Oh, man, what a fun trip. So I went to Boston for the France Norway game on Friday. I was excited. I thought Haaland was gonna play. They sat him because it didn't really matter. For them, it was a game for first for who would win their group stage. But Norway's just stoked to make it to the next round. That I think they didn't really care about placement. They just were like, we're already going to the round of 32. Let's sit our strongest players. We want to make sure that they're ready for the next round. So I did have remove my ass bun that I had wore in honor of him.

me tell you one of the great things about being a woman at the World Cup. The lines are much shorter at the bathroom in the stadium than they are for the men's. Like, it was one of those, like, yeah. See how it feels, guys.

I didn't think about the ratio.

It was really fun. But I will tell you, Gillette, they. Well, you have to call it Boston Stadium because all the stadiums also did not sponsor FIFA of. But they are sticklers for a bag. You guys, I had my small purse, okay? This lady ran. She ran after me.

After I walked by and said, I have a card. Put your purse on this card to make sure it fits. The purse literally fits, except for it had two side tags. Do you know what I mean? Like, where you would, like, clip into it. And she said, well, those don't fit, and you can't bend them down. So she tried to get me to check that bag, and I was like, this is literally standard purse size. This is standard purse size. This is literally a concert bag. She's like, nope, you need to get rid of it. You need to get rid of it. Like, I'm not getting rid of my Longchamp bag. Are you serious? So what did I do? I outsmarted her. I had a friend who had, like, a. Like, a clear bag, and I was like, give me your bag right now. I'm Gonna go take it out. Then I had a hat that was, like, clipped on, too. So I put my hat on. I put everything in my clear bag, and I folded up my Longchamp and put it in my friend's pocket, and I said, walk in front of me.

And then I just thought, gotcha. That was, like, a big win because it was on principle, like, this bag fits. But you're telling me an edge that is literally just decorative on this bag, at some point can't go in.

What do they think I'm doing? This is a girl tax, by the way, because men are not wearing small purses. What do you guys think I'm gonna do, Right? Let's go look up the stats of who does bad things. I'm just saying, less women than men. It just feels rude. Okay? And so it was like, on principle that I was getting my bag in, and my one friend was like, I told you not to bring that bag. I said, I googled it.

There's nothing worse than being the person that brings the wrong bag to the stadium. Because then everyone has to wait to go in because you're, like, supposed to put it in the locker, blah, blah, blah. And then you're kind of worried about your bag the whole time, and you're like, I brought the bag because I needed the bag. I needed the shit in the bag. That's why I brought the bag.

Yes. So I guess technically, yes, I'm in the wrong because of, like, the small, little extra centimeter provided on my bag. But in principle, just let me go.

Well. And at that point, they could have looked inside the bag.

Well. And at that point, you're telling me I can bring a gallon bag, a large, clear gallon bag, which I could have put the purse into.

Right, Right.

It's not fair. Life isn't fair, though.

It's the stadium rules. Yeah.

Yes. But anyways, then after the game, which was so fun, I feel so lucky to get to go to a World cup game. France ended up winning. My friend, he was born in France, a huge France fan. He said it was one of the best days of his life. We just had, like, the best time. It was so fun that I convinced the rest to change their flights from Saturday to Sunday. And I said, we gotta have one more day here.

You did it. I mean, you went all that way. Why? Exactly.

I was like, guys, think of how much fun we could have watching the games in Boston. One of my friends had never been. I said, you haven't been on the freedom trail. I said, well, I'm gonna walk you on that trail to other bars while we watch the other games. And so it was just really fun because everyone there, too, was, like, vibing, and we had a great time. And I, you know, I. I love a cracker that's a white man with blonde hair.

Too bad you couldn't have stayed for Capo Sunday.

I know. Knowing, too, that there's two Sinatra Sunday shows now. It was a bummer, but there were things that had to be done back here, so I had to go. But great weekend. City of Boston was great. Minus that one lady doing her job, but still had a blast. Now I do have to walk back something that I had said on the pod last week.

We do need to talk about this. And it was a great idea at that time before we got this new information. Tell everybody the new information.

So, as you guys know from the Valley recap, I thought maybe it would be a good idea to add Sandoval as a friend of. To laugh at. Not a mere two hours later do TMZ reports come out about him and Victoria and this tumultuous relationship that they have. Now, the first thing is that Tom called the police. There was abuse from Victoria. He was able to get a temporary restraining order. Her dad was also involved. And then she was also ordered to leave the house, which is weird because I thought that it was her house he moved into. So I'm, like, texting you. I'm like, oh, no. Oh, no. And not only that, I had mentioned him on the whiteboard one too. I was like, we never talk about Sandoval. And then twice in one day.

I feel like you were having a premonition, but you got. The wires got crossed.

Yes, if you will.

Like, you were feeling like Tom Sandoval, something's coming about him that he was fresh on your mind, and so you incorporated him into the pod. But then things got weird.

Yeah. So then after that, this video gets released, and it's the fire pit of their. In their backyard. And Tom is yelling. There's a scene happening. He goes over to Victoria, who's then somewhat cowering and yelling at her, like, are you recording me? Are you recording me? And her dad gets up and kind of tries to pull him back, and he pushes the dad onto the fire pit, and the dad, thankfully, like, gets out. It looks, hopefully not too much had happened to him, but in the same way, I'm like, okay, is the dad gonna get a restraining order on Tom? And apparently he hasn't yet. We're recording this Monday Morning. So I don't know if anything has since happened, but I'm like, this is crazy. And after I just said that, yes,

the timing was not ideal. We had to put in, like an editor's note. We're like, we do not want Tom Sandoval on the Valley. We didn't see that video. I mean, the video is pretty insane. It's pretty long. And it's from their backyard. And, you know, at first he's. Yeah. Yelling at Victoria and I'm. I didn't read the heading. And I'm like, who's this man trying to help in this fight? And I'm kind of confused as I'm watching it. And then all of a sudden I see the man go into the fire pit. I'm like, oh, my God, this is crazy. Then Tom runs in the house. The man runs into the house. Then I read the article. I'm like, that was her dad. I was like, what is happening? Tom went to the house the next

But the whole thing just feels too much. And I don't want to talk about Tom.

Moving on. So Bravo and Cocktails is reporting. It says happy Summer house filming week. To those who celebrate, Cass will be staying home the first weekend. Production doesn't want cast slash newbie leaks right away. Kyle, Carl, Jesse, Mia Bailey will be full time in the house. Lindsay will be in and out like last year, but full time. Expect five to six newbies and Sierra appearances throughout. KJ has decided not to return, but possible he can film a scene or two. And Dara was only part of the show because of kj, so she's out. Ben not asked back as he didn't quite gel with the cast. I'm hearing girls names. Jamie and Jolie, another girl friend of MIA's. Then two to three guys connected with Jesse, Carl and Kyle. So I don't know. I. This feels right. What do you think?

Well, I think it's weird that the executive from the article that was in Variety or Deadline the other week said that Sierra is the star and she's just going to pop in. That doesn't feel right to me. I assume just after Love island starts, she'll be there.

That doesn't make sense to me. If they want to be backing Sierra so badly. Ben is interesting. Ben wasn't asked back not because he didn't gel with the cast. He's literally hanging out with the cast all the time. But maybe because he had a girlfriend the whole time. Kj. I'm bummed that he's not coming back, but I think if he's focusing on himself, that's okay. Kind of makes sense for Dara, though. I wouldn't mind seeing her just because I feel like she already has connections with the cast there. But these new people. Okay, bring it. Because they're supposed to be the future of the show.

I want to have a couple of things. I have other things that are in the works. And then I love that Mia's going to bring a friend because I think Mia has been a great addition. So I have to assume that her circle is just as fabulous. And I'm excited for this next season of. Speaking of summer house, over the weekend they were in the Hamptons for that palm tree festival. I don't know if you saw too Alex. Earl was on this brand trip for a palm tree festival and she was staying at the summer house. House.

I did notice that and it made me giggle because Courtney thinks they hook up.

Listen, I'm not saying they're in a full relationship, but I think that they have been horizontal or know each other horizontally. Okay. I'm just saying I think that there could be something there and that we're not ever gonna find out. Cause we're gonna have a single Kyle season. But I do think that he has been single with her.

I feel like she should. It seemingly makes sense. Like on Next Gen. Remember at one point she couldn't go on one of the trips because she was in the Hamptons. She's friends with Jesse. Jesse and her have been in Tiktoks Together. Like, she's friends with the cast. Wouldn't be surprised. I do love the, like, kind of silly crossovers we get when a Bravo star appears and not their own show.

It is interesting because I can't figure out if staying home means that they're not doing their annual 4th of July party and they're staying in whatever the new home is or if they're staying home, AKA stay at home in the city. You guys are coming out next week because we don't want there to be anything that happens. It feels tough to Covid them for a weekend in a fourth of July.

You know, it's kind of interesting that they announce other casts, but they never announce summer houses. So why do they keep it a secret? Is it also because maybe they're unsure who is full time at this point and they want to see how the first couple weekends are gelling. Like, for instance, with Levi, they kind of decided she was going to be

Right. But at what point do they decide that?

But she's in the cast photo as a cast member. So it just. It doesn't all make sense. This is like something I would love as like a docu series about Bravo. How they make these decisions, how and not just summer house, housewives, friends of what that casting process really looks like, the whole thing. It would be really interesting to follow that.

okay too, to not know who the cast is. It kind of makes it fun and exciting to watch through. Like, I think we knew it would make sense for Amanda not to come back. My friend and I were talking about it. It'd be fun to have like a sports themed one. I would.

I felt bad for Rula. Joellen would not stop, and she was trying to catch her in a lie. And I think Rula learned a lot of information on that stage that she is not privy to. The timeline of her own marriage, the timeline of Brian's divorce, and the timeline of Brian's other partner.

Right. When he's like, I haven't been with that partner since. I'm like, oh, my God, this is just so uncomfortable. The problem is, too, is I'm like, I want to feel bad for Rula. But then she also goes so below the belt with her insults towards. But I'm like, that's just her, like, lashing out now. Jo Ellen, I understand you have a need to be right because Gary said it. You said it. You want to be proven that you're not a liar. Babe, we all know you're not lying. We know Brian's the liar. Now, look, did I love all the information she had? Of course I did. Who has the time? Joelle. And she's unemployed, thanks to Brian. But who has the time to do that much digging? It's actually a little insane that she took all that time and energy just to prove she's right. And at what point, even though you've admitted you're not a girl's girl, at what point have you gone too far and you can't keep, like, kicking the person while they're down?

Because if she had this much time to get this much information on Rula, then you're telling me that all she knows as a police officer told her there was a police report about Rosie being in the car, but Joellen couldn't find that information. Joellen is the person who could find a needle in the haystack.

Rosie also had a great reunion overall. I feel like she kept it very calm. She was trying to help Rula. At one point, she was unbiased. And then I feel like at the end of it, too, she was like, you know what, Kelsey, I'd like to move forward with you. And that's a smart housewife. Like, we have to move the story along. We have to be in the same room together. It will work better if you guys come together at this point. I think Rosie knows that.

Yeah. I also thought it was funny too, when Kelsey's like, you know, somebody told me about the mortgages, and she's like, let me guess, it was Gary, Joellen's husband, who works in mortgage. Like, is that your source first? I think she learned in, like, real time. She was like, oh, they actually have nothing on me, so I'm just gonna let it. And I think she was thinking too, like, Joellen, like, again, you have all the info, but you're looking a little cuckoo, too. Continually coming after and after. And if you want to get into Rula and you want to get to her, you need to lead with compassion, because you just, like, hitting her with facts, hitting her when she's down, and then at the end being like, oh, no, rule of this isn't at you. It's really about Brian. And you're just kind of collateral damage because you're married to him. It's yuck. And if you don't lead with compassion, then you're not going to get through because all you're doing is making her hate you more because she said, yeah, give me the info now. I don't want it now. Yeah, Joellen definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. And it's clear that she's talking to the girlfriend, partner, mistress all the time. Come to find out you have a wife at home that's gonna be on a reality TV show with my wife. That's insane. Also, the mistress today on her stories.

And I went a little creepy there because I'm like, it's not. These are storylines. We've storylines, real life, but things we've seen before is scary.

Well, it leads you to keep asking the question, why is she staying with Brian? What is motivating her? And she never really says that. It isn't even like, I'm staying because of the kids. She hasn't really defined why she's staying with him. She admitted that they both have their own prenups.

She does say in the season now, obviously, obviously, she's finding out more information after, but it's like, divorce is a big deal. She doesn't want to get divorced. I want to dive deeper into are they married or not? So, Joe, Ellen brings out the receipts. Rula says he was divorced in 2010. I met him in 2013. We were married in 2016. She was pregnant with her kid in February of 2016. They both have prenups. Joellen says not true. Brian also says not true because he says that he was divorced September of 2012.

Like, even when Andy says too, you know, there was a housewife who was signing things, not knowing what she was doing. You didn't make yourself look very smart because you're bored. Billy is suggesting that you guys have monthly meetings to go over the finances. Go over it, he says, I used to cc her on emails, but she didn't want it.

I thought it was also interesting that Ashley. I jumped in, was like, billy is such a good guy, and he would always leave you with at least half. And we come to find out there's a trust. It does feel like she's set up and he's not going to screw her. Even though they're not married.

And she's being like, old school. I just want my name on the deed. And so then I started thinking, too, because when he pulled out that paperwork for her to sign, and he was like, all I want is for you to drive Selena once or twice to dance if you can have up to 50% of my shares. I'm curious how his business is tied up, because it's obviously a family business, so it's not just his. And so where is his family involved? And, like, what does he have ownership in? And then I thought too, is, like, when it comes to the house, is it Billy's name on the deed or is it the family? The reason it's in a trust for Alicia is because it'll go towards Alicia as Selena's mother. And these are questions that Alicia should be answering because she should know the answers to this. He is wanting to take care of her, but she's actually doing herself a disservice by not learning just the basics too Some highlights. So.

I'm frustrated on her behalf, but she's doing it to herself. Go in, go figure it out, and go drive your daughter once or twice a week just so that you can have access to the 50 series. Then she's like, well, I don't really want it. Like, so do you want to be a kept woman or not? Because I don't actually know the pathway you're looking for, and that's bothering me. And you're going to have an oyster cracker collab. Come on. Where do you think that money's going to go?

Where is the cracker collab? That should have happened by now. Well, I hope it actually comes to fruition.

Do you think that Liz was pissed that Alicia got to do the final toast?

[A]

Absolutely. I. I look back at the promos, and it's like Liz is in the middle holding the clam. To be honest, I was shocked that Liz was sitting right next to Andy. I feel like Rula could have taken that if she had shown up to more things, she would have. I also liked Rula's explanation for not going to filming. She was basically admitting, like, I was so stressed out I was making myself sick because I was dealing with Brian all summer. Which that is valid. I mean, I can't even imagine.

Absolutely not. It is really sad. And everyone raised their hand when they thought she was actually sick because it was so stress induced.

[A]

I know.

[B]

I felt terrible for her in that regard.

[A]

Yeah.

[B]

But, yeah, I was surprised. Like, Liz said maybe two words in this episode. It's a good point. So does she come back next season? I don't know if she liked her experience.

They're all coming back. I think it's the exact same cast, and maybe they add in a couple more people.

A couple more? We're already at seven.

Oh, God, I don't know. See, I like how we've changed what the friend of is. So speaking of a friend of. You know, Dolores blamed Rosie for why she didn't film as much. She tried to say that it was Rosie who had a problem with it. And Rosie's like, I'm sorry. Do you think I have that much pull? I can't even go get my briefing case. It's like, dolores, maybe they didn't need you.

Yeah, that. That's an interesting excuse. Yeah.

Well, at least Dolores got a mention in the reunion because she thought she should have been invited to the reunion too. I wanted to circle back onto Kelsey. I wanted to talk about these escort rumors.

[A]

She's like, they were people I was hanging out with. I'm like, so that seems strange.

[B]

I think it was, like an actual Boston escort that was hanging around the same crew as me, and then she was putting my head on her body. Never sold any holes for money.

It feels like she definitely knew the person and probably who she thinks it

[B]

is, but it was never found out who it was, even though she went to the state barracks to make a report for harassment.

And they probably got scared and stopped. But you're telling me her ex, Paul

[B]

Abdul's ex, that was crazy, too.

Like I say at Paula's house, Paula must be freaky. Why? Because I think Kelsey's freaky.

You think Kelsey's freaky? It's no rumor. They got rid of that tumor. Andy was, like, shocked. She's like, I asked if they could wait for the brain surgery to be put on pause until after this pageant. And Andy's like, sorry, you asked to delay brain surgery. I wanted her to be like, but see, I won, so it was all worth it. What's happening? And then they're like, so can we talk about your arrangement with the ex boyfriend? Who they don't name too. They beep his name out. She was like, well, I knew about the other girl we met, and then we had an arrangement that we wouldn't post with our boyfriend so that the other one would. Would not get upset about it.

He had two separate lives, and he had two relationships. They both knew about their relationships, and that was the arrangement.

She was only jealous at the beginning, but then it was, like, out of sight, out of mind.

Yeah, I think Kelsey has a lot

of skeletons, and maybe that's who the Girls on the other couch were referring to as well. They want a little bit more about the timeline too. And Kelsey skirts around it a lot, though you.

You could tell she's lying. She's covering something up. And I need people break up and get back together all the time. I'm sure she would get in fights with him and leave and go to her parents house and then come back and then he was gone half the year anyways. So she's probably just staying there. They could have been broken up. Who knows?

I wish you would just say when I first applied to this show two, three years ago, which he didn't know, it was housewives. And then once he figured out it was Housewives, he said, I don't think so. And I was like, I wish you could just say he was in my casting tapes. By the time the show came to fruition, we were already broken up.

Right? No, because we know Jo Ellen got the job when she was pregnant with her baby and filming the first season. I think her baby is almost a year. So that happened quite a long time ago.

Also the fact that she met her ex at the tanning salon that Jo Ellen worked at. Jo Ellen is such a millennial. Of course she worked there. Of course she probably had the Playboy bunny stickers. Of course she probably had the double heart one where you could either put the full heart on you or just the outline to get that tan on your hip. Of course she did. Did gtl.

Let's go over what everybody learned from and what they would maybe want to change for this season.

I like what Ashley said. She's like, I wish I was less nervous, and I would have been a little bit more fun, and I could be more of a mediator. I think she'll bring that this second season, which I think that is constructive criticism about yourself, Rosie.

[B]

So Rosie wouldn't call her or ask Kelsey if she was a polygamist. And. And I like this. Of course, this is only gonna last for like an episode or two, but I like that she was like, moving forward, I would love for us to be in the same room. And Kelsey wants that too. And she thinks it's hard to make friends on the show. So if they wanted to progress their relationship off camera, then she's all for it. And so is Rosie's. I did notice that the five of them, minus Rula and Liz, that were at some concert together, like, a week or two ago. And so I'm like, there is progress within the group. I think that they are learning it's an ensemble show. I do honestly wonder if Liz will be back on her own accord, not fired, but because she didn't like her portrayal. She really hasn't posted a ton about the show because I think she's gotten a lot of criticism because her thing was, I try to control, I try to react, I try to police, and I try to care less. All four things.

Right? No. I also think it's interesting that, like, Rosie chose to make it about Kelsey when the other people tried to make it more

about themselves.

Maybe she could have said, I shouldn't have called her a slam pig. When Ashley I said she wanted to call Brian a slam pig, I giggled. Okay.

He wishes she, you know, shut things down harder and sooner, which she should have done that.

But I didn't even know if it would have worked.

I mean, it doesn't appear that way at this reunion.

No. And then Joellen was like, well, maybe I would have changed the way that I went towards Rula, and maybe I would have been more private. Like, you could have done any of that on the stage today. But then this was interesting. She's like, I'd have been a better mediator, and then I would have made sure that I had Liz's back more. She is so obsessed with Liz in this motherly role for her. She does not want Liz mad at her. I feel like she texted Liz after the reunion, was like, can we grab drinks? Are you okay? Is everything okay with us? Like, can we move forward? She's really concerned about her relationship with.

With Liz, and I think Alicia is too.

You think so?

I do. I think they are a little bit scared of her. And, you know, we wrap things up with our girl Alicia. Her only thing that she wishes is she wore more makeup because of her face scar. And it's from her dog, you guys. The dog bit her a little bit, so she just wishes she wore more makeup and she wouldn't change anything else. That was so perfect. That, like, sums her up as a person so well.

Andy's like, that's all. She's like, wouldn't change a thing. And then Andy brings out Dirty Shirley's with lemon wedges that Bill will have to pick them out for Kelsey. But Liz is like, hold on, Andy, because as the matriarch of the group, I want to present you with this mask. And it's not a facility facade. It's not a facade. It's just this represents us, but not representing a facade. There's seven points on it because you're the king of Rhode Island. And he thinks maybe it'll go in the clubhouse and you could see Liz's wheels turning. Like, okay, okay. I'm still the star. I'm still the star. I'm still the star. But he said maybe. Is it in there?

I have not seen it yet. They must be filming, like, any day now, too. Yeah.

Because didn't Jo Ellen host the four or Liz. One of them hosted the 4th of July party.

I think it was Joe Allen. Yeah.

Rey and so dirty Shirley. Alicia, can you lead us in a toast? And Liz is like, that's fine, Alicia, do it. And Alicia, I'm so proud of us girls. I love all you guys. And, Andy, thank you for giving us this opportunity. Yeah. Yeah. Overall, great season. All of them need to come back, including Rula, including Bryant.

I will miss them so much. This was such an epic first season. I have zero notes. I'm absolutely obsessed. My goal, when I go to Boston, I'm there for 10 days. I want to do Capo Sunday, one day. I want to go to pizza Mama. Twin Oaks. I got to see the sites. I want to go to Cranston. I. I want to do all the things. And Audrey's.
