A
Welcome back to two Judgy Girls. This is Mary from the Bay, and
B
it's Courtney from la. It's Thursday and we're all right Give me. Give me one.
A
Everything is all right the way that, like, we've transitioned the song. It doesn't sound anything like the song anymore, but it's how we sing it. I'm all right Everything is all right
B
like, we're doing our cover of the song that was created by men who drive trucks.
A
Remember when Tom Sandoval sang Sang Lightning in a Bottle, and you were mesmerized by him, and you were like, he should be our March Madness winner. Do you remember that?
B
It was mere months before Scandal was.
A
I know.
B
Happening. Okay. Mere months. How little I know. Nobody. Okay. I'm sorry. I have apologized time after time for gaslighting people. I've said I sincerely apologize. It was the sparkle pants and it was the mustache. It was just that one song, Courtney.
A
I'll give it to you. It was mesmerizing. It was like lightning in a bottle. I cannot. And you, like, you wanted to get up and dance, you know, you wanted to be in the moment. I. I felt it.
B
And then he was gaslighting us because of the lightning.
A
You're so right. That bolt necklace. If we only knew.
B
God, we were so. We had it so good. We were all young, dumb, innocent. And now we're weathered, we're wary, we're weary. We don't know what to do anymore. Every day I wake up, I go, God, is there more news? Who's gonna disappoint us this week? And the answer is always someone.
A
There's so much news to go over. But also, how was the birthday?
B
Oh, thank you for asking. The birthday was fantastic. I think I did a really good kickoff to the next decade of my life. Got dinner with friends. We had a great time. There's nothing better than going to a Mexican restaurant on Cinco de Mayo. They have this live mariachi band. They do flaming margaritas, and it's in them. You get a little strawberry mango blended Margi carcass in. Yeah, but it's hollowed out, filled with Bacardi 151 that they light on fire for you. So you're just like, talk about mesmerized.
A
Did you get a buzz from it?
B
Not really.
A
I had one margarita Skinny Marg on Cinco de Mayo. And there was also a mariachi band where I was and me and my friend, all of a sudden, we both get, like, a hot flash at the same time. And I'M like, it's the margarita. We were, like, freaking out. I'm like, are you hot now? Are you hot? I'm like, oh, my God. We, like, literally became buzzed at the exact same time. This was like a chaotic, chaotic dinner because the mariachi band was so loud. You were screaming the whole time.
B
Yeah, that's. We were, too. Yeah. It was really hard to have conversations. Like, at the end of the table, I was like, it's so good to see you. I'll text you. Totally.
A
No, I mean, it was just me and her and Charlie, and I'm like, screaming across.
B
He loves the noise.
A
He was in the mix. He was a story. These girls across the table of five flirting with him the whole time. I'm like, please, would you like to take him? And he could sit with you guys for the rest of the.
B
You're, like, pushing the high chair closer to them. No, he's really good with strangers.
A
He is.
B
Mama's drinking a Margie.
A
He is at that bow on Friday. Some stranger held him for, like, 20 minutes. It was great.
B
Anyway, let's talk some hot Topics. Your first point. It's already been debunked, but do you want to talk about it? Because I think it's pretty funny.
A
Okay. There was rumors swirling around that Leann Rimes is being floated for Beverly Hills. And I loved this idea and the reason why I loved it, Brandi Glanville connection as well. I just thought, like, what if I went wild in my head? What if Kyle Richards and Leigh Ann started dating because she was, like, into country singers? I jumped really far and fast.
B
Sure.
A
But what was Brandy's tweet? It was pretty funny.
B
It was basically saying, single white female. Like, wow. Well, she did everything else I did. Why not have the Housewives? It made me laugh, though. Cause I was like, point to Brandi. That's pretty funny. But Leanne did deny it this morning, saying, please watch me on Nashville911. There's no housewife here. I didn't like this idea. It felt a little circle of the drain. It's kind of like if they brought Nicolette Sheridan on now, it's not as fun without Denise and Lisa Rinna there to have this potential feud. I didn't like it. But when we talk Beverly Hills for tomorrow, we have a lot to say, so I feel like we can expand on this there.
A
Agreed. Agreed.
B
A lot of summer house stuff. So if you're looking for your summer house, we got to talk about a lot. Because it feels like since Tuesday, there's Stuff happening now. Can I go with my biggest theory, though?
A
Yes.
B
My biggest theory here. Amanda and west are done. It's over. It's done.
A
And you came to this conclusion based on his podcast.
B
So there was this clip released from West's podcast that he was talking about these life lessons. Tell us more about what he was saying. And then I can tell you from there.
A
Him and his co host were talking about the leak and he was speaking basically taking a lot of ownership. It appeared in this. He's like, it caused a lot of damage and doing the reunion was like, step one. It's the darkest form of therapy. He's like, I don't want to be gimmicky, but at the end of the day, if you can't learn and try better, then what's the point? And he's like, I have to do better from this and I have a lot to learn. And he's just trying to turn it into a positive.
B
You have to learn not to F your mates. Mrs. That seems tough. Like, it feels like that should be pretty instinctual. So that to me was a rehearsed answer. However, what I took from that, though, was that this is over because he didn't say anything about Amanda in this clip. Now, I don't listen to the podcast. I would assume that if there was something Amanda focused that someone would have clipped it at some point to show this off. This clip is from his podcast page itself. They posted it, but to me, it read, okay, I fucked up. I effed my mates. Mrs. I can't do that again. He's angling because he wants to come back to the show, like, completely this career. He is worried about his status and he knows that in order to continue to try to mend these relationships that he's got to throw Amanda to the wayside. That's how I took it. So I say, like, no evidence, just vibes on the fact that they're over. But this is because I hardcore red in between every little nook cranny line of this clip that I'm like, oh, this is done. We didn't see any spottings of them. The last spotting is technically the day after the reunion when they were getting coffee. It to me just feels like, oh, after the reunion, he realized how much he jeopardized everything and is now going to take ownership of his choices. I'm putting quotes around this.
A
Well, KJ spoke to it at Watch what happens live a little bit too. He reads Wes text message on the air. It was pretty wild and Andy was Like no, no, no, no, no, no. Like read it first yourself and if you want to read it out loud, you can. And he does. Wes says, I wanted to thank you for your articulation and kindness yesterday despite being hurt. I've been off social and lost touch of how much hurt there was. I'm incredibly sorry. I also sending you love in regards to your mental health. You shared a lot yesterday and I know it might not carry much weight now but I'm always rooting for the best for you. I know it will take some time but whenever you feel like you're ready, lunch or a phone call would mean a lot. In the spirit of healing, no need to respond, take your time.
B
What did you take from that?
A
Okay. I think he has lost touch of the situation and how big of a deal it is because he's been off social media. I mean he literally admitted that I was same about how I think we're going to learn a lot about KJ at the reunion with his mental health and things like that and get the behind the scenes of maybe why he's so tired all the time. Also he had these really cute promo right now for Panera Bread with his mom. I started crying in the commercial.
B
He has one with Mia and then one with his mom and he's just so genuine. After he read this text, you could see how much the scandal has affected him. He had to sit there for a minute and reflect. He obviously was very close with Wes. This has really taken a toll on him and I just think he feels so deeply and he's so genuine and now that he's read that text, which is crazy because he's like, I've only had one unread text in my phone and this was after the reunion. It's been sitting there for a couple of weeks and I just felt so sad for him because you could also see Dara was in the audience and she was so worried about him because I think that they went back after that episode and probably cried over it because she said after, after the reunion they had gone off to Mexico and they were crying, going over everything and just talking about it. They feel so deeply about this situation and how easily it probably all could have been avoided. And after we watched that episode of KJ telling us how excited he is to have this brotherhood, how much this has messed him up, like what were they thinking?
A
I, I really do think west is going to win everyone's hearts back over. I'm predicting this. Not Ciara obviously, but I feel like KJ might be able to move forward with him.
B
I think the dynamic of the house will really set things in stone. So I think if Amanda isn't there, I could see a path forward with people, especially when you're stuck in a space with them, at some point, you probably do need to talk. I think there are learnings from Scandal. That's also why I can sometimes look at the situation a little differently in the scope of a scandal, is because so much happened with scandal, and that was, like, the first of its kind in how big it was and the level of betrayal. And when you look at it like this, it's almost you. You can see what happened with Vanderpump Rules and how it all went downhill after the fact because so many people were trying to play a different part. So when you look at it from a show perspective, it's like, okay, well, if west is coming back, there has to be maybe not forgiveness, but a way to move forward. I don't know what it is, but I start to think is like, there's a strategy behind it too. Can Kyle and Wes move forward from this? There's just so many different potential paths for them to take. And I do wonder, if west were to come back and Amanda didn't, would things be different if Wes and Amanda are done? My mind's racing just thinking about it. I thought the text, though, was good.
A
He is really great with his words. The way he spoke on his podcast, the way that he even confronted the nudes on his podcast, he was like, oh, yeah, the nudes leaked. They're definitely mines. From my old apartment. I used to get out of a sauna. They're medical. I'm not even hard in them. I'm hoping to get a manscape partnership from it. He's very vulnerable.
B
I will not say that Wes is good with his words as we've seen him in confrontation and past reunion experiences. However, I do think that when he's not in a confrontational situation, he can be likable. He's disarming, he's charming. It's alarming. We keep saying that, but I thought that the text. I want to take it at face value. I know people want to say, oh, he's just trying to get back in good graces. And I'm sure that is an ulterior motive of his. Like, I don't doubt that he has an uphill battle, all of his cast members, because he felt the need to lie about this. But I do hope that this was a good text and KJ took that and Was like, okay, I'm glad that he said these things. Whether it was or not is. Is a. Is different. But I do think that the words themselves, like, I feel like kj, he. The reason he was taking it so hard was because he felt that right.
A
Well. And Wes didn't know this was going to be live read on.
B
Watch what happens live.
A
Like, it's kind of crazy.
B
KJ's like, so I have another unread text message right now that I do not want to open. I love that he did read it on the air because I think KJ's also said too. My texts have been open. Nobody messaged me. And so Wes taking a. Learning from that is like, well, I better say something. And I do think that the reunion probably really was a learning experience. Again, you don't need to learn. Not to your friends, girlfriends, wives, exes. You know, that should be easy. Like, that should be textbook. But at the same time, when everyone is in your face telling you how wrong you are. And if KJ did take a different approach, especially with him, which it sounds like he might have, maybe there was a moment just saying, like, why?
A
Yeah, you know, what you did is so wrong. You can never take it back. You guys did it multiple times. No one will be able to trust you again. But I guess we can be around each other at the same time, tease things that there's like, this Bailey and Wes being handsy moment, which I'm very curious about. They're gonna talk about that at the reunion.
B
I thought they were talking about the moment of a couple of episodes ago when it was west and Bailey. There's, like, two moments, one in the kitchen and the one in the room, and he's, like, pulling her hair, and she's like, oh, I like that. Oh, I thought that's what he's talking about.
A
I think there's more to the story.
B
Oh, well, you think Bailey and West hooked up. She effed her friends. Mr.
A
I have no. I don't think that. I'm just. There's a story there.
B
Would Carl and Bailey be a good couple? No. I just think too is like, there's a disappointment route that I think goes further than an anger route. And kj, to me, is somebody who you're like, you never want to disappoint kj, because that is really upsetting. If KJ was disappointed in me, I would be groveling. I'm so sorry. I don't even know what I did. We don't even know each other, kj. But I know you're upset with me and I'm disappoint and I. I'm so sorry. I. I don't know what I did, but it's like I want to just protect him. The text also too, like you said, I don't. I. There could be levels of manipulation. I'm not denying that. But I also think too is like west is in this situation. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. If he didn't send KJ a text and KJ said, yeah, haven't heard from him yet. We would be hearing about that if he did text him and it was something different. I. I also think too is that west does really like his friends.
A
I think west is the guy's guy and he has a big group of friends. He has, I bet, buddies from grade school, high school, college. He's invited. He's been to millions of weddings. He is someone that is infectious. You know, you want to be around him. I mean, Sierra said it, Amanda is feeling it. So he's. Yeah.
B
And I think he is kind of like Carl where they're people pleasers too. And they do not want people mad. They want people to love them completely.
A
Completely.
B
So I think that the fact that this has messed around with who he is as a person has really thrown him off more so than the act itself. It also just makes me think too that moment when they kissed at the Yankees game. I keep thinking about that kiss because it looked so unnatural. And not that it was the kiss itself unnatural, but maybe we kept saying like, oh, because it's west and Amanda kissing. And then I think too, it's like, did they do that out in public? Were they kissing out in public?
A
I honestly think at the end of the day they are potentially maybe dating and seeing if they could be more still. Yeah.
B
Yeah.
A
And maybe. And maybe maybe now it's already over. Like the more didn't happen.
B
Yeah. I don't know because it's like he very much cared about her. He told us that on watch what happens live. So maybe it was. They were going to try. He's for the streets. I can't imagine that he was like, yeah, this is the person that I want to do this with. Unless it got to the point of where it was like, what are we doing? We have to go all in at this point because now it's something more. We've hooked up more multiple times. I don't. You guys, I think about this way too much. It is consuming and I don't know a single one of these people yes, we have met them, and yes, we've hung out with them, but we do not know them. And yet we're using our shared minor in psychology to try to figure out this relationship. But at the end of the day, I am just saying it is done based on nothing.
A
Wait, let's take a break because there's even more news. Speaking of my favorite person in the world, Carl was honored last night. He got the community hero award for the release foundation. Kyle went. It looks like Bailey went.
B
KJ was there.
A
Oh, his shirt was so cute. Like, I love. I love Carl.
B
This is such a big deal, too. I think that's so great for Carl. Obviously, they made all that money from Carl's a mess, and so he was honored there. And out of everything, the silver lining of this whole scandal is how much these friendships have grown and become more tight. And I think really made them start to think about, like, what is important in my life here. And it's these friendships.
A
I just, you know, I love my
B
Carl, but we know.
A
Speaking of. Because Lindsay and Michael Rappaport are at it. So Michael Rapaport puts up this post basically saying my opinion that she's got to let go of the Carl storyline. And it wasn't even that controversial. He. He really built it up the way he said it.
B
Respectfully, respectfully. But why is he commenting? Doesn't he have a plate of food to shovel in his mouth?
A
It doesn't he have a podcast? I mean, he's a big summer house pro person. He's a big Bravo person. He's been on watch what happens live multiple times. And then Lindsay fires back, don't be a little bitch. Turn on your comments. I am happy to be at war with you. You're an old white guy. I'm a single mother. She is so activated. And she's like, and you know what? Me and Carl have a conversation that is long overdue. So keep watching. And I'm going to be around for a long time. Time. I was like, this is the weirdest fight, to be honest.
B
I loved it, though. I loved her report. But the main thing I took from that retort was that last sentence. You said that Carl and I have a long overdue conversation coming up. And I said on the summer house pod the other day, like, I hope that they could talk. I think that they would really be able to heal and move on. And I'm so glad that we're going to see that. Which then makes sense why we have two episodes left, I guess because it's trying to figure out what are we doing for this last weekend because we're already on Friday or Saturday, whatever it is. I just think too is like, Michael Rapaport is annoying. Completely just annoying. He retorts back to, did you see that?
A
Like, him and his wife.
B
Yeah, like I said respectfully.
A
I just feel like his comment wasn't crazy and he was trying to get her activated and she took the bait.
B
I think you do need to just admit that you are not a Lindsay Hubbard stand.
A
I like Lindsay. She looks stunning in her rebuttal when she was last week wearing that cute pink outfit. I. I like her in a lot of ways. And I can't wait for them to sit down and she can't talk about it anymore because it's like he isn't talking about it anymore. She's the one that brings it up all the time.
B
I just want them to be best friends again. Their friendship was just so good. And even before the summer, do you remember that sandwich tour they went on and Carl was on it, and they've done that Uber Eats ad together. Now there is space for them to become friends. I literally think, too, if all Carl said was, I'm honestly sorry that you felt blindsided and that I did this on tv. I feel like if he said that to her and she heard those words, that would help her move on because she's like, you embarrass me so badly on national tv. And then he's having these great seasons after the fact. You are the villain in my story, and you're the hero in so many other people's.
A
Well, we'll have to see what happens after this. Okay, let's talk about other good news, because Sierra is an Old Navy commercial, and it has Paris. It has Kathy and Rob, our March Madness winner.
B
He'll still never respond to our freaking message. Rob, acknowledge us.
A
It's also really funny to watch it because none of them filmed it together.
B
It's like that sonic ad with Rob and Lisa Rinna.
A
I hate that. I'm like, you guys can't all come together for one day for this major ad.
B
It just feels so AI in a way.
A
It's like. Yeah. Or impersonal.
B
Yeah, we. We can see the green screen, people.
A
Yeah. It just feels lame. Yeah. Yeah.
B
But good for Sierra. I mean, she is raking it in. And as she should be. Like, Ariana. She took advantage of this moment. So she also posted the day after the Met too, this Instagram carousel. And her caption was, I'm back, Amanda. It's like, sad. It's sad. She's like, testing the waters, coming back onto social media and she posts a story and it's a mirror selfie and she writes in the bottom corner. Boo. Now people are like, she's writing, boo. I'm like, no, she's not. She's literally coming back to me, like, boo, I'm back. And it's a photo for confessionals of in the city. She's back to work, and I think she was testing the waters and the water said, get the out of here. Because she deleted it pretty fast.
A
Oh, she deleted it. It's like, turn the comments off. Don't get the messages about it. You can leave it.
B
I think it's going to be really tough. And I only know it was in the city confessionals too, because Danielle posted the same photo the next day, so. Oh, okay. Back to work sort of thing. What are the questions going to be for her and her confessionals?
A
It's just there's so many unanswered questions. We're not going to know until the reunion happens.
B
I know, I know. Also too, is like, Kyle posted. So somebody posted a thread that was kind of insinuating, like, reactive abuse or whatever. And Kyle likes it. And he also. I know Kyle. It's like, I think Kyle's mad at Amanda. I think he's mad at her. But he also posts from the beach that day. It's a photo of him and Sierra and she's holding a lemon cello. Lover boy. And what does he do? Markets it.
A
I mean, good for him. I mean, the Carl's. The Carl's a mess. Merch is going out. It took them much longer than they anticipated, but it's happening. You'll have it for summer people.
B
A sweatshirt in summer. It's like wearing suede to a water gun fight, you know? But it is, like, really crazy. Just the people you watch take advantage of this and God, they really. I'm just so mad. They really had it all. Like, this clip popped up the other day. It was this clip from Maria Taylor, who was on the reality hot seat. She's a commentator for NFL. She's talking about how she, like, loves west and west could really be an alternate. And he killed it in the reality hot seat and on the sale gate. And I just thought, you idiot.
A
Yeah, everything had it all. They both did. Amanda was thriving. Everyone was so excited that she finally left Kyle, that she got the courage. She was getting ad after ad after ad. Also, why didn't you guys just take this to the grave? But it was because of that one video. Put down the blinds. Put down the blinds. You're in New York City. Everyone can see through my windows too. When I change, I put down the blinds.
B
It's like Adele once said, we could have had it all and they fucking blew it. And it is going to be tough for her because unfortunately for her, it is harder for women in a misogynistic world. I know. And even the things that I see about her online now, from that dinner and the way that she was smirking and people think she was doing it on purpose and you had said you think it was like a nervous reaction from her. Everyone's allowed their opinion, but the vitriol is, like, crazy that I.
A
It's tough.
B
It's tough to see.
A
I do think it was a nervous reaction. When I fight with Michael, I get nervous and I laugh.
B
We're seeing what we see and everyone's interpretation is completely different. And as Tamara, my best friend, said, that's my opinion.
A
Okay, one last thing. This is sad. So Missy from Ladies of London, her ex fiance passed away. J. Cole. They have a child together. It was like an accident on holiday. Very sad.
B
Feeling sad. Really sad.
A
I felt.
B
I feel sad for her with her brother.
A
I know. I was thinking this. I was thinking the same thing, like.
B
And sending our love to Missy is so sad. Also, please announce a season two for the show.
A
They have to be having the season two around the corner. And I don't think that Margot's gonna come.
B
Andy had said on his show, I think earlier in the week, I'm not head of programming. I don't know what's going on with that. Which people then take to me like, it's not coming back. I'm like, he really isn't the head of programming. But they put so much money behind Ladies of London and the marketing behind it. And like, doing that event in New York, I would assume flying a lot of them to New York because they are London based. Except for your bestie, Margot. But I have to assume a season two is coming. I know the numbers weren't there, but streaming is so different.
A
I feel like Micah was kind of giving us a little hint that there is going to be more to come. And I think she had dinner with Martha and Kimmy the other day. So I feel like they're probably getting back into it. I bet it picks up in June.
B
You know, I think it's also smart, too, for these shows to have time in between. And that will bring me to the Valley. Because when you have some time to breathe, to reflect, to see maybe audience reaction of how people are viewing you, that you're like, maybe I do need to Course correct. As opposed to picking up the cameras right away, letting people rest and then have a reprieve and then come back.
A
Right.
B
Ready to go. The amount of, like, instant gratification that we all request, and I'm including myself in this over and over. Like, if you were not seeing the show, we're like, what's going on on social media? Okay, are the cameras coming back? And some of these story lines, you're like, oh, well, we have to follow this. But sometimes rest would be really helpful, I think, personally.
A
Well, how long did you want them to rest for?
B
Ladies of London or the Valley?
A
The Valley.
B
Six months. Nia and Kristin deserve six months to recover from giving birth. I know that they're sharing a lot of their real life story, but also, like you've said too, is like, those first couple months, your hormones are all over the place. You don't feel like yourself. You are just kind of trying to survive. And I feel bad for these new moms who are trying to work and also be with their kids and. And try to figure that whole thing out. They deserved a little longer. What do you think?
A
Of course.
B
Of course.
A
Of course. I think in the United States, you should get a year off, but that's not gonna happen. Canada, they do that for a year, which is fantastic.
B
A lot of European countries do too. For me, it was when Kristin was talking about having her first period and how terrible for that. She's literally wearing diapers. I was like, this feels not fair. And so I've asked before, should there be a bereavement clause? Should there be a pregnancy clause that, like, you don't have to come back right away? But a lot of them are like, this is my job, and if I don't do it, I am forgettable, I am replaceable. So I have to. So you're pushing your body to the limit sometimes because you're worried about the status of your career.
A
Yeah. I mean, the show wasn't going to stop for them, and it didn't. It kept going.
B
It.
A
It kept going. And we went to Tom Tom for brunch.
B
Oh, you mean pump. We're not even showing the Tom Tom sign. We're showing the pump sign.
A
Oh, really? I did not notice that Zach's spray tan was fresh for this. Schwartz is behind the bar. Janet and Jason walk in. They had to drive so far to get to this brunch.
B
It is over the hill. Maybe 30. I. I just. We're going to West Hollywood, guys. And let's be real, the show, even though it's called the Valley, all the fun people are in West Hollywood.
A
Great.
B
Zach, Jesse, Michelle, that's all the fun people. Those are the only people I want to watch, to be honest.
A
Okay, so we meet shorts girl Kiana, who he met the last night of Shorts and Sandy's, which Courtney was there on the last night. Did you see this budding romance in person?
B
It could have been me, you guys. I'm too old. No, I did not see this. But I need Kiana to admit that she is with him for clout, though, because it almost feels like they're pretending that Kiana didn't know who Schwartz was when she went to his bar the last night it was closing. Feels kind of put upon that she's now dating him. Also. She seems, like, very accomplished. What are you doing with this man?
A
So I went on her Instagram. She has 13,000 followers. She does have some modeling. I think it was Vogue, but not us.
B
It was general. That was huge. Maybe that's what she was going to London for.
A
She isn't super active on social media either. I'm kind of interested by her. I thought they were cute. I think she got a lot of hate online. And I'm like, it's just, like, not that deep. Like, are you guys surprised that he's dating a younger model? I feel like they were vibing.
B
How could you tell, though, with the sunglasses on?
A
It was brunch. It was the. They were outside. I don't know why everyone hated her so much.
B
Well, I think she also said too, she was, like, really nervous filming, so she, like, kept her sunglasses on, but she kept, like, pulling them down a little, like, to make eye contact. Like when Zach did his confessional, like, I'm not as skinny as her, but I could wear a pair of sunglasses.
A
It made me laugh.
B
It made me start to think, actually, those sunglasses are pretty cute. And then I was like, I wonder if she got them on Revolve.
A
She probably did, actually. That's really funny because Bailey's dress, the leopard dress you were talking about, it's on Revolve.
B
Oh, really?
A
It's on sale.
B
Oh, I love that. Wait, I need to go on. I love Revolve. I'm going to Vegas tomorrow, and I got a couple of things from Revolve, so I'm excited to debut them in Vegas. Whether it's a girls night, a date, or one of those. I Need to look hot, but not like, I tried two hard moments, which is my entire life. Revolve always has it. So go to Revolve.comJuggy and use the code JUDGY. J u d g e y for 15 off your first order. Fast shipping, easy returns. It just works. That's Revolve.comJuggy. you can shop our faves, too. We've hearted things that we've liked. And then you can get 15 off your first order. This offer ends May 21, so don't miss out. Let's take a break and come back. Before we leave the brunch. Okay. We are having Janet and Zach, and I think Zach understands the reality game. And Zach realizes we have to find a path forward. And I don't like Janet. But we've decided last week at this pool party that we can be in the same room together. It can be surface level because if we don't move on, we can't have this. This show. Zach is going to try to save the sinking ship. Mark my words.
A
I think that's a smart strategy. And I mean, so then Kristen, Lacy, and Nia, they all meet up at the costume shop. I was legit scared by the worker. The face paint, did you notice that they, like, quickly scanned to them? I was like, this is frightening, Larry.
B
He was in the background the whole time waiting for his moment, like, do you want me to get you a wig? You want me to get you a crown? Like, he was like, I think this will look great on you. It was like the martini mic of the costume shop.
A
It was so, so creepy. Also, we found out Lacy wears a wig every single day.
B
That was shocking to me.
A
Agreed. Very Kim Zak of her. But Lacy's like, I don't know if I'm going to go. And everyone's like, oh, it's because of Michelle. And she's like, no, it's not Michelle. It's Janet. She owes me an apology and she was digging shit up on me and she was trying to get everyone to gang up on me. And Nia's like, I feel the same way. I don't want to go with Janet either, but we have to. You know, this is.
B
This is our job.
A
So. Yeah, so you should definitely come. And I think Lacy was smart to not take the train down and just have, like, limited interaction.
B
I'm surprised, though, that she didn't meet at, like, the Irvine stop and pop on the train and go down with the rest of them. It did feel like a little bit of A cop out.
A
I love this train. This is a great train.
B
Oh, the surfliner is like, fantastic. You literally are on the beach for like 20 minutes of it. So clean.
A
You can drink. Spacious. You can have like a table. Scorch.
B
I kept thinking too. I was like, oh, the West Hollywood people, though, having to drive to the Burbank stop, so they're driving further away so everybody can get on the train together. I was like, we could just leave from Union Station. Go closer too. But no, a lot of suitcases for what seems like a two to three day trip. Now, Kristen and Nia, sure, I understand bringing a lot of suitcases from them, but the rest of them, unclear. Britney, Brittany, everything you have is pulled polyester folded up nonsense. And you have two large suitcases. What's in there? Also, she can't drink right now. Yeah.
A
Because before the surgery.
B
No, I know. Remember when you asked like, oh, she wasn't drinking at that dinner.
A
Right.
B
Is it because though of things with Jax, like, can she not drink on camera? And right now it's the mommy makeover.
A
But I think you're on to something there.
B
Okay.
A
Just like a whole custody thing.
B
Okay.
A
Things that made me giggle, though. Was everyone packing? Isabella is like, yeah, Mommy, that's too sexy. I got like a very Avery Singer vibe from that.
B
When Michelle was doing her push push ups in the beginning of the episode too. And Isabella gets on her back and she just goes down to the ground. I like this is what Aaron was talking about. Michelle. Just kidding. God, I love Michelle so much. She's really had such a good season.
A
Completely.
B
Completely.
A
Danny in those ripped jeans. Get rid of those. Luke in the cargo shorts. Michael loves a cargo short. Kristen is kind of filling in Luke about. I talked to Zach yesterday on the phone and he told me he is not friends with Janet. He says he doesn't trust her and she is crazy. And this trip is just going to be very, very interesting. And then we. We get on the train and Janet is like, full court press on Zach. Like, I will plan your birthday. We're gonna be best friends. Let's have a Jack and Jill. You know, just really overcompensating. And I think Zach was handling it super well. He was like, I can feel Kristen's dagger eyes on me. But I'm not gonna be straight up rude to Janet, but I'm not agreeing serene with anything. And I think Kristen, it was too much like, say what you mean and. And mean what you say. He's just trying to move the story along. He's not going to be mad at Jenna forever. He's not going to be best friends with her, but he could sit on the train and enjoy a beverage with her.
B
Also, Janet's clearly being silly. Like, is she doing too much? Yes. But is she trying to, like, joke around with him so that they can have silly banter and it. Have a good time on the trip? Yes. Kristin, you're literally in the row in front of her talking shit on her. Maybe that's an unpopular opinion, but you need to get over it. Or don't come on the trip, because what's happening is no resolution. This cast needs to be reminded that an ensemble show only works when people start to move forward.
A
They really are gonna have to revamp this situation, and I think revamping means Danny and Nia have to go as well as Janet and Jason.
B
They both gotta go. Okay. Interesting.
A
Danny repulsed me this week on the train when Nia is trying to eat, holding the baby, and he is getting a massage. I. I genuinely wanted to barf. And then the way he was speaking to her at the house. Get me a swaddle. It was so aggressive. It was so disgusting. Disgusting. And he's like, why do we have the nanny if she's not even helping? He just wants a trad wife. He wants her to do literally everything. And I just couldn't be more repulsed by this. He's doing this on camera. Imagine what happens off camera. Her social media is very interesting. She is homeschooling them. She is a working mother.
B
Are her kids old enough to be in school yet?
A
I mean, maybe the oldest, but they're not going to preschool.
B
It doesn't seem like they're working actors, those children. So I wonder if she has to school them because she's on set with them. I don't know. I want Nia to move back to the Valley, and I want Danny to stay at Bookle Mountain. I'm going to say something controversial here, and I think that Danny wants children until he gets a son.
A
But he has a son.
B
Yeah, but I think he wants another son. He has three girls and one son. This is my take on it. This is my. My controversial opinion. I'm just gonna leave it at that. When Nia was trying to eat a burrito and bounce that baby on the train, and she said, hey, Daniel, could you take the baby? And he said, well, I'm gonna get a coffee. And she was like, well, I'm trying to eat. And he says, well, I want a coffee. Strap the baby on and get the coffee. Now, I will say not to give him any sort of credit, but why do they have the nanny? I understand that Nia has to breastfeed. It sounds like the baby did not take the bottle before the trip, so obviously the baby needs to be with them. But I could also see too is like, you want me to put the kid down. I understand that, but also, don't we have our nanny here that could maybe do that so that we can be out here and film? I. I do see that, but I feel like he has. He has a little anger issue and I think he's gross. And I don't like the way that he was acting towards her at the amusement park when he was like, well, it feels like you wanted to be with me as being a little performative. I know.
A
I feel like the walls came down this episode and this is exactly who he really is. And maybe that's why Janet is, like, so obsessed with taking him down.
B
Well, Janet has the Jo Ellen. I'm right.
A
You mean co Ellen.
B
No, that would be me. But she's now Jortany. And I'm not co Ellen. She's Jortany. But. But it's the thing where they have to be right? And it. They are letting maybe just like I said my piece and now I need to go. But they're like, no, no, no. I'm so right. This is my mission. Right?
A
Right.
B
But Danny is just. And even the comment too, and he was like, oh, like, we're definitely going to be sleeping together tonight. And he is like, the baby's gonna be with us. And then Lala chimes in like, the baby won't even know. And Danny's like, I know. I'm like, ew. Do you not think you're miked up, you sicko?
A
Everything was disgusting me about him. Everything. He was not helpful. He felt like he didn't want to be around the baby. I felt like he was shaming her. Eating multiple times. When she's a breastfeeding mother, your mouth feels like the Sahara desert when you're breastfeeding. You're constantly thirsty. You cannot get enough water. People are starving when they breastfeed. That didn't happen to me.
B
But also, who gives a shit if she's eating? She had a breakfast burrito on the train and she's eating a sandwich for lunch.
A
Shut up.
B
Just because you drink your calories, Danny, and you can't drink them on this trip because the cameras there doesn't mean that Nia can't have a fucking sandwich. You guys were so lucky when Jax Taylor was on this show because it made you all look like saints. Even Danny in a scandal. Jax was worse.
A
Yeah, no, I. I just. I really don't want to see any more of Danny. I. I can't respect him at all. I can't even imagine how he's gonna confront this situation at the reunion because there's just, like, no forgiveness for this. Because I think he's doing this all the time and she does everything.
B
Yeah, because he wants a son. I think what pissed me off, too, is his performative comment at the. The amusement park. And when she's like, oh, everybody's over there, they're all eating, and he's like, well, they're drinking. And then he comes up, he's like, hey, guys. I'm like, oh, formative. Like, you are doing yourself no favors. I don't even want to focus on them anymore because it's like, Nia already has it hard enough as a new mom again and a mom of four. I don't want to watch her suffering and trying to also save this marriage. Like, yeah, maybe she is being a little performative because she's trying to save you, you dipshit. My levels are raising.
A
I also, once again, I love what they've been showing about Michelle all season. Like, she just sold this seven million dollar house. Maybe. Do you think her and Dre met because she sold him a house?
B
What pissed me off, too, is that Tom was talking about the housing. Right?
A
Where the.
B
Where were they?
A
They're so far from the beach.
B
Do you think they got dropped at the Salinas drop and then they drove inward?
A
I feel like that house is. Or. Well, the three houses are very far away.
B
Yeah. So Tom was giving the rooms, telling us everywhere. He literally forgets Michelle, who's co hosting the trip. And I was like, where's Britney's boyfriend? Feels weird that he would miss this trip.
A
Oh, good point.
B
And then the rooms. I was like, jesse, Michelle does deserve this room, but I don't need Lala to be fighting the battle. Kristen brought a. A friend to watch Kaya. And then obviously Danny and Nia have their nanny. Like, were there four rooms in that house?
A
I have no idea.
B
I know, I know. Were they saying separate? I just kept thinking about this. So the llama is just as depressed as Tom Schwartz, it seems. And why are we spending so much time on Tom Schwartz between.
A
So, okay, I did not mind Tom's
B
girlfriends, remember an episode or two ago, he's single,
A
Right.
B
Here she is.
A
Lala just does not make sense. I appreciated the conversation with Michelle and Lala. I was bawling, crying. And Michelle has been so vulnerable this season, talking about her mother, talking about dating, talking about Isabella, talking about getting back on her feet. Like she has totally capped, activated me. I'm obsessed with her.
B
Yeah.
A
But something about Lala having this conversation,
B
it's funny because I actually thought this was the most likable that Lala has been for me. For the fact of them being able to bond over their parents passing. This actually felt like a real moment for me for Lala, that I was like, wow. When she doesn't try to over produce, she can actually have a really nice vulnerable moment. And I think that those were really raw and real moments from the two of them and them being able to connect.
A
I loved Michelle. I loved her talking about it. She was like, I think my mom sends me signs. I think she visits my dreams. And she's like, my. My life has gotten better since she's passed away. So I know she's looking up over me. The montage at the end with her mother just sobbing, sobbing.
B
So on the after show, she was talking about signs and she said the other day, she's like, this is kind of crazy. I was in my closet and I had this really nice photo of my mom in the closet. I was trying to figure out what to wear. I couldn't figure. And my lights started flickering and my house started to vibrate. It felt like. And I literally said, is that you? And the lights were flickering. And she was like, okay, well if it's you, flicker twice. And the lights flickered twice. And she's like. So I was standing there just like talking out loud and I really felt like she was there. And I got the chills. I'm getting him right now, like, talking about. And then Lala was talking about her dad on the after show too. And it just. It really felt like a nice moment from both of them to be able to be vulnerable and talk about this.
A
No, this show is deep. It's heavy. You're watching marriage struggles. You're watching people have newborns. You're watching people get divorced.
B
We're watching them go on the roller coaster twice too. Okay. There are things that are going on that sometimes feel a little too real. And then they make us go not once on the roller coaster with some of the Cats cast, but twice, which is like, what are we doing here, you guys? There's a professional camera crew in there, but there's a GoPro in somebody's hand. There's iPhone footage from it. We don't need any of this. You guys tricked us in the trailer, okay? You made it seem like it was explosive on the roller coaster, and instead, it looked like just a fun little night out.
A
I've never seen this Belmont park either.
B
I think it's by, like, the SeaWorld area. It's in Mission Beach.
A
Oh, so this is just. They're at Mission Beach. Yeah. Oh, okay.
B
Yeah, that.
A
I. I guess I didn't realize it was called Belmont Park. Got it. So I haven't been here.
B
I just worry about the Valley because I don't know where we're going from here, and the story lines for me aren't enough. I don't want to watch a lot of these characters.
A
Yeah. I'm just not interested.
B
And yet here we are talking about it for, like, an hour.
A
I know.
B
We're all right. Give me one and take us out.
A
I'm all right. Everything is all right. Bye.
