Listen to High Key, a new weekly podcast. You better listen. Speaking of tanning, I was sunning my nether regions cause I Read that. You're supposed to, like, get sun not only in your mouth, but but also in your other orifices. Wait, are you talking about you put your hole into the sun? I did. That's crazy. Downward dog mooning the sun. I was gonna say. Is it cheeks open?
Dakota
It's cheeks open all the way wide.
Whitney
Is it cheeks open?
Ryder Strong
Uh huh.
Whitney
Who's holding them? Enough of that nonsense now. Listen to High key on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.

Two t's in a pod with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra.
Ryder Strong
Hi, guys.
Teddi Mellencamp
Welcome to another episode of two T's in a Pod with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamara Judge. Hi, Tam Tam, you're home. I'm home. Thank God.
Ryder Strong
Was this your biggest trip that you've taken?
Teddi Mellencamp
No, I took a big trip with Slate only for that riding thing. But this trip to my dad's was like, all the kids, not just mine, but also my sister's and I mean, it was nonstop. Plus, my dad can't stand any mess. If one thing moves, he's like, hey, did somebody move the couch? And then he makes like all of us.
Ryder Strong
That's how I am.
Teddi Mellencamp
A thousand pound couch. That's how I am. But then he's wrong. And we haven't moved it because then we can see a spot that it's been sitting there the entire time. And I'm like, that exactly how I am.
Ryder Strong
And we had my mom and her boyfriend at our house for fourth of July. And Big Bear, and of course Eddie's.
Tamra Judge
Like, bring the dog, bring the dogs.
Ryder Strong
The dog came and the dogs were running around crazy, wrestling constantly. And I'm like, wrestling, wrestling. And I'm like, there's a spot in the carpet. I mean, on the floor. There's this or that. I'm like, I'm over here cleaning everything. I'm like a nut when it comes to that kind of stuff. So I totally get where your dad's coming from.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, then I. I told him, I said, listen, if you want to keep inviting us on these trips, you have to realize that we have one jillion children and it's not always going to be immaculate. Especially because they want to get in the pool 86 times and they've decided they're done. And then they're like, hey, can we go swimming? And I'm like, I just gave you a bath.
Ryder Strong
Do you have to?
Teddi Mellencamp
Anything but that. But, you know, it was pretty challenging. I mean, you know, guys, sorry. I want to apologize to our Listeners. I had to cancel last week or two weeks ago when we were doing the pod. I was having some medical stuff, and then I was pretty much struggling up until we left. And then they put me on a new medication, and it helped a little bit. So I would say half the trip was amazing and half the trip was pretty horrible because I felt so. I mean, people are like, oh, we saw that you did this on Instagram. I'm like, yeah, that's three hours of a full day.
Ryder Strong
I know, I know, I know.
Teddi Mellencamp
People forget that there's, like, other parts of the day that aren't on the gram. I was like, by the fact that I post so much less should tell you not feeling okay.
Ryder Strong
Okay. So a lot of people will say to me, teddy's doing great. I had this conversation yesterday with Michelle because she was. She did some extensions in my hair. So thank you. And so she said, you know, so many of my clients were like, God.
Tamra Judge
Teddy's doing so good. I'm so happy for her.
Ryder Strong
And I go, I know. People say that to me all the time. And it's like, you see her on Instagram for 30 seconds, everyone's like, she's perfect.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. I mean, I'm trying to be as positive as I can and do as many things as my body tells me that I can do. But when I went back to something I didn't realize that happened with immunotherapy. First off, I want to apologize to anybody that's in any kind of, like, health care situation where they don't have additional people to help them get things done. I mean, we even have talked about it, like, even just getting your medications, all of those things. We've talked about it in regards to Amazon and things like that, that have delivery services now that come right to your door. But I seriously have felt like. And like, a desperate way to get things done. And I'm like.
Ryder Strong
Like overwhelmed people.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, like overwhelmed. Like, I'm like, waiting for this medication to come or waiting for this or, oh, no, insurance doesn't cover it until tomorrow. You can pick it up tomorrow. That's like, all those types of things. So leading up to the trip was a little bit stressful because I guess what immunotherapy does is it, you know, kind of comes out your system. And so now I've developed something with my thyroid, and I think it's hyper hypo. I'm not a doctor, guys, but hypothyroidism. So we couldn't figure out why I was feeling so low and it was. Because when you have that and all of a sudden you have. Yeah, it slows down.
Ryder Strong
You on Synthroid?
Teddi Mellencamp
Yes.
Ryder Strong
Yeah. So I'm on Synthroid, because. I know you are. I have the same thing that's so wild.
Teddi Mellencamp
Like. And I had. No. And I've never had. And I've had my thyroid checked a million times. Because, of course, you know, when. Back before I had sickness stuff, I was like, maybe something's wrong with my thyroid.
Ryder Strong
Why can't I lose £2? It must be my thyroid, right?
Teddi Mellencamp
It's my thyroid. But no, now I actually have it. And then come to find out, so does my sister, but she's had it, you know, forever.
Ryder Strong
Does she have Hyper Hypo or Hypo?
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, hypo. We both have hypo. But she's been on medication for a couple of years. She's feeling better. She also gave me some different things, soups and things to eat that help with the situation. And I've, you know, changed. The only thing I haven't given up, folks, not ready. Cheers to a Diet Coke.
Ryder Strong
Diet Coke.
Teddi Mellencamp
You know what? I blame the hospital for the Diet Coke addiction.
Ryder Strong
I blame Kaden. I didn't drink Diet Coke for 20 years.
Tamra Judge
20 years.
Ryder Strong
20, maybe even longer. And yesterday we went. Sophia and I went and had Thai food, and I ordered a Diet Coke. And she goes, I'll have one too. I go, what? You're drinking Diet Coke? And she's like, yes, I blame Kaden.
Teddi Mellencamp
You know what? I'll blame Kaden, too, just because it seems more fair. Because I think I already blame the doctors for how hard it is for me to get my prescriptions and feel good. So Kaden is gonna have to take the hit on that. Kaden is one of our producers on the show.
Ryder Strong
I give him, and he Diet Coke pounds them. And I was like, you shouldn't do that. It's horrible for you. Da, da, da. And then all of a sudden, I hang out with them. I'm drinking Diet Coke, and now I like, I can't quit it. I can't. I can't quit her.
Teddi Mellencamp
But we can still be judgmental about other people drinking Diet Coke, even though we do it ourselves.
Ryder Strong
I draw the line at Dr. Pepper. No one around me is allowed to drink Dr. Pepper.
Teddi Mellencamp
Diet Dr. Pepper or Dr. Any of them. Dr. Pepper. Any peppers. Know what I draw the line at?
Ryder Strong
What?
Teddi Mellencamp
Mountain Dew.
Ryder Strong
Oh, that's brutal. That is brutal. So how was John Mellencamp?
Teddi Mellencamp
John Mellencamp was good. I think it's really hard being In a place where, you know, I kind of am in denial of where I am physically. And when other people are not in denial, it's hard. You know, like, my sister gets emotional when she sees me and cries. My little brother, who, like, it's so beyond, you know, which has been the spec. He painted, like, a beautiful picture of me and my sister. And, like, just watching him do it and he's so now about it, like, he just goes at it and, like, he did it from. You know, obviously he did it from scratch, but, like, he did it with us sitting there. So he did it in three days and. Cause. And we were. I only was able to sit in the chair for, like, an hour a day. And, like, he nailed it. But, like, watching that makes me emotional. But, like, my family wants to have, like, the hard conversations.
Ryder Strong
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
And I don't. What do you want to talk about? They want to talk about things like the future or medically. Exactly how I'm doing. And, like, I don't want to talk about it.
Ryder Strong
No, you don't. But you don't want to talk about that with anybody.
Teddi Mellencamp
No, it's not just. Yeah, I don't want to talk about it with you either, for the record.
Ryder Strong
No, you don't. I have to, like, pull it out of you, you know?
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Ryder Strong
It's like, I know when you're not feeling well is when you're not posting on Instagram.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. That's your way of tracking. I know I'm not feeling well when I can't text at all.
Ryder Strong
And that is because your vision or your.
Teddi Mellencamp
So my vision, which is weird even with glasses. It doesn't help my vision. Or, like, you can tell today, like, see how shaky my hands are?
Ryder Strong
Yes.
Teddi Mellencamp
So then it gets so annoying to try to text because then that stupid Ziggy thing pops up, and then it wants to be a big P with that.
Ryder Strong
When you write something that shit time.
Teddi Mellencamp
I'm like, good thing I'm not having a freaking seizure, because this damn thing could push me right over the edge. I felt like the shake, rather. Really, the shaking really bothers me, like. But no, it didn't bother me.
Ryder Strong
What?
Teddi Mellencamp
Secret Lives of Mormon Wives reunion?
Ryder Strong
Well, it didn't bother you.
Teddi Mellencamp
It didn't bother me. I mean, I thought it was a tit.
Ryder Strong
It was a little bit long.
Teddi Mellencamp
I was going to say it was a little bit.
Ryder Strong
Just a little bit longer, but can.
Teddi Mellencamp
We talk about one thing first?
Ryder Strong
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
I love Nick. I always have. I love doing his podcast. I like that he. You know, he gets the guests that we don't. I know where you're everybody.
Ryder Strong
I know where you're going with us. I know you're going with us.
Teddi Mellencamp
No, I don't think that you do because I know anything. You feel the same way? No. Well, no one is. But in this particular moment, I don't know if frickin Whitney pissed in his erewhon smoothie, but he could he be nice her a break or even look at her with any sort of compassion.
Ryder Strong
Why do you think, do you think that he's a fan and he's just looking at it, you know, like that or did she do something to piss him off?
Tamra Judge
Does he just not like her?
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, I mean clearly she doesn't take accountability for anything. And I hate that I just use the word accountability for me people. But like clearly she doesn't. But who does?
Ryder Strong
Especially accountability people do. Not for everything, but.
Teddi Mellencamp
But people that take accountability for everything are also very unlikable.
Ryder Strong
But has she done anything so drastically bad that she had to take accountability for? It's all like stupid.
Teddi Mellencamp
It's all dumb. Dumb.
Ryder Strong
I mean it doesn't make a difference.
Teddi Mellencamp
But if. Who would you be the most mad at just watching this? Like who do you. Who bugged you the most? And this girl didn't even have for me, this girl didn't even have to attend their reunion and to me still bugged me the most.
Ryder Strong
I was going to say that's the one that probably bugged me the most. Just because she couldn't show up and you can't tell me, oh, sorry, I had a Disney trip. I'll tell you right now. Production reach out to us and said, hey guys, we're scheduling reunion. Do any of these dates work for you? And they work around what our schedule is. Come on, you can't. She didn't go because she didn't want to go. And I don't think she'll be back next year.
Teddi Mellencamp
Do you know, sadly I think she will be back. And then I'm like, Bravo would never, never like you don't show up. You don't get like your own little.
Ryder Strong
No. And speaking of not being back, do you think that Nick will be back next season to do the reunion?
Teddi Mellencamp
I do.
Ryder Strong
I don't think they need one. I feel like there was so much shit they couldn't talk about because there's now filming season three that it would give away storyline.
Teddi Mellencamp
This should tell you guys how little there is for us to talk about in regards to this reunion. It was 16 hours long and we only have two pages. Our third page only has three. Three sentences on it. Yeah, that I think normally we have. Like. Like, I'll have probably 65 for Orange County.
Ryder Strong
I say hire Alex Cooper to do the reunion. I think we need a girl. She would be good.
Teddi Mellencamp
She's actually where Edwin is right now, I think. Where? In, like, the south of France. Oh, yeah. Make friends with her and then ask her to reach out to us because we want to be on her pod.
Ryder Strong
Okay, well, don't be. Don't call me a traitor, but I just ordered one of her hats that says unwell.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, I just. My sister gave me the hat that says favorite daughter. And then by the end of the trip, I said to my sister, I go, can I write least at the top of this? Because clearly, anymore.
Ryder Strong
I'm sure you're the favorite daughter right now.
Teddi Mellencamp
I don't think so. I think how quickly the tides. I can rub people the wrong way.
Ryder Strong
Even dying isn't so. Say it isn't so. But don't you get a little bit of a call hall pass right now?
Teddi Mellencamp
No. I get made fun of by everybody because I pace around in slow motion.
Ryder Strong
I interviewed with Sheena and Kiki Monique today, and Kiki was talking about how you guys chat a little bit on DMS or something. And she was saying how you still really have your wits about you and you have your humor about you. And you guys had a conversation. I don't know how Ria was probably old about Raya.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, yeah, because Raya, she Something waitlisted. I never got into Raya.
Ryder Strong
They will listen to this day.
Teddi Mellencamp
They waitlisted me.
Ryder Strong
And she says that you're being funny about it. Like, of all people, why wouldn't they pick me right now?
Teddi Mellencamp
Like, I am sorry. I don't. I'm not one of your. I would wonder, though, like, if I were to, like, zip back on hinge or get on Riot. Do I need to be bald to be transparent?
Ryder Strong
Yes. No.
Teddi Mellencamp
I can't just go the. Like, I can't just keep my same profile pics. And then if they really care, they could probably.
Ryder Strong
Are you trying to catch somebody?
Teddi Mellencamp
Yes. Because I would probably wear my wig to the first date, and then it would be surprise if we were getting second base.
Ryder Strong
Better if you just put you. Obviously, obviously, you're not going to do this. This is hypothetically speaking, because you're fine where you're at right now. But I think that you would have to do bald, because then if somebody is like, yes, yes, this is my girl. There's no surprises.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, can you guys let us know something? How long? My sister said it was something like quarter of an inch in a month is how long your hair? I'm trying to figure out.
Ryder Strong
I can tell you.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, am I going to need my hair done in October or else, or am I still wigging it? It's this long now.
Ryder Strong
Okay, so I, you know, I had that brow lift back in August.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Ryder Strong
And for a good month after that, there was no hair. None that were my incisions where the hair would not grow back. So month two, it started to grow back and now it's like this long.
Teddi Mellencamp
Really?
Ryder Strong
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
So are you taking neutrophil?
Ryder Strong
I was, but I take, I take so many things, supplements and stuff. And sometimes it's like, oh, you have to take four of them. So how many prescription pills are you on, do you know?
Teddi Mellencamp
I'm on zero narcotics, but I'm on probably 16 medications. I would say if I like look at the. But it's like, you know, anti seizure medication, this medica, blah, blah, blah. Like it's.
Ryder Strong
What medication did they recently. You don't have to answer this, but they recently changed or switched that.
Teddi Mellencamp
That was hypothyroid. Oh, the one they recently switched because it was making me sick? Yeah, no, that was just the hypothyroid medication.
Ryder Strong
Oh.
Teddi Mellencamp
And guys, I know that we're supposed to be talking about Secret lives of Mormon wives, but now we're, you know what? We're talking about my medical issues.
Ryder Strong
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
So I kept telling them from freaking day one of being in the hospital, they said to me, do you want a catheter? And I was like, well, I don't know when I'm gonna pee. So probably. So they put a catheter in there. They're like, this could cause problems later. Granted, there's like 86 different doctors that worked on me because I was like a weird case. So ever since then I was like, guys, I think I have a uti. And they're like, nope, it's not showing up in your labs. And like, well, I'm not going on and checking my paperwork. Like, I don't know, labs. So I. This last time I went in again, and I was like, guys, I'm telling you, I have a uti. The doctors are like, no, you don't. And then my friend Kelly looked at my labs and she's like, teddy, you've had a UTI since you've been in the hospital.
Ryder Strong
Oh my gosh, that's horrible.
Teddi Mellencamp
So it had turned into Something that was, like, really making me sick.
Ryder Strong
Well, I mean, I think I told the story before, but you were in the hospital, and they wanted you to get up to the bathroom, and you're like, nope, can't do it. Nope, nope, nope. And they're like, well, we don't want to keep putting a catheter in you because you could get an infection, you know?
Teddi Mellencamp
Guess what? I did.
Ryder Strong
Yeah. And then you.
Jesse
Oh.
Teddi Mellencamp
And then they put me on the steroids again, so I was all revved up. You were roided out. I was all roided out for eight days. Eight days of roiding out. Speaking of roided out, now, who I didn't like, even after this, I thought this was going to be his redemption.
Ryder Strong
Dakota.
Teddi Mellencamp
No, didn't like him. I know you kind of like him, but not me.
Ryder Strong
Yeah, I'm kind of indifferent now. I'm just. I don't really have an opinion. I think, like, we've already done the Dakota thing. He can. He can go now.
Teddi Mellencamp
I'm gonna tell you, I don't need to. I love Taylor. I want her to be our best friend, but no. And I don't want to see Dakota crying anymore. Quit it.
Ryder Strong
I don't quit it.
Teddi Mellencamp
If I'm not crying every single minute of this podcast. Dakota doesn't need to be crying.
Ryder Strong
I know, right? If they're not going to get back together, then I don't see any reason for him to be on the next season that they're.
Teddi Mellencamp
Why he's a part of dad talk.
Ryder Strong
Oh, God.
Teddi Mellencamp
I. I just want to see Eddie do a dance on Tick Tock.
Ryder Strong
Oh, yeah, that's gonna happen. Never.
Teddi Mellencamp
I bet he'll do it for me. I'm hard to say no to these days.
Ryder Strong
Yeah. Okay. I couldn't imagine him doing any kind of dance like that.
Tamra Judge

Honestly, Honestly, Honestly. No one wants to think about hiv, but there are things that everyone can do to help prevent it. Things like prep. Prep stands for pre exposure prophylaxis, and it means routinely taking prescription medicine before you're exposed to HIV to help reduce your chances of getting it. Prep can be about 99% effective when taken as a prescribed. It doesn't protect against other STIs, though, so be sure to use condoms and other healthy sex practices. Ask a healthcare provider about all your prevention Options, and visit findoutaboutprep.com to learn more.

Whitney shows up. She's in a tiara. How do you feel about a little baby tiara?
Ryder Strong
Not no, no. That's you saying, look at her hair.
Teddi Mellencamp
Kept getting caught.
Ryder Strong
I know that's you saying, you know, I'm a princess. I'm a CR queen. We had a girl that wore a tiara this season and I'm like, girl, no.
Teddi Mellencamp
No girl. No girl by yes queen don't yask if you have to wear a tiara. Didn't somebody on Miami just wear a tiara to something? It may have been your girl, Larsa.
Ryder Strong
No, I don't.
Teddi Mellencamp
But I didn't like it there either. I'm not into tiaras. Except for Toddlers and Tiara's best show ever.
Ryder Strong
Some of these housewives need to go on that show.
Teddi Mellencamp
It's a shame my kids have passed their peak of being on Toddlers and Tiaras, but she shows up in a tiara I like the fact this is what I'm gonna say about Whitney at the beginning of this 16 hour venture of a show that we were watching. You know, I liked her. I love somebody that leans into the hate, which I think she's. It's like she's almost not affected by it or she doesn't believe that it' happening. And I need to know if they were joking when they said that she's going to do her own mom talk.
Ryder Strong
I don't know. I mean, I, I think sometimes I love watching Whitney dance. I can go on her tik tok or her Instagram and, well, you'll be.
Teddi Mellencamp
Able to see it.
Ryder Strong
I know. I am very happy that she got on Dancing the Stars because she does have moves. I just hope she's not going to be wearing a tiara. What were your thoughts on her FaceTiming demi? And she's just like, yeah, I plan a Disneyland trip. So, like, peace out. Like, I'm surprised they even did pre recorded things with her. Like, if you can't make it off, you don't do.
Teddi Mellencamp
Also, I don't want to hear this. I don't want to hear that the other cast members are bullying her.
Ryder Strong
It's. It's a dramatic show. It's like being on Housewives and saying, you're bullying me. You're mean to me. You should. You guys all say, I know, I know.
Teddi Mellencamp
I. I mean, can we come up with a different word or like a, like a hand motion that means bully but without saying bully because I. I don't want to hear it anymore. Yeah, you're me.
Ryder Strong
You're jacking me off. That's it. Don't jack me off.
Teddi Mellencamp
Don't actually, please do.
Ryder Strong
Please jack you off.
Teddi Mellencamp
But what about how Nick, then thanks Layla for the dramatic season finale.
Ryder Strong
Okay, I didn't agree with that. I didn't think like, oh, it was Layla that did this. And I don't know, I didn't really. We didn't really get any closure on what truly happened. I don't feel like we did because now they're saying, well, it's a storyline for season three, so there's not much that we can say. What did you, what did you get out of it?
Teddi Mellencamp
I got that. If Marciano doesn't come on the pod soon and give us all the deeds, I don't care. He probably can't because now he's gotten himself on a new show.
Ryder Strong
What's he on?
Teddi Mellencamp
I bet he's on season three. We see him in the previews so.
Ryder Strong
What are your true thoughts about Nick being chosen to host the reunion?
Teddi Mellencamp
I think that there. I think it was too many people for him to manage it. I don't think he was. It almost seemed like when he was watching it, he, He. You could tell he was listening, like, through the. The prompter. Yeah. So you didn't feel the emotions that you feel When I hear him on his own podcast.
Ryder Strong
Yeah. Like, I think it's. It's tough shoes to fill. I mean, Andy Cohen's been doing it for so long, and I know there's been other shows that have reunions, and no matter who the host is, they're always being compared to Andy Cohen, who is.
Teddi Mellencamp
You got to learn. It takes a learning curve. I mean, he's probably going to get better and better at it, and I don't know any other male that could have probably gone in and done a better job than him.
Ryder Strong
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
Unless you're going to go for somebody who's really going to go after these ladies, and I don't think they can take it.
Ryder Strong
I wish his questions were a little bit tougher.
Teddi Mellencamp
I wish he would have dug in more. But I think that's the problem that season three is out. You're right.
Ryder Strong
Yeah, I. I mean, I think, like I said in the group, I thought you could do a better job.
Teddi Mellencamp
Tamara, I love you so much.
Ryder Strong
I know. What's not to love.
Teddi Mellencamp
But you know what, Tamara Judge, they did not. They would rather have two girls for mom talk on Dancing with the Stars than one of us.
Ryder Strong
Thank God. How exciting for them, though, to be.
Teddi Mellencamp
I mean, it is really exciting. It really was back in the mix. But Jesse. What about how Jesse refuses to speak on Marciano because it will play out in season three?
Ryder Strong
Well, I think that was her way of getting. Getting, you know, not having to answer the question. Get around the question. I still don't know. Did she sleep with him?
Teddi Mellencamp
I think they hooked up. That's.
Ryder Strong
Well, her husband are split up, so it.
Teddi Mellencamp
He still has a wedding ring on. She doesn't.
Ryder Strong
Did you notice that?
Teddi Mellencamp
Because Nick didn't say anything about it.
Ryder Strong
Yeah, no, I did notice that. So I.
Teddi Mellencamp
It.
Ryder Strong
It's very confusing, but if I'm reading between the lines correctly, I think that maybe something did absolutely happen. Now, you had said prior that there's like this theory that. That Demi and him came together and they're trying to pin it on Jesse.
Teddi Mellencamp
My guess is that's not the case. Just the vibe I'm getting from Jesse is. And I'm Jesse, love You. I think you work your ass off. I think you're good television. I think you're beautiful. I think the fact that you had to explain yourself on Instagram the other day because people said that you had too sharp of cheekbones or whatever they.
Ryder Strong
Called her masculine or something like that.
Teddi Mellencamp
And, like, don't. You don't have to defend yourself on shit like that. You're a beautiful woman, and who gives a what other people have to say? And, you know, most of the time when people comment on your looks, they ain't looking so good themselves. But I don't think anybody. I don't. My gut feeling is she might be a little bit over him, the husband.
Ryder Strong
Well, you're probably right. If she maybe had an affair, that's gonna say it right there.
Teddi Mellencamp
But even if she didn't have an affair, she doesn't have the ring on, and he does. To me, that's a red flag. That ain't giving green flags. Oh, the amount of words I learned from my kids this past week. I'll talk. We'll talk about that on the next pod. But then Jesse feels the need to share the text between Demi and Marciano. They had flirty exchanges. Like, and I want to talk about what we think are flirty exchanges. Lol. Hate you. Is that a flirty exchange? No.
Ryder Strong
I mean, I probably have said that to you a million times.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. Oysters are no different than swallowing. Come to me. That's not flirty. That's gross.
Ryder Strong
That's gross. And it's crossing the line. And you wouldn't talk to somebody like that if you didn't have a certain type of relationship with them.
Teddi Mellencamp
And then she wrote, ruined it forever and joy. And then there's a clamshell eggplant, and then drops of water, a squirt. Oh, is that what that means?
Ryder Strong
Squirting squirt? Yes.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, and then what's his name? Jen's husband, Brett.
Ryder Strong
So, wait, Zach.
Teddi Mellencamp
Zach had to chime in that the oyster Men of vagina. Or I think he said pussy.
Ryder Strong
He said. Yeah. She's all, oh. She's like, what's that? Oh, how mad do you think Brett was watching this? Do you think that he had any idea these text messages were going to be.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yes, I'm sure he knew because they all had it saved on their phone, which means it's all in the group text. I think that's why she came without her ring, because it did. Her coming without her ring and opening up the way she did. I. I mean, granted, we're talking about it.
Ryder Strong
Text messages were between Demi and Marciano. Right.
Tamra Judge
Not Jesse.
Teddi Mellencamp
Correct. But that's why Demi didn't even show up.
Ryder Strong
Oh, you're saying that's why she didn't show up because she knew that these text messages were going to come out.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, she. She's not. She didn't show up. She's not going to show up until she can control the narrative by outing Jesse in some kind of way that's worse than her sending clamshells. Yeah, because let's be honest, boning down with somebody and sending a clamshell phoning down might be. Yeah, but he.
Ryder Strong
What?
Tamra Judge
He was literally playing both of them.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, I know. Who else he played? Layla.
Ryder Strong
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
Sweet Layla didn't come in guns blazing for that interview.
Ryder Strong
No, I don't think anybody was really guns ablazing. I mean, it was.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. Michaela and Whitney revisit their feud. Nick accuses Whitney of enjoying other people's drama too much. Nick is on Whitney.
Ryder Strong
He doesn't like her. He doesn't like her. I. I think he got great pleasure out of telling Jen that she was hired first for Watch. Watch what happens first for Dancing with the Stars. And then he's like, oh, by the way, you too. You too, Whitney. You get it, too.
Teddi Mellencamp
But then she had to act out that she was surprised, like the contract wasn't already done.
Ryder Strong
Oh, I wonder if they know.
Teddi Mellencamp
Of course they do. Do you?
Ryder Strong
I don't know.
Teddi Mellencamp
I know I just be walking down the street to Kyle's, and then all of a sudden I'm getting filmed. And then all of a sudden they, like, hand me a diamond. And then I'm like, oh, who would have known? I'm a housewife now.
Ryder Strong
Do you know how many people are asking me if you're back on Beverly Hills? I'm so sick of people asking me that. I'm like, I always say I go, no. Like, I got asked that today. I'm like, not that I know of. She told me. No.
Teddi Mellencamp
Why does everybody think that?
Ryder Strong
I don't. It's probably one of your interviews that you did.
Teddi Mellencamp
I said, I'm not answering this question. I'm like, there's no point. I haven't been on the show for years. I'm not talking about the show. I'm over talking about the show.
Ryder Strong
I think people took it as not talking about it means that you are back and you're not allowed to talk about it.
Teddi Mellencamp
Do I seem like somebody that's that smart with their words?
Ryder Strong
No, I know you better.
Teddi Mellencamp
You know what always seems to happen on vacation? Somebody gets sick.
Ryder Strong
Of course you're in a hotel or.
Tamra Judge
In another state, spiraling out, looking at potential illnesses and remedies on the Internet.
Teddi Mellencamp
At 3am As a mom, I've lost count of how many trips have turned into me frantically searching and pediatric care near me when one of the kids get sick.
Tamra Judge

Honestly, Honestly, Honestly, no one wants to think about hiv, but there are things that everyone can do to help prevent it. Things like PrEP. PrEP stands for prevention, Exposure, Prophylaxis and it means routinely taking prescription medicine before you're exposed to HIV to help reduce your chances of getting it. Prep can be about 99% effective when taken as prescribed. It doesn't protect against other STIs though, so be sure to use condoms and other healthy sex practices. Teddi Mellencamp
Then Dakota joins the reunion. He's as smart with his words as I am. Taylor reveals she found more evidence of cheating while she was pregnant. They're now co parenting at Stagecoach. They looked very cozy. Taylor admits that's the door isn't closed. She says the door isn't closed, but it seems closed. But she just means I still will have sex with them when I feel lonely. Or what does she mean him.
Ryder Strong
But I don't want a commitment with him. I mean, I would like to See them work it out, because obviously they're cute together and they have a child together, but if they haven't worked it.
Tamra Judge
Out yet, it's not looking good.
Teddi Mellencamp
What about when he opens up about having a 10 year drug addiction and he's in a cycle of self work? I was like, are you Jax Taylor in Mormon clothing? Jax Taylor was on my flight.
Ryder Strong
Okay, I need to hear about that. Wait, okay, can I. Was he in first class? No, he was in coach.
Teddi Mellencamp
He was in coach, but this is the middle seat. Middle seat, coach. No, middle seat, coach.
Ryder Strong
Yeah, because where was he going?
Teddi Mellencamp
He was going home, but I had to make a stop.
Ryder Strong
Oh, like where's home now?
Teddi Mellencamp
I forget where I flew into, but maybe Detroit. Does that sound right?
Ryder Strong
He doesn't live where your dad lives?
Teddi Mellencamp
No, we were had a stop. But this is the worst part about me. So I am sitting in first class and I'm sitting next to Dove, and I can't even help myself, but I look up and I see him and I go, oh, God, Jax Taylor. Did he hear you?
Ryder Strong
That probably would have been my first instinct too.
Teddi Mellencamp
I don't even know why I said it out loud. Like, what an idiot. But it took him a second to figure out who I was, I think because I didn't have any makeup on. I was completely bald. I didn't use any facetune.
Ryder Strong
Oh, did you have a hat on? No hat on.
Teddi Mellencamp
Nothing. Nothing. I had. I was just sitting there.
Ryder Strong
And you probably just thought you were a fan.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. And then he goes, so he's almost about to pass me, and he's like, oh, hey, Teddy, where are you going? Are you on your way home? And I'm like, no. Well, I'm on my way to my dad's place in South Carolina. And he's like, okay, well, it's good to see you. And I'm like, where are you going? He's like, to where my. Where I'm from something or other. And then I hear right as he passes by me, he starts complaining to the flight attendant that he isn't in first class and needs to move to first class because he's in a middle seat. And I was like, buddy, from what I've been watching, you shouldn't be spending that extra money even on Delta first class.
Ryder Strong
Okay?
Teddi Mellencamp
Those aren't even lay flat seats. I regretted my decision.
Ryder Strong
Well, first of all, you know your flight, you pick your flight, you book your flight, you book your seat.
Tamra Judge
It's not southwest.
Ryder Strong
You know where you're sitting. I know. So was he Doing that just to make a big deal, like, oh, they made a mistake. I should be in first class.
Teddi Mellencamp
I think so. I think he saw me and he panicked that I was going to talk about it. So what do I do? We're talking about, remember halfway through the pod to talk about it.
Ryder Strong
Did he get to. He didn't get to first class.
Teddi Mellencamp
No, he didn't. I didn't get to see him. When I get to not want to.
Ryder Strong
Lean over and go, hey, bud, when you book a flight, you got to pay for first class.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, no, he was on his way back to seat 33, so I didn't get to have another conversation. And then I got off so quickly that then he was still on when I was departing.
Ryder Strong
Sorry about your life. Sorry about your flight.
Teddi Mellencamp
But then Dakota talks about how Taylor got drunk three nights in a row after. After him saying he couldn't be around somebody that drinks after his 10 year sobriety. And then, you know, I think that was solely to make her look bad.
Tamra Judge
Because I don't ever see her drinking on the show.
Teddi Mellencamp
Because on that. On last season, she had to. She like couldn't leave the state. She had all these.
Ryder Strong
She got arrested, right?
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. Because of a fight with Dakota when she was drinking. Allegedly. I think he was just wanting to make her look bad. Like, the reason I cheated on you is because you got drunk three times. But like you're. You started dating a girl that drinks.
Ryder Strong
That said, that's a bad. No, I'm not buying that.
Teddi Mellencamp
I'm not buying it either.
Ryder Strong
Not buying it. Sorry.
Teddi Mellencamp
Then we get to Demi's prerecorded one on one interview with Nick. I mean, way to go Vile Files. You really getting after it. You got your. Like they did. She did it in his LA studio. Like we've been in there, right?
Ryder Strong
So she had zero remorse.
Teddi Mellencamp
She doubles down claiming Layla, Whitney and Jen trash talk Jay Z Styles, hair color services, and they all deny it. I think this is a ridiculous argument that I don't want to hear anything else about. All I know is I would cut somebody's eyes out to have Jesse's hair.
Ryder Strong
She's beautiful. I mean, it's not all, pretty much.
Teddi Mellencamp
Any of her features.
Ryder Strong
She's beautiful. It's not all her hair. Now she's got extensions in there.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, no shit. But that's why she does good extensions. And that means that somebody on that works for her also does good extensions. Because I don't think she does her own.
Ryder Strong
No. So I don't think it was about the extensions though. But they were kind of putting down her coloring the way they color.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, I know. I mean, but this is so ridiculous. I also want to be like, hey, Demi, newsflash. You have the same hair color as Jesse.
Ryder Strong
Well.
Teddi Mellencamp
It'S like. Sorry about it. Sometimes I get confused when you guys are walking from behind. I know, but Jen brings out receipts to talk about certain things that happen. Jen plays a recorded call with Demi and Brett asking her not to discuss Marciano on camera. Demi asked her to pretend to admire her open and honest marriage. Then Zach says Demi sent them a cease and desist. Your favorite word.
Ryder Strong
Yeah. How is it cyst and deceased.
Teddi Mellencamp
Cist and deceased afterwards specifically did not speak about Vanderpumpfella on camera. Also, we know that he's gotten the boot from Vander vampwella. But clearly now he's.
Ryder Strong
Now he's moved over to Mormon wise.
Teddi Mellencamp
You know what? Good move.
Ryder Strong
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, good move. Then Jen opens up about her pre. The fact of the amount of things that weren't shown this season that we did get. Oh, my God.
Ryder Strong
I see it all in the last 20 minutes.
Teddi Mellencamp
I know Jen opens up about her prenatal depression and suicidal ideation. That part we did hear about, but I feel like that was cut short. We could have talked about that more. There could have been more to gain.
Ryder Strong
I think there would be way more to gain to talk about situations like that, you know? But then again, like, you open yourself up to things like that, and then all of a sudden, you know, you're playing victim or you're this. Or nobody believes you. So it's.
Teddi Mellencamp
Or Demi just doesn't believe you or Brett, who do you think runs the manipulation show? Demi or Brett?
Ryder Strong
Oh, Demi for sure. I think.
Teddi Mellencamp
I don't know. I think Brett seems like he might be a little controlling.
Ryder Strong
You think so?
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. I don't get good vibes from him. He doesn't have Riz any res to me.
Ryder Strong
No Riz.
Teddi Mellencamp
No Riz. No Riz. Maybe he did. Maybe if. And you guys, if I said something different when I first started watching. Opinions can change.
Ryder Strong
They can.
Teddi Mellencamp
Then Jay, Mikayla's husband, shares his story. Jay says he was fired due to the mom talk drama. Now he's a stay at home dad to support Michaela.
Ryder Strong
But didn't he own a family business?
Teddi Mellencamp
No, but then they found out that the family business had been taken over by somebody else. And that's the person that fired him. Not even his family business. His family business was in trouble. So then another. I'm gonna use creditor Whomever it was came in and took over the business and then gave him the boot. So it wasn't like his dad fired him. And then Connor opens up about his porn addiction, which I thought was very moving, but I also was very confused because they keep saying Tinder, but originally I thought it was Grindr. Or did I just make that up in my head? Oh, I guess it's always been Tinder on the show. But I'm a little bit curious.
Ryder Strong
In your mind it was Grindr? In my mind, it was speculated that it was Grindr. That's what it was. Because people were saying that he had.
Teddi Mellencamp
The Internet is saying Grindr and Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is saying it's Tinder. But then, so we get a couple things. So first we get, you know, we get a lot of people sharing their inside stories. We also get Layla's story.
Ryder Strong
Yes. About another story that we didn't get to see on the season.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, I think it was because Demi was like biting her nails and like, filing them and like doing her hair. Like she was not paying attention to the story at all. Plus, I'm not sure that I would share. Like, it just. It didn't feel. I know what she's saying is authentic, but it didn't feel like a natural setting to share such a traumatic thing in your life. And so I think that's why that didn't get aired, in my opinion.
Ryder Strong
Did go to social media and posted pictures as well of her scarring on her legs and stuff.
Teddi Mellencamp
It's really sad. And. But the fact that that's another thing. Like, let's dig into some of these additional stories. I don't need to see them fighting over Dakota every episode.
Ryder Strong
These are the type of stories that help people, you know, when you put your story out there. And yes, it's fun to see the fighting and the arguing and the cattiness, but it's also good to see, like, authentic stories that people can relate to and be like, okay, I'm not the only one. I would have to give Taylor, like, props. Like, she admits when she did something wrong. She's compassionate. When somebody's upset, she can dish it out and she can take it. Like, she's very well rounded. She's good tv.
Teddi Mellencamp
She's good tv. And she also, I don't know, she's likable. Even when she does something shitty, I still like her.
Ryder Strong
And the facial expressions non stop. I just love.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. And then we get back to more Jesse and Marciano. Their situation where Nick flat out asks her did you sleep with him? And she's like, no, but I just want to open up about my story to help other people. And then Marciano in the scenes for next season reveals he was manipulated and wants to take a lie detector test. Police.
Ryder Strong
He was manipulated? How, how was he manipulated?
Teddi Mellencamp
He didn't know what a clam show was on the.
Ryder Strong
Oh, shut up.
Teddi Mellencamp
Then that's when we get to Whitney talking about her own mom talk. And then Demi and Jesse have a one on one sit down. Do we think that Demi and Jesse are going to make up? I hope not.
Ryder Strong
I don't. That would be a tough one for me to, to make up with somebody that did that shitty like to like try to get her off the show and to get more money and things like that. Like that's not a friend. And, and I don't even know really. I think they, she said. How long have they been a friend? A year, like two years. How long have they really been friends?
Teddi Mellencamp
That's, that's the thing. But know who has been friends the entire time and we haven't mentioned her name once.
Ryder Strong
Who?
Teddi Mellencamp
Miranda.
Ryder Strong
Miranda's not a very big part in this reunion.
Teddi Mellencamp
Miranda, we need you to bring it next season because you're very cute. You see, when you do talk, I don't have a problem with what you're saying. I just want more of it.
Ryder Strong
You're so kind, Teddy.
Teddi Mellencamp
I don't, I just got, you know.
Ryder Strong
You don't bug me. I need to see more of you. Just, just, you know, because I can't.
Teddi Mellencamp
Make these kind of decisions. I mean, all I've seen of her is her ex husband who I really disliked.
Ryder Strong
And then Layla came out of her shell a little bit towards the end during the, I don't know, bringing on Marciano.
Teddi Mellencamp
Leila got her. Her producer credit on this season.
Ryder Strong
Yeah, and her. I liked her dress too. It was really pretty on her. I couldn't wear it.
Teddi Mellencamp
But yeah, I mean they're a lot younger than us, Tam. I think a lot. I think they're a lot younger than me. But I wonder how long until we get to see this third season that they're talking about this entire reunion. September. We get it in September.
Ryder Strong
Oh, just in time for my birthday.
Teddi Mellencamp
You know what? That's the gift that keeps on giving. Before that happens, can we go to Salt Lake City? I really want to go to Salt Lake City. I've only ever been with my kids and gone skiing and stuff.
Ryder Strong
I want to go to Jay Z Styles. I was chatting with Jesse. I'm Like, I want to come in.
Teddi Mellencamp
I want to come in. Maybe we need to wait until my hair gets about 8 inches longer and then we go. And then they can. There's something to attach the extensions to. It's.
Ryder Strong
It's grown a lot.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. I mean, but just you wait. I mean, it's grown a lot. Thank you.
Ryder Strong
You should call. You should call Britney Spears and ask her how long it took her until she could put extensions in her head.
Teddi Mellencamp
Gosh, good thing the episode is over because I was sweating. Had to take my wig off. Things.
Ryder Strong
Wedding balls.
Teddi Mellencamp
Cheers to another episode. We made it. We made it through another season. We'll be back later on this week to talk about.
Ryder Strong
Yes, I'll be doing this from the hotel room in New York because we've.
Teddi Mellencamp
Got the Valley and Miami.
Ryder Strong
I know. And I gotta watch them tonight.
Teddi Mellencamp
Can you guys start watching Miami? By the way, why aren't y' all watching it? It not you, Tam.
Ryder Strong

PREP stands for Pre Exposure Prophylaxis and it means routinely taking prescription medicine before you're exposed to HIV to help reduce your chances of getting it. Prep can be about 99% effective when taken as prescribed. It doesn't protect against other STIs though, so be sure to use condoms and other healthy sex products practices. Podcast Summary: Two Ts In A Pod with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge
Episode Title: He’s No Andy… (SLOMW Reunion)
Release Date: July 8, 2025
Host/Author: iHeartPodcasts
Duration: Approximately 57 minutes
The episode kicks off around the 3-minute mark, transitioning from initial advertisements to the heart of the discussion between hosts Teddi Mellencamp, Tamra Judge, and guest Ryder Strong. The focus centers on Teddi's recent family trip and her personal health struggles, segueing into an in-depth analysis of the "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" (SLOMW) reunion.
[03:16]
Teddi Mellencamp shares her experiences from a recent family trip to her father’s home, highlighting the challenges of managing a large family where cleanliness is paramount. She mentions, “If one thing moves, he's like, hey, did somebody move the couch? And then he makes like all of us.” This sets the stage for a conversation about balancing family expectations and personal well-being.
[04:15]
Ryder Strong relates by discussing his own experiences with family gatherings, particularly emphasizing the chaos brought by pets and children: “The dog came and the dogs were running around crazy, wrestling constantly.” Both hosts express frustration over maintaining order in such lively environments.
[05:01]
Teddi opens up about her recent health issues, apologizing to listeners for her absence due to medical complications. She states, “I felt so... my vision doesn’t help my vision.” Teddi details her battle with hypothyroidism, emphasizing the emotional and physical toll it has taken on her, especially during the trip.
[07:13]
The discussion delves deeper into healthcare challenges, with Teddi expressing frustration over navigating the healthcare system: “I seriously have felt like... waiting for this medication to come or waiting for this...” This segment provides a raw and honest look into the difficulties of managing chronic health conditions.
[08:14]
Ryder shares a lighter moment about his newfound Diet Coke habit, humorously blaming their producer, Kaden: “I blame Kaden. I didn't drink Diet Coke for 20 years.” This exchange adds a relatable and humorous contrast to Teddi’s more serious health discussions.
[12:00]
The main focus shifts to the SLOMW reunion, where Teddi and Ryder critique the handling of the event. Teddi remarks, “This should tell you guys how little there is for us to talk about in regards to this reunion.” They express disappointment over the lack of substantial content despite the lengthy 16-hour production.
[14:00]
A significant portion of the conversation revolves around specific cast members and their actions during the reunion. Teddi criticizes a cast member for not attending, comparing her to Reality TV standards: “Bravo would never, never like you don't show up.” Ryder echoes this sentiment, questioning the authenticity and commitment of the absent member.
[23:10]
The hosts revisit the topic of healthcare again briefly before returning to SLOMW discussions, maintaining a focus on their primary analysis of the reunion.
[29:00]
Teddi and Ryder delve into the interpersonal drama among the cast, particularly focusing on Jesse and Marciano’s strained relationship. Teddi states, “Who would you be the most mad at just watching this?” They dissect text message exchanges and speculate on infidelity, highlighting the show's underlying tensions.
[36:00]
The conversation touches on gender dynamics within the show's production, with Teddi lamenting the absence of strong female voices: “We need two girls for mom talk on Dancing with the Stars than one of us.” They express a desire for more female representation and authentic storytelling within reality TV reunions.
[49:00]
Personal stories from other cast members are analyzed, including Jay’s struggles with job loss and Connor's porn addiction. Teddi comments on the lack of depth in portraying these issues on the show: “It didn't feel like a natural setting to share such a traumatic thing in your life.”
[52:00]
Tamra Judge interjects briefly, promoting a sponsor before the hosts resume their candid discussion. Teddi praises certain cast members for their authenticity, stating, “She's compassionate. When somebody's upset, she can dish it out and she can take it.” This highlights the hosts' appreciation for genuine personalities amidst the scripted drama.
[54:00]
The hosts share personal anecdotes, including an amusing encounter Teddi had with a celebrity (Jax Taylor), blending humor with their usual in-depth analysis. Teddi recounts, “He was going to move to first class because he's in a middle seat.” This story serves to lighten the conversation and showcase their camaraderie.
[56:00]
As the episode nears its end, Teddi and Ryder discuss future topics, mentioning their plans to discuss "The Real Housewives of Orange County" in upcoming episodes. Teddi notes, “We made it through another season. We'll be back later on this week to talk about.” This sets expectations for listeners about what’s to come, maintaining engagement beyond the current episode.
[56:35]
The conversation wraps up with light-hearted banter about other shows like "Miami" and upcoming viewing plans, reinforcing the hosts' enthusiasm for reality TV while maintaining a personable and relatable tone.
[03:29] Teddi Mellencamp: “No, I took a big trip with Slate only for that riding thing. But this trip to my dad's was like, all the kids, not just mine, but also my sister's and I mean, it was nonstop.”
[05:52] Ryder Strong: “People say that to me all the time. And it's like, you see her on Instagram for 30 seconds, everyone's like, she's perfect.”
[07:14]
Teddi Mellencamp: “I seriously have felt like... waiting for this medication to come or waiting for this...”
[09:56] Teddi Mellencamp: “I'll blame Kaden, too, just because it seems more fair. Because I think I already blame the doctors for how hard it is for me to get my prescriptions and feel good.”
[12:33] Teddi Mellencamp: “I love Nick. I always have. I love doing his podcast.”
[29:02] Ryder Strong: “And then she wrote, ruined it forever and joy. And then there's a clamshell eggplant, and then drops of water, a squirt. Oh, is that what that means?”
[35:06] Ryder Strong: “They are the type of stories that help people, you know, when you put your story out there.”
[43:44] Ryder Strong: “He doesn't live where your dad lives?”
[44:04] Ryder Strong: “Lean over and go, hey, bud, when you book a flight, you got to pay for first class.”
