Well, my hair, I. I dried the front end, but the back is still wet. And I'm wearing the glasses because there's no makeup here. Same.

Well, I can't because I can't see and there's no makeup.

Yeah. So I'm headed to the green screen to film the after show today. We didn't do that last year. So excited about doing that. I think that's fun.

Yeah.

So at this point, it's, like, fun. It's snarky. You can be snarky.

And so I was. I'm assuming, like, they show you clips or something, because I don't know what people film. I only know what I. I don't know. Well, I guess we'll see.

Have you ever filmed the after show?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I did. We got canceled from the after show because we. It was one of our punishments before we got canceled. So the first chopping block thing that. The first thing on the chopping block was you guys aren't behaving now. We're taking the after show for. From you, which is usually fun, and you're usually paired with someone who you get along with. So who would that be for you?

[Dolores]

Well, I got Gina and Emily with me.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Okay.

[Dolores]

I thought it was gonna be mean Heather, but that's good. I like the switch up. I like Gina, and so we'll be fine.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I like to see with them.

[Dolores]

Heather is not as snarky as I am, so maybe they want the two other snarky girls. So the three of us.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

The three students. Yes. That's gonna be a good one. I'll. I'll tune in for that.

We didn't do it last year. I don't even know if we did the year before. I can't remember. I think it's been literally years since I did it. And the last time I did it was with Gina.

[Tama]

Yeah, no, I love Gina. Love her.

Yeah, she's sweet. So we are going to recap. Real Housewives of Miami Season 7, Episode 7. It was quite a doozy. I was shook. I don't know how I feel. I don't know how the audience and the viewer like the our followers are going to. Who they're going to side with because it's kind of nasty on both sides. But did it take it to another level? We'll get to that. But after the show starts off, oh, my gosh, my heart was just melting. They introduced Adriana Alexia to her. Their adopted beautiful boy.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I have to say, Martina looks so much younger.

[Dolores]

Oh, I just got children. I got children.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

And I'm not saying that because Julia said it. She's like, she's like so young with them and running around with them. But it feel, I feel, feel like besides the fact that now she's doing much better. I know, health wise. But these kids have brought a life in her and she's so good with them.

[Dolores]

I know. And did you notice under her breath, one of the boys said something in a scene and it just made me tear up. And Martina says to him, I'll always be here for you.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Yes.

[Dolores]

Oh, I melted. I melted. And I know she's getting a lot of on social media right now because of the surrogacy comment she made. She said on social media, she put this in writing, Sarah, surrogacy is wrong sometimes. You can't have it all.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

She's allowed to have her own opinion. She is entitled to her own opinion.

[Dolores]

But you know how the social media.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Gets and starts and they're entitled to their opinion.

[Dolores]

So do you think that maybe she was saying that because she thinks maybe there's so many kids that need homes that you should adopt first? Is that you think maybe that's her message? I mean, I can't speak for her, but I'm like, you know, some people actually want to carry their own child. They want to feel that and they can't, so they need help. I don't see anything wrong with it.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I don't see anything wrong with it either. I don't know that she explained what she meant by that. And what else could she mean other than there's so many children that need home.

[Dolores]

That's the only thing I can think of because it doesn't make any sense.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

To me, but it wasn't the wrong. It wasn't the right thing. It probably wasn't the right. No, it. Not probably. It was not the right thing to say. And, I mean, I didn't really like.

[Dolores]

It that she said that I didn't like it at all now.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

So she doubled down on it. She did.

[Dolores]

Shit.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

So Adrian her, then.

[Dolores]

Yeah, it is. Adriana and Alexia are there to visit with the boys, and we get to see a little glimpse of the old Adriana, the snarky, bitchy one that, you know, like.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Oh, he likes the reason. The reason everyone hates her. Yeah, yeah, we.

[Dolores]

We get to see it now. She is back.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

It must have been that young day that got her maybe. Maybe kill herself again.

[Dolores]

So Julia gets a call from Karama Brown, and he invites her and the other ladies, the housewives, to the national LGBTQ+ task force. It's a beautiful event, but I. The fact that Adriana was so hungry and nasty at that moment, like, oh, the boys like me better. And I'm like, I don't bring gifts. Like, you know, first of all, you should have brought a damn gift. I mean.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Yeah, no, Alexia is very maternal. Adriana, you just, like, it was wrong to act the way that you did, and that's it.

[Dolores]

I think it was wrong. But the boys, they're not missing out on anything because they got Balenciaga shirts on. One of them did. I'm like, oh, they're already.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

They did take the eggs, and they were, you know, one had the go on the leash. I couldn't have loved this more. I think we needed this lightheartedness after all the crap going on. And this is all about you.

[Dolores]

Remember, Martina wasn't really into the farm in the very beginning, but now I think this is an amazing place for the boys.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Yes.

[Dolores]

So I think she's going to be all about it now.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Those kids are beautiful. They hug.

When they hugged Alexia when she walked in, like, she melted.

So did I. Oh, it was just such a good. It was the only time in probably housewife history that I wanted to see more of the kids. Normally, I'm not.

No.

I really don't really want to see the kids. I really don't. So this was, like, a really great moment. So we find out Marisol has her first colonoscopy at 57. Not very smart, you guys. You shouldn't wait that long.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

You.

[Dolores]

Terry debrow just did something on social media saying. They say you only need one every five to 10 years, but I recommend you get one more often. You can never be, you know, too sure that or you know, something's not going on.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Colon cancer is becoming prevalent in younger people these days, so please be careful. If you have any symptoms, you need to see the doctor right away. Look it up. It's a thing. They're finding it in people in their 20s. So please pay attention to your body and anything that may be going on with you down there. Don't be embarrassed.

[Dolores]

I have an appointment tomorrow with the gastrologist, and I have a feeling I'm going to be scheduled for a colonoscopy.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I'm sure you are, but I've had them.

[Dolores]

I've had three.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

It's the right thing to do, so. And if you don't know someone who hasn't gone, that's of age, which I think it's. The age is what now? And it's 40. Early 40s. Go. Yeah, you need to go. You have to make people go. Yeah, just go.

[Dolores]

It's the prep that sucks. The actual procedures.

[Adriana]

Oh, it's painless.

[Dolores]

Or your burns. One or the other.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Well, you feel clean.

[Dolores]

So Adriana. Adriana has to be snarky and says, I didn't know. I didn't think Julia was at Marisol's ass.

Maricel tells Stephanie, now they get into that Rolls Royce. I'm assuming it's Stephanie's Rolls Royce, right?

It's got its own little bar in there. Marisol tells her all about. Oh, my God. I. I don't have one. I wouldn't know. I would not know. Nor would I need a bar in my car. It just doesn't.

I'm good as long as I had Diet Coke and I'm happy.

Yeah. I mean, I have a refrigerator in my Range Rover. That's about as good as it gets.

Oh, wait, Melissa got a commercial too, with her doing what?

They're like in a beauty salon. They're getting their hair done and it's for. I. I don't remember what it was.

Oh, it's so good of a commercial. You don't remember what the product was?

No, because I'm like, crazy right now. But, yeah, I just. No, I know. I just like their dresses. I like the whole, like, look. It was.

Well, good for them. Congratulations. Now Julia thinks she and Gertie are doing way better after the Greek goddess, AKA narcissist party. Well, we find out that Gertie doesn't think the same.

Well, they always come up. And you know what? It's when you least expect it, it's like, didn't we already kill this?

You could predict the weather better than you can predict how fans handle something in any other place in time. This is how things are changing. Like, things. Things are shifting in the Bravo world and in any other time. Any woman who would still be with the man that did this to her, outwardly and having. Unapologetically. I'm still in love. I'm still sleeping with him. He walked out in front of my son the way he did. The boy was truly upset. Lovely Frankie. Things were done so egregiously, and she still. No one's going really after her. No. Mean. Which I don't want anyone to be mean. I'm not judging her. I'm not a judger. But, like, so you feel like people.

[Dolores]

Don'T really have an opinion about it.

I. I don't see it. Am I missing it?

Yeah. I think it's maybe because he's not filming, so we don't see him. But.

What? Like, even the girls and everybody cried for her and with her, and they're like, not, like, hold her hand to the fire on this. I don't get it. I know Stephanie.

Stephanie is. Marisol is not excited because she finds out that they were together last night. Now, I think that Alexia is kind of hiding this in the sense that she doesn't want the other girls to know. But she ran into Julia while she was with Todd. They hung out. They made out. They touched private parts. I'm sure a lot went down.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

They do a lot of that PDA stuff. We don't do that here. Like.

[Dolores]

Oh, my God. A funny story. I had a meeting yesterday at the house, and Eddie came downstairs. My girlfriend was with me, and Eddie came down and kissed me. And she goes, what? Did you guys just see each other for the first time today? And he's like, that was weird. Like, is it weird that I came down and kissed you like that? Like, if I hadn't seen.

Yeah, don't do it around me. So they're at this party. The women are having fun. They're talking very loudly. There's a guy on stage trying to talk. They are talking over him. That. I hate that. With a passion.

I don't like that. You know, with the worst time I've ever seen that done. When New York, old New York was at a domestic violence. No charity. And the women were up talking about their. Their stories that would actually eviscerate anybody. I was very new as a housewife, and I called producers and I said, I cannot be around this ever. I am watching this. This is so bad. To me, there was no empathy. There was no. Not. I mean, like, don't do it.

[Dolores]

It's like. It's just.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

That was bad. Forget it.

[Dolores]

Inconsiderate. It's like being at the movie theater and the guy next to you, like, trying to open up his damn candy and making all this noise and eating his pot. And I just. I literally. My skin crawls to the point where I either have to move, but nowadays you can't move because you have assigned seats and. Or, like, karate chalk them. Chop him right in the Adam's apple. Like, I. That just drives me nuts. Like, have some consideration with. For people around you.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Well, that's just it. That's. Yeah, yeah, it's rough.

[Dolores]

So 72 hours later, at Gertie Celebration of Life, here we are. Gertie looks amazing in this white over the top.

Everybody.

Everybody that walked in was like, this is a wedding gown. Like, this is insanity.

[Adriana]

This is beautiful.

[Dolores]

So all the girls get there. Stephanie says the Greek narcissist party was for Todd. This is where she gets really ballsy. Now, I don't even know that Stephanie has even met Todd.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

She hasn't.

[Dolores]

So it's really, like, kind of obnoxious that she keeps talking about him when she's never even met him.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

See, I'm gonna go back to how things are changing in this world. Had this been another housewife, new housewife at another time, people would be like, oh, you're trying too hard.

[Dolores]

Yeah, yeah.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Not being received well. But she seems to be received well. That's the thing, Sam. You know what I'm saying, like, I think.

[Dolores]

Because she just owns it and doesn't give a. Now, I think if Marisol was saying this to her, it would hit differently, because Marisol knows her and she knows Todd, and she knows what she went through. But it's Stephanie, somebody that doesn't even really know Todd. Just. She's new to the group. Now, Alexia, I felt bad for. She disagrees and says it was for all of them. And Stephanie looks at her because Alexia says, we're all narcissists. And Stephanie goes, she.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

And then that's when Alexia said she had enough at that point. And she's like, speak for yourself.

[Dolores]

Yeah. She's like, including you. And I'm like, oh. Like, she. To me, it just sounded like the insults.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

She's coming. She's coming for the OG that's what.

[Dolores]

I was going to say. The insults are just rolling off her tongue. The girl is so quick.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

She's getting away with it, though. What is the. What are these girls afraid of? Because somebody new on the scene coming out, they're going to pay for that.

[Tama]

[Teddi Mellencamp]

She would still be paying for telling Lisa she has no right being late. I'd be like, stephanie, I don't punch your clock, bitch. You got to be kidding me. But I will punch something. You keep it up in my face, right? I'm, like, sitting here saying, girls, where's your balls? Find them. Look down and find them. Do you housewife show if you don't have balls?

[Dolores]

Do you think they're a little afraid of her?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I don't know what the hell. Like, are they just not used to it, or are they shocked that it's coming out and they're not ready for it? But after the first time in that sprinter when she jumped on Lisa, I'll be ready for anything she's got to say, because you already know what kind of housewife she is coming into this. Yeah, well, bravo likes her.

[Dolores]

Yeah. So Alexia says, you know, this is just too much. You know, she's. She's like, I'm an empath, not a narcissist. And I agree with that. I think that. That Alexia has the biggest heart. She's always like, she. And she's not a texture. She will call you. She will talk to you. Like, when Teddy first got diagnosed and was in the hospital, she would call me, and because of what Frankie had gone through and give, you know, tell me all kinds of things and, you know, to pass on to the family and all this stuff. And she. She's just such A sweet person.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I do like him so much.

[Dolores]

Well, she finally has an Athens. Just says, don't talk about Todd. Do not talk about.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

It took so long.

[Dolores]

Yeah, I don't know.

Like, did you just get here? What the hell is going on? What are you girls letting this girl get away with this for? Let me see something. I don't want to see Texas on a screen from a year ago. I want to see you. Yeah, this girl.

Yeah. So Gertie makes this beautiful speech in her family leaves, and I have to give it to her because she had her children leave before she pulled this little stunt.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

The right thing to do. That is the right thing to do if you're going to do this. Remove the children.

[Dolores]

So she gets back on the stage with her phone and says she needs to set the record straight. And exposes. To expose. Lies. Everybody was like, huh? Gasp. What the heck? What is going on? All the girls are like, oh, they ran.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

They ran. Marisol seemed to be bothered and the most vocal about it.

[Dolores]

Yeah. So she was. She was pissed off. Gertie gets this projection screen and their screenshots of her text conversation with Julia.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

So they all ran out. They all run out except for Lisa.

[Dolores]

I think Lisa stayed, Adriana stayed, and Kiki stayed. The other ones, I mean, they stuck around for a little bit, but they start reading the screenshots and they're like, this is dirty. Like, this is dirty. What is she doing? Is it more dirty because it's at a cancer event? If it was somewhere else, would it been different? Is it comparable to getting water thrown in your face? Like, I'm curious to see what the fans are going to think because.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Well, we don't know what the fans are going to think, but. But it was not. Apparently, Jen Fessler was there. Yeah. So I think she could give us more insight. You have to understand, we're just seeing, you know, that minute of it or whatever. It wasn't a cancer event. It was a celebration of life for. For Gertie. And I think that this is gertie. She's saying 2.0, and I'm going to show you now how. I don't. I don't take things anymore. I don't remember her ever taking shit from anyone, do we?

No, I don't think so.

I mean, I've never seen her as a wilted flower running around. No, she always stuck up for herself. But the girls did. Did take their stand on who they stood behind on this or whether it was who they stood behind or what they believed. In what she did. But everybody universally said I'll never text again. And Alexia said that's why I don't text. Yeah, these things happen.

But I would never text Shannon Bedor ever again. Any information, you know, somebody does that, fuck off.

Well, I. I mean, I understand her frustration because there's nothing worse than being called a liar when you're telling the truth. So I understand Gertie's frustration, but I don't think 100. 100. But I don't think this. I don't think this is the place. This is not the place to do it is how I feel. And editors didn't do her any justice by showing that first scene, introducing her children. Very soft, sweet moment. And now Gertie's coming in. Had they done this right after she had water thrown in her face, I think it would land differently.

I was expecting her to do something, but I think after the throwing the water, she thought, oh, shit, that was too much.

She was on the cruise.

I did. I did two cruises with Gertie, so the first one, two nights apiece. So went on the first one, and then I got lucky enough to go on the second one. Gertie and I and Adriana, we hung out on the first one, and then the second one, Gertie came back with Julia.

[Dolores]

Okay. And you were at the event.

[Jen Fessler]

I was at. I was on the cruise, so.

[Dolores]

Oh, so. But weren't you at the event last night, too?

[Jen Fessler]

Oh, yes, I was at. I was also. So Gertie and I became close.

[Adriana]

Okay.

[Jen Fessler]

So the time we spent on the cruise, we became very close. She invited me to her Celebration of Life party.

[Dolores]

Okay. Okay.

[Jen Fessler]

So I was there.

[Dolores]

So you were there, and she invited.

[Jen Fessler]

And Dolores. She wanted Dolores there, too, but Dolores couldn't make it, unfortunately.

I was getting my. No. Why? I was getting some type of plastic.

I don't know if you sent. You gave me a great gift.

I was kidding. Sometimes. So let me ask you a question. Now, if you blink, nobody would have saw you on the.

No, no. I had. I heard she was at the party.

I wasn't invited, you know, to be. For any kind of crossover reason. Right. Which was so sweet. I wanted to be there for it, and I did talk to the cast, but it wasn't anything. I wasn't in the middle of the chaos at all. So I was really more just hanging out, you know, whatever. Just with Gertie and. But there was no drama. There was. There was drama. I was next to drama, but thankfully, I wasn't part of drama.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Can you guess for a change?

[Dolores]

Can you tell us. I know, right? Can you tell us about the drama? Is there anything we didn't get to see?

[Jen Fessler]

No, I don't think there's really anything that you missed. Listen, Gertie did what she felt like she had to do, so I was there. I can give you guys, like, a little more insight to the cruise as opposed to the party, because I think.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

You. Sure.

[Jen Fessler]

I guess all of it. So I'm on the cruise now. It's in between cruises. I get this call from Gertie. I'm coming back. Julia called me. Martina can't go. I'm thrilled because her and I. Her and I were whooping it up the first time. So she's. She got back and it was actually. It's called the Celebrity Ascent. So as soon as she got back, there was, like, the. The launch party or whatever it is for it. And I got, like, immediately got a text from her. I hadn't even seen her yet. The second time around, where are you? I think she maybe, like, had a bad feeling about it. I don't know why, but trying to find me. I was trying to find her, but I could just tell something was off. And we hung out that night and the whole next day, which I was thrilled about, but she did not even hear a thing. So she was there to be with Julia. And as the day progressed, she was progressively upset.

[Dolores]

Where was Julia at?

[Jen Fessler]

I, I, she was doing some, I guess, PR stuff. I, I don't know. But so it was, it was me, it was Jeff, it was Gertie, and I mean, she didn't even get, like, a check in, so. Which, you know, she told me she was there. She got back from the first cruise and felt like Julia really needed her, left. The boys left, Russell repacked, came back and didn't even hear from her all day. And I guess that Julia had a dinner with Captain Sandy, so a captain's dinner. And Martina was supposed to be there. Obviously, Martina didn't make it. So Gertie, I guess, said, what's going on for dinner? Right. Right now, I'm not, I don't remember how it went down exactly.

[Dolores]

Well, you would think that Gertie would be invited to this dinner, right?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

It's not a place of martini. What time are. What time are you. Yeah.

[Jen Fessler]

Thank you. And I guess that Julia said, there's no room for you at the table. I am quoting. I'm not. You know, this was a ways back.

[Dolores]

But you were there, so you.

[Jen Fessler]

I was there with. I was there and I was there, and Gertie was so upset, not because she was like, I want to go to the cat, but more like, did I sign up for this for.

[Dolores]

Well, it's like, why do you want me here?

[Jen Fessler]

Correct.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Right.

[Jen Fessler]

And so, and her other, the other part of it was like, what do you mean? So she had, I guess she had met Captain Sandy, like, the day before, and she's like, why wouldn't she want me there? We're all like part of the Bravo family, and you can't pull up a chair. It was very strange.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

So I'm surprised. I mean, I don't think that there was a reason she shouldn't, a valid reason for her not to be there other than Julia didn't want her there.

[Jen Fessler]

I mean.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Well, I don't know what happened from the time they got on the boat together to her not being invited to the captain's dinner. There's a gap that we don't know about.

[Jen Fessler]

No, ma', am.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

But. Okay. But this is more information than we had before.

[Dolores]

Well, all this changes my mind because watching the episode, you. You know, it starts out with her two little beautiful boys and such a sweet moment and all this. And then it's like. Then all of a sudden, Gertie's flashing these text messages up at a, you know, celebration of life party. And you're like, okay, that was a dick move.

[Jen Fessler]

I think that Gertie felt like, you know, she was ready to let it go, but Julia threw the water. I think she felt very alone in that moment. First of all.

[Dolores]

Yeah.

[Jen Fessler]

And then at the Narcissist GRE goddess event, I think she felt like Julia was poking her again and, you know, like, there was only so much that she could take and really wanted to get the truth out. So. I mean, listen, guys, I love Gertie, but she doesn't pay my mortgage. I'm not going to lie for her. You know, it's like.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Right, right, right. No, you're just telling facts.

[Jen Fessler]

Yeah, I'm just telling you how it went down. Well, then at one point. So now dinner was over. It was later. Jeff and Gertie and I were, like, in this bar area. Julia came down, but clearly things were not good. They were tense. And then we ended up going to Gertie's. Gorgeous. They had, like, a room, like a loft and whatever. This beautiful, you know.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Did they share a room?

[Jen Fessler]

Yes, but they had. I guess it was. There was a loft. Okay.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

But still, they had to be in the same room after all.

[Jen Fessler]

And then.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I can never share a room.

[Jen Fessler]

There was a hot tub that Gertie and I went into. And I mean, we just laughed for.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Like, she's going in a different direction for us.

[Jen Fessler]

Julie, like, came down for a minute, went back up. What did you say, Dolores?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I said, this is going in a totally different direction.

[Jen Fessler]

Right, right.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Yeah.

[Jen Fessler]

No, I'm sorry. I'm not that cool.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

But.

[Jen Fessler]

But we had a great time. I mean, we were just. It was just.

So Julia was there? She didn't join you guys? She came down.

No, it was not good at that point. It was not good.

When you were in the hot tub, did you sense any kind of tension or anything?

[Jen Fessler]

I knew that there was tension. I didn't have to sense it. Gertie was devastated. So the entire day, I think she was like. She was just shocked. I think she was shocked. She was certainly shocked about the dinner, but just as shocked that she didn't hear from Julia all day, that she had packed her stuff up, turned around because Julia needed her, and Julia disappeared.

[Dolores]

How long was his cruise?

[Jen Fessler]

Two nights.

[Dolores]

Okay, so short cruise. How did it end?

[Jen Fessler]

I mean, listen, I knew how upset she was with Julia, but certainly, you know, I wasn't getting involved in that. I'm here in New Jersey. I've got enough to get involved in here. So I just knew she was upset. I felt terrible for her. She was really disappointed with how it went down, and she was pissed. I think put her over the edge, but.

[Dolores]

Oh, I bet.

[Jen Fessler]

But it started because the entire day, if I remember correctly, she didn't even get a message. How's it going? Are you okay? And she was supposed to be there with Julia, and Julia was gone.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

All right, well, that is. That's a good piece of information for us.

[Dolores]

It's a great piece of information. Now, my question is, why would Julia make a big deal out of this going into the season, as if Gertie did something wrong to her to get in front of it?

[Jen Fessler]

Your guess is. Is as good as mine, I can tell you.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Gertie irks her. She doesn't like her. She just.

[Dolores]

Either.

[Jen Fessler]

After that, I don't think that Gertie intended to go into the season and, you know, bring this all to light. I. I'm. I'm close with Gertie. She.

Who brought it up first?

[Jen Fessler]

I think Julia did. Right?

[Dolores]

I think Julia did. I. I might be mistaken, but I think Julia did.

They are definitely looking at this whole thing very differently. Clearly, Julia did bring it up, as a matter of fact. And Julia's. I remember Julia saying, oh, she brought. She made it all about her. She wanted pictures.

She wants it.

That's Gertie. You know that when you invite Gertie that she is going to be Gertie. Mm.

[Jen Fessler]

Listen, maybe I don't know what Julia would. I don't know what was going through Julia's head, but, you know, when I was with Gertie, we were literally sitting by the pool, down, you know, eating, getting drinks. There was no. Nobody was. There was no paparazzi, and we weren't looking for any.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I feel like Gertie was even confused starting the season on why Julia had a problem with her when in turn, she felt she should have had a problem with Julia. So now let's see, you know, now the next. I think.

[Jen Fessler]

I think that that's probably spot on.

[Tama]

Yeah.

So now let's see what the fans have to say, let's say.

But going back to the party that you were at.

It depends on how close I was with Gertie. And then everyone leaving shows you how close they're not with Gertie.

Well, I think when you do something publicly, to publicly shame somebody, that's where it gets lost in the. You know what I mean? Like, it just gets lost. Like, people are not gonna side with you. Listen, it's like. It's like the Kenyan Brit thing. Like, people wanted to leave that party. It felt dirty. That was a way worse, but it just felt dirty. And I think that's where Gertie went wrong. I think she should have maybe done it within the cast or just, I don't know, with one person. I don't know.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I think that Gurney felt a need to retaliate after she publicly shamed her. We're throwing the water in her face, and she. Listen, revenge is a dish best served cold. She waited for her time.

[Dolores]

Yeah.

To do it right. And it takes great restraint to really wait your time so that, you know, listen, like I said, let's see where this goes from here. Yeah.

So Stephanie Joy's and women outside says she wants to remain neutral, and she doesn't. You know, she wants to be Switzerland, which is weird because Stephanie has not been Switzerland at all this entire season. And being Switzerland on the show, do you think she has been Switzerland?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

No. It had no. Nothing to do with picking a side in a fight. She was picking her own fights. Yeah. So her. I agree with her, you know, I'm a big fan of having my own opinion, forming my own waiting for my own information, and then making a decision. No one's saying this was the best thing to do or this was the worst thing to do. Nobody's saying that here. She's just saying, I need to hear her side of the story. Like we just did. I need to hear her side of the story.

[Dolores]

Before, she didn't want to hear Todd's side of the story.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Well, we know Todd's side of the story.

[Dolores]

Well, I just want to say.

[Adriana]

But she's even.

[Dolores]

I don't know. I just feel like a new person. She's not staying neutral. I think she wants to get in the mix. And she sees all the other girls are walking out, and she's like, oh, this is my opportunity to go over here and go, like. Cause some, you know, problems. And it did. And Alexi's like, if Stephanie wants to kiss Gertie's ass, she should do that.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I think that Alexis. Alexia, jumped on that because she wanted to get her back for busting her balls since she stepped on.

[Dolores]

Yeah, for sure. And Stephanie tells her to shut the up.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Yeah. So that's what Stephanie. See, then I liked her.

[Dolores]

Yeah. And she's like, I'm just trying to understand this new friend group.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Okay, fair enough. And smart, by the way.

[Dolores]

But then she takes it to another level. She takes it to another level. She adds that maybe this is normal for Alexia because she was married to a crazy guy.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

If Stephanie wasn't having opinions the whole time about everything, you know, we would be calling her boring right now. But she's. She's had her own fights, and I. There's nothing wrong with. Why jump on just because everybody else is doing something? Why jump on it and do it when she has no idea about the dynamics of Gertie and Julia's friendship up until now, she has no idea of really any. Anybody yet. She's still finding her footing. So I give her credit for having. For marching to the beat of her own drum.

[Adriana]

Yep.

[Dolores]

Well, Adriana tells Julia not to run and that she should show her side of the story with her own text messages. And I'm like, no. Was no.

How many languages does Adriana speak?

[Dolores]

A lot. A lot.

[Dolores]

Well, she does. She's talked about it, and then she's.

It's French, Spanish, English. Like, she had a whole list.

Very impressive. Very, very, very impressive. But she was speaking to Julia in her native tongue. I know. And yeah, she speaks messy too, though.

Very messy. So everyone is. Is so appalled.

She's very well versed in messy. I think above all.

Well, she hasn't been messy up until now. I mean, what episode are we on? And she's. Yeah.

Oh, I mean, I thought you meant in the past. She's been. No.

God, she's always been messy. But now she's like, telling her. She's telling Julia to show her own text message. She's like, no. And everyone's appalled. And then there's Adrienne. Like, this is fun. Let's continue this. Your turn, Julia. Let's go. No, no. It was a big fat no for me. And then she walks away and she calls Martina and says in a very soft spoken voice, please stay awake.

She really. It was chilling and it was almost riveting the vibe I got from Julia when this was going down. I just want to let you guys know.

Yeah, well, I don't know that there's any text message to show because she showed both of them. She showed the text chain, so it's already been shown. So I don't know what Adriana thinks she's gonna show.

Well, she. I think she knows she's wrong. I think Julia knows that she's wrong with the. With what happened. So, listen, like I said, I'm dying to know. On that note, I'm going to leave it at this.
