I watched a good amount of them. I watched them with my dad, actually.

Oh, how fun. I could just see you guys. Was he laying in bed with you or were you downstairs?

We were downstairs and we're watching it. We were going between that and the Knicks game and what was his thought on the.

Being a musician?

He just didn't know who many people were. I was like, I neither.

[Tamara Judge]

Neither do I. I saw that Justin Bieber performed in his underwear, so I

didn't make it to Justin Bieber.

So I'm like, okay, that's a choice. Yeah, that's a choice. Shorts and socks look like underwear to me. On the. On the Instagram. On the Gram.

On the Gram. But he did look handsome in his suit. Prior.

Yeah, they both looked really good. Him and his wife.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah.

But I don't know. I. I went to the Grammys once. I was like, 22.

It's a lot of sitting around.

I got gas.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Of course. When do you not get gas?

[Tamara Judge]

So I had on, like, one of those dresses that have, like, piping or boning or something in it, and it was so tight and it was strapless that I got gas. Like the kind that's, like, doubled over, painful, trapped. So it was not an enjoyable experience for like, whatever.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

The five hours that you're sitting there,

[Tamara Judge]

it's like, oh, God.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Well, I saw Jesse from Mormon Wives was there.

[Tamara Judge]

I know those that. I swear they get all the fun stuff.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

They not. They. They haven't stopped working, I don't think.

[Tamara Judge]

Have you seen the. I would say crap she's getting on social media because she did something to her face.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Well, she does things to. She's done multiple things to her face.

[Tamara Judge]

She doesn't need to.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

She does. That's the hard part.

[Tamara Judge]

I mean, she's so young. Like, I don't think that she needs to, but I don't know what she did. Like, is it. Was it fat grafting or something? She put Fat in her face.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I don't know, but I guess it was swollen at first, but either way, people were hating on her for getting it done. But clearly she wants to get it done. But then she also had multiple boob jobs, and then she had this and then she had that. And I think it's.

[Tamara Judge]

I mean, it's one thing that she's actually talking about it and being transparent, and she's not hiding behind it. Not going on camera and being, like, a puffy face and. What'd you do? Nothing. I didn't do anything. I did it. I did a chemical pill. No, she's very transparent about it. You got to give her credit for that. But I hope she doesn't go overboard. Well, she's so beautiful.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Well, also, in her interviews, when. Not when she was talking with her therapist, she was saying how insecure she was. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's the part that worries me.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah. I mean, when. Girl. I know girls that are super insecure and constantly getting stuff done to their face, like, just obsessive.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

It's like, you don't need to do that. Like, sure. Like a tweak here and there. But when you're constantly doing things. A therapist.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I also question. I also question doctors that are willing to do things continuously.

[Tamara Judge]

Some girls go to different doctors all the time.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah. That's true.

[Tamara Judge]

Not smart.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Not.

[Tamara Judge]

But how are you doing? How you feeling?

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I'm doing okay. I. It's like it came back. Like, the emotional stuff came back, and you can hear it even in my voice.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah. You seem a little. A little down.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

What can we do to cheer you up?

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I don't know. I just. I guess this is part of living this. I know that I need to be positive, and I know that, you know, that's a positive mind, is a healthy mind, but I just. Every time it hits me down, I'm

like, how do you deal with it? I feel like you isolate.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I isolate.

[Tamara Judge]

I don't think that's a great idea.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I know. And sometimes I cry to my dad or I cry to Edwin or one of my friends.

[Tamara Judge]

Do you call your sister some?

[Teddy Mellencamp]

She cries, too, though, so I don't want. I know. Stress on her.

[Tamara Judge]

She's like, me. You're like, I ain't gonna cry to my sister or Tamara because then they'll start crying harder. Yeah, I know.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I'm like, no. Then they get upset.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

So, I mean, it's been okay. It's. It's mainly the anxiety portion and just trying to make sure that I Stay on top of it and not let it get to me the way that it is.

[Tamara Judge]

Easier said than done, right?

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah. I'm so excited. Summer house is back.

I know. Okay, so they have six new cast members. Six.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

The Aussie is hot.

[Tamara Judge]

He is. He is. I think they're all hot, but they're. I. I. Have they ever brought in six new people?

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Well, they had to. So it started. The crew is headed to the Hamptons house from New York City. We get introduced to kj, Bailey, and Lev.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah. So the two girls are, what, best friends or they met on social media. They've known each other a year or so, and they feel like they've known each other a lifetime. And then kj, now, is he. He's from Missouri. Right. And isn't west is from Missouri as well? I wonder. Did he bring him in?

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yes.

[Tamara Judge]

Oh, okay. That makes sense. But because Wes says KJ is cute, even cuter than me or something like

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I'm like, okay, but what's your initial impression of the newbies? Just from the car ride.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Just from the car ride, all I could think about was I thought that Kyle was going somewhere other than the summer house this weekend because he was acting like Amanda was leaving for two and a half months. I didn't realize it was just the drive.

[Tamara Judge]

I know. And it's weird. Like, why? I mean, I guess they wanted the girls together and the guys together, but they're married. I have concerns with Kyle. As soon as he gets the house. He's slurring his words.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I know.

[Tamara Judge]

And I feel like the entire episode he was slurring so bad, and it just made me concerned. And I know that they're going through a lot now, the two new girls, Bailey and Levi. I can't remember which one it was, but she's made for reality tv. She just.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Under the brunette.

[Tamara Judge]

I think it's a blonde. The blonde. Right. She was just talking and talking and talking and bringing up stuff and asking questions. And she was not shy one bit.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

No. She even cries. Episode one.

Yeah. Yep. So the newbies, Bailey and Levi, drive with Amanda and Sierra, and it's. It's kind of awkward because they don't even know her.

Right.

Either one of them. So it's like, put these. Pop these two girls in, and there's no organic. Like, oh, well, we were friends from this. Or I knew her from there. So that all the questions are being asked, like, where are you from?

But I felt like there was more chemistry with these two girls than there was with the girls. Last year.

[Tamara Judge]

A thousand percent.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

A thousand. Wait, who did we. We lost Lexi. And what was the other?

Lexi's best friend.

Yeah, Lexi and her best friend.

Yeah. I mean I thought. I think enough went on in the first episode that I didn't miss Paige. The first episode. But I'm sure that I will miss Paige.

Yeah. It was kind of like she was there. You know who was not there? Was Lindsay. We got a FaceTime with her. And that's it.

Yeah, we got a FaceTime with her. I know she wasn't there, but we did get to see a lot of bed talk and all the things that, you know, normally.

Right.

We get to see with the girls. So it didn't feel. I didn't notice her being gone for that long. I mean, if they're bickering like that on camera, could you imagine what it's like?

I know. Bailey gets emotional talking about the way her ex ended things with her. Do you fault Bailey for opening up so soon?

No, I actually like that these new girls are very engaged in talking and I don't. I. And they're down to earth. Yeah. So. Yeah. And not like ditzy. Like, not that somebody in the cast last year was all. Yeah.

Not. They're not just like, oh, Jesse.

Well, kj, we're finding out a lot about him, too. He talks about how he has anxiety, that he was a skateboarder, that he became a model, that he was raised around only women, so he's more comfortable around them. And I don't know, I feel like these new people are good so far.

Yeah. They're giving us a lot of information. They're giving us a lot of backstory, which we need, I think, especially when you're entering a group that has been together for so long.

[Tamara Judge]

Right. And especially since we have six new ones.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah. Well, what about when everyone heads out to the town besides Amanda and Ciara? They're in bed. And Amanda tells Ciara that she is struggling with how much Kyle goes out and drinks. Drinks after his DJ set. She also heard a rumor about him with another girl. Amanda is concerned that she's numb to it at this point. I mean, I. I don't think a DJ is ever a good idea.

44 years old and he's DJing. And what is his reason for doing it? Does he need some extra money while he's building his business? Is he doing it because he likes being out and it's an excuse for him to be out and drinking? I'm Concerned. Just in the first episode. I felt like he was slurring his words this entire episode. And by the way, what is the new trend of becoming a dj?

I think he became a DJ because he wanted a reason to go out.

Yeah. Well, remember that? Did you see that flashback where he. He was putting Amanda down for wanting to start her own business? Maybe it was her swimsuit line. I can't remember. And he's like, well, maybe I'll just go out and be a dj. Well, there you are. Did he do it out of revenge or something?

But then also not coming home?

No. It's a big fat no. You're 44 years old and you're not coming home and you're going to go sleep at fan's house. No, no. You know, we have two housewives that are DJs now. Meredith and Dorinda. I would know. Oh, and Erica, too. I could see Erica being a dj.

Just because she's a musician. I could see that happening. She's got that energy. I would have never, ever in a million years thought that Dorinda or Meredith would become a dj. No.

I think she tried for so many years and at this point like, dude, it's obviously an issue that you're out till four in the morning all the time. I wouldn't want my husband doing that. Like there's, there's a big disconnect and there's a. Like you guys aren't spending that much. Probably the most time you spend together is when you film Summer House. Yeah, that's a problem.

Also, I need to say something with 100% certainty. There is no male out there that should be wearing overalls other than Robbie Bobby.

I mean, true, true statement. I mean the fact that Kyle is unloading his marriage issues to people who aren't even on the cast.

I mean, I'm gonna say Amanda deserves better. I'm sorry, Kyle, I just don't think that, you know, I'm sure there's two sides to the story, obviously, but your whole DJing thing is going to be the demise of your marriage or has been the demise of your marriage and

it doesn't really make sense. Wasn't it like Last year that he was, like, getting his sperm checked.

Yeah. Like, I mean, he's 44. I don't know how old she is, but they're at the age where go, come on, let's have k. Let's do it.

with Amanda, I couldn't understand what he said. I felt like he was so drunk. I don't know how he drinks like that at 44 years old and is able to get up and just be like, okay, I'm good. I don't know how he does it, but I couldn't.

He kept, like, saying things to her, and she, like, at one point picked up her phone, check the time, and then put it right back down. Like, she was like, I'm now.

Yeah. I mean, Karl asked Kyle how he's doing, and Kyle explains that he feels happy when he's pressing play. Does that mean, like, when he's DJing?

Yeah.

Carl reminds him that that is because he's getting attention. So he's getting the attention his wife. I'm assuming he's saying that Amanda doesn't give any attention to him, and that's what makes him happy.

I mean, that's what a narcissist is.

But that's sad, like, that you need attention from other people to make you happy.

Like, you need to work on yourself. You can't rely on other people to make you happy. I mean, I feel like Kyle's, like, going through a midlife crisis, and he's only 44.

Yeah. And especially if he really wanted to be with Amanda, he knows what he needs to do.
