.
Courtney
Yeah, just like that. Whether you have kids or not, there's something about that infectious giggle when you know that they think you are the funniest person they have ever met in their lives. All nine months of it.
Mary Mahoney
I'M I'm his number one girl. But yeah, getting back to Tamra, sorry.
Courtney
But Tamara commented just like, side note, you look like Jo Ellen from Real Houses of Rhode Island.
Mary Mahoney
I'm dying to get Joe Ellen on here. I mean, would I have to, like, maybe not be in the interview so you guys have to leave.
Courtney
Mind meld. We would just. And I just said to Tamara, I said, don't blow my cover because it's like, maybe that's my alter ego. Maybe I spent last summer on the east coast and I'm gonna reveal it later.
Mary Mahoney
Oh, my God, it's so good. But yeah, each week I see it more and more. It's.
Courtney
It's wild. I said to you after the first episode, I was like, people are gonna start saying I look like Joellen. Like I said it. I, I knew it was coming. I think she's absolutely stunning. She's gorgeous. I don't think that we look that much alike, but I do understand why people say it.
Mary Mahoney
I, I do. I think it's the lips, it's the hair, even the nose. Hmm.
Courtney
Okay. So everything. The entire face.
Mary Mahoney
I, I. Each week more and more and more.
Courtney
Okay. If we ever get her on, I'll have to message like, what are you wearing for this? And how are you wearing your hair? Just so I could try to single white female her.
Mary Mahoney
Oh, it's so good.
Courtney
I'm like, gary, it's me, co Ellen. We've got a mid season trailer from them that looks to be more insane than the first half, which also kills me, the fact that we're halfway through.
Mary Mahoney
I know we're only on episode six, I think so 12 episodes.
Courtney
Yeah. Yeah. So maybe a two part reunion.
Mary Mahoney
I don't know.
Courtney
This could be an electric reunion. But that mid season trailer, is it Rosie that calls Kelsey a slam pig?
Mary Mahoney
Honestly, so much was happening. What I really took away was that Joe Allen actually has proof via video that Rula does not know about. I think they picked up cameras because Brian gets arrested in October. So I feel like that was like a pickup scene. And then I'm like, why would they have Brian and Rula on? Watch what happens live as the first people. I feel like they should have like kind of let that go a little bit longer to make the audience think that maybe they weren't together. I don't know.
Courtney
But I think we know they're together just because of Instagram.
Mary Mahoney
Sure, sure. Yeah. Liz seems to be like having a mental breakdown. Going after the girls is Audrey's gonna close. I don't Think so.
Courtney
I think it's still open.
Mary Mahoney
Yeah.
Courtney
But when Ashley goes to hug J, she's like, it's okay. It's okay. He's like, wait, Ashley, I'm not gonna cry. She's like, oh, okay. It's like, babe, that's you.
Mary Mahoney
I also, I saw this thing that Dolores and Liz were calling Ashley out, saying she's great in her confessionals, but kind of brought not much to the table when they were filming, which I also think she's just like the Peacekeeper. I've enjoyed her, and I was very hesitant because I don't love when people cross over from different reality TV shows. Only if it's, like, Traitors or House of Villains or something like that. Um, I've enjoyed Ashley. I. But I also think she's an outsider. She's not actually from Rhode Island. I. Cece and Liz go way back. Then, like, Liz and Kelsey go back because that's her friend from high school. I mean, they're very. It feels like a small town. People are connected. Everyone knows everybody. So Ashley is a transplant to Rhode island and only associated by marriage.
Courtney
Well. And only really connected to Rosie. I'm like, were they worried about Rhode Island? Did they bring Ashley? I had to hopefully get another audience. Did they bring Dolores down as a. Because they were worried about the crossover and not getting people to watch this. And the answer is, we will watch any franchise for at least a season.
Mary Mahoney
I'm so happy that Dolores is not on this castle trip. I. It would have been such a disservice for her to go. And I think Liz is doing a fantastic job as the queen bee in being the leader.
Courtney
I. Wait, okay. This is going to be an unpopular opinion. I don't know my thoughts on Liz. There is something she is 100% hiding and not talking about the Gypsy and what goes on in there. There's something about her that feels inauthentic to me, and I can't figure out what it is because there's nothing that she's necessarily done. But it's the way that she's presenting herself that I'm like, huh? There's something I'm not on board with. I could not tell you what it is. I don't have something tangible, but I'm vibing differently with her now.
Mary Mahoney
That is really interesting, because I feel like this week she was very vulnerable. I feel like in her confessionals, she opens up, and I also think she does a really good job of trying to take the girls under her wing and kind of like that Mama bear.
Courtney
Maybe it's the confessional.
Mary Mahoney
I do think there might be something going on in other ways, but I'm scared, too, to say what I think, too.
Courtney
Dino will find you. He's got a particular set of skills. I think what it is, too, is in her confessionals, maybe this is the tangible. She looks up so much, which is a sign of lying to me.
Mary Mahoney
Courtney, that is really funny, because as we've been doing more and more videos, we're learning how to be on video.
Courtney
We're still learning, guys. We're still learning.
Mary Mahoney
Yeah. And I noticed specifically about Liz and how she doesn't look directly into the camera. And then I started thinking, hmm, is there other housewives that do that?
Courtney
She.
Mary Mahoney
She also has, like, a lot of movement in the confessionals, and that stood out to me last night for sure. So it's interesting we're both picking up on that.
Courtney
Well, because you had brought it up, because when we were talking about confessionals, I was like, I think Liz gives good confessionals. And I was talking about what she says. But you were talking about her body language, because you were like, she moves too much. And so then I started looking at that, and then I noticed the eyes, and I'm like, there's too much looking up. What are we looking at? Or are we trying to hide something? I'm going deep with nothing here. Okay, there's nothing. But there was something that I just was like, I'm. There's. You're not giving me something, and I cannot figure out, but I'm. I don't know that I'm vibing with Liz. As hard as I was in the beginning, she was my standout. Episode one. Now it's, like, the top of the charts, easily.
Mary Mahoney
Cece obsessed with Cece and the Crackers. This opening scene where they're all getting the text message from Kelsey that she broke up, and her daughter's walking down, and she's like, it's such a sunny day. And Alicia goes, I'm dead. There was something so silly about the two of them walking, and the daughter's like, la, la, la. It's such a beautiful day. And her mom's like, I'm dead. I got the goss.
Courtney
I also was thinking it was something about Rula, the text that was going to come through. Does this not go with the theory, then, that they were already broken up before the show started?
Mary Mahoney
Courtney, when you said that, I was, like, looking at those boxes. How full was that closet? I mean, at the end of the day, I still think she was in a 10 year relationship with this man. And I'm happy that she decided to leave it. This relationship totally ran its course. They feel like they're very civil. You know what, to me, I'm like, good for you. He should be paying for your rent for a little bit. If that's the deal that you guys have made and you were together for a decade, good for you.
Courtney
Also, she has a boyfriend that we've
Mary Mahoney
already met multiple times.
Courtney
Billie has been there since the beginning. Okay. It's sad because you're mourning your lifestyle at this point. When she was talking about their last night together, we just hugged each other because we knew this was the last time. I was like, you probably hugged Billi three hours before that. It's so funny because you're mourning the lifestyle now, but he's still giving you a lifestyle style. But now it's also very relevant of why she's so mad that Rosie won't tag her because she has to make a living now.
Mary Mahoney
You're so. You're so right. And it's like she clearly got that license before they officially broke up. So she had something to rely on and had something to create an income.
Courtney
Cosmetology school is no joke too. That was like a full time job for me when I was in school was like eight to five every single day. And then I would go work my 6 to 11 so I could pay for. And you're on your feet the whole time. It's actually a pretty taxing job. I know it might seem like it's not really, but you're like on your feet all day and you're actually crouched over sometimes you're leaning over a lot. I really had to have comfortable shoes. Like the days you'd wear like your cute shoes. You're like, I just hope we don't have a lot of clients today.
Mary Mahoney
No, I believe you for sure. Any. Any job that you're on your feet the entire day is taxing and tiring. I believe me as a teacher, I guess.
Courtney
Yeah, right. And you had to have probably you had like three pairs of shoes that were like your go to's because you're like, they're like cute, comfy, but if I'm standing, I'm not wearing a heel.
Mary Mahoney
You guys. Courtney and I are obsessed with the Rothy's clogs. Oh my God, they are so comfortable. They are.
Courtney
We literally amazing. We had convinced people on our trip to go buy them because we couldn't stop talking about them. I like wear them all the time.
Mary Mahoney
Obsessed.
Courtney
All the time. All the time. Okay, so Kelsey also, she is nosy, rosy. Like, you think that nosy Rosie was being kind of a production plant. She's trying to start storylines. And then after we learn about this breakup or officially, like, Kelsey is doing the exact same things that she's accusing Rosie of doing or that they're two sides of the same coin.
Mary Mahoney
I came around to Rosie this week. I actually ended up feeling bad for her.
Courtney
Good.
Mary Mahoney
I, I feel like I understand her a lot better. We sit down with Rosie and Rich, who that Rich. He's a doll. He's definitely going to be in March Madness.
Courtney
I, he's such a cutie and he loves her so much. Those eyes succeed. Wow. Okay, so somebody check this in a year.
Mary Mahoney
But Rosie's, it seems to be developing a lot of anxiety making the show. She's like, flashing back how she's gotten in so many fights with Joelle and Alicia, Kelsey, and she's like, at the end of the day, I'm just a really self conscious person. Like these people that can be out there and be famous and maybe on the inside, we're also super insecure and like, keep a close circle of friends. And she admits to being shy and awkward and she's like, I can't be fake like Jo Ellen. She says the real Rosie is actually super quiet. And I, I, I bought this story. Yeah.
Courtney
I don't think she was being fake in this. I think these things have to feel overwhelming too, because you're coming into a franchise, a brand new franchise that has been going on now for 20 years.
Mary Mahoney
Right. And I also think she just wants to fit in with the group. Yes.
Courtney
Well, yes. And so that's, that's what I mean. So, like, there's this pressure of representing the Real Housewives franchise. We're, we're, we're sharing the minor here right now. Let's, let's dive de. But there's the pressure of a new Bravo franchise. There's the pressure of standing out because you need to make sure that you're a face of the franchise. Then there's also the line of, like, there's already these friendships that run deep. Where do I fit in? I have more of an uphill battle than the other women because my only alliance right now is Ashley. I, But I'm her only alliance too.
Mary Mahoney
Right. They're definitely on the island by themselves. Yeah.
Courtney
So, like, how, yes. How do I fit in with this group?
Mary Mahoney
What? The island of themselves? I said they're definitely on an island by themselves. Of Rhode. Like Rhode Island. So lame.
Courtney
It's so stupid.
Mary Mahoney
I love it.
Courtney
Clip that.
Mary Mahoney
Oh, God.
Courtney
Oh, my God. Rhode Island. No, I get it now.
Mary Mahoney
Yeah.
Courtney
I thought you're talking.
Mary Mahoney
I just wanted. I just wanted you to. To make. No, I wanted you to know what I was talking about.
Courtney
When you said road, I literally thought of street, so I was like, silly. But you know what? You've made a couple of road jokes over the course of this series, and I swear to God, I get it. Five minutes later, I'm like, oh, my God. She meant like the state.
Mary Mahoney
Yeah.
Courtney
And like, what? Remember the first time we were talking about road? I thought you were talking about Hailey Bieber's makeup company. Why would I go there as opposed to the state of Rhode Island? It's in the title of the show. Like, I go everywhere but Rhode Island.
Mary Mahoney
Okay, let's collect ourselves. Let's take a break. I love making big pasta salads, sandwiches, and cozy baked pasta dishes, but a lot of those are carb heavy and they don't fit my macros. But that's why I use Herobread. And it's the especially hero noodles. They taste delicious. The texture is soft, fluffy, satisfying. It's crazy how they've done it because it tastes like a traditional bread or pasta, but it's a healthy swap. So they make sliced breads, buns, tortillas, bagels, and noodles so you can make the meals you love. I use the noodles for the pasta, salads and family dinners, and the tortillas are a quick for a great veggie wrap at lunch. These simple swaps help me hit my fiber goals without overthinking it. You' never guess. It's zero to five net carbs, zero sugars, and tons of fiber. And the taste and texture is on point. HeroBred is offering 10% off your order. I was avoiding our backyard for a long time. It seemed like a daunting task to give it a little makeover until I found Wayfair which made it so easy. We recently created such a fun vibe in our backyard. We ordered an outdoor couch. I ordered a fire pit. It is given the space of refresh it needed. I have like a second living room now with my backyard. We can hang out. It's a comfy space for Charlie to play. We sit around, have our wine on our beautiful couch. I've taken a nap out there. I added some lighting. We have a fire pit now it's A space I want to be. And Wayfair made it so easy to find our style work with our budget. I could not wait to get home from vacation to sleep in my own bed. And it's, it's entirely because of how much I love my Bowen branch sheets. They are life changing. Before my bedding situation was fine, but you know the little things that start to add up. The sheets were pilling the corners, popping off the mattress in the middle of the night. That's the absolute worst. Pillows going flat. And the bed somehow was getting too warm. Nothing terrible, but it just like wasn't great. And then we switched to bowl and branch. You can feel the quality immediately. The sheets are unbelievably soft, very breathable. They don't trap heat, they don't slide around, and they somehow get softer with every wash. Let's talk a little bit about Joe, Ellen and Jen. I'm fascinated by her sister.
Courtney
They don't look anything alike.
Mary Mahoney
Jen does not look like you.
Courtney
No, we, like. I think Jen and I could switch places in life and we're more believable.
Mary Mahoney
Absolutely. The. The sisters, Courtney and Joellen. Jen is interesting. So we. She doesn't drink. She was the favorite child. She's still single. And in this scene where they're shopping, Joellen's talking all about her childhood. And I'm like, but I need more specific things. She kept on talking about her mom was, like, really mean on her and didn't accept her for who she was and all these things. And she wasn't giving examples. So I kind of wasn't buying it. And then we come to find out. It sounds like she went to like, one of those, like, Paris Hilton schools, got sent away.
Courtney
She's not a stabber. The example she gave, I was like, stabber. But yeah, that was wild because, I mean, I obviously didn't know her. We were separated at birth, like, parent trap style. So I didn't know her. But it is kind of crazy. Like, what was she doing that her mom felt the need to send her away?
Mary Mahoney
I'm guessing life in the fast lane, like, probably drinking, maybe dabbling in different things, maybe seeing a bunch of people. But her mom was very serious and sent her away and sounds like it was a very traumatizing situation. And she just. Her mom also doesn't say, like, I love you. And so she really resents her mom for sending her away and not showing her love and how she wants to break the cycle with her own kids. And Jen commends her for that and Jen commends her for confronting her mother and just like, what a different relationship the two women have with the mom. It's kind of crazy.
Courtney
Definitely. And then I started thinking too. Has Joanne been chasing what she thinks is the Perfect daughter for her mom. It seems the way that she also manages her life where she has to be right because she thinks her mom was so wrong in everything that she did. And so that's why she's also a dog with a bone of like, I gotta do this. I gotta do this because I'm right. It doesn't matter if it's going to hurt people's feelings or do whatever. I have to prove I'm right because I was told I wasn't.
Mary Mahoney
I mean, she literally says that.
Courtney
So I've taken the words out of her mouth and put them in my own.
Mary Mahoney
You're twin.
Courtney
It's that twin telepathy thing, you know, like. Yeah, yeah, I get it. Yeah, yeah. Let's talk about Kelsey and Liz packing. The gift that Liz gives Kelsey.
Mary Mahoney
Courtney. I didn't know what it was. It had some weird saying that I didn't even write down because I was like, this is stupid. But. But what was the gift? Was it a coin? A compass?
Courtney
It was a compass, like, to lead north. I thought she was giving her, like, a compact and the meaning was like, look at who you are. And you all.
Mary Mahoney
Like a reflection.
Courtney
Yeah, like a reflection of you. And then she opens it to this saying, and I'm like, I'm not gonna be rude. I'd probably toss this.
Mary Mahoney
Absolutely. I. No, this is not a gift for me. Also, when Liz asked her, I just have one question. Who's gonna DC the lemons for you? That was like a part of their original conversation. But, Courtney, I'm kind of on your team. I think she was already moved out at this point.
Courtney
She also acts as if it was her decision. I don't think it was her decision.
Mary Mahoney
Well, it sounds like he was dating more and more women. He had more than Miami Girl.
Courtney
Well, remember five months with her, five months with Kelsey. Where were the other two?
Mary Mahoney
He found two other women. Four weeks with one, four weeks with the next.
Courtney
Sounds like Cody from Sister Wives, but better for him. Cody needs a lesson from Miami. Big Papa. Wait, also, rip. Rip Big Papa. Did you see that? He passed away like Kim Zolcia.
Mary Mahoney
Yes.
Courtney
Kim Zolcate, the OG Big Papa.
Mary Mahoney
Oh, wow.
Courtney
But also, what was like, weird. This is why the news cycle is so insane and celebrity news. Big Papa has passed. Like, his title is Big Papa as opposed to his name. And it's like Big Papa has passed as a photo of Kim Zolciak. But that's what's crazy about the news cycle is like, rip to this man.
Mary Mahoney
Yeah. That we know is Big papa. No. This is strange that we know this.
Courtney
We shouldn't know a lot of the things that we know. But. But Rip. But I thought it was interesting when she was like, yeah. So then finally I was like, I've got a figure out my life. As if she's, like, forging it alone. Like, we know Billy is the one moving the stuff out.
Mary Mahoney
I know Billy is moving stuff out.
Courtney
But she was like, yeah, he told me he thinks I'm making the right decision. He was like, you can go. Bye. He's like, I've got someone to replace you.
Mary Mahoney
I hope we get to see what her new apartment looks like. Is it just a one bedroom? Is it, like a big, nice space? What is this man paying for?
Courtney
What have we gone from? From luxury to love?
Mary Mahoney
I feel like he got our two bedroom. What do you think? Maybe a condo?
Courtney
Does Billy live there?
Mary Mahoney
No.
Courtney
No. Okay. Is Billy gonna try to move in maybe?
Mary Mahoney
No, Billy has his own money.
Courtney
What does Billy do?
Mary Mahoney
Not as much money. We don't know what Billy does yet.
Courtney
Okay, okay. Well, we know he could be a Chippendales dancer when he wears his vest and bell bottom outfit.
Mary Mahoney
That's so true. He really does look like someone that you would see in Vegas.
Courtney
Yeah.
Mary Mahoney
Yeah. Okay.
Courtney
Okay, let's talk about this girl's trip.
Mary Mahoney
Yes. Alicia. God, she is absolutely hysterical. She goes, oh, my gosh. If it's over 30 minutes, I don't drive myself. I gotta call an Uber. I mean, she literally hit someone. So it's probably the safest thing to do. The girls, they have Rolls Royces to take them. They're going to Seaview Terrace. Who? It's Liz's best friend's friend that owns it. 43,000 square feet, 18 bathrooms, 29 bedrooms. Alicia clearly has to eat some crackers on the car ride over. There's two hot butlers. And then I was very confused. Did Alicia bring the dolls or were the dolls a part of this house?
Courtney
Great question.
Mary Mahoney
I thought she chose to be in the doll room. And I was like, okay, this is fun. Keep on going with her doll thing, whatever. And we find out. Ashley. I had all five American Girl dolls. She seems like she would also.
Courtney
She was in the fairy room. I don't feel like she brought these dolls because when one of the doll's legs fell off and she replaced it, she was too calm. Like, way too calm. But I did have a question, because when they arrived at Liz's or Alicia's or wherever the meeting point was and they got into the Rolls Royce they made it seem like there were only two Rolls Royces, and they never showed as arriving. So then all of a sudden, I was like, where did Rosie go? What car is she in? And then we pull up to Seaview Terrace, and Ashley and Rosie get out, and I'm like, wait, when did Ashley get there? Oh, h. Just a continuity thing.
Mary Mahoney
Right. Well, maybe they, like, made her get in the car once she got there, and she actually drove herself. Oh, right. And Rula has not shown up yet. She has decided not to. It's. It's very interesting because I think they had a hard time getting Rula to come to things. I. She ends up leaving Polo at the beginning. She didn't come to something. This.
Courtney
If the truth is that she was a friend of, maybe she was never going to be because Dolores wasn't there either. Right. So maybe friends of weren't invited. But then last week.
Mary Mahoney
No, she was invited.
Courtney
I guess I'm just wondering if it was. It's like, what's going on there? If she wasn't considered full time at that point, I don't know. But if that was the first Wicked I had heard that Joellen delivered.
Mary Mahoney
Oh,
Courtney
my mom loves using Wicked. Oh, that's the first one I recognized. Somebody might tell me that that happened earlier episodes, but that was the first one I caught.
Mary Mahoney
That's the first one I caught, too.
Courtney
Yeah.
Mary Mahoney
Yeah. Okay.
Courtney
Okay.
Mary Mahoney
So.
Courtney
So Cece is hosting this doll lunch, and unclear why.
Mary Mahoney
Why or if the dolls came from
Courtney
her home, but either way, why?
Mary Mahoney
Well, she just. She loves dolls. Her first doll was the Snow White doll, and she just, like, had it to be perfect, and people come for centuries or billions of years ago to connect with baby dolls.
Courtney
Billions. Billions. When she walked into, she was like, wow, this is like a story. Tale. I don't know what that is.
Mary Mahoney
I am obsessed with her. I love her so, so much, because I don't think she's putting it on at.
Courtney
Not at all.
Mary Mahoney
She didn't know how to say facade this week.
Courtney
And then I thought, even if she knew what the word was, do you think she, like, looked it up later? I think she's so authentically herself. She's like, billy, Billy, Billy. I got this message, and she's, like, reading, and I feel like Billy's like, can you spell the word? And she's like, F, A, C, A, D, E. He's like, it's facade, Alicia.
Mary Mahoney
It's facade. She had a metal detector. At one point, she was on the grass with a metal detector, thinking she was gonna find like buried treasure at this castle.
Courtney
She thought someone left a diamond somewhere. It was a nick, it was a dime. She kept walking. So I think that the dolls might have been at the terrace because they all had high chairs at the table. Him.
Mary Mahoney
So creepy. So creepy.
Courtney
I was surprised. Not a single one of them in a selkie dress. You know those, like, big, poofy, like, dresses that are off the shoulder. The girls would wear them to the tea parties and, like, Vanderpump rules.
Mary Mahoney
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Courtney
I was surprised. Not a single single one of those. Liz was wearing very tall wedges and fell. Yep, she did. But this lunch didn't necessarily make sense to me. This is not enough for me as an event because we're basically having lunch and we're having dinner. What's the event here?
Mary Mahoney
Right. Like, there was no, like, activity or thing to do. They're kind of just stuck at this castle.
Courtney
Exactly. Like, maybe we could have had six metal detectors.
Mary Mahoney
Oh, that would have been the event.
Courtney
Yeah. They took Rolls Royces, they arrived, they had doll lunch. Then they're like, okay, go up into your room until we have to do mask dinner. And then dinner ended and then they were like, okay, everyone's starting to get unready, and then we're done. We're talking shit. But then, like, we're done.
Mary Mahoney
Right? I don't like it when producers, like, put upon things and were, like, forced. Like, the masks felt forced, but the way that they did it was kind of comical. The way the butler came in and Liz was going to deliver this and she is like. Like, I have a mask for each of these women and I feel like this just, like, solidified that, like, Liz is the queen bee and she was deciding who is going to get each mask and why. And Rosie, she gets this big one because she's larger than life, but it's really a facade and we have to go deeper.
Courtney
Faked. Yeah.
Mary Mahoney
And then Ashley, she gets this gold moment where she can't open her mouth because she's always so subdued. Ashley is the Venus mask.
Courtney
So mean. Wasn't.
Mary Mahoney
I've seen this mask before. It's scary. Joe, Ellen, she's the jester, but there's heavier stuff down there. And Kelsey, she gets this dark one because she's closed off, but she has a bright side at the end, since she's left.
Courtney
That was like a lacy front too. Like, literally everyone had a nice mask
Mary Mahoney
but Ashley, I. Alicia, not everything is perfect. And then Liz as the big bad wolf, but she has a sensitive side.
Courtney
People think I'M a wolf in sheep's clothing, but I'm a sheep in wolf's clothing. Okay, let's take a break and come back with the dinner.
Mary Mahoney

But then at the dinner I thought they did a good job opening up and I feel like I truly did learn about each woman. So Jo Ellen kicks off and she talks about how she was sent away. She talks about her and her mom's relationship and she's like. And that's the reason. Like I never start things but I will defend myself to the end of time. I will make it be known that I am bright and like I can't give it up. And that's because of my, my mother.
Courtney
I think the problem I had with this thing is it was kind of the same thing of when we were at the winery and we were doing rumors about each other, right? Like this is the games. Like this is becoming kind of the trauma Olympics again where I'm like, I understand you want us to get to know you guys, but this feels like put upon as an audience member. I like learning about them, but it just, I don't know, it felt weird. Maybe that's. I just can't figure out why I'm turning on Liz.
Mary Mahoney
This would have bothered me if it wasn't a first season. But I feel like we still are getting to know them. So we find out Liz lost her mom at 15 years old. So she has abandonment issues, and she's, like, very hard to get to know, clearly hard for Courtney to get to know. And she's.
Courtney
But that's just it, because I think that she has shared things, and so I feel like she's putting on this weird front. You guys. I think I'm crazy because I don't know why I'm feeling this way, but there's just. Just something off for me.
Mary Mahoney
I mean, maybe you're not wrong. I don't know.
Courtney
I. I mostly am.
Mary Mahoney
Not really true. I just keep on reading dms that are like, this is the first time I agreed with Mary.
Courtney
The first. We've been doing this for so long.
Mary Mahoney
That's the first time I saw it twice this week. I was like, okay, okay,
Courtney
well, maybe they're new listener. Ashley. I. I lost it at this one because she takes off that mask, and she is immediately crying immediate tears, and she's talking about the Bachelor, because when she went on the Bachelor, she knew she was going to have to talk about something hard, but nothing hard has happened to her. It's actually pretty sad that I have to cry because I don't have a sob story and I have nothing to cry about. And one day, someone I know will die.
Mary Mahoney
I know this was truly, truly insane. She was crying because she has nothing to cry about. So good. So good.
Courtney
So funny. So funny.
Mary Mahoney
This was the moment where I decided to like Rosie. You know, she's like, I was always, like, taught to be bigger and to pretend. And, you know, she has a lot of trauma from her mother as well, and she's like. But at the end of the day, I'm, like, very shy. I have a lot of anxiety, and, you know, that's who I truly am. And I believed her.
Courtney
I want to meet her mom.
Mary Mahoney
Me too.
Courtney
I want to know. I want to know. I actually think you and Rosie would get along. The Catholic thing, I feel. I feel like you'd meet her and you'd be like, oh, my God, I love her.
Mary Mahoney
We're besties. Yeah.
Courtney
I think. I think we could. I think we could convert you. You're kind of a nosy Rosie. You have to know everything.
Mary Mahoney
I am such a nosy Rosie. I want the goss. And I don't want to write it out. I don't want to leave a text message. I want to talk about it on the phone.
Courtney
Say it. Forget it.
Mary Mahoney
Right. Regret it.
Courtney
Dorinda Medley. Tyler Perry,
Mary Mahoney
Mary Mahoney.
Courtney
Yeah, exactly. So, Kelsey, she's sensitive about her relationship. Her ex still pays for her Things. Her health insurance, her car insurance. He's going to pay the rent. It was like a marriage. And I mean, in truth, it kind of was a common law marriage. It was 10 years of her life. She went from living with her parents to living with him. She has been a kept woman, taken care of her entire life. But her also pretending like she has to figure it out, as if she's not going to rely on Billy for everything.
Mary Mahoney
I need to know the timeline. I need to know when she started dating Billy. Like, was she allowed to do that? There's just way more to the story, and I hope at the reunion she's honest about how things.
Courtney
Kelsey is so stunning. She is so beautiful. And it's actually rude because I've never figured out how to do a winged eyeliner. And so when I see women with a great winged eyeliner, I am immediately jealous.
Mary Mahoney
How old is she?
Courtney
I think she's like 31, you guys.
Mary Mahoney
Finding out Alicia was 41 this week, I was shocked and I don't know why. She has like a 9 year old. Like I was.
Courtney
How old do you think she was?
Mary Mahoney
Way older.
Courtney
Yeah.
Mary Mahoney
Not because she looks bad or anything like that. I just am so confused. When a housewife is my age.
Courtney
I think this cast of housewives is actually relatively young. I could tell you the ages if you'd like. Yeah. Yes, please.
Mary Mahoney
I'd love that.
Courtney
Okay, so Kelsey Swanson, 31.
Mary Mahoney
You were right.
Courtney
Uhhuh. Rosie. 34.
Mary Mahoney
Wait, I feel like I should guess. Okay, okay.
Courtney
How old do you think Rosie is?
Mary Mahoney
34. Oh my.
Courtney
Nailed it. Okay, Ashley, I.
Mary Mahoney
34.
Courtney
37. Joellen,
Mary Mahoney
38.
Courtney
Yes. Alicia. Guess again.
Mary Mahoney
41.
Courtney
Nailed it.
Mary Mahoney
God, you are good.
Courtney
You are good. Okay, rula.
Mary Mahoney
Ooh. Okay. 46. 46. Okay. Wow. Because she has like a five year old.
Courtney
Okay. Okay. And then Liz,
Mary Mahoney
52.
Courtney
55.
Mary Mahoney
Oh, so she's older than her husband.
Courtney
Studio 54.
Mary Mahoney
A little coug.
Courtney
It was filmed last summer though, right? Right. No, so I'm saying. So she could be just. Well, I guess that she's still older, though. I think you're right. Even if it's a few months. Okay, back to the show. Rosie and Kelsey, they still have this because Rosie in her confessional is like, so instead of it being her boyfriend, now she has a real sugar daddy.
Mary Mahoney
I mean, it's kind of true.
Courtney
It's just like, funny because I think for Rosie, I think a lot of the way that she, like, banters with people and like the way that she jokes around is kind of kind of Like, Mark from Ladies of London is. It's like, a lot of jokey insult humor, which doesn't always go well, but you have to have, like, the right personality to do that with.
Mary Mahoney
Yeah.
Courtney
Or like, someone who can take the joke, but Kelsey's not gonna take the joke for Rosie. I also think Kelsey's in competition with Rosie because they're the youngest cast.
Mary Mahoney
Well, I think Kelsey was very rude with her backhanded compliment. Well, Rosie, I think that's the first genuine thing that came out of your mouth, but. Oh, no, no, no. I meant that in a nice way. I was like, oh, that. That's what I felt like. They had a nice dinner and a nice moment, and we learned more about Rosie, and then she kind of put it. And I felt bad for Rosie in this moment.
Courtney
First up, before we go into this, though, I just have to. We have to talk about Cece being homeless.
Mary Mahoney
This is like, Bethany Liz, you are not. You were never homeless. You come from a good family. And she's like, no, we were. We were. My dad left us. We didn't have a home. I'm like, well, I guess you were then homeless.
Courtney
Not toothless. She's like, but you didn't live on the streets. She's like, but I could have.
Mary Mahoney
If.
Courtney
If my grandparents didn't take me in. Like, we could have. Like, I had to share a room with my mom. The car.
Mary Mahoney
The car bed.
Courtney
Yeah. Okay, so back to this Rosie Kelsey combo, right? Rosie says to Kelsey, after she says the genuine thing, I think she's like, I'm gonna bite my tongue on this. And I'm just gonna say, well, I. I appreciate that. And at the boat last week, Rosie had told Ashley, we are friends, and I don't feel like you stood up for me. I also think she was kind of like, Ashley something here. We're on a show, and we do have to create drama. Like, this isn't the Bachelor. You can cry, but I'm not sure what we're crying about. And so Ashley, I interjects, and she sticks up for Rosie. Okay, that was kind of rude. And then they're all defending Kelsey.
Mary Mahoney
Yeah, I. I felt bad for Ashley in this moment. And then.
Courtney
What's it called when a horse is dead?
Mary Mahoney
Beating a dead horse.
Courtney
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's like, I think what we're doing here, like, let's move on. Let's move on. And I did feel bad for Rosie because she does have to bite her tongue with the group, so it's like, she can't have A conversation where she's going to get snapped at. She can't stand up for herself because she's going to get snapped at. So, like, what can she do?
Mary Mahoney
No, this was a sad moment. And then the way that Kelsey walked in her room later because she sees Ashley Eye and Rosie talking. She can hear them whispering. She just struts herself in, and Kelsey is, like, ready to go. She's like, you lie about everything. The square footage of your. Your house, you lie about your job, you lie about your relationships. And Rosie's literally like, I was bleeding out my butt. Do you think I'd rather say that?
Courtney
I'd rather say I got fired for an affair, not wearing diapers to work and having to go on medical leave. But this is where I was like, okay, so Kelsey is actually jealous of Rosie. Rosie has that vibe to. Rosie is married, which Rosie points out. Oh, Kelsey, where's your home? You don't have one. Oh, Kelsey, where's your husband? You don't have one. Oh, where's your job? Oh, you've had a license for a year. You know, like, I've been working way longer. And I felt jealousy from Kelsey where she was like, I wish that I had someone who wanted to, like, build me a home. Who cares about the square footage? They keep showing us the foundation being built.
Mary Mahoney
They are very obsessed with her building because I think think they think it's not gonna happen, but who cares? Well, if you're. If you're bragging about it, but I
Courtney
think Rosie does think it's gonna happen. I think it's really Rich that's probably making the decisions on that. I think in Rosie's mind, she does think it. She's like, you want to build 5, 000 square feet? Okay. Okay. Like, the foundation has been built there. We see it in the ground. They've mapped it out. It's coming, but it might just be coming slower than normal.
Mary Mahoney
Sure. They might need to do a couple Frank Sinatra gigs so they can afford it.
Courtney
And it's not impersonating. It's just singing the songs. Okay, remember, remember, because you know Rich, he could do it all on his own. Those eyes.
Mary Mahoney
I surprised he could go far. We need to. We haven't even seen a performance by him. Do you think we're gonna get one if we got a performance like, at the finale?
Courtney
Jesse Solomon, I might have to drop you. If Rich starts, he's like, I did it my way. I was like, yes, you did, Rich. You did do it your way. I built the house. I got the pool. I got the girl. I did it my way.
Mary Mahoney
Okay, I think on that note we should get going.
Courtney
Fine. There's the door. All right. We'll be back tomorrow with summer house, all the news, everything that's happened since the weekend. Can't wait to dissect. See you then.
Mary Mahoney
