Two t's in a pod with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra. Hi, guys.
Teddi Mellencamp
Welcome to another episode of Two Teas in a Pod with myself, Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge.
Tamra Judge
Good morning, Teddy.
Teddi Mellencamp
Good morning, sunshine. You're in New York.
Tamra Judge
I'm in New York. What a night day we had yesterday. So we decided to fly out of San Diego and not deal with the LAX of it. All right. Because it's pretty smooth selling go to San Diego at that time. And we got there and we're like, yes, we get, get there just in time. We're gonna jump on the plane. Oh no. Delay, delay, delay. Oh, like it's raining here. Well, it's not at the moment, but there's been, you know, across the world there's been these horrible thunderstorms, these floods, and finally get on. I met a couple of really nice people, fans, next to the seat on the other aisle.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Tamra Judge
So had fun chatting with them. And then we have like 30 minutes before we land. And they're like, sorry, guys, we can't land. We have to circle for the next hour. No, we have enough gas or fuel or whatever they call it. And so we're like, okay, great, whatever. So I go back and sit in my seat. I was talking to my friends next to me and circle and circle. And they're like, update. If we can't land soon, we're going to run out of fuel. So we're going to have to land at a different airport. No, at this point, we're getting in at 11 o' clock at night now. So we ended up getting there, we were safe, it wasn't too bumpy, which is.
Teddi Mellencamp
Is great.
Tamra Judge
And got to the hotel and Eddie slept most of the the flight because he didn't sleep the night before because he wasn't feeling too great and got back and fell asleep at like 1 in the morning and got up at 10.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, you know what? That's what you get for trying to make things easier.
Tamra Judge
I know.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, I figure, you know, every time.
Tamra Judge
When it happens live. You usually go the night before and then you don't get in, and then you have to adjust to the three hours and, you know, you and I were in bed by 8 o'. Clock.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Tamra Judge
So I thought, well, let's go a day early instead of. We always like to extend it by one day instead of going the day, you know, extended the following day. Well, I think it's good. We're going to go to dinner with Margaret and Joseph tonight. Margaret and Joseph.
Teddi Mellencamp
Margaret and Joseph.
Tamra Judge
Margaret and Joe. Tomorrow or tonight? Tonight. So that's going to be fun.
Teddi Mellencamp
And then you have watch what happens live tomorrow.
Tamra Judge
I have press pretty much all day tomorrow. And then watch what happens live. And then we get on the plane and come right home the next morning.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, my gosh. Well, tell Andy I said hi.
Tamra Judge
I will, I will. I'm sure for some reason your name will be brought up. I'm sure.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, for some reason, I just had to recap Orange county, and I asked Erica. I go, can you do me a favor? Can you please call me your little teapot from now on? And she was like, no.
Tamra Judge
Is that what I called you?
Teddi Mellencamp
My little teapot?
Tamra Judge
I watched it a while ago, so I really need to rewatch it tonight to see because sometimes there's changes that are made and all that stuff.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Tamra Judge
So I'm gonna watch it tonight. Eddie hasn't seen it at all. I'm sure he's gonna be absolutely thrilled with my crush on you know who.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, I. I didn't even talk about that. I didn't even care. And I didn't even. I couldn't even picture the whole situation. I was too stuck on wearing a bikini to get married.
Tamra Judge
Oh, I. Well, any excuse. Just go check out her Instagram. Any excuse.
Teddi Mellencamp
I'm about to put on my kini now, right now. And I'm gonna go to immunotherapy in my kidney.
Tamra Judge
Oh, do you have immunotherapy today?
Teddi Mellencamp
I do, I do. Oh, my gosh. Well, speaking of travel, I guess we gotta get into the Valley. Season 2 episode 12 and 13 recap. It starts where everybody meets for dinner in Hawaii. Michelle claims that Jesse's only gotten worse since their divorce. Then Jesse asks Aaron to stay and talk. Aaron says he and Michelle never crossed a line while she was still married. But, like, why does Aaron always tells different?
Tamra Judge
You see his face? He's like. First of all, his eyes are huge. I don't know who has bigger eyeballs, him or Jody. Like, his. His face says it all. Like, no, no, we didn't cross any line. I mean, we had a few texts, and I invited her to try my honey.
Teddi Mellencamp
Like, no, nothing weird happened. I just invited her to come over and try my honey over at Runyon Canyon. And then we just always bumped into each other all the time.
Tamra Judge
Yeah. Just accidentally. We just bumped uglies and didn't even know why.
Teddi Mellencamp
We didn't even know what happened. And then we were both having orgasms. It was weird.
Tamra Judge
Yep. And then we slipped.
Teddi Mellencamp
We tripped and slipped right into each other.
Tamra Judge
Yeah, we tripped and slipped on the canyon hike. And what do you know? Now we're together two weeks after you and your husband split up.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh. But Jesse wanted to make it very clear that they were still sharing a bed.
Tamra Judge
Oh, yes. Yeah. I don't blame him. He'd be like, hey, he's.
Teddi Mellencamp
You know.
Tamra Judge
But it seems like Jesse is trying.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, I mean, he's not. I mean, he's trying more than he was before. I mean, I think you kind of. He kind of can't help himself that I think he's still in love with her.
Tamra Judge
Of course, it's a mother of his child. Even if he called her a prostitute.
Teddi Mellencamp
For those of you guys listening, the reason we're recapping two episodes is because last week was the holiday, so.
Tamra Judge
God, it was nice.
Teddi Mellencamp
It was nice, though.
Tamra Judge
And you were gone.
Teddi Mellencamp
But now we're back, and it's proposal day.
Tamra Judge
It's proposal day. Can I ask you a question?
Teddi Mellencamp
What?
Tamra Judge
Out of all the beautiful places in Hawaii, all of them handle it like dinner on the beach, Would you want to be proposed to on a fishing boat?
Teddi Mellencamp
No, but I don't want to be proposed to at all.
Tamra Judge
I mean, I'm like. Of all the things. It kind of reminds me of when Eddie proposed to me in Bora Bora, and I knew it was coming. I just knew it was coming. Right, because he had it planned way before we even started filming. It was already paid for, planned everything. And then production. Last minute, after we stopped filming, filming was over. Eddie's like, oh, production wants to go with us. And I'm like, oh, something's up, something's up, something's up. We had all these romantic dinners with Tiki, you know, torches all around us. I'm like, it's happening.
Teddi Mellencamp
It's.
Tamra Judge
It's in the drink. It's somewhere. No, he waits till I go snorkeling.
Teddi Mellencamp
No, he waited until you were wet face.
Tamra Judge
And producers are like, hey, would you like to put some makeup on? I'm like, no, you'll never show this.
Teddi Mellencamp
What about the fact that she had to be convinced into getting the shower? That would have been the giveaway. If my significant other was like, take a shower, take a shower, take a shower. Before we get on the boat, I've been like, my ass is getting proposed to. I need to get put on a full blown gown.
Tamra Judge
Right. Well, Eddie would have been just like Carol. Wear any makeup. Who cares?
Teddi Mellencamp
Who cares? This is about to be on the COVID of People magazine. But don't you worry. But you know, we get a lot of flashbacks of Luke's meltdown. They called it a meltdown. Not me. I was like, that's just me on a Thursday.
Tamra Judge
Your Chinese, like, what is he doing? Is that normal for guys to have full blown meltdown? If you're having a full blown meltdown, I would be a little afraid. Like, are you sure this is what you want to do, buddy?
Teddi Mellencamp
But if I was having to get married, if I was going to have to get proposed to with this group of people, these tight friends, I'd probably be having a meltdown too.
Tamra Judge
Well, I will say he is really seems like a very stand up guy. He seems sweet, very kind. Maybe he was just so nervous. Was he on? Was he on? He was on last year too, right?
Teddi Mellencamp
He was on last year too. But also remember he was like someone in his family was really sick at the time.
Tamra Judge
Yeah, well, he. Grandma, I didn't think he was one of those guys on the show. Like he's very much Eddie. Like he doesn't, he doesn't have little dick energy. He doesn't like, oh, look at me and this and that and you know, trying to be the center of attention. But then at the end of the second episode, I second guessed that with the outfit choice.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, me too. I did too. But Kristen and Luke, they go back to the room to try to be forced to shower. And then Nia is sending inspo pics.
Tamra Judge
That's. Do you think Kristen knew?
Teddi Mellencamp
I mean, she would have to be a very good actor if she knew.
Tamra Judge
Okay, well we'll get to the reason why I think she could have possibly known.
Teddi Mellencamp
Okay, well, I love Kirsten's commitment to not giving one single that cameras are on her, just letting her boobs hang out, talking about her pit stinking. No worries in the world.
Tamra Judge
Wait, who did that?
Teddi Mellencamp
Kristen. Oh, not a care in the world, Brittany. I'm like, I missed that Kristen.
Tamra Judge
You know, like what makes Kristen so good is she just doesn't give a shit. She is who she is. She doesn't care. She lets it hangs out, her boobs are flopping out, her hair is in a topknot. Like don't care.
Teddi Mellencamp
And she still looks pretty.
Tamra Judge
I would like to see more. She is. She's beautiful. I'd like to see more housewives be like that, including myself.
Teddi Mellencamp
You're like, hold on. Before I go to glam, before I have dinner tonight, I would like more people to just be a natural.
Tamra Judge
This is what it would be like. Chelsea, can you make my makeup look like I don't have makeup on so I look like I don't care?
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, I believe me, I do that often. But I didn't do it today. And I'm like bright red. I'm like, oh, whatever. I can't be dealing.
Tamra Judge
With summer in full swing. I feel the familiar urge to refresh my closet, but I'm trying not to waste money on pieces I only wear once or just one season.

Honestly, Honestly, Honestly. No one wants to think about hiv, but there are things that everyone can do to help prevent it. Things like prep. PREP stands for pre exposure prophylaxis and it means routinely taking prescription medications medicine before you're exposed to HIV to help reduce your chances of getting it. Danielle Fishel
So we both got the same delivery ding dong at our door the other day from Dietz and Watson. Did I not tell you immediately after that we were podcasting that I literally ripped into the packages and was eating the spicy cheese and the prosciutto and.
Tamra Judge
I was like oh that prosciutto. Give it to me.
Kevin McHale
I was so excited.
Danielle Fishel
So Dietz and Watson has been handcrafting premium meats and artisan cheeses for over 85 years. They're family owned and Operated.
Kevin McHale
And by that we mean their family is on the floor every day, ensuring everything goes above and beyond their quality. Above all else, standard.
Danielle Fishel
And even if it's slower or if it's inconvenient, it's the only way they know how to do it.
Kevin McHale
And they never cut corners. Ever. They do things the right way, even if it's the hard way.
Danielle Fishel
And they're transparent about what goes into their food and what doesn't.
Kevin McHale
They know good taste doesn't need a long list of ingredients.
Danielle Fishel
They stick to what matters, like using the fewest, highest quality ingredients to craft their meats and cheeses. Simply made. Simple as that.

So while all this is going down, we get a little flash to Jax in Los Angeles. Playing in the pool, tossing crews around. He was worried his son wouldn't remember him. Why did he wait eight days to see his son after he got the treatment?
Tamra Judge
He's so worried. I think at first I thought, is he not allowed to travel? Because Jax is not going to miss an opportunity, especially after being away for 30 days to be in the mix. Are we done with Hawaii, or do you think Jack's going to show up to Hawaii?
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, no, I mean, we have the next episode that we're going to talk about in Hawaii, and there's no Jacks there.
Tamra Judge
Oh, I thought for sure he would show up. For sure.
Teddi Mellencamp
I mean, I. If, if he thought he could bring Cruise and they could do it and he could pretend he was just randomly there on a vacation, I'm sure he'd be there.
Tamra Judge
Yeah, well, it was, like, weird that he was so worried that Cruz wouldn't remember him. But he was out for over a week, supposedly. That's how editing made it sound to even see his son.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, it gave me a jump scare when he flung him in the pool.
Tamra Judge
That little boy can swim.
Teddi Mellencamp
He can swim good. But you know those, like, you see him on YouTube where, like, they throw up the kids and then they, like, swim back over. I was like, holy.
Tamra Judge
You know when they, like, throw newborns in, they're like, oh, no, don't worry. Just, just wait. He'll figure it out. And he flips over. I'm like, holy shit.
Teddi Mellencamp
I know. I was like, dove, step up your game. Like, I don't think she could handle that kind of throwing Spencer to swimming.
Tamra Judge
Class lessons, like, at 4. And, you know, they do the little crab crawl around the pool. Yeah, at the top of his lungs. I don't want to do this.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, no. They have to.
Tamra Judge
Like, I should have thrown you in the pool when you were first born.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, my. You should have flung them in, flipped them over, and threw them all in.
Tamra Judge
They like that.
Teddi Mellencamp
I'm gonna start doing that to you whenever I see you. Just flip you into the pool and see what happens.
Tamra Judge
I'll do the crab walk. I don't like. I don't like.
Teddi Mellencamp
Then after we do that, we get Luke, Kristen, Danny, and Nia on the fishing boat, which at this point, if she can't tell with Nia's nervous energy on trying to get the perfect photo, I don't know how she could have missed it. They made her put glam on on the fishing boat. I know.
Tamra Judge
And were they trying to throw them off by not everybody being on the fishing boat? Like, why wasn't everybody there?
Teddi Mellencamp
Because everybody is fighting.
Tamra Judge
Why was it a fishing boat? I am so bugged that it's a fishing boat. Like, did they think, like, if. Oh, because they needed people to put together the room and all that while they're out on the fishing boat. Couldn't.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, then they would have had to just leave out Janet and a couple other people, and then I think that would have caused more drama before it got to the drama that they needed later on. Yeah, but. Back at the hotel, Zach and Benji move Kristen and Luke's things into the presidential suite. Zach realizes he has to tell Jesse about the proposal, since they'll all be sharing a suite. Jesse tries to get 5,000 flower petals to the room, but then they point out that he's allegedly broke.
Tamra Judge
Nowhere was there 5,000 petals on the bed. And how do you know 5,000 petals would be, like, the right number? He's going to be carrying 5,000 petals, and who's going to count them?
Teddi Mellencamp
Hold on. Last minute. Let me just pull off 5,000 petals. How long would that take?
Tamra Judge
5,000 days.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, they set this up. Zach is as nervous as his own wedding.
Tamra Judge
I know. I have really grown to like Zach.
Teddi Mellencamp
I know.
Tamra Judge
I feel like he fits in. He's funny. He's. He's very smart, too. His one liners are pretty good.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, I like his one liners in real life. His one liners and confessionals feel a little rehearsed to me.
Tamra Judge
Well, sometimes we got to rehearse them, Teddy.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, I know, but sometimes I don't want to see it.
Tamra Judge
Okay.
Teddi Mellencamp
Sometimes I want it to just feel natural.
Tamra Judge
Some girls get fed to them in the confessionals.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, that's true. That's true. This is a true story. But then we see that Britney's all excited, but she's a little bit salty that she's not going to be there for it. I don't know that I would be salty.
Tamra Judge
Brittany bugged me this episode. I know.
Teddi Mellencamp
I think she bugged me more the next episode once I find out what she did after this. But when she threatens to. So they. They get back, they all put on their. Their matching shirts. Janet's not there because Janet calls and says that she thinks it's best that she doesn't attend. However, then she tries to say to her husband. She tries to gaslight her own husband and say, since we were disinvited, and he's like, no, we weren't.
Tamra Judge
I know her.
Teddi Mellencamp
Invited yourself.
Tamra Judge
No, sweetie, that's not what happened. We weren't invited. Janet being so upset won't go. Like, Janet, I'm rooting for you. I've had multiple conversations with you over dm, and you know I have compassion. And I know that she's going through a lot with the way social media is treating her, which I'm totally 100% against. But you're not helping yourself, sweetie. You're not helping yourself. Like, you could have just went and put a smile on. You didn't have to wear the shirt.
Teddi Mellencamp
But you know what?
Tamra Judge
If you did, it was like an olive branch and just show up with.
Teddi Mellencamp
Like a drink or some flowers and just say congratulations and then leave.
Tamra Judge
But I feel like she was making it about herself a little bit. And I understand there's bad blood. Would I want to go to a certain cast member's proposal? Well, the went to my wedding, so maybe I would. Maybe.
Teddi Mellencamp
But then Brittany made it worse because then Britney said that she was gonna leave if Nia and Danny didn't get there soon. Why are they also jealous of Danny and Nia?
Tamra Judge
I don't know. I really.
Teddi Mellencamp
I personally think Neo was just taking longer to get ready. She is a beauty queen.
Tamra Judge
She is a beautiful girl. Absolutely beautiful. What I also didn't like is not only did she say, we're not going to this dinner, but we're. We're not go. We're not going to hang out with them tomorrow either.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, I know.
Tamra Judge
Then she's, like, doubled down on it, and I'm like, come on, now you're just being petty about it, Janet. Yeah, girl.
Teddi Mellencamp
And then she's threatening to leave the island. And then like, Kristen. Kristen does look very happy when they come in and she sees all the shirts and she's Happy. We get to see a moment of happiness.
Tamra Judge
That would have been a great, like, icebreaker. You know, they showed up. Like, the one thing about being on reality tv, like, it's about conflict and resolution. Like, okay, we have the same conflict. If she would just shown up with the shirt on and be like, we are so happy for you. Everybody deserves happiness. Even though I hate you. You know what I mean? And then it would have been like, okay, we can move forward.
Teddi Mellencamp
Janet, I don't think is doing any of this for personal reasons. I think she's doing all of this because she just wants to create drama. Okay.
Tamra Judge
I wonder because, you know, I'm first one to admit that I get blamed for doing a lot of things on the show, you know, oh, what an. And I have. I have done things just for the drama. Point of it, just to kind of move storyline. I'm not doing more. Well, not right now because I'm not filming. But you know what? When you are the villain on the show, you know, sometimes you do things and you get used to doing things to. To make good tv and doesn't always land well.
Teddi Mellencamp
I think the hard part I have with Janet is she doesn't really seem fun or funny ever to me.
Tamra Judge
Yeah, she needs more balance. And. Yeah, I don't know if that is editing. I don't know, because I know there's been times where I've been funny and outgoing and, you know, had cute moments with people, but all they showed was.
Teddi Mellencamp
You know, me gnarly parts.
Tamra Judge
Yeah. Me just lighting people up like last year. Last year was like that.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. Well, they. They kind of finish up this little engagement dinner where they're. They. At this moment, everybody's kind of keeping it together. Other than Brittany threatening to leave, which I thought was a diva moment. But then everyone else is having champagne. Brittany's just having straight alcohol.
Tamra Judge
I am concerned about her.
Teddi Mellencamp
I'm concerned with what happens in the next episode. So make sure you guys keep listening, because in a second we'll start the recap for episode 13 of the Valley.
Tamra Judge
You know what's not very fun? Having a million things to do. Work, kids, errands. And then somebody gets sick. Suddenly you're juggling phone calls, appointments, driving across town, picking up meds, and it's like, wait, did I just become a personal assistant?
Teddi Mellencamp
Trying to manage healthcare these days feels like a full time job on top of your actual full time job. And parenting, it's hard to juggle it all.
Tamra Judge
That's why Amazon One Medical is kind of genius. They've made it so much easier to see provider often way faster and you can do it virtually 247 literally from your phone, sitting in your car at the office, even during your kids practice. It's so much simpler. No weird scheduling games, no press 3 if you'd like to hold forever. You just get care when you need it.
Teddi Mellencamp

Honestly, honestly, Honestly, no one wants to think about hiv, but there are things that everyone can do to help prevent it. Things like prep. Prep stands for Pre Exposure Prophylaxis and it means routinely taking prescription medicine before you're exposed to HIV to help reduce your chances of getting it. We are here to talk about episode 13 of the Valley. After a preview of the boat ride from hell, everyone meets downstairs for the private engagement dinner. Michelle and Brittany think it's rude that Janet wasn't invited. Danny and Nia show up late. Danny's upset that people are talking badly about him. When did Danny show up and was he tipsy?
Tamra Judge
I don't recall, honestly, because she's always.
Teddi Mellencamp
Telling him what he needs to say and what he needs to do. But I guess that's being a a wife and a husband.
Tamra Judge
That's when you're like My husband can sometimes be a dick, so I'm gonna go ahead and tell him. They were insinuating that Danny was napping because he was drunk. You know what? Show me Danny drunk. Because I'm tired of hearing about Danny being drunk but not actually seeing it. And it should be a rule. If it's not happening on social media or if there's no news outlet catching him doing it, it's kind of like, yeah, everybody on the damn show is drunk. Every time Brittany shows pops into a room, she's like, shots, shots, shots. You know? So I just.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, Brittany, you were in the room when Janet decided not to go to dinner, so why are you acting surprised that she's not going and trying to pretend that she was not invited? But then the next morning. Oh, this is where it gets bad. So then the night ends. Everybody seems. Thankfully, Kristen knows that it's time for her to go back to her room. There's, like, some awkward moments because there's, like, 25 people crammed into the couch room. Either way, the next morning, they get up. The one thing that Kristin said I would say at least five times was, please do not tell anyone.
Tamra Judge
I know, I know. Well, I think Britney was drunk. I think that, you know, every time we see her, she's kind of have a drink in her hand. I'm not. Not putting her down, but I think that she probably had too much to drink, and she went back and she was talking to Jax, which is weird because all she does is put him down and wants nothing do with him. But now all of a sudden, Jax knows, and Britney's like, oh, I just had to talk to him about Cruz. I'm like, no, you didn't.
Teddi Mellencamp
In the middle of the night when you.
Tamra Judge
I'm pretty sure you would have text him about it. Like, you. The way it doesn't add up, the way she talks about him, the way she doesn't want anything to do with him. You know, all the things she says. And then she. Oh, I accidentally.
Teddi Mellencamp
Like, I would appreciate it more if she just said, like. Because she says it a little bit. She's like, he was my person for a long time, so, you know, I still talk to him. But I would appreciate if sometime in the scenes when she's talking about Jax, she's like, guys, I just can't get over him. Because then at least it would all kind of make sense.
Tamra Judge
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
Do you think that Brittany told Jax because she was pissed about not getting invited on the. On the boat? Or do you think she told Jax because she just. They're that much in communication.
Tamra Judge
I don't know. Because her actions don't match her words. And if she's really talking to him like this, I'm going to be like saying totally different. I think that we'll find out at the reunion.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, I think we'll find out too because it's now it's starting to get a little rough. Then Kristen and Brittany sit down to talk. Brittany feels horrible about spilling the news to Jax. Kristen takes it pretty well because like none of her family knew she and like I could see why Kristen would be upset. She's. She told everybody. None of our family knows. We want to share this with our people. And then you tell freaking Jackson. We watch him tell Frickin Schwartz.
Tamra Judge
It's just so nasty to do that. It's like going to a wedding and taking pictures of the bride and putting it on social media before the bride or groom posts anything like just, just.
Teddi Mellencamp
Let her enjoy her 9am White Claw in bed in peace.
Tamra Judge
Oh God. A little confused with when. When he did propose to her. Not once did she look at the ring. Not one time did she was more.
Teddi Mellencamp
Excited about the dolphins.
Tamra Judge
She was like what dolphins? Oh, oh, it's a whale. What is that? And he's like over here babe. Here turn the. Will you marry me? Not one time did she look at that ring.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, either she's seen the ring or she. She says she doesn't like all that like personalized attention. And there are people like that that.
Tamra Judge
When see what it is at least you want to be like. I mean the first thing get the ring and you know it's. And just go oh my God. And then do your thing. Should not do that at all. So that made me believe. Hmm. Maybe she's really not give a shit about materialistic things. Or did she already see the ring and she knew this was coming?
Teddi Mellencamp
Maybe she picked the ring. I mean they got it from the same guy that everybody else from the Valley and Vanderpump Rules gets the rings from.
Tamra Judge
Yeah, maybe that's it.
Teddi Mellencamp
Maybe it was already on social medias.
Tamra Judge
I don't know. It just. It just felt odd to me. I mean it's a beautiful ring and I. You would at least glance at it.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. But then they get down to talk about all this stuff that happened at El Coyote and wishes Britney had stood up for her more. Kristen says that Janet started out as a fan of Vanderpump Rules and they met her through Sheena. What are your thoughts on when they start calling Cast members, fans, because they started out as not really knowing the group of people.
Tamra Judge
Here's the thing. Bravo shows are so big at this point. There's not many people that don't watch, so there is a lot of fans. But it depends on what level. If you're that fan that tries so hard to do whatever to get in and you're going to their bars and you're trying to befriend them and all that, you're a super fan. Yeah, you're a super fan. And those are the ones that usually don't work out.
Teddi Mellencamp
And that's what makes sense for Janet. But before this, everyone, including Janet and Jason at this time, are deciding they're going to have a boat day to end the trip. This is where things get a little stressful. Luke is in a tiny sailor outfit that's accentuating his moose knuckle, which. The fact.
Tamra Judge
Why?
Teddi Mellencamp
Explain to me why I cannot explain certain things. Tamara.
Tamra Judge
At first I thought it was Aaron. I get those two confused sometimes and I see them in a distance.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, my gosh. I. Aaron is a lot for me to handle. But know what? We never hear peep from Benji.
Tamra Judge
No, Sweet Benji.
Teddi Mellencamp
Sweet Benji. We haven't heard a peep from you. But I. I need to know who was behind the camera, like, filming the moose knuckle because it was a close up.
Tamra Judge
I don't know. I don't know who their crew members are. But I have a question. Does ever blink?
Teddi Mellencamp
Never once. Never once.
Tamra Judge
I have.
Teddi Mellencamp
Michelle's really into him. She always is telling us how hot he is.
Tamra Judge
They're so in love and I'm happy for them. I'm very happy. I just want to know if he blinks.
Teddi Mellencamp
I want to know if he knows that having his eyes open that wide makes it seem like he's lying.
Tamra Judge
I don't know. I mean, obviously it's just him. It's like Jody.
Teddi Mellencamp
He has big eyes too, but Jody doesn't always. Jody, like, is if his eyes, like, catch something or he's looking at something.
Tamra Judge
Like, like startled like. Or mad. His eyes get big.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. But then they get into talking about how upset they are that, you know, they brought around the girl that was with Aaron and da, da, da, da, da.
Tamra Judge
And then they were strategic and I think that that is like, hey, producers, I have a friend that used to date them. Bring her on.
Teddi Mellencamp
Bring her on.
Tamra Judge
I think it fell flat. I don't think it really made that big of an impact having her on the show.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. And it's not like they Just brought her in. She was on Vanderpump Rules as well.
Tamra Judge
Oh, I didn't know that.
Teddi Mellencamp
In the background. Like, she's always around. She's the friend she invites.
Tamra Judge
Oh, okay. Well, then that makes total sense. Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
And once again, it was Janet being the one to bring it up, bring up who she was.
Tamra Judge
Oh, really? But then, yeah, Kristen in a flashback, going something like, oh, Aaron, I know a girl that you. That you know. You know Jenna. And he's like. So I thought that she was behind it.
Teddi Mellencamp
No, I. I mean, I think she might have been behind bringing her around because it's one of her best friends. But I think in this instant, it was Janet who really pushed it home. But then they're talking. Michelle and J.
Tamra Judge
Guys love her hater. She. She. She's pushing things. And if it wasn't for her, would the show be that more? Would it be exciting?
Teddi Mellencamp
I don't know. It started to feel to me like it wasn't even a. Like she's not even part of the friendship. Like she hates everybody.
Tamra Judge
I just. Janet, we just need to see you laugh and smile and engage a little.
Teddi Mellencamp
Bit more or even just do that with your husband.
Tamra Judge
Yeah, she's got a great husband.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, we like him. But Michelle and Janet are talking on the boat. Michelle's sick of hearing about Janet and seeing her constantly when she says she never did before. And she says Zach implied that Sheena and Janet were the ones that actually bringing Jenna's name and bringing it up as a thing. Janet calls Zach over to talk to them, and you know what? He's smart. He brings Kristin.
Tamra Judge
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
Like, I'm not going over there without Kristen.
Tamra Judge
But what about Zach? He's all. All roads lead back to Janet and Shayna.
Teddi Mellencamp
I know, but then they did a flashback, and it seems like all roads do lead back to them.
Tamra Judge
I know it does.
Teddi Mellencamp
But then I'm like, sheena, next year, I bet she's going to have a lot more airtime.
Tamra Judge
Sheena.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. I feel like they're gonna just coast, coax her back in. I think we're gonna start saying, I.
Tamra Judge
Had a talk with Sheena in New York when I was here for the upfronts, and I really do love her. And I'm like, you should be on Orange County. We would love for you to be in Orange County. And she's like, I'd move to OC for that.
Teddi Mellencamp
Of course she would.
Tamra Judge
I think that she would fit in. I need you to move to Orange county first.
Teddi Mellencamp
I can't. I even have boundaries.
Tamra Judge
What the Teddy, Am I not important to you? Am I not important in your life that you would.
Teddi Mellencamp
You are important to me, but I'm not gonna do a false move to Orange county to go fight with.
Tamra Judge
Hey, by the way, Heather lives in la.
Teddi Mellencamp
So listen, I'll take Heather's place in la.
Tamra Judge
You just get in the car with her.
Teddi Mellencamp
We'll just come together.
Tamra Judge
I tell it over to Orange county every time.
Teddi Mellencamp
But then Janet once again brings up that Danny sexually assaulted. Assaulted Jasmine. And Kristen loses it, which in my opinion is. The problem is Janet does not care if Dany sexually assaulted somebody, in my opinion. She just wants to weaponize it against him and Nia. Because the only people that could really talk about this in this moment are not talking about it.
Tamra Judge
I think this is wrong.
Teddi Mellencamp
So essentially what Jasmine and her girlfriend are saying, which I agree with, is, listen, we already handled this. We had this conversation with Danny and Nia and we're done talking about it. And now you, Janet, are the only one talking about it, which is what is causing the problem.
Tamra Judge
Next level. Also, to, to accuse somebody of sexual assault is. It's slander. It's absolute slander. And it's very wrong of Janet to do that. But then she doubles down in her confessional, even says something worse. I can't even remember. I can't remember what it was. Was it molested or something? She's word molested or something.
Teddi Mellencamp
I can't remember her saying that, but I do remember them like doubling down and saying like how he likes to see girls and short skirts and fans and. But it just, it keeps going on and on and on. And I'm like, but you're not the one affected by this. Let this be from Jasmine and her girlfriend. If this, if this is going to continue on. I mean, Janet just doesn't know anybody. Janet is just.
Tamra Judge
And is an attorney. He's got to. I don't know what kind of attorney he is, but you can't just go on national TV or in an interview and say he sexually assaults and then get in your interview and say what you want me to say, Molest or something like that.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, yeah, that is what she said.
Tamra Judge
Yeah. And it's like, what are you doing? You can't. I mean. Or groped. Should I say molested or groped? How about don't say anything at all. Didn't happen to you and you weren't there. Weren't there? So, I mean, it was a. She went really, really low. Can't even protect her on this. Can't blame this on editing. Can't blame it on anybody but Janet.
Teddi Mellencamp
And then she was on social media yesterday doing something which I thought she was going to maybe make an apology, but instead it was just to talk about how she didn't flee the United States to go on a trip that she had planned the trip in advance. And then if we want to hear more, we can tune into her podcast.
Tamra Judge
Is it a patreon? You can pay me to. You know, it's. She's not self aware at all. I'm really shocked that her husband, being an attorney, wouldn't have said, like, you go out there and say that. I knew instantly when I was on Watch what Happens Live last year that I misspoke. I didn't. I was trying to say this joke and it didn't come out right. And I knew instantly got on my social media. I'm like, I apologize. That's not what I meant. I was trying to say this, you know, and I still got served with a. With a legal letter. This is not going to end well.
Teddi Mellencamp
And especially the timing, the location, like, none of it makes any sense. Why, like, you threatened multiple times that you weren't coming, so you decided to come and do this? No, Come and just be likable for this one time being. But then once they docked, Kristen storms off the boat. She screams out that she wants to kick Janet off the boat. Luckily, they're apparently close to land. They get off, and then Janet claims there's a reason. It's crazy Kristen and not crazy Janet. And that's how it ends.
Tamra Judge
Well, did you think at any moment that Kristen overreacted on the boat, or do you think it was warranted?
Teddi Mellencamp
No, I think it was warranted. I think she was really frustrated, a.
Tamra Judge
Little revved up, and I'm like, okay, wait a minute. And then when I saw the confessional where she's like, you know, talks about molesting or groping and all that, I'm like, okay, no, no.
Teddi Mellencamp
But also, she. She's very good friends with Danny and Nia, and she knows the entire story. And she's like, listen, let the people involved tell the story. This isn't your story, Janet. And for Janet, you keep claiming that people are trying to set you up for things, but yet that's what you've done. The duration of everything that we've seen. How many episodes are we on? 13 episodes.
Tamra Judge
How many more episodes are there to go?
Teddi Mellencamp
I don't know, because it didn't seem like we're ending anytime we're not ending soon.
Tamra Judge
But I felt like Janet only has one. One possibility to stay in this group and stay on this show, and that is to put her tail between her legs and apologize in the next few episodes and say, you know, I don't know. I don't know why she said it. I don't know if she truly believe it. I don't know if she was drinking. I don't know if she was trying to make good tv. I don't know what her excuse. But there's no excuse to accuse somebody of molesting or, you know, sexually assaulting somebody, especially when it's not yourself. And I would love to hear more of Jasmine speak up and say, well, here's.
Teddi Mellencamp
Here's what I think is going to happen. Because I saw a little bit of the after show with Jasmine. Jasmine had repeatedly said, we're done talking about this. We already handled it. And then it was a little bit different phrasing on the after show. So I think this is going to continue to get very messy. And I think, like, it's really hard to watch. It's just. It's a lot. And you really kind of wonder. I'm like. Because I think that in person, Janet probably is pretty funny and good, you know, that's why they brought her into the group. I just wish you would stop trying so hard to.
Tamra Judge
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
Cause drama.
Tamra Judge
People are just not made for tv.
Teddi Mellencamp
But if you're that big of a fan and you've watched the show that much, you could be a little bit better.
Tamra Judge
But no, I don't think. I don't agree with that, Teddy, because I feel like if you're a fan, you go in with these preconceived notions that you have to do this and you have to do that and you. You're going to do this and you're. You want to stand out. And sometimes, like, whenever I've done that on the show or I've tried to, you know, play things out and make it bigger than it is, I've done it. I'll admit it. I've made mistakes. You know who comes out looking like the asshole?
Teddi Mellencamp
You.
Kevin McHale
Me.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. No, it's true. It's true. But.
Tamra Judge
And shoes. And you have to be smart about it. Like. Yes. If you're going to move storyline, you have to be good about it. You can't just be throwing things out there and accusations, all that. Like, you can't. Doesn't work.
Teddi Mellencamp
No. And then you can't afterwards be upset that people are upset at you. Yeah. Because people are Watching the show. I mean, never do I think anybody should be getting tons of online hate. It's unnecessary, I think, you know, very just. It's, it's. It kind of messes with the flow of people learning lessons because then they're so busy fighting back with the people coming for them that aren't on the show. I'd rather see those things happen on the show.
Tamra Judge
I've talked to people that know Janet and say, oh, my God, she's not like that in real life. She's so sweet and, you know, and all this stuff and she doesn't deserve this hate. I think my advice to her is show that side of yourself, Janet. Don't feel like you have to make good tv. Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
Or take a break from trying to make good tv because it's, to be honest, not good tv.
Tamra Judge
Yeah. If she comes back, I don't think she'll ever be like this again.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, we only have. Well, we'll see. Some people can't stop, but she's. We've got two episodes left. And then we've got the reunion. I am liking the season. I think it's a good show to watch. I just think this episode was a little too intense.
Tamra Judge
Well, it's doing amazing. From what I hear, Alex posted something on social media saying the numbers are outrageous. I think that's like over 3 million.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, that's huge.
Tamra Judge
Yeah, that's big. So congratulations, guys. You're doing it.
Teddi Mellencamp
Congratulations, Valley. We need to get some of the other people into the mix now, though, because I'm done with Janet. I'm done with just hearing from the Janster.
Tamra Judge
You want the OGs to come back? I mean, we get a little bit of Tom Schwartz. We didn't talk about it, but Jax did have like a little scene with.
Teddi Mellencamp
Tom, and I think we're gonna see Tom just like pop in here and there because remember, he lives next to Jax.
Tamra Judge
Yeah, but.
Teddi Mellencamp
But he looks hot.
Tamra Judge
He looks good. He looks amazing. But did you see Jax is like, hey, by the way, Kristen's engaged. And then he's like, oh, I'll congratulate. He's like, no, no, I'm not supposed to say anything.
Teddi Mellencamp
No, no, no, no. Like, at least he had the wherewithal to tell that. I'm surprised because he almost let him text her.
Tamra Judge
I know. And then he's like in his confessional, he's like, well, there's one thing I'll never change. I'll always have a big mouth, self aware about something.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, he's proud of it.
Tamra Judge
Well, some people have a hard time keeping it in.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. I mean, I may be one of those people, but not when it comes to wedding.
Tamra Judge
We're both those peoples, Teddy.
Teddi Mellencamp
We're those peoples. But I love you, Tam. And I'll miss you. Tomorrow I'll be recapping Miami, but I'm sad that you're not going to be here. But you're going to be doing all of the best things in New York.
Tamra Judge
It's so good. Miami. I haven't word. You're doing two episodes, right? I've only seen the first one.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Tamra Judge
Where Stephanie comes in and I am obsessed with her.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh my gosh, I can't wait to see her.
Tamra Judge
Guys, not watching Miami. You need to watch Miami. I saw their numbers are pretty low. Like watch Miami.
Teddi Mellencamp
I know. I can't. Like, it's giving me something to look forward to during immunotherapy today. I'm like, Oooh, I have two episodes of Miami. Yeah. So I'm gonna get to watching that and I'll recap that with Dolores. Talk to you guys later.
