Jenna Ushkowitz
I got my delivery, Kevin. I ripped it open.
Tamara Judge
I'm like a stickler now that I have kids. High quality products in our house all the time and Dietz and Watson has done that. So like I'm not afraid that when Emma wants to eat all my prosciutto, because she will, that it's okay for her to do that. Dietz and Watson has been handcrafting premium meats and artisan cheeses for over 85 years. They're family owned and operated and they never cut corners. Ever.
Teddy Mellencamp
They do things the right way, even.
Tamara Judge
If it's the hard way. They're transparent about what goes into their food and what doesn't. They know good taste doesn't need a long list of ingredients and they stick to what matters, using the fewest, highest quality ingredients to craft their meats and cheeses. Hi guys. Welcome to another episode of two T's in a Pod with myself, Teddy Mellencamp, Tamara Judge. Hey, Tam.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Hey, girl. What's up?
Teddy Mellencamp
How's it going?
Jenna Ushkowitz
It's going Good. Celebrated our 12 year wedding anniversary on Sunday.
Teddy Mellencamp
Get it? 12 years.
Jenna Ushkowitz
12 long years.
Teddy Mellencamp
12 long years.
Jenna Ushkowitz
And well, the day before that, we celebrated Spencer's 25th birthday.
Teddy Mellencamp
25Th birthday.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I know.
Teddy Mellencamp
And 12 years married.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Yep.
Teddy Mellencamp
Know what this tells me, Tam?
Jenna Ushkowitz
A lot of celebrating going on over the weekend. What? What does it tell you?
Teddy Mellencamp
We're old.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I know, Teddy. I know.
Teddy Mellencamp
We are getting up there.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Sophia is going to be 20 this year, Spencer's 2025, and Sydney's going to be 27. I'm not even going to talk about Ryan's age.
Teddy Mellencamp
We're not even going to talk. We're going to move right on from that. Yeah, well, I was like, kind of a mess this weekend, I got to tell you. Yeah, I, you know, I just really have been trying to like, I did kind of a post about it last night because my hair was growing and I was like, trying to find like a positive and everything that's going on, but I've been so emotional that I can't. I'm taking everything so personally. I'm like, I. I need to figure out how to like, put on blockers and not pay attention to what people say to me or do because I seriously have been on the verge of tears for like five days to you.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Are you reading stuff?
Teddy Mellencamp
No, it's actual humans in my life.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Like, like, you're super sensitive.
Teddy Mellencamp
Super sensitive. Like, if anybody gives me feedback on anything, instead of being just like, okay, I got it. I am like, yeah. What? I'm trying. I'm doing my hardest.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Well, you have a lot going on right now. And not to mention that your hormones are totally out of whack. Didn't you say since you've started immun therapy, you haven't had a period?
Teddy Mellencamp
Correct. And it's just, like, really getting to me. So if I sound a little emotional today, that's what's going on. Like, I don't. I ca. I want it to stop so badly.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Yeah. Is there. And there's nothing you can.
Teddy Mellencamp
There's nothing like that different. I mean, yesterday I got up in the morning, and I started feeling the same way again where, like, everything and everybody were making me emotional. So I, like, forced myself to take a little nap after I got the kids to camps and stuff, and I felt a little bit better. I honestly feel like I'm giving jags vibes. I'm like, the highs and the lows are so bad.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Well, give yourself some grace, girl.
Teddy Mellencamp
Oh, my gosh.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Because it's gonna. It's gonna pass. Because it's not your personality. I got to believe it's. You know, with everything that's going on and hormones and just. I know you're tired of this. You don't want to do this anymore. Like, you just want it to be all over with. And. And I know you like your.
Teddy Mellencamp
I can't control it.
Jenna Ushkowitz
You can't control it. You can't schedule it.
Teddy Mellencamp
No. And, like, every little thing that, like, Edwin or even the kids, like, kind of say to me, I can feel myself, like, thinking, teddy, you're not good enough. You need to figure things out.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Well, you are good enough. And there's nothing you have to figure out right now. There's nothing. Just.
Teddy Mellencamp
That's what my dad keeps saying.
Jenna Ushkowitz
He's like, nothing you have to figure out. You just have to, unfortunately, go through the emotions that you're going through and deal with the emotions you're dealing with. And it's okay to cry.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Jenna Ushkowitz
You're only human. And, you know. And, I mean, it's on the bright side. Your hair is growing back. Your immunotherapy is working.
Teddy Mellencamp
Tam, who would have thought that you were going to be the positive one and I was going to be the negative one?
Jenna Ushkowitz
I know. I mean, all the. The good things. You're dating, you know, so many in your life.
Tamara Judge
I have good friends.
Jenna Ushkowitz
You have good friends. You have a birthday coming up.
Teddy Mellencamp
Can you believe it? How old am I turning?
Jenna Ushkowitz
I think 44.
Teddy Mellencamp
44?
Jenna Ushkowitz
Yes.
Teddy Mellencamp
Oh, my gosh. I'm almost 45 years old.
Jenna Ushkowitz
And then when you're 45, you just round it off to 50.
Teddy Mellencamp
Just to make Tamara feel better.
Jenna Ushkowitz
That makes me.
Teddy Mellencamp
Yeah. No, but it's slate's like, mom, remind me again what your sign is. And I'm like, cancer. And she's like, that tracks.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh, she. Oh, she's studying all that stuff.
Teddy Mellencamp
No, that tracks because I have cancelled that.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh, I thought. God.
Teddy Mellencamp
Oh, my God.
Jenna Ushkowitz
No, but I just thought, like, she was following that. I'm like, I didn't think that she was going to be that shady with you.
Teddy Mellencamp
No, she's shadier than us. She wants to run this pod. But before we get into recapping. Season 2 Episode 10 Can We Talk about the reunion looks?
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh, please, can we?
Teddy Mellencamp
We can. We. Can I ask you the best?
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh, you want to start the worst?
Teddy Mellencamp
I want to start with Jesse looking like the Keebler.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I don't know what the hell Jesse's wearing or where he actually bought that outfit. The jacket is weird fitting. It's weird looking. The pants are floral. They look like somebody grant somebody's grandma's couch from the 70s. No, it's a huge miss for me.
Teddy Mellencamp
I'm like, hello, my lady. Hello, my darling. Hello.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I know, right? I showed it to Eddie on the way home from the gym. I'm like, what's your thought on this? And he's like, oh, well, I guess he's trying to get attention. I'm like, that's not the attention. The kind of attention you need or you want.
Teddy Mellencamp
Can you please tell Eddie not to try to get that attention where he's wearing, like, those coats are like the shad belly riding coats that I wear. I think it's longer in the back, but I'm like, this isn't traders, bud.
Jenna Ushkowitz
No, I don't know what he's doing, but it's. It was not good. You know who just knocked it out of the park? And that was Janet.
Teddy Mellencamp
Damn it, Janet, you made me like something.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I know, I know. She looked amazing.
Teddy Mellencamp
She looked so good. I mean, other than that, everybody else looked. I mean, they look nice. They look whatever, but the. The two standouts were. Janet looking incredible.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Her body looks amazing too.
Teddy Mellencamp
She's a sexy beast in this. And then Jesse looking like Jesse.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I couldn't even. Oh, I couldn't even look at Jackson's outfit. I just swiped right by him. He's up to here with him.
Teddy Mellencamp
I couldn't even tell you what he was wearing. And I looked at it three minutes ago.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Impressionable.
Teddy Mellencamp
I'm assuming a blue jacket, like some kind of beige.
Jenna Ushkowitz
It's a hoodie that says Jacks across it.
Teddy Mellencamp
Jax's bar. And then Brits wearing Brits.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Yeah. God.
Teddy Mellencamp
And then they're sitting next to each other. Just kidding.
Jenna Ushkowitz
No.
Teddy Mellencamp
Oh, my gosh. Okay, so it starts out where Jesse picks up Jax from rehab. He did seven hours of therapy a day focusing on anger issues and trauma.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Didn't work.
Teddy Mellencamp
Didn't work. Jax is bitter. No one, especially Brittany, visited him in rehab.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Dude, it was 30 days. It was 30 days. Does anybody need to visit you in 30 days? Maybe everybody's sick of your ass and 30 days wasn't enough.
Teddy Mellencamp
And didn't he come out once during the 30 days?
Jenna Ushkowitz
Yes, to unblock the cameras.
Teddy Mellencamp
And he got an hour break every day. I mean, granted, I think the rehab was probably in Malibu, so you can't get many places in an hour to see anybody, but, I mean, but it.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Took him about two minutes in that car to start complaining about everything and being negative. I'm like, what the hell, dude? You talk about you're in there because of your anger, and all you are is angry as soon as you get in the car.
Teddy Mellencamp
Well, what about how he's leaving the communal items at the house, like his $20,000 couch?
Jenna Ushkowitz
I'm pretty sure it was a sponsored post that got him that $20,000 couch.
Teddy Mellencamp
But hold on. You're not paying your mortgage, but you have a $20,000 couch?
Jenna Ushkowitz
How about the fact that he actually said, I let. Let the house go on foreclosure?
Teddy Mellencamp
Oh. And then he's like, don't worry.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I.
Teddy Mellencamp
He's just constantly going back and forth. It makes no sense. Like, he's like, don't worry, I paid everything. And then he's like, oh, well, yeah. I mean, just let the house go in foreclosure. And the tape, all the different tapes that have been up on, like, the pieces of yellow tape and post its that have been up over those cameras. Like, they're going to have paint chips.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh, no, not paint chips.
Teddy Mellencamp
Paint chips. It's causing.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh, no, no, no. What are your thoughts about him knowing that there was a party at his bar the night before and they changed the name to, like, who told him that?
Teddy Mellencamp
Well, I mean, we watched Jesse tell him that, but I'm sure you already know.
Jenna Ushkowitz
But he acted like he already knew. That's.
Teddy Mellencamp
It's not like they took his phone away in there.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I think somebody was, like, some little rat was, like, texting him.
Teddy Mellencamp
But it's not even some little rat. Like, who's texting him anyway? Who wants to talk?
Jenna Ushkowitz
Jason, maybe. I'm not saying Jason's a rat, but do you think Jason was giving him the information, like, feeding him the info.
Teddy Mellencamp
I don't know.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Jason confuses me.
Teddy Mellencamp
It's like he's wanting to be in the drama.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Now he gets activated like he did earlier in the season, and then the next day he'll apologize and then he just was right back at it. Getting activated. This.
Teddy Mellencamp
Yeah, he's very much like, fu, I'm sorry. Like, oh, I'm really sorry for the way that I acted. I maybe overreacted. But there's never any kind of, like, reasoning for it unless it's Janet. He's always upset about the way people are treating Janet, which I'm wondering is if he's like that in real life or he's just upset about the chance of him and Janet not coming back on the show.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I think he's just funny in his camera balls. Took him a little while and he's like, okay, I got it, I got it. Like the little engine that could. Let's go, let's go. Okay, I figured it out. As the temps start rising, I feel that familiar urge to refresh my closet. But I'm not wasting money on pieces I'll only wear once or for just one season. Teddy Mellencamp
Then when Jesse mentions hosting a welcome back party for Zach's boyfriend, Jax isn't invited, but insists he's coming.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh, stop. He was so exhausting just in that car ride home. And poor Jesse, he was trying so hard to call it Jackson likable. He was, he was trying to call it Jax's horrible behavior. And, and it's like he just sat there like biting his tongue. Like, I know I. He wants to say, like, shut the up, dude. But he's like trying to be nice about it.
Teddy Mellencamp
And I'm like, oh God, he's trying to be nice. But Jack saying, I just got out of rehab, I want to go out makes me think maybe Jax doesn't necessarily understand what rehab is.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh, well, as the, as the episode goes on, he clearly doesn't know what it means because he insists he doesn't have a drinking problem or a drug problem. He's got an anger problem.
Teddy Mellencamp
He had. He wants to make it. But I'm sorry. From somebody who, if I drink and I'm angry, I'm going to be more angry. I'm.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh, yeah, you want slice a bitch? Yeah.
Teddy Mellencamp
Yeah. So like, let's, let's not. What he's doing is just saying, I went to rehab so that you guys would let me keep filming. Now I've come back. I. I want the same person I've.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Always been and I'm still drinking, so deal with it.
Teddy Mellencamp
And do you think they're going to next episode? They didn't show this in the scenes, but because they have so much still to sell. Do you think that maybe Brett should have a yard sale with his $20,000 sofa and whatnot? Or is it just too comfy to give up? But then Michelle Says Aaron has a great relationship with Isabella. She's open to moving. And can we talk about this awkwardness of this conversation?
Jenna Ushkowitz
What, the part where she kept hinting that she wants to be proposed to?
Teddy Mellencamp
Yes.
Jenna Ushkowitz
And then she's like, well, I'm not insinuating or asking you to propose. I'm like, okay.
Teddy Mellencamp
But then he just has that shocked look on his face that he has. No matter if he's shocked or not. And he's like, well, you know, that's not out of the question. But her really leaning into saying, like, you know, how much her daughter and Jesse's daughter wants to be with him.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I think Aaron, I thought that was a little disrespectful. I mean, could you imagine watching a reality show and Edwin saying how much the kids just love his, you know, whatever girlfriend or somebody who's dating or dating or whatever it was. It's just kind of like really like, I, you know, it's. It. I don't know, I thought it was laying on a little thick and I. It made me think that she was saying it to get to him. I do like the fact that Aaron's spending time with her daughter. And I think it's sweet. I think Aaron and I'm glad they like, very nice. Yeah, yeah, for now, let their relationship speak for them. Yeah, she's young. Just wait till she's a teenager.
Teddy Mellencamp
Yeah, but just like, let that relate.
Jenna Ushkowitz
You're not my dad.
Teddy Mellencamp
You're. Oh, that's gonna happen the first time he sets a rule down. I didn't need to see the close up at the stake. I gotta be real honest.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I know. And you know what? The fact that this whole conversation Michelle was saying how Jesse won't let Isabella see her mom and her mom is going through chemo and they don't know how much longer she has. And all this stuff, like, to me, that made me think, what a douche. Like, for, you know, until we find out what happens until later on. So I'm like, oh, my God, that's horrible. But then when you hear what Jesse has to say, I'm like, oh, okay. Now I'm.
Teddy Mellencamp
Well, it really makes sense. But I do think no matter how much your kids are going through, the truth is necessary. So I think as somebody who has cancer and has to have these hard conversations with my kids, and let's be really honest, they've dealt with some other shit this year that has nothing to do with cancer. And then we had to lay on the cancer aspect. I would have been furious if My dad and Edwin and all of you guys weren't honest and transparent with my kids when I was in the hospital getting my surgeries, like, because I think if they just thought I was missing in action, I think that would really hurt them.
Jenna Ushkowitz
And Edwin was good about that, making.
Teddy Mellencamp
Sure that everybody's surprised and making sure that everybody has the information with the.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Help of a therapist. So you say it correctly and all that stuff, for sure.
Teddy Mellencamp
And, I mean, I still talk to my kids about it to this day. Like, yesterday, I was swimming with Cruz, and he was like, mom, I just wanted to say you're doing a lot better. And I was like, thanks, bud. I was like, I don't really remember when I was really bad. And he was like, well, he goes, you always wanted to be right. And I go, how's that different than now?
Jenna Ushkowitz
Wait, wait, wait, wait. Hold on. Hold the brakes here. He was saying that when, after you came.
Teddy Mellencamp
When I was in the hospital.
Jenna Ushkowitz
But you've always been like that.
Teddy Mellencamp
I know. That's my point.
Jenna Ushkowitz
So it. And he's just now realizing that apparently.
Teddy Mellencamp
I was really aggressive about being right inside the hospital. Like when I saw the Scott Peterson case.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh, yes.
Teddy Mellencamp
Yep. But then Danny, Jax, Jason, and Jesse go to dinner. Danny had sent an apology to text. After Brit's party, Jax asks about Santa Barbara and whether Danny blacked out on tequila. If this isn't a way for Jax to get out of talking about himself.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh. I mean, it actually was kind of annoying.
Teddy Mellencamp
It was really.
Jenna Ushkowitz
He's literally out of rehab for 15 minutes, and all of a sudden he's a spokesperson.
Teddy Mellencamp
And can you tell me if I missed something? At the beginning, they showed, like, a clip of Danny and Nia at church.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Was that the church that.
Teddy Mellencamp
Yeah, that's the church.
Jenna Ushkowitz
That's the church, right? Mosaic.
Teddy Mellencamp
Yeah. But then I never saw the church again, so I was, like, waiting for the scene that was going to happen in the church.
Jenna Ushkowitz
It was just like one of those little round robins or whatever they're called, where they go and they just film little scenes and then that's all you get.
Teddy Mellencamp
Oh, well, that's apparently all we got. But then Danny denies it. He says he rarely drinks and is upset for thinking there's a problem. Jack's using this as his welcome back from rehab dinner.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh, my God. It's just Teddy. I, I, I, I'm trying to be nice because now Jack's follow us, both of us.
Teddy Mellencamp
Why did it take him so long? We've been talking shit for years.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Maybe it's One of those things where Alex Baskin's like, hey, you know, there's this podcast, Tamara and Teddy, I think maybe she. They're the only ones that will take you. You might want to follow them. You know, we're trying to get your image back, like, so if you can go and talk. I don't know. But also, I mean, and this is.
Teddy Mellencamp
No offense to OC from last season, but I really don't want to hear people talking about whether they have a drinking problem or not anymore. I'm done. It's. Just let it happen. Or don't.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Jack said quotations. Drinking and drugs is not my problem. It's the deep rooted issues that I have.
Teddy Mellencamp
Do you think some of them may be from drinking and drugs?
Jenna Ushkowitz
Well, I can tell you this, drinking and drugs is not going to help you out. But I don't know. I just think Jason trying to push Danny into admitting he has a drinking problem was kind of annoying, too. Then looking at Jax, then he looked at Jackson, laughed it, like, gave me the ick.
Teddy Mellencamp
I also have a question for you. So I think they make it very clear by, like, not inviting him to anything and trying to act like they don't want him on the show. I mean, maybe they don't want him on the show, but do you think that not having him on the show would actually affect the show? Like, they need Jax?
Jenna Ushkowitz
Yeah. Because guess what? This was the most. This was the best episode of the season.
Teddy Mellencamp
That is true. It was a good episode. Like, I almost watched it twice.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Yeah, no, it was a great episode. And it's like, as much as, like, he can annoy you, he's good tv.
Teddy Mellencamp
He's good tv because.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Just ask him. Because it's his show.
Teddy Mellencamp
Yeah, it is his show.
Jenna Ushkowitz
It's his show.
Teddy Mellencamp
He wants to make it clear it's his show. And I have had my fair share of seeing people get picked up and dropped off at the airport this season. So thank you so much for that, guys.
Tamara Judge
Yep.
Jenna Ushkowitz
That was great.
Teddy Mellencamp
I really. I don't even like to go to the airport myself, let alone see people drive in traffic to the airport. But then there's. Zach is having a surprise party for Benji. Hold on. Before we get into this party, did you see the guy that was wearing a fish? And what is that?
Jenna Ushkowitz
It was so annoying to me because I was trying to watch. Listen to the argument with Jax and Zach and then they would show him in the background and I'm like, I would get distracted, like, what. What the hell is on that guy's Head.
Teddy Mellencamp
The Meredith Marks is going on.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I don't know.
Teddy Mellencamp
I didn't. I was like, I can't focus on the fighting because all I notice is this guy. And I wonder how hot it is.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Imagine wearing that, like, stand. Stand if there's, like a hair on my face. Rhinestones.
Teddy Mellencamp
Rhinestones. And at a backyard barbecue.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I was just gonna say that. A backyard barbecue. Like, the things people do to stand out. Just.
Teddy Mellencamp
But it worked because we talked about.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Him and not in a good light.
Teddy Mellencamp
But I gotta say, I didn't even see Benji at the party.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Didn't see much of them. Saw him walk in and see that nice little sign that they put in the front. Supposed to be surprised, welcome.
Teddy Mellencamp
But then Nia pulls Janet aside to talk about what Janet has been saying about Danny. Janet says Danny's blackout behavior around women needs to be addressed. We got it, Janet. We understand, Nia, think.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Do you feel like we've seen blackout behavior?
Teddy Mellencamp
Yes.
Jenna Ushkowitz
You think that's blackout behavior?
Teddy Mellencamp
Yes.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Okay.
Teddy Mellencamp
Do you?
Jenna Ushkowitz
I don't know. I mean, I've seen him dry. I think he's.
Teddy Mellencamp
Kyle cooks.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Kyle cooks like that when he drinks. He's like, slurry is.
Teddy Mellencamp
Whereas. Right. But they're just not focusing on the blackout behavior. They know they need it from time to time.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I just think some people are not shitty drunks. Yeah, shitty drunks. It doesn't mean that they're an alcoholic.
Teddy Mellencamp
No. But it does mean that they could have blacked out and just say, yeah, I got hammered and blacked out.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Yeah.
Teddy Mellencamp
But I'm not doing it with my kids. I'm not doing it. I'm not driving. I'm not hurting anyone. But I guess, you know, but here's.
Jenna Ushkowitz
The thing, is there's a few actually on that cast that are saying he's got a drinking problem. And there could be some truth to it.
Teddy Mellencamp
I don't know if he has a problem, but I do know that he's sloppy at drinking.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Well, a lot of people are sloppy at drinking.
Teddy Mellencamp
Yeah. He just shows it. Some people when they're drunk, you can't really tell.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Well, that's usually the alcoholics.
Teddy Mellencamp
Oh, it is.
Tamara Judge
Okay.
Teddy Mellencamp
Some people, you can't really tell him. He's like. And then. And you're like, what? And then he gets kind of angry and that. But I don't even need to watch him. I just need to watch Nia's face the second she's like, yeah, no, we only have the babysitter till 10pm I'm like, yep, Danny's drunk.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Danny's drunk.
Teddy Mellencamp
But I didn't really understand the why. Nia and Janet's conversation just got zipped up so quickly. Like, what happened?
Jenna Ushkowitz
I don't know. But when Dan. I mean, there's talk about Danny calling her a snake, and all I can think is, I don't think he has to be drunk to call her a snake. I mean, there's no good blood between them. They. Neither one of them like each other. And so I'm like, yeah, he could do that completely sober.
Teddy Mellencamp
But after Janet walks away, she says to Jason that it's not their fault that Danny sexually assaults women when he's drunk.
Jenna Ushkowitz
That was uncalled for.
Teddy Mellencamp
I thought that was just. Listen, Janet, as someone who isn't, you know, had a couple seasons of not being liked on a television show. Learn from me. Enough, enough. Hold on. What it is that Sutton used to say?
Jenna Ushkowitz
Taylor Armstrong.
Teddy Mellencamp
Well, I know.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Enough, enough.
Teddy Mellencamp
But what did Sutton say? Put the kitty away or put. Let the mouse go.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Put the kitty away, girl.
Teddy Mellencamp
The kitty away. That's our new saying. But then Nia asked Jesse why he won't allow as Nia's getting herself involved.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I know. I like it. I love it. I love it.
Teddy Mellencamp
I feel like next year we might even get to see a dark side of Nia.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Her confessional with the pink is so pretty.
Teddy Mellencamp
She's so hot. She's beautiful. She really is beautiful. But Nia asked why Jesse won't allow Isabella more time with her grandmother. One, I need to know where the grandmother lives. Two, I wanted that to. Jesse says he didn't realize how sick she is and wants Isabella to understand mortality before seeing her in this situation. Okay. This is where if you were co parenting. Well, the two of you could talk to your daughter.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Yes.
Teddy Mellencamp
And say, this is what's going on.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Jesse, at this moment, is making so much sense about Isabella seeing her grandmother. It's the fact that the two of them cannot communicate whatsoever and have a.
Teddy Mellencamp
You don't want to just drop her off with the grandmother while the grandmother's in a sick situation. You want to have a conversation with her so she can understand. But I do think she is old enough to slightly. You don't have to give her every crumb of detail.
Jenna Ushkowitz
No. How old is she? Four? Five?
Teddy Mellencamp
No, I think she's like six.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh, is she like.
Teddy Mellencamp
I mean, she's in preschool.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Okay. Well, she's. She's still very, very young.

Jenna Ushkowitz
It's a sign. It's a sign. Go away. Oh, we don't want none.
Teddy Mellencamp
Then Zach continues on this. I thought he took it a little too far, even for Jax.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh, what part, Teddy? What part did he take too far? Every time he opens his mouth up, he takes it too far.
Teddy Mellencamp
He takes it too far. I'm like, can't we spend some time with Benji? Because I haven't seen him much.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I. But let me tell You. I thought that Zach. He did a great job.
Teddy Mellencamp
Yeah, well, Jack says he wants to speak with Brittany, and Zach tells him that's not going to happen. Jack says it's none of Zach's business, but it is. Here's where I also have to make a point. Zach rides so hard for Brittany, and she does not ride hard back for him. I agree with him at this point.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Yeah, he acknowledges that as well. I would have to say I have an apology for Zach, because the first part of the season, I was like, I just wasn't feeling him. And now I've gotten to see.
Teddy Mellencamp
You can see what a good friend he can be.
Jenna Ushkowitz
He's a good friend. He's funny. I like his wig now.
Teddy Mellencamp
He has adjusted. He's adjusted it nicely. Hold on. Speaking of.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Fix that wig.
Teddy Mellencamp
Fix that wig, honey.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Yeah. I mean, the banter back and forth was quite hilarious.
Teddy Mellencamp
Jack says, it's my show. My show, not yours. To which Zach replies, it wasn't. For the past 30 days.
Jenna Ushkowitz
You've been a background character for the entire season. I'm like, oh, my God. And then Jack saying, everybody in this house needs rehab. This is not a Jack's bashing party. And then the whole thought of him getting Botox and a haircut the first couple days out of being in rehab for 30 days. If he was in prison, like, Todd Chrisley or something, I'm like, dude, he's out of prison. I think he is now, but I'm saying, like, he acts like he was in prison for years. I mean, in rehab for a year.
Teddy Mellencamp
Like, he didn't have that hour break to get a little Botox.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Yeah, like, it was 30 days, bro. 30 days.
Teddy Mellencamp
Yeah.
Jenna Ushkowitz
But not seeing your child. Like, it was more priority to go get Botox and a haircut than to go see your child. But then constantly bitch about it. And then we find out later that he never even reached out to Brittany to see his son.
Teddy Mellencamp
And also, I need it clear, you're blocked everywhere except for email, because he said, I'm blocked. I can't reach out to her to even see my son.
Jenna Ushkowitz
But then he's like, that could be a burner account. He could have done it on the fake burner account.
Teddy Mellencamp
He can go on our Instagrams to reach out. Do you need us to reach out, Jax? Hey, Brett. I mean, this is nuts up.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Maybe they should use Lisa's apple, her new divorce app. Maybe that will help them.
Teddy Mellencamp
Maybe it will. Well, this is.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I agree with Kristen when she said Jack should be on his hands and Knees, you know, when it comes to Britney and, and pretty much everybody else. But he just kind of coming in as the same old Jack. He's very, very angry. I mean, I would think, you know, I'm going through therapy. I would think, like they would have taught him in those seven hour sessions every single day that don't put yourself in situations that are gonna make you angry.
Teddy Mellencamp
But he's gonna have to. But that's hard because we know he's gonna get out and have to put himself in situations that's gonna be angry. But maybe what they could have discussed was, okay, you're coming out of rehab, you're going straight to film a television show. It's where you make your money. Let's discuss maybe how you should behave.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Right? Well, you think that they would have.
Teddy Mellencamp
Discussed all that, but do you think he would listen? Do you think he's capable of listening and following instructions?
Jenna Ushkowitz
I don't see one single change. Like, it's not even like he's like, yeah, alcohol's not good for me. I'm working through some stuff. It just amplifies how I feel. It makes me more angry. He's not saying any of that. None of it.
Teddy Mellencamp
His task is between us, that he can't even find a water, so he has to drink a tap. And then he's like, I put way worse stuff in my body than tap water.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I know, sick.
Teddy Mellencamp
But don't you worry, he's moving next.
Jenna Ushkowitz
To Shorts could be a good influence on him.
Teddy Mellencamp
I don't know. I think first. Now Schwartz can be a good influence on him, but I think they could both be a bad influence on each other. Give it some more time.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I just, when we did that interview with Shorts, he just seems very intelligent, very kind. He's like the guy you want to marry. He just seems like a good guy.
Teddy Mellencamp
But then you need to go back and watch some of the things he said.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Well, he's younger than his wife, but he was young.
Teddy Mellencamp
You think people change. I think you either can be verbally out of control and say things or you can't. Yes, you can change and get better, but I don't think that he's in.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I think anybody, I think anybody can say things that they don't mean from time to time if it's consistent and it's, you know, just verbal abuse. That's a whole different.
Teddy Mellencamp
Well, I mean, I don't know that I can say this. Like, if I had to pick one between Sandoval, Shorts and Jax to marry, I would pick Shorts Yeah, for sure, but. And yes, I know I'm saying shorts, everybody, but it's because I like to call them shorts.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Schwartz.
Teddy Mellencamp
I know it's Schwartz.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I mean, I like to call them shorts Taylor's last name. Jax. Jax is the only person on TV that can make Tom Sandoval look good.
Teddy Mellencamp
Yeah, well, Tom Sandoval is on every television show there ever has been.
Jenna Ushkowitz
So I'm doing an. An event at the Red Sox, and he's going to be there. And I said, oh, great. I said, if we walk out together, we won't know who they're booing first.
Teddy Mellencamp
I love it. But then they're moving in next to each other. He complains he hasn't seen Cruz, and then he gets served with the divorce papers. And at first he's like, should I just sign it? Should I just do it right now?
Jenna Ushkowitz
Well, at first he's like, oh, this is from my podcast. And I'm like, so wait a minute, is he getting sued by his podcast? Is that why he's expecting to be served?
Teddy Mellencamp
No, I think it's the money from the podcast. Because remember, he said, when you're served, it's legal papers. Yeah, I know, but maybe because he didn't pay Brittany for the podcast, that's what he thought was going to happen. Because I think he really didn't believe she wasn't going to stay with him. I think he thought.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Wait, they had a flashback of the wedding. They really had Hooter girls at their wedding?
Teddy Mellencamp
Yeah, because she was Hooter. She worked at Hooters when they met, and it.
Jenna Ushkowitz
And you need to have them at your wedding reception.
Teddy Mellencamp
According to Schwartz, it was the best wedding ever.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Really?
Teddy Mellencamp
Yeah.
Jenna Ushkowitz
He called it years ago. He said, you're going to be divorced and miserable soon.
Teddy Mellencamp
But Hooters is delicious.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I haven't been to Hooters since.
Teddy Mellencamp
Should we go for my birthday?
Jenna Ushkowitz
Yes. I think that'd be great. Is it.
Teddy Mellencamp
Do you think I could get a job there? My boobs are still ginormous.
Jenna Ushkowitz
They are. Your two boobs are not ginormous.
Teddy Mellencamp
They are. I could, like, throw them over my shoulder.
Jenna Ushkowitz
No, you can't.
Teddy Mellencamp
During the pod. I don't know why they're so big now.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh, they've grown. Is that what you're saying?
Teddy Mellencamp
Yes. I don't know. I guess because I've grown, they've grown.
Jenna Ushkowitz
That tend to. Tends to happen.
Teddy Mellencamp
But I'm like, every dress I put on, I'm like, whoa.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Hello, titties. Hello, tits.
Teddy Mellencamp
What's up, tits? But then we see Brittany getting emotional after she goes back to her house to see Jax's man cave, AKA his garage. Why did he throw up pictures of her and her dad?
Jenna Ushkowitz
Because he's a dick. I don't know how else to say it. I mean, she's in the trash can and just pulls out a picture of her and her. Her son and her dad, and it's like, why are you doing that? Why are you so nasty? I thought you went to some kind of therapy. Like this is fresh on your mind. How have you all forgotten it all by now?
Teddy Mellencamp
I don't know, because I was too busy making my own burner account called Frank Dreaming. How do you pronounce it?
Jenna Ushkowitz
Drummond. So I. I looked up Frank Drummond. It's still out there. It's Frank. Underscore. Dr. Derman. Underscore. It is now private. I heard that it was public a few hours prior to me looking it up. So it was private. I mean, it was public. It went private. I don't know why he put it on private.
Teddy Mellencamp
Probably because his publicist was like, can you stop? This is out there now.
Jenna Ushkowitz
How about deleting it?
Teddy Mellencamp
How about not have it right? Giving Britney so much joy by you having it.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I mean, the fact that he literally commented on his about himself, that he's. That he's a legend, and then the idiot goes in DMS Brittany from the same account.
Tamara Judge
I mean, this just shows you the.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Damn narcissist he is.
Teddy Mellencamp
He forgot to switch accounts. Tamara, give him a break.
Jenna Ushkowitz
How many Bravo levities you think have burned? I've never in my life had a burner account.
Teddy Mellencamp
I can't even manage my one account if I.
Jenna Ushkowitz
If somebody has me blocked. The only thing I can do is, like, maybe go on Rugby's account.
Teddy Mellencamp
And look, I don't have a dog account, but maybe I'll get one.
Jenna Ushkowitz
And. But I don't care enough if you're like, I don't know.
Teddy Mellencamp
But then we get to Luke tells Danny and Nia about his upcoming proposal trip to Hawaii. This is all getting brushed under the rug because there's so much going down that it's a little bit of a bummer. My final question in regards to this episode is, does Jax under why Jax giving us a rundown on how he doesn't understand what full custody means? It's a simple Google search.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I know, but don't you feel like there was a little bit of bad acting? He's in the garage and the doorbell rings and he's like, at this point, I think he's at or wherever he was. He's like, that is new place. Somebody's at the door. Like, he just. Oh, is that is the podcast? It's like it was just so. It just looked like it was acting.
Teddy Mellencamp
I also think that apartment looked expensive. That him and Schwartz.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh, yeah, the balcony. Yeah, that looks like it's really nice.
Teddy Mellencamp
And then he's like, I want to take this down the glass. I. I call this already. I can see next season. Jack's climbing over that ledge to get over to Schwartz's.
Jenna Ushkowitz
He probably will. This season's not over. When did they go to Hawaii? I've been hearing about Hawaii for so long. I thought Hawaii episode was like two.
Teddy Mellencamp
Episodes ago and Lala and Sheena weren't there. But do you think that was because Lala was having a baby?
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh, I don't know.
Teddy Mellencamp
Because this seems to be a part.
Jenna Ushkowitz
You see Lala. We don't see a lot of Lala in this. We see more of Sheena.
Teddy Mellencamp
But I think we're going to see them more.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I really, last year. Next year, I think that they'll be probably full time. But I loved when, you know, he gets served. And there's Schwartz, who is very intelligent and he's.
Teddy Mellencamp
He seems like he's being held hostage.
Jenna Ushkowitz
He's reading it. I know he's reading it and he's trying to explain it to him. And then he's like, hey, dude, don't look at the headlines. It's all over social media. And Schwartz telling him, and don't look at the comments.
Teddy Mellencamp
Never look at the comments.
Jenna Ushkowitz
They're not good. They're not good.
Teddy Mellencamp
They are.
Jenna Ushkowitz
You might need to get your burner account and work overtime.
Teddy Mellencamp
Listen, Frank Draiman. Draiming.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Drummond.
Teddy Mellencamp
Drummond. I'm gonna create. I gotta go because I gotta create some burner accounts this afternoon. I don't know how, but I'm gonna try and I'm gonna come up with very clever names. Hey, if you guys could write in what my burner account's name should be, let me know. Go ahead and put those right here in the comments. Thank you.
Jenna Ushkowitz
I have a question for you. Speaking of like, burner accounts, do you go on Instagram and you can see now who's trolling you on your account? Following you. So if you go to the three lines in the right hand corner and click that, go to your blocked so you'll show all your block. You scroll all the way down and it says people you should block. And you click on those, just. There are people that are constantly trolling your account. They're all fake accounts.
Teddy Mellencamp
Yes. I have so much to do this afternoon.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh my God. I do it like once a week. And there's this.
Teddy Mellencamp
So fun.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Four new. Brand new. I'm like, I know who you are. Keep it up like four.
Teddy Mellencamp
You block them when you see it.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh yeah, you just click it and it says block. I mean, how many times they have to keep making fake accounts to try to troll my account? Like, I don't know.
Teddy Mellencamp
I'll let you know once I create one and start trolling people.
Jenna Ushkowitz
Oh, yeah, that's gonna lift your spirits.
Teddy Mellencamp
Nothing's gonna give me joy like trolling others. God. Oh my gosh. Well, I love you, Tam. I'll talk to you tomorrow. Bye.
