Teddi Mellencamp
Hi, guys. Welcome to another episode of two T's in a Pod with myself, Teddi Mellencamp. And I have a special guest, co host, Jen Pessler. Hi.
Tamara Judge
Hi, Warrior. How you doing?
Teddi Mellencamp
I'm good. I mean, I'm good, except my eye keeps going to where it says Jeffrey Fessler on your.
Tamara Judge
It's like all things in my life. His name is plastered everywhere.
Teddi Mellencamp
Just. It's on yours.
Tamara Judge
No, actually, I'm using. I'm down at that. We have a beach house in Southern Jersey, so whatever. I'm using his computer. Mine's a little messed up, so I feel.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. What's new with you? What's going on?
Tamara Judge
Oh, it's just really. The weather sucks here in Jersey, in. At the beach. And it just feels like winter's coming and it's depressing. It's like cold and windy, whatever.
Teddi Mellencamp
But it's 106 degrees here.
Tamara Judge
I don't know which is worse. I actually hate that. I'm telling you, I'm not interested in that either.
Teddi Mellencamp
Hot.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
I can't even take it.
Tamara Judge
So. Yeah, well, that's not for me either. So I just have to say this to you because I've been wanting to say it and we don't talk all the time, so I have this little opportunity. But. So I have probably four friends right now who are battling cancer, one of whom is battling stage four. And. But it's hard, obviously, on all four of them, but they all follow you and you have obviously inspired them in more ways than one, but particularly your hair. So my friend Marcy, hers is just now starting to grow back.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
We spent hours contemplating, like, pink. Like teddy pink teddy blonde. I don't know, like when you started. She. And she's like, I'm not sure when I can actually start coloring it. She's asked. She's talking to her doctor about using, like, veg dye, veggie dye or whatever.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. I use the one that you just, like, wash in and then it's semi permanent.
Tamara Judge
I was hoping to get that information.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yes. So it's a semi permanent. I'll text you the link of what it is, but it just. And then it starts off super pink, and then it just fades out. The reason I have. Some days I have wigs on. Like, today's a wig day. Because I didn't want to put any makeup on.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
So one or the other.
Tamara Judge
Right, right. I actually contemplated it. I was like, this is my first two tease podcast. Let me try to look human a little bit human.
Teddi Mellencamp
You look human, but you think better than human.
Tamara Judge
Thank you. Thank you. Yeah. But I also do say to my friends, there are, like, Gertie, for instance, she has a perfect head. Her cranium is. Is perfect and round, as is yours.
Teddi Mellencamp
I have to be very grateful that I have a good. A good cranium that you've come in. I have a good head. I don't know if I give it, but I have it.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, you got good head. Yep.
Teddi Mellencamp
Also, what's the. What's the scoop? I mean, there's been so much discussion about Jersey. Have you heard anything?
Tamara Judge
I mean, I hear the rumors. I hear what you hear, and nothing is confirmed. I don't know. I. Honestly, and I. People, I probably wouldn't. I would say it to you offline if I did know, which I'm also not supposed to do, but I really don't know. I got nothing.
Teddi Mellencamp
Do you think if it does come back, you. You would be going back?
Tamara Judge
I. I don't know. I mean, I. I would like to. I'd like at least to be asked. There were times when I was filming, I was like, you know, this is it. But I think you said at one point, once you're in it and you've experienced it, it's an interesting thing to, like, transition to normal life. Yeah. And so I. It was an adventure for me, and at times it was hard, but really, you know, housewives came knocking at my door when I was 53 years old. Nobody else was knocking. So, I mean, it's just the truth. Right. And it's been like. Yeah, times. It's hard, but it has been this incredible adventure. And I'm. I've had, like, this chance to reinvent myself in this way, you know. Right. Kind of when my kids were. When I was empty nesting and do things that I wouldn't. I mean, sitting here with Teddy Mellencamp. My husband is downstairs. I said to him, you can't come up because the fact that I'm even talking to you, we're. He's a Jersey boy like your dad is.
Teddi Mellencamp
You know, my dad is. I think Farm Aid's coming up.
Tamara Judge
That's right. I saw that.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yes, I think Farm Aid's coming up, and I forget exactly where it is, but I don't know that. It's too far from you guys, really.
Tamara Judge
I'll tell Jeff you're gonna get us tickets.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, I will.
Tamara Judge
Thanks.
Teddi Mellencamp
I will. Don't worry.
Tamara Judge
I'll handle it backstage, if you don't mind.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, don't. Actually, I'll have Jess sing.
Tamara Judge
That's. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. You'll be sorry.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, my gosh.

Teddi Mellencamp
So what are you thinking about? Are you liking Miami this season?
Tamara Judge
Well, I loved this last episode, first of all. Absolutely loved it. I. I think Miami, like everybody says it, it's not whatever, but it's just so underrated.
Teddi Mellencamp
I. I mean visually, I love Miami. This episode I didn't love as much. So now you didn't? No, I loved it. Loved it.
Tamara Judge
I loved it. Well, I love it. You know what? When I love, I love episodes that make me furious or make me laugh. So like I. Like when I get so riled up about something, I know it's a good episode. Like I just. It's about the Stephanie of it all. We can get to that. But where I'm just like, like, you gotta be kidding. Like, I have to find this woman and, and like have it out with her because I'm losing my shit. But I feel like those are the good episodes, right?
Teddi Mellencamp
Those are the good episodes. I mean, I think the beginning, it starts. It started off a little slow for me, so that's hard. Like I want it to take me right from the beginning. And I feel like right now we're kind of beating a dead horse.
Tamara Judge
You feel like it's like a. Right. Well, yeah. Okay, I can do that. With the Lisa Larsa of it all.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. So, I mean, it starts out during dinner. Larsa's in the hallway and Jody is texting Larsa non stop. Lisa asks Larsa what the problem is. Larsa tells Lisa that Jody is texting her things he shouldn't be texting. But then, so I thought it was like, listen, you fucking bitch.
Tamara Judge
Right?
Teddi Mellencamp
Shut your mouth.
Tamara Judge
Like that's what I expected, obviously.
Teddi Mellencamp
Like I was, I went there.
Tamara Judge
That's what we all expected. Or like, you know, meet me in the back alley somewhere. Like there was something salacious about it, you know, the whole thing was so benign. It was ridiculous.
Groons and Quince Sponsor
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
And then we find out in the confessional. Lisa reads, larsa, stop. I don't want this fight. You can't point at the sky and tell me it's not blue. Larsa responded, listen, I don't want to argue with you. What fight? Clearly we're not on the same page. Have a good night. Jody says we don't need to be on the same page. It's in the past. If you'll let it go. I'm sorry. This is a fine text exchange for me.
Tamara Judge
I actually think it's very pleasant and nice. I don't think he was in any way inappropriate. Not only that, this woman like tried to out him as a. As. As coking it up, whatever. I don't remember where he was, but was showing the whole cast pictures of him with his saying that his eyes were bulging out of his head. I think he was perfectly pleasant. And their reaction, the girl's reaction when they're like, look, Jody is texting Larson. They're like, what? What?
Teddi Mellencamp
I mean, one should Jody probably be texting a housewife? I mean, if Jeff started texting housewives that he wasn't close With. I would think it was weird. It's not his business.
Tamara Judge
Well, Jeff doesn't. He doesn't text me, so it would be weird. My children, for that matter, so. But I'm trying to think if I text, like a house husband, I have. Not without, like the housewife knowing, but just like, happy birthday. I don't know. It's.
Teddi Mellencamp
I mean, I think it's weird. I think in general, Jody, stay out of it. But I think he sees that Lisa's in, like, such a fragile place. He's trying to protect her.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. But I mean, I don't see it. Yes, definitely stay out of it. But the thing. The other piece is that he. He was brought into it. Like Larsa was trying to call him out. Like, in a. In a big way.
Teddi Mellencamp
In a very.
Tamara Judge
Eyes are bulging out. You know, he was screaming.
Teddi Mellencamp
He was hard.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, it's hard to stomach that shit. Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
So I'm sure at the end of the day when. And I am slightly confused because I'm not a lawyer, but do you have that short of a notice when you have to do a notary type situation?
Tamara Judge
I have the same question. It seemed legit to me. I mean, Gertie and her were back there, right? And Gertie was like, and I know this person and this woman, and she's gonna get on and she's going to whatever. She's gonna be able to notarize it. It felt legit to me. It seems strange that anybody would say, you have to have this done in an hour. These official documents. She probably dropped the ball maybe.
Teddi Mellencamp
And then she's on the trip and she's like, oh, you know, she was on another trip right beforehand. She probably kind of forgot. And then it was down to the deadline and so, oh, shit, here we go. And then you wanna know who' nightmare that probably really was? Productions. Having to find a notary. Productions like, shit. We have to find an online notary who can do this right now on camera.
Tamara Judge
Great. Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
But I think two things can be true. Jody should absolutely not be texting Larsa. But the women also seem to be piling on Lisa.
Tamara Judge
Oh, my God. 100%. And here's the thing. I mean, we can get to it later, but the expectations around Lisa, I know that her divorce has been going on for a minute, but the expectations, for instance, for her to put her phone in a basket, they're just. They're not realistic in my mind.
Teddi Mellencamp
Once we get to the notes, let's talk about the basket.
Tamara Judge
Okay. Okay.
Teddi Mellencamp
But then the girls head out for their daytime adventures, which, you know. Love the daytime adventures.
Tamara Judge
Oh, yes.
Teddi Mellencamp
Marisol, Alexia, Julia, Larsa and Stephanie all go to ceramics class to make tiles. Alexia asked Marisol to not paint a penis. So what does Marisol do?
Tamara Judge
Paints a penis. I have to be honest with you. The penis is like the 11th character on Miami. It's a lot. A lot of penis talk. Maybe I'm just. I'm 57. I'm just not that interested in penis anymore. But it's just. It's a lot of cocktalk on Miami. Don't you think?
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, I think it's a lot of cocktalk, and it's all because they. What else are they going to talk about?
Tamara Judge
That's sad. That is sad, Teddy. That is a sad statement. I hope there's more to talk about than just penis. Well, I think in this moment, that's the common denominator. That's what binds them.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. That's what's binding them together. This moment. They love to talk about sex and penis.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. I guess that goes. That's across the board. I know that housewives do like to talk about sex, but it just feels like.
Teddi Mellencamp
And now. Oh, I know.
Tamara Judge
Kiki and Marisol. And. Yeah. I mean, I don't find the. I don't find the penis particularly appealing in person, much less drawings of it. It's just enough penis.
Teddi Mellencamp
It's not the. And her drawing isn't like, a beautiful penis, by the way.
Tamara Judge
No, it wasn't.
Teddi Mellencamp
No, it wasn't. It wasn't great.
Tamara Judge
Stephanie, want to put, like, hair on hers or something?
Teddi Mellencamp
No. Shouldn't.
Tamara Judge
I don't know, something like that? I think she was drawing little, like, prickly hairs. I don't know.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, no, Stephanie, I know too much about your husband now.
Tamara Judge
A little bit. Little bit.
Teddi Mellencamp
Little bit, Little bit. Then Alexia asks, after she asked Marisol not to paint the penis, the girls discuss if Alicia should come on the plane tomorrow.
Tamara Judge
I can't, Teddy.
Teddi Mellencamp
I can.
Tamara Judge
I cannot. With the fucking plane. I can't. I am so. That's. I think when I told you I got riled up during the episode. If I never hear the word private plane or again, it will be too soon. And the girls just, like, go with it like it's normal. I don't get it. Like, are these girls flying coach? Because I feel like they're definitely being flown business class or first class, for sure. That's the big deal about the plane. And she is just wielding it over everyone's head like, no one's going home with A private plane. We're talking about two hours or whatever it is.
Teddi Mellencamp
22 minutes.
Tamara Judge
22 minutes.
Teddi Mellencamp
20.
Tamara Judge
And it's like my private plane. I have a private plane. Who am I going to invite on the plane? Who gives a.
Teddi Mellencamp
Who's. Who's going to sit where on the private plane? It just. It gives me the ick.
Tamara Judge
Me too, sister. Like, it pisses me off. And no one shuts it down.
Teddi Mellencamp
Right. But you know, they don't want to get kicked off the private plane.
Tamara Judge
Oh my God, I can't.
Teddi Mellencamp
They don't want to. Like, all of a sudden everybody's all fine about everything that she's saying and doing because they. But I'm like, at some point, somebody's got to give Lisa a little bit of a break here. Even though Lisa does things that drive me nuts too. But of course, of course.
Tamara Judge
But you don't say you can't. Come on. A 22 minute flip. What are you talking about? Yeah, what do you think? Everybody but you can go on the 22. And it was Stephanie that really decided that in the end, it wasn't even Larsa.
Teddi Mellencamp
I know, it's bananas. Then Lisa, Marisol and Julia meet on the roof. Marisol and Julia explain that everyone is uncomfortable with the note taking. They tell Lisa that her phone needs to go in a basket on the plane that she may or may not be able to go on.
Tamara Judge
Get the hell out of here. Right?
Teddi Mellencamp
And then Lisa gets pissed and says she isn't going to the dinner. The note taking seems to be taken out of proportion.
Tamara Judge
Teddy, we are so lined up. We probably shouldn't do this together because we're not going to have any conflicting views. Who doesn't take notes? What are we talking about?
Teddi Mellencamp
She's taking notes of something they're filming on a reality television.
Tamara Judge
Yes, exactly.
Teddi Mellencamp
It makes absolutely no sense why this is such a big deal. And clearly if she's waiting till last minute to do her notary, then she doesn't have the best memory.
Tamara Judge
Okay, so exactly my point. If I go out to lunch with my best friend Iris, there's nothing really to take notes on. Is not. I'm not going to need to remember that Jordan. She forgot to pick Jordan up at wrestling. I don't give a shit. Right? But like, if you're on a reality TV show, do not think listeners. Because I do know that people don't take notes. They go home, they watch the episodes back, they write stuff down because you want to be armed.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, I mean, I should have probably taken notes, but at that point. My memory was on point.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
So. But some people. I mean, Alexia made a good point. She's like, I don't have to take notes because I have a good memory. Some people don't. And I think Lisa is a little flighty and forgets shit.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. And you know, the shit's coming back. You. You want to be able to have stuff at, like, your fingertips. And if you remember what actually went down, speak.
Teddi Mellencamp
And you say one wrong word that somebody else said about you, they will beat that down correct to the end. So she's like, I'm gonna. Maybe she shouldn't do it at the table, though.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. I mean, only because you're gonna get shit about it. But I just feel like everyone goes back after a day of filming and tries to remember and thinking it through and, you know, talking about it with, what did she say? What did she say? Wait, let me write that down at least. That's been my experience.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, I agree. Then the girls all head down to dinner, but guess who's missing? Lisa. Lisa. At this point, I wish they would just break the fourth wall and say, if we can all get ready on film, so. And just, like, take this seriously and be there at the right time. That's what we're actually pissed about.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, I agree.
Teddi Mellencamp
Because I don't think they would really care. If you're going to a dinner with eight people and one person's late, you don't.
Tamara Judge
In.
Teddi Mellencamp
In real life, you don't really care, do you?
Tamara Judge
Certainly don't take it personally. I wouldn't be like. Like the. When they were on the sprinter van and she was late and Stephanie laid into her. Yeah. It's rude. It is rude. In a normal life, you would just left.
Ebay Sponsor
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
Like, and then say, you're a loser enough. But, like, you know, I don't think maybe they're trying to also right now, like, paint a picture of her as always being perpetually late. And they're allowing it. I don't know.
Teddi Mellencamp
I think they're trying to paint a picture of her being inconsiderate.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
Of other people, like, only caring about herself.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
And I mean, it is definitely coming off, but it feels like they really think she's not taking her job as seriously as all of us have. Have to.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
And that would piss. I mean, that would probably piss me off too.
Tamara Judge
Well, this particular time, she wasn't going to go to the dinner. It's it. I thought that, like, she needed convincing, so that's why she was late.
Teddi Mellencamp
We didn't really even get any of the convincing?
Tamara Judge
Yeah, we didn't maybe. Could they have pulled that out just so that it looked like.
Teddi Mellencamp
Remember she called down and said she was going to be late?
Tamara Judge
Yes.
Teddi Mellencamp
So we got a flashback of, you know, it happening, right?
Tamara Judge
Oh, yeah. She was convinced first. I don't know if I were okay. If I were her, I would have been on high alert. Like, like. Note to self, do not be late.
Teddi Mellencamp
Be on time. Ready?
Tamara Judge
Yes.

Before all, the algorithm for Fed blah and the endless sea of dupes, shopping used to feel more fun. But here's a confession. Are you a Charlotte listeners? You can find that fun feeling again on ebay. Because on ebay it's not just shopping, it's a full on fashion pursuit. And when you find the thing, that adrenaline hit is real. I went on to ebay to look for a super special vintage jacket for Charlotte to wear to the gallery. And I found the most amazing Mugler jacket. And the costume department loved it and it felt so good and I still have it at home. Like when you score that rare Adidas collab that's lived on your mood board or the Dior saddle bag that you ripped right out of a magazine in 2007 and never got over. Yeah, those. Teddi Mellencamp
Then the girls all get to dinner. Adriana tells the girls that Lisa unfollowed Marcus and this blows everything up. This blows stuff up.
Tamara Judge
You didn't think that that was a great, like, Housewives scene, though. It was so. It was perfect. Housewives.
Teddi Mellencamp
Like, I mean, the blow up was. It got to the point I thought it was too much. Because of what happened with Kiki. Yeah.
Tamara Judge
And Adriana.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. Once Kiki and Adriana kind of got involved in the fight escalated, that's when I was like, it was too much.
Tamara Judge
It was the ratchet of it all. And clearly she heard Lisa say, please don't say anything because they flash back to it. So she definitely did hear it, but I think she was trying to deliver good news. Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
Because they were all talking about Lisa in a poor way. And she's like, but she unfollowed Marcus.
Tamara Judge
Right. Adriana was, like, spreading the good news, but I don't know also why Lisa would have wanted it to be a secret. I would have thought that she would have been, like, excited for Larsa to find out that she finally unfollowed him.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, then it's like she's given in, I think, in her opinion. And she just wanted it to be under the right. Like, she wanted to do the right thing, but she also didn't want it to be a thing.
Tamara Judge
Right.
Teddi Mellencamp
Or maybe she wanted to reveal it herself. Like, did you even notice that I unfollowed Marcus after making such a big deal that I followed him?
Tamara Judge
Yeah, I did unfollow him. You bitch. Yeah, it was her mic drop moment. Yeah, but. But I didn't. I wasn't mad at Adriana about it.
Teddi Mellencamp
I wasn't mad at. But I did get mad at Adriana later on in the episode. And then Lisa finally gets there. She walks in like she solved world peace. Like, her. I'm like, is this right there? She unfollowed Marcus or what? She is coming in hot. She's like, hey, everyone, what's up?
Tamara Judge
What's up, guys?
Groons and Quince Sponsor
What's the gossip?
Teddi Mellencamp
What's the 41 1?
Tamara Judge
I love that, you know, going into a room like that, you know you're going into the lion's den, right? So she. We've definitely established the fact that right now, like, she's the punching bag, Right. Everyone is out for Lisa. So you're walking into that knowing what's coming. I think she handled it beautifully. What's up, guys? I love it. Hey, I think it's brilliant.
Teddi Mellencamp
Hey, how you doing? Yeah, yeah, just whatever. And then Kiki immediately is like. Adriana was running her mouth.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
And Adriana tells Kiki, this is where it goes south.
Tamara Judge
Yes.
Teddi Mellencamp
Adriana tells Kiki, stop being so ratchet.
Tamara Judge
Ratchet. Right.
Teddi Mellencamp
When that happens, when Adrianna just says ratchet, it's so inappropriate. And the fact that she's more offended about being old is just bananas to me because you could.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, yeah. You could see Kiki, the way that she reacted. I feel like maybe she felt like it was a microaggression.
Teddi Mellencamp
I do, too. And then when she blows up over being called old. What the fuck is Stephanie doing? Why is she crying? Why is she having a.
Tamara Judge
Okay, I'm telling you, I. I can't. With this woman. I don't know. And I know it's funny because I. I said this is someone else recently on a pod. But, like, I know that viewers really love rich housewives. At least that's what I hear. Right. They love, like, that. They're so aspirational. I used to. I mean, I always died from Lisa Vanderpump. I can't remember if that's a good or bad thing to say to you. I just always. Anyway. Right. Okay. Okay. So I just loved watching her and. And the way that she lived her life. But for me, it's just obnoxious. There is this. This woman and. And this has nothing to really do, I guess, to do with the crying. All that. That felt like it was put on as well.
Teddi Mellencamp
Like, she's so humiliated. Like, you're on the show and weren't. Like, I feel like in a previous episode, she was at a table screaming at Alexia, like, relax, this is your job now.
Tamara Judge
Come on. And what exactly is she crying about? I mean, but we went from the hysterical crying straight into the C charts for the. What? Say it with me, Teddi. Plane.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, for the plane. Sea charts.
Tamara Judge
I can't.
Teddi Mellencamp
So. But first, Larsa, Stephanie and Alexia and Marisol all go back to the hotel. So the fighting is gotten to the point where Stephanie is losing it and has to be escorted out of the restaurant. Escorted in a way, because she's mentally. Can't take it. She's crying in the backseat and they lay out the seating arrangement.
Tamara Judge
Teddy, wait. I'm sorry to interrupt you, but I have to ask you something. Okay. Yes. Not only you. You're one of the people in the Bravo sphere who gave me a lot of. For leaving my finale.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yes.
Tamara Judge
On Jersey. So I'm very. I am Hyper aware of people leaving. People are leaving, getting up and walking away in Miami all the time.
Teddi Mellencamp
It's exhausting because then it separates the group. That's why I wish the whole point of Housewives is fighting and then resolution.
Tamara Judge
Right.
Teddi Mellencamp
And that's what I enjoy.
Tamara Judge
So if you're saying to get the resolution.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. You have to stay in it. And you also. These could be learning opportunities.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
Walking out and leaving and doing a seating chart and. But also not just a seating chart. Deciding where and if that person is even going to be able to sit on the plane and putting one person in a room. By themselves. By themselves, please.
Tamara Judge
What do you mean? Why does the plane have one room for a person to sit alone? Is it the bathroom?
Teddi Mellencamp
I think it's the bedroom. They have a bedroom on the plane.
Tamara Judge
Weird. But I would do that to someone.
Groons and Quince Sponsor
This is.
Teddi Mellencamp
How many times this season are we going to see Stephanie tell us about her plane? Use it over everybody. Larsa never even said, I don't care if they come on the plane or not.
Tamara Judge
Never. It was all Stephanie.
Teddi Mellencamp
And Kiki didn't. At this point, Kiki hasn't said anything. Adriana hasn't said anything. Just this is now another way for Stephanie to show I'm rich and I'm making calls here.
Tamara Judge
Yep, I'm rich and don't forget it. The thing that annoys me maybe even more than Stephanie continuing to push that narrative is the fact that none of these women tell her enough. Like, shut up about your stupid fucking plane.
Teddi Mellencamp
Shut up about your stupid plane. And shut up about a cares. Here's an Also in reality, not to. Not to brag here, but my dad has a private.
Tamara Judge
Right. Right.
Teddi Mellencamp
This is the way it works for I would say every private jet I've ever been on in my entire life of any human that has one or he charters one or whatever it may be, I don't know. But he has his spot where he always sits. And then everybody else on the plane.
Tamara Judge
Sits wherever we want, figures it out.
Teddi Mellencamp
And that's like. It's just like the same thing with. You're not late to a private jet. There's like certain private jet etiquette.
Tamara Judge
Right?
Teddi Mellencamp
But talking about this, if. If I sat down and I was going to go on a trip with my dad and I was going to go on his plane and he told me the seating chart, I'd be like, are you kidding me? I know exactly where you sit. I know you sit second row on the right hand side facing this way.
Tamara Judge
I got it right.
Teddi Mellencamp
I know it's your plan.
Tamara Judge
You can make that call. Yes. Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
But other than that, don't try to tell me where I can sit, if I'm going to sit on the sideways seat or if I'm going to sit like. But I'm just happy to be there, and I'm happy that I have the opportunity. Do you think that it's.
Tamara Judge
That she just. She just wants to continue the conversation just in case anyone missed it? I have a private jet. I have a private plane.
Teddi Mellencamp
It's a shame, because I think she's funny.
Tamara Judge
I think people are loving her. I feel a lot. Well, now I don't anymore. I feel like you're with me, but, like, I kind of feel alone. And I am there. You know what? I enjoyed her when she was talking about her husband. And she's like, I am obsessed with my husband. I love him. I want to be around him. I love his. I thought that was. He just seemed sincere. It was really, really cute to me. But the posing of it all is.
Teddi Mellencamp
It's ruining it for me because I think she's funny. I like her confessionals. I think she stands up to the women. I think they need that.
Tamara Judge
Agreed.
Teddi Mellencamp
But I do wish all the women were like, enough, enough.
Tamara Judge
If you want them for not, like, shutting it down already.
Teddi Mellencamp
But that's. It's. They're all. It's like when somebody's. I know we're going to get into more penis talk, but when somebody's addicted to the D, it's like they're addicted to the private jet. The pj.
Tamara Judge
Yes. That's true. Well, it's like.
Teddi Mellencamp
It's also.
Tamara Judge
It's like the big dick energy. Right.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
She's like, exerting.
Teddi Mellencamp
And it's such a turn off. It's a turn off for me.
Tamara Judge
Like the one like. Like the wall of Birkins or whatever. I don't know. I.
Teddi Mellencamp
But I agree with Marisol on the point. This is a 22 minute plane ride. And I mean, I've sent voice notes longer than 22 minutes.
Tamara Judge
Okay. Exactly.
Teddi Mellencamp
Okay. So now we. But we haven't really talked about how we feel about the storing of the phones.
Tamara Judge
I feel like if I'm Lisa.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
And I have two young kids here. No. You know what? If I'm any of them. And I have two young kids. You. You ain't taking my phone. Yeah. And I have a daughter with type 1 diabetes.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
And I remember being in situations, like work situations, and my boss would say, you can't have your phone or you can't look at your phone. I'm like, well, then I quit. Yeah, it's very simple. There's. It's a no, like. And not just because she has diabetes, but it was a non negotiable for me. With little kids, it's. You just need to have your phone. Yeah. Sorry.
Teddi Mellencamp
But they could say what? Why not just say no. Taking notes on the phone. Or that while we're in the middle of a conversation.
Tamara Judge
That would be.
Teddi Mellencamp
Let's just have common decency. Like, you're on your phone so much when we're all out.
Tamara Judge
We don't.
Teddi Mellencamp
It's like being late. It's. All of these things are tied together. Lisa is showing this season that she doesn't really care what the other women think. And it's pissing them off. So they're turning it around onto this being, you know, taking notes, but really, it's just being inconsiderate of other people. Like, she's late. She's not engaging in any conversation that doesn't have to do with herself. And she's always.
Tamara Judge
And I may. And I like Lisa, but she may have that coming. Like, it's been seasons of the one season. Maybe it was last season when they were. They were on that boat and they were all the animals. Where were they? I'm not gonna remember.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, yes, I remember.
Tamara Judge
And do you remember? And she was like, posing when. Who got sick? Julia. Yeah, Julia got really sick. And Lisa's in the background with the selfies as Julia's like, Right.
Teddi Mellencamp
Is it Julia? Yeah, it was Julia. Julia was getting sick and then they, like, go to fuck. Where did they go? They went to, like, Not a grave. Like a cemetery. Graveyard with all the.
Tamara Judge
Yes. And she was getting so upset because they had the. They had the dolls. Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
And then they did the same. She was doing the same thing at the narcissist event at the selfies. And like, there's a time and a place for a selfie.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, it was a. And also was she. Did she lose something on the way? All I remember is, was Lisa was just all about Lisa.
Teddi Mellencamp
Did she lose lip gloss?
Tamara Judge
Yes. Thank you. Maybe it was that. Maybe it was lip gloss. Poor Julie is over, like, having a breakdown. And. Right. And that's how they showed it. And Lisa's looking for. All upset about her lip gloss.
Teddi Mellencamp
Know what else I'm over now that we've. I remember Julia's on the show. I so sick of her trying to lighten the mood by kissing everybody, especially with bright red lipstick. Like, you're getting your lipstick on everybody.
Tamara Judge
What is with the kissing?
Teddi Mellencamp
I don't understand it. You're not. It's an. Like, we get the shtick. You've already kissed the girls we like. You're not. Like, nobody cares.
Tamara Judge
This is interesting. I couldn't give two shits. I don't know. Is it like. Is she making a joke? So I don't get it. What is the message here? Why is she kissing everyone?
Teddi Mellencamp
I think she's trying to say, like, instead. Because she can't tell a joke. So she's like, okay, maybe if I go around and do this, everybody will start talking about, great if it was funny.
Tamara Judge
But it's not good.
Teddi Mellencamp
That's my point. It's not funny. And they all go on and on and on, and she doesn't stop. And also, we forgot to mention that this trip is now for her. She's asking her best friends to be godparents. But why are we just finding out about this now?
Tamara Judge
I don't know. Because she just found out about it now. She just thought of it in the moment, in real time. Yeah. I mean, let's call it what it is, you know? She's like, wait a second. This will look good.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. But, I mean, the episode, definitely. I feel like Larsa wasn't that involved this episode.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
Probably because she's sick of talking about the same thing over and over again. Just like, I'm sick of watching it.
Tamara Judge
I'm sick of it. Well, I mean, listen, there's a few things here that I could never hear about again. The plane.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
The kissing.
Teddi Mellencamp
Correct.
Tamara Judge
And the. Just lost my train of thought. There was something else that just. They've. Oh, the dick. Enough. Take your plane. Put the dick on it. Put the kissing on it. Fly away. It's enough.
Teddi Mellencamp
Can I also say something in Marisol? I love you to death? And who else wore one? I'm kind of done with headbands.
Tamara Judge
The headbands and the bows. What's up with the bows? Did I miss.
Teddi Mellencamp
I don't know. Gretchen, did I miss the other day, too? And Marisol with the headband. Like, I. Is it because we're on day three of not washing our hair, so we're just gonna put the big headband on? Maybe done with the head.
Tamara Judge
I am done with the headband. I am done with the bows. Oh, my God. These are grow. What is with the bow? It was Stephanie and then it was Lisa, and they're not like, sophisticated bows. I'm not seeing them put in a way that they're literally, like. I would used to put my daughter's hair, like, in the back with the bowl. Yes.
Teddi Mellencamp
A little bow. No, I don't get it.
Tamara Judge
Not for me.
Teddi Mellencamp
I don't get it. But granted, I'm probably gonna, like, see you at somewhere. Like, I'll have a bow in.
Tamara Judge
Well, I'm not gonna allow it, I'll tell you that right now. And you've done so well with your hair. And if you put a bow in it, everybody. No, you can't disappoint it.
Teddi Mellencamp
What if I just put a little disappointment? I have an idea. What if I just put a little bow right there?
Tamara Judge
I love the blonde. Hold on.
Teddi Mellencamp
Thank you.
Tamara Judge
I love the blonde.
Teddi Mellencamp
Thank you.
Tamara Judge
I could put just a little screenshot and show. Teddy, stop it.
Teddi Mellencamp
I'm doing it. I'm thinking about it.
Tamara Judge
Can you imagine walking around, There's a pink bow right here. Then you don't say anything. You just pretend like it's not happening. What?
Teddi Mellencamp
What? Who.
Tamara Judge
What's your point? I don't get it. Oh, my God. My love. Never put on a wig. If I were you, I would never put on a wig again. I love it.
Teddi Mellencamp
This is my hair, so naturally dark.
Tamara Judge
It's hot. You look hot.
Teddi Mellencamp
Thank you.
Tamara Judge
I have one friend that always had short hair like that, and she is the most beautiful woman you've ever seen. And it's almost. We always say to her, it's almost like she's showing off. Like, you know, that people can't pull that off. And you've just been doing it for years. It's like saying, listen, I can do that and you can't. And that's what actually is going on here. It's a little, you know, put your wig back on.
Teddi Mellencamp
But you know what? I would put my wig back on, but I have to go backwards to forwards.
Tamara Judge
It's a whole too much work.
Teddi Mellencamp
Too much work. And now we made it through the episode.
Tamara Judge
All right.
Teddi Mellencamp
I so appreciate you coming on and talking with me. And this was fun.
Tamara Judge
It was really fun. I so appreciate your having me, I have to say, sort of a. Sort of a dream of mine. Here, check it out. The list.
Teddi Mellencamp
I really, really. You nailed it, and you made me laugh, and I appreciate it. And you guys keep. Don't. Don't sleep on Miami, guys. You need to be watching it.
Tamara Judge

Teddi Mellencamp
I hope Jen Fessler sends me some side information about what she knows about Jersey. And don't worry. You know me, never mention a thing.
Tamara Judge
You're a vault.
Teddi Mellencamp
You're a vault, honey.
Tamara Judge
I tried to trust vaults before. Vaults always seem to open on me.
Teddi Mellencamp
You know what? I have a. I'm a revolving door vault.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, not so much Teddy then.

Podcast: Two Ts In A Pod (iHeartPodcasts)
In this episode, Teddi Mellencamp welcomes Jen Fessler (Real Housewives of New Jersey) as a guest co-host for a lively, candid recap of the latest Real Housewives of Miami (RHOM) episode. The two discuss the ongoing drama among the Miami ladies, dissecting fights, friendships, and the ever-present private jet debates with humor, insight, and plenty of behind-the-scenes context from two women who know the Housewives universe inside and out.

“Once you’re in it and you’ve experienced it, it’s an interesting thing to transition to normal life.” (07:07, Jen)
“I expected, like, ‘listen, you fucking bitch, shut your mouth.’ Like, that's what I expected.” (16:14, Teddi)
“Jody should absolutely not be texting Larsa. But the women also seem to be piling on Lisa.” (19:20, Teddi)
“She’s taking notes of something they’re filming on a reality television [show].” (23:37, Teddi)
“You ain't taking my phone. And I have a daughter with type 1 diabetes.... It was non-negotiable for me.” (41:19, Jen)
“If I never hear the word private plane again, it will be too soon. And the girls just, like, go with it like it’s normal.” (21:41, Jen)
“It just gives me the ick.” (22:23, Teddi)
“The penis is like the 11th character on Miami. Maybe I’m just 57. I’m just not that interested in penis anymore.” (20:10, Jen)
“Take your plane. Put the dick on it. Put the kissing on it. Fly away. It’s enough.” (45:22, Jen)
“The whole point of Housewives is fighting and then resolution. And that’s what I enjoy.” (37:11)
“She walks in like she solved world peace… She’s coming in hot. She’s like, ‘Hey, everyone, what’s up?’” (33:26, Teddi & Jen)
Inspiration and Hair:
“They all follow you and you have obviously inspired them in more ways than one, but particularly your hair.” (05:05, Jen)
Private Plane Fatigue:
“If I never hear the word private plane again, it will be too soon.” (21:41, Jen)
“It gives me the ick.” (22:23, Teddi)

Note-Taking Nonsense:
“She’s taking notes of something they’re filming on a reality television [show].” (23:37, Teddi)
On Housewives Resilience:
“The whole point of Housewives is fighting and then resolution.” (37:11, Teddi)
Lisa’s Legendary Entrance:
“She walks in like she solved world peace… She’s coming in hot.” (33:26, Teddi)
Candid, irreverent, and seasoned by their own experiences as Housewives, Teddi and Jen blend shrewd reality TV analysis with playful, light-hearted teasing. No drama is too absurd to roast (private jet seating chart, bow-wearing adults, penis pottery), but they also show empathy for the women struggling in the franchise’s intense spotlight. Listeners are treated to both genuine industry insight and Housewives superfan banter.
Bottom Line:
