I'm catching my breath a little bit.

Okay. You've been through a lot. I. I know that. And if you want to talk about it, we'll talk. If you don't, you don't.

I think I just hit a wall. Like, there's so much going on in my life, and it's just. I don't know, I mean, between therapy and Teddy and some other personal things I'm going through, I just. Just hit a wall. And I just felt like, you know, I'm just. I feel like I'm in a full depressed mode.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Well, then you have to listen to yourself and take a break. Whatever that means. You're human. Like, people forget we're human, right?

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

We go through getting. Go through a lot of emotional roller coasters besides, in life, in the business. And then everybody hits a breaking point, don't they? And you've been doing this. When you told me the other day you were doing this for 14 years.

[Tamara Judge]

No, it's like. Well, actually full blown 17 years. That's.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

That's. So some people don't last a season. A season. They don't.

[Tamara Judge]

I'm just so mad at myself because I feel like I just can't pull myself out of the funk. Well, I'm usually pretty good at just pulling myself out. And I've been saying it like, you know, for a while now, like, I just can't pull myself out of this. I can't pull myself out of this. And it was just 20, 25. Just been a real doozy. That's just been one thing after another for everyone.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Yeah. Yeah. And here's the thing. I feel like when you care about someone, you love them with everything you have. And your Achilles heel is when somebody you love is going through something or hurt. And I think that was. That was your breaking point. I think everything with Teddi and watching what she's going through weighed very heavy on you. I haven't seen you once since this all happened that you weren't viscerally upset. Like you really care.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

And. And that says so much about you to me because there's a lot of people that don't have the ability to love like that and care like that.

[Tamara Judge]

I went into this season not knowing, not sure. Very anxious and just dealing with some stuff through therapy. And you Know, that really breaks you down to your lowest point.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

That's why I don't do therapy.

[Tamara Judge]

That's why. Seriously, I'm like, should I just quit? Because it's just. I feel like it's breaking me down so hard. And then jumping into the show and then Teddy, like, it's just a combination of so many different things.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

And I don't think you should quit therapy. Tamara, you're there now.

[Tamara Judge]

I know.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Do. It has. These things have to be addressed at some point, and it's almost like when you break the seal, you know?

[Tamara Judge]

Right, Right. It just. I just feel like everything around me is starting to crumble, and I just couldn't take the extra pressure. So as of right now, I'm just not good. But, you know, Teddy gave me a pep talk, and that is, like, the first time I've laughed in so long. Like, we laughed. Laughed. And she just. She just yelled at me and said, listen to me. If I have to be bald and fat right now and going through this, you get your ass back over there. And I said. I just started laughing. So I think I'm gonna see her today. So I think that's gonna put a little bit of spark back into me.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

You need that? Yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

Such an inspiration. So I just. I don't know. I don't know what I need. I don't know if I need to, you know, go on medication or what, but I just need to pull my. Pull it. Pull it together.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

For sure. For sure. And you will however way you need to. But you know yourself, and we all know when that time comes in relationships and jobs. I don't see it. I think you still got a lot in you, Tamara. Everyone wants to see you back. Everybody. The talk on the town, the word on the street is you just need a little break.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah. When I get like this, my body just shuts down. It just completely shuts down. And I can just sit in one place and just stare at the wall for hours. And that's how I feel. And it's really hard to film like that when you feel like that.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Well, you've done a lot in filming for a long time, so it's. If you need to sit and stare at the wall, I think it's. It should be allowed because that's a. That's a part of real life. Right. This is reality. This is really what's going on with you. So sit and stare at the wall and don't feel the pressure of. I think that you're so. And I could be wrong, but you're so in tune with the reaction that we give for everyone. For that, you feel like you're not doing what you're supposed to do.

[Tamara Judge]

Yes, exactly.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

And you're a worker.

[Tamara Judge]

And then I'm 100% worker. And I just feel like I don't. I don't have to give what I normally do. In which to me just feels like, why am I doing this?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

And that feels like that's pressure too. But I don't. I don't see that. I think that being. Being true to who you are, which we can never. We can never say you haven't been, regardless of whether it was the popular vote or it wasn't, but right now, this is who you are. And I think that we all need to also see that vulnerable side of you instead of that reactive side. You know, it's. It's. That's such a part of you.

[Tamara Judge]

I know, but there's a reason why. There is a reason why you just see reactive side to me is because I don't deal with emotion very well.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I don't understand that.

[Tamara Judge]

It's not. I'm not good at that.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I'm very much understanding of that. Like I said, no one's ever seen me cry unless it was over my dogs twice in eight years on camera, and my kids have never seen me cry in person. I don't deal with that. So when I'm hurt, I get angry, and when I'm hurt, I get almost violent. That's my reaction to hurt. But when I'm over overly hurt, when somebody in my life is hurt, that is where I break down. And that's what I see in you right now. Yeah, that's okay to be like that. And, And I. And I don't like seeing you hurt, but I. I like the people who I knew was in you. I like for people to see that in you. The caring side, the side that your heart is so big that it. Sometimes it. It overtakes you and, and your anger a lot of times was out of hurt.

[Tamara Judge]

Oh, 100%. And I think people misunderstand that.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Right.

[Tamara Judge]

And I understand completely. But it's just. Like I said, it's just a combination of so many things at once that my right, my literally my body just shuts down like it doesn't want to do this.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

So that's how I know everything that you're feeling is so sincere. Because a truly hurt person, a truly worried person about somebody else doesn't have it in them to go back at the people that are coming for them or the fight. You don't have the fight in you because you're truly, sincerely broken down right over worried about Teddy and all the other things that are going on.

Yeah. Yeah. So I am just gonna power through this.

Yes, you are.

We're gonna get her done. But I'll be fine. I'll be fine. Just need to take some time and.

I know. So Alex is the owner of our production company here for Orange county in Beverly Hills and the Valley and all the other ones. So there was a headline. I mean, well, not headline. There was a podcast with Jax is coming clean about battling cocaine addiction for two decades during Alex Baskin's Hot mic. I know I am an addict. I have substance issues, primarily with cocaine. It's hard to say out loud. I've been dealing with it on and off since I was 23 and I'm now 45. There's been times where I would stop doing it and then he would, you know, go back to doing it heavily. So yeah. So. An exclusive statement by Jacks. For many years I depend on alcohol and drugs as my way to cope and mask my deeper issues. This past year has been the hardest year of my life, but also the most eye opening and transformative. Coming to terms with my many mental health challenges and being honest about my addiction, both of myself and others have been a crucial part of my healing. I've been on a day to day process, but I'm committed to my recovery. So he is getting help.

I wish him the best.

I do too. That's got to be hard to talk about.

That's half of his life that's like been, I know, so long to have that and I guess admitting it and being self aware is the first step. Right. Finally publicly he's being held. He's making himself accountable now.

Yep, yep. And I think that's one thing, when you really put it out there, you're holding yourself accountable. You know, it's one thing that would.

Show like the up and down crying and the mood swings, right?

[Tamara Judge]

Yep. For sure. For sure. Now Brittany, his ex wife is glad that he finally admitted to his cocaine addiction. In Us Weekly article, Brittany broke her silence after Jax Taylor revealed he's been struggling with cocaine addiction for years. I'm glad that he finally admitted to what was really going on. For the first time I can speak openly about the extent of the trauma he instilled in our family for years. Do you think this is necessary? Right after he announces it, like, I don't know, to go into detail about what he's done to the family? Like he's already in a very down state. I don't know. But I mean, I feel sorry for everybody involved.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I feel sorry. Yeah. For everybody involved. And to her credit, she kept it quiet for a long time. I mean he wasn't very nice to her and he, she could have said, came out with it before. Like she, I feel like, oh, it's something she's been holding in for a long time. And yeah, now she can say, I want people to know what I had to deal with. It was so much more than just what you saw.

[Tamara Judge]

Oh, I see. She's saying here in this article, his behaviors are still alarming. And his treatment plan seemed to be the bare minimum. He thinks that he's not getting, you know, the most.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

So then why is he coming out with it if he's not? He says he's committed, but is he really committed? Like.

[Tamara Judge]

Well, I think that's what she's saying. Maybe he's not that committed.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Being committed is putting yourself away. Not for a week. People, places, things. Take your stuff. I went through this with a family member and you go away and there's no. We don't see you for six months and that's how you gotta do it. Like. Yeah, I don't see. Especially with something this deep. He needs to be in a very extensive program.

[Tamara Judge]

Yes. Especially to deck 20 years of doing cocaine.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

What makes him want to come clean now? Is there something.

[Tamara Judge]

Well, I think his life was just falling apart with his divorce and all those things. I know his dad passed away a few years back dealing with mental issues, maybe doing therapy. I don't know. I don't know. But the Valley.

The Valley season buzz.

Yeah, yeah. Season two trailer.

I hate to say it.

Say it. But listen, all the power to you. You have a family whether you're divorced or not. And you have a responsibility to come clean now. Yeah, well, there's more people involved, you know, for sure.

So the Valley opens up on a boat with Luke proposing to Kristen. On the. On the Britney and Jax side of things, we see Brittany telling the other girls about how Jax has seen another woman with one of them leaving her thong on the seat. Oh my God. Later on, he's Jack served with divorce papers. Things are getting messier than with Jesse and Michelle. We first see Jesse. Now I'm confused. Now Jesse and Michelle are divorced. Getting divorced or divorced, but they're still both back on the show. That's got to be more. Could you imagine somebody divorced?

But then now there's going to be two divorced couples on the show.

Exactly. We first see Jesse.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

That should make for interesting.

I know. And I love to see Lala back on TV getting told off by lala. Then Danny is seen telling Luke and Michelle Michelle is sleeping with a billionaire for fifteen hundred dollars a night. Jesse asked Michelle, did you cheat? As she tossed a drink in his face, saying F you. Later in the trailer, Michelle tells Jesse he's an effing drunk. To which he responds, well, she's a hooker, so it's fine. Which leads Michelle screaming, I'm the mother of your child. I mean, this is where you sleep.

With someone for money. If she's really sleeping with. And where did they get the information from?

[Tamara Judge]

Could you imagine if I found out? I found out. I'd say, hey, where's that money? You gotta share it with me.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

It's okay if I get half.

If I get half, I'm good.

What's he care? She's making money. You could put that into, like, the divorce settlement. She's.

I. I mean, and I've been dodging my trainer every day. He's like, I got 10, I got an 11.

So that was because the storm had ruined the place where they were getting married. We all were going. My whole family, my brother, my sisters. And it wasn't going to be ready. Twice it got ruined. So then Frank had had. Twice it was ruined.

I love you because they have so much. I know that you do, and he loves you, too. And you guys have a lot in common. You like to work out. You ride motorcycles. But there was just. I guess they had to cancel their dream wedding due to hurricanes. You know who married them? David Principe. Dr. David, my ex married them. Heather.

No, I wasn't married that long. I got divorced when I was 28, and I met Frank when I was 18. I was married for less than five years.

So my exes, along the way had to understand the dynamics of my family.

And if they didn't, then, I mean, it made things difficult, but I wanted that for my kids. And the fact that Frank was somebody who was a part of our family, even though, you know, the divorce and like I said, it doesn't happen with everybody. It takes two. But, you know, that was something I worked very hard on. So. So are There exes that I don't talk to. Maybe one or two over those 20 something years.

You're such a good person, Dolores. You really are. I love you so much.

Life is too short. And resentment is an anchor, and hating someone is an anchor. I don't have to talk to those people every day, but I don't hate anybody if they're not in my life anymore. They did me a favor. That's how I feel.

They all so badly want her to say we're in a relationship.

Well, if you're not, you can't say it right.

So they just keep going and going and pushing. So Sutton says she wants to respect Kyle's privacy. Garcelle says Sutton is scared of Kyle and bows down to her. Sutton says that Garcelle said that Garcelles.

Garcelle said that Sutton is afraid. I thought they were friends. Is anybody friends here? I know Garcelle and Sutton, good friends.

Now, I don't see that anybody's afraid Of Kyle? I don't see that at all. I mean, we saw the first half of the show. Everybody was kind of going after her except for Erica. So I don't see anybody afraid of her.

I don't see that. Is Garcelle mad at Sutton for not seeing. Sticking up for her against both?

No, I think that Garcelle sounds like.

Well, I'm sorry. I like Kyle. I like everybody, but we all know the nature of the beast, and we all know what we signed up for. Nobody is. She brought her on.

She brought her on last year.

So now. And she knew what that meant. She's not an amateur here. She knew what that was. And I mean, listen, either you come out and say, we are not in a relationship. I haven't heard that. I haven't heard that. I'm not in a relationship. We are best friends. And I am, you know, I am not a lesbian. I am a head of. She actually saying anything about that?

[Tamara Judge]

She's not. I think sometimes, especially, you know, being an actress and stuff, you're told, like, just don't say anything. But she has told me that. She's told me, like, we're really good friends.

So she just has to say, I mean, am I wrong? Did I miss it anywhere? I haven't heard her say it.

But if you come onto the show and you have things to hide or you're going through something or if you're in trouble some way or if you've done something bad in the past, it's coming up. There's nowhere to hide.

In this. So you have to address it head on. Specific. No. Vague. No. I don't know. No. Maybe I'm figuring it out. No, you can't figure it out for two seasons.

Yep. So it's one of those things, like people want answers on every cast. You know, there's stuff that people have done in their past or something they're doing they don't want brought up or present for our present. Right. So it's going. It comes up. So you're right. It's the nature of the show.

We don't have that luxury. They want answers. People want answers.

[Tamara Judge]

I know. And the more open you are on reality tv, obviously, the more people respect you, for sure. So Kyle tells Bose that she appreciates her texts. When the photo of Mo came out, Bo says she is the kind of friend who is ready for war. Kyle says Mo just moved out the first. When she first met Bose, she says part of her would just coexist in the house together, which is not realistic. Bo says her husband Peter died after they had separated. She has. She.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I didn't know that, by the way.

[Tamara Judge]

So she was very open and honest. I just love her. I think she's such a great addition to the show. Her husband Peter died after they had been separated. She was afraid to ask for a divorce. There was a woman he was seeing when he was sick. She talks about the pain of seeing someone move on. She talked about being in the hospital and seeing that woman giving him gentle kisses, and she's like, no way. Get the hell out. This is my man. So Kyle feels like the photo of Mo changed things for her. She Says it gives her permission to move forward, which is good. Bose is that friend that will help you bury a body if you need her to and then go treat you at a day spa. Like she.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I'm so happy that they had this moment that they needed so badly. And, you know, I think Bose didn't really get to know Kyle for who she was because she came in fighting for her friend Dorit and very defensive for Dorit because Kyle and Dorit were on the outs. She came in as Dorit's friend, and now she's getting to know, which is okay to do. Not on my show. Okay to get to know someone else on the show on your own terms.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

And figure it out on your own. So sitting there with Kyle and Kyle saying, when I met you, he had just moved out. And then maybe now Bose understands why she felt she was cold and distant because she was going through that with Mauricio moving out at the time, which was the last thing she wanted. It sounds to me Kyle was afraid to be without him, that Kyle was afraid to not have him there because he was a security for 30 years.

[Tamara Judge]

Or something like that. She's still living in that big house by herself, like, and she was comfortable with him living in the house because it kind of felt like, you know.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

It was a body in the house. It wasn't the closure. He was still there. But, you know. You know what that is? To me? That's procrastinating. A hurt. Yeah. It's coming. That's pushing off reality because it's coming and it's going to hurt more. Get it over with. Pull off the band aid. Him moving out did her a favor. That was good. The picture with this girl, another. Another stepping stone to her being able to get used to the life that is the reality for her now. Yeah, I think they lived a fake life for a while.

And I think laying next to somebody who's not mentally there or when you're talking to them, you feel like they're thinking of somebody else that's dying a thousand deaths.

Oh, for sure. And then just, you know, knowing, thinking something in your head, but not wanting to talk to your partner about that. And just because you don't want to rock the boat, it's really living in denial. Like, I don't want to rock this. I know it's not perfect, but I don't know what life's gonna look like without them by me.

It's scary.

Divorce sucks all the way around. Even if you want it, even if you don't want it. It's really sucks when you live in.

A tumultuous situation if you're in the same house with someone that you. Who's violent, who's horrible to you, they didn't have. I don't see that there. Maybe there was. Who's he going out to bang when he walks out the door, but he was still very much a manly figure in the house for her. Like, she. That was a different meeting from the first time we saw them together.

Separated for three months. PK says one of her. Their issues in their marriage was Dorit's control issues. When they were separated, Dorit was dictating where PK was going to live. PK says he felt like an approval process. Dorit asked what prompted the long email from PK about finances. PK says it was a summary of how she made him feel. PK says she brings out the worst in him. I mean, he couldn't have said I want a divorce any clearer than he did.

Yeah. So Dorit doesn't feel like she wants a divorce from pk and PK is calling all the shots. Well, I mean, it's quite clear, you know, the marriage wasn't good. He's not happy. He wants out. I mean, I don't know what else she needs.

I think she figured she's got it. She looked at him through different eyes. The way I see it, I think she's not a stupid girl. She sees he's gone. He was gone at the last time. They were sitting and she was like, well, we talk every day. We, like, talk a couple times. A day. He's like, that's gonna stop.

I knew it was over then. Now she's sitting there going, really? You're. You're so hard to get along with. Like she's over him kind of.

I was on Fallon. Kelly Clarkson airs tomorrow. But we did so much press in two, three days, four days last yesterday, I had two podcasts in the city. I had Rebecca Minkoff and Taylor. So I'm like, I'm tired and I don't want to go to an overly packed place. But he was there because he reps Boy George.

Yeah, he does. Yeah. Oh, my gosh. So then Bose's daughter asked Bose and Keely if they would move in together. So they. She had made dinner for them and.

Bose was shitting her pants.

She was shitting her pants. But her daughter asked all the right questions.

She did. That child is. She's very well equipped for life. She has been raised well. Bo's did a good job. She's very Mature. She's more mature than most cast members. She could articulate and not be afraid to ask very kind of, like, scary to the answer questions. And she went for it.

Yep. Keely said that he would move to la, but he'd keep his house in San Diego. Bose is proud of her daughter since asking all the great questions. And why did he have to add.

It's a backup. Maybe he owns it, maybe you run it out. I don't know. They've been dating for eight months. They haven't said I love you, but they're already talking about babies in marriage. So I'm like, am I missing something or is this just. Some people just don't throw out the I love you.

But they. But they know they're in love and they know, like. And also, I know when you get older, things get sped up a little bit, but eight months is not really a long time to be planning marriages and babies. Be careful.

Careful. You know, there's. There's that lust haze. And he's a handsome man. He's so handsome. And I could see she's very into him. And she's got that, like, she's in the real, like, love phase. So. Again, seems like a very good guy.

Very good. He does. He. He's going along with the flow. He's showing up for camera. He's having these deep conversations with this with her daughter and with these hard subjects to talk about. I think he was a little thrown off by it. He doesn't have children of his own, so I don't know if he knows about kids too well, but that's a special one you got there. So you're a very lucky man and I hope this all comes to fruition. I'm all for it.

We put all this stuff together, finances and this. And I want security. I want the security of a wife. But you don't have to be, you know. Listen, Paul's a great guy, and I wouldn't mind being his wife. I would be, I'm sure, wonderful. But he just got divorced, like, a week ago. We're good.

So it's, like, cheap, and you could replace it and you get it buy new. Like, when I want to go waste my money, you know, what I did.

Notice is that I. You know, I really love how the Beverly Hills ladies get handlers when they get to the airport and it's somebody that removes their luggage and takes them off the. Jennifer Tilly, opening up her suitcase in her Good and Plenty, which is the grossest candy in the world, has spilled all over her luggage. And she's like, now what I'm gonna do at three in the morning when I want to eat my candy.

I know, but. Good.

And who wakes up and eats?

I know at 3 in the morning? Not me. I'm dead asleep. Dead asleep. But Jennifer says she's funny. Jennifer says she wants everyone to like her and open up about how the group feels cliquey. That must be a shitty feeling for Jennifer, because you have Kyle and Erica together. Dorit and Bose together. Sutton and Garcelle. She's on an island all by herself.

She is. And, you know, the girls can be clicky. People can be clicky. And, you know, I think Jennifer's very talented. She's. She has a lot. A lot to offer. And I don't like clicky people. I would never allow that I would bring them in because, you know, you just. I don't know. I was never about clickiness.

Yeah. So Sutton gets emotional, which we hardly ever see Sutton cry to Jennifer and Garcelle she says the only person who supports her is Garcelle. Garcelle, the millionaire.

Okay, so here's what I mean. Don't mean to interrupt, but I need to talk about what I'm saying, so. So Jennifer's clearly saying about how she spelled and to feel left out sucks. It really sucks. And then here's Sutton. The only one that sticks up for me is Garcelle. Stop. We're talking about Jennifer and how she feels. Did you even talk about how she.

Well, she kind of turns everything back to herself.

Did you say, I'm sorry. Did you say, let's change that? No, it goes right to you. Stop. Well, the thing that confuses me is.

But Sutton doesn't always stand up for Kyle, so why would she have blind loyalty to Sutton? It doesn't make any sense to me.

Because it's a. Because it's a selfish trick. It's. It looks to me selfish. You know, I don't know if anybody's ever stuck up for me ever. One day.

I talk to 24 hours later on a boat, they show. Dorit says, you can be the one who can give it, but you can't take it. Erica says you pose as a friend and oftentimes work as an enemy. Sutton says, this is not going to be Sutton on trial at sea. Sutton says, what do you effing want from me? So that's how the show ends. And that's a little preview for next week. I did ask my fans on social media what they thought. Some people said, I'm bored with the storyline. I'm not bored. I like it. Some people said, it was a filler episode. Sutton wants her cake and eat it, too. I might agree with that. Dorit needs to get proactive fast. If Kyle. If I were Kyle, I would not hug Mauricio.

It's okay for them to hug. It's okay because she needed that. That hug was for her, not him. You ever, like, go to, like, the person that. The guy that hurt you and you just want to hug? Like, even Sierra on Summer House, like, yeah, after she spoke to us, she's like, I just wanted a hug. It's a normal feeling. It doesn't mean you have no pride. Just do it if it makes you feel good. You have nothing to lose at this point.
