Oh, my gosh. I. You know what? I wasn't very emotional the day of because I was stressed.

[Courtnee]

That is so not true. Mary. You sent some really adorable videos, and I could hear it in your voice of your sweet excitement. So I felt the emotion coming through the video. Video. Don't try to play hardball with us on this Monday.

No, I thought when people sang Happy Birthday, I'd start crying. I thought it was gonna be that emo. Okay. I thought it was a very sweet day. Like their very first thing in the morning, Michael got a ton of balloons from Michael's and Charlie came out and we got him Duplos and he was kind of interested. It was sweet. And then Charlie took a nap. And I had shown Michael the night before a TikTok of how people get balloons. And then they put them on the stuffed animals and it's like the toy story to infinity and beyond. We put birthday hats on the stuffed animals. So Michael, like, got him up from his nap. Charlie's literally crying in the video to start. He's like, where's my bottle? Lay off me, I'm starving.

I didn't know you had a mini Shannon bedor I do. This is on my fucking plate.

[Mary]

But anyway, so he comes out and that was, like, very sweet. And this is so funny because we used stuffed animals we already had. And there is this stuffed animal that we got in Baja Mar, and it's this, like, cute little flamingo.

And.

And we lost it, like, day one or two. And Michael, the entire trip was obsessed with finding this flamingo again. He, like, went back to the studio. He's calling Lost and Found. He's at the cabanas. He is in search the entire trip. I'm like, oh, my God, it's gone. I'm like, we can buy a new one.

[Courtnee]

And he would go into the shops

[Mary]

and he couldn't find the right flamingo. And then, like, the day before we leave, he went back to the podcast studio again, and there was someone in There and they were like, oh yeah, I think, think actually it's. And they got it for him. And it was so funny because there's like seven stuffed animals set up and the only one that Charlie went up

[Courtnee]

to was Mingo the Flamingo. Michael knew, he knows his son.

[Mary]

I know it was so, so funny. But that, that was very, very sweet. And then, yeah, I just had like the immediate family over. The average age was about 70 at the party.

[Courtnee]

I don't know because you had two young, young, young children there. That really to you.

[Mary]

Yes, we had a six week old, a one year old, a almost two year old then. Then we had an 80 year old, 75.

[Courtnee]

Yeah, you really ran the gamut of age. It's very nice.

[Mary]

Yes, yes. And we got Charlie a slides. They played on the slide outside for a bit. We had some margs and of course we had our OJs. We had raviolis and we had this beautiful chocolate cake. It was so, so gorgeous. And I gave Charlie a little taste of the icing to start, you know, for the video. First of all, like after we sang Happy Birthday, he kind of started crying because he was a little bit scared. And then we gave him like a little piece of the chocolate and he was like, like kind of went, winced and then he was like. And he was like, wait, actually that's delicious. And he turned in to Bruce Bog Trotter from Matilda. But yeah, it was great.

It was lovely.

He had a good birthday and on to the next thing. It just feels like you celebrate one thing and then it's like, go, go, go.

Yes. How was your weekend?

My weekend was good. I got to celebrate Friend of the pods, Hannah Brown, her birthday was yesterday and she had a birthday party on Saturday. So that none. Yeah. But I wanted to talk about the weekend of Summer House because I feel like this season in particular, so many more eyes are focused on the cast, the X cast. And there's just like a lot going on, more so than I think any other summer. And so we know details. We always say, like, oh, we never really know what's going on in summer, who's on the cast. It doesn't really matter. Not this year. There's eyes everywhere.

I saw a lot of Amanda and Wes videos floating around on TikTok. Were they in the Hamptons this weekend?

[Courtnee]

They were in New Jersey. Oh. It was Amanda's birthday this past weekend and that's what kind of kicked off all the drama, if you will. So Wes posts an Insta story, and it's a picture, it looks like from their Italy trip of Amanda, and she has, which I'm like, do people not know? Like, this is clearly, like, a funny, bold, glamour filter from TikTok of the picture of Amanda. But he writes first HB homegirl. Like, happy birthday, Homegirl. Deletes that relatively quickly and then reposts it with HB Twin.

[Mary]

Okay, now I understand what twin means because he posted about it. Okay, okay, Tell the people what it means.

[Courtnee]

Twin means together. We ignore negativity. And that could not be further from the truth on their end because, okay, clearly they have to live their lives. Like, at this point, they're living their lives, but you can't say that they aren't also seething with jealousy. From the fact that I know it's killing Wes that he is not on this season of Summer House and he had to do, like, a big Insta dump before the weekend started. I feel like he's still trying to take a little bit from that, and I know it's just killing him.

[Mary]

Okay, I am not bothered by this at all. I fucking am loving watching it. Like, it is giving me life. Because they're like, you know what? We're gonna live our lives. Who cares what everyone thinks? But they care so much, and that's the beauty in it. And I'm like, what are you going to do next? They are so involved and they are so obsessed with themselves that they are like, what can we do next to bother everyone? You know, like, the whole pregnancy thing with the pickles and the ice cream. I love them leaning into it. And I think they're like, hey, guys, we got you. We got you. We're just going to keep living our lives and nobody really cares.

They're leaning into being, like, professional trolls. And I feel like they're leaning into their villain roles, but it's also like, they care so much about not the villain that it's like, this funny, like, meta aspect of it, as opposed to being like, we're the villains in. In people's stories. They're like, well, we'll be your villains, even though we're not. You know what I mean? It's this really funny way of watching it. And so I agree. Like, I'm giggling the whole time because he posts an Instagram dump of behind the scenes of his summer so far. And just looking at it is like, you know, everything is so pointed of what he's posted because he really wants to stick it to the crowd. But then it' I don't even care. I'm living my best life. It's like. But you do care, you guys.

He picked 20 photos. That's the max you can do. You know, he's like. He was probably like, oh, God. I really. I really. Oh, how am I going to get this dwindled down?

Should I do a layout? Maybe every photo has four in it, but then you can't see the details of the photos. You know, it really was killing. He as he's taking these photos in his life, you know, he is favoriting them so he can go back into that favorite albums and very easily upload his favorite 20 photos. He's already probably got the next one going for the next dump. He needed to see how this one was gonna go over.

I completely agree with you. Amanda made it twice. One is on a couch with two guys and like, Wes is obviously taking the photo feet to feet with his friend.

Did you see that? Yeah.

Yes. Then another one is him doing like peace signs almost.

Amanda sticking at her tongue because they're just cool kids. A couple of him officiating. Then there's this one with him and Jesse and clearly they are bombed. So, so drunk in this photo. And Jesse comments like, this was before the statement. So I'm like, wait, you're posting pics from Feb. What are you doing? When is that picture from? January. I'm sorry, you have to do it within the corner.

No, he did it on purpose because he wanted to get a rise. Because also too, we always kind of thought that there's like a frenemy line with Jesse and West. Right. Was something there? They came in together. But then like, when Jesse went down, I feel like he was annoyed. Like, why is it me? Anyways, point being, Jesse also had a concert this weekend and it was like a big concert. I'm assuming it might have been filmed for the show.

The entire cast was there.

[Courtnee]

Yeah. So it feels like pointed that Wes did that to almost cause controversy so, like, he could secretly take Jesse down a little bit. Like, take him down a peg. It felt very pointed to include that to have a conversation going.

[Mary]

Also so misleading. You want us to think that you've hung out with Jesse in May or June or post reunion. That was the intention of it. And then let's talk about. Because Courtney texted me. I was like, oh, my God, the music he used or that song. And I'm like, nickelback's far Away. You're like, google the lyrics. I'm like, to Nickelback far Away. I'm like, that's like a love song.

[Courtnee]

Which Nickelback song is that? I don't even know. I didn't listen to the music.

It's like, cause I'm dreaming No. And it can't be me anymore so far away

Because I love you and I miss Drew home.

Oh, I do know it. You know, I feel like Nickelback got a really hard time. And I feel like we. We were mean to Chad Kroger and crew going back.

I'm like, googling the nickel backwards. Courtney's like, it's about Sierra. I'm like, I don't understand. But because.

So I sent her this thread because one of the photos is a screenshot of this future song. 7:12pm and so then this. This person on threads, Kaya Cheeks, she was like, I clocked Westling's tea. She posts that she looks up the lyric from when the photo is screenshotted from, which is at 207 minutes within the song. And it says, bitch still claiming me. I ain't fucked in over a year. So referencing Sierra. He's so pointed. But remember, there's no rhyme or reason to like why we post what we post. It's just like silly little things. I don't even pick the songs. Instagram picks it for me when I post these, like, Tumblr esque photos, it's just like something I thought was interesting. Then the next line is also a line about Cartier, which is obviously pointed probably towards Amanda and the Cartier watch. Kyle. It's just like, so funny because, God, he cares so much.

Oh, he cares so much. But then he, like, tries to throw in photos like Taco Bell and red wine. Also, I'm with my parents. I'm a family man. And then knowing a bunch of different friends, like tons of people with friends. And then of course, with that test chef girl, which I feel like she knows.

So they for sure knew. Yeah, that couple, they knew everything. That's the Mukbang video.

Yes. No, I know, I know, I know. Yeah, keep giving it to me because I enjoy talking about this. I enjoy accidentally Googling Nickelback songs when I'm Googling future. You know, I love trying to piece the puzzle together. Like, this is exciting for me.

I agree. Because it's like, if you let it really get to you, at the end of the day, we don't know these people.

I actually think Wes cares more than Amanda. I could feel like Amanda could be like, don't. Don't do that. Whatever. And now she's, like, in the west Circle, so she's, like, kind of in on it too. I feel like they just get super drunk or super high or whatever it is. Like, wouldn't this be so silly? And it's like it is to you guys, except that everyone hates you, so it's not.

I wonder how many days a week they hang out and see each other. Are they together all the time? I can also see him, like, needing breaks, but I also can't imagine him ever wanting to be alone. I bet he is never alone. Like, he is always with someone. Can't be alone with the thoughts in his head.

He has to be the life of the party. You're so right. He wants to be surrounded by people all the time. Like, I feel like he's always like, drop into my place whenever you want, guys. Here's the code to my building, whatever it is. And that was fun until it wasn't because he ruined things. Like, I just keep thinking for the fact that he let the wrong head ruin his Bravo career. He had everything.

Mary. Well, and what's gonna happen with his podcast? Because his co host got into some trouble this week and he dressed it a little bit on his Instagram. Do you know anything about this?

So it was something about trans athletes. And so then he posted. I saw a TikTok that popped up, but I didn't even listen to the TikTok because I went straight to the comments, obviously, and people were just like, oh, now you want to say something? He cannot win because people don't like him. But I'm wondering what's going on with the pod? Because the last episode they Posted is from June 27th. It's been over a month. And so I don't know if it's a seasonal podcast. I've never listened to it. I've only seen the clips that have popped up here and there. So I have no idea what. What's even going on with their podcast. Maybe it was canceled. Maybe they're just on a little break. I mean, they're in the WNBA season. WNBA All Star was just over this weekend. It's probably very busy, but I don't know. The New Heights guys were doing it during football season.

Yeah. Especially if you're only doing, like, one a week. I mean, we're doing five. Five a week.

I just feel like if he was gonna go the Hamptons, it would need to be some sort of brand deal to show that he's better than the summer house crew. He can't just go to the Hamptons and then, like, show up at these places. I feel like it has to be like, oh, well, I'm. I'm quote, unquote, being forced because I'm on a brand deal. But, oh, this is so much better than, wow, what the season has been.

Well, let's talk about who was in the Hamptons this weekend, because it was Kyle, then Sally, Ava, Dash, and KJ all out together. And then I'm like, ooh, Ava and kj. I. I'd be down for that one.

The whole cast is out, though. They're all filming for the weekend. I feel like that was just caught. I'm loving it because Sally posted this backyard from the Hamptons, and everyone's like, oh, my God, it's the new summer house, because we have a new house this season. And then Lindsay comments like that, that's not the new house.

[Courtnee]

But I just think it's funny because you said you want to see her on it. I love that there's this little love triangle happening between Sally, Ava, and Kyle.

[Mary]

I'm assuming there isn't actually a love triangle. I think Sally has come up two weekends. She's probably had deals and just having fun and integrates. I wonder how much she'll actually be on camera, if at all. Because a lot of times when they're out, they. They aren't allowed to film. For me, I think, like, Ava Dash was like, whatever. I, like, make out with Kyle, like, when I'm wasted at night. Like, it's not a big deal. Like, they've never gone out on a date. I'd be shocked if they've gone out on a date. Something sober. He doesn't even have sober sex.

Well, I think Ava, though, wants to hang out with Kyle for clout. She wants a lot of Instagram followers, remember?

That's right. She's gotta get her TikTok up. It was only at 18,000 or Instagram. I can't remember which one.

So I could see her just having fun. She's 26. I actually feel like Sally and Kyle are a really good match for all the thirst that Sally has. She is accomplished. She has a career. She owns a house. She's gorgeous. She takes care of herself. Like, she is a catch. And I feel like, for Kyle, that he actually wants someone who's driven and motivated and like. Like, wants him to care for him, not needs.

Okay. The only problem is I feel like in a relationship, you need. It needs to be a rock star relationship. You need the rock and you need the star. Okay, tell me more.

I've never heard this, and I love it because Amanda was a zoloft rock for 10 years, so why didn't it work?

So, like, this star is like the entertainer, the fun person, the person that's probably making the plans and stuff like that.

She is, she is so winning. Like she literally. She got to come back from Fiji early and start summer house. I mean, everyone is waiting on her. They postpone production because of Sierra. She's doing Dancing with the Stars. We don't even know what's next. I mean, she's been on red carpets like getting brand deals. The woman is thriving, as she should. And maybe she'll go into in the city.

Agreed. Mary. I don't see it for this season just because of Dancing with the Stars, but it's okay. But you know, as you said, it could be postponed because of so many mommies.

Giving them time. Obviously we want Ciara to win. We understand the betrayal. But if you just watch of how funny they're acting because they, they care so much, but they totally don't care. It's laughable and it's silly and the more people talk about it, the more attention they're getting. And look, we're gonna talk about it. It's our job.

I love it. I love it so much. I like, I was like, I can't wait to go through all 20 of these photos of Courtney.

It was like when it was posted, I was sending it to you, I was like, do you see? Because he's trying so hard. They have to live their normal lives, but they also feel like they shouldn't have consequences anymore. And it's like you do. People are upset with you. And so it so funny to watch it. I also feel like they were like testing the waters once again. They keep on posting on social media and they're like, let's see like how much traction we get from this. Are, are we safe yet? They're like waiting for this safe moment. You're never going to be safe.

You're going to be playing hide and seek for the rest of your line until the next scandal and then we'll like move on from you. But we'll always remember.

I also think people really loved this scandal because our first one was scandal, obviously. So we were like, oh my God, another one. And this one even got bigger because we didn't even realize back then what was going on. You know what I mean, and, like, then we've already lived through one scandal,

so we were like, a second.

People were seething. They were, like, excited, like, again.

Well, because too, the first scandal was Lindsay and Carl breaking up. Right. Like, that was like the first shot didn't hit us hard because it's like we're just watching a breakup.

Like, Portia and Shamia have not even talked since. I wanted Portia to tell her mom on camera. I wanted Shamia to tell her mom on camera. Like, I know they want that story to go away, but guess what? It's not going away. So we kind of have to address it. And I feel like we aren't. So I. I'm kind of annoyed of this episode because I feel like there's a lot and like, what's going on with Drew, the whole Ralph situation, and, like, what's going on with Pinky in the business? I just feel like this episode, nothing was really addressed and I'm like, are we gonna really address it all at the end or are we doing it at the reunion or. I don't know. It was kind of a strange episode, if you asked me.

This episode was just like, hey, guys, if you didn't know that Shamia is a loser, now you do. And it's so embarrassing. I'm just, like, so embarrassed for her. I feel bad for her, Shamia. And I actually mean this with open heart. If you are going to therapy to talk about Real Housewives of Atlanta, don't be on Real Housewives of Atlant to. That's clearly. It's affecting you too much. And it's not worth your mental health to be on a show that is draining you that you are going to your therapist. That makes me really sad for her also.

It was so embarrassing that she did this whole rum bum party and she doesn't even have the brand. And I'm like, did you ever have the brand? When she goes into the lawyer's office and you can tell, she's like, well, I already have this party planned. And it sounds like they. This isn't actually going to go through, but I already have my costume, so I'm going to keep going with the party.

But instead, she's a jack of all trades but good at nothing thing.

Why are you bringing the cameras to your lawyer's Office, you already know this isn't going through. Don't bring them. Cancel the recording. It's not worth it. It does not look good on you. And she's like, gerald is going to be so mad. Well, no shit. You said you just put six figures in. You're wasting his money. This poor man, he's got to dress up as an avatar for this party that doesn't exist for a brand. That's not going to happen. That you used a cricket and vinyl paper and you put that on an empty bottle to let people think it was ramen. Not one of the women liked the ramen.

How did Dennis get here? Why is Dennis at. At Ms. Diane's house? Like, what is going on?

Well, because they're very toxic, and they're still family. And this was the sweetest moment. I feel like my goal in life would be to take care of my parents. I would love to make sure that they would never have to worry about anything. I think about that constantly in their old age. Oh, my God. If something were to happen or like, they just need, you know, that is to watch Portia be able to buy her mom a house, no mortgage, give her this home, take care of her. I just was so proud of Portia.

No, it was a very sweet moment, and they definitely, like, turned that around. My God, we've been fighting about the mothers.

[Courtnee]

And that's how Portia wins, though, is you want them to finish this mother storyline. And Portia's like, I did finish the mother storyline. When I said that Shamia's mom tried to sleep with her husband's brother, that was it. The conversation is done. I don't need to deal with that anymore. I don't need to try to fix this. The friendship is over. Like, Shamia's still not understanding that she's the one who started this all last season. She keeps seemingly forgetting. That detail is like, Shamia, you opened the toothpaste. You can't fit that back in the tube anymore. That is on you.

Portia ended it. And you're never going to be friends again because she's letting you know she is done. You're just gonna watch her succeed and succeed without you.

You guys, her bringing this Jarvis character is so embarrassing. And then on Instagram, she posts a photo of her and Jarvis from this party. She's created an account on Instagram called @WhoUnders is Underscore Jarvis. At the time of looking at it this Morning, it had 66 followers. I think she posted it thinking that people were going to be like, oh, my God, who is Jarvis? Like, I'm so interested. And then it has 66 followers. Two of them are Shamia and Kelly. But then at one point, he takes his helmet off and he's got a full, like, face mask that you can only see his eyes. And the way that he was just, like, hyping up behind k. Michelle and Dr. Carsten because she didn't do a butt mold. Because, you know, know God told her she's not allowed to celebrate Halloween. I won't even touch that one because everyone else can, but she can't. God said it. It's Hallelujah day.

She. She ended up coming to the party. Yeah, yeah. Because originally she's like, no, no, no. I don't go Halloween. I'm not going to celebrate. I can't come to your party. I'm so sorry.

Everyone's thinking, Shamia has gotten, like, a brand new car. And I was like, how is he gonna say she got a brand new car? What did she do? And then it's like, oh, no, it's Terry that we met roller skating. That apparently set up Drew has brought for Beyonce herself a horse. I'm like, what is going on? Did she actually get on the horse?

I don't believe so. Terry is brought in to be a date for Drew. Maybe they'll get along at the skating party. Then he stands her up, but then he knows where Shamia's party is, and he says, I think that I should bring Drew Anse a horse for her to ride just for then or to own or what? A horse, of course. Why are we bringing a horse? And why is Gerald the one grabbing Drew? Drew and Shamia don't even get along.

And literally, K. Michelle's like, better produce. Are you fucking kidding me? Like, this is insane. K. Michelle just walks off. She's like, absolutely not. I am not doing this. Absolutely not.

I didn't understand, though. Why he brought the horse? Like, what was the gesture there? I really like you. Please accept my gift of a horse. Is it a Trojan horse? I love that she wanted to be the glue of the group and bring everybody back together. Cynthia having her best season yet, too.

Too. Pinky was a zombie. Rather scary, if you ask me.

It's like Wonder Woman is dc, Jarvis is Marvel. They're not even in the same comic family. Just like George and Ashley. George is coming as the Riddler and Ashley is coming as Tinkerbell. At least come as Poison Ivy, babe. Like, you guys are having your on screen debut as a couple to try to get onto the show, and you don't even come in a couple's costume. At least Shamia and Gerald are both avatars.

I like that we got to meet Ashley and potentially clear something up, but I don't think anything got cleared up. It's basically Angela now saying, well, Shamia slept with George before she was married. That's what she was saying.

And Ashley's like, well, Angela called me and asked for tea on Shamia. And she's like, I didn't call you and say that. I asked if you knew Shamia. Oh, well, I just took that as you wanting tea on Shamia. And I'm like, what is even happening? And why is Shamia bringing Ashley here? To give her a moment to take on Angela. And she's also like, okay, this is my party and Portia's not coming. I'm gonna apologize to the group again. When it's like, the apology needs to be for Portia, Ashley, George thing. Like, what are we talking about here? I had to watch that scene three times. I still don't even know what happened.

Well, they were arguing about a hot pocket. Had George entered Shamia's hot pocket? I don't know. It's unclear. Angela's claiming that it happened before Gerald.

[Courtnee]

And then George is like, I could have made a joke at that event because I was wasted. I'm like, you' up a joke about sleeping with Shamia. That's not funny.

[Mary]

When K. Michelle said, when I saw Ashley and I saw George, I just thought there was definitely a lot of money involved.

[Courtnee]

Why is George even a storyline here? Get him out of here. I think George is trying to get Ashley on the show and she bombed. We need to talk about Mike and the bowling session.

[Mary]

Right.

[Courtnee]

Mike trying to use the cameras to force Portia's hand into a relationship, saying he's in love with her. Asking to define the relationship in front of K. Michelle and her husband and the cameras. I said, mike, you're a grifter. I'm glad she's with Sway.

[Mary]

I'm so glad she's with Sway. This was so bizarre. You could tell she felt really uncomfortable. And it feels like they didn't see each other for a couple of weeks. And then he's like, I am in love with her. She's like, whoa, I move fast, but this is way too fast. This is crazy.

[Courtnee]

And his outfit was very reminiscent to me of Zach from the Valley. He has this confessional look where it's like a jean top and bottom, rhinestones on it. And Mike was wearing something similar but with, like, studs instead. And I said, where do they find these clothes?

[Mary]

I don't know. That's a good question.

[Courtnee]

He tried. He tried Portia, and I don't like that. Don't put her on the spot on camera knowing that we get to see Sway next week, too. I'm like, I just like. I feel like when she talks about Sway, she, like, lights up. Like when she was talking, I believe it was to Lauren about her. I was like, oh, no. Portia's. Indeed.

She's going to be a completely different person next season because she's in a really solid relationship. Her and Shamia are done. I. I think the girls are going to be like, what happened to Portia? She's a completely different person.

They can remain unfinished and some of
