Mary
Welcome back to 2 Judgment.
Pura Calm Partnership Announcer
Hey, girls.
Mary
This is Mary from the Bay and
Courtney
it's Courtney from la. Happy Thursday.
Mary
It's a big day in my life, Courtney. Because I believe today Taylor Swift is getting married and that tomorrow is the thousand person giant spectacle.
Courtney
Okay, so wedding today, reception tomorrow.
Mary
In the press it is saying today
Courtney
is the rehearsal dinner.
Mary
But I have chosen to believe today is like the small, intimate nuptials. But I could be wrong. I cannot wait to see. I know they're gonna take everyone's phones. The guests have signed NDAs, but I'm assuming on 4th of July we're gonna get people talking to the press and typing into doom Wa. And I saw a Bud Light truck going in there today. There's lobster. I saw eggs. I saw a castle. Eggs.
Courtney
Like, like, like a dozen eggs, like cartons and cartons of eggs. Or like Easter eggs.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
You know, she loves an Easter egg.
Mary
You're so right. No actual eggs that I believe will be eaten at some point because apparently Also tomorrow is 12 hours long.
Courtney
A 12 hour reception or wedding or whatever the details are. Can I ask you a question as our Taylor Swift? What would you like to call yourself? I'm a swiftie, I guess as the, as the expert. Swifty over here. Where is she getting married today? Are both events at MSG or is the thing for tomorrow at msg and is she doing something smaller somewhere else today?
Mary
I'm hearing that it's both at msg and today is supposed to be a hundred people and it's going to end at 10:30 because they've had to say a lot of things because they've had to clear the area and the streets. I saw this interview with the New York mayor and they're asking him and he just doesn't say anything. The police department is now, I think, confirming that it's happening. It makes so much sense, like you've been saying because of security. But also I think they Just want something enclosed because of helicopters. I just hope we get to see some photos. Like, do you think she'll do, like, People magazine or Vogue?
Courtney
I was going to ask you what magazine to get the official photos.
Mary
It's gotta be Vogue.
Courtney
I just feel like the Vogue isn't there. The Vogue curse. Like, if you do a Vogue wedding, you're destined for divorce.
Mary
I hope not. That did cross my mind today. Will they make it? I'm also like, when are they gonna have babies? She's like, 37. Are they gonna get right on it? Clearly she's frozen her eggs. I just think about these things.
Courtney
37.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
1989.
Courtney
Right. 36. That because she's December 13th.
Mary
I think you might. You don't call yourself a swifty?
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
I don't know.
Courtney
I know the randomest details about the randomest things, and then I don't know anything else. Why would I know something like that?
Mary
Why would I know that?
Courtney
Is there a 13 involved in the date? Today is the third. Is that the closest they could get to 13?
Mary
That's a good point. I was adding up the numbers. Like 7 plus 3 is 10 and then 26. So didn't. Didn't really work. I can't wait to see the celebs that go. Everyone's pretty scared to talk about it, it seems. Because of the NDAs. I think we will get official photos from a Vogue. I feel like she's got to wear, what, at least three looks?
Courtney
Oh, I would say at least. Now, here's the question I have for you. Is she going to be performing?
Mary
So I kind of think so. Maybe one love song that she wrote especially for Travis. What do you think?
Courtney
Well, I've heard that Stevie Nicks is performing and that she loves Stevie Nicks. And so I have this theory in my head that she's going to be like, oh, my God.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
They're going to be in the audience, you know, watching Stevie. And Stevie's going to be like, taylor, get up here. She's like, no, Stevie, I couldn't. And then Stevie's like, no, no, but, Taylor, you gotta come on. She's like, no, I couldn't.
Courtney
And it goes back and forth a little bit till finally she's.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
I guess I should. And then she performs, like, a brand
Courtney
new song she's written for Travis.
Mary
I love it. I also heard Tim McGraw is going to be performing, which makes sense. I heard that the five starters for the Knicks are going. Well, they live at msg, right?
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Yeah. Yes, yes.
Courtney
They live, eat and breathe there. The funny Thing is, is this should be our generation's Tom and Giselle. Bex and Posh.
Mary
Yeah. Like a royal wedding.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Yeah.
Courtney
And for some reason it feels like there's a lot of negativity surrounding it because of all the closures. It's like this big weekend and you're shutting down New York.
Mary
I'm very excited, so I hope that we get to see the flowers. They kept the engagement so secretive for about two weeks, so it might take some time, but I'm excited for them. I just loved following her all around the world for the ERAS tour. So I'm excited for her.
Courtney
Predict one of her dresses.
Mary
Oh, God.
Courtney
I, I, I have one thing off.
Mary
Maybe more than one.
Courtney
See, I picture like those like long live dresses she would wear that were like big fairy tale poofy. Like I could see her doing something like that and then like removing it.
Mary
I also feel like she'll do kind of an old Hollywood look at some point. And obviously the bold red lip, like
Courtney
a slip dress, low back.
Mary
I like that. I, I just, you know, I have my thing about her hair and those bangs and the color. I just can't get over it.
Courtney
I know, I know. But looking good as of recent.
Mary
No, I don't know about that. But okay, let's move on because yesterday we said that Liz is leaving Rhode island and Courtney had predicted this and now she's been in our comments and then she posted that comment as a story. Can you please read it? Because it made me a little nervous.
Courtney
Oh, nervous for what? Wait, why?
Mary
Because yesterday I was like, they're clearly hiding something. And she's like, I'm not hiding anything. I'm like, ah, I'm scared of them.
Courtney
She's coming after you now.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
It was like she was like copy
Courtney
pasting from every person commenting about her departure. Yes, it's fascinating to me how everyone assumes my reason for leaving involves being afraid of quote, unquote skeletons, dot dot quote unquote jail, eye roll emoji, etc. This is not new gossip.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
It has been the local slander for years.
Courtney
If there were even an ounce of validity to it, I'd not have ever gone on a show. I realize that for some it feels good to speculate, hate, and defame my character. But I've never been investigated nor involved in any criminal case. It's preposterous and people should know how utterly ridiculous it sounds. Sorry to disappoint. It's wild to me how people feel at liberty to openly state such absurd claims as facts. Now that I have Time on my hands. I will start the process of holding those originating and spreading such fiction accountable.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Kissy face.
Courtney
The last thing has got you a
Mary
little bit that made me a little scared for myself.
Courtney
Everything we say is a legend. I was watching the Valley after show and then immediately right after the Rhode island after show started and Liz is on there and the delivery of lines, the way that she's like speaking about things is so confident and so matriarch and queen bee. And then you see her at the reunion where she's kind of back down and then her departure. I feel like it's really about the portrayal and how she didn't come out on top from this season. She didn't like what she saw on film. She did not like how she was edited. She did not like that Jo, Ellen and Alicia were getting a lot of attention. She thought it should have been her. That's what I'm taking from it.
Mary
I'm truly shocked if she doesn't have anything to hide that she wouldn't want to come back and try to change the narrative and react differently in scenes. I'm very interested in why she decided to eliminate herself.
Courtney
It.
Mary
It doesn't make sense to me unless
Courtney
you're hiding something or you have just such thin skin and you can't handle it. It is tough to be a housewife. But I also feel like, and this is what we said yesterday is like you're not a first season housewife. This show has been on for 20 years. So I'm sure Dolores prepared her or tried to prepare her or at least told her what she could expect and it just didn't go her way.
Mary
Right. Even Andy, remember when he had all the women in the clubhouse for the premiere, he basically said to them, like, your life is about to change. You've signed up for something that is going to change your life.
Courtney
Hopefully the good outweighs the bad. But just know that there is bad that does come with it. There is chatter, there is conversation, there is negativity. But hopefully you feel that there's actually more good that comes to your life. You get more money, you get more brand deals, you get infamy, you know,
Mary
and his number one thing was like, don't read the comments.
Courtney
Don't read the comments. Mary tells me that too.
Mary
Don't read the comments.
Courtney
Yeah, I mean, I. I'm kind of bummed she's leaving. I think this cast was so good and I feel like there's so much left on the cutting room floor in regards to resolution there. And seeing what would have happened. And also seeing the course correction of season one to season two especially because when it comes to a new cast, they're all doing it at the same time. Part of the reason you've liked Salt Lake is because like the cast has somewhat stayed these corg women. And so watching them go through it all together is kind of fun.
Mary
I was reflecting about the Orange county women the other day and thinking about they really haven't changed or let it go to their head for the most part. What do you think?
Courtney
Oh, I disagree. I think to the core they are the probably the same people, but I definitely think they should. I think Shannon is a completely different person than when she started the show. I think so many of them are completely different. I think they came in as housewives, literally. I think they came in with their partner being this alpha, being the man of the house, being the one in control, leading the way. And then I think they realized that they could be independent. And I think that that's changed them personality wise. I think a lot of who they have been has been through it. But I do think that a lot of them change and I think, you know, whether better for worse. I think this is their, their best version of themselves compared to when they started the show.
Mary
I'm also thinking it from the perspective of who has let the fame go to their head the most. That's how I was thinking about it.
Courtney
Okay.
Mary
Because I don't think for the most part the fame has got to their head and that's why I think makes them good housewives and fun to watch still.
Courtney
Well, it's a level of delusion and I mean that complimentary.
Mary
Oh, absolutely, absolutely. I just think about those girls on the red carpet. We asked them to do the okay, wow trend and some of them knew what it was, some of them didn't and they just like throw themselves in. I'm like, you're like a 60 year old woman and you're willing to ham it up with us. It's just inspiring.
Courtney
Have a good time. And they're working it.
Mary
Yes, yes.
Courtney
Seasoned veterans. You know, can I just say too, just on the World cup front, I wanted to talk about the fact that the USA won yesterday.
Mary
Did you go out and watch it?
Courtney
I did.
Mary
Thank you.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
You did. Where'd you end up going?
Mary
We went to this new spot by my house and very kid friendly. They had all the sound on. They had like four TVs and I will say about seven o' clock because we were still and that last goal and everyone's screaming. Charlie started freaking out. He was like. Like, it scared him. And it was past his bedtime, so we had to go. But it was very exciting.
Courtney
Was he in his USA sweatshirt?
Mary
He was.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
I'll send you a photo.
Mary
And Michael and I both wore USA hats.
Courtney
Good job. Good job. So I went out and the people at the bar were doing shoeys. And are you familiar with the shoey? No.
Mary
Tell me about it.
Courtney
So you may have seen it before on a Vanderpump Rules episode with Brock. And it's where they fill their shoe with alcohol and then chug it and then they put their shoe back on their foot.
Mary
Now, these are your actual friends that.
Courtney
Absolutely not. These are people at the bar. I've never met them in my life.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
I do not know them.
Mary
I just don't know why you would do that.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
There's a perfectly good glass sitting right that the drink came from. I was like, we've gotta find something else. I worry about fungus, mold.
Courtney
Anyways, Go usa. And that red card, I don't even want to discuss it. I'm.
Mary
I know they won with 10 players on the field, so good for them.
Courtney
Buy it. Anyways, we're up against Belgium next. Go usa. Let's do this.
Mary
And that's on Monday.
Courtney
See?
Mary
Yes. Yes. Okay. Last thing. Lindsay, the Bravo holic, made this video this morning about the Melania arrest. So Melania commented on the mug shot that's been circling around. She's like, that's not me. That's AI. You know, shit happens.
Courtney
It does confirm the arrest, though, in that.
Mary
Yes. And Lindsay's saying today that it might have been her sister Gabriella.
Courtney
I have heard that it was her sister that called, which has to be really difficult to have to make that. That phone call.
Mary
It's sad.
Courtney
Yeah, it's just sad. She's our little Melania, right? First you were one, then you were two.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Melania.
Courtney
Melania. All right, should we take a break and come back with the Valley?
Mary
Sounds good.

I have to ask,
Courtney
how you doing?
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Everything is all right.
Mary
How you doing?
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
I'm all right. Everything is all right.
Courtney
I do realize that we go very far from the theme song now, but again, the best part of the show.
Mary
Okay, Courtney. Because we were together, she's like, okay, we, we gotta do it together. Like, we've got to make a video. I'm like, okay, sure. This is right before I'm leaving for the airport. I'm like, whatever. Yeah.
Courtney
I feel like I'm forcing her to do this guy.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
I'm sorry. We do this every single week.
Courtney
Why wouldn't we do one in the space of each other? And then I. I held her against her will, apparently, to do this, except that she emerged with a leather jacket on, she had her sunglasses ready to go, and she said, what can I use as a prop for a water balloon?
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
So don't let her make you think that I forced her to do this.
Mary
Okay. And then we got out some tennis rackets, you know, for the guitars, clearly, and we made this very silly video. But I'm like, I don't know if we can release this. I'm like, I don't know if this is really funny or absolutely humiliating. I don't know if I'm prepared to do that.
Courtney
I responded, both. It is hilarious and it is absolutely humiliating.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
And you know, there is a level
Courtney
of cringe that it comes with of when you create content here and there.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
And so it's like, do you lean
Courtney
in or do you not?
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
And at this point, I feel like we are single handedly keeping this theme song alive.
Mary
I was like, gosh, Courtney, if we only lived in the same place, we could recreate the entire theme song. I was like, I was envisioning it. I'm like, courtney needs to fly up here. We can go to my parents house. We can sit in the lounge chairs and be Janet and Jason. We can get water balloons. Like, I have a vision in my head.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Wait, I love this. Next time I'm up, let's do it. Well, we, we have time.
Courtney
Because since this season's probably ending soon, we could probably just recreate it for the next season.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Oh, my God. I would love to do that with you so much. I would love to do that with you too. We're gonna script it out. We'll have a whole. Perfect. We got this.
Courtney
We need to find some bright colored
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
outfits because again, the theme song. Sunny disposition. Everyone's all right. They're in neon colors. We're in a neighborhood. We're barbecuing. We're laying out. We're having car washes, we're throwing water balloons. What are we really on? Double decker buses. Cutting our heads open. We are uncomfortable. We are triggered.
Mary
I think Zach being drunk during this head injury actually helped him because he was more flimsy.
Courtney
Yeah. That could have been so much worse. That was actually frightening. They kept replaying it both on the episode and in the after show. And I'm like, please stop showing me this clip. It's actually scary.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
And the fact that he was looking
Courtney
down for wiping the bird poop off,
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
I'm like, it could have come straight
Courtney
on into the front of his head. He's so lucky the way he was positioned.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Did they sue the bus company? What are the rules?
Courtney
Are you not supposed to actually stand? This whole thing was absolutely insane.
Mary
I don't know how that happened because they clearly drive these streets all the time. You would think to say everyone has to be underneath during this part or no standing. Maybe he wasn't supposed to stand. I am very curious if he got money out of this. Did he actually have a concussion? It sounds like in the after show, the next day, his face totally blew up. I will say, I feel like out of this episode, we got a couple costumes. Like, if you go to BravoCon, you could, if you choose to dress up, come as Zach or Britney and wear the headpiece. Also, Tom Schwartz, the mime clown, emo, sexy, goth.
Courtney
He emerged from the bathroom and I was like, this is actually just sad. This is really sad. Schwartz, what has happened?
Mary
He went up to the window. Like the Dorit moment, you know, when she goes to the window and does a photo.
Courtney
Teddy's event. Yeah.
Mary
Yes. I was dying. For me, he is such comedic relief and actually himself and authentic and doesn't want to be involved in the drama. And I think he wants to resolve the drama and help people get along and just have a good time. I actually enjoy him. He, to me, is also a friend of the show. It's not like he's a main cast member, per se.
Courtney
Sure, he provides the comedic relief, but I'm also watching him and I'm just feeling like sad boy. Like, I watch there feels like a sad darkness there. And it's almost like the way that he wants to be so conflict averse is a trigger for him. Fighting happens.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
He's like, oh, God, no.
Courtney
Everything about Tom Schwartz is just sad. But weirdly, I feel like when he's trying to, as you've said, is like, change the tone of the group and,
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
like, be silly and just have a good time.
Courtney
It's almost like he's like, these weren't issues on Vanderpump Rules because we were all degenerates, right? Like, here we're trying to be upstanding citizens, and in Vanderpump Rules, that was never a goal. We were all terrible people. We were all the Spider man meme pointing at each other. And yet on this show, we're not allowed to do that. What do you mean? We can't blackout drink because people are going to hold us accountable for our behavior that we do when we don't remember. That's rude.
Mary
Well, and they all seem to like having a good time moment that stood out to me. This episode was when Michelle came back wasted and talking to Britney, Jasmine and Zach about how Kristen is saying they are wasted all the time and have a drinking problem. Like, everyone seems to be labeled with having a drinking problem and they talk about it while they're drunk. It's just so, so meta.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Me and J and Kristen saying that
Courtney
last week when they were like, these people have a drinking problem. It's like they technically aren't wrong, but
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
they're utilizing putting other people down in
Courtney
order to, like, bring Danny up. So it's freaking weird. By the way, though, when they get drunk, they're not like groping people. They're not being super annoying. Danny, you're annoying. Both sober and drunk. Like, just shut up. Just shut up. He can't handle not being the center of attention. It drives him crazy. And he can't understand why this group doesn't like him because he's like, I'm a child actor. I'm well respected in the church and in this group, I'm not the number one guy.
Mary
This episode also proved to me, like, I feel like Nia, you know, was like, don't dance here. Don't gyrate your hips. And she tries to say it slyly to him. And then this triggered him and set him off and he couldn't get past it. And I feel like this behavior Was like, so normal for Nia to see. She's able to ignore it. She's trying to help him in the bust. She's constantly trying to help him and is so used to this behavior that it's her norm. And that's how you know she's truly protecting him. Because this is like, what is that? Water under the bridge or what's the one. What's the phrase? The one.
Courtney
The back one. Like water off a duck's back.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Yeah.
Courtney
Well, I think as Jasmine said, Nia's got five under five talking about Danny. She means his height.
Mary
No, Danny Pellegrino. When he was on, he was five under five. Under five. Because it's under five feet that I
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
was meaning right there.
Mary
So good.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
It's so good.
Courtney
Hungry Little Elf.
Mary
Completely.
Courtney
And I'm sorry to the elves.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
It's not.
Courtney
It's not your fault.
Mary
When we recreate the music video, I was thinking, God, I really don't want to be Nia and have to do the. The water and be sexy on the car, but I also don't want to be Danny. So we're gonna have to like Rochambeau for that one.
Courtney
Yeah, well, you know, you're in charge of casting. You just give me the worst ones of the groups. I'll take it. I'll take it.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Okay. God.
Mary
What if we could get other creators to do this with us?
Courtney
Put this in your 5050 goals for the year. Okay, let's start back at the beginning of the episode. So we return back. I forget that it's actually Schwartz's birthday and this is a birthday lunch for him. Like, oh, my God, forget we're celebrating three birthdays. Schwartz, Zach and Dani is sobbing. The group is attacking her. I still don't understand why we had to put this sixam together. This is a terrible group to put together. But she's overwhelmed because this conversation is actually triggering something that she cannot talk about on camera.
Mary
I appreciate the production shut down cameras and she probably revealed to them what she wants to say but isn't ready to say it. And I have a feeling we will end of the season know what she's talking about. And you can kind of tell, which is a lot to take on.
Courtney
The preview for next week is like,
Mary
when we're going to learn a little
Courtney
bit more about it. When she's talking to Lala, it made me feel bad for her, and I feel like it's such an unpopular opinion to show empathy towards Janet this season. But at this lunch, Michelle is saying to Nia, like, She's sorry for how she said it, like, the words that she used. She's not sorry for talking about what Dani did.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
And Nia's like, of course.
Courtney
She doesn't have to be.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
I'm like, so what's the issue? Issue?
Courtney
Because you guys keep bringing this up, the group keeps bringing up that Dani
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
is annoying and Janet is almost becoming
Courtney
the scapegoat, in a way, for this.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
I just need the group to say,
Courtney
we don't like you.
Mary
I know. I. I completely agree with you. And then Nia also trying to throw people under the bus at the same time. Like, in her confessional. Talking about Jesse's so inappropriate, too. Bringing up a time with Jason. It's like, like you said, the Spider man meme with all.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Well, it's like two wrongs don't make a right.
Courtney
By the way, Jesse was freaking annoying in Santa Barbara last year. It was uncomfortable.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
And just because he did that and
Courtney
they're not talking about doesn't mean that that's okay and that that makes Danny's behavior okay.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
At the end of the day, they
Courtney
don't care that Danny's drinking. It's weird that he's hiding it, and they don't like how he is when he drinks.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
So it's like the act of drinking
Courtney
is not what's bothering them. It's the behavior of what he does when he drinks.
Mary
Ding, ding, ding.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
And so saying, danny, we don't care if you drink, but if you can't control your drinking, then we don't want you to drink.
Courtney
That's what the whole issue is that
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
he's not seemingly comprehending.
Mary
I honestly feel like at the reunion, he has to show up and say, I'm actually working the program, because I feel like that is the only way he could possibly come back from this.
Courtney
He's gonna say he's talked to his therapist, AKA his pastor. He's gonna talk about life coach, and he's gonna say, you know, I think this was, like, blown out of proportion. Nia's gonna defend him on it. The fact that we see in the preview next week that Lala, who. I'm like, stop making Lala so likable because Danny is so awful that Lala has to, like, talk to Nia to go through Danny. Like, there's, like, a singular line of the three of them, like, connecting the dots. This is crazy. Go talk to your husband, lala. Good one, Danny. Oh, he's really got her with that line.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Ooh, I'd rather have no husband than
Courtney
have you as one?
Mary
Completely. I can't stand this man. He really gives me the heebie jeebies and his voice, even. But his voice changes when he drinks. Like, you can seriously tell. Immediately his voice goes higher and. And you just know.
Courtney
Has the same thing over and over. He has the same words that he's saying. Triggered. Uncomfortable.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
I can't dance.
Courtney
Lacey talking about the fact that he's being footloosed, that did make me laugh,
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
But I'm like, it's not the dancing. Nobody even said anything about his dancing. And I'm sorry. He's not Magic Mike. I watched the three of them up on that stage and said, I don't
Courtney
want any of them sweating and grinding on me.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
No, thank you.
Courtney
Yeah, no, thank you.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Not that I'm uncomfortable or triggered. I just don't want it.
Mary
I think Nia was like, please don't embarrass me. I. I don't want you to dance, so I'm gonna blame it on everyone else because you're embarrassing as a dancer, and I don't like it. Magic Mike, she was like, when he
Courtney
was hot, when he was still kind of an actor and he had, like, swag. It was hot to go to the clubs and, like, dance with him. And now I see what he's doing, and it's actually giving me the ick. And I want to like my husband. And there's so many icks I'm getting that I'm trying just to eliminate ones that could be, like, easy get r icks because the gyrating of the hips isn't working. And someone told Danny he was a good dancer.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
And it's Nia.
Mary
The word ick is the perfect word to describe Dani. Let's take a break and talk about Jesse and Michelle.

Mary
I was very proud of Michelle in this episode. I think it was super sweet. I'm sure Michelle had to pay for the gift, but I think it was super sweet that they decided to go together to buy something for Isabella. And I love that she confronted him and was just like, hey, you know Lacey's gonna be here today. I've been having a good time with you, but it makes me feel really uncomfortable and awkward seeing you guys so affectionate. So can you just try to do that behind closed doors when I'm around? And he is like totally like. I mean, I had to experience that with you and Aaron and I feel like a lot different because the whole time in her relationship she wanted affection from him and so she's seen what she wanted the whole time. So it's like really a deep cut for her.
Courtney
Yeah, I'm like two sides of the
Mary
coin here in a way.
Courtney
Like Michelle, you can't request that when you had a similar situation with Aaron and Jesse was watching that. Except for, as you said, she was getting from Aaron what she wanted from Jesse. And so when she sees that Jesse's actually capable of being this person, it cuts deeper because she's like, man, if he could have been like that, we could have still maybe been together. We have good chemistry as friends now and as co parents, and it's like, we can get along. And when I see that, it does bum me out because I wish that I saw that. But I also feel like she can't request it in the way.
Mary
And the way that he's also taking
Courtney
it is like, don't throw your relationship in my face when he's like, but that's what you did to me.
Pura Calm Partnership Announcer
I don't know.
Mary
I don't think Michelle's like such a PDA person.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
I mean, we saw the scene of
Courtney
them holding the hands across the table in Hawaii.
Mary
That's like, kind of nothing to me.
Courtney
I love Michelle, so I'm still going to be team Michelle in anything when it comes to the two of them.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
But I also think it's hard to
Courtney
say, hey, I'm glad you're moving on,
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
but it's also a situation. I would never hang out with you. Once we were divorced or broken up or separated, we would never be in the same room together. So the fact that I actually have to put in some sort of ground rules for us is not.
Courtney
Yeah, yeah.
Mary
Also I have been to parties where people are divorced and bring their new significant others.
Courtney
But I mean, is it within a year of them being divorced?
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
They're not even divorced yet.
Mary
Good point, Good point.
Courtney
Like, I think down the line, people can be in the same room and at the same parties and probably maybe connect. I think there's people who have really good relationships that they're like, we were good married, we better off as friends, but they're still like, in the thick of it in a way. And I feel like Jesse was utilizing ways to, like, hold her. Not captive isn't the right word, but this loan that he's like, well, no, now you need to pay for, he won't sign the papers. It's like ways for him to still have power over her. And then she also has to film with him. She also has to raise Isabella together. So a lot of things she has to, like, bite her tongue on in order to. To make things okay.
Mary
And let's talk a little bit about, like, how Jesse and Britney got on the fight on the bus.
Courtney
Britney is so wasted here. Wait, can I. You guys, this is mean, and I'm sorry, but I have to talk about this. This red dress, it is a low back and she has high waisted Spanx on from the surgery. I, I assume she's wearing it for the surgery, but it's like, why are you wearing a low back?
Mary
I don't have the answer for you.
Courtney
I don't need an answer. It's just food for thought. It just, it's just a weird thing that I kept seeing. I didn't get it.
Mary
You were focused on it.
Courtney
I was focused on it. But yeah. Talk about the combo.
Mary
Well, Britney's wasted asking Jesse for an apology because Jesse compared Britney to Jax and Jesse's just like, he doesn't really want to apologize. And Lacy's like, jesse, just apologize. I will say I think Lacy is really good for him because she wants resolution and she wants everyone to get along with the group. But then they start talking about introducing Lacy to Isabella and then they talk about this more in the after show and the double standard that Jesse has with Michelle. So basically Jesse introduced Lacy super early on and behind Michelle's back. Yes. And Isabella came home one day with like a braid in her hair. And Michelle's mom's like, oh, that braid's so pretty. Who did that for you? And my dad's friend. And that was Lacy. I would have been fucking pissed. You introduce Isabella to someone that's just inappropriate. And then he, he is claiming also in the after show, like he's very respectful when Lacy's daughter comes in their bedroom and gets up from the bed
Courtney
in the morning before she gets up because he hasn't had the conversation with Lacey's ex husband. Liar.
On Deck Announcer 2
I.
Mary
Well, Michelle kind of says like, I've literally been on FaceTime with Isabella and Jesse and Lacy are in the bed together and Jesse has a shirt off.
Courtney
So it's just like it's rules for the not for me. Which is again why these hypocrites are making good television is a good. I don't know. I'm trying to make it good.
Mary
This episode was fun to me. I feel like they were able to have fun at the club, which was actually wild after Zach's incident.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Like they all still went out.
Courtney
He said though in the after show he said, I made the bus drop them off at the club because if they went home I was going to be pissed.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
So like I waited to seek medical help so that they could be dropped off. But they weren't even dropped off at the club. They were dropped off at Mr. Flamingo,
Courtney
which have we been there?
Mary
Is that they're in Puerto Vallarta.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
That's what I thought.
Courtney
I'm like, I think we went there.
Mary
Oh, Bachelorette.
Courtney
It's like a corner bar, I want to say. And it's like, but it's open.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
When they went there, I was like,
Courtney
we definitely went there. But it was like 105 degrees and 100 humidity.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
But they get dropped off there. And then the club must be by. But it was so funny when he goes, oh, the hospital's right next to the club.
Courtney
How convenient.
Mary
Also, Puerto Vallarta is very far from Putamita. It's at least an hour drive. At least.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
That's why Janet had to pee in a cup.
Mary
I know that was strange.
Courtney
Okay. Sometimes I think she's a little performative of the things that she's doing where it's like, okay, I'm gonna like pee in the cup. And then on the after show, she's like, I used to keep a Gatorade bottle in my car. And I'm like, you know, I know you probably think that's like, funny, but that's not like, for a public forum. Those are things that we keep to our close circle.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Jason had no idea. He just said, oh, Janet,
Mary
I agree with you on the performative side.
Courtney
Yeah. It's just kind of like, okay. I feel like she thought maybe it would be funny. And I'm like, so now you're gonna carry a cup of piss?
Mary
Those roads are bumpy.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
There's potholes.
Courtney
It was like beer colored. And I was like, oh, God, we all need to hydrate.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
And then I was like, you know
Courtney
what you should do? You should put it near Danny because I bet he'd pick it up and drink it.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Because, you know, with what Mary, at
Courtney
the end of the day, if Danny's drinking, if he thinks. Thinks it's such a big deal around this group, don't do it.
Mary
Him getting into them all stuffing into that van at the end.
Courtney
Thank you for production for putting them all in one van.
Mary
Right? And Danny is clearly wasted. He goes to the back and he's laying down, thinking he would get a whole road to himself.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
He's cars like, Mary, he is car sick. The car hasn't even started.
Courtney
He is feeling car sick.
Mary
And I feel like Nia was trying to say in so many ways, like, she just kept on saying, everyone is in the car now, Daniel. Everyone is in the car.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Who's in the bus? Nia. Nia, recite every person on the bus who's in it.
Mary
And when he said, don't dig your fingernails in my stomach, she's like, are you fucking kidding? Me right now. Shut the fuck up. We are on camera. Every single person is in this car. And then he's just like, I can't deal with this crap. Are you kidding me?
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Are you kidding me?
Mary
He really becomes a villain.
Courtney
They called him Danny Darko his first season. And it's true. Fingernails in the stomach is like. You know when you like kick someone under the table?
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Yes. And they're like, why are you kicking me? You're like, shut up. What do you mean why am I kicking you? I'm not kicking you. Shut up.
Mary
I don't know how she hasn't completely lost it on him.
Courtney
Him. She is someone who is like, you submit to your husband. So even though he's the worst, this is as you said, this is like normal for her. Like Daniel gets drunk and just like
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
he's being silly guys.
Courtney
He just gets so nauseous.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
He gets so nauseous. Like, yeah, sometimes you do when you
Courtney
over drink, sometimes you get nauseous, sometimes you get sick.
Mary
And then him popping up at the end and like, is it midnight?
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Is it my birthday? Everyone, it's my birthday. About me.
Courtney
Silence. Oh, God. He is very tough to watch him continually. Like when Michelle gets up and she dances and also like single Michelle is so fun. Her on top of the double decker bus dancing and her tits just pop out.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Oh no, not again.
Courtney
And Zach's like, you're gonna cost production so much money for the amount of times they have to censor your with them going like skinny dipping in a non skinny dipping area with children there. But then her also getting up and dancing on the bars. Like she's having like the best time because she's had a constant drunk all day. Like she never got to that point where she was like, oh God, I have to go back out.
Mary
No, she just kept having a good time.
Courtney
Yeah. And Danny being like, I'm uncomfortable, I'm uncomfortable.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
And I was like, hey, Danny, stop looking.
Courtney
You don't need to sit there with your little vodka. You know, he's drinking a vodka soda too because it's the less calories the least amount.
Pura Calm Partnership Announcer
Oh my God.
Courtney
And he's just sitting there drinking, staring at her.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
I don't know.
Courtney
Danny, go somewhere else then. You're looking to start a problem and
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
you are the problem. Go look in the mirror in the bathroom and point to yourself, dude.
Mary
I wonder if the next day he gets anxiety from drinking because that, that often can happen to me and I've done nothing wrong or nothing bad and I like freak out because alcohol makes you anxious? So I wonder what he feels like the next day.
Courtney
I feel like Nia is like, Daniel, it wasn't you. Everyone was coming at you, and you were just gyrating your hips. You were having a good time. It was weird because, like, Nia probably would never dance on the bar. It was weird when Michelle and I could see that, because why does she get to dance on the bar but you can't dance on the stage?
Mary
It's like, I don't know.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
The railings are so tall. Daniel might fall through them.
Courtney
He's so tiny. It's a safety hazard.
Mary
Nia in the after show was basically taking responsibility for his. His
Courtney
outburst.
Mary
She basically took responsibility for saying he shouldn't dance and. And his behavior after saying that.
Courtney
She started it.
Mary
Yes.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Yes.
Courtney
I also felt she was joking a little bit because she was embarrassed.
Mary
I don't know. I just felt really bad for her.
Courtney
Well, she's in the marriage.
Mary
It's her choice.
Brooke Devard
Yeah.
Courtney
Can we talk about the Applebees card?
Brooke Devard
Okay.
Courtney
Honestly, if I was a dancer and someone slipped me a $50 Applebee's card, like, that would be a big win for me, I think, because I'm probably really only getting 10, maybe 20 people aren't carrying $50 bills. Do those even exist anymore?
Mary
They do.
Courtney
They do. Okay.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
I. I love.
Mary
I love to get $50 bills, actually.
Courtney
Where do you get them?
Mary
From the bank. You can get them out of the ATM now.
Courtney
Oh, wow.
Mary
Because now at ATMs, you can pick how you want your money.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Oh, wow.
Mary
Paid the $50 person. Wait, wait. We also. $2 are great. A $2 bill for a tip. You give them a couple twos. It's so fun.
Courtney
Monopoly money.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Do they even have $2 bills?
Courtney
I feel like the Rose bowl flea market, the only place I know that will give $2 bills out.
Mary
Oh, yeah, you can get $2 bills too. My friend, when he goes to Mexico, he specifically goes and gets $2. There's bills for tipping. Like, you get a beer and then you give $2 as the tip.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
And then he walks in. They're like, oh, that's two dollar bill.
Courtney
It's his name bill.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
That would even be better.
Courtney
$50 gift card. I was like, that's a huge win because I'm probably getting max $20 stuck in by one person, you know? But if you're sliding in and I'm gonna hold it between my cheeks. A $50 Applebee's card card. Thank you.
Mary
You got lunch and dinner probably.
Courtney
Honestly, though, in la, I don't Know
Mary
where there's an Applebee's?
Courtney
Yeah. Wait, okay, so there is one. Oh, okay. The closest one to me is in Inglewood.
Mary
Okay.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
So it's not too far.
Courtney
It's 40 minutes from me right now. But for 50 bucks free, I'll drive.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Get it or go to Applebee's.
Mary
I can pay for everyone's lunch today.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Where'd you get the gift card?
Courtney
Funny story. You know that guy from Vanderpump rules.
Mary
That's a great story, by the way.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
It really is a great story.
Mary
Okay, let's talk about Britney crying in the club at the end. Also showing the bartender pictures of Cruz.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
There was a. This was a very sad moment earlier in the day. Has found out that Kristen has said
Courtney
she has a drinking problem.
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
Luke and Kristen, she's so drunk, they have to walk her to the club
Courtney
next place
Unidentified Female Co-host (possibly friend of Mary and Courtney)
because she said, just because you called me a drunk doesn't mean I'm not gonna drink alcohol.
Mary
I know. Then, like, she confronts Jesse and then she's really upset about Kristen, but she's not gonna talk about it with Kristen right now. But she's just like crying into her arms. I did think it was really interesting when Jasmine was like, she doesn't even hang out with him off camera. I was like, ooh, that's tea.
Courtney
I started to think about this when they were saying, like, Nia and Kristin aren't friends. And when Kristen's like, we hang out all the time. Okay. They both have like three month old babies. And Kristin's been freaking out about leaving her house in general. So I'm like, how many times is she actually going to Nia's house since baby? Not that often. However, I am sure that they are texting all the time as new moms who are a couple of weeks apart from each other. And Kristin probably leans on Nia for a ton of advice, especially as they're going through the motions in the timeline of having these babies. So do I think Kristin is exaggerating about the amount of times of hanging out? Probably. And maybe they hung out before the baby's arrival. But it's not weird to me that Kristen and Nia would be good friends who are going through motherhood at the same time.
Mary
Right. And you can also call someone your best friend and have a really deep connection with people via text message and talking on the phone. And I mean us, we talk every fucking day and we see each other. Well, we've seen each other a lot this year.
Courtney
You can't use us. An example for 2026.
Mary
I have plenty of friends that I text with all the time and know exactly what's going on with their lives and feel super connected to and don't see them 100%.
Courtney
I think in real life is very rare. The circle that you have and the amount of people who are actually close to you in your own life life do live in the phone. Jamal and my besties, we're all living in the phone.
Mary
Everyone is living in the phone. That's what the phone can I get. You know, I have weird issues with the phone because I think it can be a great tool and also your worst enemy.
Courtney
Just stop looking for me and seeing where I am people.
Mary
But if you want to call me and chat, let me know.
Courtney
Mary does love a phone call because you know what? Why if it's not written down she didn't say it.
Mary
Say it, forget it.
Courtney
Right?
Mary
Regret it.
Courtney
Yeah, exactly.
Mary
I thought this was a fun episode. I enjoyed watching it and I think next week looks great and I'm feeling all right. Everything is all right.
Courtney
Can I leave with one question that I leave for people listening?
Mary
Of course.
Courtney
You said this was a fun episode. Are you guys watching this season now as a hate watch or are you enjoying it? Where do you lie on how you're watching the Valley currently? And with that, we'll let you answer that and we'll see you tomorrow for Next Gen. Bye.

Date: July 2, 2026
Hosts: Mary (Bay Area), Courtney (Los Angeles), & friend/co-host
Episode Theme:
Courtney and Mary dive into Season 3, Episode 14 of Bravo’s “The Valley,” sharing their sharp, witty takes on the reality TV drama, cast relationships, and the ongoing storylines, while sprinkling in commentary on Taylor Swift wedding rumors, the cultural impact of reality TV, and their own behind-the-scenes antics.
Main Theme:
A full breakdown of the latest dramatic episode of The Valley, with detailed analysis of cast dynamics, key conflicts, and stand-out moments, enriched with Bravo fandom perspective and expert pop culture gossip.
Purpose:
To recap and dish on both the emotional and absurd moments from The Valley, give hot takes on the cast, and discuss broader Bravo universe happenings for die-hard (and hate-watch) fans.
Recap of Zach’s injury on the party bus; hosts question event safety, wonder if legal action was taken.
Costume ideas for BravoCon (Zach/Britney headpiece); Tom Schwartz’s “sad clown” appearance post-injury is dissected.
Notable Quote:
Multiple cast members accuse each other of having drinking problems, mostly while intoxicated—“so meta,” the hosts note.
Danny’s behavior stands out as particularly grating. Nia’s role as defender/enabler is discussed; hosts cite her patience as evidence this is “normal” for her.
Memorable Exchanges:
Michelle confronting Jesse about introducing new partner Lacy to daughter Isabella.
Notable Quote:
After Zach’s injury, the group still finds a way to party; elements of camaraderie and resilience.
Britney’s drunken confrontation with Jesse and emotional vulnerability over being called a "drunk" by Kristen.
The group’s penchant for talking about each other’s drinking while drinking is underscored.
Michelle’s uninhibited solo dancing is a highlight; contrast with Danny’s melodrama about feeling “triggered” and “uncomfortable.”
Nia continues to deflect and shield Danny from direct criticism, causing friction and sympathy for her position.
Notable Quotes:
The episode is an engaging, laughter-filled, but analytical recap of The Valley S3 E14, enriched with keen Bravo insights, personal anecdotes, and signature “judgey” banter. Mary and Courtney expertly balance genuine critique, hilarious asides, and a palpable love-hate relationship with their reality TV subjects, making this a must-hear (or read!) for Bravo fans old and new.
