All right. So for my Love island peeps who watched last season, Nickelandria announced today that they have split.

But that's kind of been rumored that they haven't been together for quite some time. Right.

[Courtney]

Their entire relationship has been. Are they or aren't they? Either way, they publicly announced today that they have split. And I'm sure the fandom of Love island will be totally normal about this. So I'm sure everything will be okay. Wish them the best. I can never figure out because they weren't also pictured a lot together. Now I don't follow them that closely, but I feel like the last time I saw them together was at Alandria's birthday maybe a month or two ago that he had shown up for. But did they need to be together for their careers? It feels like they're doing just as good without each other.

I guess they felt like they had to keep up the gimmick for over a just about a year until the new winners. Huh?

[Courtney]

Nikolandra, did they win? They didn't even win, did they? I don't know. It is weird when they're like they split after a year. I'm like, it's only been a year. It's only been a year since last year's Love island and they haven't even done the reunion for this season yet. I didn't watch it, but I don't even know who won. But it feels like they haven't been as in my face. But maybe it's just because I'm not in that world.

Think this season of Love island did as well as previous?

Yeah, because we weren't involved.

Okay. But also not humping. Apparently. Paige Thick reported this morning that Whitney and Justin are separating from R H O S L C. I don't buy it.

Okay, two things. Why are they all separating off camera? Or is this the lead up for next season? Are we getting a trailer soon? What's happening?

We must be getting a trailer in the next month or so. I have to assume. But Angie had her split earlier in the week. Now this Whitney and Justin thing, I just like don't believe any of this because my prediction has been that they'll pretend to split. Then Bronwyn and Whitney will fuel rumors of a hookup. But then ultimately Todd and Bronwyn are getting back together. And I do have a chronological timeline for mall. There's just something about Whitney and Justin who have been a pretty good team for a while but also desperate enough to do this for a storyline.

The timing seems off, which makes me believe it more. I know they recently went to Hawaii. Family vacation. I. I went along on the vacation with them. I saw it via Instagram Story.

I did. We went to Waikiki. It was a Blast. But I hope this isn't true. You know, I have heard a lot of rumblings that, like, the show completely changed Angie, and that's why her and Sean split. And it does genuinely make me sad that these women came on the show, like, married, and then the show, I think, completely changes their life upside down. And it makes me worried for people like the Barlows. I just don't want anything bad to happen.

Don't put it out there. Wildly, though. I think the Barlows have one of the stronger marriages. I think if you're a Lisa, minus Miami. If you're a Lisa, you have a strong marriage. Vanderpump. Rinna Barlow, not Hoxie. You gotta have one bad one. You can't be perfect.

I agree. You see these headlines, and the fact that we're even questioning if it's real or not, that's also sad too. Like, are you sad enough or desperate enough to hope that this could be a storyline? Please, Again, as I mentioned, with Angie and Sean, you don't need to pick up the cameras. It's okay.

But maybe this is just gossip.

Maybe. But when Page Six reports it, and I know when they reported Bronwyn and Todd, I said no, I don't believe it. Still, I refuse to believe it. But they seem to have sources somehow. Now, we did get a few anonymous DMs saying this is bullshit and that

they've seen them together holding hands.

So maybe they're just testing the waters to see what it is. Or maybe it's when they did that painting and Justin got fired from his job, and then they put a million dollars into her skincare line. I don't know. Maybe the bad decisions also push them to separate.

I just. I. I'm not gonna believe it until they confirm it's true.

They haven't confirmed anything. I know. I think that one's true, unfortunately. But most of the time when I say things, it. It just applies to that person.

Right. I. I feel like we can summarize. I would say the summary is that she is trying to rewrite history. I would say I feel like she was a little nervous how the reunion was going to play out. I also saw this TikTok about the in the City trailer and then all the things we didn't see from the trailer which includes we never saw Lindsay crying on the phone to her dad. Remember that was part of the trailer. Never saw Kenny saying Gavin is the burning maid off of hospitality. There was a lot of unfinished business. But it felt like she was very activated online yesterday and she even posted a picture of Gemma and her and saying like activated single mom. And she kept on tweeting, threatening and all the things and it felt like she was a little bit worried the way the reunion was going to go down and the audience's reaction. What do you think?

Yeah, her post is, hey, I was crying for six months and not because of Whitney's comment. I was going through postpartum. I went through a breakup like a month and a half after I had my baby. I was doing these things alone. I was filming these shows. She has a laundry list of all the reasons why she could have been crying for six months, which this post in general shares. I think as we've talked about with you, a very real look at what it's like to be a mom, especially a first time mom and everything you're going through. It's like her post as a standalone and explaining the last year of being a mom is very real and like

I appreciate her sharing credit and had empathy and sympathize and I was like, I totally know what you're going through because I just went through this and it's a lot. Your life changes and you can't really anticipate it. So I Did sympathize with her in that way, but it also felt like she was kind of trying to rewrite what was said at the reunion. But I liked her post.

[Courtney]

Yeah, exactly. I'm like, as a standalone post. Thank you. Like, that's so real. You shared vulnerability. You're telling everybody your side of the story. I appreciate that. But to use that as, like, the Whitney comment is why you cried for six months. And like, her comment is just kind of the cherry on top is like, I understand being upset, but I don't think that Whitney is the catalyst for everything for six months. I think you went through a lot for six months, and I would say longer than six months. Gemma's a year. She filmed two TV shows. She's gone through a lot. And then trying to navigate life. And as I said, within the city reunion, too, is Lindsay is working overtime. She wants this show to be successful. She wants a season two. I've threaded. Can Bravo just announce a season two? I know Lindsay's tired. She's like, I literally am. I literally am tired. I know, but she's working so hard and. And going overtime. And I feel like she thinks she is so responsible for the success of this show that she needs to share every part of her life. And I'm like, take a vacay. You can't, because you're filming Summer House now. But take some time off the Internet at this point. It's not worth it for you because you're opening the can of worms because everyone's going to have an opinion just like we do. So thank you for sharing that. Standalone. I think as a standalone, it works really well. I think she also turned off the comments, too, to just be like, here's my side of the story. But I don't think that it fits in with the reunion of saying that, like, Whitney is the reason why.

Well, and Whitney and Kenny are on every single podcast right now. Whitney was on Morally corrupt with Rachel Lindsay. Then Kenny and Whitney together did vial files. They were on, like, the page six one. Like the reality T1. I. They are just doing a major press tour. And I'm like, okay, we know how it works. Like, if you do an interview in season, like, Bravo has to approve that it has to be set up through Bravo. So I'm like, were they waiting for the season to end to say what they wanted to say? Was this under Bravo contract, do you think?

I assume that these are set effort to push the show? I think, yeah, I think a little bit of both. The reunion for Whitney in The past, like, few episodes are her biggest contribution to this show right now. And so she probably wants to be like, okay, I'm not really probably featured on Episode 2 of the Reunion, so now I can go out and give more of my story. She's very good friends with Rachel Lindsay. She was on Nick's season of the Bachelor, which I'm like, don't go on the vial files.

And obviously, I think that's how she's friends with Rachel, too, because Rachel was on Nick season.

And so I think they're just doing their press run now because now they get to tell their side of the story. It's hard to tell your side of the story when it hasn't aired yet.

Yeah, it's. You know, either way, they're getting people to talk about the show. I do want a season two for this, so. Great. I think they will need to figure out how to move on from this. I think there's still going to be friction, and I think that Lindsay and Kenny just need to have one night together. It's hump day.

Thinking about this entire season of the Valley and watching the postpartum that in the City, season two would be the exact same thing in a lot of ways. It's going to be all the women postpartum in some sense. We don't know when cameras would actually pick back up. But we do know the girls are having the babies Labor Day weekend. So I would imagine they would do it the fall. So would it be that similar? I don't know. Did people like to watch it? People are watching the Valley. I mean, nothing is all right, but everything is all right. I'm all right.

So I think it's just gonna be a different experience over on in the City versus the Valley, because I do think that people in the city, they're all right. I think in the Valley, they are not all right.

Well, I think the guilt trip might have gone towards Mia guilt tripping Zach about what's going on. Guys, I have issues here. I have a few issues about this episode. First off, I need an editing chronological timeline here. Lala going to Chili's. A full ad for Chili's in this episode is wearing the same outfit that she's having the conversation with Kristen at the the end. But in between that, we're also having a conversation at Britney's boudoir shoot about friendship with Janet, which to me doesn't make sense when we're going from Chili's where we're talking, Janet's there. And then we go into the boudoir where Kristen's like, I don't need to be your friend. And then Lala, same day as Chili's is saying like, I wish you could just understand that I'm telling you you need to lay off. And that feels not right.

The continuity was not There for you.

Thank you. Secondly, I gotta talk about the Zach and Benji surrogacy. Zach has to borrow money from Kristen. His roommate has seemingly destroyed all this stuff from their apartment because maybe he owed them money. Benji's visa doesn't allow him to work in the US and they're going to pay someone for surrogacy. If that's a hundred thousand dollars, where is the money coming from?

I'm guessing a personal loan. Also, this was a sad moment for me because I feel like every part of Zach is like, I really love this man. Like, I can see my life with him, but I don't see kids in the future. So I'm in a horrible situation. I have to give up the guy that I love. Or I can stay and decide to have kids, but that's really not what I want to do. I feel bad for him in this moment. And I'm taking out the fact of the hundred thousand dollars.

We watched on Vanderpump Rules when Max had his cleanup at the beach and Jax threw a fit because the environment and he didn't want 10 cars going to the beach because that just defeats the whole purpose of a beach cleanup when we're putting gas into the air and they drive from the valley to do that. We never got to see the good times. And even the way that Michelle talks about Jesse this season, she's like, we were so in love. How did it go so wrong? Was it really Covid and having the baby?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think Covid really messed them up. Especially when he was going out. She wasn't working because she was raising Isabella. Their dynamics just changed completely from being like equal partners to then Jesse just running rampant.

And this is why I can't figure out what is going on with the continuity here. Because if those scenes were filmed the same day with Lala and Kristen together and Chilli's, then this scene does not make sense to me of when we're talking about Janice because I feel like Kristen would have said something along the lines of, like, I don't know what Janet's story is. I just, I'm not interested in being friends. And she was like, overtly defensive and aggressive about not wanting to be friends with Janet. And I'm like, after that conversation, I would think she would just say, I don't want to be friends with her. And that's okay.

Mm. Well. And she says in her confessional, Janet having trauma has nothing to do with me and Janet not being friends. And I understand what Lala was saying in that moment and I don't need to know the details, but. But I still don't want to be friends with the girl.

But that's what she should have said to Britney and Lala in that one scene in the way that she said it in that confessional. Because she has empathy and she understands that there's a situation that she's not close enough to Janet to talk about, but that she just doesn't want to be friends with her. Like, it's too much of how much they hate Janet. And look, Janet's annoying, okay? I found her annoying at Chili's when They bring it up again and. And I'm backtracking into Chili's, but when they bring up Danny and they're talking to Zach about Danny and they're like, he needs to apologize and then we can move on and say he'll never do it again. What are we apologizing for, though? Are we apologizing all the way from the sexual assault that he had apologized to Jasmine and Melissa about? We were supposed to drop that. Is he apologizing for yelling at the women in Mexico? What is it that he's apologizing for that we're moving on from and that he's never going to do again?

If Kristen is smart, she will befriend Janet because Janet and Kristen are the ones going head to head on this. This Kristen does not have the backup. She has what Zach and Jesse and Lacy. Who? Lacy. I don't believe that Lacy was freaking out to Kristen in the phone before she walked into Chili's. I don't think Kristen has the army. She has to go against the other side of the table there because she needs them. Britney will turn on her. I. I think Kristen also does read the comments, and I think that Kristen will see if people are on Janet's side. I think that Kristen will try to be nicer to her.

To her. But I also want to be like Brittany. When you're doing an ad, you can't post post a facetune photo of your body because the video after shows differently. And I think it's amazing that you lost £20. You look great. That is awesome. I'm so glad that you're getting healthier and living a better lifestyle and you want to work out more. I think that is fantastic. And then you watch this and you feel sad for her when she's like when somebody tells you how terrible your body looks. I don't even think she's talking about the Internet. I think she's talking about Jax. I do too. Yeah, I'm glad that she had this nice photo shoot for her and I'm glad that she's losing weight and feeling better about herself at that's what she wants to be doing. But also just don't post the face tuned ones because that's what gets everyone riled up.

it's like an ad. So she's like commenting back so she can have more engagement on the ad. Or you think she's just feeling, I

See, this is why like Instagram and like social media is such a double edged sword is because people will make a post and the comments go insane. And I'm like, this is crazy. And it's like you can't even respond to one. And I'm thinking about just these public figures. You respond to one, it opens a can of worms for them to people to attack you if they want to or agree with you. But mostly it's like a cesspool of people wanting to attack. And it's like at some point, just don't even touch it. Post what you need to post and then like let it go because it's not worth the battle that you're going to be like defending yourself and then you're just going to continually be defending yourself.

And I just find it fascinating of these alliance lines where it's like, Kristen, you guys do tell Zach, but I think Zach is a flip flopper and I think he does because he's so scared of Kristen and Nia that he's like, I'll talk shit to Janet. What do you guys want me to say? What do you want me to do? Why is he defending Danny so hard? Is it just because of Kristen?

Yeah, I. I think so.

But enough to ruin his relationship with Britney.

I feel like he for some reason chose to be on Kristen's side. And then being on Kristen's side, he's realizing, like, actually, maybe I want to go to the other side, but, like, I don't want to completely flop. He just wants to be in the middle. He just wants to be friends with everyone. And unfortunately on this show apparently can't be.

[Courtney]

But it's also like Britney and him have been going at it a little bit too. And so I'm like, where is their friendship? She's like 18 years of friendship and I get dismissed like that. But at the same time, are they more just like a brother sister at this point? So everything will always be fine. It's like we saw what happened with Portia and Shamia. Blood matters.

[Mary]

I. I don't think we're at that level. I hope is Danny and Go.

[Courtney]

Like you said, maybe Kristen comes around with Janet and then next season we can have fun.

[Courtney]

We need Sheena back, you guys. I'm sorry. We need her back. Lala doesn't really have a storyline. Let's bring in Sheena. We'll get some drama over there. I think we need to back away from the Danny and Nia versus Janet and Jason. And we need to have some middle drama. So whether that's Zach and Brittany and we're watching that go down or it's Lala and Sheena because we bring her in. We need to have other conflict. There's no Jesse and Michelle conflict, even though we should be focusing on them as well. That's over. Kristen and Luke, they could be their own drama too, because they are.

[Mary]

I am very concerned about those two. Wait, what about Cruise? He's thriving. That was so amazing to hear him be verbal. He is in Janet's arms. He's so comfortable. He's laughing, he's giggling. He's completely thriving. I loved seeing that moment.

Fuck you, Jax. Taylor. I can't believe we're still picking up cameras for this shit. Get him out of here. We don't want them on our TVs. Wow, this show enrages me.

No, we need to see more uplifting moments like that. Even seeing Jesse and Michelle this week, sign the divorce papers, that was an uplifting moment. We got to see Cruzy uplifting. Maybe next season is Luke and Kristen falling back in love. I need uplifting at this point, guys.

I. I would love for Kristen and Luke to fall back in love. I would love that for them. It's not gonna happen. Okay. I'm sorry. It's not gonna happen. They hate each other.
