Mary
M. Welcome back to two Judgy Girls. This is Mary from the Bay and
Courtney
as Courtney from la. Happy Monday. How was the weekend?
Mary
A little bit too much fun over here. I had a babysitter on Saturday night and let's just say Sunday was not fun.
Courtney
You needed the babysitter for Sunday too?
Mary
Well, you know who was my BabySitter on Sunday? Ms. Rachel and Julie Andrews. Because we watched the Sound of Music because there's a lot of music and songs in it. Charlie loved it.
Courtney
Oh, yes. He's 16 going on 17.
Mary
He loves it. It was like actually hilarious. He was totally captivated by it. I was genuinely shocked.
Courtney
Charlie von Trapp.
Mary
I'm trying to stay away from cartoons
Courtney
as long as I can treat him to the classics.
Mary
I want real people and musicals and singing. So it was a blast. It was a blast.
Courtney
And if he loved every moment, great. Maybe he's going to be a musical theater major. He's going to be like, I grew up on the tunes and little does he know it's because mommy was hungover.
Mary
He's the next Jesse Solomon in the making.
Courtney
I mean, I guess I'll start getting hooked on the classics. Should we break down the summer house news while we're here?
Mary
So much happened.
Courtney
It's never ending, you guys. They always wait towards the weekend for like the main stuff too. Or like a Monday morning when it's like, guys, we have lives. No, we don't, but we would like to pretend we do. Right in the city. Reunion happened Thursday. There was this cast photo that went out and there was no Amanda or Danielle, which we all thought was like a little weird. And then as soon as we finished recording, you were like, oh, my God, look at these photos.
Mary
And because Kyle addresses this on Saturday, saying him and Amanda are walking out of the reunion. And they said, wouldn't it be so funny if there were a bunch of paparazzi getting our photos? And sure enough, they walk out, there's a bunch of paparazzi. So they start hysterically laughing about it because they had thought this was gonna happen. These are great photos on them. They look super happy together. Like, so funny. The Internet's going to wild. It's like it's clearly right after the reunion, they're just walking out together as friends. It's not that big of a deal.
Courtney
It looks like a stock photo to me. Like the way that they're like laughing so hysterically. Like they're like, do the look and laugh, guys.
Ad Host (Various Ads)
Come on.
Courtney
Amanda. Kyle, over here. No. Fuck Ass bun sadly does look like she washed her hair and blow dried it and it will be down for the reunion.
Mary
I'm sorry for that. For you.
Courtney
Thank you, thank you. Now Kyle seemingly in that video had a black eye and people are speculating it's from Botox. And I'm like, lindsay exposed his Botox use on in the City. This should not be a surprise that that gorgeous skin is not just Neutrogena and Cerave but also Botox. Beautiful man.
Mary
Still, the amount of people that DMed us about that as well was actually insane. I DMed Kyle. I was like, what's the deal with the black eye?
Courtney
Did he respond? No, because he'd have to say it was Botox.
Mary
He is in our DMs from time to time. Like he will respond to things. He laughed at my video with me and Ronnie and how I thought Amanda was horizontal in the bed when she was drinking aperol spritz and he broke back dying.
Courtney
What I love about that video is you were so confident in your response of like, why would Ronnie ask me if she was horizontal on a bed drinking an aperol spritz? Like that physically cannot make sense. Obviously she's vertical. And then his response just so deadpan, being like, well, I meant the stripes.
Mary
He's like, sweetie, I was talking about her shirt. Or was her shirt horizontal or vertical stripes?
Courtney
Classic mix up. We were laughing so hard watching that especially too now because right now you are wearing horizontal stripes. But like my friends and I when we saw that, we're like, I, this is such a classic mix up. Like I am giggling because of the confidence on both ends.
Mary
Of course, of course.
Courtney
But you know what? That's what makes you do. It's speaking with conviction, gives you the confidence. And you're like, I'm so right. And you still were correct. She was vertically sitting up drinking spritz.
Mary
The saddest part about that situation is that I just assumed the word horizontal means laying in bed.
Courtney
Well, the bedbugs. I mean there's so many context clues towards that. It's not your fault. Not your fault. It was a genuine mistake. Okay, so also on Friday too is these clips from west podcast. And he is, he's an angry little small handed man, okay? And he is praying that the Knicks do not win Saturday night because that means they'll come home Tuesday and the game will be on at the same time as this quote unquote bonus episode.
Mary
It's like you decided to film the bonus episode. This has made your show so hot. I don't know what his thought process is.
Courtney
Well, he's being held accountable for the actions and is like, wait, there's consequences now. Also, when did you think? Because remember, he said, I don't know if I filmed for Summer House or in the City. I don't think he ever thought there was going to be this bonus episode. And maybe it was weaved in. And I think what he's actually mad about is not his conversation, but the fact that he probably didn't know that Ciara and Mija had a conversation.
Mary
Very, very true. I also thought today because it is kind of interesting that Amanda and Lindsay get paired up to chat. And I almost wish, like, Mia got
Courtney
involved too, but Mia and Amanda don't have that history. I think it was in the OG sense of, like, Kyle and Amanda. We already had that pickup scene. It makes a little bit more sense in this regard. But I think he's pissed about that and doesn't know it's going to come about. Because also that bon preview that had happened last week, it seems like the cast didn't really know about it until like a few hours before that went out. So I find it all very fascinating that they know they filmed something. They don't know if it's going to be spliced into in the City. They don't know if it's going to be shown after the reunion, but they're getting a full bonus episode. That means that they have sold this show, Summer House, to advertisers as another episode, if that makes sense.
Mary
Right? There's a lot of money behind this.
Courtney
Yes, exactly. Like, the people want more, but people are so mad at Wes. Like, you're not a real New Yorker. You want us to not watch the Knicks, Bitch. We have phones and TVs. Like, they're yelling like, we know how to. And people are like, lucky for you, Wes, I have Peacock. I don't even watch it till Wednesday. And then anyways, the Knicks ended up winning, which I'm not a Knicks fan, but I was so happy. Like, I'm a bandwagoner for Saturday. It was so exciting to see the city just get, like, electric and have, like the best time celebrating.
Mary
I mean, I've lived in San Francisco for quite some time and we won the World Series in 2010, 12, 14. We won. The warriors have won. Like, there's nothing better when your team is in the playoffs. The Entire city can feel it, the energy. And you could feel that in New York.
Courtney
53 years. 53 years.
Mary
So it. It was. It was so fun to watch all the people going to the games. Actually, I want to talk about that on Patreon later this week.
Courtney
A little Timmy, Kylie, Jordan, mashup, and Taylor. Oh, right. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And now people are like, guys, let's get a projector and let's watch the episode. And we're going to project it onto west apartment building. Like, people are going crazy. Like, every West Village bar needs to show the that bonus episode. Like, you don't want us to stream it. We're doing it times 10.
Mary
I love this so much. That's amazing.
Courtney
Well, so then Hubhouse got on threads. And you guys, this is not an ad. If you are not on threads, you are missing half the story. Yesterday, Lindsay, she threads. She says a couple of things. One, West Wilson, you are trash. Trying to get people to not watch our show that I brought you on. You should move immediately. 2. 2. I haven't seen Tuesday's aftermath episode, but I feel it in my bones. It is good. Good. Even though we know some people didn't. And still good. Three, ITC is just heating up. We are halfway. And holy, what a roller coaster of a season. Four, Our ITC reunion was so good, we might have two parts. Five. I'm on Carl's podcast on Tuesday. Sleep well, team.
Mary
I'm so looking forward to that podcast, by the way.
Courtney
Oh, yeah, I'll be listening for sure. Thoughts on that thread?
Mary
No, I think she's just, you know, letting the people know in the city is getting really good. Keep up with it. Because I think her whole thing with west right now is like, you could have potentially ruined my spin off this scandal became such a big deal that it's overshadowing my new show. And that's what she's really heated about, about her job security.
Courtney
And she's probably not coming back to the summer house. Like, this really was a Lindsay sendoff season. You know, Kyle, obviously, car, everybody else could come back, but for Lindsay, it just, like, doesn't make sense. Anyways, she was like, by the way, I'm not done. She wakes up today and she says, I've got some more things to say. Okay, so she writes then, good morning. Hope everyone slept well last night. I know I did. Woke up with some more thoughts, if anyone cares. One. One. Maybe West Wilson should go on his podcast and publicly apologize to me for using my daughter as clickbait and a decoy to distract from his secret relationship with Amanda instead of talking about the show he was so fortunate for me to put him on two. Wes has tried to threaten my career show now three times and it's quite frankly disgusting. No other word to describe it. First, when he was on a podcast after I had Gemma and told everyone there's no way I could come back to Summer House. We should have known then he's not smart. But here we are then with his diabolical decision making skills to manipulate Amanda into dating him and threaten the status of our friend group and future of the show. And now trying to get people not to watch Tuesday's episode that he participated in, by the way. So that's the kind of dude he is. In case anyone still had questions.
Mary
I feel like she's trying to get attention on this to ensure he does not have a job this summer. And by the way, guys, exactly about three weeks till we will know who is in the cast.
Courtney
So people are upset about that one. Particularly because she's like he manipulated Amanda. As if Amanda doesn't have agency over her life free will. She's an active participant. So then she's like, oh, because people are like Kyle and Lindsay, I understand that you have in the city, but you can't keep saying that Amanda is this little baby. You can't keep infantilizing her. So then she responds, I'm on an airplane at the moment, otherwise I would post a video. But I say Wes, quote unquote manipulated Amanda because he is the one who initiated this. He is the one who said hey, is it me? Or like do we like each other or whatever the hell his hot dog smelling ass said. Yes, Amanda is a grown ass woman and makes her own big girl decisions and yes, she still needs to deal with those big girl consequences. You will see that convo between me and her in tomorrow's aftermath episode. Meanwhile, Wes is still out with other girls and still talking to his other girlfriends like a true boy.
Mary
Now that is very interesting.
Courtney
I have a couple of thoughts on this and I wanted to go back to after where you're talking about the job security. Do I think he's manipulative? I do. But saying that he started it as if Amanda had no choice after once he said, is there something here? Her answer could have been no. That's a complete sentence. Mary, for me personally, the Amanda Kyle of it all at this point too, because they seem to be amicable. Whatever it is, it's the betrayal of Sierra. And so when we keep downplaying Amanda's contribution to this. It's like we're saying that she didn't care about her friendship with Sierra. We know she didn't, but that. That friendship doesn't matter, you know?
Mary
Yeah.
Courtney
But let's go back to what you were saying about the job security stuff.
Mary
I just. I think he is not gonna be on any shows anymore. I think he's done. He's gonna be taking a big break from reality tv. What about you?
Courtney
I can't tell if, like, Lindsay's rage is one, trying to get in on the moment, hype it up, talk about it, because she wants people to watch both shows. But two, if she's gotten word, maybe he is coming back and she's pissed that he's being rewarded for his bad actions. But then I watched the podcast clip, and I'm like, this sounds kind of like a man scorned and pissed that maybe he doesn't have a job anymore.
Mary
Yeah, I. I mean, literally, in three weeks will be fourth of July. We never know the cast going in. I feel like a lot of times on Housewives, you kind of know who got their contracts again, but never in Summer House, and you wait for that first weekend to see who ends up showing up.
Courtney
Like, we didn't know Gabby wasn't part of last season's cast until, like, halfway through that. We're like, has anybody had eyes on Gabby?
Mary
Obviously there's probably negotiations happening right now, but I think it really does come up to the end.
Ad Host (Various Ads)
Yeah.
Courtney
And I wouldn't even be surprised, too, if he shows up for a weekend. The first weekend Squirms, does whatever. Because I think Sierra will still be in Fiji, which also I haven't watched it yet. I'm like, a week behind right now on both Love Islands USA and uk. But I heard heard that Sierra and Teffy absolutely killed it. They hosted one of the competitions on the show, and then they did after sun, and I heard it was amazing. And she did so fantastic. So I can't wait to watch that.
Mary
I mean, she's just flawless, truly.
Courtney
And I think too is like, maybe he comes back for a weekend. Squirms. And then they're like, actually, we're gonna take away your contract because they're at will employees. They could be fired at any point.
Mary
It's also interesting because I do think we've had so many people come through the house at this point. You can have a lot of people that kind of played, like, the Lindsay role this past season because we know them all so well, and I Think it worked well with Danielle when she came back and kind of was sprinkled in and out. You can do that. I'll be curious if they go that direction or they want this really core cast and to build around that to keep the franchise going.
Courtney
It also depends, too. Is the longevity of the fandom caring right now? We care because Summer House is doing its last episode this week in the City's still running. And depending on how they edit in the city, if they keep sprinkling in a little bit of west and the demise of the marriage and everything that's happening there, like, where is the fandom going with this? The fans might want to see a week and just then say goodbye. Some of them don't want them there. But at the end of the day, this is the highest rated season they've ever had, the highest rated reunion they've ever had. So even though that the season was amazing, everyone was tuning in to see the aftermath. The name of tomorrow's episode, but the aftermath of the west side Story. So they're kind of at a crossroads. Like, do you just say goodbye and hope that it carries over? Do you keep one? Do you keep both? Do you keep none?
Mary
I cannot wait to find out.
Courtney
I know, I know. Okay. Also good news, too, is Jasmine and Melissa got married in New Jersey over the weekend. They both looked absolutely stunning.
Mary
It looks like a blast. So many people there. Brittany, Zach, Kristen. I guess noticeably not. There was Lala, Michelle, and Lacy, but
Courtney
Jesse went, yeah, everybody on the cast was there except for those three. Okay, so that was interesting. Also because Jasmine was a former dcc. They did, like, the thunderstruck dance at the wedding. And that new show is coming out, like, the new season of it. I'm like, oh, great advertising for it.
Mary
That comes out this Tuesday. I love that show.
Courtney
Okay, do you want to talk the OC Trailer?
Mary
I overall felt like it was necessary, nostalgic. They were reminiscing, giving us what we wanted. I am excited because the Trace amiga seemed to be in a good place. I think this season's gonna be all about kind of Heather not fitting in. I think those three are kind of gonna, like, leave Heather out. I thought it was interesting. Like, Emily and Shane seem to be kind of on a rocky road.
Courtney
Of course they are. Of course they are. That's just gonna be Emily's storyline. Like, I'm skinny now, and Heather, I hate you again, and pain. I'm not feeling fulfilled. I mean, the other housewives that are on the cusp should talk to Gina and Emily about how they keep getting renewed.
Mary
It's truly insane. Gina's thing is, like, do I really want this forever? Because she gets engaged. I don't know how they stay on the show, but I thought I got a good overall. I'm like, I got excited about it's gonna be on Thursdays, July 9th. I got excited. What about you?
Courtney
It sounds crazy because, like, the Trace Amigas, they seem like they're in a good place now, but I feel like for the show, they weren't. And so that's the storyline. Is Vicki coming back to bring them together, as you said, with the nostalgia. I'm excited for that party that all the housewives come back for. Like, that I'm looking forward to because this is the 20th season. That's exciting. I didn't miss Vicki, though.
Mary
I'm excited for her return. It just feels like the right time this 20th season season. I'm excited for all the old people to go back.
Courtney
I mean, I'll be watching, obviously. I guess the reason I don't miss Vicki that much is because Shannon really kind of usurped that role of Vicki. The, like, bumbling. Yeah, exactly. Just sometimes when they're all together, it feels like they, like, amp it up. I just don't know that Vicky's gonna pee on a bed in Mexico. But if we don't go to Mexico, I will be sad.
Mary
They go to Mexico right away. Like the first weekend Shannon and Vicki, they go to pv.
Courtney
No, but I need the whole cast in Mexico.
Mary
Oh, I don't know about that.
Courtney
I know, but it's like, you gotta go whoop it up with everyone.
Mary
It would be a fun kickoff to go to Andalay's.
Courtney
Do you remember the last time that Vicki and Shannon went? That was when she was still married to David.
Mary
Oh, and she, like, had to chug the vodka to be with him.
Courtney
That's. No, that was just like Shannon's first episode.
Mary
Speaking of exes, let's talk about Taylor and Shep. I noticed he posted a Instagram story and it was with him and her parents out to lunch. But you're telling me she's on the cast trip right now?
Courtney
That's. Word on the street is that there's a photo of her with Sally and Rodrigo and they are on a cast trip. And it's sounds like the rumor mill is that something's happening again with Taylor and Shep.
Mary
We. I kind of like this, though. Are you.
Courtney
Are.
Mary
I'm kind of on board. I'm kind of on board because I feel like this maybe was the one that got away and then that's why he was so passionate about like CNN being in love. So maybe he has changed his ways and has like shaped up and realizes I lost a really good thing and now I'm going to man up, hang my Peter Pan suit back in the closet and I want to be a dad. I want to be committed. I have this beautiful home.
Courtney
I also feel like Shep would be like. Well, when I was on an Ayahuasca trip, it was told to me that everything happens for a reason. And the fact that Taylor Ann Green has come back into my life means that I need to take advantage of this somehow. I just need Taylor to have more confidence in that relationship. If she's going back to Shep, there was like a sad time, like watching him call her an idiot and just seeing the low self esteem that she had from him. That if things are going to be different. Okay, but you know, they do say a leopard doesn't change its spots.
Mary
I. I think that might be true, but I think Shep has changed a bit.
Courtney
Yeah, sure. Well, I guess we'll see it on the next season. It sounds like. Yeah. So. Yeah. Okay. Well, should we take a break and then come back with some Rory?
Mary
Sounds good.

We had random mismatched chairs, no real setup to hang out and it never felt like a space we actually wanted to spend time in. Now the second the weather is nice, we're outside, I'm having my morning coffee, hanging with Charlie, having wine on the patio, even watching Bravo outside at night, it finally feels cozy and functional. Wayfair completely transformed the space with patio furniture, outdoor lighting and decor that actually feels like us. And I loved being able to read through thousands of reviews and shop Wayfair Verified so I knew everything was high quality before buying it. My must have recommendation is an outdoor sectional. I'm just so sad this is over. I love all these women so much, in particular Alicia and Billy. I just. I was obsessed with them this week, and I am obsessed with Rula and Brian. I cannot figure out these two too. It's wild. It's wild.
Courtney
It's crazy. You were like, this episode is so good, Courtney. You're gonna love it. And when I watched the episode, I was like, I love Alicia. I'm so happy for her. That was great. It's like we really just tied the bow up here on a season. And then I was like, oh, it's extended. Oh, we picked cameras back up. Oh, okay. But the thing is with Rula is, like, she is exactly where she wants to be.
Mary
I'm just trying to figure out. I think what happened was he had his indiscretions. She thought it was over. They go on the show, and Joellen's like, it's not over. And she did not want to believe that. And she had already made the decision to choose Brian and forget about this. And it just kept coming to the surface, and they couldn't move past it, and she made herself sick over it, and that's why she couldn't film. And she was so embarrassed she didn't want to film. But I really wonder today, did she ever watch that video?
Courtney
Mary, she saw that video 150 times. She just told us she did it. Do not believe a thing that comes out of Rula's mouth. But let's talk some reunion looks first, and then we can jump into that because. Wowza.
Mary
Who's your favorite look overall?
Courtney
Kelsey 100. Kelsey. That blue on her, I love too. They did a theme they kept with the blue, just like they did in the finale episode. Everyone was wearing a version of blue, but this color on Kelsey's like a cerulean stunning. Everyone looks great, but wow, wow, wow, wow.
Mary
It's a great cut of a dress too. It's like a high halter. I was gonna say turtleneck with, well, Steve Jobs.
Courtney
It's like a stasi Steve Jobs bathing suit, but in a dress form and in blue.
Mary
I wore a similar one for my welcome party.
Courtney
Like that cut. Yeah. Fantastic. It looks gorgeous on her. Liz is going a little Grecian, so she has a pleated tube dress, long, but long sleeves as well. I like it.
Mary
Honestly, I think everyone looks fantastic. I think they all hit it. These are very reunion dresses. Alicia is a mermaid. She loves a mermaid. You know, she is like a mermaid. Joellen's kind of giving me a prom dress a little bit. She's got a high slit corset.
Courtney
It's got, like, this sequin pattern on it that looks like leaves maybe, but it's a beautiful blue rule is kind
Mary
of giving me Dancing with the Stars. Yeah, yeah. This is probably my best favorite.
Courtney
Yeah, yeah. Sleeveless, one arm and then. Yeah. It's got, like, the mesh going through in between her chest. It's okay. But that, but still, she looks fantastic. She's beautiful.
Mary
She looks different. Like, I feel like she got something done. Or is it the straight hair? She looked different to me. Yeah.
Courtney
Ashley, I. This is very bachelor final rose for me. You know, like, she's got. It's like a corseted with, like, a beaded side sleeve on her. Nice little slit. She looks fine.
Mary
This is kind of like my wedding dress.
Courtney
Is it?
Mary
Yeah.
Courtney
Like, just the shape and the cut. Yeah. I just want to clarify. And then Rosie is very rosy. It's like, floral, corseted off the shoulder. But, like, built like a bouquet.
Mary
She's very toddler than tiara.
Courtney
Yes, exactly. Like, I'm surprised she didn't have a tiara on.
Mary
Good point. No. They all look stunning. I'm very excited for this reunion because two parts. I feel like Rula is going to say that Liz's husband cheats on her.
Courtney
She's trying to say that every husband cheats. She tried to say that Jo Ellen is also cheating on Gary. That seems to be the only insult that she can give towards people. Maybe it's an open thing because, like, what's going on with Dino?
Mary
I, I, I think that Liz is not gonna admit to anything.
Courtney
Of course not. Why would she admit to anything?
Mary
Yeah, maybe. I feel like she did kind of say in one part of the season, like, he's had his indiscretions.
Courtney
He does say, too, in this, like, well, you know, I did all this stuff on Block island. I won't get divorced on Block Island. Not that I won't get divorced. It just won't happen on the island. Like, oh, that's Such an interesting, interesting way to put it, but okay, so, yeah, we'll see your first sentence if we start from the beginning. Your first sentence of notes, please read. Because the excitement I just feel from Mary is palpable.
Mary
The recap was epic this season. It is amazing. I have chills, and it's only three minutes. Reviewing the season, I just thought this was such a perfect housewife first season in so many ways. I love that they're all interconnected. They know each other well. They hang out together. They seem like they're thick as thieves, but also call each other out, but can also say sorry and move along. I just appreciated them so much.
Courtney
It was a really good first season. I mean, we didn't get Dolores on this trip, thank God. I'm just saying, like, they thought that they might need Dolores to show them the ropes, and these women are like, no, we're fine.
Mary
Well, I also feel like Rula's party was supposed to be the last end of the season thing, but since Jo Ellen was not invited, they kind of had to put this one last thing together to. And also get the men involved. Because, you know what's interesting? So the men are going to be at the reunion, but none of the men actually had confessionals.
Courtney
Yeah. And I also was surprised when the men showed up for the ferry. I was like, wait, what? The men are coming? Like, and then I thought, oh, all of them do have a man.
Mary
Right, Right. But also because this is kind of like New Jersey Housewives or like Salt Lake City, how the men are involved. But on those shows, the men will get confessionals.
Courtney
To be fair, this is a first season.
Mary
True.
Courtney
So I think that there was probably maybe a learning curve of how much the men were actually going to be involved. I'm glad that we got the glimpses that we did of all of them, because the fact that Brian, within 30 seconds, admitted the video was true to Gary and Jo Ellen has been working on it all season. Wild. The confessional wild there. We don't need them in their own confessionals, because they'll just do it right in the moment.
Mary
It's amazing. But how is he gonna get out of that?
Courtney
He's not.
Mary
Right.
Courtney
He's gonna track his wife and put a tracker in her car, and then there'll be a bigger issue.
Mary
So he basically had the tracker on to know if she was coming home, I feel like. Because maybe sometimes they would be at his house.
Courtney
You already had find my. And then you had to put an air tag in the car. And not only that, the crazy part about it was that she was like, I went to the BMW dealership to say there's a tracker. They're like, we can't touch this. Like, this is a police thing. She takes it to the police department, which then ends up getting her husband arrested. He's in jail for three nights. Is that what she said? And then the mistress picked him up, apparently. Did you watch the after show?
Ad Host (Various Ads)
No.
Mary
What happened in the after show?
Courtney
They were just talking about, like, this affair is still going on. And Rula, of course, is trying to say, like, no, no, not during the season. Something else happened. Worth A watch. 15 minutes.
Mary
So when did the affair actually stop? Or is it ongoing?
Courtney
Joellen says on the after show that. That the mistress wants to write like a tell all book.
Mary
Oh, wow. Okay.
Courtney
Cop without a Badge.
Mary
Right?
Courtney
Who? But I'm like, is anybody interested?
Mary
I would definitely watch a docu series on it.
Kat or Nat
Perhaps.
Courtney
Like a docu series. Like a six part docu series.
Mary
No, no, no, no. Just like a 90 minute take us through everything. Like a Dirty John.
Courtney
That's too many. Like, I need 30 minutes. You get. You get an after school special. I don't care that I would watch
Mary
90 because I would want to see all the photos. I would want to know how they first started, how it kept going on the show. There would be a lot to tell. Meeting his parents, getting a ring. You're right.
Courtney
You're right. There is a lot of info to know. Joe Allen's whole thing on the after show is like, I was right. And it's really reminding me of Janet a lot on the Valley because it's like Janet's whole thing was like going after Danny being like, I'm right. And at the end of day, it was like kind of a turn off. But I do think that Joellen, she really does want to prove she's right so badly. And it's like, you don't have to prove it. It's fine.
Mary
Jo Ellen's very interesting because I started out absolutely loving her. And then I think her and her relationship with Liz is. Is super interesting. And when they have their one on one later on, I do think Joellen wants everyone to get along and be in a good place with. With one another, but I also think she might say some stuff to your face and something different behind your back.
Courtney
In regards to Liz or in general?
Mary
In general. Okay.
Courtney
Yeah. I mean, she's a gossip.
Mary
I know.
Courtney
Like, if you want the. The tea, you go to Jo Ellen. I think she looks at Liz as a mother Figure for real. Like, she keeps calling her best friend because Liz should be apologizing to Joellen time after time after time after time and has not. But Jo Ellen, like, yearns for Liz's approval. And I think she sees Liz as that matriarch in the group. And so when they get off the ferry, she, like, immediately kind of beelines for her to be like, can we talk, please? It's like Liz is on her back foot here. Liz should be approaching you to talk, but because she's not, it's actually driving you more insane that you think you're in the wrong, because she's just playing the waiting game. And I bet this is not the first time Liz has played the waiting game with anyone.
Mary
Oh, yeah. I could see her being cold and not giving you the attention and, like, you yearn for her to like you again, which is exactly what you described and what Jo Ellen wants.
Courtney
Yes.
Mary
And then I. I kind of. When this original fight happened, I did think Liz was in the wrong, because she does. She pushes her chair. She does the hair tug. And then as they kind of flash back to some things, and Liz says, for three hours, I was telling you to get your hands off me. So I kind of saw Liz's point there, because I do think. I think they were both trying to activate each other and push each other's buttons. What do you think?
Courtney
I didn't think that. I think Joellen was trying to be like, liz, knock it off. You were making such a scene, like, stop. I didn't really see Joellen. Did I miss it? I didn't really see her put her hands on her. I thought Liz was trying to play off anything that had happened. Happened at Rich's performance and just used the car.
Mary
In the car ride, though, Joellen kind of touches Liz. Like, they kind of get into this, like, arm tussle.
Kat or Nat
Yeah.
Mary
And I was like, I didn't notice that before. And so I could see how Liz is like, no, you were getting physical with me. Like, you kind of batted my hand down. So I can see. I can kind of see both sides.
Courtney
But why didn't she say that the first time around? Like, this isn't the first conversation they had, but she did.
Mary
And she's like, I told you to get your hands off me for three hours.
Courtney
No, I guess I'm just saying, like, when they first had their first apology and, like. Like, I felt like she was trying to, like, rewind and be like, well, let me try to figure out how to place blame on Jo Ellen and be like, you started this, but I finished it, basically. And we still don't know what she whispered in her ear at Rich's performance. I wonder if that'll come up in the reunion.
Mary
Oh, I hope so.
Courtney
Me too.
Mary
I hope so.
Courtney
I just think, like, when it comes to them, Joelle is seeking her approval. Liz knows that. Liz also has. And she won't admit it, though, has an insecurity within this group because she's like 10 years older than the next youngest person on the cast.
Mary
Yes.
Courtney
Relating to Kelsey in a way, but was friends with Kelsey because of Big Papa of Miami. And so it's like, it's just. It's just the dynamics are really fun to watch on this show.
Mary
Yes. And then I thought it was super interesting too. Like, Rula is talking to the other women and she was like, I don't want to talk about Brian any more. Like, she was digging up stuff. She is collaborating with people behind the scenes. I'm not stupid, but I'm not going to talk about this anymore. And. And I thought it was really interesting. Rosie, multiple times this episode helped me. Jo Ellen and Rosie says, you wanted the proof. Like, she got you the proof and rules. Like, well, actually, I don't want the proof. I don't want people to talk about this anymore. And if you guys could let Jo Ellen know this, that would be great. And they're like, babe, that's not how this works. You have to talk to Joellen.
Courtney
Yeah. Liz was like, I am not going to say this. You can relay that information yourself, I think, because Rosie's the one that delivered the information. And I think at some point, Rula didn't think that there was proof. And so she's like, yeah, go get the proof. Because in her mind, it wasn't happening, whatever it was. And then when there was actual proof, it's like, well, no, no, no, it's AI or no, I don't want to see that. Like, she keeps moving it. And now she's also, like, embarrassed because her family's going to see this, his family's going to see this. She's going to be the laughing stock because she keeps defending her marriage. And there's so many behind the scenes things to think about. Like, like, would you want that on camera?
Mary
I would have never gone on a reality TV show if I thought Michael was cheating on me.
Courtney
I mean, fair 100. I think Brian probably is the one that's pushing him to be on this tv.
Mary
There's something. They are in on it together. There's something there. I also feel like I. I feel like Brian maybe wanted to do the show so that Rulo would leave him.
Courtney
I think he would have been fine if she wanted to leave him. And it was like on her own accord because he's immature and a loser and like, doesn't want to do the hard work. So he's like, well, I'll just cheat and then she'll go. Because in the reunion preview, it's brought up, didn't you get pregnant with Brian when he was still married? So it's like there is background. It's like the Spanish teacher.
Mary
Alicia's Spanish teacher.
Courtney
What? What happened?
Mary
I really liked my Spanish teacher. We ate fudgesicles together.
Courtney
Okay. Alicia's fear of stairs because her mom
Mary
dropped her down the stairs.
Courtney
And then I thought, oh my God, in the beginning of the episode, your suitcase went down them. Is everything okay in that household? Is this the staircase crime story? Stay away from owls.
Mary
I'm obsessed with Billy and Alicia. This couldn't have been cuter. Let's take a break and talk all about that.

Mary
he tried so hard to make this, like, romantic moment for her. I thought it was so genuine. He went out of his way. He's like, please stand up so I will like, kneel down. She's like, stop being a weirdo.
Courtney
He's like, you gonna bend the knee?
Mary
He's like, I was afraid to do something like this because I was afraid you make fun of me.
Courtney
You could just tell. This was like, so quintessentially them. Where he was like, you wanted something romantic, but, like, that's not us. That's why those stories that she posted a month or so ago, remember, like the cryptic one she deleted? I was like, I'm so confused. It feels like things are so good between you. It feels like he really does respect you and you guys have such a good relationship. I hope, I hope it really was asking for a friend.
Mary
I hope that comes up at the reunion. Do you think it will? I don't know.
Courtney
I don't know because it's also hard too. And I think we've learned this with the summer house reunions where we don't really address anything that happened on the season because of this whole scandal is like when all these things happen off social media and they're not discussed on the show. What that means is then we don't talk about things that happen on the show. Show.
Mary
Yeah, yeah. Do you think they will actually get married, like this summer next season?
Courtney
I don't. I don't know. She talks about on the after show she's like, I want an all white wedding except for some red and some pink for Selena. Some of the girls don't think she will. I would love to see it. I think that would be really fun. I think it would be exciting for them. Well, I hope if they do get married, is that their prenup is that she gets what she. She's deserving of.
Mary
Yes. I feel like they won't actually get
Ad Host (Various Ads)
married because, I mean, it's been nine
Mary
years, you know, I think she just
Courtney
wanted to see a grand gesture. Yeah, exactly. I gotta tell you, though, I was kind of annoyed with Rosie. CHEERING Let them have their moment. I mean, Rich was saying it too, and her ass did look good in those pants, but I was like, okay, like, let them have their moment. This is between them. You guys watch and record. And I think that's so sweet. But at the end of the day, like, let them have this. She's been waiting nine years.
Mary
Yeah.
Courtney
And then they all go to the bar after. As they're all gathering down there, we've got two conversations happening. We've got to have Jo Ellen and Brian switch places. And another awkward stare interaction after those combos took place.
Mary
Yes. I feel like Brian gives Joellen, like, the heebie jeebies, you know, when you, like, pass by someone and literally the hair stands up.
Courtney
Goosebumps.
Mary
Yes. That is Brian for Joellen. I thought it was really interesting that Jo Ellen went to Rula's room and her intention was to show her the video. And Rula's like, nope, I do not want to see it. This has been going on all summer long. You know, I think it's fake. The woman's crazy, and I'm putting this to bed. And Joellen respects her wishes and says, okay, I'm not gonna talk about it anymore. And I thought Joellen did a good job at the dinner later on and. Because, like, Alicia's like, joellen, Joellen, tell her. Tell her you weren't trying to go against her. Tell. And Joan's like, alicia, we already talked in the room, like, I can't talk about this anymore. That was my promise to her.
Courtney
Yeah, so funny. Well, and then like we said earlier, Gary and Brian Talk, and in 30 seconds, Brian's revealing everything. Little did Joellen know, she just needs to put Gary in a room with him.
Mary
And. And then his excuse was, I don't know. You know, I fucked up. I'm. I don't know if it was middle age or too many hormones.
Courtney
We do know he tries the supplies. I Know he is a supplier. Trier. So it could have been a wild coincidence this all happened because he's just trying things that are sent to him. Is it FDA regulated? Doesn't matter. I'll try it.
Mary
He is genuinely so crazy. I would love to get him in front of a psychotherapist and get a diagnosis because something is going on.
Courtney
It's fascinating.
Mary
Genuinely love to watch him. Like I study him.
Courtney
Yeah, you're doing your homework. It's the teacher in you.
Mary
The crazy part is he's a doctor. You got. I didn't like. He is the doctor. I want him to see a doctor.
Courtney
Brian and Gary, they finish first, and Gary books it. Hey, guys. He admitted to it. He admitted to it. He's telling this before he's even told Jo Ellen. At this point, she doesn't know yet. And everyone's like, what?
Mary
What?
Courtney
Like, this is crazy.
Mary
And the way that Brian goes up to have a moment to tell Rula, and he doesn't have that opportunity. You can feel the tension. I wonder if he texted her and that's why she starts crying at the dinner table, because she knew what was gonna happen.
Courtney
The gig is up. Yeah. Brian didn't stick to the story and told Gary everything.
Kat or Nat
Right.
Courtney
Maybe one of the things he was trying was a truth serum. Something that was supplied to him was the truth serum.
Mary
You know what the truth serum is? It's his two shots of tequila.
Courtney
Yes. He's not driving. He carried over his own house. Wait on this. On the side note, too, I'm like, I've never heard of Block Island. Apparently, Rhode Island's Hawaii. I want to go. It looks absolutely beautiful when you go. There you go. Go. Do us a favor. You go to Audrey's, you go to the foot doctor, you go to Pizza Mama, and then you go to Block Island.
Mary
I really want to go to Twin Oaks. That mob place.
Courtney
What's that?
Mary
That's where Alicia had the dinner with her whole family. Twin Oaks, the restaurant.
Courtney
Wait. Breaking news.
Mary
Oh, my God, No.
Courtney
What breaking news? Wes Wilson is not returning to Summer House House.
Mary
I not shocked. That. That.
Courtney
Wow.
Ad Host (Various Ads)
Okay.
Courtney
Can I tell you. You guys, can I tell you who posted that?
Mary
Where is that?
Courtney
Tmz. So this is what I was gonna tell you. My phone is on do not disturb, which means I have, like, all the things turned off. Right? It's like, only certain people can get through. Apparently, I have TMZ turned on because it's Wes Wilson not returning to Summer House next season. His run on Summer House is coming to an end. Because TMZ has learned he won't be returning for season 11. Sources connected to the series tell TMZ west was not picked up for the next season of the Bravo show and will not return when cameras start rolling over the July 4th weekend. That said, our sources say the door isn't completely closed and it's possible he could pop in for a cameo at some point. His departure on the show comes after a drama filled run on the show, including a romance that dominated headlines this year. As we've previously reported, rumors swirled in early March that Wes and Amanda were dating, and the pair confirmed their relationship in a joint statement on March 31. The romance sparked plenty of chatter among fans and cast members. Given Amanda's close friendship with Sierra, who dated Wes previously, the relationship remained blah,
Mary
blah, blah, blah, blah.
Courtney
We've reached out to west and Bravo. So far, no word back.
Mary
Okay, so the question is now, will Amanda be invited back and would she go to the summer house without him?
Courtney
Ooh, great question. What do you think?
Mary
I am going to say no.
Courtney
I don't know. She could handle it.
Mary
I think this might also show us that Sierra could come back. Yeah, I think that might be telling us that. So I was right. He got himself fired. I've been saying that for weeks.
Courtney
Breaking news that it's like, just not
Mary
that shocking to me. Are you shocked?
Courtney
No, I'm more shocked that I've allowed TMZ notifications to come through on my do not disturb, but thankful I did.
Mary
Yes. Oh, yeah.
Courtney
I was trying to figure out how they could do it. I think it makes sense. He doesn't. But I wonder, though, if there are other opportunities, like in the city he might become part of. If they're trying to keep Sierra and she's like, I want summer house. That's mine, then she doesn't need him to be there.
Mary
Right, Right.
Courtney
I wonder when they decided this.
Mary
Just probably very recently, I think. Yeah.
Courtney
Like, you think this is like someone in Bravo was like, harvey, he's not coming back.
Mary
Maybe. Maybe.
Courtney
Okay. Sorry. Breaking news. Wow. Wow.
Mary
Let's. Let's finish up with this dinner because, you know, I hate when they have these forced questions. But the most interesting part here was Rula gets a question, and I feel like she really gave Joellen, like, the out here and kind of let Jo Ellen off the hook. And it feels like she did that out of respect so that Jo Ellen continues to stay quiet. What did you think?
Courtney
Well, her question is, what is the most embarrassing thing your partner has done in public? Because we're playing clamshell confessionals.
Mary
No, I can't stand this shit.
Courtney
But it's like, like everybody knows. What is she supposed to say? What, what should Rula say to that?
Mary
I. I don't know. I don't know.
Courtney
You know, it's like the clamshell confessional. We don't need it. Just put the positive things in there. Okay. Like what was your favorite part of the summer, Rula? What did your husband do that embarrassed the out of you and might cause divorce?
Mary
And Alicia's like, that's God. That's God. That's a sign.
Courtney
It's just the whole thing is like sad because Rule is crying at some point. Brian is like trying to make light of things and it's like, obviously there's an elephant in the room. Everything is awkward. But for Ashley, this dinner, best part of her summer.
Mary
I know. I just don't know about Ashley and Jared. I think they are a little too dorky and won't be able to show any flaws. And now next season they won't have the Audrey storyline because I think it's doing a lot better. I just am really curious what they were share about their lives. I do think it was really telling when Brian kind of cheers the group and goes, oh, thank you everyone. Thank you all. You made us the most popular couple. And I was like, that is so telling of his personality, of his ego. I, I do think he came on this show to get a divorce and it didn't work.
Courtney
Rula, you are strong. You put your ego aside. My ego? Well, your pride for the good of our family. My pride.
Mary
That was so, so tough. And she's just sitting there embarrassed, like I think she might have swallowed the video before the dinner.
Courtney
She definitely saw it. Okay, tell us the wrap ups here because at this point I'm like, okay, well, I guess everything's o. I was
Mary
like, wait, there's still 10 minutes left and we're getting the outros. Like, what? So Rosie. Currently 5,000 square feet, Rosie's house remains under construction, as does her friendship with Kelsey. Despite Rich's crooning, Rosie has no plans to have children. I think they're going to end up doing it. I love Rich. I think he'll go far in March Madness.
Courtney
I hope so. I love him.
Mary
I know. John and her mom continue to work on their relationship. Jo Ellen and Rula have agreed to let bygones be bygones. Although Joellen continues to communicate with the mistress, Liz and Dolores are high on launching their menopause gummies. This Year. While Gary's days of sport fishing are now over, he and Liz scored a big catch. Not only getting a granddaughter, but also gaining a son in law. Isn't it interesting that they are highlighting that boat? There's something there.
Courtney
What could be the reason for highlighting the boat? Nothing illegal, obviously.
Mary
Kelsey and Bill's relationship continues to grow, as do the bills in Kelsey's life now that her ex is no longer paying her rent. Luckily, she learned how to write a check.
Courtney
Okay, first off, nobody writes checks anymore. Do you? When's the last time you wrote a check?
Mary
I don't write checks. Yeah.
Courtney
Secondly, she was writing a check to herself. I don't know if you said it said pay to Kelsey Swanson. Who. Whose textbook is that? Was it bills? She's writing a check to herself because he's like okay, period. She's like comma. So I'm like, okay. Bill doesn't have commas. Kelsey Miami, Big papa did he doesn't it.
Mary
I'm so excited to actually get the timeline. She has to fess up to the truth of the matter.
Courtney
You think she will?
Mary
I think she should. Yeah.
Courtney
I think she should too. But do you think she will?
Mary
Yes.
Courtney
Okay, we'll see.
Mary
Ashley continues to rake in multiple brand deals on social media, but she can't quite influence Jared to let Audrey's go yet. The lease is up this year. The two lovebirds continue to rest in Rhode island for now. Maybe their storyline is going to be like she wants to move or something.
Courtney
Doubtful.
Mary
They're going to make something up. Like fake Alicia and Billie are planning their wedding. Nine years later, Alicia has taken more creative control over Pizza Mama and is working on a crack a line of her own, which I thought was very clever.
Courtney
Mm, I do too.
Mary
Rola forgave Brian about the video and hoped to close the chapter on the most stressful summer of her life life. Unfortunately, fall wasn't much better.
Courtney
Dot, dot, dot.
Mary
You can tell she feels bad, which annoyed me. I think she went to the police station the tracker and they're like, whoa, we're going to arrest him. And then that is actually qualifies under domestic violence. And she's trying to downplay it because she's still choosing to be with this man. I wonder how long he was out of the house for. The mistress picked him up when they were like, you've never done a drive by.
Courtney
It's like that's probably why he put the tracker in her car. Because she has driven by. Because it's news, Brian. Everyone knows. Everyone knows. Their mother knows, their aunts know. I'm like, you know, Alicia's family, they are the nucleus, and they are sending it out to everyone. Okay. They're having family dinner at Pizza Mama, discussing the details, and then they're going through the phone tree.
Mary
You know what's kind of crazy? They never did a meal at Pizza Mama.
Courtney
Is Pizza Mama a restaurant, or is it mostly takeout?
Mary
Oh, they have sit down outside. I follow them on social media at this point.
Courtney
I love that. Maybe there wasn't a big enough area because we went to Angelo's.
Mary
I just thought it was a missed opportunity.
Courtney
Maybe Pizza Mama doesn't do alcohol.
Mary
Oh, maybe.
Courtney
Okay. I'm just trying to make some reason. But we did get a photo shoot of Alicia outside of Pizza Mama.
Mary
She looks stunning.

Stunning.
Courtney
And she's working in there, and she's not allowed to eat in the kitchen because it's illegal. I was like, I thought he was gonna say a hairnet.
Mary
I did think it was really interesting, though, because, like, Liz and Joellen do their own pickup scene.
Courtney
She's not invited to rule us.
Mary
That's true. But Liz is not really engag. And Liz is not saying that much about the situation, which I found kind of interesting.
Courtney
She. Well, because remember when she was mad at Joelle and the enemy of my enemy is my friend, and she and Rula had that relationship, and over the margarita.
Ad Host (Various Ads)
Yeah.
Courtney
I don't know if Liz is like, I'm not going to talk about somebody else's marriage because I don't want someone talking about my marriage. She was also like, well, you know, you weren't like that nice to her. She's like, I texted her twice, and then she responded, ty, like, that's kind of nice. Like, what did you expect her to say to you? My God, you were so right. I know. You wanted to be right. You were right. I know.
Mary
I know.
Courtney
Oh, I can't wait for the reunion.
Mary
It's going to be a good reunion. I loved this show so much. I'm obsessed with Dr. Brian, and I need to know more about him.
Courtney
Oh, man. Too much. Great season. Great first season of a show. It sounds like they're also picking up up the camera soon, so that's exciting. Which means it probably sounds like they're all back. Unless they don't want to be.
Mary
What if I'm there when they're recording? I didn't even think about that.
Courtney
I probably will think, oh, my God, now what would you like to do there while. If they were recording?
Mary
I don't know. I just would like to see how. Oh it's.
Courtney
You want to see how the sausage is made?
Mary
Yes, yes.
Courtney
You want to see how the pizza is created?
Mary
Yes, exactly.
Courtney
Okay. Okay. Well, thoughts and prayers.
Mary
Thank you. Thank you. Okay, well, I'll see you tomorrow and we'll talk.
Courtney
Atlanta can't wait. Okay, bye. Everyone,
