Hey guys. Welcome to another episode of two T's in a Pod with myself and Dolores. Good morning. It feels like a Monday morning to me. If ever there is a Monday morning. I am so tired. I am so tired. What a weekend I had. You know, I don't like to leave my house very.

No, we are.

No. Two nights in a row really pushed me over the edge. I got a last minute invite to go to dinner with Vicki and Katie and yeah, so it was right over here at the Coto Club. So. So I said, okay, let's go. So was the husband and everything. We went and had relatively early dinner. But I tell you, if I have more than a glass of wine, it.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Just affects shot for like it's not worth it. Is it even worth it?

[Tamara Judge]

I couldn't sleep. You know, you wake up, you're sweating. Next morning I have a headache. It's like really, really considering. Just never sounds like fun.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Yeah, sounds like a lot of fun.

[Tamara Judge]

And then the next morning, Sunday morning yesterday, I had to get up early and Vicki and I did the TMZ bus, the brunch bus, which was so cute.

You guys did a great job.

It was a lot of fun. So we, we met right across, well, right where the Beverly center is. So we, we met there. Everybody was already on the bus. We get on, there's a DJ in there and we make three stops. So we made three stops. We ended at the Abbey. Just had a really good time. It was fun. It was a lot of fun. And then went to dinner at Craig's and we had our Santa outfits on. I looked at FA go, you look like an idiot. And I'm like, I'm dressed the same way. Yeah, I look like an idiot as well. So yeah, it was fun.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

The guy, she's fun when she's fun.

[Tamara Judge]

Yes, yes. And Eddie really likes Michael, her boyfriend. He is just a stand up guy. Very nice. I'm curious to see how he's going to deal with filming this season because he's much like Eddie, where Eddie's like all behind the camera and Mike says, and I'll be behind Eddie. It's going to be interesting to see he. Yeah. So what'd you do this weekend?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

So it snowed. I mean, like crazy. Yeah, you probably can't see it because I'm all blurred, but yeah. Yeah, I. It snowed, so I had so many plans to go see my poor mom. I have not seen her and all. I wake up to, like, a snowstorm. So I'm like, I might as well just catch up on all my things. My 19 cameos that I had to do. 19 because I pressed the button that said for them to go on sale.

Oh, I've done that before. I mean, sometimes I do it on purpose.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

You're not the only person has done it on accident.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah, yeah, but that's good, too.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

So I had my 19 cameos, and, you know, they stress me out because I want them to be so personal and they mean a lot to me because I don't think mean a lot to the person.

[Tamara Judge]

It's so funny because I'll let them get stacked up sometimes and it's like, oh, I gotta do the cameos. And you. You act like it's so much work. It's literally like one minute of your life and it's done and over with. I think the biggest thing is, is, oh, I look like shit. 90% of the time. I'm in sweats and no makeup. It's like, is this how I want the cameo? Why not?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I don't care about looking like shit. I care about, like, being so personal. And then, you know, I met a girl last week, and I was almost embarrassed because she's like, I got a cameo when I had my son, and it went on forever. Dolores. We were laughing so hard, and I'm like, oh, my God, I feel like an asshole.

[Tamara Judge]

You ever got any weird, weird cameos?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Yeah. She's like, yeah. So you were like, yeah, And I love my Frankie because I had just had a boy, and you were like, all this stuff, and it was, like, really long. But, like, I loved it. I loved it. And I was like, oh, God, thanks for telling me that.

[Tamara Judge]

Have you ever gotten these weird requests from cameo that you're like, no, I'm not doing that.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I'm. Nothing was funnier than when Teresa was actually reading the cameo about a girl that had chlamydia, but she thought it was serious. And she's like, oh, that was hilarious. But she was, like, being so nice about it.

[Tamara Judge]

I know.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Like, so serious.

[Tamara Judge]

And I would have been like, sorry, I'm not doing that.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

No. And she was so. See, that was the innocent, but that, like, the innocence about her that we love. Like, she's like, so get yourself good. But she means it. And it was hysterical. I watch it sometimes just, yeah, cameos.

[Tamara Judge]

Where people are like, talk to me like, you're my best friend. And. And I'm like, but that's a lie. Like, I'm not like, do these things to me. So I am just dead tired.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Dead.

[Tamara Judge]

I got to. After the. No, I'm not going to drink after the pod. I have to jump in the shower. I have one hour to get ready. Then I got to Dr. LA for a meeting.

Oh, okay. For what?

[Tamara Judge]

I'll tell you after.

I want to know. You know, I want to know.

[Tamara Judge]

I know. I'll tell you after. Yeah, so I'm just like, oh, can it just be Christmas? Are you finish. Are you finished Christmas shopping?

I'm so behind. Like, I was like, in my head, I was ahead of the game just because I didn't even do anything yet. I just thought I was like, ahead of the game. Next thing you know, it's like.

[Tamara Judge]

And denial.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

And my. And my friend Kristin Hanenian and her husband Keith are coming on the 22nd, and I haven't seen her in like two years. She's like a sister to me. Follow her on Instagram if you want to know anything. Peptides, she's a genius.

So she's like a sister to me and I'm excited for that, but I need to get things done before she gets here because, you know, I want to spend a little time with her and it's crazy. I host Christmas.

I. Eddie and I were talking this year and I'm like, let's just not buy Christmas presents for each other. And like, we have so much and we get whatever we want whenever we want. Let's just go on a big trip. Right? Okay. Just.

Right.

And then I'm not.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

No, no, I. I want guest.

I know you do. And so I said to him the other day, I go, let's do this.

The stocking challenge. And he goes, what's that? And I go, I don't know. I just made it up. I said, you have this stocking right here and you have to feel it. Full of presents for me that fit into this stocking that's so cute.

A lot of little things can fit in there. Yeah, a lot of little really nice things can fit in there.

[Tamara Judge]

And he's like, well, shoes and purses can't fit in there. I go, no, you got to use your brain. And you know what else, Eddie? You can't go the day before Christmas and fill it up. You got to start thinking now. You get off easy every single Christmas, because I do everything from setting up the Christmas tree, cooking the meals, buying all the presents for my family, his family, wrapping them. You just sit there.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

You do nothing all day. Yesterday, Paul asked his son, you want to come over for dinner? I was in the middle of cleaning. He was cleaning as closet. And the kids, like, can be over in an hour. And I go downstairs, I'm like, I have to go food shopping, Paul. And he's like, well, I was waiting for you. I said, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. Stop that. Stairs. Doing what? I had to do my cameos. And you're playing in your closet. Don't pull that shit with me.

[Tamara Judge]

What do you cook for Christmas? Well, traditional Italian.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

No, I don't do. Well, we do. We used to, but now we've, you know, put meats into it because the kids don't like fish. So it used to be the Seven Fishes, and now they'll be me and Frankie. Funicelli's father is a Frank. These names, you know. My assistant who should be here. Where is she? You know, her father's an amazing Italian chef, so I'll. I'm gonna order from him.

Oh, that's nice.

Yeah.

I was thinking about doing some Italian food for Christmas or Christmas Eve dinner. All the kids came over, like, chicken piccata, maybe some lasagna.

You know how to make lasagna, huh? Good girl.

[Tamara Judge]

I can follow a recipe. I'm not a complete.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

No, it takes a. It's not easy.

[Tamara Judge]

It takes a lot of work. It's a lot of work consuming.

And it costs more sometimes to cook than it does to order.

[Tamara Judge]

I know.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Keep that in mind.

No, no, we're not heroes here. We've done enough.

By the way, a very sad weekend as well. He's driving home from LA and heard about Rob Reiner and his wife.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Michelle was just so devastating, so tragic, so sad. He seemed like an amazing man always. I even liked his character on Archie Bunker.

[Tamara Judge]

I know, I know. It's just been so sad to find out that it was his own son that did it.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Takes my breath away. I saw a clip of them and he was saying that, you know, he listened to therapist and tried to handle his son the way he was told, but maybe that wasn't the way he should have because it was. He goes, it was never me. What do we know? Why was there a tumultuous relationship? Like, why is he. Had he.

[Tamara Judge]

Yes, he has mental illness. So. And I think substance abuse is what I've read. Allegedly. I'm not quite sure, but he was, from what I heard, taken into custody last night. Drugs and in and out of rehab and things like that. But just these poor children that they left behind. He's got three other kids. One adopted from Penny Marshall when they were married, and the other two and they lost their parents and their brother. Yeah, for the most part, just very sad.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Very, very sad. And, you know, this has been a crazy weekend. Not only that, they had this shooting on Australia.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah, I was just going to bring that up. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know that much about the shooting in Australia. Like I said, it was so busy this weekend. But I just glanced through, it was Instagram, and I saw. Oh, my God. It was targeted.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

It was a Jewish. Yeah, the Hanukkah celebration. And. And thank God.

[Tamara Judge]

Do you know how many people.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I think it was like nine. And more were shot. And then Brown lost 15.

[Tamara Judge]

Fifteen dead?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Yeah. No, no. Oh, 15 dead in Australia. Yeah. And then in Brown, you know, there'll be some kids that were supposed to come home for the holidays and now they're not. So I can't even imagine that heartache. I cannot.

The holidays just brings out the worst in some people, you know, I'm just so terribly sad. Or maybe it just hits home a little bit harder because it is the holidays. I'm not quite sure. But either way, it's just so tragic.

It was a shitty weekend. How about that?

Yeah, it was. So let's get into headlines. So we have some Salt Lake City headlines. Heather Gay reveals whether or not she's going to cross paths with Jen Shaw. So Us Weekly reported on this. Heather says she's. She has no plans in meeting up with Jen Shaw, and she says Salt Lake City is small, but we've been able to avoid people in Salt Lake City and not see them. And so she's. She's pretty confident that she's not going to cross paths with Jen Shaw. So. Okay. Now Megan and Jim Edmonds. Their parenting plan was revealed two months after Megan's temporary lost custody of the three kids. This is also very confusing to me. I did see Megan Posted a picture on her stories with her children. So she has them.

But according to.

[Tamara Judge]

According to this, the source says their kids will live full time with Jim in Tennessee. Now, keep in mind, Megan lives in Missouri. Megan will get to see the kids a few weeks every summer. Ah, what Now, I don't know that this is true because Megan's posting with her kids right now.

Maybe she. Maybe she has them. It's. It's holiday break, isn't it? Kids?

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah, but it. I just don't think that I believe what this is saying. The custody hearing has.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Sickening.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah, but they said it has been called off and both sides have reached an agreement. I just don't think that Megan's gonna agree to seeing her children only a few weeks in the summer. Makes zero sense.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Camera. I had friends when they. I had friends who were amazing moms who fought for custody of their children against their very wealthy husbands. And a couple of them lost. One girl picked up and moved to where they lived and became a teacher in the town so she could see them.

[Tamara Judge]

So, you know, I'm just no stranger to the situation. Simon. That's what he did when we got divorced. He did everything to try to hurt me. So he tried to take the kids away from me. And it was the most devastating feeling you've ever had in your life as a mother to know that it's your leaving your children's future in the hands of a third party, a judge. And that doesn't really know your kids or the parents. And obviously I did nothing to my children, so it never happened. But he was very successful with brainwashing and doing things right.

So. So there's a way to make somebody feel comfortable coming into a group, right. To embrace them. They're not doing that. They're sitting back and saying, kiss our ass. Like, what I see Ashley doing is saying, kiss ours. There's a part of me that feels that Angel's very desperate to be on the show, and she's holding back a lot from sticking up for herself and speaking the way she normally would because she wants this so bad. I don't see it happening for her. No, I know.

But, you know, the girls aren't letting her in. They're not letting her in.

Well, let's get to the house of it all, because we see her packing up her house. She claims there's a miscommunication with the owner of the rental. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this was Airbnb and she got asked to be on the show and she's renting the Airbnb. I don't think that she thought they'd be done filming because we're only on episode 11 at this time. And don't they do, like, 17?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Well, here's the thing. You get bonus, right when you're done filming. She's never. She's never been on before. So if you're a new housewife and no one's helping you and no one's being your friend or giving you any tips, like, they're not. Then you say, you don't know that. When they say, oh, we'll probably be done filming around here, you don't say, oh, let me. Let me stay a couple extra weeks. That's what I did in Rhode island, because I knew better.

I extended my rental.

It's only episode 11. They have, like, six more episodes to go. So, no, I don't believe that she thought they were done. I think, like, how it works on my show is they say, hey, we start on, let's say, January 1st, and we're done. January, February, March, April. We're done April 20th. And you're like, okay, rarely does it go over. And if it does, we're talking two days. Like, they have a budget. They have everything. That's how our show is produced.

That's not how our show is. We get another two extra weeks, which is like a few episodes. Right. You figure. Yeah, so.

So she has to be rental.

She didn't know what she was doing either.

Yeah, but, you know it didn't take the girls long to think, like, oh, she's been evicted. She's this, she's that, she's broke. I'm like, Giselle called it.

God, Giselle called it in the car. Giselle called it to Tia. She rented the house, she got the whatever it was to be on the show. And she, you know, didn't realize she was going to be there longer than she was. It's embarrassing to say the least.

Yeah, but there's a lot of housewives that go like, Meredith Marks. She doesn't live in Salt Lake City all the time. She's got a different rental every single season. So it happens. Heather lives in la, but films in Orange county, like, miscalculated.

That's it done.

But they make her out to like, isn't her.

Yeah, they're like killing her.

Does her husband currently play ball now or is he retired? Do you know?

All the time I try so hard. I have been victim to that. I have known people are lying. I go after them and try to expose their lie, and I look bad for doing it.
