This is the Eds with Eddie Judge and Edwin Arroyave.
Eddie Judge
All right, welcome back to the Ed's Podcast. I'm Eddie Judge and I have a special guest. She's always special because she's always my guest on the podcast. This is my wife, Tamara Judge.
Tamara Judge
Hey.
Eddie Judge
Hey.
Tamara Judge
I'm always special.
Eddie Judge
You're always special. In my world, you're always special.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Eddie Judge
Welcome to the Ed's podcast.
Tamara Judge
Thank you. Well, today we're doing a special episode about Valentine's Day.
Eddie Judge
Yes. Love is in the Air. Okay, let's talk about how much love we got.
Tamara Judge
Oh, well, what day is it?
Eddie Judge
How far back do we need to go? Well, yesterday, because a week ago I
Tamara Judge
didn't love you and next week you might not either.
Eddie Judge
No, I love you all the time, baby. I do. So we have some questions we have to go through.
Tamara Judge
These are all kind of fan questions.
Eddie Judge
Yeah, they're all fan questions that people want to know. A lot of them you can just Google and you have the answers.
Tamara Judge
Well, a lot of them were filmed. Our whole entire relationship has been on camera. By the way, could you imagine our relationship any different? Like, literally, I met you and then I threw you on camera, and before you knew it. Like, the question that's always asked about the bathtub scene, literally, is like one of the first times you ever filmed. Like, we've never had a relate. Well, I shouldn't say that because I was fired. For two years, we were normal people. For two years, we were just normal people.
Eddie Judge
Wow. Civilians.
Tamara Judge
I know. So it's crazy that our whole relationship has been on camera from the time we met to the time we got married.
Eddie Judge
You know what? The only thing that really stands out the most about that whole experience is that I can't around, I fart, you know, I turn left, you know, I go to the bathroom, you know, and you tell everybody.
Tamara Judge
I tell everybody everything.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. I mean, do you remember the first
Tamara Judge
time you can you talk about effing around? Because what do you mean by that?
Eddie Judge
No, like, I can't even go have lunch with a friend who's a female because a fan will go by and send you a text message. She's with another girl.
Tamara Judge
Oh, I know.
Eddie Judge
You're like, yeah, I know. It's. It's. It's one of our members.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. Yeah. That used to happen. When you're at Cut fitness, I get DMs. I see Eddie at the Mexican restaurant and he's with some girl. I'm like, yeah, that's our trainer. And, you know, you can't wait. What you should say is, you can't get away with anything.
Eddie Judge
I can't get away with anything.
Tamara Judge
Well, you know, I have eyes in the back of my head as well.
Eddie Judge
Right. But even if I'm speaking more specifically as a public person, I don't want to say celebrity because I'm not like you. But as a public person, I can't go to Vegas and pretend I'm somebody else and, you know, do all those crazy things you do in Vegas. And it stays in Vegas. It doesn't stay in Vegas.
Tamara Judge
This is funny that you're talking about these type of things, the things you never do, which is around and going to Vegas. I know you're trying to hype it up like you're some, like, wild guy.
Eddie Judge
I was before I met you for about a day.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. You ain't a wild guy. For one thing, I don't have to worry about you.
Eddie Judge
That's true.
Tamara Judge
All you want to do is ride your motorcycle now.
Eddie Judge
Yeah, yeah.
Tamara Judge
More. Ride your motorcycle and work out.
Eddie Judge
But the point is, is that we, even together, we can't do anything. When we had Cut Fitness, when we launched Cut Fitness, I crossed our T's, dotted our I's and made sure everything was kosher and legal and on the
Tamara Judge
streets because, well, that's how we live our life.
Eddie Judge
Well. Well, you know, sometimes you have to walk the gray area, but at the same time, you have to. You have to do things right. Here's a perfect example. When we ended up closing Cut Fitness, we didn't owe anybody any money.
Tamara Judge
Right.
Eddie Judge
We didn't have creditors coming after us. We didn't screw anybody. And that's.
Tamara Judge
Well, we really shouldn't be on Housewives, should we?
Eddie Judge
Right. We're not in jail. We're not stealing old people's money. We're not getting investigated by the FBI. You know.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. We're just normal freaking people.
Eddie Judge
Just normal people. But. Oh, my God. But, yeah, it's been an interesting experience. More so that I have fallen in love with you every day, every year since we met. Deeper and deeper and deeper. And I never thought that that was possible.
Tamara Judge
Really?
Eddie Judge
Yeah. I. In the beginning, I thought it was just, hey, I'm just going to hook up with this chick and say goodbye.
Tamara Judge
Making yourself sound like a baller now?
Eddie Judge
I'm. I'm so in love with you. I can't imagine life without you.
Tamara Judge
Oh, that's sweet. That's super sweet. Ditto.
Eddie Judge
So deep. So deep. Oh, man.
Tamara Judge
Do you expect anything else from me? I'm a girl. A few words?
Eddie Judge
No.
Tamara Judge
Unless I'm mad.
Eddie Judge
Exactly.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Eddie Judge
So some of the questions. Tamara, were you nervous to date again after your divorce? Um.
Tamara Judge
No. Not at all. No.
Eddie Judge
Okay.
Tamara Judge
I mean, it's like, I wasn't in a happy relationship, and I felt, like, trapped, and I felt uncomfortable and miserable and, like. No, I wanted to meet somebody that I just didn't know I'd meet him so soon.
Eddie Judge
Okay, let's go back, describe the feelings you had when you met me, and then I'll talk about the feelings I
Tamara Judge
Well, I think we had the same feelings. I. Like, we've talked about this a million times. It's like those feelings when you. They say in the movies, like, oh, I saw him the first time and I saw stars and all that stuff definitely was a connection.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
Can't even deny that. And then as time goes on, like, we just have been inseparable for the past 16 years.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
Can you believe that?
Eddie Judge
That we haven't killed each other? I mean, that we've been together that long?
Narrator (The 6th Bureau / Burden of Guilt)
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
The night is young, baby.
Eddie Judge
Oh, boy. Okay, another question. What was it about me that made you want to pursue me?
Tamara Judge
I just. Because you're a nice guy. I mean, you're obviously good looking, but you were just a nice guy. You weren't. Obviously. You're good looking.
Eddie Judge
Oh, you're just like me.
Tamara Judge
Yes. And I like, my douche radar is really high. Like guys that are douchey, like, no, no, I can't. Cannot. This is such a turnoff to me. Even today when we had lunch, you had your glasses on inside the restaurant. I go, you look like a douche. And you took them off.
Eddie Judge
You did? Yeah.
Narrator (The 6th Bureau / Burden of Guilt)
Okay.
Eddie Judge
Okay, next question. When did you know you wanted to marry me?
Tamara Judge
I think pretty quickly. No, no, no, I think pretty quickly. I think that we had many conversations. Remember sitting. I don't know why I remember this, but I remember being in your ca. Early on. That's where your office was in the casita, the house that we actually live in now. And we talked about getting married one day, and it was really early in the relationship.
Eddie Judge
Really?
Tamara Judge
Yeah. And I'm like, oh, wow, he wants to marry me. So we had little conversations and then you proposed. But I think it was, I don't know, two years.
Eddie Judge
Three. Three years into it.
Tamara Judge
I don't think we got married until three years into it. But maybe after a year you proposed and then we waited a couple years to get married. I might be wrong on that, but I don't know. I know that we were together three years.
Eddie Judge
I just remembered that we were talking about getting married and then Bravo got wind of it and they wanted to film it all, and I didn't want to film it. I didn't want anything to do with that.
Tamara Judge
And, well, we were done filming. Right. Weren't we done filming for the season?
Eddie Judge
I think so. I think it was after the second year I filmed because the first year was okay. They made me look like a hero. The second year they screwed me.
Tamara Judge
Made you look like a zero.
Eddie Judge
Exactly. They took me back down to zero. And I said this is bull.

You know, it feels like we have a real connection.
Tamara Judge
All right, I'll stop, get a commercial

Amanda Knox

Narrator (The Case of Lucy Letby)

Amanda Knox
Everyone thought they knew how it ended. A verdict. A villain, a nurse named Lucy Letby.
Tamara Judge
Lucy Letby has been found guilty.
Amanda Knox
But what if we didn't get the whole story?
Narrator (The Case of Lucy Letby)
The moment you look at the whole picture, the case collapses.
Amanda Knox
I'm Amanda Knox and in the new podcast, the Case of Lucy Letby, we follow the evidence and hear from the people that lived it. To ask what really happened when the world decided who Lucy Letby was.
Tamara Judge
No voicing of any skepticism or doubt.
Narrator (The Case of Lucy Letby)
It'll cause so much harm at every
Narrator (The 6th Bureau)
single level of the British establishment of this is wrong.

Special Agent Riegel / Special Agent Bradley Hall
I now have several terabytes of an MSS officer. No doubt, no question of his life. And that's a Unicorn.
Tamara Judge
No one had ever seen anything like that. It was unbelievable.
Narrator (The 6th Bureau)
This is a story of the inner workings of the MSS and how one man's ambition and mistakes opened its vault of secrets.

Tamara Judge
Let's talk about getting married on tv. I think we both had a little bit of hesitation, maybe you more than me, because I've lived my life so openly on reality TV at that time for so many years. So we.
Eddie Judge
I didn't know what to expect. Well, I know I expected this housewife bitch fight, you know, at our wedding. And I like cake throwing and all
Tamara Judge
that bullshit that goes on tv, so. Because we did think that, we also thought, like, we'll just go to Mexico or something and get married on the beach. Something really simple.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
Just with the family. And we planned on it up until actually the wedding was over. We're like. It was so amazing. We don't. We can't even. We can't even redo this.
Eddie Judge
But the whole experience leading up to the actual wedding day was not dramatic. It was just like. It was a good story. Yeah. I mean, we had our little differences about how much money we were gonna spend on a wedding, but overall, it just. It was such a magical day. Standing there at the altar, waiting for you to walk up and not cry.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. By the way, my wedding ring is 16 years old.
Eddie Judge
That's nice. It's got a good value.
Tamara Judge
I'm just saying.
Eddie Judge
Yeah, I can clean it for you.
Tamara Judge
It could be a little outdated.
Eddie Judge
I got some tools at Home Depot that will take care of.
Tamara Judge
Oh, my God.
Eddie Judge
Why do you want a nude ring? It's the same sentimental ring you had when we. And it's a small condo, remember?
Tamara Judge
I know, but I don't know. Now I like just a thin band with just a big oval diamond on it.
Eddie Judge
I tell you what, keep the ring. We'll change the house. Okay.
Tamara Judge
Oh, my gosh.
Eddie Judge
Why do you want a new ring? I don't get it.
Tamara Judge
Okay, options, baby, options.
Eddie Judge
Other questions? Do you have plans to renew your vows again anytime soon? Well, no, I'd rather I've seen. Renew their vows. Ends up.
Tamara Judge
It's a kiss of death.
Eddie Judge
It's a kiss of death.
Tamara Judge
So it's like a last ditch effort. It's like having that child, you know, 10 years after your last one, and it's like to keep the marriage or something, and then it all falls apart and you're stuck with it.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
You're Stuck with a kid.
Eddie Judge
What is. Wait a minute.
Tamara Judge
Stuck with a kid. I would rather eat worms and down it with piss than get. Than renew my vows.
Eddie Judge
Thank you for that. That's a good visual.
Tamara Judge
I'm just saying I just don't have any desire to do that.
Eddie Judge
You may just have to if I want to renew our vows.
Tamara Judge
You don't want to renew. You don't like the attention on you? I don't like the attention on me. I don't like being, like, you know, having these big, giant formal parties. I just. I don't know. We did do. We did participate in a giant vow renewal. Where were we?
Eddie Judge
It was.
Tamara Judge
I was gonna say arugula, but that's a lettuce.
Eddie Judge
Aruba.
Tamara Judge
Aruba, yeah. It's not arugula. It's aruba.
Eddie Judge
Arugula.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. Yeah. We just participated in this big, like, fun where everybody was on the beach and it was a big party and
Eddie Judge
there was arugula everywhere.
Tamara Judge
Arugula everywhere.
Eddie Judge
That was a fun trip. We had the kids with us.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, we had the kids, and it was. Yeah, it was a good trip.
Eddie Judge
Okay, so no renewal valves. Thank you so much. Next question. Who is the first to apologize? Me.
Tamara Judge
But I don't want to.
Eddie Judge
No, I think it's mutual. Sometimes it's you, sometimes it's me.
Tamara Judge
Maybe it's mutual. Yeah. You're getting better at it.
Eddie Judge
I am. I am. What is your favorite thing to do together?
Tamara Judge
I think everything. We do everything together. But working out, obviously. We eat together, we eat together, we sleep together, we go to Big Bear together. We are together so much.
Eddie Judge
We are together.
Tamara Judge
And if I haven't killed you yet, it's just not going to happen.
Eddie Judge
Mutual, I should say. Ditto.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, ditto.
Amanda Knox
Our.
Tamara Judge
Our offices are right next to each other.
Eddie Judge
I know, and I hear you every time I'm trying to work.
Tamara Judge
Well, I'm sorry, but I have to do podcasts five days a week. So now Sophia is going to be moving out into her own apartment, and, gosh, less than two weeks. And so you're moving your office to the casita.
Eddie Judge
Yes.
Tamara Judge
So I think that'll be great for you.
Eddie Judge
Yeah, I know, because you want my old office as your new closet.
Tamara Judge
I'm going to make it a whole walk in closet.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. All right, next question. After 12 years of marriage, how has your love evolved to what it is today?
Tamara Judge
I don't. That's a tough question. When relationships start out, they're hot and they're steamy, and they're this and you're Going out and you're drinking wine, you're eating bread. You're doing all the things. And then you. Fat. Yeah, you get fat. And then you get. You get the love chub. And then.
Eddie Judge
And then the paparazzi takes a picture of your ass.
Tamara Judge
And then you're like, we got to go on diets now.
Eddie Judge
Yes. And then, you know, we are.
Tamara Judge
And then the relationship matures. And this is when a lot of people split, because those things were all, you know, great in the beginning, but then it kind of evolves, and you. You're doing different things. You're doing, you know, household things and domestic stuff, domestic stuff and family stuff. And, you know, things change a little bit. They slow down the. The. The. You know, the wind.
Eddie Judge
Interesting. You say that. That. That this is where people split up, because we're almost at that place where
Tamara Judge
we should split up.
Eddie Judge
No, we're comfortable. We've lived such an exciting life. I think it was. Been pretty exciting, you know, with. With my life with you and together. What we've done together. We used to travel a lot more until Covid hit or until we got a dog, and. Well, we got a dog and we got a mountain house. So we have to, you know, visit the mountain house. Otherwise, I'm not going to get my money's worth. Okay, okay, okay. But I love our mountain house.
Tamara Judge
I do, too.
Eddie Judge
Yeah, I love it. But no, to your point, I think what's next for us?
Tamara Judge
To your point? It's our money.
Eddie Judge
It's what?
Tamara Judge
Our money, not my money. You said. You said my money.
Eddie Judge
Oh, it's our money. Yeah, but what are you talking about? I said that.
Tamara Judge
Yes, you did.
Eddie Judge
Rewind that. I want to. I want to hear that again. Replay. I don't remember saying that. But, no, it's what's next for us if we're at that point where we're.
Tamara Judge
Well, we're at a breaking point. Not a breaking point. We're at a very transition point because I've been raising kids for 40 years. Ryan turned 40 this year or last year. So Sophia is 20, and she is now moving out. So now we're like, what do we do? Where do we go? Do we keep the house? Do we. Do we move somewhere? Like, for me, I want to be adventurous. I want to go move to Italy or move to Spain for six months and see what happens there. And, you know, what's next? Maybe we get an RV and we travel. You know, we were lucky that we have, I would say, the freedom, I guess you call it financial freedom to Be able to not have to go to a 9 to 5 job, you know, and to be able to go do these things and go travel and do all that. So, yeah, I would like to do that. And then, you know, there's going to come a time where, you know, Sophia is going to start having kids and Spencer's going to start having kids. And, you know, I want to be able to be there and around that and help out and all those things. So we're going to be turning into old people real soon. I'm talking 10 years from now, 15 years from now, but who knows?
Eddie Judge
20? Can I have 20? Can I make 20? I don't want to grow up yet.
Tamara Judge
Well, by the way, you'll be 53 next month.
Eddie Judge
No, I won't.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, 53.
Eddie Judge
Next question. Please describe each other's love in three words. You can take the first two words.
Tamara Judge
Describe each other's love in three words.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. Romantic.
Tamara Judge
I don't know if either one of us are that romantic anymore. Babe. I'm sorry.
Eddie Judge
Anymore. But we were.
Tamara Judge
We were. Yes. I remember the Valentine's Day that we were just dating and you went on a trip, I think it was to Panama. And Valentine's Day had fallen on the time of year on your trip. And you sent me, like, candy and tons of roses and all that kind of stuff. But I will say, you are probably more romantic than me.
Eddie Judge
What about that time I put a bunch of rose petals in bathtub?
Tamara Judge
Yeah, you used to do that all the time. But Valentine's Day, you usually. I get like 15 dozen flowers.
Eddie Judge
You said you didn't want anymore, so I stopped doing it.
Tamara Judge
Well, because they come in a box. Then I got to clip them and put them in water. And it's a lot of work. It's just a lot of work. I'm not the artsy type.
Eddie Judge
Well, you have a daughter that could do that for you.
Tamara Judge
She's moving out.
Eddie Judge
Okay, next question. Everybody wants to know the bathtub scene is one of the most iconics in Housewife. Do you look back and laugh about it today? How do you?
Tamara Judge
No, I cringe. I won't even watch it. That shit was brought up in court cases with my ex. Like, it wasn't. You didn't understand the assignment.
Eddie Judge
I didn't understand the assignment. Well, after seven or eight shots of tequila and a half a bottle of wine, what do you think is gonna happen?
Nancy Glass
I don't know.
Tamara Judge
But the funny thing is, your clothes
Eddie Judge
is gonna come off.
Tamara Judge
Well, my clothes were off and you walked in. You're like, oh, she naked. She naked. But then it was the.
Eddie Judge
Really. The first thing I thought about is my chest and my arms are not pumped up for this scene. Damn it. I'm gonna have to do some push ups.
Tamara Judge
I thought you were worried about your little friend.
Eddie Judge
Well, that's the last thing I forgot about him. And when I had to take my pants off, that's when I realized, oh, I was pumping the wrong thing.
Tamara Judge
Tina lynch, you just laugh around a little bit. All I remember, which is the most uncomfortable part is the everybody leaving the bathroom.
Eddie Judge
And when I got hit hot and heavy with you. Yeah.
Tamara Judge
And took. They just took off. The whole entire crew just took off.
Eddie Judge
They're like. Because it became porn.
Tamara Judge
Oh, my God.
Eddie Judge
It went from a nice romantic, you know, it was supposed to be like a little steak dinner with sitting in
Tamara Judge
a bathtub with candles and bubbles and just talking about that. Well, during class.
Eddie Judge
It was your idea.
Tamara Judge
I know.
Eddie Judge
Thank God I don't drink okay.
Tamara Judge
Anymore.
Eddie Judge
How do you work through conflict of the show and not bring it home when you. When you film through it?
Tamara Judge
I think the last couple of years have been really hard on me. And, you know, this season, the last season we just had was very difficult because I was just emotionally unstable. I mean, I literally what went from a very bad season the season before where I was getting death threats. And that does play with your head and it does make you scared to engage on the show and all those things. And I expressed my feelings to Alex Baskin and producers and things like that. And then right when I was going into the season, I had started therapy because I was so distraught from the season before. And what had happened was Teddy got sick. And then that just really was the icing on the cake for me. And it put me into a deep depress. And I didn't feel wanted, I didn't feel needed. I didn't feel comfortable in scenes with my castmates. And, you know, it was probably a me thing, you know, not necessarily them doing it to me in the beginning. And I was struggling. And that's when I quit the show. And I talked with the show psychiatrist and she diagnosed me as being severely depressed. Recommended I go on medication and do all the things. And so it was really hard for me because I think I was like, you had never really seen me like that before, have you?
Eddie Judge
I think the last two years were exceptionally hard on you.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Eddie Judge
And I would. I wouldn't even count those. But let me read the question again. How do you work through conflict of the show and not bring it home when you're done filming?
Tamara Judge
Well, I'm. What I'm saying is this season I couldn't even. The one we finished, I couldn't even tell you what was happening at home. I couldn't tell you if I was.
Eddie Judge
But let's talk about the bigger picture.
Tamara Judge
Explaining it to you. Was I fighting with you about it? Was I? It's a blur to me.
Eddie Judge
Well, after, I don't know, 12 years that we've been filming together, it's kind of hard not to bring it home because everything you do.
Tamara Judge
16 years we've been filming together.
Eddie Judge
16, whatever. You, you work from home, you live at home, you film at home, you do everything from home.
Tamara Judge
So podcast from home, podcast.
Eddie Judge
You do everything at home. So it's hard to leave the stress and the work outside of the house when it all kind of happens in the house. Yeah. So I think that's one of the biggest challenges and possibly one of the biggest stressors in a relationship like yours and I is where we're a public figure and we're constantly being, you know, judged and criticized and all that. And if you're, if you don't have a tough skin, it'll get to you.
Tamara Judge
And, well, the, the, you're, you're right. And the funny thing is, is like, you will tell me, like, don't worry, who cares what other people think? And da, da, da, da. But the first time you look bad or something happens and people start talking, you're like, I ain't doing this ever again.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. I am not a housewife. I can't do, I can't do what you do. I don't, I don't.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, it's hard to deal with. I mean, and it all depends on your state of mind too. Like you. I can be like, right now I'm in my era where I am just. I don't care. I'm unbothered. I don't care what you have to say. It doesn't matter. And I think you might. I think I'm that way because of what I have gone through the past year. And I know who my friends are. I know who my friends are not. I know what I bring to the table. I know that I'm a good person. And take me or leave me.

Amanda Knox
But what if we didn't get the whole story?
Narrator (The Case of Lucy Letby)
The moment you look at the whole picture, the case collapses.
Amanda Knox
I'm Amanda Knox and in the new podcast the Case of Lucy Letby, we follow the evidence and hear from the people that lived it. To ask what really happened when the world decided who Lucy Letby was.
Tamara Judge

I now have several terabytes of an MSS officer. No doubt, no question of his life. And that's a unicorn.
Eddie Judge
No one had ever seen anything like that.
Tamara Judge
It was unbelievable.

Nancy Glass
He identified Jermaine Hudson as the perpetrator. Jermaine was sentenced to 99 years.

Eddie Judge
Here's another important question. How do you support each other through the tough seasons?
Tamara Judge
Seasons. When I see. Think seasons, I'm thinking seasons of the show. Are you talking about seasons of life?
Eddie Judge
Seasons of the show, obviously, because everything revolves around the damn show. So around. How do you. How do. How do I support you during the seasons, good or bad?
Tamara Judge
I think that I'm probably a really hard one to support because when things bother me, I isolate myself and I don't want to talk about anything. And. And that's when I'm really in not a good place. If I'm just in a normal, bad place, we can talk through things and, you know, you're always there. And you will say to me, like, listen, babe, it's a job. Don't worry about it. Just whatever. Or you will tell me if this is too much on you, then you shouldn't do it, because your health is more important than anything else than somebody that's stressed out all the time. It's not good.
Eddie Judge
It's terrible for your health.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Eddie Judge
Okay. How do you work through the decisions of signing up for the show each season? Well, I think this is an interesting question because there were two things that I remember you didn't want me to do when we got married. One of them was skydive, and I understand why. And the other one was not ride street bikes. But then you got fired, and in order to get your job back and in order for you or me to agree to go back, you said, I'll let you have a motorcycle if you let me go back. I didn't care if I died on a street bike. You wanted to work so bad, you said, yeah, go kill yourself.
Tamara Judge
Don't say that. This could come. Come back and haunt me. Stop it right now. You're like, I had to treat you like a child. Sometimes I gotta bribe you. You want some candy, little boy? You do want some candy.
Eddie Judge
What's in your pocket, big lady? Has reality TV changed your marriage? That's all we've known. I don't know if it's. It could be any different.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, I don't know. I mean, we obviously have our off season, and that's been for the past, like, six months or so. Well, since October.
Narrator (The 6th Bureau / Burden of Guilt)
October.
Tamara Judge
So last few months, there's no filming, there's been no airing. And that's when I feel like that's our just average, normal time, because even when we air it's like, oh, geez, what happened? Now I gotta get the backlash. And this is happening, and phone calls and cast members are calling, and, you know, it's just a busy time as well. But I feel like we feel most comfortable just kicking it in Big Bear and having a good time and going to work out.
Eddie Judge
And I'd say, no, I don't think reality TV has changed our marriage. Cause our marriage started on reality tv. And if you haven't seen the episode, what was it? Tamara's Wedding. Cause I think I was in that.
Tamara Judge
Tamara's OC Wedding.
Eddie Judge
Tamara's OC Wed.
Tamara Judge
It wasn't Eddie's OC Wedding. It was Tamara's OC Wedding.
Eddie Judge
I think I was an extra. I didn't get paid either.
Tamara Judge
Tamra's OC Wedding is about as creative as a nail salon that says nail salon. Yeah. Tamara's O.C. wedding. I remember hearing the working title. I'm like, really? That's all I got.
Eddie Judge
Next question. Social media has also changed reality tv. How do you not let outside opinions affect your relationship? Well, I don't think they. Well, because none of it is true.
Tamara Judge
None of it is about our relationship.
Eddie Judge
No. There's stuff out there that say, you know, they're breaking up or they're divorced.
Tamara Judge
There's. Well, there's a lot of AI stories that's out there. Yeah.
Eddie Judge
Honestly, it does not affect our relationship. And even if the other.
Tamara Judge
You get more annoyed by it than
Eddie Judge
I do, I kind of do. But I know that legally it's just a drain. Cash drain. So there's nothing really you can do unless you sue Facebook, but.
Tamara Judge
Which is a great idea.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. I think. I personally don't let the outside people's opinion, especially coming from social media, affect our relationship, because I know what's real. I know what's true. I know I can talk to you about anything. You can talk to me about anything. And there's never any, like, are you sure you're not cheating on me? Or are you sure you're not gay? Are you sure? Whatever. You know?
Tamara Judge
Yeah. I mean, that's the only thing that they. That's the only thing they've really put out there about you is.
Eddie Judge
I know.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. And then as far as cheating rumors and things like that, I mean, knock on wood, that's not something that I've had to deal with, which I would just absolutely laugh at on the show, because a lot of girls have been. I'm talking all franchises have been accused of cheating. There's been going on talk about it in Salt Lake City recently, and I don't know how. I mean, I think I would just ignore it. But how do you maneuver through that, especially when it's not true?
Eddie Judge
Just same way we've maneuvered all the stupid stuff that we've experienced on the show. At the end of the day, if there is some truth to it, you're going to do everything in your power to deflect or drown it with another subject or another person and get people not thinking about what's going on and just go to bat and defend the hell out of yourself. I'm not a criminal.
Tamara Judge
No, we can tell.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. People say there is a curse of reality TV and marriage. What's something viewers might misunderstand about your relationship? I don't think there's anything to misunderstand, because we are who we are.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. I think we're really open. I feel like we're not that couple that people have, like, suspicion. Like, I remember in the very beginning, people are like, she's with a much younger guy. I'm like, he's five years younger.
Eddie Judge
Right. You know, but I also just let you fly, let you be free and be who you are. I'm not controlling. I don't, you know, you know, in the closet, beat you up to keep you under control. But everything you've seen on tv, everything you've seen us in public, it's who we are. It's what we do. And we are in love. We're not just faking it.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, yeah. I remember people saying the very beginning, oh, they're just faking it or they just got married for tv. I'm like, yeah, you the guy that doesn't even like tv. I will say like. And I've said it a million times that I've been saying it since day one, because I've experienced it. If you are on shaky ground and you come on as a housewife and your marriage is not good, you will get divorced. But you're probably going to get divorced anyways. But it's going to expedite it.
Eddie Judge
Do you think you still get divorced if, let's say you flew in on a helicopter and proposed to me and then never married me for, like, nine years?
Tamara Judge
Stop it.
Eddie Judge
You think we'd still be engaged or married or just saying, asking for a friend. All right, what has been the most positive thing for you to. To come out of Real Housewives of Orange County?
Tamara Judge
The most positive thing?
Eddie Judge
I think the most positive thing has been just the experience of being on TV or the public. You Know, the platform.
Tamara Judge
I think the platform is amazing.
Eddie Judge
We get recognized everywhere. I think there's only been one person. Maybe if that. That's been rude. But 99.99% of everybody that we meet in person has been super sweet, super nice. And, you know, I don't really know how to describe the feeling of somebody wanting to take a picture with you when you haven't really done anything. I'm just, you know, I'm your husband, you're the star of the show, and I just don't know how to feel about that. But when people want to take pictures with me, it's like, oh, it's for my wife or it's for my boyfriend.
Tamara Judge
Oh, you love it.
Eddie Judge
I don't hate it. I don't love it. I just don't know what to make of it. It's not like I'm an actual actor and I did a role and I'm.
Tamara Judge
You're just a public person. I think the power of the platform, Bravo TV being the platform, is very powerful. I think that a lot of things come from it. There's a lot of side businesses that we have gotten as a couple. We have, you know, I have my podcast with iHeart. I wouldn't have had that if I wasn't on Housewives. You wouldn't have the podcast. You have endorsement deals.
Eddie Judge
Our CBD business wouldn't be as popular. I mean, that thing was super popular and profitable within a month of launching it. Right.
Tamara Judge
So, yeah, you know, it's. It's pretty amazing.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. What has been the most positive thing for you two to come out of Real Housewives of Orange County? The most positive?
Tamara Judge
Well, we're still in it, but I would just say, like, all the businesses we've created. Cut Fitness was created on Housewives. We started our CBD business. You know, we started podcasts. You know, there's a lot of great things that happen from the platform, and we've been very smart about what we choose to do. And I'm not a person. Like, we'll slap my name on other people's labels. It's just not something I do. And it has to be authentic to me. I'm not going to. I just got, you know, offered, like, hey, would you be a spokesperson for an alcohol. No. It's not what I stand for, and it's not about the money. It's about the principle of a lot of things I do.
Eddie Judge
It is funny, though. Sometimes we get asked to do commercials or sponsored posts for other CBD companies.
Tamara Judge
I know I'm like, why are you.
Eddie Judge
Yeah, we're competitors.
Tamara Judge
So weird.
Eddie Judge
Aside from your wedding spinoff, what has been the most fun experience you've both shared on tv besides the bathtub scene?
Tamara Judge
Oh, my gosh. Fun moment on. All right, go ahead. You go.
Eddie Judge
My most memorable moment was when we were filming in Bora Bora, and I don't know how we talked you into diving, like, with. With the diving gear and everything. Fifteen scuba diving down to. To the floor. And it was scary because that was the scene I wanted to. That I premeditated. And I had these shells that I was. They were placed in certain areas, and one of them had a ring in it. And you wouldn't go down there with me, so that scene was gonna be totally blown out, and it wasn't gonna work. And I was so like, come on, somebody get her down here. And then you balled up and said, I'm doing it. And you went down there and you were doing it, and I was so proud.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, but you didn't propose to me down there.
Eddie Judge
How am I going to propose to you? 15ft underground?
Tamara Judge
You just open a shell and pull
Eddie Judge
out the ring and say, memory to me.
Tamara Judge
That was very good.
Narrator (The 6th Bureau / Burden of Guilt)
True.
Tamara Judge
That's true. But I think visually, for the camera, that would have been pretty freaking amazing.
Eddie Judge
It would have. Yeah, if I needed to sign it.
Tamara Judge
But instead you waited until we got back to the room, and here I am the entire trip, just expecting this to happen. And all these beautiful settings were in on the beach with candles all around us. Nope, didn't happen.
Eddie Judge
Then my favorite part, after the fire dance, you're like, where's my ring?
Narrator (The Case of Lucy Letby)
Where's my ring?
Tamara Judge
Where's my ring? And then I get back to the room, and then the producer's like, do you want to, like, maybe put some makeup on? And I'm like, no, why do I want to put makeup on? He's like, well, we're going to do a little, like, you know, just follow up. Yeah, follow up in your room. And I'm like, no, these things never air. Then he proposes to me, and then all I can think of is I have, like, some fedora on and, like, a ring around my face.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. Yeah. That's all you could think about. Do I look good?
Tamara Judge
I'm like, oh, my God. You could have told me. The producer's like, we warned you.
Eddie Judge
Anything else you want to say about our romantic relationship?
Tamara Judge
No, I think that I'm really excited about our future. I feel like, you know, you've known me raising kids, and you've helped raise these kids and now we're gonna be empty nesters.
Eddie Judge
I know my dog.
Tamara Judge
I know there is three people in this marriage. And I say that because Rugby lays on top of him until he falls asleep every night.
Eddie Judge
Every night.
Tamara Judge
Every night.
Eddie Judge
I love it.
Tamara Judge
Until Rugby falls asleep. I'm saying, not you. And then you go, wanna go night night. And he jumps up and runs to his cage. It's like every single night. Every night. But he's adorable. You know, I don't know. I don't know how long I'll be on this television show. I know that I will. You know me, Teddy, Dolores will be pumping out podcasts for a very long time. Many, many years. And I can do that from wherever I'm at in this world and.
Eddie Judge
But if you're no longer on tv, are you still famous?
Tamara Judge
I will always be famous. Just kidding. I mean, you got to think of it this way, like, like 20 years. Oh, sorry. 20 years. Pretty much. I've been, let's say 18 on Bravo.
Eddie Judge
I know.
Tamara Judge
You know, there was one year that I wasn't on, but all they did was talk about me that year.
Eddie Judge
Well, I'm intrigued to see who you are going to be after you're no longer on tv.
Tamara Judge
Because I'll tell you, I'm going to be. There's gonna be no more Botox. We know. Hair extensions and be wrinkly. I'm gonna be old.
Eddie Judge
Will I recognize you?
Tamara Judge
Nope.
Eddie Judge
Will, I love you?
Tamara Judge
I don't know. That's a you thing.
Eddie Judge
Will I want to do you?
Tamara Judge
Probably not.
Eddie Judge
Oh, man.
Tamara Judge
I'm joking.
Eddie Judge
Do I need to buy myself one of those sex robots?
Tamara Judge
Yes. I'm just kidding.
Eddie Judge
Thank God for Aiden.
Tamara Judge
No, I don't. You know. You know, I just, I. I enjoy our working out every day. You know, I've seen girls that work out and their husbands might be not in shape or overweight or whatever and they have no desire to work out. And they're like, wow, you know, it's really nice that your husband. You guys work out together because we have that understanding of being fit and being healthy more. Being healthy more than anything.
Eddie Judge
Right. Because it's about longevity.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. And I know that you look out for me and you take care of me and you worry about me.
Eddie Judge
I do. All the time.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. And what else could I ask for in a husband?
Eddie Judge
Okay, well, as long as you appreciate it, I'll keep harping on you.
Tamara Judge
Okay? I do.
Eddie Judge
Okay.
Tamara Judge
All right. Happy Valentine's Day.
Eddie Judge
Valentine's Day. I love you.
Tamara Judge
Love you too.
Eddie Judge
I love you more.
Tamara Judge
You should. I'm just kidding.
