Well, you got to have a good chance to get to know her and see what your true feelings are.

Do you think I'M gonna like her.

No, I mean, I don't think that. Are there moments where she's charming and sweet? Yes, but I don't know what her over. I only know, and everybody knows this. You only know what you shoot. Right. So you know, like, I don't know what her home scenes look like. Maybe she wins there, maybe she doesn't. I don't know.

Well, I do know that she lives in Kyle's old house.

You know what I feel when I watch Tamara in this first episode? I think she feels overwhelmed and she's reacting a lot to what people are saying. Like, I feel like she feels. To me, it looks like she's overwhelmed and very reactive to anything anyone says.

And certainly Tamara has been on long enough to say, fuck this shit. I've really had it. We've all had those moments.

Andy admits that he did not think Tamara was calmer this season after her therapy.

I don't either. I agree with Andy. It's especially in this moment.

Yeah. And this. Especially in this particular moment, Shannon feels like she did not get the grace that Tamara got when she was going through the hardest time in her life. And then Shannon calls Tamara Tamara Grudge.

If Shannon hit a house and committed a crime, Tamara's just having a breakdown.

Yeah. Those are two very different things.

Here's the thing. I think that's where we're getting at, is, like, every. I don't know. I can't speak for these women, but, like, Shannon hit a house, could have put other people in danger. Blah, blah, blah. Tamara's just blowing up. Tamara.

Yeah. She's at her wit's end.

Right. That's, you know, not. It's not affecting anyone else. I mean. You know what I mean?

I was a little shocked at that, too. And then everybody was like, oh, my.

Then Andy asked Heather why she said Tamara's name when asked who she wouldn't share sensitive information with at her sleepover party. Heather explains that it was because of Tamara's inconsistent and unpredictable nature.

So why. And I liked the way Tamara reacted to Heather here.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I did, too.

[Erika Jayne]

And I'm curious. Tamara must value Heather's observation or her friendship or something. Like, I don't think she feels as judged by Heather as everyone else.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Cause I think Heather understands what Tamara's actually having to do.

[Erika Jayne]

Yes, she's the. Yes, you're right.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I think she knows that.

[Erika Jayne]

Like, she knows what's really going on here.

Yeah. And I think that Heather had a conversation with her earlier in the season, and they talked about it, and I think Tamara did take that in.

Yeah. It's nice to see Tamara react to Heather like that, because that's the Tamra that, you know.

That's the Tamra that is one of my besties.

Right. And that moment there. And unfortunately, when she's reactive, we don't get to see that.

But that's a nice moment for her because the other moments were very reactive and loud and just like.

Yeah, a lot. It was a lot. Then Tamara and Shannon discussed what happened with Tamara's comments about Shannon's dad.

Yep. But, yeah, because she's pissed. She made the comments under her breath saying that Shannon didn't care about her dad, only herself. But then they did. Gave us a little flashback.

Of Shannon saying it, not it. She said someone in my family.

[Erika Jayne]

She did say someone in my family. And I mean, did Tamara know that it was her dad or what did.

I'm assuming they probably talked about it.

Yes. Shannon gets emotional and says her dad told her two weeks ago that she is the only reason he is still living and he is an older man. And I'm sure that that's hard.

I think this is the problem. I know Tamara's trying to make a point that Shannon already brought up her own family's drinking on camera. But this is an issue she's not going to win.

I agree with that.

Yeah. Like, it's. She's not going to win it.

Yeah. Then Andy brings up the conversation of Katie and the bloggers this season. Katie says she is shocked and pleasantly surprised by all the love she got online after the live detector test episode.

Well, you know, you have experience in a lie detector. I mean, I do too. Like on the show. Maybe this is because I'm on the inside.

Yeah.

I'm shocked that Katie got the online love.

I think she got the online love because it felt like everybody was turning against her.

But maybe she gave them all a reason to do so. You know, when you're on a show like this, if it. Like, let's assume. Okay, so let's take. Let's assume that she was talking to bloggers. Yeah, I wouldn't like that.

But I don't think Emily was setting her up by having the lie detector test. I think basically, I think this is the sh.

The show likes to do lie detector test. And as the audience, the viewing audience, we all know that.

Yeah. So let's not production tell me I'm hosting a lie detector and that's what I did.

And I'm only. And I love the way that they said, why is it only this guy? And the answer was, because he's one of the few people that will appear on camera. So, I mean, I love the way they cleaned that up. Don't think I didn't catch that.

But Emily being like, there's an 86% chance of.

And it's not admissible in court. She had her stats down.

Yep. Kiki Monique. I feel like Katie made a choice to not bring it up on camera to Gina. Kiki is the one who chose to use the information to make Katie look bad. Because think about it. Katie didn't bring it up.

She underperformed for me, especially with who came and sat down in that chair and I interviewed with.

Yeah. I mean, reunions are tough. Maybe she got intimidated.

No, I think, you know, well, you have a lot to answer for. An entire cast does not want to shoot with you, and they stopped you shooting with them in the middle of the season.

You know, so there's. If I was Katie, I would feel a certain way walking into that room, knowing that people did not trust me, knowing that I was stopped from participating in this show midway, but my ass would have been fighting and cussing. And she sat there.

She sat there. And this is also where I wish some of the women would have said to her what we heard in the press, which is that she participates more with online people than she does the cast. The cast. Like, if somebody would have said that to her face, I'm curious what her.

Response would have been. Maybe they do. We are just the first episode, she doesn't go away. Right. Like, she's. Does she sit there the whole time? So maybe we're not there yet because her husband does come on the next time. So maybe. And I'm. I am. I am interested in seeing this now. I'm interested. No, I notice. I didn't want to see him the entire season, but now I want to see what he has to say about how many times people called.

Everyone is tired of him. Then Emily opens up about everything going on with her son. Emily explains that after the show aired, many moms reached out to her to see if Luke possibly had pandas, the bacteria from strep throat that Affects the brain and leads to our brains.

We have a friend whose daughter has pandas. Yes. I didn't know about it until our friend. And it's. Apparently, it's really bad.

Yeah, it's. It can affect so many.

Well, I think. But that's what you're doing. You know, Gretchen's. Gretchen's point is to say, well, look at all the bad things that Tamara's done. And then Tamara's like, well, actually. So this is a back and forth. I personally don't think there's any resolution here.

I don't think there's any. There's no moving forward. There's no resolution. I do not think these women like each other. I think that Shannon and Tamara like each other more than Tamara and Gretchen.

And that's okay. But it runs its course and it can't just be a one trick pony the entire time. Like I said in the beginning, I would have loved had Gretchen come in and been more friendly to Tamara. Try to put the past behind.

The couch conversation. I think the couch conversation has twisted everything. I twisted everything around and got everybody all pissed at Tamara when. Even though I didn't like to see.

Tamara walk in with Katie, she's strong enough to walk in on her own. She doesn't need to walk in with Katie.

I realize that.

Yeah, I would have liked to have seen Tamara walk in on her own.

I would have liked that she. You don't need to walk in with Katie. And Katie needs to walk in on her own, too.

Right. And clean up whatever she's got to clean up, say whatever she's got to say. Tamara's, you know, a lead on the show for a long time, as is, like, Shannon, Heather, you know, I just. I didn't. I didn't like that pairing. I didn't think it fit.

I don't think that Katie had some redemption arc here.

Not yet. Not in this first episode. Now, I don't know what's coming in two and three, but so far, no.

So, I mean, I think here's the thing. I thought it was a good episode. It flew by.

Well, I think Andy has the patience of Job and with all of us. Can you imagine, like, that being Andy Cohen and having to sit there with all of these reunions, not just Housewives, but like, all of the other show. To fielding all of these questions and calming all these personalities down. Trying to.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Somebody in your ear.

Yes. A thousand people talk. I love the way Alex Baskin was. Alex was like, no, I didn't. Good for you, Alex. No, I did not.

Right. Alex Baskin just said he did not do that. As a matter of fact, he just called me. No, just say he really did not do that. But, no, I think that Andy does a great job of, you know, fielding all of these questions. Obviously, he's got people in his ear, and he's having to control the tempo and the questions of all these women on these couches. That is an exhausting thing.

But I thought it was a good episode. I hope to see some shifts in personality for episode two.

Yeah. I'm excited to see where the Katie thing unfolds. I do want Jen to speak up. You know, you're sitting there next to Andy for a reason. What is that reason? What was that reason? What was the reason? I need to see her speak. I need to see. Let's see. What else do I think is gonna happen? I'm not quite sure, but I need Jen. I need to hear your voice.

I think they're expecting a lot out of Matt and Katie, and I'm probably not gonna get it.
