No, I don't remember now. It's been a blur. The weekend, you know. I know it's a time change. I feel like.

Check it out. It's really, really good. So we had. Let's see, the house that we were in Verbo. The house was amazing. It was like.

Houses. We all had our.

It was a compound. It was literally like a house within a house and all these villas all around it. Very, very beautiful. It felt like Italy. A little bit like being in Italy. The vineyard was.

It was very Tuscan and the vineyards around and the. And the hawks just flying over. Oh, my God, it was beautiful.

It was. It really was a good time. There's a couple of headlines from last week that I Want to ask your opinion on.

So just recently, Salt Lake City, Brittany Bateman has been sued for. For maliciously failing to pay back her mother in law. $100,000 according to page Six.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

But I saw that and it seemed like it was for an elective. Am I wrong? Some type of like elective surgery or.

[Tamra Judge]

Well, let's see. It says Sandra Underwood, 87, filed a lawsuit on May 6, 2025. I know. Against Britney, alleging failure to repay a hundred thousand dollars. The funds were deposited and an integrity trust established in 2019 by Bateman's father. Bateman and her mother were trustees. Her mother passed. Sandra claims that at Bateman's urgent she deposited 100,000 into the trust, understanding she can withdraw it at any time. However, it looks like she pulled it all out and so now she wants her money back. So the lawsuit seeks repayment of 100,000 plus interest and attorney fees and she has not responded. So Brittany has not responded to this. Nothing to be said.

What was the money for though? I don't know. Why?

[Tamra Judge]

Did you see it was for something?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Yeah, I don't know. I could be wrong. Where would I have seen that? It just came up and I was like, oh, that's weird. That's a lot of money for something like that.

[Tamra Judge]

But, well, just reading into it, her mother's having some. Or her mother, ex mother in law is having some health care problems. It looked like what this loan was like six years ago when she was married to her ex husband. And now she's having some money problems. The mother in law. And now she's like, hey, about that money you borrowed from me, I need it back.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

That's typically when you ask for it back when you need it. But a loan is just that. It is a loan. When you borrow money, pay it back. Oh, I go and get your hair done, your nails done, or buy clothes or go on a vacation.

[Tamra Judge]

She's having problems making ends meet. So there. Yeah. Hopefully she does the right thing. Another. Another headline that kind of put me in a tailspin. I think we touched on a little bit about this, but Erica Jane and Jesse Solomon hooking up at what after a watch what happens live tape.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I don't think that we touched on this enough. Like bring it, Tamara. So bring it, girl.

So they reportedly hooked up after a recent watch what happened live taping. The pair had been seen engaging in playful flirting during the upfronts. Now, I did not See, in. I was there. I was at the actual upfront. I did not see any playful flirtation. I saw them talking. I saw them taking a picture together.

Enough to know. Yeah, but if there was playful flirting, you would have already told us.

[Tamra Judge]

First of all, how did this information get out? How did it get out?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

He told.

Yeah, I'm not clear on that. I don't know if he told somebody that told somebody.

Especially 30 year old boys.

Boys kiss and tell. And who wouldn't want to brag about being with Erika James, Right? I mean, the living Barbie. Yeah, let's. I am sorry, but I want to brag for him.

I'm hoping that she addresses it with. With Teddy when they do their podcast next. And you know, Teddy's gonna get to. She's gonna get the bottom.

Already gotten to the bottom of it. We just have to wait to hear what Teddy has to say.

Yeah, and. And if she did, like screw him for, you know, I mean, or I should say shame on him for leaking it.

Well, if he did something that she's not happy with, I feel sorry for him because he's going down.

Yes. And also just Jesse has a little thing for Sierra, who Wes used to date. So there is a little bit of competition. We're coming up with all kinds of.

That's so funny you say that. They used to say that about Vicki all the time. Like, the homeless were like, stop screaming. So they're planning a trip. Kelly's trying to have Shamia guess. Nope, nope, nope, nope. And then she says, it's in Grenada. Grenada. And I'm like, where the hell is that? Grenada?

Grenada.

I don't know.

All I know about Grenada is there is a medical school there.

You know, it's like I've never even heard of it, but now I have, so I'm excited to see what their trip looks like. And then they get on the phone and call somebody. Now, these are the newbies pretty much. Well, she's been around, but she's officially a housewife this year. These are the newbies. Planning. Planning the trip. So the newbies have the trip this season?

Well, it's. Well, it's. It's Kelly and Shamia. But the reason you have to understand is I've. I've hosted most finales and most trips is because you need somebody that gets along with every middle person. You got to bring. You got to have two people that could bring the two worlds together.

Is that why I never host a trip?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I have hosted one, I think.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Okay. For 17 years. That's not bad.

[Tamra Judge]

So they get on the phone with somebody over there and asking what they need. Obviously, they. They're in need of supplies, and these girls are going to help out as well. So then we go to Portia, and she's meeting her real estate agent to look at houses. I didn't know that Portia, that's some house that was somehow. So that. I'm assuming the house that she's in right now is Simon. The house that her and Simon have.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Had together has to be sold for whatever reason.

[Tamra Judge]

Yeah, well, I think she's getting closer to her court date. How's that going to work? Isn't he still detained?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

He's getting deported. So how, like he's not going to get undetained?

[Tamra Judge]

No, no, he's getting deported. So keep everything, Portia, just keep the house.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Does that mean you get to keep it all? And anyway, I'm just curious, what did he come with? Did he have money? I.

[Tamra Judge]

It. I think so. At least it looked like it. It's hard to tell sometimes on these shows because people like to act rich. And the ones that are really rich don't even try to act rich.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

He had a lot of medals. He had like a lot of medals in a uniform. I don't know what those medals signify.

[Tamra Judge]

I don't.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Not so sure. I know they flew private. I know that they were in the. You know, I heard she's driving a.

[Tamra Judge]

Rolls Royce, isn't she?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Yeah, but that could have been from her naked hair. But here's the thing. He was. Him and her, I do know this firsthand, were very much in love. And what is it called? Kiki and kissing and kicking, making out. And they were on a vacation together and they were very much in love. And shortly after they get broken up. So I. I'm not sure what happened.

[Tamra Judge]

I think it was. I'm not positive, but just. I'm read. I think it was all of his kind of maybe shady business dealings. Is. Is potentially allegedly what went down. And she was like, what the hell? Like she said she'd go to the airport and then he would get detained. And, you know, she was like, what the hell's going on? And I don't know. I don't know all of it, but I know I. What I do know is I think she's still very, very upset about it. And I think that that's what we're seeing.

Well, that's what I'm saying, because I don't think she saw it coming.

They were away together, they were kissing, they were very much in love. It was almost like described to me as a honeymoon, like vacation with the way they were with each other. And then next thing you know, this is what we hear. So she could have very well been blindsided.

[Tamra Judge]

Yeah, that's what I think. And I think that that's what we're seeing this season is she's just, there's nothing worse than being surprised because I feel like she's not being herself. Well, I'm gonna get to that in a little bit.

But she did say, which is very important for all of us to hear. She. What was the word she used? She took care of business. This time she was not going to be left high and dry like the last time she got divorced.

[Tamra Judge]

Yeah, she, she said she handled her business so she wouldn't handle the same position as she was during her previous marriage. I was hoping that they were going to show a flashback of her ex husband. The first one when she first started.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Wasn'T he a football player or something?

[Tamra Judge]

He was a ball player. I can't remember who he was. Like, I don't remember like what he looked like. She started Cordell Stewart.

But I don't remember what he looked like.

I wanted to either. But whatever it is, she's come so far and the fact that she did not let herself vulnerable to be in that position again is such a lesson for all of us because she was in love with this man.

I don't want to say that about the guy, because they did show him, but, you know, there was a blanket hanging on the window, and the. The shades were ripped.

And, I mean, if it was me and I was trying to sell that house, I would make sure it's in perfect condition. I would stage it.

I mean, the pool in the backyard was bad. At one of the houses. I'm like, what is she doing?

He's an older man. He's not about, like, doing. Playing it up for the camera. But I do believe that he does care for her.

This needed to be addressed, and they did it in such a way where they kind of downplayed what it was and let her just apologize for it, but they didn't show what it was. So she apologized for something most people didn't see or didn't. Don't know about. If they're just tuning in. So if you don't know the history of it. They really sugarcoated all of it and which was good because we want.

Well, I think in the past, she never admitted that she actually did that. And I feel like how she talked about it, you know, with, you know, on camera was more like, you know, I regret how things went down. So to me, it made me look like she was taking accountability for it. But I might be wrong.

Whatever it was, it was enough. Because really, it's. You know, there's like kind of like it's so long ago, nobody wants to hear about it anymore. It's a debt issue. Like, why bring it? Why make it a thing? We want her on the show. We do want to see what she's going to do with this, and we don't want to drag out the past past. This didn't happen yesterday. This is eight years ago. So, like, I think Housewives fans and Bravo universe is really sick of people dragging out so much of a past. Like, I'm not talking like, last year. I'm talking like, when you go back 10 years, it's almost annoying at this point. Point.

It's like. It's like thirsty, hungry, that screams like, do we have anything else to talk About.

So it's the. So she's like, oh, she's selling hot dogs. And she goes. She's sitting on the hot dogs. They certainly have a big love for food on this show.

Yeah. I mean, Phaedra is not holding back in her first scene. We didn't get to see a lot of Phaedra, but what we saw about Phaedra's got us all excited. Nobody throws shade like Phaedra. No one does.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I did not know that.

Oh, you didn't? Oh, no, she. Oh, she knows what she's doing.

I mean, I didn't know. Like, I just want to be Phaedra.

I know. And poor Drew, she can't catch a break. She really can. I don't think anybody seemed like she cares, but I don't really think anybody in this cast is. Really likes her, and that's a horrible place to.

True. She's on an island on her own, for sure. I think that Angela tried in the beginning. Angela certainly did try to stick up for her and went after Shamia for her. Remember, back in the gym, Angela did try to come, but I don't think Drew really connects with anybody. And I. Well, yeah, for sure. But I also don't see a big connection with Angela, who's Angela's friend. I always feel like Angela's fighting for herself.

Well, we have the trip. We have the trip coming up.

So let's see who actually see where the alliances lie.

Yeah. Because, you know, they change all the time, but sometimes it should.

There shouldn't be teams, but I just feel like nobody's ever on Drew's side, and nobody's ever on Angela's side. But I also feel like Angela did try to be on Drew's side, and Drew just didn't reciprocate in the beginning. You know what I'm saying?

Well, I'm just happy to know that Phaedra is going on the cast trip.

You guys got like 12 episodes, right?

15 with a reunion, so. And I don't know, I wonder why. Never gave a good reason. He was just always like, it's just how I do it.

Yeah, it's weird how they do certain shows a certain way. And like, right now I feel like it's pretty standard for 17 episodes. A shorter season is better because there's no filler episodes. But they're also what they're doing now, which is kind of new, is they're doing extended versions of the episodes. So instead of like, they're super sized. So instead of, you know, 45 minutes and then you add commercials, it's like an hour and 15 minutes or something like that. So it's kind of, you know, as talent, not the best thing you get. You don't get any more money for that. But it's. They're super sizing these. Oh, yeah.

That's something pretty new. Yep. So. So there she's going on the trip. I can't wait. We're gonna get to see Phaedra in five episodes and then the reunion.

I want more Phaedra. Yes. So a few fan thoughts. Sarah Shipley says, I feel so embarrassed for Angela. It seems like Charles has no feelings for it all. Busy B241 can't wait for Phaedra to meet the other ladies. Cam Hall. One Brits event with Sam. So weird. Why did they golf? Did anyone get food and then talk about it? I know Morgan, CC210 need more Phaedra. So I feel like everybody kind of feels the same way that we feel.

Cynthia said that Phaedra did more in two weeks than people did in the whole season. So I can only imagine.

[Tamra Judge]

So only did. Seriously, she only filmed two weeks. I mean, she must have two weeks. Holy hell.

Listen. And a lot can get done in two weeks. That's a lot. That's. So you figure two weeks, they film six days, six days out of the week. Right.

She probably filmed every single day.

So if she filmed every single day, I can only imagine she came back and she put on a show. She never disappoints Ms. Phaedra, the Queen of everything.

She does not. She's. She came straight from Married to Medicine. So that's finished.

Married to Medicine to. From what I understand, she did not show up at the reunion. She left the finale, I believe. She did not finish filming with them.

Yeah, that's what I heard. I honestly, I've never been one to watch Marriage Medicine. It's never.

I absolutely watched it for Phaedra. And you know what? It's so funny because Phaedra was not herself there. It's funny because the. The environment that you're in is what will bring out whatever it is in you. You know what I mean?

Like, yeah, is Married to Medicine as shady and controversial and a lot of fighting like Housewives is.

Yes, it's up there. It's just that they're not as well known as housewives. But yeah, they. They're. They. They do bring it, but they just don't have the.

I kind of thought maybe because they're doctors and they have this. This very professional career that maybe they couldn't get as deep and shady as.
