So we start out the episode with a flash forward, which I always love. A flash forward.

But it's Gina thinking that Tamara and Shannon made good progress, but then it went left. Tamara, Emily, and Jen also discuss the trips. And Emily tells them that Gretcher's has loose lips when she drinks Fireball.

And then they show a little pan of Tamara flipping out, flipping off Gretcher's.

Who held her wrists, which at all. Then I would have come unglued. I have some. I have. I have an opinion about that whole scene.

Yeah, I agree. And I thought fireball was, like, 10, 15 years ago. Is anybody still doing it?

Apparently the people that still talk about things that only happen 10 to 15.

Years ago are stuck in there and they're still drinking Fireball. I thought we'd moved on. I don't even. I don't even drink anymore. Well, you know, I didn't drink in my entire 30s. I've never been, like, a big drinker, but when I was going through the worst, I was drinking at 9am because who wanted to be alive? But my point is I don't miss drinking. I only drink when we do the show. I only drink what I do. Housewives, you're like.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

That tells you something.

Yeah.

I swear to God, I seasonal drinking four months out of the year.

Oh, I threw up on Jager bombs when I was 16.

It's just a straight shot. It's just a cinnamon flavored whiskey. Slash bourbon. Or I think it. Is it bourbon? It's whiskey. It's one of them. Yeah. See, it's very.

None of us even know.

Well, there was antifreeze in it, which is so everybody had to quit drinking it, but I guess, yeah, it's cinnamon flavored whiskey. But there's so many. I like whiskey. But there's so many good whiskeys to drink other than this one. It feels very frat party.

Four to eight hours earlier, Jen and Ryan discuss their wedding plans. Jen brings up Temecula and how she and Gina had to talk Shannon into riding home with them.

I saw that.

Yeah.

Why? What's with the not talking?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Could you imagine going that long of a trip without a word?

[Erika Jayne]

No, not on our cast. I mean, come on, you were there.

I mean, there are car camps.

Yeah. Remember when you used to eat Tums and throw up when you were pregnant with Dove?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Yeah, I do eat Tums and throw up. That should be.

She's pregnant with Dove and we should have to roll down the window anytime we got in a car because you'd vomit. And I felt so bad for you. But then I started eating Tums. I had no idea how many was eight Tums.

Yeah, antacids. They were good for us.

It's how we got through. But in this moment, Ryan says he gives Shannon credit because she tried with Tamara and now she's out. But he also seemed almost like.

He's a nice guy. Yeah, he's a nice guy.

Ryan seems nice. Like, everybody seems nice. I just don't like it when they get in this thing.

But Eddie, I think, does a good job of just saying, like, you know, he. He has his feelings. He's been around these as he should be surprised.

And they've said some horrible things about him.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Yeah. And he says that, you know, he thinks that Shannon, you know, I'm gonna paraphrase, but Shannon's not necessarily malicious. She's just Shannon.

She's just Shannon. He's cutting her a nice break, actually.

Yeah. And he's saying that Gretchen is actually terrible.

Well, I get that.

Evil. He used the word evil.

Evil is strong. Because I'm sure she feels evil to you, Eddie. No, and I'm not trying to take away anything like that from anybody. But yeah, he's basically saying, look, this is how Shannon is. But Gretchen is actively trying to do shit. God, can you believe, like, staying up actively trying to hurt somebody. Like, I am an asshole, but only I'm reactive. Like, I don't stay up at night and think of ways to scheming on.

Days to hurt people.

[Erika Jayne]

I don't. It's not the way my brain works. Now, I'll defend myself and be a total bitch, but I don't lay at night away, like at night and think of ways to, like, how can I hurt you? How can I. Right? How can I hurt someone? Or how. What do I know? Or what would be hurtful? I just don't do that.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

And then pretend that you're not.

And then pretend that you're not. That way I would have had a lot more respect. And I'm jumping ahead here. When we get to the. The shooting place, which I have a real problem with that place, but. And don't set these girls up to being robbed like that.

I didn't like that either. Tell you something.

We live in a very violent city. And first off, don't do that. If you've ever been a victim of crime or if you have anybody in law enforcement, don't. Don't do that.

That was frightening.

I thought it was bad on productions part. I thought it was bad on the school's part. I thought it was bad on the women's part. If I had been there and you did some shit to me like that, I would have left and I'd have been like, let me fucking tell you right now, as a victim of crime, don't ever fucking do that shit to me again.

Yeah.

Don't ever, ever, ever do that to me again.

You could see the fear in Tamara and Gina's face.

I could see her moving across the thing.

Yeah, we were always flip flopping around.

Here's the thing I don't like. Gretchen says she's kept her mouth shut forever. Tamara questions this and Gretchen says about all the. I know about you. Yeah. And Tamara responds, what do you know about me and Graham? Gretchen says Tamara doesn't want her to talk because it will get ugly. Tamara flips Gretchen off and storms out. Okay, so let me explain something to you. Please do not ever try to shame another woman or threaten another woman like this. This is bad. What I know about you. What are you saying?

I mean, excuse me, Tamara shouldn't have gotten in her face. Number one, that's problem right there. Number two, when Gretchen grabs her, that's a problem. You can't. That is a total escalation. You're escalating. You're escalating the situation until somebody's gonna put their hands on somebody. I so wish it would have happened. Come on, Lara Croft, let's see what you got with that ponytail. Can you imagine Tamara pulled that ponytail out?

Just notice. How fun. But I would have been mad, too. And don't touch me. The thing is, this is clearly not a hey, it's okay kind of moment. This is an aggressive thing. Don't ever. You shouldn't be in her face, flipping her off. You shouldn't be holding her wrists, screaming and yelling at each other. While I don't think it's great, I think it's not great behavior to me. To me, it's different than putting your hands holding somebody. Like, that's where we start to escalate things beyond control.

But also the fact that we're talking about these things that happened so long ago.

But, yeah, as an audience member, I'm tired.
