We're not even going to talk. We're going to move right on from that. Yeah, well, I was like, kind of a mess this weekend, I got to tell you. Yeah, I, you know, I just really have been trying to like, I did kind of a post about it last night because my hair was growing and I was like, trying to find like a positive and everything that's going on, but I've been so emotional that I can't. I'm taking everything so personally. I'm like, I. I need to figure out how to like, put on blockers and not pay attention to what people say to me or do because I seriously have been on the verge of tears for like five days to you.

No, it's actual humans in my life.

Like, like, you're super sensitive.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Super sensitive. Like, if anybody gives me feedback on anything, instead of being just like, okay, I got it. I am like, yeah. What? I'm trying. I'm doing my hardest.

Well, you have a lot going on right now. And not to mention that your hormones are totally out of whack. Didn't you say since you've started immun therapy, you haven't had a period?

Correct. And it's just, like, really getting to me. So if I sound a little emotional today, that's what's going on. Like, I don't. I ca. I want it to stop so badly.

[Jenna Ushkowitz]

Yeah. Is there. And there's nothing you can.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

There's nothing like that different. I mean, yesterday I got up in the morning, and I started feeling the same way again where, like, everything and everybody were making me emotional. So I, like, forced myself to take a little nap after I got the kids to camps and stuff, and I felt a little bit better. I honestly feel like I'm giving jags vibes. I'm like, the highs and the lows are so bad.

Well, give yourself some grace, girl.

Oh, my gosh.

[Jenna Ushkowitz]

Because it's gonna. It's gonna pass. Because it's not your personality. I got to believe it's. You know, with everything that's going on and hormones and just. I know you're tired of this. You don't want to do this anymore. Like, you just want it to be all over with. And. And I know you like your.

I can't control it.

[Jenna Ushkowitz]

You can't control it. You can't schedule it.

No. And, like, every little thing that, like, Edwin or even the kids, like, kind of say to me, I can feel myself, like, thinking, teddy, you're not good enough. You need to figure things out.

Well, you are good enough. And there's nothing you have to figure out right now. There's nothing. Just.

That's what my dad keeps saying.

He's like, nothing you have to figure out. You just have to, unfortunately, go through the emotions that you're going through and deal with the emotions you're dealing with. And it's okay to cry.

You're only human. And, you know. And, I mean, it's on the bright side. Your hair is growing back. Your immunotherapy is working.

Tam, who would have thought that you were going to be the positive one and I was going to be the negative one?

I know. I mean, all the. The good things. You're dating, you know, so many in your life.

I know, right? I showed it to Eddie on the way home from the gym. I'm like, what's your thought on this? And he's like, oh, well, I guess he's trying to get attention. I'm like, that's not the attention. The kind of attention you need or you want.

Can you please tell Eddie not to try to get that attention where he's wearing, like, those coats are like the shad belly riding coats that I wear. I think it's longer in the back, but I'm like, this isn't traders, bud.

No, I don't know what he's doing, but it's. It was not good. You know who just knocked it out of the park? And that was Janet.

Oh, my gosh. Okay, so it starts out where Jesse picks up Jax from rehab. He did seven hours of therapy a day focusing on anger issues and trauma.

Didn't work.

Didn't work. Jax is bitter. No one, especially Brittany, visited him in rehab.

[Jenna Ushkowitz]

Dude, it was 30 days. It was 30 days. Does anybody need to visit you in 30 days? Maybe everybody's sick of your ass and 30 days wasn't enough.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

And didn't he come out once during the 30 days?

[Jenna Ushkowitz]

Yes, to unblock the cameras.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

And he got an hour break every day. I mean, granted, I think the rehab was probably in Malibu, so you can't get many places in an hour to see anybody, but, I mean, but it.

[Jenna Ushkowitz]

Took him about two minutes in that car to start complaining about everything and being negative. I'm like, what the hell, dude? You talk about you're in there because of your anger, and all you are is angry as soon as you get in the car.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Well, what about how he's leaving the communal items at the house, like his $20,000 couch?

[Jenna Ushkowitz]

Oh, no, no, no. What are your thoughts about him knowing that there was a party at his bar the night before and they changed the name to, like, who told him that?

Well, I mean, we watched Jesse tell him that, but I'm sure you already know.

But he acted like he already knew. That's.

It's not like they took his phone away in there.

I think somebody was, like, some little rat was, like, texting him.

Now he gets activated like he did earlier in the season, and then the next day he'll apologize and then he just was right back at it. Getting activated. This.

Yeah, he's very much like, fu, I'm sorry. Like, oh, I'm really sorry for the way that I acted. I maybe overreacted. But there's never any kind of, like, reasoning for it unless it's Janet. He's always upset about the way people are treating Janet, which I'm wondering is if he's like that in real life or he's just upset about the chance of him and Janet not coming back on the show.

I think Aaron, I thought that was a little disrespectful. I mean, could you imagine watching a reality show and Edwin saying how much the kids just love his, you know, whatever girlfriend or somebody who's dating or dating or whatever it was. It's just kind of like really like, I, you know, it's. It. I don't know, I thought it was laying on a little thick and I. It made me think that she was saying it to get to him. I do like the fact that Aaron's spending time with her daughter. And I think it's sweet. I think Aaron and I'm glad they like, very nice. Yeah, yeah, for now, let their relationship speak for them. Yeah, she's young. Just wait till she's a teenager.

And all this stuff, like, to me, that made me think, what a douche. Like, for, you know, until we find out what happens until later on. So I'm like, oh, my God, that's horrible. But then when you hear what Jesse has to say, I'm like, oh, okay. Now I'm.

Well, it really makes sense. But I do think no matter how much your kids are going through, the truth is necessary. So I think as somebody who has cancer and has to have these hard conversations with my kids, and let's be really honest, they've dealt with some other shit this year that has nothing to do with cancer. And then we had to lay on the cancer aspect. I would have been furious if My dad and Edwin and all of you guys weren't honest and transparent with my kids when I was in the hospital getting my surgeries, like, because I think if they just thought I was missing in action, I think that would really hurt them.

[Jenna Ushkowitz]

And Edwin was good about that, making.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Sure that everybody's surprised and making sure that everybody has the information with the.

[Jenna Ushkowitz]

Help of a therapist. So you say it correctly and all that stuff, for sure.

And, I mean, I still talk to my kids about it to this day. Like, yesterday, I was swimming with Cruz, and he was like, mom, I just wanted to say you're doing a lot better. And I was like, thanks, bud. I was like, I don't really remember when I was really bad. And he was like, well, he goes, you always wanted to be right. And I go, how's that different than now?

[Jenna Ushkowitz]

Wait, wait, wait, wait. Hold on. Hold the brakes here. He was saying that when, after you came.

When I was in the hospital.

But you've always been like that.

He's literally out of rehab for 15 minutes, and all of a sudden he's a spokesperson.

Oh, well, that's apparently all we got. But then Danny denies it. He says he rarely drinks and is upset for thinking there's a problem. Jack's using this as his welcome back from rehab dinner.

Why did it take him so long? We've been talking shit for years.

Yeah. Because guess what? This was the most. This was the best episode of the season.

I don't know if he has a problem, but I do know that he's sloppy at drinking.

But I didn't really understand the why. Nia and Janet's conversation just got zipped up so quickly. Like, what happened?

I don't know. But when Dan. I mean, there's talk about Danny calling her a snake, and all I can think is, I don't think he has to be drunk to call her a snake. I mean, there's no good blood between them. They. Neither one of them like each other. And so I'm like, yeah, he could do that completely sober.

But after Janet walks away, she says to Jason that it's not their fault that Danny sexually assaults women when he's drunk.

I mean, in rehab for a year.

Yeah, like, it was 30 days, bro. 30 days.

I love it. But then they're moving in next to each other. He complains he hasn't seen Cruz, and then he gets served with the divorce papers. And at first he's like, should I just sign it? Should I just do it right now?

Well, at first he's like, oh, this is from my podcast. And I'm like, so wait a minute, is he getting sued by his podcast? Is that why he's expecting to be served?

No, I think it's the money from the podcast. Because remember, he said, when you're served, it's legal papers. Yeah, I know, but maybe because he didn't pay Brittany for the podcast, that's what he thought was going to happen. Because I think he really didn't believe she wasn't going to stay with him. I think he thought.
