All right, all you faithfuls and traders, welcome into another episode of By Order of the Faithfuls. I'm Wells Adams alongside Tamara and Dolores, and we are going to be joined by another housewife. I'm going to be outnumbered in this episode today. Born and raised in London, Carolyn Stanberry now resides in Dubai with her husband, former Real Madrid soccer player, and her three children. Together, she and Sergio, her husband, own luxury apartments in Dubai, as well as a supplement company called Bust the Label. Plus, they're building a hotel in Bali, Indonesia, Very, very busy. Carolyn got her start on Bravo's former series Ladies of London from 2014 to 2017, and then returned to the network in 2022 for two seasons of the Real Housewives of Dubai. And now starring, of course, in season four of the Traders us. Welcome, Caroline.
Tamara
Thank you so much for joining us from Dubai. What time is it there right now?
Caroline Stanbury
It is 9pm Okay. I think it's 9am for you, right?
Tamara
Yeah, well, for me it is.
Dolores
It's 12 o' clock for me, Carolyn, and it's way past by you. Tamara's bedtime.
Tamara
Yes, I'm in bed by eight.
Caroline Stanbury
Well, Dolores, let me just tell you something. I have a whole newfound respect for you. That show is not easy.
Dolores
No, it's not. Thank you. Yes, it wasn't easy. And what was the hardest part for you is what I want to know.
Caroline Stanbury
You know what? I really thought being in Housewives, I'd find it incredibly easy because some of them were more sensitive than others. Like, I mean, I will laugh. I was laughing with. About Tara the other day because she kept asking me who was talking about her, and I'm like, everyone's talking about you. Everybody. That's the whole game. So some people were just, you know, sensitive. And I thought, you know, because of what we do, I'm not very sensitive like that. So I never asked anyone who was talking about me or anything like this.
Dolores
Never.
Caroline Stanbury
But I just think the hard part, I mean, I don't like the. I didn't like the challenges. You know, I'm not a challenge person. I like people to do things for me, and I managed to find people to do it.
Tamara
Did you like to be isolated and no phone and all those things? Cause Dolores loved it. I hated it.
Dolores
That was the best part for me, Carolyn.
Caroline Stanbury
I'm surprised it was the best. Fuck.
Dolores
What? See, I knew me and you were alike.
Caroline Stanbury
Yes, I look alike. Every show. They kept doing welfare checks on my door because I never asked for anything. I was so at peace. They're like, would you like to speak to Sergio? I'm like, no. No. The kids. No.
Dolores
It was the most peaceful grounding experience of my life.
Tamara
You're smoking crack.
Wells Adams
You guys are crazy.
Tamara
Crazy. Me and Wells are. We're like this.
Dolores
I cried when I left the room.
Caroline Stanbury
Okay, I didn't do that. But I was just over the moon to stay in there. I. I watched every miniseries. I caught up on everything. And actually, before I'd gone into the show, I hadn't watched the show. So I binge watched the whole Thing with. While I was in there, you know,
Wells Adams
you said that you didn't like the challenges or the missions. Technically, you know, the kind of like, TikTok and Instagram is a buzz right now. Talking about how Donna kind of didn't seem like she was a part of the first mission with the. The rickshaws, the pulling of the rickshaws. Was she there or did she not participate in the missions?
Caroline Stanbury
She was there. She was there. You know, I think that was a red flag for her as well, because some people fe felt that she was just too casual about it, you know, and that she wasn't trying hard enough. I mean, but, you know, I kind of understood too. Look, she's not a gentle sort of wilting wallflower, but she is older than the group, and it wasn't an easy challenge.
Dolores
Well, here's the thing. Those challenges are very hard. So we have Bob Harper, who was at one time America's sweetheart. Everyone looked up to him for being the fit man. Do you know who I'm talking about, Carolyn?
Caroline Stanbury
No.
Dolores
Bob Harper was on a show called the Biggest Loser.
Tamara
He's the one with all the tattoos.
Caroline Stanbury
Yes, yes, yes. Oh, I know exactly who he is now.
Dolores
Yeah. So he was America's, like, go to for fitness at the time. He was very, very famous. And he even had these workout videos that had come out. Teresa actually became friends with him because in jail, that's what she would watch to work out. So. Yeah, so that's how they became friends, and I became friends through her with him. And then he was on the show. He wound up in the hospital on the first challenge. Now, this is a man who was fit his whole life. Yes, he did have a heart attack, but he.
Tamara
He does heard about this.
Caroline Stanbury
He.
Wells Adams
I don't remember that.
Dolores
The first challenge.
Tamara
Are you making this up?
Dolores
No, because I wanted to go. I want. I was fighting my way out of the room to go be with him.
Caroline Stanbury
That one was very downhill as well, with a big thing. You know, you got the. The chariot carried you away.
Dolores
Yeah, so it was the. And that was the first one. So we had to carry those big heads up the hill wells.
Caroline Stanbury
I remember that one.
Wells Adams
The first one was a dragon boat race, and then the second one was. Okay, so we were in the forest. So. Yeah, I wasn't in that one.
Dolores
Okay, so running up the hill in the tall grass with those things. He actually started to get heart palpitations and did go to the hospital. Oh, shit. Yeah. So, like the chariot one or the rickshaw, not good for everyone.
Caroline Stanbury
I Thought I would find it a breeze mentally, but it was, you know, just working it all up.
Tamara
Did you have any hesitations to do the show or were you immediately in and did you talk to Chanel?
Caroline Stanbury
I was in, in, in.
Tamara
I was really.
Caroline Stanbury
I went to boarding school so I was like, this will be so much fun and so different. And when you only get one chance to do something like this and actually you guys would know. It was so nice to work with people that liked me.
Dolores
That's the thing. Yeah, it was like, it was a fresh breath air as they say.
Caroline Stanbury
I know, it was like, oh my God, you're so nice.
Tamara
It's dumb question, but how far is Dubai from Scotland?
Caroline Stanbury
Oh my God. Dubai from Scotland. Seven, eight, nine hours.
Tamara
Okay, so it's quite a flight for you too.
Caroline Stanbury
It was. Well, it was seven hours and then, you know, you've got to get to London to there to whatever. Yeah, so it wasn't that easy. But yes, I was happy when I got there.
Dolores
So how was it filming with the other housewives that, you know, we all have personalities and we're very strong willed and minded. Was there any time, are we going to see any kind of type of maybe butting heads with another housewife? You don't have to say who and
Caroline Stanbury
what, but I did have a little to do with Dorinda. It was about Donna because Dorinda was obsessed that none of us could vote for Donna. And I was like, why? You know, she's entered a game. Everyone knows she's entered a game.
Dolores
She knows what she signed up for.
Caroline Stanbury
Yeah, she knows what she signed up for. She's fair game, you know, why did she get in there? Everyone was going to be scared of her and she kept making this thing. So we did have a bit of a run in but obviously Donna's gone now, so I don't think you're going to see that. And actually Donna had a go at me at the round table as well. But obviously you're not going to see that. So, you know, the show is filmed over many, many hours and, you know, bits make it and bits don't. And there are some very, very large characters this year.
Dolores
Yeah, I saw that. Yeah.
Tamara
I am so curious to know how long were you tied to that tree?
Caroline Stanbury
Quite a while. Quite a while, yeah.
Tamara
I couldn't even imagine I would. I'm kind of claustrophobic, so to be held down or tied down, I'd be like freaking out.
Dolores
It's taking my breath away. You're not claustrophobic at all.
Caroline Stanbury
And it is filmed. No. And it's filmed at midnight. You know, it's filmed in the midnight.
Tamara
What about animals? They have somebody watching over you. So. No.
Caroline Stanbury
Yeah. There's an amazing man with an ax next to you. So. Yeah.
Tamara
Oh, that's reassuring.
Caroline Stanbury
Yes, exactly. So there was a man next to me with an axe as he would
Tamara
run if he's chased by a bear. And you're left there, probably.
Caroline Stanbury
But I mean, you've got to remember, everyone. I'm blindfolded. So after a while you just sing,
Tamara
oh, I forgot you were blindfolded. That's even worse.
Caroline Stanbury
Yeah. And actually when you look back now, I'm like, oh, my God, what a life experience. Who gets to do this stuff? I'm like, I'm 50 years old. I've just spent like, how much. How much long? Like, you know, last two hours tied to a tree. This is amazing.
Tamara
Yeah. When we had Chanel on the show just recently, she said she had no idea what was going on during the game. I kind of felt the same way. I'm like, I don't understand this. Did you totally understand the game?
Caroline Stanbury
No, because as I said, I binge watched it when I got there. But also, I think everyone's so nice. And then you're looking around and everyone's on the best behavior. So everyone at the beginning especially. And you don't have any reference to anybody else of what their normal personality is. I didn't know a lot of the people, so, like, you know, I mean, I did notice some shifts in people, but you don't know whether it's because they've suddenly decided they don't like you anymore or, you know, they're going into a room to discuss tactics. So you just don't know what to look for. You're just more trying to get by. And it's like being in school. You want everyone to like you, so you're just like, hey, every morning. And then you kind of forget about the game and the tactic. Right.
Dolores
Well, that's part of the strategy.
Tamara
Yeah. I mean, it's a real mind.
Dolores
Yeah. You know, somebody said to me, there's two ways to win the game. You could win by having everyone trust you, or you could win by strategy. I didn't watch the game either. I'm not a gamer. I'm not a board game player. I've never played these things. So I. I didn't really know.
Caroline Stanbury
I feel like. I feel like you just. You just. Nobody expected you.
Tamara
No.
Caroline Stanbury
Because everybody loves you.
Tamara
Yes, Everybody loves you. It's Like Phaedra, everybody else.
Caroline Stanbury
Yeah.
Tamara
When Phaedra was on, she was like, she wasn't talking game. She was preying on people and telling them how cute they are and loving on everybody. So nobody suspected it.
Caroline Stanbury
Yeah.

Amanda Knox
In 2023, a story gripped the UK, evoking horror and disbelief.
Wells Adams
The nurse who should have been in charge of caring for tiny babies is
Caroline Stanbury
now the most prolific child killer in modern British history.
Amanda Knox
Everyone thought they knew how it ended. A verdict, A villain. A nurse named Lucy Letby.
Caroline Stanbury
Lucy Letby has been found guilty.
Amanda Knox
But what if we didn't get the whole story?
Wells Adams
The moment you look at the whole
Caroline Stanbury
picture, the case collapses.
Amanda Knox
I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast the Case of Lucy Letby, we follow the evidence and hear from the people that lived it. To ask what really happened when the world decided who Lucy Letby was.
Jill Winterstein
No voicing of any skepticism or doubt.
Caroline Stanbury
It'll cause so much harm at every
Dolores
single level of the British establishment of this is wrong.
Amanda Knox
Listen to Doubt the Case of Lucy Letby on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Wells Adams
Were you guys shocked to find out that Donna was in fact the secret Trader? Or was it pretty much like, we think we know that she is not faithful?
Caroline Stanbury
Look, I felt like Donna would be the perfect traitor.
Dolores
Yeah.
Caroline Stanbury
And then because everybody was so scared of her, which, again, I was like, I don't live in Dubai. That's all right. And I really liked her. But also, she is incredibly. Because she was just more difficult to get to know and have conversations with, and we didn't really know what to talk about. So, you know, I felt like she was on her own a lot and sort of distant from the group. So I think everyone kind of felt that it could be Donna straight away. And, you know, it's a shame because I would have, you know, liked to see her get into it.
Wells Adams
Yeah, I think that production probably wished that she was able to stick around a little bit longer. You know, there's a lot of big personalities. You said there was a ton of big Personalities. I think that, you know, we have to ask you about, like, your perception of Michael Rappaport, and also, how fun is it to in real life watch Michael Rappaport and Yam Yum fight? Because I love watching it on my tv.
Caroline Stanbury
Well, I love Yam Yam. And, you know, Michael is Michael.
Dolores
He.
Caroline Stanbury
I have met him at BravoCon. I think probably all the Housewives have. And, you know, it's hard because he's such a big fan and he's like this. But I have said to him many, many times, what are you doing? And why? I couldn't understand his tactic at all. He came in and annoyed everyone from the moment he stepped through the castle.
Dolores
And he lasted longer than I would have expected for someone doing that.
Caroline Stanbury
Well, I think people just assumed he was so loud and so obnoxious that he wouldn't be. Yeah, he wouldn't be. But then I was like, why would you want to be this loud and obnoxious? But then, you know, actually what happened is he began to take everybody's eye off the game. He was a terrible faithful. If he was a faithful. And he was, you know, not a good traitor because he was like this. So we couldn't work it out as a faithful. He's horrible because we're all so distracted by him. So, you know, he just really got under everyone's skin. And he's very hard to like because he picks so much on people. Yeah, he just. Him and Yam Yam just could not sit at the breakfast table. They could not sit at the round table. They could not sit any. It was just a nightmare. And he was really affecting. Yeah, man.
Tamara
Actually, there was a lot of talk about just him being picked to be on Traders. A lot of, like, social media was not happy about it. They did not want him on Traders. And then it feels like as soon as he got on, he was even more obnoxious than he is on social media.
Dolores
He was faithful to Housewives for so many years. So I think he was really hurt when the housewives came for him out of the box. He felt he was part of the Housewives crew.
Caroline Stanbury
Oh, he's definitely a mega fan. It's like he knows everything about everyone. But I think. I think you're right. He's so obnoxious and he's so loud and proud about everything and very political and all of the things that you probably shouldn't be to be on a show like this. But at the same time, I think you're right. I think he's irritating as hell. And people will be standing at the screen and wanting to throw things. But that's amazing tv.
Tamara
It is.
Dolores
He makes good. He makes really good tv. And you need that. In every single, you know, trader so far has that one annoying person or that one person that takes the, you know, a lot of the attention.
Tamara
It's just like that one cast member that you're like, just get rid of him because he's annoying.
Wells Adams
Yeah. But Tom Sandoval lasted that was so long. And then they're the exact same character.
Dolores
Thank you. Yeah.
Tamara
He wasn't as vocal, though. He's not as vocal as he was.
Dolores
You didn't see it.
Wells Adams
Yeah, he was that first round table with Tom, he wouldn't stop talking it and I, I was one getting, taking fire and I was like, can you stop talking? So, like I can defend myself. But you know, you know, I was thinking about it though. Like, there is a tactic. I don't know if Rapaport was thinking this way, but there is a tactic in being so loud and distracting. Because Traders, if you are a faithful traders, would love that because you're always distracting people and so they won't kill you because they want you to be around a continuous.
Dolores
Right. You're a shield. Yeah, you're an absolute shield at the round table. Now, Carolyn, do you know the game now that you've watched it, you've played it, do you kind of get it now a little more?
Caroline Stanbury
I get the game anyway. I just think it's like anything when you're in it, it's incredibly hard to, you know, decipher what's going on in each room. And it's just so fast moving and you're in it, I don't think you can really have a tactic and play it well. I mean, unless you are this like, you know, emotionless mastermind, which, you know, there isn't a housewife, like. Yeah, I don't think so. I think you were extremely sweet and nice and you just scooched on through because everyone exactly liked you. But I don't think it was a tactic. I really don't believe you had that planned. And I don't think anyone can plan that, you know, and looking at it
Tamara
now,
Caroline Stanbury
it's, it's, it's like Housewives, you know, when people come into Housewives and they go, I'm going to play it this way and everyone's going to be my friend. But you, you can't play a scene like that because you have six, six different women with six different opinions. Right. And even You. You can't imagine how each person is going to react to you, and that is that game. So you're right. I didn't see, like, I didn't see Rob being this vocal. Like, when I was in the house. He was like a mouse. And now I'm watching it, he's like, wow. I mean, he's amazing.
Tamara
Do you think that Rob's gonna be the Dylan Afron of last season? I feel like there's always, like, these breakout stars that it's either a hot girl or a hot girl.
Dolores
Did you see Dylan Ephron at the golden globes?
Caroline Stanbury
Uh, uh. I mean, look at Moira. I mean, she looks like a, you know, a comic sort of vixen. She's unbelievable. And just woke up looking like that every single morning.
Tamara
She's stunning. I was just, like, paused here. I'm like, oh, my God.
Caroline Stanbury
And even with, like, it.
Tamara
No makeup, nothing. Just beautiful.
Dolores
Yes.
Caroline Stanbury
So those two in the house, I mean, wouldn't it be great if they had a baby?
Dolores
I know.
Tamara
Do you think there was any love connection in that house?
Caroline Stanbury
I do think there was a lot. I do. I do. I don't know. They knew they knew each other from before, obviously from love island. And so she was really happy to see him. Obviously. They're the same age. They were the youngest, I think. And, you know, I chose. I chose Johnny and Colton to be my wingmen who would be doing everything for me and in the tasks and all of that. And she, you know, two gay men. She chose, obviously, Rob. And I think, you know, there was a bit of flirting going on. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a show. Mad snow.
Dolores
Nice.
Wells Adams
I love that we've all been on this show and we've all watched it back, but I remember when I was watching season three back, I was like, there's a lot of stuff that is not here.
Caroline Stanbury
Yes. I'm absolutely gutted they didn't put in Lisa. Rinna pushing me on that chariot and I'm like, push harder. Because watching Rinna push me, she really was on there. And I'm going. I was waving my hand like this and I knew she wouldn't like it.
Wells Adams
No.
Dolores
Oh, she's the queen, Carolyn.
Caroline Stanbury
Yes. She would have died.
Dolores
She will not have that. No, she will not have that. In not showing that because you should have seen. We should have seen that 100%.
Caroline Stanbury
And I'd be going, push harder, Rinna. Push harder. I'm like, I'm dining out on this. And I was in the front carriage Waving. There is no Rinna pushing me. Okay. So I reckon they're going to have
Dolores
to do hot takes at the end. They're going to have to. They should show at every shed because the reunions aren't like housewife reunions. They're a little bit dry, let's face it. And I think that they should definitely show scenes at the reunion that we didn't see and have you guys talk about the stuff we didn't see, don't you think?
Caroline Stanbury
Yeah, I think that scene would have been iconic, to be honest. Rin has probably burnt it, So I really like that one. What else? I'm trying to think, as I said, you know, even like Donna Kelsey accusing me of being a traitor, I, you know, I thought that might make it at the round table because that was kind of pivotal. You know, they were saying, who do you think was a traitor? And she said, you, Caroline, and all of this. So, you know, there are a few things of my bits, but, you know, I feel like a lot. A lot of stuff got. I mean, look, there's 23 people with three episodes in already. How many people have gone?
Dolores
Four.
Caroline Stanbury
Yeah. And I think they're introducing all the traitors. Really. The traitors are huge characters this season, so there isn't a lot. I mean, you kind of blink and you miss most of us so far.
Dolores
Yeah. I mean, I think everybody will get their time, so I'm looking forward to the coming episodes. It's the. Quite the buzz, Carolyn. Everyone's talking about it. They love who they chose for the Housewives to be on.
Caroline Stanbury
Oh, good.
Dolores
I think you guys are doing a great job. You make us proud. You're right, Tamara, they're doing us proud.
Tamara
Yeah.
Caroline Stanbury
Candice is amazing. Oh, my God, she's so good. So good.
Tamara
The last we saw you, you were up for murder tied to that tree. At that time, were you like, just, please send me home? Are you like, I'm not done yet? Because there was people like that. They're like, this is too much. Just send me home.
Caroline Stanbury
Yeah, no, lots of people and actually girlfriends of mine that have done it before were like, they were so over it. They're like, oh, you know, do the first couple of, you know, the first week or so and then, you know, just jump on out. Don't try. No one cares. And I was like, no, no, I'm in it. I'm not competitive, because obviously I didn't. But lazy in all the things. But I really wanted to do it. It was an experience.
Dolores
It is. And we're so lucky to have experienced it. And, you know, and I say all the time, I missed it when I left. It's hard to watch because I'm not there.
Caroline Stanbury
And I.
Dolores
And I was one of the best times of my life.
Caroline Stanbury
Yeah.
Dolores
And the food. Let's talk about the food. How much skinnier did you come home because you already started skinny? See, I wasn't that skinny when I started. I came home skinny. But the food. We're not used to that food. It's very clean.
Tamara
Clean.
Caroline Stanbury
Are you out of here?
Tamara
I thought it was stung the table we had.
Wells Adams
We went on a different show than all of us, by the way.
Caroline Stanbury
We had baked farm to table. Yeah, we had, like. We had, like, lasagna and pasta for breakfast.
Dolores
Oh, I wish I had that.
Caroline Stanbury
No sandwiches and we didn't have any of that. What did you have? Farm to table.
Dolores
You sound like cut somebody's arm off for lasagna. We had in the morning. We had, like, briju and. And what? Eggs and things like that was projoub.
Caroline Stanbury
What's.
Dolores
Yeah, what's jujutsu? Yeah, like that. It's like that. It's kind of. It's pork, it's ham. It's the thin slices. Prosciutto. You gotta know what that.
Tamara
Oh, oh, oh, yeah.
Caroline Stanbury
Oh, prosciutto.
Wells Adams
Like on a charcuterie plate.
Dolores
Yeah, yeah.
Caroline Stanbury
Prosciutto, ham.
Dolores
So there was, like, meats like that. If you were lucky, you got an egg, some chicken, dried chicken. For lunch, it was very.
Caroline Stanbury
Well that we all had. Yeah, but what was your dinner?
Dolores
Dinner would be like the same. There was never anything sloppy. Salmon, Scottish salmon. What's better than that?
Caroline Stanbury
I mean, we had chips. We had like.
Dolores
Yeah, we never had anything fried, anything. One day, all you ever.
Caroline Stanbury
Oh, my God.
Tamara
Is those little shots, those little immunity shots in the refrigerator. Everybody doing those.
Dolores
I came home and looked for them. It's just not the same. So I felt it was almost like a fat farm for me.
Caroline Stanbury
Okay, well, no, I wasn't getting that in there.
Dolores
So what did you see? When I came home, I got off the plane, I made my mother have spaghetti and meatballs. What was the first thing you ate when you came home?
Caroline Stanbury
I think I ate in the airport, actually. I went straight to Marks and I landed in London and went to Marks and Spencer's and got an egg salad sandwich.
Wells Adams
Airport egg salad is a bold move.
Caroline Stanbury
It's the best.
Wells Adams
Well done to you guys for getting a trader out so quickly. Like, that's the one thing that we all talk about when we go to the show for a train.
Caroline Stanbury
You know what's annoying?
Wells Adams
What's that?
Caroline Stanbury
We had her. We had her on the first one. Yeah, she was, she was the first one. We would have been the first show ever to get them straight out, but they changed at the last minute.
Wells Adams
Who did?
Caroline Stanbury
And, yeah, and Donna was the, Donna was the one we were all going for and we'd all agreed to go for as we went into the room, I was so confused.
Dolores
That would have been a first.
Caroline Stanbury
Yeah.
Tamara
What did you think about her exit speech?
Caroline Stanbury
I thought it was good. I thought it was good. You know, it was hard for her.
Tamara
Yeah. But it was kind of a shock when she like, turns and like, she's gonna walk away and she's like, you gotta traitor. And it was like.
Caroline Stanbury
I think we all knew, though.
Wells Adams
Yeah.
Tamara
Okay.
Wells Adams
The other, the other Traders, though, you know, kind of famously on Dolores and I season, like, the Traders were. It was turmoil up in the turret and it seemed like it was extremely dysfunctional and they were making weird moves, whereas it didn't get along. You know, they really seem to work well together and are doing I for what I see watching a really good job. Did, did you guys suspect Lisa or Rob of being traitors?
Caroline Stanbury
Okay, Rob. Not at all. For a number of reasons. I just told you, he, I didn't feel that he was engaging or like, I mean, I can't read Rob at all. I, I, he was probably one of the people I spent the least time with. I, he told me a few things about himself, but at breakfast. But I didn't really get to spend a lot of time with him. Lisa, look, it's absolutely genius. Housewives, hunting housewives. So that's what seems to be happening. And, you know, I've known Lisa a very long time, over time, and she is a great villain. She, as I've said on the show, will run her grandmother down. She will happily run me down, re reverse over me and just to make sure I'm gone. So I was fully aware if, you know, once I knew or suspected or, you know, seen Lisa, you know, she's cutthroat. She'll do what she has to do and she's not going to feel sorry for you or there's, you know, why
Dolores
is she not a housewife anymore?
Tamara
She doesn't want to be.
Caroline Stanbury
She, I mean, she genuinely doesn't want to be. She's like, I think she'd rather poke her eyes out.
Dolores
Well, it's the way she went out. But she didn't ask to get Off. She didn't voluntarily leave the Housewives.
Caroline Stanbury
I think, though, she got a lot of hate at the end. Yeah. And I think she's happy in her life now. She's got a very different life. And, you know, she's looking after her daughter. She's in fashion and she's doing her thing, and she's still the same. She's a fabulous actress. And watching her and Candice and Rob in there, I mean, it's like they've known each other forever and they've been planning this. It's crazy.
Dolores
It was a very good pick of traitors.
Caroline Stanbury
Yeah, very good. I mean, and they're. You know what? They're all equal. They all stand together. You don't lose one of them at all. If I. If you think of anyone else in that house, I don't know if they'd be able to go head to head. And actually, Lisa responds better to men in general, so I think some women do.
Dolores
I do. Sometimes.
Caroline Stanbury
The relationship she has with Rob is great, you know, and. And Candies, but you can really see her form this sort of relationship with Rob, too.
Tamara
Now, you've been on multiple Bravo shows, starting off with the Ladies of London, which is coming back. And did I see you're going to make some guest appearances on that show?
Caroline Stanbury
No, I've been on. It's so confusing because there's Ladies of London and then there's Housewives of London.
Tamara
Oh, so it was Housewives of London.
Caroline Stanbury
Yes. So I've been on Housewives. I did a cameo there. And Ladies of London, I think, is dropping any minute again. But they haven't. They haven't asked me to go on. I don't think they have anyone on from the original series, which, you know, is a shame. They should. Yeah, but it's very confusing, I think, having the two shows.
Tamara
How's life after Real Housewives of Dubai?
Caroline Stanbury
Great.
Dolores
Great.
Tamara
Was there ever, like, a time where you're, like, really bummed, or is it easier when the whole show is just taken off the air so it's like, not just you?
Caroline Stanbury
Yeah, of course it is. I mean, if the show. If I had been taken out of the show and the show continued, I think it'd be very hard.
Dolores
Yeah.
Caroline Stanbury
But I think, you know, the show not being here has given me, first of all, I focus completely on my career and business over here, which has given me time because, you know, when you're in this show, your eye gets taken off the things that you need to do because you're so busy, you know, doing Glam or fighting with who's, you know, said coming for you next.
Dolores
Right.
Caroline Stanbury
Yes. And. And it's not. It doesn't. It doesn't end at the end of the day, you know, then you will get on the phone call together, then you all have to do it in the morning. Then the husbands get involved.
Tamara
Then you gotta be living. Yeah.
Dolores
It's consuming. Sure.
Caroline Stanbury
You know, it becomes your whole life. And I think. So whatever happens, I recognize that side. You know, whatever happens. I think this is a really good break. And it's the break that I needed when I had Ladies of London, too. And if we ever come back, I think, you know, you come back refreshed. It's good to have a break from these things and just remind yourself that this is not the real world all the time.
Dolores
It cannot define you. Being a housewife cannot define you, because if it does, there's an expiration date for all of us. And you have to have a love and a passion, just like any job. Even when you get retired, what do you do? You make sure you have a hobby. You make sure you have something. Plan B. There always has to be a plan B. And so many housewives make the mistake of making that their whole lives. It could be a part of your life.
Tamara
Career. No, nothing. The husband. Yeah. And then when the show's over, it's like, what do they do?
Caroline Stanbury
And that's it. If you watch people's Instagram, the show is it. All of this is it. You know, this is a small part of my life, which I really enjoy, and I'm really lucky to go be able to go in and go out, but nothing changes whether it's here or not, which is a really nice place to be. And I've managed to, like, build that for myself and also just make sure that, you know, going on. And as you said, it's like athletes or whatever, you know, you need to make sure you're secure for the rest of your life. And that's all I'm doing right now. You've built multiple businesses. I have multiple businesses. It's what. What we do.
Tamara
Yeah.
Dolores
I love your podcast.
Caroline Stanbury
Oh, thank you.
Dolores
I've listened to a few times. I like what you say about women's health. And of course, people want to listen to you because you're beautiful and thin and everything, but.
Caroline Stanbury
Yeah.
Dolores
And you have a young husband. You know, just the things.
Tamara
Like, she's got all the things he
Dolores
kind of wants, so. And we appreciate you coming on so much because we do know you do have multiple Businesses. And you are so busy, so this was such a treat.
Caroline Stanbury
Thank you so much for having me.
Tamara
Would you. Would you consider going on Special Forces?
Caroline Stanbury
Oh, my God. I don't know if I could do that.
Tamara
I don't think I couldn't do it.
Caroline Stanbury
No. Not at my age. Denise Richards rupted her breast, you know.
Tamara
I know. Was it Teresa that just dropped out? Did she just quit? She's like, screw this.
Caroline Stanbury
I mean, I didn't even want to do, like, you know, the.
Tamara
The missions.
Caroline Stanbury
Yeah, the missions here where I had to go bobbing for apples. I mean, hanging from a helicopter. No, no. I'm not sure.
Dolores
Being drowned. Being drowned. And are having to go through a little tunnel. Get it?
Caroline Stanbury
No, I think I'd rather come on an ultimate girls trip with you two. How about that?
Dolores
That would be great. Well, speaking of ultimate to God's ears,
Tamara
do you know if anybody from Dubai will be participating in the ultimate road trip that's happening for the 20th season?
Caroline Stanbury
I don't know. No. No idea. Maybe I am. If anyone. No idea.
Wells Adams
When it comes to the Bravo verse, who do you think would be really good for season five of Traders that hasn't been on the show yet?
Caroline Stanbury
Oh, well, definitely Denise. Just brilliant.
Dolores
Oh, I want Denise on so bad, so.
Caroline Stanbury
Me too. I mean, she just makes me cry. Cry with laughter. She doesn't even know how funny she is. So I think Denise would be so nice in this bubble of, like, what's happening to me? So I think she'd be brilliant. And actually, I said it to her because we did a podcast together last week, and I said, you've just got to go on.
Dolores
I've said the same. Can we put it out there in the universe, try to get her on?
Caroline Stanbury
I mean, come on, Denise, Denise, Denise. Well, apparently they did ask her, and that was the year that she had signed to do Special Forces.
Tamara
She's kicking herself in the ass for that one. They'll have her back. They'll ask her again.
Caroline Stanbury
Yeah, I think she would be brilliant. And then another one. I think I'd probably love to see Miss Fancy Pants Heather.
Tamara
She'll never do it. She would never do it. No, I don't think so. I'm gonna say no.
Wells Adams
Why?
Dolores
I couldn't see her.
Caroline Stanbury
Vicky would make me laugh, too.
Tamara
Yeah. Vicki would be funny.
Dolores
Vicki would be funny on the challenges. Because she's so clumsy.
Tamara
Yes.
Caroline Stanbury
So clumsy. I mean, can you imagine? Absolutely hilarious. I wouldn't want to put your life in Vicky's hands, would you?
Tamara
No, no,
Caroline Stanbury
no. She'd Be amazing.
Wells Adams
Well, hey, Caroline, we want to be respectful of your time. You've got a lot of businesses. What do you want to promote?
Caroline Stanbury
Oh, you can. How about my women's retreat? I'm coming to the US to Sequoia on the 17th of February, and actually, Denise Richards is coming with me. So we're going to.
Tamara
I want to go.
Dolores
When is it?
Caroline Stanbury
Oh, I would love to have you. 17th February to the 20th. We are going to these, you know, silver Airstreams and really fun. You're more than welcome if you want to come and speak.
Dolores
Oh, my God.
Caroline Stanbury
Oh, my God. It would be hilarious. You meet Denise Camping.
Tamara
It would be a very reality show on its own.
Caroline Stanbury
Can you imagine? There we go. We are creating our own women's troupe. It's called Stanbury Retreat. So it's on my Instagram. Carolyn, this is amazing. I want to look into it. That is so cool.
Caroline Stanbury
Thank you. And by the way, I'm sending you both. I'm my 50th, so.
Tamara
Yes, I just. I just responded to your DM.
Caroline Stanbury
Yeah, I got it, I got it. Okay.
Dolores
Oh, send me, send me.
Caroline Stanbury
I will. Thank you, girls.
Dolores
Thank you.
Caroline Stanbury

Dolores
Always.
Haley
Bye.
Caroline Stanbury

Wells Adams
All right, ladies, I've never felt more outnumbered by housewives today.
Dolores
Did you feel safe? We just want you to feel safe.
