Not feeling fresh at all. And we're gonna. We are going to recap. Potomac episode seven. Now it starts off with Ashley goes to Monique's house when he got a new parrot.

[Tamara Judge]

Now.

[Dolores]

You love animals. It talks. Now is something I was going to say.

[Tamara Judge]

I want to hear what it's got to say.

[Dolores]

I know. Are you a. A bird person?

[Tamara Judge]

No, actually. Of course. I would die for any animal on the face of the earth. But I'm afraid of birds. So am I. I'm definitely afraid of birds. They freak me out.

[Dolores]

I had a bad bird experience. I had, like, have one. I just.

[Tamara Judge]

Afraid of them.

[Dolores]

We had one growing up, but it was a little cockatoo or something like that, so it was no big deal. But we were. I was driving home from. From high school when we used to be able to drive home to go to lunch. And I was driving, and these birds were flying, and they hit my windshield, and a bunch of them got stuck to my windshield, died, and I had to drive. I had to drive another block. No, stuck to my windshield.

[Tamara Judge]

It was like a kamikaze.

[Dolores]

It was crazy.

[Tamara Judge]

Suicide on your windshield.

[Dolores]

I know. And now I'm forever traumatized. So Ashley asked about Monique's love life. Monique says she is focusing on herself. They talk about Monique's fight with the girls a few years prior. Ashley says she's always had Monique's back. Ashley tells Monique that some of the things that Stacy says do not align. And I will tell you that's something. We had Stacy on the podcast, and I will tell you, she's very lovely, speaks very well, has a very soothing voice, but she dodges the questions like a pro. Like she, like.

[Tamara Judge]

Well, she's media trained.

Yes.

But listen, nobody ever put her hand to the fire on whether or not this guy got paid. What happened with that? It just went away. I don't listen, Stacy, if you say you didn't pay him and there's no proof, then we still have to stand behind you because you're part of the family. Yeah, the family. So we're gonna say, okay, you didn't pay him. But they didn't really, like, push on that. They just love to call her a liar, but they don't prove that she's lying.

[Dolores]

Well, they bring up proof, but some of it is a little bit questionable. But, you know, I. I doesn't count. I found Stacy. Not only is she strikingly beautiful, beautiful, sweet, kind, just.

[Tamara Judge]

But me and.

[Dolores]

Me and Teddy, she walked away, and we're like, I don't think she answered any of the questions. That's a real talent. So then Ashley asked Monique if she wants to go to Ashley's float for the Pride Parade. And Giselle will. And Giselle will be there, and we know the history with that. Monique says she isn't interested in any part of drama. But she still addresses. She'll still address it if she needs to. I was very excited to see Monique back. I saw her at Bravocon. She's lovely.

[Tamara Judge]

She's lovely. So beautiful. So nice.

[Dolores]

Did you meet her? You met her at Bravocon as well?

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah.

[Dolores]

Did you feel like you kept seeing the same people at Bravocon? I feel like there was so much more talent, and I only passed just like, like, in passing at Bravocon. I feel like there's so many people I didn't see.

[Tamara Judge]

I feel like I saw pretty much everyone. You know, I didn't. You know who wasn't there this year? Ladies of London. Is it Lystra? Was it that?

[Dolores]

Yeah, there was. I feel like there was a lot of talent missing. I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong. Yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

No, no, there was. I, I. I wish they would have brought Housewives of Rhode Island. I would have loved to.

[Dolores]

Surprised they didn't have them on stage.

[Tamara Judge]

They're so excited.

[Dolores]

They should have brought them out. Remember back when New York was announced? They brought them out on stage.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah, but did. Did he announce New York's coming back? Not to digress.

[Dolores]

I think he did. And we just don't. We don't know who the cast is. I mean, I know a few people coming back, but I'm not going to say. But we don't know who the cast is. You can only assume that the people that were there are coming back. So confirmed. I would say confirmed.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah.

[Dolores]

Yeah, exactly. Now Wendy tells Eddie that she's upset because her dad didn't wish her a happy birthday. She hasn't seen her dad in 20 years. Her stepfather took over the fatherly role for her, but he passed away when she was about 39 years old. So I have a confession. My mom's birthday was the day after the reunion, and I forgot that it was her birthday.

[Tamara Judge]

It happens.

[Dolores]

And I felt so bad because I was just in such a state and so sad and just beat up that I told Eddie, oh, my God, I forgot to wish my mom happy birthday.

[Tamara Judge]

And he goes, do you think she cares? She.

No.

[Dolores]

And he goes, oh, I did. I go, he's all, sorry I didn't remind you.

[Tamara Judge]

Looking out, Addie.

[Dolores]

Yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah, thanks for looking out. Well, here's the thing. She hasn't spoke to her dad in 20 years. Why would this birthday. Why would she expect one this birthday?

Information because, you know, sometimes, you know, we bring up things on TV that all of a sudden bother us and we expect from things that, you know, it's like a thing, you know. Wendy, are you upset for that reason? Are you. Are you expecting him to call now because your stepfather died? I. But I will say this. I have a lot of respect for stepfathers that take the role of missing dads. Yeah. And, Wendy, I'm very glad for you that you got a man. You had a man in your life that took that role. So.

No Jenna, just those three. So they're building a cast around those three. No OGs will be returning. And Andy confirmed that. Oh, he got. He got booed. He got some pushback for that. Yeah, the fans were not excited about that. They want to see some of the.

I know, I know, I know, I know. They need a little Now Stacy take pictures with her brand shy. How do you Shayo. Shayo. Shayo and her new cannabis company. Stacy tells Ashley on FaceTime about her cannabis line as well as the name. And Ashley is confused because Stacy was asked if she was trying to make her own line at the reunion and she said no.

Everything Stacy says gets like.

It's so confusing.

Every single thing is it the way she speaks.

[Dolores]

And I'm understanding. For the, you know, as a viewer, I'm understanding. And somebody that, you know, has been on the Housewives forever. If somebody on my cast was like that, it would be so annoying.

[Tamara Judge]

Sometimes. Okay, so listen, sometimes people blame people for lying because they're just not specific in the way they speak. Right? So I don't know if I can't believe that every single time she talks is a lie because I've been called a Liar before from, like, let's say, like a boyfriend at one time. Like, oh, you're a lie. But no, you. I didn't. I wasn't specific. I'm not lying. There's nothing about what I said is a lie. Do you know what I mean?

[Dolores]

I exactly know what you mean, because sometimes I don't get my words out correctly.

[Tamara Judge]

Right.

[Dolores]

Caden's always telling me that you don't get your words out, you don't explain things. And I go, I know, I know. I'm sorry.

[Tamara Judge]

But I don't know if Stacy's just.

[Dolores]

Stacey gets her words out. She's very elegant in the way she speaks. She's just very poised. And I don't know if it's a QVC training or what, but she's always on display. Okay, so angel gets. Angel gets lunch with her big sister. Now, I wish I could see angel this outspoken with the other ladies as she was with her sister. She was. She was funny. Angel tells her that Giselle called her a catfish. Her sister says that Giselle and Wendy also Photoshopped their photos. And Bravo, you know, was there to throw up the. Some Photoshop pictures of the two of them.

Of course they do. Everyone does.

[Dolores]

They even talked about Giselle's neck. And I was like, oh, my, not the neck. Angel says she feels misjudged, but she's willing to give the girls a chance.

[Tamara Judge]

I think she handled it well. And, you know this is Angel's first season, right? Yeah. So first season, you don't know your place yet. Give her till second season and she's going to come out of the box. Let me tell you something.

[Dolores]

She did ask me at Bravo conference a little bit of advice about the situation. I think she. I think she feels like she's coming off a little too weak in the beginning. She has no relationship with the wife. She believes that the assets would either go to her or his grandchildren. That's a tough one because it's like fighting after the fact your dad had passed away when you should be mourning him and moving forward and having all these good thoughts. Now she has to think about the wife, you know, which is not Giselle's.

Passes away or right before that. It's like so sickening that this happens, but it happens all the time. All the time. And it's very sad.

Yeah. But I mean, it just sucks. It really sucks. I know a lot of kids who have gotten screwed out of their parents inheritance by the spouse. And I know spouses who have gotten screwed out of things as well. And it's just the fact that somebody's on their deathbed that work their whole life to have what people are fighting over instead of mourning you. It sucks.

Well, Giselle. Giselle told her daughter that, you know, it did look good in court, that the judge was willing to hear both sides and look at it and, you know, see what he can come up with. He did not just dismiss. It was. Which is a good, good deal. Kay and Greg have a drink. Kay thinks therapy has been very beneficial to the relationship. Kay thinks that she has done well at taking the pressure off of their relationship. Do you agree with that?
