C
I'm alongside Tamara and Dolores Catania.
B
We are finally at the end of this season. It's getting really, really juicy.
C
Good season.
B
Like, looking back, I'm like, God, no wonder the show did what it did because every episode is just more stressful and intense and just amazing TV than the last. And yeah, no wonder the show has now just taken on this huge, you know, it's as part of the zeitgeist of reality TV in such a short period of time. This is such a fun couple of episodes because we kind of finally they finally kind of hone in on Phaedra, who has played coy for so long with everyone there, you know, Phaedra, finally, she needs someone to join her in the turret because everyone's getting picked off. She asked Kate to join her as a trader. Kate accepts. Do you guys think that that was a smart move?
C
I do. I think it was a great move.
D
I do, too, because I think most people would think Kate coming in, they wouldn't instantly put her as a traitor.
C
Because it's the least person that wanted to play the game at all. And most people that become traitors are, like, so into it. Like, Carolyn on my show used to sleep with a cloak on and go food shopping with a cloak on. Like, these are. She's not a gamer.
D
She did.
C
She wanted, you know, Kate wanted no part of this. She had to be threatened by death to even take the job.
D
So, yeah.
A
Yeah.
B
I think that the only way you make Kate a trader is in this way, because I would assume for producers, they really only want people to be traders who want to be traders. And I don't even like. Like you said, I'm not even sure if Kate wants to be on this show, let alone a trader, but I am glad I'm one. I think TV is better when she's on it more often. And this definitely injects a lot more Kate into the show. I just don't know if it's a smart move for Phaedra.
D
Well, Kate did change coming back. Remember last season, the first season she was on, she was just like, I.
C
Don'T want to be here.
D
Like, at least she acted like she wanted to be there.
B
Yeah.
D
You know, so she wasn't. I guess it almost felt like her first season. She's almost kind of like this shtick of, I don't want to be here.
C
Send me home, get pissing people off.
D
Yeah. And then she comes back and now she's a traitor.
C
Well, she's a little more into it, but still, she has the stigma of not wanting it. Like, she's not a gamer. We're not going to look at her on the best of days, even after we find out she's a traitor and say that she wanted that.
B
I mean, it's a. It's kind of a genius argument to have at the round table of like, I'm not a traitor. I don't even want to be here. What are you talking.
C
Right, right.
B
I would be like, that's a good argument. I can't. I can't really fight that. I wonder if, know, the decision between Trashell and Kevin to. To be murdered that night. I wonder if the Traders ended up watching it back and kicking themselves and not getting rid of Trishell, who was someone who was really, really.
C
I didn't understand that decision.
D
Well, Trishelle, this. She's a great player because this was the first time in the turret her name was ever even mentioned.
C
Right.
B
She was coming at Phaedra hard, though.
C
But she was coming at Phaedra hard. And by. By now, the most important thing, I think, for the traitors was to be to get out the people that were coming for them, even if it looks suspicious. So if they chose Kevin because it wouldn't look suspicious, they didn't have the time to do that. They had to get rid of, like, the real players, and Kevin wasn't a real player, they might have won. I think Phaedra could have very much won if she got rid of Trishell that night.
B
Yeah, but Trishell was going after Phaedra, so it would have put. It would have still kept the. The spotlight on her maybe a little bit, I'm not sure.
C
But then she could have said, the spotlight's on me. Why would I do that? She could have used that as an excuse, which is done so many times. Like, why would I be that stupid to get rid of the person who's coming for me? That should really show you I'm not a traitor.
D
Right. But Trishell, if I remember correctly, she had a shield. So even if she got rid of. She was still there. She kept it. She kept it a secret.
C
That's right. So they didn't have a choice.
D
Yeah, but she kept it a secret, so nobody knew that she had.
C
But why'd they keep mj? Why wasn't she brought up that night?
B
Well, because I feel like MJ was still defending Phaedra, and that's why they didn't want to get rid of her.
C
Got it.
B
That was my take on it. Well, one thing that I thought was interesting about the breakfast the next day is MJ asking if Kate's okay.
C
Like, wasn't that unbelievable?
B
Usually are, which is code for you don't look as good, which is code for you didn't sleep last night, which is code for a trader.
C
You look like you don't seem like. Like the light has been taken out of you. And like, I can imagine what Kate was feeling because she wasn't there three minutes before somebody's calling her out for looking different. That was a good call on MJ's part, a really good call.
D
Well, I remember talking about it early, before I was even gone. It's like, look at the people that look extra tired. Look at the girls that, you know, don't have, like, the makeup on the way they used to. And. But you look at Phaedra, Phaedra had, like. I mean, she looked like she had professional glam. She did herself every single day.
C
You know, there's no rhyme or reason really to go with, because, like I said, and you know, when it came down to us, you had, you know, Chanel, I am laying underneath the table sleeping, and she was literally the length of the breakfast table. But she, like, I could put my feet on her as a foot rest and she was, like, exhausted.
D
So, oddly, I can't remember anything about your season. I watched the whole thing and recapped it. I can't remember anything.
C
Good, then it'll be a nice surprise to you. We're done with this. I love that.
D
I was just telling Kate and I go, go. I don't think I watched season three. He goes, you recapped it? My memory.
C
Welcome to your 50s. So much fun here in this club.
B
So, you know, Phaedra's whole kind of plan is to break up the Peter pals. Trishell knows that they're outnumbered. Peter thinks that he needs to convince either Sandra or CT or both of them to win. Yeah. I'm kind of surprised that CT is so gung ho at Peter because it. I mean, obviously we don't see everything, but it seemed like Peter was the most faithful of the faithfuls.
D
So you don't think CT was smart to tell Peter he was leaning towards him or it was too risky.
B
Oh. So I didn't think about it that way. You think that was. That was gameplay?
D
I don't know. I would imagine.
B
I would imagine that CT probably knew that Phaedra was a traitor and. And him going at Peter might have been a way to be like, I want to stick around as long as I possibly can.
C
Yeah, right. So, yeah, you're refresh my memory for one second. Was CT good at picking traders?
B
I think so.
D
I have no memory.
B
Yeah. What show is this?
C
I mean, it's not like we didn't recap the whole show, but.
D
I know, I know.
C
Anyway, CT is something. It's funny when. When Phaedra dubbed him the repo guy.
D
Yeah, I love that. Good with her one liners.
C
Funny.
B
Let's talk about this mission. You know, they have to shoot these arrows at these stained glass, whatever, and whoever's left over at the end gets a shield. And kind of a big thing happens that I Bet at the time Phaedra didn't think was a big thing. But the movement over from trying to go for, I guess, CT and then town to Trishell, that was what Phaedra wanted to do and went away from the plan. And all of a sudden, that was Trishelle being like, you're a traitor because you're trying to get me killed.
C
Exactly. So if she was gonna do that, why didn't she just murder her?
B
But here's the thing. I think she was wrong about that. I don't know if Phaedra really had a game plan on it, but it didn't matter because she was right in bringing it up the round table of like, you did this. CT felt the same way. It was like CT's kind of. And yeah, it was. It was. It was interesting because it was a thing that I think was a downfall of Phaedra that I don't know if she even. I don't even know that she even noticed she had done it.
D
Yeah, I don't think she did.
B
Peter thinks he's up for banishment. He separates Phaedra from the group while Trishell convinces, you know, the entire clique to vote for. I think the one thing that Peter does poorly is he's always kind of pulling people aside and scheming and stuff. And I think. I think that it looks suspicious.
C
Well, it alienates people. No one likes to be alienated. So whether or not that he. People would have thought he was a traitor. I wouldn't have liked that about him. And I love him.
D
It would make you think he was a traitor.
C
It would make me think he was a traitor, and it would make me feel left out.
B
Yeah.
C
So then I'd be pissed off, and then I would want to get rid of him just for making me feel left out. Get my point? There's more than one reason for people to want to vote you out other than being a traitor. Like, people just not liking you.
B
Yeah.
C
You getting on people's nerves, being annoying. Chewing loud.
D
Yeah.
B
Speaking of people being annoying, this was kind of confirmed when we had Trishell on the show. But at the roundtable, John calls out Phaedra immediately in this, like, long winded, you know, soliloquy.
D
You have no idea.
B
Yeah. So, Tamara, I want to ask you.
C
Did we not see it all?
D
I did. No, he did not see it all. I mean, we're like, literally. Bullet points, please. Bullet points. He would go on for so long. Like, we had to film so much longer because he would not shut Up.
B
Yeah.
D
And he goes into great detail, you know, and half the stuff, you don't even understand what he's saying.
C
Yeah, they're very wordy.
D
He's very wordy.
B
But he has, like, amazing clips. Like, as an editor, I'm sure they were like, oh, yeah.
C
They had a.
D
Lot to pull from.
B
Yeah.
C
That's the whole thing when you're in post, I'm sure that they're like, this is great, but not for you sitting there, Tamara.
D
Yeah, we're just like, please stop it. Stop talking, John. I'm surprised he made as long as he did.
B
Yeah, this. This roundtable was the most frustrating for me because it seems so very obvious that Phaedra is a traitor and that Peter isn't, at least to me. But that's also, you know, hindsight 20 20. And I know what's really happening because I can see who's in the turret. But unfortunately, you know, gets. It's a. It's a stalemate. Right. Four votes for Peter, four votes for Phaedra. Comes down to mj. You surprised that MJ ended up voting for Pilot Pete over Fade?
C
I wasn't surprised.
B
Yeah.
D
Now that's her loyalties to Phaedra.
B
So here's one thing I wanted to talk to you guys about, because I think it's very interesting. As a producer, you notice that they never start with the same person who's voting. So this is some behind the scenes stuff. There are cameras that are seeing all. Everything that we're writing.
C
Right, right.
B
So then they go. I'm sure they've got a whiteboard back there in the control room, and they say, okay, they're voting for so and so. They're voting for so and so. They're voting for so and so. So we need to have them start. So the last vote matters.
C
Oh, my God, Wells, you're not a little heartthrob, but you're a smarty pants.
D
Yeah, never really thought about that. Absolutely. There is, like, a bazillion cameras everywhere in the roundtable, like you said.
B
Yeah.
D
They see your every move.
B
Well, I mean, this is. It happened to me. The last person to vote, it was a tie vote for me. And the last person to vote was Carolyn, who was a traitor, who voted for me. And that was. When I saw that. I was like, oh, it's good tv. It comes down to tiebreaker. Yeah. Anyways, that's a little. Some insider baseball I thought was kind of interesting to talk about.
C
Oh, I just got chills. Yeah, that was good.

Order now@shipt.com 360trees apply. Okay, on to the next episode. You know, we find out that MJ votes for Peter. He's banished. Peter reveals he's obviously a faithful Trishell. And John and CT seemed so not mad, disappointed with everyone for making such a bad mistake.
D
Stupid. Yeah, because they know well there's not.
C
A lot of time left right to to find these traders at all. So it's down to the wire now. It was funny when, when Pete left he at the roundtable, he said if you don't get a traitor tonight and you vote for me, they're gonna win. Yeah, I believed him when he said that, by the way.
B
And I believe he believed that too. Like I think that that was he was speaking his truth, not trying to be like save me it was like, listen, if you guys don't do this, it's going to be over for you. And it almost was.
C
Almost.
B
Yeah.
D
And CT knows. He thinks two Bravo girls are traitors.
B
Yeah.
D
And they are.
B
He's smart. He's a smart repo man.
C
He is. He is.
B
So breakfast. The next day we find out John was murdered. I. I assume John was murdered just because people were just annoyed with him at this point.
C
I think so. I do. I, I mean, he was just such.
D
A nothing burger on the show the entire time. He really was. He just like, was goofy and said his long winded stuff and he was no threat to anybody.
C
Yeah, well, then why murder him?
D
Well, it's getting down to the end.
B
Yeah.
C
So. So you see, there's loyalty. Because who do you think should have been murdered? Probably mj. Oh, she's my friend.
D
Yeah, but there's no friends in this.
B
Game if they know who's been on their side and who isn't. You have to.
C
Right now, that's what it comes down to. So since MJ was actually protecting Phaedra, she's staying. So anybody protecting the traitors isn't going anywhere.
B
Yeah. The mission is fun. I like. This is one that I wish I got to do. It looks like it's almost like, like America Ninja Warrior, where you have to run across these floating buoys and get the gold over there.
D
It was hard. It looked really difficult.
B
It did look. And it looked cold and gross. And when Phaedra went in, she looked very ang, which I don't blame her for. But also like, I like, I like missions like that because you, you end up having people like underdogs who you are, like, end up rooting for.
C
Right.
D
So you like digging through the dirt trying to find shields.
B
Yeah.
D
Getting wet. No. Doesn't sound fun to me because it's so cold there.
B
That's true.
C
It was so cold. And all the skinny girls had short, short things on all the time, hardly wearing any clothes. I honestly couldn't wait for every one of them to leave because I wasn't walking around like that.
D
That was Ekinsu on our show. Beautiful girl. She'd be like crop tops and like mini skirts. I'm like, it's 25 degrees outside. Where are you going?
C
Yeah, it was freezing in that castle and it was unseasonably wet and cold when we were there.
B
I don't remember. I wasn't there for very long.
C
Oh, I'm saying. Anyway, moving on.
B
Speaking of the castle, we go back to it, you know, One thing that I found interesting from this season compared to. Compared to our season is they really gave the cast some. Some room to breathe when they came home from missions. Before round tables to be able to talk and scheme and pull people away, there seems like there was a lot of time after missions, before roundtables, whereas I felt like. And Dolores, I could be wrong. So I wasn't there for very long, but I felt like it was when missions ended, there wasn't a whole lot of time to be able to, like, talk to people before.
C
No, that's true. There wasn't.
D
There was my season, too. It was more about. Especially because, you know, people don't know, like, because we film one episode in one day. After your mission, you have to go back, and if it's a dirty one, got to go back, take all those clothes off, clean yourself up, and get.
C
Ready for the roundtable and put.
D
Put the clothes on that you were wearing before you went on the mission.
C
Yeah, I think there was more time in the morning.
D
Yes.
C
Before the mission.
D
You mean breakfast time?
C
Breakfast time shortly after breakfast is when you all get in your huddles and then whatever. Like, the general consensus is kind of follows through the day. It's very rare that a little change, especially if there's no time to make a change or if something doesn't happen and somebody doesn't. A lot of the times, really, the traders never really actually show their hand. There's still a guessing game. At that roundtable. We have yet to seen a trader really screw up.
D
I feel like, oh, Dan didn't do that great of a job.
B
Well, he's just.
C
He just sucked in the end, but I don't. I think he thought he was better than he was at the game. And that's what made her.
D
Well, after the challenge, you know who thinks is a traitor? Sandra. She thinks phage is a traitor. She's finally. Everyone is like, okay, yeah, she. We need to get her out.
C
Well, she almost went out the night before. Like, if the person that doesn't almost leave the night before, usually at the next roundtable, they're out.
B
Yeah. There wasn't a whole lot of argument from her. I think one, she was exhausted, too. She knew, like, she got got right. Like, so at some point you got to be like, all right, how hard.
D
Do you think it was for Phaedra to lie?
B
Yeah.
D
Race base. When she asked her, are you a traitor? And she had to lie and say no. I mean, could there be a point? It might be against the rules. Just to say like, like, yes, but I'm gonna take you with me all the way to the end.
B
It is against the rules. I read the rules. Yeah.
D
So she had, she had no other choice but to lie.
B
Yeah. I want someone to do that, though, so yucky, at some point to be like, no, I'm not, I'm not a trader. And then be like, winky.
C
But, but you can't win with a trader. Faithful can't win with a trader.
B
Yeah, but then you just. Wait.
D
What?
B
Okay, so what if you did this? So. Yes. So a trader tells a faithful that they are a traitor not to tell on them. They wait until they have to recruit and then they go get that person.
D
Yes, exactly. Yep.
C
But you don't know if you're going to be the one to be able to recruit.
D
You don't depend on how tight you are with that person too. Do you think that Charay should have trusted her gut? She thought Phaedra was a, was a traitor, but she's also her friend, so.
B
She'S tough because you don't want to believe. And I mean, it's a game still, but you don't want to believe bad things about your friends. Right. And so that's never. Yeah.
C
Like, I mean, you know, my rule of thumb is if my friend says they didn't do it, they didn't do it.
B
Yeah.
D
Yeah.
C
So it's hard. I wouldn't want the job. Let's put it that way. I don't want to be a trader.
B
We finally get the vote to get Phaedra out, it's basically a landslide. It is a landslide. Even Kate, fellow trader, votes for Phaedra. And then Kate kind of makes a decision that I thought was very interesting. The way that she kind of went at Phaedra, it seemed unnecessary. And then it also seemed like it put a big target on her back.
C
Yeah, it was weird. I, I don't understand the reason behind it.
B
I don't either.
C
We'd have to ask Phaedra.
B
It just seems like she was trying to do a little too much. I mean, Sandra is the one who, like, realizes it and was like, I gotta come talk to her about this. Like, this doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I, I, I don't know. I thought that that was interesting. She hasn't been a traitor long enough to know what to do and what not to do. Right. Like, so unfortunately, she's, I think she made a bad play there. But, yeah, it's, it's almost over. There's only one traitor left. And, I mean, I know what happens, but I'm excited to watch these last two episodes.
C
Me too. It really. The ending is so rough. Like, it was like. And I bet you if I. If I was a betting girl, I'd say MJ's still mad. Just saying.
D
She was pissed. Even at the reunion. She was pissed. We had. She was pissed at her, and then Bananas was pissed at Dan.
C
Housewives hold grudges.
D
Some housewives hold grudges. I forgive but never forget.
B
