M. Welcome back to two Judgy Girls. This is Mary from the Bay and
Courtney
it's Courtney from la. And are we just in the aftermath?
Mary
What were your overall thoughts?
Courtney
Takeaways?
Mary
Give me your thesis statement.
Courtney
I feel like I'm gonna have some takes that are in the minority.
Mary
I can already tell because I was threatened last night.
Podcast Host
Oh.
Courtney
And from the responses of people, people are gonna be like, boo. Tomato, tomato. This was like, really a tough watch for me. Amanda. It's so embarrassing. But it's also. Her life is just so sad. What it's come down to, and for lack of a better word, pathetic. Watching her, I'm like, this is really just so sad of someone who's so male centered and has such low self esteem and is in the pits and thinks this is her knight in shining armor. And we all know the writing is on the wall. It's just when she decides to accept it, she's doing the exact same thing she had done with Kyle. Basically.
Mary
I feel like West Wilson has Mrs. Doubt fired everyone. We are all Sally Fields. We are all Sally Fields. Sierra's been Sally Fields, Mija. Sally Fields. Amanda is currently in the role.
Courtney
Wait, so is he gonna come back then? He's gonna win everybody over at the end again. That movie is creepy. The man dressed up as a nanny so that he could hang out with his kids and deceive everyone.
Mary
It's weird, but West Wilson has deceived everyone, and they are literally under his spell.
Courtney
And still under his spell. Mary.
Mary
Yes. I mean, mija, this is the thing. I actually think this third part was not necessary. I already got what I wanted from Sierra and Mija, and I think this made it worse.
Courtney
It. She didn't come out good from this. It did not reflect well on her. And the thing is, we don't know her. We only know her as this woman that was in an exclusive relationship. We don't know the ins and outs. And I just keep thinking it's like you're still talking to him, like you're still reeling from all of this and you're processing in real time as this is happening. The demise of your relationship, being lied to. And it's like you're being gaslit. But what we're seeing is, like, also sad.
Mary
And I wonder how much she knew. Did he come back from those weekends
Advertiser/Commercial Voice
when she would stay at the apartment
Mary
and say, okay, this is going to be a storyline. I'm going For Sierra, how much does she actually know? Because it's clear that she's still under his spell. They're talking every day. Lindsay wrote that on threads. She talks about this six hour conversation, which if I was Miha, I would want to have a six hour conversation with him too, because she's replaying her her head the last year of her life, like she had no idea.
Courtney
But also she's supporting him. And so she had threaded. She like, joined threads just to say, like, if I want to yell at my ex for six hours, then I'm going to have the power to do so. But then she's also telling us how she's like, no, go be with your family. She's supportive, and I understand it's really hard. There are people, and I have people in my life that when they're done, it's done. Cut off. We'll never talk to that person again. Blocked. Nothing in my mind, like, h, how the hell did you do that? Like, that is amazing. I wish I had that skill set. And then there are people that are like, well, let me hear them out and let me figure this out. And I still have love for them. And God, the psychology of people is just wild. Thank God we have a joined minor here. But also Wes, he has the skill of talking. He has a way of disarming, being charming. It's alarming. We know that for six hours he was probably like, I don't know how I got here. No, it's not exclusive. I care for her. I care for you. I really up. I'm sure he's saying everything correct behind the scenes.
Mary
And obviously behind the scenes because he could not gather his thoughts. The likes, the ums, the word salad, it was actually insane. I also feel like there was, like a missing piece of the puzzle and what I would have absolutely love to see.
Courtney
I already know what you're gonna say, and I'm 100% on board with this.
Mary
I would have loved to see Kyle and Wes come together at the same time as Lindsay and Amanda. And then Amanda and Wes have to meet up right after and kind of discuss what happened. A good debrief about it, because I think that was a missing piece of the puzzle almost that it needed to end. Like, these are the villains now and they came together. You know, when Craig and Paige, like, kissed in the elevator and it was kind of like this iconic ending or something. I needed something like them to be walking on a bridge together because we know they're together at this moment. It was missing something.
Courtney
Well, I Wanted west and Amanda to also have a sit down because obviously the scandal is revolved around the two of them and how their orbit is aff by the two of them getting together. There was some missing piece of seeing the two of them be comforted by each other, talk about what their relationship was, whatever it is, to try to convince us and probably themselves that they should be together, you know, And I think that was a missing piece. Whether it was before the conversations where they're aligning their stories or it was after. I would have loved five minutes of that because we actually haven't heard from them together. Like we said, would you watch a. Watch what happens live with the two of them together? I'm like, yeah, we probably would not. The spitting the olive into his mouth photo, great. I'm glad that they showed that to us. But I do love the idea of the conversations taking place the same day because I believe there was like a week in between Amanda and Lindsay and west and Kyle, which is like, okay, well now you can align your stories. Now you can talk about what happened with Lindsay. Now Wes can make up all of the things that he wants to say based on the stories that Lindsay and Amanda had together and make himself look better to her.
Mary
But them, both of them, Amanda and West not watching it back. This is weeks after the reunion. They had the time, they should have sat down and watched it together to know what we are all talking about. I think that is such a half ass job. You need to go in with credibility. You need to be able to defend yourself. This is on national tv, but they still can't face the music.
Courtney
What I do find interesting though is west at this point already knew he wasn't coming back. He says, I didn't think this was going to be filmed because I thought my filming days were over. I think he knew that Bravo was pissed at him. Sounds like he was kind of over it. So at that point I'm thinking for him, he doesn't need to watch it because he doesn't care anymore. He's not part of this show anymore. He doesn't need to put the energy and the effort into it because it's done for him. His days are done. Why would he expend any extra energy? And this isn't me defending him, it's just saying he's done, he's over it.
Mary
It's also so telling though that they physically can't even watch it because it gives them so much anxiety because they know deep down what they have done is so fucked up.
Courtney
Well, I also think too. And I. I don't know why, guys, I cannot get over that. I really think that their timeline is the truth. I do think that their timeline is of the physical.
Mary
So I weirdly kind of started to believe it because, okay, that January 17th date, and she says it was weird I was going to his house.
Courtney
That to me, was a BS thing. I also think that she only showed her group chats, and I'm like, oh, okay, but you guys don't have a separate chat. Don't bullshit me. Like, I know you guys are texting each other back and forth. And like, your responses of saying no are because you're probably hiding something. And is it just Katie DeLuca, Amanda and West on this three chat group chat?
Mary
They add a buffer.
Courtney
Yeah, Like, Matt's not in there because Katie responds for her and her husband. So it's just the three of them.
Danielle
That.
Mary
That's a good point.
Courtney
But I think I'm believing that still because they were sloppy. I just don't think that they are smart enough to hold this secret for that long. The emotional affair, I think was probably happening. I think that there are emotions involved. I think there was a barrier. She's married. I can look really good. And then she started to fall for him. And she fell into this state of remembrance where it was like, he is just the perfect person. It didn't matter really who it was, but it was west, right. That she just needed someone. And we've been saying this for weeks too.
Mary
To be honest, I felt fulfilled with Amanda's responses in her explaining, like, I was in the shittiest marriage. I completely lost myself. I was a shell of myself. And he gave me new joy. I felt like I was in my 20s again. I was having fun. And I can feel refused going out with west and falling in love with myself again. And that's what I wanted to hear at the reunion. That, to me was like, okay, we are making progress here. But what you did to Sierra is up. You will always be the girl that chose a man over a friendship.
Courtney
She didn't go to Paris. She will always be remembered for the girl who didn't go to Paris. And Amanda is the girl who went to Italy.
Advertiser/Commercial Voice
Yes.
Mary
Yeah.
Courtney
Here's what bothered me about the Amanda Lindsay conversation. I actually thought this was the best of the three combos. It was the longest two. We also said last week we thought it would be sequential. Right. 1, 1, 1, ending with Miha and Sierra. So, like, when that happens, I'm like, look at us.
Mary
We were right.
Courtney
Witchy powers. But I really enjoyed this interview. Except for the fact that we know they go to Italy. Except for the fact that we know they're still together. Whatever Dumois might sprinkle in there to be like, oh, maybe it's on the outs. Like, okay, Dumois is. People are saying is very close to Amanda. There's a line there. Do I think that Amanda maybe said, why don't you put something that was like, maybe we're on the rock. So when this episode comes out, people think maybe Amanda is starting to get it. Even though I'm not going to get it. I'm not going to get it because I want to be with him. Because that's where we are knowing everything that we know now after this fact. Because you watch that and you're like, oh, my God, she's getting it. Oh, my God. It's going through her head. Oh, my God. She's saying things that we had thought about her low self esteem, all of this. And yet we know that it's still happening. So that feels also moot in a way she knows. She just doesn't care at this point anymore.
Mary
I think the cameras went down and she told Lindsay, I'm still going to Italy with West. Lindsay has been threading a lot of different things. And she also said to Amanda, like, I can't be your friend because I have to have people in my life with integrity. And Amanda does not have that Mother Hubbard. She did such a fantastic job. She's like, all of these feelings are valid.
Danielle
Yeah.
Mary
But at the end of the day, he is completely manipulating you. We can't write this out anymore for you. It is so apparent what he does. You need to be Rose. Okay, let's go. Let go of his hand, for God's sake. Like, we are all warning you.
Courtney
One body on the door. Okay? One body. And just because he's gonna sit on you, it means it's gonna sink. Don't let that man sit on you. Yeah.
Mary
I mean, everyone has warned her.
Courtney
Oh, and at that point, too. And I think this is, like, why people don't like Danielle when it comes down to it. It's like, Danielle, when it came to, like, Lindsay and Carl, it was like, say it once, say your piece, be done. But every week, Danielle will be like, you guys aren't right for each other. You're moving too fast.
Ira Madison III
I'm sick of it.
Courtney
Blah, blah. And it's like one of those things where it's like, just shut up. You said it. We all know it's going to crash and burn. I didn't. I thought they were going to end up together and that's neither here nor there. But whatever them being on the podcast together, I love their chemistry. I'm so glad Carl and Lindsay are friends again.
Mary
And yesterday they did another shoot. I think it's for Uber Eats because Carl's wearing that green color for Uber and I think Mia's in it, Lindsay's in it. The gang is back together.
Courtney
It's not traitors related. And someone did say too is Traders is actually doing their real people, normal people our season and then later in the fall we'll do it. But that doesn't mean that Lindsay can't be on it though. She will have to carry in the City again next season. Yes, she will.
Danielle
Yes, she will. Yes.
Courtney
The best part of this whole scandal is how much the cast has come together and how much professionally it has messed things up. But I think it's also saved a lot of people. Like we are basically going to trade Weston for another season for Carl and that's a win to me.
Mary
I can only hope. I am nervous about Carl. I'm.
Courtney
I'm not.
Mary
I. I'm not.
Courtney
I think he's coming back. I think that there is a good relationship with this cast. I think you said yesterday that everyone should return back, including Carl. Lindsay can pop in wherever and then you bring in some newbies. And then next year is the season where we cast off whoever we need to in the city. I think it'll also be more natural to see Carl go into in the city. I think Kyle will do that. We'll have a single Kyle season and then he goes back over there. I think a lot of people's jobs were probably saved because they messed up so badly. And I don't think Amanda will be returning and I don't think people want to see that. Did you see that Us Weekly article that came out? Let's take a break and talk about it.

We had random mismatched chairs, no real setup to hang out, and it never felt like a space we actually wanted to spend time in. Now, the second the weather is nice, we're outside, I'm having my morning coffee, hanging with Charlie, having wine on the patio, even watching Bravo outside at night. And it finally feels cozy and functional. Wayfair completely transformed the space with patio furniture, outdoor lighting, and decor that actually feels like us. And I loved being able to read through thousands of reviews and shop Wayfair verified, so I knew everything was high quality before buying it. My must have recommendation is an outdoor sectional. It totally changed how we use the space and made the backyard feel like an actual experience extension of our home. And if you haven't tried Wayfair yet, trust me, it's the easiest one stop shop for making your home and your outdoor space feel put together. And I love that everything comes right to your door. Patio season is here, and these deals won't last. Head to Wayfair.com right now and get your outdoor space ready for way less. That's W a Y F A I
Mary
R.com Wayfair Every style, every home. Yeah, I mean, the reason why Lindsay is so activated is because she believes that west was trying to get her fired and that Wes was like, I will bring on my friends, we will take out the OGs, and I'll bring in my people. So she feels like he's been gunning for her job for years, which I'm sure is true.
Courtney
I was going to ask what your thoughts on were that? Because I was like, is Wes being proactive about that or is it like, hey, what's. When they spin off into their show, don't worry, we'll take care of it. And it seemingly is like, oh, he's coming after their jobs. Like, truthfully, we saw Lindsay only a couple of weeks this past summer because she does have Gemma and the city is more fitting for her. Now, do I want her to come back? Because when she came back for three weeks, she moved the storylines along. Yeah, that's why we love Mother Hubbard.
Mary
This made me love her so much. This. Sit down. I mean, she said everything so perfectly. Even. Even. I thought, you know, she was talking about Gemma's teether, and I felt like she's like, did you need something to gnaw? And like, that was a little jab about the beta blockers.
Courtney
I felt like, yeah, it was a drug reference. Amanda's talking about this euphoric feeling, and she can't remember the reunion and things where I'm like, these are, like, weird insinuations of, like, recreational use. I felt. I was like, this feels weird that we're kind of mentioning it without mentioning it.
Mary
This is definitely gonna come back, and it's gonna be on the in the city reunion. Oh, interesting, because Andy has already said he's gonna ask her about the beta blockers. I feel like things are gonna come to the surface with that. Yeah.
Courtney
It's just I think Lindsay's and Amanda's interview was the most interesting one. As I said, the Kyle and Wes one. What I didn't like about it is that we're too focused on Amanda with Kyle. Kyle, you guys were separated, and it was a betrayal, but Wes betrayed you too, and there was no focus on that. Now, I know they talked for three hours, and maybe this is where producers thought the more interesting story lines were. We're focusing on Wes and Amanda and all of that and how Kyle's talking about it, But I wanted Kyle to be like, you betrayed me. I thought we were really good friends. I want to talk about that. And then I thought with Sierra and Mija, you had said, what podcast is she going on? Where is she going to talk about it? This was fine, I guess, for me. I don't need any more from Mija, and I don't need Sierra Miha to have this alliance friendship, because I need Sierra to move on from the connections of west, especially if Miha is still talking to him and whatever their current status is. Get your paycheck, Sierra. Stay in Fiji. Come back to summer house. No, Miha, go on Dancing with the Stars. You are above it all now completely.
Mary
And you could tell Sierra felt a little awkward around her. She's like, have a mimosa. We need to have a little drink to gossip. And then Mia says this strange thing, like, we need to sit courtside and make out and make everyone feel like we're not sisters. And you can tell Sierra's like, what?
Courtney
And I was like, wait, what's the familial relationship here like? Because you guys have both hooked up with West, Mijo was way more friendly than Sierra wanted to be. This is an alliance, not a friendship.
Mary
It was just really uncomfortable. I think the problem with Wes was that he could not put a sentence together, and they were talking in circles, like, and he couldn't form a thought. And it's like, how did you not have a game plan going into this? It was insane.
Courtney
And both of them didn't. Kyle didn't. Wes didn't like West. All you literally had to have on the game plan was, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Sorry would have worked, I think, too. Even I apologize. And I know there's a difference between sorry and apologize, but that would have worked, I think. The fact that he had time in between Amanda and Lindsay talking and the way that he could have crafted his narrative. And that's exactly why I don't think that they were hiding it for so long, because they're not that smart.
Mary
Kyle also said that he was trying to be like Alan Cummings, and he was like, take the floor. And I get that. It's like, you are the person that should be talking and leading this conversation because you are the perpetrator. You are the one that put us in this situation. And west being like, God, you put up that basketball video. That is what cut me deep.
Courtney
I'm the B roll guy, and I'm the one who always gives the behind the scenes. And you did that. And I realized I can't share my content because everyone hates me me right now.
Mary
It was so, so bad. It was awful. I really could have done without that conversation because we learned zero from it. Even him talking about saying, I love you. And he's like, well, I said I love you in August. And Kyle's like, let's take a step back, because there's a difference between loving someone and caring for them and being in love. And I can actually say, amanda and I haven't been in love for years. So are you in love with Amanda? And he's like, like, like, I. I love her and I care for her, but we're not saying I love you. And it's like, dude, get your story together. And I guarantee you he says I love you to Amanda all the time. And she is thinking, that is, I am in love with you when he loves everyone. He said this to Sierra. He said it to Miha. He says it to everyone because he is a master of his words, and he knows how to manipulate. And everyone is under Mrs. Doubtfire spell.
Courtney
Hello.
Mary
Just. It's crazy.
Courtney
Well, I also thought it was funny, too. I was like, okay, Amanda and Lindsay. Lindsay's got two bottles of rose. Well, one and a half. She started already. Amanda brings two bottles of rose. Wes comes over to Kyle's. Kyle doesn't even offer the man water. He offers him nothing. He's like, you will sit because I know you've been in my Apartment. And I see the way my dog is around you, which is gross. And then Mija and Sierra have mimosas.
Mary
The way that that dog knew west was so uncomfortable. Somebody did a thread because the dog was like licking West's ear and was like, ear stuff.
Courtney
But then it made me think about when Sandoval and Raquel had the combo and like, Graham. Was that the dog's name? Graham Cracker Graham, the dog. Graham knew Sandoval. It's like, oh, just like the deceit and the betrayal of seeing that and knowing. Have you been to this apartment before? Kyle's like, where have you hooked up in this apartment? Like, he's looking around crazy. Should we, like, start from the beginning? Like we've been giving our overall thoughts, but I feel like we should just break these interviews down. Interviews. These one on ones down, detail by detail. I will say the Law and Order music to get us started because this is a level of seriousness. Okay. We are doing an overlook of this city. It's like, dun, dun. Amanda's coming to Lindsay's.
Mary
What did you think about Amanda's outfit?
Courtney
Okay, Amanda, not even jeans. Not even a baggy jean and stripe. You love that you showed up in like these ugly ass leggings, a white T shirt and an oversized. And that's where I see too. I'm like, there's a level of depression that is sad because she has the chance to come on camera, tell her side of the story, and this is what she's wearing. She does not give a fuck about herself anymore. And she doesn't give a about anybody anymore, but also herself. And she is cruising because everything is always happening to her.
Mary
The way that Lindsay was like, shoes off, please. Like immediately, like reprimanding her, she's like, I am going to be your mother today. Get your shoes off before you come in my home.
Courtney
She's like, oh, Mother Hubbard is clocking in.
Mary
Yes.
Courtney
So they talk about getting together. I'm wondering who pushed the filming? We know Kyle pushed the filming with Wes. Did Lindsay push this? Did production push this? Did Amanda push this? Who's the one that was like, we should do this on camera?
Mary
Maybe they just thought the reunion was so bad because Amanda and Wes didn't talk and were on so many medications,
Courtney
beta blockers, that production was like, we're
Mary
gonna pick up because you guys have some questions to answer. Because the reunion was so bad. The way Wes talked about his reunion performance was interesting because it was almost like he did bad at a game or something.
Courtney
It's that Competitive part of him. And he's like, you know, every time I fail at a reunion, the reaction comes. It's like every time, two out of three, you're at a 67% here.
Danielle
Hello.
Courtney
So that you have sweat through every suit. You're 100 on that. Three for three.
Mary
No. And then I, I like how Lindsay started it out and was like, you know what? I'm just gonna give you tough love. And you need to hear this because you made a very adult decision and there's adult consequences. And you cannot put your head down. You have to go through it. You can't go around it. You can't go under it. You guys, that is a toddler song. I heard that song this morning with Charlie.
Courtney
How does it go?
Mary
It's like going on a bear hunt. Can't go under it, can't go over it. This is a real toddler song.
Courtney
She's literally handling her with kid gloves right now. I think Lindsay knows you cannot yell at her. It will shut her down. But I do need to be harsh with you, and that is with the truth. Amanda, you're sticking your head in the ground like an ostrich. But you are an adult. You are a 35 year old woman. You need to accept the consequences of your actions. You need to deal with it. You can't just let it go and just think like, it'll blow over. Like you did something regardless of why you did it. Own it now. Own it, baby.
Mary
And I do think Amanda did a good job explaining where her thought processes, but then Lindsay did a better job and she was like, but at the end of the day, this manipulated you. And as soon as he started texting you, you should have shut that down. Like that's the problem here. Because you never thought about Sierra. And you might feel all these feelings, but guess what? We live in a city. There are many other men that you can get this from. And you chose to get it from West Wilson out of a anybody in this whole the United States of America.
Courtney
And you could, you could go anywhere, Go international, baby. Get on Raya. They'll hook you up with someone in Paris. They'll hook you up with someone in Italy. These guys pop up for me all the time.
Mary
Yeah, but you chose the one guy you shouldn't. And that's where the problem is.
Courtney
And her reasoning, like you said, Amanda's reasoning makes sense. Like, oh my God, I had someone. Which is why I'm like, the group chats are not where it's coming from, by the way. Like, she's feeling you for it. Because this man is giving her attention. This man is probably telling her, you can leave your marriage if you're unhappy. Not thinking she ever would. And then was like, oh, shit. And I think for Wes too is like, amanda's the untouchable. I can't get her. Which interests me because he has that competitive edge to where he wants to win. He wants to get the girl. And then he did it. Now he's going to live with the consequences as well. But it was very telling. She's like, going out made me feel young and in my 20s again. She's saying, I wasted my 20s with Kyle.
Advertiser/Commercial Voice
Yeah.
Courtney
Like I was falling in love with myself again. Were you or were you falling in love with the attention you were getting from a man that made you feel whole because your life is male centered. He brought a side out of me I never thought I would see again. Well, Amanda, you can bring out that side of you. You have the ability to be able to go and love life again on your own without having to have a man do that for you and validate it for you. I was feeling lost. I was alone and scared. I thought I'd be alone forever. It's like, babe, you have been separated for not that long. Yeah, alone forever. I would love to know the relationship timeline before Kyle. Like, was she always in a relationship in college, was high school? Like, is she somebody that goes from guy to guy, relationship to relationship? Because I think that would also be really telling too.
Mary
Yeah. No, and she like admits too. I just wanted someone to care about me again. And Lindsay's like, everyone cares about you. So many people care about.
Courtney
I know a guy. And Lindsay's like a man. She's like a guy. She doesn't want a man. She just wants a guy. Someone with a penis, even if it's small, like Lindsay said. And Amanda co signed a wee wee.
Mary
A small little wee wee. Amanda goes, no, that. That's fair.
Courtney
Okay, so what? And then I thought too is actually like one of Amanda's love languages is embarrassing her man. Oh, well, she had no problem talking about west small dick right there. And like co signing Lindsay's. She like would do it to Kyle all the time. Like, I think she likes to embarrass a man she's with.
Mary
Then it was really interesting when Lindsay started like going over the timeline and saying, okay, you know he's still talking to Miha, right? He's called Miha literally today he herself in March. So he cheated on you with her and now you Are the other woman. This guy is up so much. And you up and you know this and are accepting it.
Courtney
Okay, so I was asking about the PJ Clark's timeline. So I had put that on threads and thank God for Lindsay. So I wrote, who knows the date of the PJ Clark's meetup? Do we think Amanda knew about Sierra and West meeting up? We need to circle back on that. Lindsay's like, Yep, got you. PJs was March 6, Friday, the same day we filmed Hot Ones. And Amanda dipped out. Oh, my. Dipped out. Oh, my God. PTSD from Scandal dipped out before we even wrapped. We then went to InStyle to do social stuff and me, Mia west went to PJs after for a drink and a bite. Mia surprised us with Sierra meeting up in parentheses. Let's go, boss. Move. And CNW went in the back to talk. When they came back to the table, we all left and went to my apartment to hang with Gemma. Wes posted my daughter that night as a deco while simultaneously going to meet up with Amanda right after.
Mary
Wow.
Courtney
So this is March 6th. The PJ Clarks on March 6th. Sierra is obviously asking west about him and Amanda. And this is the point where he tells Sierra Amanda is pursuing him. I asked this, but she hasn't responded because she's busy responding to a ton of other threads. I'm wondering, did Sierra relay this conversation back to the group? Did Mia know that night, hey, Amanda's pursuing West at this point and he's saying, no, no, no, no, no. You know, like, what's going on with that?
Mary
It would imagine Sierra would tell Mia that.
Courtney
Yeah. So then were you all finding it weird that according to West, Amanda was pursuing him at that point? And then finally, did west apologize at the reunion for using Gemma as a decoy? We never got follow up on that. We'd heard there was a convo, but what was it? And so I'm like, okay, March 6th, then that's one of the round of the rumors. That's crazy, because at this point, Sierra, whether she shared it with the group or not, knows that Amanda's crossing a line based on the conversation with Wes. So she must be cutting Amanda off at this point. Right. Like, what's happening within that to March 31, which is the joint statement.
Mary
Right. And we know March 24 is the watch what happens live where mija. Right.
Courtney
And March 23rd is when they probably slept together. Or March 24th, where she's being cheated on while he's cheating on her with cheating on them and cheating on this. And they know that we know that we know that they know that we know that they know. It's just, amanda, stand up, girl. You just watch us, and you think, how can you put yourself in this situation again?
Mary
Right? So Amanda's just kind of sitting there because she's like, okay. Lindsay's giving her new information she didn't know about, and she's, like, drinking her whispering angel. And like, I'm starting to feel really stupid.
Danielle
Oh, God.
Courtney
I loved Lindsay's response to this, to be honest. You should be. And so harsh. But it's so true. Because, Amanda, it's not clocking to you. You're not standing on business. We are saying west is telling you one thing and doing another, and you felt stupid at the reunion. They were, quote, unquote, making you feel stupid there. Weeks later, you're feeling stupid again. Do you think it's a pattern?
Mary
Lindsay's like, he has got to go. He is not God's gift to this earth. Okay, get rid of the guy. And at that point, Amanda says, I know. And if she hadn't gone to Italy and cut him off, would she be getting some ease from the audience at this point?
Courtney
I think a little bit. I think that there would be some people on Amanda's side. That's why I'm like, when they inevitably break up, she needs to say everything because she can potentially still maybe win some people back. It's obvious that the cast is still wanting to keep Amanda around. I think it's telling that we only know west isn't returning to the summer house, because I think they're trying to figure out, is there a level of redemption for Amanda? Is there a way for her to continue on the in the city? Is that where Wes goes? I think that they're trying to shine a light on Amanda more so than Wes.
Mary
And at this point, will west stay with Amanda in hopes that she continues in the city? Because it would make sense for him to have some cameos.
Courtney
So, Mary, I am, like, with you on that. And if I were Amanda, I would be wondering those thoughts, too. Is he with me because he feels like he has to be, or do we really have something now? I think she's on the left side. No, we really have something. We have these conversations. It wasn't physical. Before we got physical, we really talked about it. I want kids.
Mary
The kids conversation was super interesting, too, because she's like, well, I've let him know I want to have kids. And Lindsay's like, I've let every guy I'VE dated. No, I want to have kids. But have you actually sat down and said, like, you want to have kids with him? Because that's a lot different.
Courtney
Have you given him a timeline? You can see Amanda is learning in real time, but she's not going to take any of the advice. So she's just like, in her head too, is like, I can change him. I'm going to be the different one. Because she is a pick me. At the end of the day, she is male centered and you think Lindsay is getting through to her except for what we know. Like, it's crazy. If we knew, like you said, if we knew she didn't go to Italy or she was like, let's keep this in secret. Which at the end of this episode, I hope it is apparent to all women, never be a secret, ever. If a man suggests that we hide something, it's because he's hiding something and it's, you never be a secret.
Mary
Yeah. Let's take a break.
Danielle
Yeah.
Courtney
I need to cool off. Our trip up the coast was perfection.
Advertiser/Commercial Voice
With my Sapphire preferred card, we earned three times the points on gas, online, grocery and dining.
Courtney
It was amazing. Chase Sapphire preferred the card that's preferred for a reason.
Advertiser/Commercial Voice
Cards issued by JP Morgan, Chase bank and a member FDIC subject to credit approval terms apply.
Danielle
We all prefer things a certain way, like groceries. If you want groceries just how you like them, you gotta try Instacart. They have a new preference picker that lets you pick how ripe or unripe you want your bananas. Shoppers can see your preferences up front, helping guide their choices. Because when it comes to groceries, the details matter. Instacart get groceries just how you like.
Courtney
I just get so incensed, Mary, because it's like, like we're shaking you, Amanda. We are telling you, I don't care how long this lasts for, it's not going to last. And the frustrating part about is that you can't see over tomorrow. You can't see over the next hour. And so you're embarrassing yourself day after day. You know you can't watch any of these episodes because it's embarrassing. You know that the audience is going off on you because we're like, why, Amanda? Lindsay told you you made the audience forget about how shitty of a husband Kyle was. You had everything. And that's also like where the tears start to come because she's royally up her life. In one way, I wish that they talked about the Sierra betrayal and the friendship, but it's like at that point, it's so far gone from that friendship. It is so over. She cannot do anything to win viewers back on the way that she betrayed Sierra. She almost has to block that out at this point because she fucked up so bad.
Mary
Lindsay is just helping her try to get away from this man. And that was the goal for Lindsay in this. Like, I am giving you all the evidence, all the signs. Stay away from this man. You are going to end up like mija and Ciara. And I think that was the goal of this conversation and it wasn't about Ciara, unfortunately.
Courtney
I think that also just because Amanda is male centered, talking about a betrayal to a female friendship will not get through to her. Isn't that crazy? You have to actually talk about how the man is the bad person and not what you did to your female friend because you're so male centered.
Mary
Yeah.
Courtney
That's the only way. It's not going to get through, obviously, but that would be the only way to get through to her is to be like, this man is bad.
Mary
I know. And she did not take the information
Courtney
when she said, like, I thought I'd be alone. And Lindsay was like, amanda, you should be dating around. You should be. Should be seeing what you like. You are the runaway bride of Julia Roberts. Go figure out how you like your eggs, babe.
Danielle
Right.
Courtney
Obviously, these people also all know each other much more than we do as viewers. They know the ins and outs. They're more intimate with each other. They share more secrets. But I feel like Lindsay's. Like, there's still a sliver of hope.
Mary
I know she was trying her best to help her and she did not receive the information because we know she went to Italy.
Danielle
Yeah.
Courtney
Okay, let's go to Kyle and Wes. I. I could talk about Amanda and Lindsay.
Mary
Got to move forward.
Courtney
We. We do have to move forward, just like we have to move forward with these relationships here.
Mary
One question for you. What podcast was Amanda going to go on? She was going to fly out, to which I have to assume is the VI vials.
Courtney
So originally, when the separation first happened, it would not have surprised me if she was going on call her daddy.
Mary
Oh.
Courtney
But I think because this was after the reunion and she was going to tell her side, it would have been the vile file. Now I wonder though, was it together or separate? With west or without?
Mary
I think by herself. I didn't think of call her daddy. That's a good guess too.
Courtney
I don't think after the fact because I think that that would have been a bad move for the Unwell network, which is under Some heat right now. But I do think that if it was the separation and it was before we found out about all this, I think, oh, God. Again, she. She up so badly because she could have had it all.
Mary
I know.
Courtney
She could have had it all.
Danielle
I know.
Courtney
Okay, so when Wes is like, do you have a side? And Kyle's like, no, just like sit wherever. Because Kyle's not doing this off camera. We share so much of our lives. We better do it on camera because Kyle is like, no, I want this on camera. And if it's not going to be on camera with bravo, I'm finding that Adam Glenn guy and he's going to accidentally run into us on the streets. Okay. Like, I'm calling in reinforcements. This will be filmed some how.
Mary
Yes. I really got zero from this. It was very underwhelming. I couldn't believe that he didn't rewatch it. And I like what Kyle said. You should be re watching it because the way that you touch these women is really inappropriate. Sierra with the extra long hugs, all the touching, the way you were touching Amanda is a completely inappropriate. And then Wes talks about the Sierra situation and he's like, I kissed her like twice in the fall. And the only reason I went to her birthday dinner was because I wanted to show that I was her friend. But I left right after and we went to that giants game and she wanted to come back with us on the bus on the ride home, but I didn't. Did he give her his address or not?
Courtney
No, but she knows about the basketball hoop. She knows that Amanda was at his house. She's also slept over twice, so somehow the address was leaked.
Mary
I'm also like, what happened at the super bowl? I'd love to know what happened at
Courtney
the super bowl between them two. I need a one on one tell all with Sierra. The problem with the Sierra Miha conversation is like Sierra cannot show any vulnerability in that she can't give details because Miha is still talking to West. She can't share her side of the story because I also think too was Wes is smart and Miha is probably telling him details. Not because she's like, oh my God, we're in cahoots, me and Wes. But probably because he's asking questions and she's giving answers, you know, and it's like you can't give your details, Sierra outside of like timeline because it's going to go back to Wes in one way or the other. The end of the day with west and Kyle is that you really can't Trust anything that Wes says.
Mary
Exactly.
Courtney
So twice he brought up. I'm here today to have an ominous conversation. Oh, well, do you want me to tell you the truth? And he keeps saying this honesty thing. I feel like Kyle is like befuddled at this. He's like, yeah, I want the honesty. What do you mean? Lie to me? No, you've been lying to our faces for months. And he's like, yeah, you know, it is tough because I have lied. I lied to you, I lied to them, I lied to her, I lied to him, I lied to Miha. I like to see her. It's like, like, yeah. So when I ask, just have a sit down and have an honest conversation. Stop asking if I want the truth. Of course I do. Did you also see two Bravo and Cocktails posted this this morning that the hat that west was wearing was the same hat that Amanda wore to the Yankees game?
Mary
I did notice that. At the end of the day, I think this west conversation didn't work because he isn't vulnerable. He can't put a sense into together, and he's still trying to protect his image. And he will constantly say, I up, I did bad, I did wrong. But his actions in continuing to date Amanda disprove anything he says. I can't even imagine what was filmed for three hours because we got zero out of this and I kind of hated it.
Courtney
I feel like there were a lot of awkward pauses and silences and that accounted for like a full hour if you were to cut it up and put it together. So it was really only like a two hour conversation, you know? Oh, well, like, wait, do you want me, do you want me to tell the truth, Kyle? It's like, yes.
Mary
And then Kyle Cook was playing Frank Batula here.
Courtney
That's why I don't want Amanda to come back to that summer house. Because Kyle will be the dad treating her like this daughter because he's also trying to overcompensate for being a shitty husband.
Mary
Yes.
Courtney
And I do care about Amanda. Of course you do. But Kyle, you know what? What? She does not care about you anymore. Doesn't care about herself. She doesn't care about anyone, including herself.
Mary
Right, but I feel like he feels responsible for that.
Courtney
Oh, and he partially is. He partially is. But at the same time, you don't want her to be with Wes because you know exactly who west is. The thing is, Kyle, she knows exactly who west is and she's choosing to look the other way. She's different.
Mary
I'm so curious how long this relationship will Last.
Courtney
I guess my question for you too at the end of this is like, where do they go? Because yeah, I would have loved a West and Amanda. Sit down. I would have loved Amanda to ask him follow up questions. Lindsay mentioned X, Y and Z. Is this true? But she doesn't want to risk this relationship because at this point it's all she has. So I would have loved some sort
Mary
of honesty and I wonder if this will be woven into in the city at all. I'm a little bit hopeful. Maybe we still could get a watch what happens live with them. I don't know. Bravo is probably very down with west at this point. This was his final hurrah and he knew that walking into it and he still flopped it.
Courtney
I know he had the opportunity to really take accountability and just be like, I'm bummed I screwed something up and just say, I probably shouldn't be with her. Yeah, Lindsay said it. He's already out with other girls. He's still talking to Miha because he needs a backup to his backup to his backup. I know he's got a roster. Like, what's going on with that kickball girl? I don't.
Mary
So crazy.
Courtney
This is only what we know in front of the camera. What killed me here too is I'm like, Sierra's such a good person and such a better person than I because. Because at the reunion she apologizes to Kyle, I'm sorry I didn't see you last summer. I'm sorry about this. She apologizes to Miha. I'm sorry you had to see us kiss. Like, she is just such a better person. And also, I'm obsessed with her apartment.
Mary
I don't think we've ever filmed there. It was gorgeous.
Courtney
It was so pretty. And she's such a good host. And Mia, good job because you found this apartment because you live there.
Mary
Yeah.
Courtney
Then you got Sierra there. And then I'm like, you know what? That building should hire Mia exclusively to find renters.
Mary
Yes. She's doing something right.
Courtney
Truly. Truly. But I like that Sierra was like kind of asking the questions because curiosity killed the cat here. Not Jasper the cat, just the proverbial cat. But Sierra's got questions that she wants answered, but not in a friend way. What did he tell you when he'd returned from the weekend? What do you know?
Mary
Well, I mean, imagine that she's like, he made out with me. We had this like crazy long conversation before going on a boat. Does he not mention any of that to you? I mean, you know, you're gonna See this in the springtime. How was he going to present that to you? How far in advance does he tell you what the direction of the filming is going? Because obviously they know stories and the storyline that's gonna get picked up.
Courtney
I just thought about this though, okay. I wonder if he was going to wait until the screeners came out to see what was edited in. Because we got got some never before seen footage about Jesse asking like, how is Miha? And are you talking to somebody? They show an interview where they ask that question too. And so I'm like, was he waiting to see the screener, see what was out? And then what he had to start making excuses for like maybe they were never gonna show the kiss?
Mary
I can't imagine. Because he knows the big thing is gonna be him and Sierra having this redemption. They are her friends again. He had to have told her that.
Courtney
What if he didn't remember the kiss? It was at 5am after that snow party, after they had gone out. I mean, he thinks they just did ear stuff.
Mary
But even the kiss with the other girl, the random up then too.
Courtney
Maybe he really doesn't remember. And so he's like, no, I don't think it was as bad as everyone's saying. Was he waiting for the screener? And week after week he's like, okay, let me explain the storyline to you because. Because we know he's good with his words.
Mary
Or maybe he was gonna cut her off by spring. He said. I thought by me saying I wasn't gonna come to your family's house for the holidays, that was me communicating that we're not that serious. Even though I didn't actually say that out loud. I just decided not to go to your family Christmas.
Courtney
I assumed both Sierra and Miha would get it. And when you assume, you make an ass out of you and me. I just thought they get it. Oh, you did? No. See, this is why words matter. And you're so good with them when you need them. And yet when you're confronted or you have a tricky situation, you're burping. It's just this six hour convo. I can't move past it because I'm like six hours, that's too long. And then also, are you on the phone because you can't text anymore? Because Amanda sees his phone a thousand percent.
Mary
He also doesn't want anything in writing. Yes, say it, forget it, write it, regret it.
Courtney
Yeah, it's like Dorinda Medley. Tyler Perry told us that he knows
Mary
not to put anything on text messages anymore, but If I was her, I would want a lot of questions answered, because this all blew up when she
Advertiser/Commercial Voice
said, it's just really hard to disconnect my feelings.
Mary
And I told him to go to
Advertiser/Commercial Voice
Italy with his family and have fun.
Mary
And then I found out Amanda was going, and I'm like, and you're still talking to him. Come on, Mia. Come on.
Courtney
I know. And, well, then I was thinking he was probably supposed to take her, and he said, it's not right. So you go be with your family. Then the double betrayal of. Then Amanda going with her ass bun is like. And then she wears her hair like that. Don't knock it till you sh. It's great.
Mary
Miha talking about it being a secret and how she loved that. And I'm like, like, girl, girl.
Courtney
She's not like other girls either, right? She's like, I give a long leash in my relationship. I don't want them thinking I want to know their whereabouts. I'm like, don't be cool. Don't be the cool girl. Have a leash. Okay. And it should be short.
Mary
Put on the. Find my.
Courtney
Oh, now you want it.
Mary
I've always had it on Michael. Come on.
Courtney
You just don't want it on you. No, that's. You want the long leash for yourself, but the short leash for your man.
Mary
I've always pleasantly given Michael my fine vine. You can find me anytime. I'm at here in original Joe's, those are the only two places I go anyways.
Courtney
They're all trauma bonded. They're like, we will outlast this relationship. I'm like, no, Sierra, you don't need to be friends with her. You have enough friends. Don't do it.
Mary
But no, you could tell Sierra was turned off. I actually. I think they did a disservice at the end here. It. It got really weird very, very quickly.
Courtney
Yeah. Like, I know they got the extra paycheck, and I think that's great, but I don't know that Sierra needed to be the one to get the story.
Mary
We already got the story at the reunion, though.
Courtney
Yeah. Yeah.
Mary
Like, that was the perfect amount. We didn't need more.
Courtney
Do you think, though, this was a step to potentially Miha coming onto the next season of Summer House?
Mary
That did cross my mind, and I put that as a question, and people did not like that. They do not want me hot on.
Courtney
Well, so I think this is the thing for me, and it's nothing against Miha in particular, but if we're getting rid of west, then the next season needs to Just be nothing about west and Amanda, obviously, like, you have to probably address the elephant in the room a little bit and just be like. Like, last summer was crazy. We thought it was the best summer of our lives, how different it was. But this is going to be the best summer of our lives. If you bring in Miha, who is still an arm connected to West.
Mary
Yeah.
Courtney
Then it does change tarnishes. Yeah. And so I think it's like, I'd rather see the cast have a good time, move on from this, have their last summer together without scandal, hopefully, who knows? But if we bring her on, it's meaning definitely leaving the door open for Wes to come back. And if they don't want to do that, then don't. But to me, it's like, why even have that? Let's move forward.
Mary
I think Bravo really wants Ciara, so Sierra's gonna get to dictate a lot. That means it's already happened. Wes is not gonna come. Amanda can't come if Sierra's coming, so she's out. I think the audience didn't respond well to Miha, so she will not be invited. I think you're right. We can't keep fueling this conversation. We need to just be done with it. We're done with West. Let Sierra have a fun summer.
Courtney
I wanted to ask you this too. Where do you lie now on the scandal? Are you done with it? Was this the closure episode for you? I think obviously we're still going to get it sprinkled into in the city, but after that season's done, is it done for you? Do you want to hear more about this? Do you still have questions that you think might get answered? Give me your thoughts right there, Mary.
Mary
I was so obsessed with this scandal.
Courtney
I loved it.
Mary
I loved being on the Internet following it. I loved them going to the West Village bars. I loved them in Italy. This extra episode actually put a bad taste in my mouth. I don't think we made any revelations here. We would have if Amanda didn't go to Italy. My favorite part by far was Amanda and Lindsay, but. But Wes, we made no progress with. We got nothing out of him. The Sierra mija thing felt forced, that it was better as just the reunion, but it also kind of started to make me think too. Isn't it kind of crazy that Mija never went to one party at the summer house if they wanted to keep it, like, such a secret?
Courtney
That's so true. I wonder if she ever came around the first season because it's been two
Mary
years, right it would be so easy for her to come for the 4th of July party. Not spend the night or anything, but. But just come to a party one time at the summer house and like that would be like such a insight secret.
Courtney
That's a great point that you bring up. I'm with you on the scandals. Like after watching this episode and knowing that Amanda went to Italy, that did put a bad taste in my mouth of like, oh my God, you're almost there, you get it, but you're choosing not to.
Mary
I believed her. And so much of the this I felt bad for the girl. I was like, oh my God, she just needs therapy. We need to help Amanda. And then I'm like, no, wait, two
Courtney
things can be true. She can need therapy and be in a bad place and also still be responsible for her actions. Those are not separate entities there you can see someone who's so low in their self esteem, is in the gutter, does not think highly of themselves and still think, wow. But she was still, because of that, able to, to find a man, betray her best friend, everything up and have to take responsibility for it. There's two sides of the coin there.
Mary
I also would love to know, like, Wes Wilson's mom, what is she thinking? And the Petulas, I mean, are they like, you need to come home right now. You're spending 30 days in the house.
Courtney
What I do wonder because I'm like, oh my God, my mom would take a flight to New York, talk about ear stuff. She'd be grabbing me by the ear. Get the out of the door, get on the plane, I'm taking your phone away. And I'd be like, I'm 40. She's like, I don't give a fuck. You are my kid and you're an idiot.
Mary
I grew up the same way. I'm still scared of my parents.
Courtney
There's a level of fear that I'm like, oh God, what would my mom think?
Mary
This is a sign of good parenting if you ask me.
Courtney
Fear is important in all relationships. Friendships, lovers, parents, children motivated by fear. Come back to us for some hot takes too.
Mary
Yeah.
Courtney
Anything else about this? I mean, I'm sure we'll probably talk more tomorrow when we talk in the city. So this will be a TBC black screen. To be continued.
Mary
Okay, we'll pick it up back tomorrow. See you then.

I just want to say that I'm back with a new podcast, Feedback with Ira Madison iii. Every Thursday, I'll dissect whatever's taking over my group chat. Like who West Wilson from Summer House is banging this week, whether film criticism and black art can actually coexist, why every man on a dating app is either illiterate or reading Middlemarch with no in between. And whatever the hell is going on with heated rivalry fans on the Internet, you know exactly who you are. I'll be joined by friends and other culture makers to dissect pop culture, politics and the media and all the ways the Internet has rewired our brains permanently. New episodes of Feedback drop every Thursday starting June 8th 18th. Subscribe now to Feedback with Ira Madison III. Wherever you get your podcasts as you get that.

Hosts: Courtney (LA) & Mary (Bay Area)
Courtney and Mary reunite virtually to dissect the aftermath of Summer House Season 10’s explosive finale and reunion — focusing especially on Amanda, West, and the tangled web of friendships and betrayals that have deeply shaken the cast. As devoted Bravo and reality TV sleuths, they unpack major developments, share hot takes, and debate what (if any) closure fans got from the season's “third part” sit-downs. The tone is candid, gossipy, and sometimes a little savage, mirroring the emotional exhaustion and skepticism of longtime viewers.
On Amanda's Downward Spiral and Low Esteem:
On West's Spell:
On Amanda’s Love Life Choices:
On Missed Closure:
On Lindsay’s Tough Love Approach:
On Betrayal and Manipulation:
On Friendship Fallout:
On the Limits of Growth:
On the Superficial Nature of Some Sit-Downs:
On the Franchise’s Future:
Despite moments of insight and the cathartic “Mother Hubbard” tough love from Lindsay, the hosts conclude that this “aftermath” episode failed to provide meaningful closure. Amanda’s lack of growth and continued entanglement with West left fans dispirited, while West’s fumbling interviews and lack of accountability made his exit feel inevitable. The cast’s professional futures hang in the balance, with a general consensus that the show needs to move on—hopefully to a drama-free, fun summer.
Final Word:
“Two things can be true: She [Amanda] can need therapy and be in a bad place and also still be responsible for her actions. Those are not separate entities.” – Courtney (63:55)
Absolutely: This episode recap is a goldmine for anyone needing a smart, nuanced (and judgmental!) download of the Amanda–West–Lindsay–Sierra scandal vortex. Expect snappy banter, detailed scene breakdowns, and a perfect balance of empathy and exasperation. Skip if you’re looking for justice for West.
