This is Jenna eskowitz and Kevin McHale.
Tamara Judge
From and that's what you really missed. Jenna, did you get your delivery?
Dolores Catania
I got my delivery, Kevin. I ripped it open. I'm like a stickler now that I have kids for having high quality products in our house all the time. And Deetson Watson has done that. So, like, I'm not afraid that when Emma wants to eat all my prosciutto, because she will, that it's okay for her to do that. Dietz and Watson has been handcrafting premium meats and artisan cheeses for over 85 years. They're family owned and operated and they never cut corners.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Ever.
Tamara Judge
They do things the right way, even.
Teddi Mellencamp
If it's the hard way.
Dolores Catania
They're transparent about what goes into their food and what doesn't.
Tamara Judge
They know good taste doesn't need a.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Long list of ingredients and they stick.
Dolores Catania

High Key.
Tamara Judge
Listen to High Key, a new weekly podcast. You better listen. Speaking of tanning, I was sunning my nether regions because I read that you're supposed to, like, get sun not only in your mouth, but also in your other orifices. Wait, are you talking about you put your hole into the sun? I did. That's crazy. Downward dog mooning the sun. I was gonna say.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Is it cheeks open?
Tamara Judge
It's cheeks open all the way wide. Is it cheeks open?
Dolores Catania
Uh huh.
Tamara Judge
Who's holding them? Enough of that nonsense. Now listen to High Key on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast.

Two T's in a pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge.
Teddi Mellencamp
Hi, guys. Welcome to another episode of two T's in a Pod with myself, Teddi Mellencamp, and Dolores Catania.
Jenna Ushkowitz
How are you everyone today?
Teddi Mellencamp
I wasn't feeling well this morning, and right now are both staying in the same house. And so this morning he saw me and he's like, you don't look good. I'm like, I know. I don't feel good. And I'm like, can you get me a blanket? He's like, a what? I'm like, a blanket. And he's like, hold on, like, a what? I'm like, like a blanket.
Jenna Ushkowitz
The maternal instinct is uncanny. I mean, I just don't know where it comes from. A dead possum, maybe? I don't know.
Teddi Mellencamp
I cannot believe we've gone through three rounds of a blanket. He's like, where do I get it? I'm like, you've never used a blanket in all the years we've lived at this house. Where do you go when they're in the blanket drawer? I go to the blanket drawer. Well, let's start there. Talking about. Okay, so it starts off this episode of the Valley. We're already at episode 14 pretty fast.
Jenna Ushkowitz
It really is like, honestly, in the beginning I was like, oh, God, how do I get through it? And then, like, it picked up and now the real adults having real problems, and I. I'm. I feel for them.
Teddi Mellencamp
I feel for them too. I also have moments where, like, the good thing about it is, even though sometimes some people are driving me absolutely nuts, then they come back around and then you see, like, a little bit of redeeming side in them, and I'm like, okay, I can deal with this. I can see where this person's coming from.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I'm a Little bit, like, hooked. Like, to be honest, if I miss it, I'm not like, oh, my God, I can't believe I missed it. I'm not feeling that way about it. But when I'm watching it, I'm invested at this point.
Teddi Mellencamp
I know. And especially because this was a little bit of a filler episode, but it was still pretty good. It starts out where Jasmine meets Danny and Nia to give them a tour of a house that's up for sale. Nia, please.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Having kids because you're growing out of the house that you can afford. Right. Like, she wants.
Teddi Mellencamp
Move to the town. That's 20 more minutes.
Jenna Ushkowitz
You could do that. Do they want the name? Is that so important? And I used to be a realtor. I know this very well. They want the name or it's. The school system is very important.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. Well, they're going to get a better school system. If they move somewhere like Castaic or Valencia, any of those places, they're going to get a great school system. They're going to live in a mansion. But Nia stuck on this. I wish. I think she's stuck on it because I think there's part of her reasoning, why, if they don't live in the Valley, are they going to be on the Valley? But I want to be like, no one from Beverly Hills actually lives in Beverly Hills.
Jenna Ushkowitz
We could say that for a few shows, by the way.
Teddi Mellencamp
So just put a little ADJ adjacent and then we're fine.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Yeah. Nia, I mean, you could give up on the vow. No one's getting rid of you.
Teddi Mellencamp
No one's getting. You're a fan favorite right now. Even though I want to get into this whole either we're having another baby or we're having surgery type thing that we're going through with Nia. I think we're starting to see a different side of Nia. But before that, I want to know, did Danny tell Jasmine, please go find the tiniest $1 million home you possibly can. It's just not an appropriate house for when you have 6,000, 422 children. Like, if I was going to go live in that house with one other person. Great. Yes, I would probably.
Jenna Ushkowitz
If I was young and one other person and I didn't have my wardrobe yet. Like at 18, when I had one pair of sneakers and I borrowed shoes to go out with, that would have been so. And it actually had lights. Like, in my house, we didn't have lights. Shit like that. Yeah. So, yeah, that would. I think it's so nice for a starter couple, but not a family.
Teddi Mellencamp
Okay. So we look at this house at this point, Nia starting to see, like, she's going to come around. But I do think it means that there's going to be another baby coming.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Well, then you better hold off on your boob lift because that'll be a big waste.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, I have a question. She's very tough on her body.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Who isn't?
Teddi Mellencamp
I mean, I'm tough on my body, too, but, like, I don't know that I would be so tough if I was popping out four to seven children.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Right. But, yeah, because why? Because you would expect to lose.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, I would expect it to be a little bit hard.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Yeah. So that's. And. But she's young. Listen, she looks great for having kids back to back. You know, she looks amazing. But we're all our own worst critics. However, plastic surgery should not be at the tip of your tongue or anywhere near coming out of your mouth when you're considering having another child. Still, it's one or the other.
Teddi Mellencamp
Then we get to Kristin and Luke talking about their doctor's appointment. Kristin blaming their inability to conceive on her age and her body. I can only imagine what she's kind of going through, because now they've just gotten the. You know, we see the doctor saying, oh, oh, Luke, you've got plenty of. Your numbers are looking good. And then they're like.
Jenna Ushkowitz
And then she feels like it's her. Right?
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. I remember when I couldn't get pregnant naturally and the amount of stress I put on myself. And I even remember the last time around, the doctor said to me, this is the last time we're letting you do this.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Really?
Teddi Mellencamp
Because you are beating yourself up and you're putting yourself. You're going to have to wait a bit. And so then that was the only time that I didn't fully, like, obsess, like, getting the test. The day that they said I could get the test, like, I was just more casual about everything. I went home for Christmas. I went, whatever. They're like, then you're gonna miss your test. I'm like, well, is the test gonna do anything other than tell me I'm pregnant or not pregnant? And they're like, no. I'm like, okay, so when I get home from Christmas, I'll come in and check. And that was the time I was pregnant.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I feel like stress is such a component of. Of that making it harder. I just do. Because when. Oh, I hear so many stories, people saying, I mean, it's been 500 years since I was pregnant. So I can't, like, you know, whatever. I can't relate. But I feel. I feel for you when you're going through that, it's hard. But I say to myself, like, so many people are like, well, when I stopped caring, that's when it happened.
Teddi Mellencamp
But then when you're in the place where you are caring, it really pisses you off that people say that. So it's hard. Yeah, it's. It's a lose, lose. I mean, but. And I also remember, if you don't feel stressed, if you feel casual, you're gonna do better. And that's the same thing people have said to me about cancer stuff. And I'm like, when other people say it to you, it's very different than when it's sinking in for yourself.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Sometimes it's better to say nothing. Right, Teddy? But people want to say something to you because they feel. They want to make you feel better. They truly are heartbroken over you. And then there's so many wrong things to say and so little right things to say is the problem.
Teddi Mellencamp
And no matter what, nothing anybody else says to you, when you're going through a hardship, like either one of these things, like you really, really want a baby and you're trying to get pregnant, or if you have cancer or if one of your family members is sick or whatever, it. There's really nothing anybody can say that's going to take away your personal pain or what you're upset about.
Jenna Ushkowitz
No. So what would you. Since you've been through both of these things that we're talking about, what would be the suggestion to somebody on the other side talking to the person who's going through it? What would you suggest to them?
Teddi Mellencamp
I personally don't. Like, when people would suggest to me, like, they're doctors or different ways that they were able to make it work. Like, unless it's like, oh, my gosh, I had the same issue. My acupuncturist is amazing. Do you want to see them? You know, those types of things. Light messaging I was fine with. But anytime somebody was like, oh, you know what you need to do? You need to relax. You need to make sure you're getting your rest. You need to, you know, I'd be like, you know what you need to do? Imagine how hard it is for me to feel relaxed. So I would say. The biggest thing that I would say is just have somebody say, hey, I'm here for you. I love you. And anything that you need, let me know.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Makes Sense.
Teddi Mellencamp
And then it's like you're not even forced to respond if you don't want to. And your real friends know that if you don't respond, it has nothing to do with them. It's just what you're going through.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Exactly. Real friends, that's the big.
Teddi Mellencamp
That's the thing.
Jenna Ushkowitz
People that really care about you, because it's not about them at the time. It's not about them getting their answer from you. It's not about how they made you feel that they need to know. It's about you. Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
It's about you. And then when you come around, you're gonna feel better, and they're gonna feel better because nobody applied pressure on each other. But I. I think that Luke does a really excellent job of making Kristin feel good and also saying, he's a lovely guy. Yeah. And also saying, like, would you adopt? Would you do. How would you feel if I did surrogacy? And, I mean, you could tell that hurt her to have that conversation. But I think those are real conversations that need to be had to be had.
Jenna Ushkowitz
And. But you know what? Teddy, He. He did it in a way that was very empathetic to her. I feel like the way he worded it in a situation like that, especially for a woman, it's all in presentation. Like, I'll say to Paul when he tries to tell me something, I go, well, I shut down after the last sentence because you didn't approach me with it. Well, yeah, like, you came at me with it. You didn't suggest it more. I think he came to her more of a suggestion than anything.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Jenna Ushkowitz
However it was that he did it, I did, at the time, feel he was a very gentle man about it, which is.
Teddi Mellencamp
I did, too. I thought that he was very gentle about it. And also, he took away. I think a lot of men, whether they mean to or not, but when your significant other is trying to get pregnant, they want to put blame on something. Like, but did you have that special drink that they told you to have at 10am when they told you to have it? Or didn't you have a champagne three weeks ago? Are you not supposed to drink? You know, like, they start, like, Penny, like, trying to pick reasons. Meanwhile, we're like. Most people that get pregnant are, like, 16 and, like, aren't trying. Are probably. Drinking is a total disaster. So, like, you know, if you're gonna get pregnant.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Exactly.

Honestly, honestly, honestly. No one wants to think about hiv, but there are things that everyone can do to help prevent it. Things like prep. Prep stands for Pre Exposure Prophylaxis and it means routinely taking prescription medicine before you're exposed to HIV to help reduce your chances of getting it. Prep can be about 99% effective when taken as prescribed. It doesn't protect against other STIs, though, so be sure to use condoms and other healthy sex practices. Ask a healthcare provider about all your prevention Options and visit findoutaboutprep.com to learn more.

So we both got the same delivery ding dong at our door the other day from Dietz and Watson. Did I not tell you immediately after that we were podcasting that I literally ripped into the packages and was eating the spicy cheese and the prosciutto and.
Kevin McHale
I was oh, that prosciutto.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Give it to me. I was so excited.
Dolores Catania
So Dietz and Watson has been handcrafting premium meats and artisan cheeses for over 85 years. They're family owned and operated and by.
Tamara Judge
That we mean their family is on the floor every day ensuring everything goes.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Above and beyond their quality, above all else standards.
Dolores Catania
And even if it's slower or if it's inconvenient, it's the only way they know how to do it.
Jenna Ushkowitz
And they never cut corners. Ever. They do things the right way, even.
Tamara Judge
If it's the hard way.
Dolores Catania
And they're transparent about what goes into their food and what doesn't they know.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Good taste doesn't need a long list of ingredients.
Dolores Catania
They stick to what matters, like using the fewest, highest quality ingredients to craft their meats and cheeses. Simply made. Simple as that.
Tamara Judge

Teddi Mellencamp
What about the James May photo shoot with your hair today? You could really just zip right into it. Why not? T shirt on.
Jenna Ushkowitz
She's such a pretty girl. Yeah, Brandy. She really is pretty.
Teddi Mellencamp
She's pretty. I think, I think the entire. You see the house that you know they're going through it while they're taking their pictures. Of course Jax calls and asks for his ring verification code.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Does he ever leave her alone? You know what? I think they really. I think he's, I think he loves her, but he's just a disaster.
Teddi Mellencamp
Do you think there are some people that are capable of ever not cheating or do you think like if once I think this massive of a cheater, you're a cheater for the rest of your life?
Jenna Ushkowitz
No. There I was told once from my cousin, he was my mentor growing up. He owned, bought a bank, he owned strip clubs, he owned a lot of things. And he said that when men, you can never change a man. But they change in like they start to change in their late 50s and early 60s because when they're, and I've said this before, when that stops working they start to think about who they're going to die with. Right. Like, like it becomes all of a sudden they aren't like immortal like they, they find this human side to them. Like oh my God, like this, this isn't everything anymore. But that doesn't. That.
Teddi Mellencamp
I don't think that means that's what Brittany should do. I don't think that means Britney has to wait until she can no longer have sex to be in a good.
Jenna Ushkowitz
By the way, I think Britney, I think Jax has so much more trouble than cheating. There's just so much. It's endless. And I think that Jax should become a monk for a while and stay away from everyone and go find himself with a bunch of monks in a mountain and not come back down until he cannot hurt anyone.
Teddi Mellencamp
Monks. Monks and a mountain. That's going to go on a T shirt instead of it saying Jax is he just wear monks in a mountain?
Jenna Ushkowitz
No, that's it. That's where he needs to be. I mean this is an extensive, extensive therapy and it's like this is not.
Teddi Mellencamp
Going anywhere anytime soon.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Some cornball thing that he was at where they gave him his phone to abuse his wife every day. Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
Then Jesse visits Jax's apartment for the first time. You can tell Jax is uncomfortable even showing his apartment, which I'm like listen, this a thousand square feet bigger than the one we just saw for Nia and D. He was really worked up about having to.
Jenna Ushkowitz
This is a man.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. So you have to walk up some stairs, Jax. You've got a lot of pent up energy.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Go, go wear yourself out. After you go food shopping and have to bring up all the bags. Yeah. Oh, yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
You know what? He kind of made me, like, there were moments of things that he would like just. He was. He's such a hypocrite. Like, he'll be like, oh, you know, I'm totally. And Jesse, I really like this episode because Jesse's realized that he now needs Michelle to like him, and he's. He's coming around.
Jenna Ushkowitz
This was a really pivotal moment for a lot of people in this episode, by the way.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, well, Jack, Jax is still worked up because he found out that Brittany is dating someone else. I'm sorry, we're on episode 14. Hasn't she been dating somebody else since the beginning of it? Because last night checked.
Jenna Ushkowitz
He threw a table at her because she was showing she had like bin shots on her kids iPad. Yeah, I'm not sure this is news to him.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. And like, who. Aren't you seeing somebody else? Why. Why are we still talking about. Let's talk about the fact that you two can't have one decent conversation together.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Not one.
Teddi Mellencamp
Figure out a dec schedule for your child.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Well, they better figure it out real soon because it's not about them anymore. I, you know, I want to say. I say I want to find something wrong with her in all this because it always. You can always say it takes you. I don't want to be biased because she's a woman. I'm not looking at it like that. But this girl did nothing wrong. She did absolutely nothing wrong. Did she?
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, I don't think she did anything wrong, but I think the problem is that there was so many times that they would have these massive fights and break up, get back together. You know, this is throughout before they were even engaged or married. And then she still got engaged to him. I don't think going into it, she thought this is gonna work out well. And I think they're addicted to fighting with each other.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I think she did. I think that she thought she's in love with him. I think. I think he loves her. Believe it or not. I think right now he loves her more than she loves him.
Teddi Mellencamp
Only because she's pushing him away.
Jenna Ushkowitz
You can't. How can you not love someone who has stuck by you through your abuse, through your this? And I mean, not that he knows how to love or not that he shows it, but he has to feel something for her. We know he has deep rooted issues with family and all these unresolved issues that he has. And how could he? He's. She's. All he has in this world. That's it.
Teddi Mellencamp
No, and I think he knows that.
Jenna Ushkowitz
And he pushed her away, but he's.
Teddi Mellencamp
Been pushing her away for over 10 years.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Well, everybody has a breaking point. Some closer than others.
Teddi Mellencamp
That's true. That's true. Well, then we'll get back to them. But Nia goes to the doctor for her consultation, for her mommy makeover. She gets emotional when the doctor says parts of her body are almost at an extreme level.
Jenna Ushkowitz
What does that mean?
Teddi Mellencamp
So, like, to me, I could be wrong, but I. This is like the one area I. I went in and got everything checked, too, after I had my kids. But he said that, like, the way that her boobs are falling is an extreme level, which means that she would have to get a lift. And then I think one of those, like, nets where they pull it up. And then also, you know, it's like essentially a big surgery. It's not like you're just going in to get your tits done.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I've had it five times just like that. I've had five lifts. I've had five. I don't know.
Teddi Mellencamp
You got a lift every time.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Yeah, see, I think I had my nipples taken off more times than I can count and put back on.
Teddi Mellencamp
How many nipples? Are they always the same ones that come back on?
Jenna Ushkowitz
Yes, they put the same ones back on. Thank God they don't lose them or anything. But, yeah. So, yes, I've had. I've had it done so many times. And you really make sure you have the right doctor because it's not easy. They keloid and things like that. And listen, and I'll be having them done again, by the way.
Teddi Mellencamp
Mine are due. But because of my cancer stuff, I have to. Gosh dang it. I have to take a break from getting my boobs done again.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I'm so sorry. Can you believe it? Now I feel bad for you.
Teddi Mellencamp
No, listen, I have to wait on Botox tits.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Now I feel for you.
Teddi Mellencamp
You should feel for me.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Sucks.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, you know what? You want to feel bad for me again?
Jenna Ushkowitz
I'm here for you.
Teddi Mellencamp
My tits done for you. Listen, listen, this was a really bad day. So, you know, about 10 years ago when I went to get my boobs done right after cruise, because I didn't know that Deb was coming. The woman, the doctor who did my boobs said, listen, if there's a spot that needs a little bit more volume, would you like us to take fat from any of your areas? And I was like, yes, please, take it from my inner thighs. And she's like, great, we'll do that. I thought that meant that was a confirmation of what they'll do. And then I woke up and the first thing I did was checking my thighs like it's nobody's business. I'm like, hold on. I don't feel anything. And they're like, we didn't need any extra volume.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh, no. I could have let you borrow some if you need it.
Teddi Mellencamp
No.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I was like, no.
Teddi Mellencamp
I wanted them to suck some fat.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Like while you're under. Get it all done. I'm getting fat taken out of. They can have their choice. I just don't need it on the inside. I need it on there. And they're going to put it in my hands for wrinkles. For wrinkles. I'm putting it. And I'm doing a skin tightening with Renuvion at the end of this month.
Teddi Mellencamp
My gosh. Can I come? Am I allowed to get these things yet? No.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I mean, I'm not your doctor, but I'm going to tell you, you're my friend. Yeah. You come with me wherever I go. I get it for you too. Well, we'll. Too far.
Teddi Mellencamp
We'll do it. We'll do a little post. I'll wear my brown wig so.
Jenna Ushkowitz
So we can match. It'll be like, we'll have a little girl's day.
Teddi Mellencamp
You tell. I love it. But the doctor goes on and on about the insecurities that she's having. I have to say this. That doctor would have had some problems if he would have used some of that language about my body to me on camera. Who is a little more.
Jenna Ushkowitz
What did he say? Not all doctors have the best bedside manner, by the way. Yeah, I don't mind them. I'm not like want to date them. I just want a good doctor.
Teddi Mellencamp
I. At the end of the day, as long as it's a good. I mean, I'm watching Toxic right now, which you need to watch. You're going to be so obsessed.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Get out. Really?
Teddi Mellencamp
It's so good. So Armie Hammers wife, or I don't know if it's his ex wife at this point is on a show called Toxic.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Okay.
Teddi Mellencamp
And it, it's based on people who go in and they have these like toxic relationships and how they get out of them and how. Oh my. I'm hooked. Wow.
Jenna Ushkowitz
So is it like a series or is it serious?
Teddi Mellencamp
It's series but it's based on the truth and you're seeing the actual people tap into. It's so good. Write it down. Toxic. I think it's on Netflix. But if it's not on Netflix, you can do your own Googling. I'm sure Paul can.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I'm gonna. I haven't had a minute, but I'm gonna watch it.
Teddi Mellencamp
You're gonna need to do it, and then we're gonna have to touch base. Did you think it was necessary to prove a point?
Jenna Ushkowitz
What point was proved?
Teddi Mellencamp
I guess the point that they're trying to prove is, like, he. They're together forever, Janet. Yeah.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Yeah. Because anybody who ever got a tattoo with a woman's face or somebody's name on them. Never. I mean, that's. That's like a. For sure. Oh, yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
Last.
Jenna Ushkowitz
That's. That's hitting at home, because that lasts forever.
Teddi Mellencamp
And if I was a woman and I saw a hot guy and he had a baby, tiny little line on his finger, I'd be like, he's married. That's a get. Stay away from that one.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Paul had one when I met him.
Teddi Mellencamp
Tiny little line.
Jenna Ushkowitz
No, he had his wedding band. He got it removed.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, he did? Now, does he have a white spot there?
Jenna Ushkowitz
No, it's totally on. There's nothing there.
Teddi Mellencamp
I hope when it's you, it's just your face smiling like this.
Jenna Ushkowitz
You know what it is when you're gonna get those tattoos. Little word to the wise guys. Don't make it so dark. Make it so that if you ever want to have it removed, that it's very light. There's a way. There's a. Like. Yeah, yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
You could. You could do multiple ways. But as I was watching it, all I could think about was my dad. So my dad, when he was younger, him and my mom got matching tattoos of themselves. My mom's tattoo was, like, probably this big. Like, very, very tiny. My dad got a tattoo of my mom's face the entire size of his shoulder. So when they broke up, you want to know what he did? It was this beautiful woman's face. He turned it into Jesus.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh, well, let me tell you, if somebody was going to change my face into someone else's, why not? Who's better than Jesus? That's actually, like, you're almost okay with that. You're like, well, at least it wasn't another woman.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, I mean, Jesus. I mean, Jesus. Or gosh, something like that.
Jenna Ushkowitz
But, hey, turn my face into Jesus all day long. Not offended.
Teddi Mellencamp
Not offended. But either way, I'm watching Janet and Jason, and I'm thinking, these two protest too much. I'm over it. Trying to give them a Little credit. Then Nia heads over to Kristen's house. They chat about Kristen's struggles with conceiving. Nia opens up about wanting a mommy makeover. All this, I'm over it. I'm over it. I don't care about the mommy makeover anymore until you get it. And then I'll say, looks amazing.
Jenna Ushkowitz
But I'm going to tell you, mommy makeover is of all of us who don't know, which we all know is, what is it? It's boobs, lipo and tummy tuck. Yeah, that's a rough one. That's like the trifecta that you, you know, that's like rough with four little kids. Yeah, she better have some more help than just him.
Teddi Mellencamp
She better. Because even when I had my neck lift on, I love we could do a full podcast just on our surgeries. But when I had my neck lift on, my kids were older and I still, it was rough. Like, still to this day I'm like, am I swallowing? I'm not sure.
Jenna Ushkowitz
When I got my Brazilian butt lift, I couldn't feel my butt for a long time. My pants were down in the back, like literally all the way down. My whole ass was hanging out. I was walking down the street. I had bags and I didn't know that my ass was out because I couldn't feel anything.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, God. Who wants to give us surgery? We're ready for the next. You know what always seems to happen on vacation? Somebody gets sick.
Kevin McHale
Of course you're in a hotel or in another state, spiraling out, looking at potential illnesses and remedies on the Internet at 3am As a mom, I've lost.
Teddi Mellencamp
Count of how many trips have turned into me. Frantically searching pediatric care near me when one of the kids gets sick, that's.

Honestly, honestly, honestly. No one wants to think about hiv, but there are things that everyone can do to help prevent it. Things like prep. PREP stands for Pre Exposure Prophylaxis, and it means routinely taking prescription medicine before you're exposed to HIV to help reduce your chances of getting it. Prep can be about 99% effective when taken as prescribed. It doesn't protect against other STIs, though, so be sure to use condoms and other healthy sex practices. Ask a healthcare provider about all your prevention Options and visit findoutaboutprep.com to learn more. So Jax goes over to Brittany's house to discuss their co parenting arrangement. But the first thing Brittany asks him is, how many Xanax have you taken? Because I'm not even acting like yourself.
Jenna Ushkowitz
No, I saw that.
Teddi Mellencamp
And.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I mean, I don't know, like, is he taking. That's a problem because you know, that's the. A lot of times the precursor to heroin.
Teddi Mellencamp
But also she'd already called him out for doing cocaine on camera. Now she's got to bring up the Xanax.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Is he though? I, but I don't really vehemently just deny it.
Teddi Mellencamp
He just, he didn't say how many. Oh, I mean, I don't know how many is too many and how many is regular, but I would assume.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Well, I don't think he, he didn't.
Teddi Mellencamp
Get that mad about it. Like, he's like, listen, you already accused me of cocaine.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Maybe he's just sick of hearing her. But I'm starting to wonder. Like, I'm like, whatever. He's like, that's the least of what you've accused me of these days. But here's. I mean, this fight got to me, to be honest. It really hurt me for them. I kind of felt it. We've all been there. We've all been in that place where you can't even look at each other. It's just to that point. And then I want to know why she couldn't look at him. Could she not look at him because she hates him or because she loves him? And that's what confused me at the end. Like, not confused, but I was curious.
Teddi Mellencamp
My guess is that she is so shocked when he openly admits that he's not going to help support their child. She can't look at him. But she seemed fine about everything. Like, she kind of was just going through it. But, like, you're not seeing my son. You're not getting my ring camera. You're not doing this.
Jenna Ushkowitz
She's setting boundaries. He goes, I came here to set boundaries. She already set the boundaries. And she.
Teddi Mellencamp
But also if you want to set boundaries and like, this comes and like, I am. I don't know if you called if I'm in the middle of a divorce anymore. I was getting divorced and then I almost died. So then everything got put on hold. But, like, it's just because, like, I.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Don'T think you call it in the middle of the divorce anymore.
Teddi Mellencamp
Do you just call. But we're not back together, so what do you call?
Jenna Ushkowitz
You just. It's on hold. It's on hold.
Teddi Mellencamp
It's on hold because the per. One of the people divorcing is not in a place where she can deal with lawyers.
Jenna Ushkowitz
No, but listen, it can. Yeah. It's just right now, it's on hold.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. So whatever it is that we call it, not back together with my ex, not divorced. That's what we are. But I think that you have to set up some sort of a schedule. Unless she is never gonna let Jax see that her son again. But, like, I don't think there's anything wrong with Jax trying to say, okay, what days can I see my son?
Jenna Ushkowitz
There's not. And here's the thing.
Teddi Mellencamp
What?
Jenna Ushkowitz
She cannot fight with him if they're gonna co parent. I do feel it should be a supervised visit. She should at least be around for a while until he does prove himself, which he hasn't yet. Not to me, anyway. I feel that you cannot fight in front of the kids. You cannot. And I. When I was getting divorced, I went to see a therapist. It was the school therapist because I had never heard of a therapist before. Where I grew up, I had to go to school one time because I got an upfist fight and everybody got an epistfight. Anyway, so there was this school therapist. So the only one I knew to call was Dr. Platt. I go to Dr. Platt, I have an infant in one hand and a three year old hanging off my leg. And I'm sitting with all high school kids in the waiting area. And this kid walks out and he's punching and he's kicking the walls. And his mom is behind him, brokenhearted. And I like, go around them. I sit down, I'm broken, I'm almost half dead. And I said to her, what do I do to make them not grow up to be so angry? And she said, don't fight in front of them. And then. And from there, Teddy, everything halted. I stopped. I let things go that I didn't care about. Money was there. It was there. If it wasn't, it wasn't. For a long time it was. And then when it wasn't, I just picked up my big girl pants and I went and found it myself. Like, you know, seeing that child in so much pain and her saying that to me was enough for me to do what I had to do. And it was at a very good time that I needed. And I took. There was frustration through it. Cause you know, when you hold things in, you take them out in the wrong ways. I wasn't always the best mom, but.
Teddi Mellencamp
I'm sure you're a great mom.
Jenna Ushkowitz
One thing I knew to do was not fight in front of them. And Brittany has to understand that she cannot show her hate towards him. It's an anchor for her. It's detrimental to the baby.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, I think. I mean, I've been told that, you know, and then if you are to get into some sort of disagreement in front of your kids, the most important thing for your kids is to see that you've had resolution.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Correct? Yes.
Teddi Mellencamp
So there's conflict and then resolution and things don't just.
Jenna Ushkowitz
All human.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, right.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Yeah, everyone.
Teddi Mellencamp
But I think that's the problem. They have so much hate and love towards each other, but that they're not making any of the right decisions. Like, I felt like Jack's probably left this and went and screamed into a pillow for 25 minutes. Like, I don't think anything was accomplished.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Yeah. So emotions does not travel in rational channels. So until they can calm their emotionals down, emotion down. There should be a schedule. There should be a family member or a close friend for the supervised visit of the baby with Jack so that she can go. But until they. On a set day, but until they can get to that point, they cannot be together. If they're fighting, it's no good. Like, look at, look at Kim Zolciak and what's his name. The way they would fight on Instagram. I wrote in one time.
Teddi Mellencamp
I said, listen, I wrote in. Like I did.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I wrote a comment. I said, they're gonna. This is scary, but how does this.
Teddi Mellencamp
Work for the show. Then how are they on a show together?
Jenna Ushkowitz
I don't care about the show. How about that? I care about that kid and the mental health of the two of them. They don't have. They shouldn't. Listen, people on our show hated each other and filmed for 14 years. What do you do? You. Then, you know, just don't film together. Everybody goes to the party. Stay away from each other. Yeah. You don't. Don't talk each other, fighting, you know, killing each other, it's not going to go. It's not getting anywhere.
Teddi Mellencamp
The only thing it's going to do is it's going to potentially have both of you lose custody and that.
Jenna Ushkowitz
That's the least of it. How about what he's going to go through?
Teddi Mellencamp
What? Yeah, go.
Jenna Ushkowitz
What he's going through. You know, where is he when this fighting's going on? Is he in the next room? Kids know more than we think.
Teddi Mellencamp
She was there when she threw. When he threw the.
Jenna Ushkowitz
That's what I'm saying.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Jenna Ushkowitz
No, there's still time. He's young enough where they can. They can redeem themselves and get. Get on with their family in a nice way. They. There's love there, however you want to see it. I do feel like there's love, but. But the hate has to be buried and gone. Listen, Brittany, Jax is not gonna change. He's not gonna get any better. Do not expect anything from him. Figure out how to make this work altogether.
Teddi Mellencamp
Figure out how to make yourself happy. And figure out a way that your son can see his father in a healthy way.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Correct. And there are a lot of ways it can be done. I hope for them, if they need help finding that somebody steps in and helps them.
Teddi Mellencamp
I do, too. I hope that's how we start to, like, end the season, because, I mean, there's one episode left.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Let's end the season with some resolution to this because what I just saw is riveting. It is the price you pay at the end of the day for this. Your health, your mental stability, the time you've lost hating somebody, and the toll it takes on your child. Please, I'm begging them, if you hear me, please, you can even call me and talk to me. I've been through it.
Teddi Mellencamp
She will talk to. Will give you good advice.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I will. I'm here for you.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. Well, I love you, Dolores. And talking to you next week, it.
