Oh, really? Okay, we'll have. We'll have to talk off camera.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

We'll have to talk off camera. I know between that and when my dad went on whatever, it was Good Morning America and, like, Joe Rogan and told everybody I was suffering. Now I'm been in, like, a doozy of a situation of so many people messaging me, I bet. And I'm like, there's different ways of suffering. Like, I'm so. Yes, mentally and physically, I'm suffering, but I'm not suffering from.

[Tamara Judge]

Your cancer's not worse.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah, my cancer is not worse.

[Tamara Judge]

Right, right. Well, I think just as a concerned dad, I don't. I don't think he meant to do anything.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

No. He calls and checks in every single day. He's coming out here next week. He wants to make sure, you know, like, he. He's. He's doing the best everybody's doing, but he's not wrong.

[Tamara Judge]

You've had the past month or so has been difficult on you.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah. Really hard.

[Tamara Judge]

He's just concerned about you more than anything. But I understand, you know, people being concerned with. With what he said.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah. But, I mean, he's not wrong. I've definitely. I mean, I have been suffering. I have been crying a lot. I've been super emotional. I've even have, like, a support group now.

[Tamara Judge]

I was reading about immunotherapy and chemo as well, that it can really, like, attack your nervous system.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

And it can put you in deep depression. I was listening to my entire feed is either fitness or cancer. And so there was a girl that was talking about how she went through chemo, and then her. It came back, and now she's having to do chemo again years later. And she said, I'm so afraid of that depression from, you know, attacking your nervous system. And she says, and it started again. So here we go. And it's something that's not controllable.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

It's not like that you can do anything to, to help it. It just is what it is. It's like.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah. Like nervous feeling all day long. Yeah. And that's exactly how I feel. And some days it's more manageable, but it's not like linear. Like there's some days that are. I feel like I can't even move. And there's some days that I'm like, oh, I could go do anything.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I could go to this party or I could, you know.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah. So it's for me, like, I know it because I see you be quiet, quiet, quiet. And then it's like, oh, she's out. You know, it's like, yay.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yay.

[Tamara Judge]

I'd love to see you out because then I know you're feeling better. Yeah, I. I was worried you were going to be really tired today and not feel well, but you seem to be doing pretty good.

I left my makeup on from last night.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah, it's just not working. So Rachel and Bose meet to shop. Rachel, she's funny. She's zero concept of money whatsoever. And she's just like, money's not real.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Well, she's just also so funny. I mean, we didn't even talk about, like, last week when Amanda was trying to order her coffee, and she was like, should I get a half. Half almond, half oat? And they're like, we don't have oat. And Rachel's like, live big. Have a full almond.

[Tamara Judge]

I love when she goes, am I okay? Yeah, are you okay? It's so funny. Yeah. But Bo's, she's going through with this IVF journey, and so she's going to Vegas to get her eggs retrieved. You can tell she doesn't feel good. She talks about how she's so bloated. And so after you get the eggs retrieved, does that mean you no longer have to go on hormones? You're done with the hormone?

[Teddy Mellencamp]

It depends if you want to do another round. Like, so right now she has two eggs.

[Tamara Judge]

Is that good?

[Teddy Mellencamp]

That's good. But I mean, a lot of people want to have more. I mean, you can get pregnant by just having one egg.

[Tamara Judge]

But do you know if she's doing, like, a surrogate or is she doing.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I don't know.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah. Because she has said she's had a lot of problems caring, and she's 48 years old now.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah, I know. So I. I would think that they would want to get as many eggs as they can while they can, but having two is good.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah. So nobody's really liking Amanda at all. Rachel points out how systematic Amanda is. Both thinks Amanda brought up Avi on purpose. No, of course she brought her up. Brought him up on purpose. Right.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

But also, they're talking about Amanda's job and her job.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

So confused.

[Tamara Judge]

Well, I mean, I agree with Bose. Didn't she say something like, if someone's going to teach somebody about money, shouldn't they have a job first so they can speak of it?

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah, if you're going to teach somebody about business.

[Tamara Judge]

Right.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I think is what she said. Like, shouldn't you have, like, a business degree and worked in business and. Yeah, that's the strange part.

[Tamara Judge]

Has she ever talked about what she did prior?

[Teddy Mellencamp]

She said she was. This episode. She said she was a writer. Prior writer. And she said the thing about Dur where she was like, you don't just write your book. Like, she's never heard of a ghostwriter or something. And Dorit was like, well, I mean, I don't have the time. I have a ghostwriter. And she was like, well, I just wrote my book, but I was a writer before.

[Tamara Judge]

Oh, I didn't catch that. So she's a writer for what, an Inquirer?

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.

[Tamara Judge]

Well, we do know that Amanda and Eddie have a house in Newport. I've actually seen that house online because I look for, like, rentals and stuff. I'm always looking at houses and they're like. They what? They only go out there on the weekends. They rent it for the whole year and they go out there on the weekends. So that must be nice.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah, that must be nice. How much. How much is that house?

[Tamara Judge]

A lot. It's a lot. Thousands. Thousands and thousands a month.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah, but this is where they talk about the Sedona trip. And then Eddie tells Amanda he felt Zion when she was gone. And Amanda explains how Zion died in her arms. And then Friday is the anniversary of his passing. This was really sad to me because I didn't realize that he was born and then passed.

[Tamara Judge]

I didn't either. I did not either. I didn't even know that happened. Did they? When they showed a flashback, was that unseen footage of her talking about her son passing away or did we know that? I. I don't remember hearing about it.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I feel like we knew that, but I don't. Maybe I'm wrong, huh?

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah. So something was happening with the placenta.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah. I mean, she mentioned it before, but it's it's really heartbreaking. And you can tell when they are talking about it what? The way it kind of has rocked them.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

And it being twins, I mean, it's a mother.

[Tamara Judge]

It's a parent's nightmare.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

Absolute nightmare. But I love when Amanda says, I like Erica. And then I'm thinking, p. S. She don't like you.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

She's like, I like Erica. And then. Then her husband's like, well, she hasn't crossed you more than once because nobody crosses you more than three times. What is she going to do?

[Tamara Judge]

She only gets a few more strikes before you cut a down. And they go. And they laugh at the end.

Sometimes how Amanda talks is like eerie to me. Like she's looking at you and she's

I. I have a question for you, because now it's come up a couple of times. Do you think that Garcel leaving really had anything to do with Sutton?

Kyle and Jennifer Tilly were having that conversation. I was wondering how they got to that spot, because that was an odd spot to sit, to have, like a combo.

Well, she's coming out of the bathroom.

Get her. I mean, honestly, as soon as Amanda entered the room, the lady's energy just totally shifted.

Yeah. Well, then Sutton tells Dorit that Amanda was concerned that Dorit was talking too much about the divorce.

And at this moment, we know what's happening. We know what we already know, and we know what Amanda's going through. Dorit doesn't. Dorit doesn't know what door she's walking through.

Well, I mean, Dorit could have handled things better.

So much better. Why do you have to keep going?

[Tamara Judge]

I don't understand it. I don't know. I have no idea.

I guess we got to get back to that at the end. But before that, can we talk about Sutton and Jennifer, their chat?

Oh, my God. I. I mean, at the end of the day, them talking about their feelings and all that stuff, that's what two friends should do.

They have a conversation. They should be able to chat like that. I think Jennifer downplayed it a little bit.

Oh, you think?

Right. Yeah. But also, Jennifer said something that resonated with me. She says, sudden gets a pass because everybody knows she's fragile. I've had a friend that was like that. They get away with everything, and everybody feels sorry for them because they're so fragile. But it gets annoying because at what point is it their own fault that they're so fragile?

Right.

Do something about it.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

But you could tell Jennifer did not want any issue with Sutton once she was actually confronted on it. Like, she was like, I don't even really remember saying that. And I was like, well, we just saw it. And you did say that, and you even said more.

Right, right.

And the way that Sutton remembered it was better than the way it was actually said.

Another thing that Jennifer said was after this whole situation came out with Sutton and Garcelle, she literally reevaluated her relationship with Sutton.

So that, to me, is like. So she went back this year, this season, and was like, is Sutton the friend? I think she is.

tough thing to talk about. This is a tough thing because I got a little frustrated with Amanda at the end. I felt like she should have just let It. Go, Go.

But. And then she kept getting her 2 cents in.

I know. Well, Dorit, too. Dorit, I'm sorry that this party landed on the day like this, but we'll have this conversation later, however.

And she, like, swatted her face away.

Well, I would have went. I mean, clearly dorit was wrong continuing the conversation and not, I mean, speaking about not knowing how to read a room. Dorit, stop. You should have just stopped right there. You shouldn't even.

She said it. It just. It should have been done. Should have just said, I am so sorry that it's such a hard day for you. Is there anything you want to talk about or do you, like, should we just, you know, move on and. Do you need to go. Do you need to go home? Do you want to be with your family? You don't have to be here, right?

And then she's like, I just want to go home. I want to be with Eddie. I want to cry every time she says Eddie. I'm like, nope, I don't want your husband to have that name.

You're like, that's my Eddie.

That's my Eddie. But do you. I don't know. I. I just can't get a read on this girl.

I mean, Erica said it best when she goes, this girl's bold. This girl is bold. I mean, for somebody that's just coming in, maybe she's just unaware. Like she's. You know, those people that just. About not having a filter. You're just unaware of what you're saying. There's a name for it. I'm not sure what it is, but she's just totally unaware. And she just says the things like, you don't need to say that.

Yeah, like even the way she brags about her purses or her clothes or her money or any of those things. Or the fact that her kids are never on screens. They play outside 24 7.

[Tamara Judge]

One thing I would say is if it wasn't for her, we wouldn't have much going on in the show.

Yeah, I know.

Yeah.

Because I saw kathy walking out, and then I realized kathy is going to get dorit and pull her close to try to have some sort of reconciliation. So it doesn't ev. I think all of the women knew how bad it looked.

You think?

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah. I mean, it was not like a homeless, not toothless situation.

[Tamara Judge]

No. And then what did amanda say? Something like, only one person should apologize or should feel bad or something like that. But the way she said it, only one person shut.

I know.

[Tamara Judge]

I'm like, oh, my God. She's like a. From a horror movie, the way she talks sometimes.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Do you think she's a one and done?

[Tamara Judge]

I don't know. I think it's too soon to tell. I don't think so, because I think she's getting under everybody's skin, so I don't think so.

Yeah, I mean, but she has. Is going to have to become friends with somebody.

Yes. Or bring a friend in. So she's kyle's friend. Next week looks really interesting because they go to kyle's old house. Right. Kyle and mauricio go over to the old house.

And then kyle starts crying. Do you think they'll ever get back together?

I don't know. I just really don't know.

And they do the whole flashback. I mean, Kyle's not innocent in this as well. She's getting storyline moving. But.

I mean, the way that she's talking about pk, like, she's like, I wouldn't say anything if PK wasn't on board. I'm pretty sure PK didn't want her to go on national TV and say that he was an alcoholic. Yeah, right.

Yeah. They didn't actually really give her a hand and bring up the fact that Amanda brought it up at Sutton. I mean, at Kathy's lunch.

Oh, yeah.

Because we don't know. Kathy's lunch could have been before she had dinner with Dorit. We don't know.
