Well, I. I'm coming to you with a weird angle because my computer stopped working, so now I'm on the iPad and I'm like, why?

I thought this was appropriate because Beaver Lake is in Arkansas is not close to where Southern Charm is.

Yeah. Is that close?

I. I do not think so.

Oh, it's not Arkansas. South Carolina. I figure they're all in the same area over there.

Well, right now we're recapping Southern charm season 10, episode 2. It starts off, you know, Shep's taking a little shower and then he's FaceTiming his 26 year old girlfriend.

[Chris Patterson Rosso]

And I wanted to fix his hair so bad.

[Gabe Gonzalez]

Cause it was what I'm like, no, no.

[Chris Patterson Rosso]

And there she is, all cute. First thing I thought was, how old is she? And of course the producers let us know she's only 26 years old and he's 44.

[Gabe Gonzalez]

Well, and he also kind of seemed nervous talking to her. Like he's still trying to end that, like winning her over stage. But he doesn't fail to mention that she is the former Ms. Bahamas. And apparently she's a lot of things that Taylor isn't.

[Chris Patterson Rosso]

Whatever. He was really shaming Taylor too. And her new boyfriend. I didn't like that at all.

[Gabe Gonzalez]

Well, I was thinking, does Sienna choosing to date Shep mean, like, are we gonna do a show in the Bahamas? Like, what? Sienna, what are you doing? I mean, Shep, we love you, but like.

[Chris Patterson Rosso]

Well, I think Sienna wants to be on tv. That's. I'm just putting that out there. Shep looks so in love, like little puppy dog. And. And then he's acting just a little desperado.

Like, when can I see you? I'd love to come see you.

[Chris Patterson Rosso]

Can I just go say, wait, wait, when, when, when, when? I just want to go see you.

[Gabe Gonzalez]

Yeah. Then we get to. Taylor and Gaston are playing pickleball and 30mph wind. Taylor says her seven month relationship with Gaston is night and day difference from her two year relationship with Shep. And then they, you know, they give us the flashback to 2021 where her and Shep are playing a game and he calls her idiot.

[Chris Patterson Rosso]

I wanted to punch him when I saw that. I'm like, really? Shep? And then I really wanted to punch him.

[Gabe Gonzalez]

Yeah. And then right after we get, you know, him calling her a idiot, then Shep says in his confessional or talking head that he is certain that her parents and grandparents and everybody wants them to be together.

[Chris Patterson Rosso]

I think she responded to that on Instagram. I can't remember what it was, but.

[Gabe Gonzalez]

Oh yeah, she did.

Are you serious right now? Nobody wants that. Yeah, I think that Taylor and Gaston are super cute together and they know how to play pickleball.

Yeah, but, but her comment, her comment that she made on Instagram was, I'm gonna pop off here for a second publicly. Let me shout it out from the mountaintops that both my parents, my grandparents, and even my recently late grandfather all couldn't be happier that I've moved on and I'm in a much better, happier and healthier relationship. So this comment sends me, what planet do you live on, bro?

Well, he lives on his own planet, that's for sure.

Well, I mean, because Shep's relationship has quite the age gap. It's 18 years.

I know.

And Taylor and Gaston are two years apart.

A villain or. And I'm like, really, dude? I think he's a good looking guy. So I don't know, I just didn't like it. It made me think, like he still had a thing for Taylor.

I think so too. And I think he's probably jealous, and I think he's probably not feeling 100% confident in his relationship with Deanna. It's like projecting his insecurities. But I do want to know, like, Taylor, can you show us your. With your family, like, and type in Shep and show us what comes up?

Oh, my God.

We really need to know.

Here's another guy that made me want to punch him in the face multiple times. Oh, my God. I identify as Rich.

Well, we're at JT's rental property, the Ends. He says it's the largest Airbnb property in downtown Charleston. He doesn't.

Oh, he doesn't. I thought he said he did identify as rich.

He doesn't identify as rich, but he's well off with his eight other Airbnb properties.

[Chris Patterson Rosso]

Yeah, well, he's doing well if he's got eight properties.

JT's mom and sister are both painters, so he commissioned a piece from them that represents the Charleston marsh. His mom and sister can't believe that he handed Miss Patricia a cane. They recommend he writes an apology letter. I'm like, send a carrier pigeon. Do whatever, anything.

[Chris Patterson Rosso]

But this guy has zero awareness. Like, self awareness. I mean, get off your ass, go to your desk, and start writing that apology letter to Ms. Patricia now.

[Gabe Gonzalez]

Also, write one down.

[Chris Patterson Rosso]

Well, you know, he's gonna that up. He's gonna that up that letter up so bad. I don't think he even. I. This guy is.

But know what's weird is that, like, when you watch his mom and sister, they seem, like, regular.

[Chris Patterson Rosso]

Well, that's what I was thinking. When I watch it, I'm like, I'd rather have his mom and his sister on the show than him. Does someone like him? That's so annoying. Good for the show or is it too much? Like, just go.

[Gabe Gonzalez]

Well, I think that's what we're. That's what we saw last week with Shep and Craig at that golf place with him. You could tell they didn't even want to listen to him. They're like, why are you guys making us film with him?

He's super annoying, and that's the problem. Like, he's so annoying.

And I think the writing's on the wall because you piss off. Like, we have to Remember, Whitney and Ms. Patricia are a part of the people that started this show.

And by the way, Whitney pissed them off.

I'm just going to piss off the whole cast. By now, I thought, Whitney gives me the creeps.

Because, like, that kind of shit I can't forget. But then we get Molly getting ready for her rehearsal. She plays the miniature tuba. I like Molly's story. I like Molly.

I do. I mean, we find out a little bit more about Molly. She's adopted by two attorneys and plays a trombone. Or the euphonium. I've never even heard of it, but it's a trombone. And she moved back in with her parents to be home with them or AKA to be on a reality TV show.

Over at Madison's house, Brett mentions that he needs to see a specialist. We learned that he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer toward the end of last year. The cancer is gone, but now he's having complications. Madison is very emotional, interconfessional, saying they can't catch a break. Anything triggers her at this point, especially the topic of having kids. This broke my heart. Like, they're such a cute family, and it's like she found her happiness. And he's so young. Have thyroid cancer that. That's. I never did. Was it talked about in the press when they were. When he was going through it?

I don't know. But, I mean, then she's even having to talk about how they're putting having another kid on hold because of it. And you see what a good stepdad he is to her son. And, like, you know, sometimes when you see scenes with kids, it feels totally fake. Like, we've never done this before. Yeah, this felt completely natural to me.

Well, little Hudson's so cute. And saying yes, ma'am to his mom, I just. Oh, my God. It has melted my heart. But I'm like, I hope Rhett's okay. That is just. You could see that he was uncomfortable. He was like. Like, clearing his throat like me. But, um, just so sad.
