Holy moly. I did not see this one coming.

I didn't see it coming either. So this is from NBC News. Real Housewives of Potomac star Wendy Aceffo and her husband arrested for fraud charges. They were arrested Thursday in Maryland after being indicted by a grand jury for allegedly falsely reporting a home burglary and theft. Wendy faces 16 charges related to making false fraud and making false statements to an officer. Her husband faces 18 charges for the same crimes. Deputies were called to the couple's home on April 7, 2024 for a report a burglary and theft. They allegedly told deputies that they had just returned from vacation to find their home had been burglarized. The couple said that jewelry, luxury goods, clothing and shoes totaling more than $200,000 were stolen during an investigation. The sheriff's office said the detectives found that Wendy and her husband had returned roughly 20,000 alleged stolen items to the stores where they purchased them. Detectives also found images of one of them wearing.

Detectives also found images of one of them wearing the jewelry that they had been reported stolen after the burglary took place. According to documents Eddie emailed asking if they could add high value items like Chanel.

He's an attorney. Why would he do that?

I don't know. Life insurance policy maximum $423,000. That email became a key piece of evidence showing to inflate the claim.

That's probably why he is he has 18 counts and she's got 16.

Yeah, that's the guessing, but.

Oh, my God. So somebody slid. Her neighbor slid into my dm.

She did what she say?

Basically that they all got notices on their front door or in their mailbox that there had been a burglary. And it was at the, you know, Wendy and Eddie's house. And instantly the whole entire neighborhood was thinking this is insurance fraud.

Really?

That's what she said. Because we all were saying, no way, no way, no way. Because I get. I don't know if the area where they're at is not known for burglaries, but she is on tv. So that's a different level. But they all thought something was kind of shady about it.

Something was fishy.

Like Stacy's breath.

Say that Andy commented on it this morning. He said he out about it just like everybody else did Friday morning. And he saddened by the news and just can't believe it.

There's a lot of people that have come out. Somebody else that worked with her came out and did a tick tock or something saying she was horrible to work with. This is before she got on Housewives. I mean, it's not good. Mia came out and made a statement as well. What is over? What's going on over there in Potomac?

I don't understand. And then Bravo pulls Wendy's Wife Swap episode and response. Following the news of the arrest, Bravo pushed the series premiere of Wife Swap, the Real Housewives edition to October 21st. It was scheduled for October 14th. When it premieres on October 21st. Wivestop will feature Angie K. Instead of the SEOs where episode has been delayed. I mean, could you imagine how you feel as the person in the Wife Swap episode that.

Well, I'm thinking, yeah, the other family that's like, yes, I'm on tv. It's coming out. No, it's not. Just so unexpected, you know. And then I've always thought to myself, you know, somebody that's always bragging about money and bragging about their degrees and stuff like that. It's always like a. A little bit of a red flag for me. I like Wendy. I met Wendy. I'm just like everybody else and just like all people. Of all people on that cast. I just. I don't see anybody else on that cast doing something like that. But I mean, out of all Housewives.

I mean, I guess she's innocent until proven guilty. But still.

Yeah, definitely. But it's not looking good.

You know, people are trying to keep up with the Joneses all the time and show that they have this lifestyle when maybe.

Yeah, and I always hold that because I, I feel weird because I don't do that. I do not. I, I want my money in the bank. I don't want to be flashy. I want to invest. I want to buy houses. And there's like these. I don't know if it's a pressure to feel like you've got the biggest house and you're dripped in designer clothes.

But ultimately it doesn't matter, especially when.

You'Re going to go to jail.

[A]

Yeah. I mean, the fact that they were both arrested on the same day, it.

[B]

Looked like it happened in the middle of the night or something.

Really?

Well, just their, their pictures, they're just, you know, they look like they got pulled out of bed and arrested.

I don't know how they got arrested. I don't know if they came to their house. They had to turn themselves in. How long have they known about this? I never heard the original burglary chart.

Like, I remember it happening. I remember it happening. And it was like they were on vacation or something like that. And that's apparently when the burglary supposedly happened, but that's all I kind of know.

And then do you think it's the right thing for them to pull her episode of Wife Swap?

Yes. Yeah, I think so. I think until they get the information, it's better to just, you know, it's got to be put on ice a little bit.

Premiere is Wednesday, November 9th. In Southern Charm season 11 trailer, Craig is moving on from has split from Paige to Sorbo with similar faces. I'm having fun being able to kiss somebody if I want to guilt free, he says in the trailer before the camera turns to Sally Carson and new cast member Charlie Manley. Madison Lacori confirms That Craig is in a love triangle with his castmates. Yes.

Well, then the next one is Teresa Giudice revealed on I Do Part two that she reached out to Joe and Melissa. So she said she's not speaking to them, but did reach out. She says time heals all wounds. She wants to be a good example for her daughters and she tells them to put family first so she has to practice what she preaches.

I know the timing seems slightly convenient. Yeah.

And she's just. And I mean, of course, yes, I did start a cannabis line. But it wasn't at the reunion.

Does she think it's because it's just convenient or this is another TJ or JT or whatever the hell his name is? Because they're filming again. She needs a man.

I mean, and if that is the case, would her ex husband really do that?

Right. And wouldn't Wendy be happy for her that, you know, she's trying to get.

And when she got home, she told me about how the carpet stuff got spilled on the carpet. But she also told me that the woman put a basketball court in her kitchen. It's still there. Did you notice a basketball hoop on the kitchen door?

He's stuck in ways. K had an event a few days ago, and they flashback to angel defending Wendy. And then Kiana tells Giselle she has to chin check Angel.

Okay, this is where it got confusing to me.

I'm like, what are they talking about? And there was. They were talking over each other and chin check. Chin check. Chin check. I don't look up. Chin check. Chin check usually means testing someone's toughness, confidence, or readiness. It means calling someone out or testing their courage without actually. Without actual violence. Example, she tried to chin check me at that meeting, but I stood my ground.

Yeah. So essentially, I mean, I do like, angel was trying to give her honest opinion to Kiarana on camera this quick this season. But, like, Kiarna Then I guess Chin checked in quotes.

Yeah. Angel gets upset. And then Kiara admits she did say it because she had to assess the situation. But at first, Kiara says she didn't say it.

You just like have a dinner and then you invite less girls.

Yeah. I'm like, okay. And between that and it being like bar mitzvah season, or as Slate says, mitzvahs. Mitzvahs. Because there's bar and baths and so there's so many. Like, every weekend is jam packed. There's all these different dresses, there's all these different things. And it is like Slate social calendar could push anybody over the edge.

We had a party at the house. It was just a drop off party. They were swimming. There was like, you know, like hanging. Hanging out there making.

Yeah. But her Big, you know, her big gift was that she got to go back to nationals this past, you know, a couple weeks ago. So she.

No, there's two boys that like, come to everything, but one couldn't come, but. So the other one was just like, well, whatever. I come to all of them anyway.

Yeah, it's. It was a non stop weekend, so I'm definitely a little bit sleepy today, but trying to get it together and.

I must have had $15,000 with the dresses. I know in other franchises they pay that for one dress, but I don't do that.

During the day, I'm wearing like cute jeans and like, I have one like a cute sweater. I also have. I. I have options for everything. But what are you gonna wear on our panel?

I have like a suit skirt. Like that's like, cute. It's brown and then it's long sleeve but like kind of oversized. The. The suit coat and it's really cute. Maybe wear something.

Well, I did buy a suit. It's kind of a suit, but it's like a new twist on a suit. It's kind of corset and then like. But it's just like a suit.
