Welcome back to part two. We need to talk a little bit too about Scott and Mia. Because when they were putting on the pda, I was like, wait, do I like Scott now?
Courtney
I think I like him. Are they together in real time? I don't know. But someone did find his Instagram. You can't find it because he uses a lot of different like emoji type letters to spell out Scotty.
Dara
Oh, okay.
Courtney
You can't search Scott in her following. And I've already forgotten What? The page is right?
Dara
No, I was vibing with them. I wasn't vibing when Mia came to the car and Kyle was pretend dry humping her. I found that quite strange.
Courtney
So I gotta say about these weird relationships in this house. Kyle's just feeling himself. And that's single.
Dara
He is thriving with Amanda not around this weekend. He can't get to that boat fast enough. He's going to be able to drink as much as he wants.
Courtney
He has a lover boy in hand in the car. He is ready to party.
Dara
He's like, sierra, want to go down this fake jet ski and I could pull you on it. Let's have a blast.
Courtney
Also, I miss when they have these boat days because I think that they've gotten into such a formula. Friday dinner out, Saturday day party costume. Saturday night. Whoever is free, let's go out where we can't film. Kyle's DJing at Common Ground East. Where is he not DJing? Mary Surpludge. And so then Sunday they wake up, they might have a group breakfast and then they leave. And it's like a rinse and repeat because it just makes sense.
Dara
The group breakfast they always have to have. Now that is a new part of the formula debrief. Yeah.
Courtney
And so when they have this boat day where it's just the cast, to me, that feels fun. They kept doing these drone shots of the boat and they're on kind of this like pontoon style boat. And what's crazy is the amount of people on that boat because the cast is on the outside back side where the sun is the back of the boat. And then the covered part is where all the crew is. And there's a ton of crew and cameras. It's just like a very brief shot, but I definitely noticed how many people there are. It felt like it was like three to one.
Dara
I believe that. Just like all the camera crew, the sound people, the actual people, man in
Courtney
the boat below deck, people. Exactly. Like there were so many people on that boat.
Dara
Yeah. Jesse is rocking his soft bar gear. He is wearing the merch as he is an investor and Carl is like, let's take a selfie. I'm gonna make you proud. Like, this is gonna be a great investment for you. That has to feel like so much pressure. You took your friend's money and you hope that they get it back. It's a lot of pressure.
Courtney
I actually think Jesse's like very well off.
Dara
I completely agree with you.
Courtney
Like, I think he has a pretty, pretty decent size amount in his bank account trust Fund.
Dara
Trust fund.
Courtney
Yes. Like he's got money and so I'd love to know how much he invested. What do you think? I was thinking 15K.
Dara
Yeah, I've seen 10 to 15.
Courtney
Yeah. And so when he did that, I think he was like, I believe in Carl and I want him to know that I'm so happy of like where the trajectory of his life has gone and Kyle has become. Carl's eating chicken salad. He is so mad that Kyle couldn't give anything. And the fact that this was a big storyline just a couple of weeks ago before that joint statement and now it's like nothing. Because things have changed so much now. They've raised 25k for release recovery through Carl's Ms. Merch. Obviously things are patched up and we're okay now. But Carl says it because he wants Kyle to hear it.
Dara
Well, I think at the end of the day he should have invested like 5 grand because I'm sure Carl knows how much Kyle is getting paid to do these DJ events, you know, so he's like, for you to put in 5 to 10,000. I, I know Lover Boy is not in a good spot, but like I invested in you a ton financially repping your brand, like getting this NA thing started with like on. On my name because I'm not drinking anymore. So he. This was just a huge disservice for him to not financially contribute.
Courtney
I think it's created more problems for Kyle than not doing it. But I also understand why he didn't. He's on the board. He's giving his expertise there. Yes, I think maybe Kyle should have, but I also can see why he couldn't. He's not taking anything from Lover Boy now. I think things are so different now. He's a Carl. Here's 50k. Lover boy's been saved. I bet he's invested now. It's just so different at the time because I really think Kyle was in the effing trenches. He could not save his business or his marriage and then is looking at everything as a job. Summerhouse is a job. And while I'm on Summerhouse, I'm also Double dipping by DJing at common ground east every single weekend. So I'm making money there, I'm making money here because I also live a lifestyle that I want to live, which means that I need to be making money to afford that. And if I'm trying to keep my company afloat over here, which I take zero salary from, how do I continue? All you have to do is have your Ex wife. Hook up with your best friend and everything's okay.
Dara
Carl, Lindsay and Kyle make the most on the show. They're the most senior and whatnot. I'd be very curious how it works because Amanda come this weekend. So does that mean she's not paid for this weekend? How do you not film? Are you allowed to miss a couple weekends? How does that work?
Courtney
Yeah, I would love to know that too. I think Lindsay is actually getting paid differently this summer because she only had three weekends available. So I'm sure it's different. But she's probably still making more than a first season cast member, even being part time. I think they all advocated for each other. When they kept going like that, they were like, no, no, let's do this together. Because I think it also. That's the friends approach. Right? Like they said, no, we're all going to be paid the same. But yeah, I would love to know if they're on the same type of thing that like Roni had changed to where it was based on a per episode that you were paid for. The thing is, I don't think Amanda really cared what she was getting paid. Like, she's so nonchalant in the way that she lives her life. She needs to be more shallot, to be honest. But like, I think if she missed a weekend, she's like, I don't care, whatever. Like Kyle will be there basically every weekend. I think the only weekend Kyle misses is when it's his family reunion.
Dara
Right. And she is very upset that she missed this past weekend because it was Wes best weekend of his entire life.
Courtney
Just even the best night. Best night ever.
Dara
Right? Right. Amanda has major, major fomo. And when we see the text messages from Kyle to Amanda literally dying, she just does not respond to him. Hey, babe. Taking off. Hey, babe. Landed great set. Calling it a night morning. No response. I can't even imagine if I texted Michael all of these things and he didn't respond to me. It's very strange.
Courtney
Thank God you have his location. And that's why locations matter for sharing. So I actually think in this scene, this was a pickup scene confessional, and that these were filmed more recently. This, this black Henley top that he's wearing because of the way that he's like, oh, so if Wes texts, Amanda can respond, but if I text, she says nothing. Like, how interesting.
Dara
But he does say on the boat. I mean, he specifically asks, on the boat, when Wes said best night of his life, you said, damn, was that sarcasm? And I think that was weird that he Picked up on that in that moment because that's before we actually saw those text messages.
Courtney
But I think it's because she hadn't texted him back.
Dara
Yes.
Courtney
So she's like, you're responding. Damn. To Wes. Really? Is that how you feel? Because you haven't responded to a single one of mine. But he's reading in the confessional. I think the way he delivers in the confessional is confessionals up again. It's also funny because if you recall, in February when Amanda did one of her photo dumps, the caption was in quotes. Best day ever. Dash W. Wicked witch. Flip it around. West Wilson. You know, so was she saying, oh, you had the best night ever. I'm gonna give you the best day ever.
Dara
Oh, my God. It's too much.
Courtney
By the way, we didn't mention that in the leak as well. The third leak. Sierra and Kyle are kind of tag teaming in this and they talk about the fact that they're like, we couldn't believe it because you guys were gallivanting around town. You were playing in our face. Like, Kyle was like, there was no way it was true because of how out there it was. Like, it would be even crazy to think there's no way they could play in our faces like this. Like, that's why it's so insane to believe it. Because why you guys are just posting on Instagram, no care in the world. Why would we think it? Because it'd be so crazy for you guys to do it that way.
Dara
It is it truly.
Courtney
We're not gallivanting around town, Kyle. Like, it's just so crazy. And even when Kyle answers, she's like, is Sierra there on the boat?
Dara
Oh, oh, yes.
Courtney
I'm sorry. I moved us back to the episode. I'm sorry. I know I'm. There's so much going on. But she has a castier there because she's like, I've heard that there's a conversation. Because I'm sure that even if she's not responding to Kyle, Kyle's updating her.
Dara
No. And I mean, Sierra tells Mia, you know, it was really good. We had such a great sit down. You know, as we. Weird as it is, I do feel like he is my person. We have a weird friendship and it's hard to ignore that she talks in her confessional, how she is warm but not fuzzy and she's trying to be less rigid.
Courtney
This is a running theme, by the way. In every single episode, they make it a point for Sierra to say rigidity or being like, less rigid. Like, that is the theme of her summer. Every episode it is mentioned.
Dara
She says, he is my person. My person. That to me, that is not a friend. My person is the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. Oh, this is crazy.
Courtney
Mia's like, co signing this because she
Dara
knows all of this.
Courtney
That's what's like, so crazy is that I feel like Sierra is like, I'm going to close the door on this. Okay, still here. Look how much fun. God, we could have. It'd be so much easier to not be mad at him and have fun. Okay. I'm gonna be less rigid. I'm gonna be more vulnerable. I'm going to give myself and him a second chance at being on the same side. And I just feel bad because it's like, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me quite, shame on me. And I know that there's, like, a lot of blame that she's putting on herself at this point too. Like, I left this guy back in,
Dara
but did she let him back in as a friend or is she wanting to date him?
Courtney
The wild thing is, is that's what I'm telling you. Like, this house is so crazy how touchy feely everybody is because it's like they're sitting next to each other. The way she's, like, looking up at him off the boat at one point is like with these, like, heart eyes. You know, they sit next to each other, they're hugging, they're touching everybody. But even then, like, after the boat, I'm sorry to fast forward, but they're talking to Sabrina and it's like Ben, Sierra, and Kyle all in the bed touching and talking on FaceTime. Like, this House really goes over the line of what their relationships are and, like, the innocence factor.
Dara
But you didn't answer my question. Do you think they want to be friends or in a relationship? What does Sierra want? A friendship or relationship from West?
Courtney
I think the ultimate goal was probably a relationship, but she needed to start at the friendship level. Except for the fact that it's, like, fast tracked. And I think the problem is, is for west, he wants friendship. And if it's as Black told Drew in Atlanta, I can be your friend or I could be your friend with benefits. Those are the two options that Wes is going to offer.
Dara
Yeah, no, I. I agree with that.
Courtney
But I keep thinking too is like the best thing to come from this is the fact that there is no. No ounce of her that will ever go back to him or wonder, what if? Maybe what if? But that's like a back. That's a deep dark thought that we don't address. But like, this has proven to her that she was all right all along. Yes. If we're silver lining the situation is that the door has been closed, locked, dead, bolted, sealed shut, cemented, it's over.
Dara
Totally. Totally. No. And then I He's just such an asshole.
Courtney
He's just such an asshole. Okay, let's take a break and come back.
Dara

But a lot of those are carb heavy and they don't fit my Mac gross. But that's why I use hero bread and especially hero noodles. They taste delicious. The texture is soft, fluffy, satisfying. It's crazy how they've done it because it tastes like a traditional bread or pasta, but it's a healthy swap. So they make sliced breads, buns, tortillas, bagels and noodles so you can make the meals you love. I use the noodles for the pasta, salads and family dinners and the tortillas are a quick for a great veggie wrap at lunch. These simple swaps help me hit my fiber goals without overthinking it. I could not wait to get home from vacation to sleep in my own bed. And it's entirely because of how much I love my Bowen Branch sheets. They are life changing. Before my bedding situation was fine, but you know the little things that start to add up. The sheets were pilling the corners, popping off the mattress in the middle of the night. That's the absolute, absolute worst. Pillows going flat and the bed somehow was getting too warm. Nothing terrible, but it just like wasn't great. And then we switched to Bowen Branch. You can feel the quality immediately. The sheets are unbelievably soft, very breathable. They don't trap heat, they don't slide around, and they somehow get softer with every wash. Our bed just feels more comfortable and inviting at the end of the day. Like a place you actually want to crawl into too. It's one of those upgrades you don't realize you needed until you have it and then you can't imagine going back. I want to talk a little bit about Dara and KJ because I really feel like the girls keep on coming to Dara. Almost like, are you sure you want to do this? He's so much younger than you and they don't know the relationship at all. I find it really strange. They keep on trying to circle back like KJ is so much younger than you or is this the real thing for you? I find it weird. Do you?
Courtney
What's the age gap? Because I think he's, like, 29 and she's 34, so it's like five years.
Dara
I think they're truly in love. I worried about him. This episode. Did he not feel good?
Courtney
I know he was sleeping a lot, and I. It made me a little sad there. I was like, what's happening with kj? I think it was like, here they're. They have taken on that older sister role to him very fast, and I think that's been really nice. I think he's looking for that. I think they're all looking for that, and I think they're being really protective over him. The conversation with Mia and Dara on the boat, though, I was waiting for Mia to be like, I think you guys could be a great match. There was no sugar coating on that, which. It felt like she almost wanted them to not work out in a way. Like, you guys are in two different places. I'm like, but are they? Because it feels like we're not privy to the ins and outs of Dara and KJ's relationship. And I don't know what KJ is telling the girls because he does tell Dare at one point too, is like, yeah, but I need them to be asking me those questions, which was.
Dara
Which was sweet. I think at the end of the day, everyone's protecting each other, but I don't think Dara has given any, like, red flags. And I'm sorry, 29. Like, you can get married and have kids at 29.
Courtney
But also, like, I don't think that they're trying to have kids and get married tomorrow. I think they just. They connected, and it's like, if you want to go talk to somebody about moving fast, go talk to Ben and Sabrina. She's flying to Australia for Christmas to meet the parents, and the next person he brings home is the person he's gonna marry. Okay. Even kj, who is moving fast, and he's like, what the fuck? Huh?
Dara
Oh, my God. Okay. I realized this episode that Sabrina is trying to get on in the city, that has been her whole angle. I finally figured it out. I mean, the way that she has become an extra character is truly insane. When Ben, Sierra, and Kyle are in the bed together talking to Sabrina, and Sabrina's like, Wes said he has a crush on you. The way that Kyle and Ben and Sierra's face all lit up and giggled. I rewound it multiple times because they're all like, no get out of town. Like, they're all in the Gossip Girls in the bed together. They're all so giddy.
Courtney
It was also funny too, because Ben, FaceTime Sabrina. And she didn't answer, but then Sierra FaceTime Sabrina and she answered and he was like so offended. Sabrina Bale.
Dara
I'm so shocked how Sabrina has like come into the group so quickly and that people are so trusting of her, especially after like that Amanda situation. I'm surprised that Sierra and Sabrina are such good friends at this point.
Courtney
You know what? I feel bad because I think we were being too harsh on Sabrina on her first episode. And I think she is just a free spirit and she is there. Ulterior motives perhaps. I mean, you don't date someone who's been on three reality shows and not expect to be exposed to the reality life. Okay. But I don't know, I kind of like her now. Like, does she look like a modern day pirate? Like she walked off of Pirates of the Caribbean and now she's doing the streetwear version of it. Yes.
Dara
I like this. I think she's so hot in those glasses she was wearing.
Courtney
I'm up Ray Bans, orange frames.
Dara
They were very cute.
Courtney
She looked very cute. She loves a choker. Choker. People have been joking. Like, is she like the green ribbon lady? Like, you know the horror story about the lady who wears a green ribbon on her neck and if you take it off, her head falls off. Oh, is that Sabrina?
Dara
I don't think so. Also, where was Levi and Bailey this weekend?
Courtney
I know. Well, they were doing something for Bailey's it girl two year anniversary that you bring up a good question because I would love to know the filming schedule because it's like we know from seasons past that people have been there and they've edited them out. Right. Like Emerald was at that one dinner last. Alex, did you also notice Emeril was at soft bar? They show every person but him. Luke is back, Danielle is back, Andrea's there. Emeril's also there, but they don't want to address that apparently because maybe he's not going to be on the in the city. But still. Is Lucan in the city?
Dara
No, I mean maybe like a little cameo appearance. Like how west is gonna be, but not a cast member. Yeah.
Courtney
Hi, cutie. Hey, Mandy.
Dara
Remember that theory that I thought Luke and Lindsay were dating?
Courtney
Oh, someone got a photo that Lindsay was holding hands with a man walking out of Stagecoach.
Dara
That's not shocking. I think she dates all the time.
Courtney
I'm just saying maybe she has A boyfriend.
Dara
Maybe.
Courtney
That's all I wanted to talk about, too, because we passed this. We. We need to go back onto the boat because Jesse. The boys are sitting there, and Jesse says to Kyle, you've been looking incredible lately, because, hey, it's old man Kyle with the youngins, and he's working out. And Jesse brings up Amanda not being there. Are you able to have a better weekend without her here?
Dara
And he says, yes. He's like, I feel like I can be myself. Like, I constantly irritate her. And Jesse's like, you know, you guys, really. You gotta either accept each other and love each other for who you are, or. I don't know.
Courtney
Can we not talk about this? Because I was, like, having a really good weekend until we had to talk about our feelings. I'd rather not. I'd rather not. When they come back from the boat, though, this is what I'm talking about is like, I can understand where Cyr is coming from. Because I'm like, also, you guys weren't friends. You were friendly with a flirtation since the beginning. There were feelings developed. And then after the boat, they're hugging in the room. I feel like Ben was like, how do I. Should I leave? Where do I go? Like, this is so awkward. But they're hugging. I'm just so glad we talked. I'm so glad we talked. And it's like, there have been just multiple instances throughout this day of them being too close.
Dara
The longest hug I ever saw. KJ is, like, loving to see it. I just love to see it. You guys are getting along. And Wes is like, I'm gonna go take a shower in the pool.
Courtney
What's up with not showering, man? Wes said, I'm gonna showie in the pool. That man loves in a breeve. He's like, oh, we're gonna have din at the tape.
Dara
Yep.
Courtney
Because they have this nice wooden table, which I'm like, where did this come from? And they're like, this is the first time we've had din at the table.
Dara
Mm. And they're all excited because soft bar is gonna launch this weekend. And Carl just wants to thank the people that have been supportive at this table. Everyone has. And some people have with their wallets. And Kyle's like, if I have to hear about this one more time. And then we get this little flashback of Jesse telling Kyle that Carl wrote him an email but never sent it. And I was like, is this like a Maddie Reese situation? He's has secret power points he's gonna send to Kyle how long is the email?
Courtney
Can we get a reading of it? Like, release the files. Okay, give me an audio file. Give me an email file. Okay, I want to know what this says. And I'm like, did he use ChatGPT?
Dara
No, I think it came from the heart.
Courtney
I also like, is it him being emotional? Is it just him writing out? It's like the letters I've never sent by Carl Radke. Like, he just has a file on his Gmail that's like, do not send you guys.
Dara
I couldn't be more proud of Carl in so many ways. I know I'm a Carl apologist, but, like, he is so genuine and sweet. Like, look what he's done in the last two years. He released a book, he opened a bar, he started a podcast. He's running marathons. To, like, think of the guy that created the Workus Circus to now is truly insane.
Courtney
Yes, we are very proud of Carl. While I was so proud with sophomore, I also was like, just talk to Kyle, Carl. Because Kyle's like, carl knows everything about me. He knows about work. He knows about my sex life. And then like Jesse later tells Sierra, like, Amanda and Kyle aren't sleeping together. Cause Carl told me.
Dara
No, I'm gonna defend that because Carl told Jesse off camera, if you ask me.
Courtney
I think.
Dara
I think they've talked about it and everyone's sincerely concerned about their relationship. And Carl probably said something like, well, I mean, they haven't slept with each other for years, which is like the telltale sign of a failed marriage. You gotta sleep with your spouse, schedule
Courtney
it, put it on the calendar. It's time to go to the bone zone.
Dara
But Jesse cannot help himself. He's a Gossip Girl and he let this out. And the way that Sierra. Sierra knew this information as well. And she was like, oh, you just said that on camera. Like, who told you that? I know, it's true too, but who told you that? He's like, carl.
Courtney
She's like, I didn't even have to, like, work it to get out of you. Like, you were like, right there available. Okay, here's what I was going to ask you this. You can sit with one of the cast members for 30 minutes and goss, they are going to tell you whatever you ask. God, who are you choosing?
Dara
Jesse, I think, would reveal a ton, but I mean, I know for a fact Carl will too. What about you?
Courtney
Well, I'm a solid woman.
Dara
Like, getting you to that concert.
Courtney
I think Jesse would, like, tell me everything. Carl would tell you a lot, but he would like, give it. Try to be, like, unbiased with it, where I'm like, Jesse's not pretending anything. He's gonna. Like, he's gonna talk.
Dara
Like, in what world do I go to Jesse's concert and take him to original Joe's after?
Courtney
Start the campaign now, baby. For one martini and, like, a split. A split.
Dara
Spicy, spicy rig. Yeah. And we gotta end with the butter cake. Oh, my God.
Courtney
30 minutes to goss with Jesse. That's.
Dara
He would tell you everything. Everything.
Courtney
Like, you have to answer the part of the thing is he has to answer the questions.
Dara
He. He would want to answer the questions.
Courtney
I think that's what kind of up to the group listening. Who would you choose from the cast if you could goss for 30 minutes and they're answering also MIA, also KJ.
Dara
He is all in the threads.
Courtney
Okay, that's true. That so true. Honestly. 10. 10 and 10. Split the 30 up.
Dara
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Courtney
Be gossiping. Okay. Back to the show at the dinner table, too. Everyone's like, I can't believe the summer is almost over. And west reaches over to just take a stab of Sierra's pasta. My summer's just begun.
Dara
I know.
Courtney
Don't try to rig a Tony to my heart, sir. Oh, my gosh. Okay. In the city, we are catching up with everyone. And I really do love seeing the friendship that's happening with KJ and Sierra. They're going and they're getting their girls. Did we see Sierra's girls, though? Like, we see in the confessional. Kj, it's all we can see because he's in full camo, so we can't see anything else because he disappeared.
Dara
Right.
Courtney
But we do see his girls. But have we seen Sierra's?
Dara
I have not. No.
Courtney
Okay.
Dara
Yeah.
Courtney
Then we see Levi and Bailey. They're playing the it girl. It's almost like they're like, oh, we should, like, throw a bone over here. I'm like, wait, but does this mean Levi could be coming back?
Dara
No, definitely not. Yeah.
Courtney
Give her a chance. Bravo.
Dara
I'm, like, worried about Bailey, too.
Courtney
No, she's in the mix. You think she's making out with Carl next week?
Dara
Okay.
Courtney
Yeah. And she's on what Happens Live tonight with Lindsay Hubbard.
Dara
Mother Hubbard.
Courtney
Mother Daughter Hubbard.
Dara
Yeah. Okay. So then Amanda meets up with Sierra. They go on a little walk with Ryder, and Amanda's talking about. She's like, you know, I think I'm, like, falling into a depression again. I really needed to, like, take a reprieve last weekend. She's coming from Couples therapy. And the therapist asks, describe your love story. And she's like, so really, it's kind of like a psychological thriller. There's no rom in this comm. And what happened was we bas started dating. He wouldn't define the relationship. So then we broke up. Then he made out with multiple women. We got engaged. Then more rumors started coming out. Then we got married, and then more rumors keep coming out. And now we hate each other. And here we are. And the therapist is like, so where's the love story? And this was pretty interesting to me because she's saying, like, Kyle felt so uncomfortable during this, and she's talking about, like, all of her frustration is wedding, and all of his is post wedding and current. So they're just not on the same page. And Sierra gives her that advice once again. Do you guys think you should take time apart? Do you think you should separate? Whether that's a week, a month, get a reset? And Amanda's just like, he would never go for that.
Courtney
Where do you lie on this?
Dara
I wish we knew why she didn't really come to the summer house that weekend. Because clearly something happened during the week. What are they fighting about?
Courtney
Friday, Thursday, something happened. And then I'm also wondering, was she supposed to come out with Sierra or something? Because remember, Kyle's at the house answering the phone, being, oh, so you're not coming at all? Like, who was she gonna drive out with? Like, what was going on there?
Dara
Kyle doesn't even seem mad that she's not coming. Like, he doesn't seem shocked by it even. Was that always the plan where she was just like, I, I can't do it this weekend. And he was just like, okay, fine, I'm gonna go. And he just doesn't care. Or maybe there wasn't like a giant event.
Courtney
I mean, maybe they went to couples therapy that weekend the day before too. And it was like the co. The therapist said, why don't you take the weekend apart? And they kind of just made it seem like she wasn't feeling well or something. I don't know. The couple's therapy is interesting because it's like, if you're telling me that everything stems from pre wedding, why did you get married? That's the hard part. And what's crazy too, is all of us could read in the beginning of the season. Oh, this is on Kyle. Ky disappears for six months. Every weekend he's gone, he's playing. And Amanda learned how to be by herself. And now that she's, you know, situationship with Wes we're like, well, she. Obviously people are trying to place the blame over there. It's like at the end of the day, they're not compatible. And she's a board and he's a never board. And when it comes to that and. But no, but it's true. Like someone who's, like, always on the go, you don't necessarily want someone exactly like you, but you want someone who has ambition and passion. And not that she doesn't, but she doesn't have it to the level of what he wants to see in his partner. And so it's like it. Jazz is like you sometimes loves just an odd enough. It's not enough. And they've grown apart.
Dara
They've run the relationship course.
Courtney
It's a sun cost fallacy of this relationship too. Is like they were together on the show. And if her problems are pre wedding, okay, well, those need to be addressed, and you need to figure that out. Post wedding makes more sense because it's like, recent.
Dara
Yeah. I mean, at the end of the day, they just. They probably shouldn't have walked down the aisle. There was a lot of things that happened, and it probably is a relationship that went too far. And you wonder if the show made
Courtney
it go too far.
Dara
And if the show had never happened, would they be in New Jersey with two kids right now? Like, we don't know, but this is their life, and we're watching it.
Courtney
Do you think Covid was an indicator that it was like, don't do it. We're literally putting a plague around the world right now. This is the sign. And they're like, we can't see it.
Dara
No, no, no.
Courtney
Okay, let's take a break and come back with the soft bar launch.
Dara

I'm so proud of my boy Carlito. Now you guys can all see it. This is to all the haters. Softbar is officially opened. The space looks beautiful. It's giant. I mean, this is where he records his podcast. He's showing screenings there. He has speakers, he has run clubs.
Courtney
I summerhouse watch parties.
Dara
Now I can only hope that it's doing well. I. I worry. I worry because people like Lindsay Hubbard saying I'm not going to pay $25 for a juice. I was pissed at her. I, Courtney and I have completely different perspectives on this. I think it was very big for her to be invited. I think it was big for her to show up. I did not like her stupid teddy bear gift and trying to like make fun of him. He knows it's a backhanded compliment. Her whole Soft thing. Let it go to me in this moment. She should have walked in and said, congratulations. Like, I hope this is a huge success and leave it at that. And the way that she spoke to Sharon was gross.
Courtney
Let's rewind for a second. Lindsay has said, when he has something, this show, I'll show up. She came. I also think she is very proud of him, but doesn't want to say it out loud because she's still mad at him. Because regardless if you think she was blindsided or not, to her, she thinks she was blindsided. And she's still upset that she was embarrassed on camera. Obviously, her life was. Life is so great, and she's gotten what she wanted, and they're both in these good places. I think she is proud of him. I think her buying that gift and that teddy bear was a way of her lovingly jabbing at him. She wants to tell him she's proud of him by showing up, but she also, like, wants to still dig at him.
Dara
I don't think she's proud of him.
Courtney
I. I do. I think she's proud. They have a level of respect for each other that they might not mention that they. They do want everyone to be successful at this point in time. If you asked her right after the engagement, I'm sure she wanted to, like, burn it all down. But, like, at this point, it's like, she has her baby, her life is great. She's got all of this going on. She's got her new show. Carl's not in it. He has his venture. Everyone's gonna be okay. Like, I still think at the end of the day, if something really bad were to happen to Carl, and for some reason, Lindsay was the call, she'd answer.
Dara
I disagree. I don't think that Lindsay respects Carl at all. And I think it's shown in her actions by trying to bring this, like, gag gift joke. And I really don't like how she, like, was so rude to Sharon.
Courtney
Well, okay, I guess I'll defend this is when she went back and showed that text message.
Dara
I have the text message. Dear Lindsay, I know I have not reached out to you since everything happened. Please understand I do care for you and want only the best for you. I hope you are taking care of yourself.
Courtney
Sharing Sharon. Okay, Lindsay's mom, she's talked about this plenty of times. She does not have a relationship with her mom. She felt abandoned by her mom. She was very close with Sharon when they were friends. Like, remember she flew Sharon in for Carl's birthday one year? Like, they had a relationship outside of Carl. And I think when they were together, I think she looked at Sharon as a mother figure. And then when they broke up, whether it was deserved or not, was like, feeling really abandoned by Sharon and being like, I can't believe Sharon can't see. See it from my perspective. And she was really upset by her. Then Sharon also comes on last season and talks badly about Lindsay. So, like, that pisses her off, too. I know Sharon was trying to just kind of make everything okay, but I was like, I don't know what conversation Lindsay wanted to have with her, which goes into my conspiracy.
Dara
Tell us the conspiracy.
Courtney
Okay. Conspiracy theory with Courtney. Okay. Okay. So Carl asked production, I want to do a soft launch of Soft Bar, and I want it to be filmed. And production said, okay, but dot, dot, dot. Because of the timing of this and how we're going to be picking up filming for in the City. We are soft launching in the City at this event. We're going to bring some of the. The cast members in. We're going to start to slowly introduce the relationships. And that's going to happen at softbar because it needs to happen in the City. And Carl's like, well, I'm not even on that show, so I don't want that. And they're like, well, that's how you can have your event. And so he says, fine, if I get that and she gets that, then she has to have a conversation with my mom.
Dara
Okay, I think that's a little bit of a stretch now. I think genuinely Sharon is, like, wanting to see Lindsay. She's happy. She's moved on with her life. She has a baby. She just, like, wants to go up and say, congrats. She wants a hug. She can't be nicer. You look spectacular. How is baby girl doing? And Lindsay would not give her anything. She.
Courtney
Why does she have to?
Dara
Because at the end of the day, this is someone's mother, and you should be respectful. And I don't think Sharon abandoned her at all.
Courtney
That's it.
Dara
Yeah, I. I just think this made Lindsay look bad.
Courtney
I just, I. I guess I'm seeing it from a different perspective where I'm just like. She's like, I don't want to have this conversation. And I don't think I owe anything to Sharon at this. This point. Like, I'm already here at softbar. Let me film my new show. I'm having this convo. I'm going to cut it off as soon as possible because they didn't say how long the combo had to be for Courtney's conspiracy. And I think, like, I think at the end of the day, I think she really is hurt by Sharon.
Dara
That can be your opinion.
Courtney
That's fine. I mean, when it comes to Carl, you do have your blinders on, so it won't really matter what I say anyways. To be fair, though, I am very proud of him. Like, this event looks very successful. I loved his speech. I was thinking when he was speaking, I was like, carl really is such a good speaker. And when I was reading his book, he was talking about how he had gone to Syracuse for sports broadcasting. And I was like, I really wish he'd actually, like, give more opportunities. If Wes isn't going to get it anymore, put Carl in.
Dara
He's so charismatic to me. I. I just love his story. I really do.
Courtney
Yeah. And I think when he was just talking and he was acknowledging all of the owners and, like, the people in their lives who are no longer there but have made this be what it is. And Carl even talk. Talking about his brother and saying, like, obviously, I wish my brother was here, but if he wasn't here, I don't know if soft bar would be here. He saved my life. He really has had so much growth, and I really am proud of him. What did you think about him not having lover boy non elk on that menu?
Dara
Okay, that was pretty controversial, I would say. I can understand, and I think it's on the menu now. Maybe at the soft opening, he wasn't going to provide that because he was pushing more of, you know, not canned cocktails else. So that's my excuse for that. But I. I can understand why Kyle's
Courtney
like, oh, I. I think maybe he should have just said, by the way, Kyle, no non elk lover boys. Because we're promoting our personal drinks here. The 25 juices with benefits, though. Okay, let's talk about West.
Dara
I mean, it seems like they're going on a double date. Everyone's pretty dressed up for this. Wes comes in, like, a rugby shirt and jeans, and he's like, oh, like, I didn't know everyone was gonna be so dressed up.
Courtney
He biked there. He took a city bike.
Dara
Yeah. And I just thought his confessional was super interesting because he goes, I don't know. Like, I agreed to this, but this is too soon. We've been friends for, like, five minutes. We aren't date ready. Sabrina booked our wedding venue already, so. So this, to me, was like, oh, God. Oh, God. I've been on this theory that Sierra wanted a Relationship with west again. And then this confessional shows me west is not interested in having a relationship with Sierra.
Courtney
But him saying, we aren't date ready, meaning that he was open to something as well. Again, friend or friends with benefits. Those are the two options for West. But then when Jesse's talking to Amanda later on at the end, like, oh, yeah, like, they're all going out. Amanda's like, wait, what? And what's crazy is a couple of weeks ago, we would have just been like, oh, man, Amanda's being such a good friend. Just wanting Sierra to be careful. Like, they're going on a double date. But Jesse being like, I was invited too. So then I'm like, was it really a double date or Ben and Sabrina were talking about going out? Were they like, oh, my God, let's invite the whole cast. Maybe it'll get filmed. Or, like, let's invite whoever we want to. I want to talk to Sierra. Let's talk to Wes. Like, it'll be fun. Jesse can come too. Kind of like this. The, like, new cast.
Dara
I think Sabrina's just, like, scheming. She's very excited for west and Sierra to potentially have a relationship again. And so she's trying to find ways for them to hang out together in a more, like, small space. And I think, like, Jesse just kind of came in at the end. They're like, we're going to drink safer if you want to come because it's just like a double date.
Courtney
This is west doing his people pleasing too. Then of like, well, Sierra said yes, so I had to say yes. It's like, you could have said no. And then when they asked, you could have just been like, I have plans. And then maybe you talk to Ben on the side and be like, hey, I'm just, like, not comfortable going this fast in our friendship right now because I'm afraid that it might lead to something else that we're not ready for. Like, those are the things that you could say as opposed to being like, well, I guess I'm being subjected. I have to go to jail tonight by having dinner with Ben, Sabrina and Sierra. Like, this sucks books, man. Do you think this was filmed later that his confessional of that?
Dara
Yes.
Courtney
Yes.
Dara
I also think Courtney west is a man. You think he's overthinking this the way we are?
Courtney
I don't think anyone's overthinking anything to the level we are. This is insanity over here. I'm effing insane, okay? Like, I'm well aware why I say I can't have more leaks because I. I physically in my brain cannot handle the bandwidth because I'm a psycho.
Dara
If there is a fourth leak, will you listen?
Courtney
I have no willpower. Of course I will. I don't want it. I'm a hypocrite. Like, no more leaks. Let's just wait till the reunion. Then something comes out.
Dara
I'm like, oh, my God.
Courtney
I have to listen. It's. It's embarrassing. I'm embarrassed of myself. Okay. Like, I know I'm sick in the head, but I think the first step is admitting you have a problem.
Dara
Well, you have admitted that.
Courtney
Yep.
Dara
What did you think? Amanda being shocked they're hanging out, like, that's not friends. How do they go from 0 to 100? West has to be cautious. I don't think she could handle just a friendship. What do you. What are your thoughts on this?
Courtney
In the timeline of where we are on the show and not what we know now? Amanda is being a good friend.
Dara
Yeah.
Courtney
She's saying, like, oh, God, like, I'm glad that they're, like, cool and everyone can hang out, but I just don't want this to happen to her again. We see in the preview that she says she needs to be, like, kind of wary of west because we don't know what it is. That's why the whole thing is so crazy, because let's just take in good faith at this point. Amanda being a good friend to Sierra. Okay. She's being a good friend. She's saying, hey, I don't want you to get hurt. I've seen what's happened before, and that's in good faith to where we are today. And she said, my man, my man, my man. It's insane.
Dara
I know.
Courtney
Also, one more thing. What did you think about introducing these in the city storylines?
Dara
Yeah, we. We got the Danielle. The Danielle Lindsay fallout. That was the main storyline.
Courtney
Is this Georgina person on the cast that she arrived with? I believe so.
Dara
She must be, right? Yeah.
Courtney
Introducing the Danielle drama. Like, oh, we're gonna have problems. God, I really wish that Lindsay and Carl were in a better place that he could have been on this show, because this. There's such OG Dynamics here. I would love to see.
Dara
I know, but this is Lindsay's show.
Courtney
I know, but I think he could be there for season two.
Dara
Definitely. Definitely.
Courtney
Yeah. I mean, I could talk about this literally all day. Literally all day. Like, I could neglect my family. I could neglect my friends. I could neglect every responsibility I have. And I could talk about Summer Warehouse till I'm blue. In the face.
Dara
Well I hope that they Amanda and Wes have like a weekday date and we can talk about this more this week. That rooftop bar on a Thursday so we could talk about a Friday.
Courtney
Go to a happy hour guys. They don't happen on the weekends that often. Get the cheap price on the aperol spritzes and let us come along for the ride. Until next time.
Dara
Bye.

Relationship Boundaries
“This house really goes over the line of what their relationships are and like, the innocence factor.” – Courtney (14:12)
Lindsay attends, but brings a backhanded “soft” teddy bear gift and allegedly has shade for Carl’s mom, Sharon.
Dara finds Lindsay’s behavior tactless and rude; Courtney posits Lindsay is showing up out of both pride and residual anger, and explores the complex dynamics with Sharon and production.
Conspiracy Corner:
Courtney suspects production orchestrated Lindsay's attendance and her conversation with Sharon as a soft launch for the new spinoff (In the City). (45:46–46:51)
Wes & Sierra’s Double Date (49:43–52:14)
Amanda as Sierra’s Protector
The episode brims with affectionate snark, tangential pop-culture references, and inside-joke energy. Courtney and Dara seamlessly blend thorough recaps, production speculation, and warm but incisive takes on Bravo-lebrity behavior, never shying from calling out both heartfelt growth and petty antics.
For reality TV fans and Summer House devotees, this episode is a can’t-miss. It expertly stitches together real-time gossip, on-screen drama, and insider knowledge—with just enough shade to keep listeners coming back for part three.
