I don't know what's going on, and I don't think we're the only people. Like, we're not the only two. I've had a couple of friends say that they weren't sleeping well either. I just. I keep waking up in the middle of the night. You?

The same. I'm falling asleep. Then I wake up in the middle of the night, and then I fall back asleep, and then I wake up really early.

[Erica Jane]

What are you. Are you a 6am? Yeah, I normally am a 6am yeah, I'm 6am too. It used to be 4:30.

Yeah. See, that's what I've been doing recently.

What do you do? Do you. I used to. You know, what would put me back to. Well, I made a commitment to get up at 4:30, but I used to read a lot.

It's the second holiday, but it's the first holiday where I'm like. Not with tumors.

You see what I'm saying? So, like, I wasn't myself.

Not that I'm myself now, but like.

Well, you're a different self.

Yeah. So it's like Edwin's like, oh, you know, whatever it is that you want to do. And. But then it's like there's this part of me that I'm like. I don't feel like I'm Doing anything well enough right now.

Yeah, but you've been through a lot. Like, you don't need to do that to yourself. You really can't do that to yourself. You don't need to put yourself under that kind of pressure. I know these kids are going to have a great holiday season. You're going to have a great Thanksgiving and a great Christmas. Don't do that to yourself. Like, as your friend, please don't. That's the last thing you need right now. I know it's hard, but it's the last thing you need right now. You've come so far, and you're doing so well, and I just don't want you to see, you know, beat up on yourself.

Yeah.

I gotta say, this episode was rough.

I thought it was a little snoozy.

But for the hot tubs in the. That the crock pot.

I want to know who peed in there. All of them. I Mean. Cause how long do you think they were in the crock pot?

I just. Just watching that made me think, what if they had tried to do this to me?

I can't imagine sitting in one of those.

[Erica Jane]

I fucking die. But you know what I do love about this cast is that they're all in their swimsuits.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Yeah, they're.

They're all out there.

They're all like, okay, let's do it.

Our girls would have been like, no, absolutely not.

A canal, trying to steer our way around.

Somebody hit the fucking. I mean, the boat. No, but that was the best part. That and the tulips.

Yeah, that was. It was the funniest part, because there was actually laughter.

We actually were able to laugh and have fun for a minute, but it quickly passed.

It starts out where Heather and Gina take mushrooms before heading to the tulip field.

Question for you. Have you ever taken mushrooms?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I haven't.

Ooh. So much fun.

I know. I heard it's so fun.

But you would really like it. It's very euphoric and really comforting. And then the colors are, like, really.

Vibrant, and then it takes down your anxiety. Right, Totally. See, that's the part that sounds pretty good to me, but the fact that only two of them took made it hard to balance out.

Well, those were the only two that were having a good time.

Everybody else was just kind of glowing through it, but the girls. Glowing through it, you know? But everybody else, you know, Heather and Gina were really vibrant.

Yeah, they were.

Mushrooms are fun like that.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I mean, I kind of wish maybe Shannon would have taken one so she could trip over something other than, like, her foot or her toenail hurting.

Yeah, the blisters.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

The blisters. I've got to understand if this is like, a shtick. Yeah. I really need to know. I need to know.

[Erica Jane]

I mean, I. You know. Okay.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Yeah. Well, the girls all sit down for lunch, and Gina brings up Alexis's wedding. Okay, so what are your thoughts on this in general? Like, if Jen would have gone to. Gone to the wedding.

[Erica Jane]

Yes.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Or said that she was close with Alexis. Does Shannon have a right to be upset if this is the part that we need to remember if Shannon and Alexis never were on the show together.

[Erica Jane]

Well, why does that mean anything?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Because it's not like she stole her boyfriend that she had.

[Erica Jane]

Oh, no, this is more to me. This is more. Look, everybody has a Right to do. We're all you. You have free will. Like Andy Cohen says, you have free will so you can be friends with whomever you want to be. But if I were Shannon and Jen, who I just threw a fucking. What did she throw? A reception. Like a shower that she didn't want. And then I. Then I find out that she's seeing my arch nemesis, you know, for lunch, Alexis. I would immediately put Jenna arm's length.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Right? Yeah.

[Erica Jane]

Do you know what I'm saying? I would immediately put her at arm's length. I don't know. I'd be like, huh. I don't think this is. I don't know that I can trust that situation. That's just how I would operate. I'd be like, okay, well, this doesn't feel good. So logically, I'm gonna put myself at arm's length.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Well, Shannon saying she didn't know that Alexis and Jen were friends. And then Gina calls Jen and Shannon's friendship.

[Erica Jane]

Well, why does Gina call Jen and Shannon's friendship fake? What does she know that I don't know.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I think it's because Jen kind of speaks out of both sides of her mouth.

[Erica Jane]

Well, I think Jen is trying to please everybody.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Yeah.

[Erica Jane]

Which Emily really gets into later on.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Yeah.

[Erica Jane]

And I think that that's, you know, what I took away is that. And everyone kind of says that Jen is, you know, in the middle trying to please everybody, but doesn't really. No one really knows how she feels. Yeah, but does Jen know how she feels is really what it comes down to.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

And who would Jen rather hang out with? She's saying right here, Shannon.

[Erica Jane]

Right. But, you know. Yeah, this is. Okay, then the girls get in their hot tub boats. I'm telling you, I would have died. It's like a crab pot. Emily put Tamara and Gretchen with her on the hot tub boat, and it is her last effort to try to get them to resolve. Well, boat one is Emily, Tamara, and Gretchen. Boat two is Shannon, Jen, Heather, and Gina. Does this seem like something you would like to do?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I mean, it's something I probably would do. Really, if forced. Not if forced. I mean, I know we have free will, but, like, if I was.

[Erica Jane]

No, you don't.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I mean, well, if it was, I would do it, but I don't know that I would want to do it in these circumstances.

[Erica Jane]

I just am going to go on the record here. I will not be doing this. I just looked at them in their swimsuits and I just wanted to be like, oh, my God. And they Were having a good time and floating down the canal. And I don't want to be in a hot tub on a boat inside of a canal with somebody I don't like.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Well, most of them didn't even put full bodies in. Right.

[Erica Jane]

Would you?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

No.

[Erica Jane]

I mean, no.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

And I think Tamara and maybe it was. Heather had tops.

[Erica Jane]

Like, like pants.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

They had pants on.

[Erica Jane]

Yeah.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I just, I like, I'm not getting.

I'm not getting in this water.

I don't want to. I don't. I mean, I. This is one of those excursions where you just go, what the fuck is this? Like, what shady producer decided that we should get in a hot tub boat and float down the canal?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

And it has to be Tamara's idea.

[Erica Jane]

And it has to be Tamara's idea to do it. And here's the other thing. Like, please. You know, the cool part about being on these shows is that you get to see things and do things you wouldn't normally do. But this isn't. This is not what I'm talking about.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

No, I also understand how. What the water temperature was. Was it actually a hot tub? Was it actually warm?

[Erica Jane]

What season was it?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Well, we know they were hot because at that lunch with the tulips, they were like, woo, it's hot here. And then they said, wish we could have done a cold plunge instead of go to a hot tub. So I think it was hot at the time that they were there. Which if this was.

[Erica Jane]

That's even worse. You're in a hot tub in the hot. And the heat.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Heat in the middle of that.

[Erica Jane]

No shade to Amsterdam. But that water was not the cleanest. It looked like Georgia lake water.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Yeah, it did. It didn't look like it's somewhere you wanted to be.

[Erica Jane]

No sitting around.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

But Jen asked if she and Shannon are okay. Shannon remembers Jen telling her three weeks ago that if Alexis invited her to a wedding, she probably wouldn't go. Yeah.

[Erica Jane]

But you know, I. I feel like when.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Sometimes when Jen talks, she doesn't know what the truth is at that current time.

[Erica Jane]

Do you think she's forgetting or it's convenient?

[Teddi Mellencamp]

I think it's convenient. But I also think and believe, like, I like watching Jen, you know, but I think that sometimes she can say things solely because she doesn't want to hurt somebody's feelings.

[Erica Jane]
