This is the Eds with Eddie Judge and Edwin Arroyave.
Eddie Judge
Welcome Back to the Eds. My name is Eddie Judge. I am doing a solo today because my dear co host Edwin was too busy, busy, busy, busy guy. But I got good news. We have a great guest today. His name is Adam Neely, and he is Reza's husband from the Valley, Persian style. And I say it that way because I feel your pain, Adam. Every time somebody sees me, he's like, hey, you're Tama's husband. Yeah. I have a name. I have a name. It's Eddie Judge. Okay. And, Adam, you have a name.
Adam Neely
I do. And it's not Reza's husband.
Eddie Judge
So this is the first season of the Valley, but you and Reza have been on Parable Family before on a show called Shaws of Sunset. I do remember watching a little bit of that show, in fact. Well, let me start by welcoming you to the ed's podcast.
Adam Neely
Thanks, Eddie.
Eddie Judge
So, yeah, a little bit about the Shahs of Sunset. When it came out, my wife was watching it, and just like the Housewives, I get a little glimpse here, a little glimpse there, she kind of tells me what's going on. Now that she has her own podcast, I get to hear about every single housewife show, if you can only imagine. But I remember Shaws of Sunset being a big deal, being a lot of fun. And of course, Reza was a big personality on there. And my wife was starstruck. I've never seen her ever starstruck. The very first time we actually crossed paths at a Bravo event, and she lost her when she saw Reza, I'm like, what is going on here?
Adam Neely
Reza's got that effect on people. He just, like, draws people in. He's very charismatic, and obviously that's one of the many reasons why he married him.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. Yeah. Well, we'll get plenty of time to talk about him, but first, let's talk about you. I want to get to know who Adam Neely is. Tell us about you. Where'd you grow up?
Adam Neely
I grew up in Oklahoma.
Eddie Judge
Oh, wow.
Adam Neely
But actually, my father worked for the government, so I kind of traveled all over the U.S. oh, cool. But anyone asked me where I grew up, I would say Oklahoma, since that's where my parents still live and I spent the majority of my time there.
Eddie Judge
Okay. How often do you go back? Never. Never. Okay.
Adam Neely
Like, I go back there, and it's like, there's a lot of great qualities, but I go back there and I feel like, what am I going to do? Because, like, I'm used to always, like, being on the go and having something to do. Um, it's like my parents, they. They live in the country.
Eddie Judge
Okay.
Adam Neely
And so there's not a whole lot happening in the country. Unless you want to go, like, stir up some cattle or something.
Eddie Judge
Ah, makes sense. I did see a clip. I don't know if it was on your Instagram or on tv, but you guys have a garden in your backyard.
Adam Neely
Oh, yeah, yeah, that's where the garden came from.
Eddie Judge
Oh, I love it. I love it. I was so envious watching you had all kinds of different fruits back there. That is awesome.
Adam Neely
A lot of it was actually Persian inspired because he's like Reza. He's very particular about what he eats. I'm particular about what I eat. And so I really got into. On this season of the Valley, you get to see me get into, like, fermenting and pickling and just a bunch of, like, fun garden stuff.
Eddie Judge
Are you on a particular diet? Like, are you a vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, or.
Adam Neely
I'm a vegan. Starting to lean towards pescatarian.
Eddie Judge
Okay.
Adam Neely
Which is another reason why I want to grow my own veggies.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. How long you been a vegan?
Adam Neely
My God, since 2020. Like, right before the first shutdown. Yeah, I got really sick, and it did something to me. And so anytime I eat anything animal product related, minus fish, I. I just get really sick.
Eddie Judge
So that's interesting, because the same thing has been happening to my wife ever since, you know, Covid. She has. Every time I make a steak or any animal protein, she kind of, like, doesn't enjoy it anymore. I don't get. I don't understand why.
Adam Neely
Yeah, I. But I don't understand. I mean, I wish I was a doctor. I knew why, but no, I love being vegans. Like, the benefits. Like, you. You look more. You look younger, you're glowing. And everyone's like, adam, are you sure you're in your 40s? Because you look like you're in your 30s. And. And then Reza gets a little sassy when people say that.
Eddie Judge
Well, I gotta tell you, I've been healthy most of my life. I haven't been perfect, but I always contribute my. My eating habits and my workout habits to staying and feeling young. Now I'm in my early 50s, and I'm starting to get these weird pains that I never had before that everybody told me about. Like, where the hell did that pain come from? You know, it's usually relating to a bruise or a crash I had on my bike. It has a purpose. Right. Or a reason. Now they just Come out of nowhere. I'm like, why does my shoulder hurt, dude?
Adam Neely
Do stem cells. Gigi and I, we just got back from Columbia for umbilical stem cells and I feel like five or ten years younger.
Eddie Judge
Really?
Adam Neely
Yeah. I feel amazing. Like it's. We went for umbilical stem cells and these types of stem cells are universal, so anybody can, can take them. Awesome. And it's wow. Night and day, my knees don't crack. My brain fog is gone.
Eddie Judge
My vision, it's wow. How? Two questions. One, how. How much are they and how often? Second question. How often do you have to do it?
Adam Neely
Once should be enough. But if you want to go back for a tune up like every few years, if you want.
Eddie Judge
Oh, wow.
Adam Neely
It's not cheap, but it's cheaper in Colombia than it is in the States.
Eddie Judge
Oh yeah. Everything is cheaper outside of the United
Adam Neely
States, but it's totally worth it.
Eddie Judge
I gotta try that. That's interesting.
Adam Neely
So look up the Human Wellness Center. They're amazing. They wow. I'm just gonna say wow.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. So let's see. You eat healthy, you're a vegan, trying to be pescatarian. Do you work out regularly?
Adam Neely
I do, I do jiu jitsu. I do regular workout training. I do yoga resin. I do yoga together all the time.
Eddie Judge
That's awesome.
Adam Neely
And one of the reasons why I try to stay active is because I'm also an editor. And that's one thing that people don't know about me is that I'm a TV and film editor. And people think I just love this lavish lifestyle because Reza pays for it. But I contribute to.
Eddie Judge
Yeah, that's, that's a common number. You know, just people assume. I can't tell you how many times people, oh, I'm just a boy toy. And of course it doesn't help when my wife, you know, we go to. I think it was. That's the other thing we got in common. We both got married on tv. When we did the bachelor party, she decided I was in really good shape at the time. She decided it was a good idea to get these swim shorts, like European style swim shorts and tack a boy toy on the back of it and go to Vegas for our, you know, bachelor bachelorette party and put chains on me and like, yeah, okay, that's going to go really well with the audience. Yeah, yeah.
Adam Neely
It's funny. Did you ever get hate, hate DMs, like, you're such a gold digging hoe bag and.
Eddie Judge
Oh, yeah, yeah. I mean, I can't tell you how many different Varieties. The beautiful thing is that I've just discovered blocking systems a long time ago. And there was a short period where I decided, okay, maybe I shouldn't block because I read something that it's better to have more followers. But then I. Then it changed to it's all about engagement. So I went and blocked all those heads. Any bad comments? Out. Anything bad about my wife? Out. Anything bad about the show? Out.
Adam Neely
Same. I'm like, why are people hating on me just because I'm on a TV show? Like me alone?
Eddie Judge
Yeah. So you do have a background in production. Is that why you moved to L. A? To be a producer or to be in the. In the Hollywood scene?
Adam Neely
Honestly, I didn't know what I wanted to do. It's like, either I was going to stay in Oklahoma and work on a farm or do something related to it or move out to L. A. And I lived out here for six months before my parents found out I moved up here.
Eddie Judge
You just ran away? What'd you do?
Adam Neely
Well, it actually worked out very poetically. So the day I moved here, they were moving to Georgia.
Eddie Judge
Oh.
Adam Neely
And so my parents thought that I was still in Oklahoma. And they were like, oh, hey, your dad's friend is about to go out to California for a week. He wants to stop by and look at your car to make sure it's running okay. And I'm like, well, you can just tell them, stop by my new place. And she was very confused, didn't understand it. And then I was like, I moved to. Moved to LA
Eddie Judge
while your parents are away? Yeah.
Adam Neely
So this was 21 years ago? Yeah, I was a baby.
Eddie Judge
That's funny. So let me. Let me take a few steps back because I really like to get to know the real person about you growing up. What was your childhood like? Were you in a farm?
Adam Neely
No, I just grew up in the. In the countryside. Like, we don't have a farm per se, but we had a few acres, a lot of dogs.
Eddie Judge
Oh, fun.
Adam Neely
And that was it. And so, like, the closest neighbor was, like, miles down the street, so. Which is great. But, no, I like, my high school is very country. I graduated with a little over 100 people, which is something.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
I'm the youngest of three boys. Both my brothers went to a different high school where they graduated with, like two or three thousand people.
Eddie Judge
And are you the oldest?
Adam Neely
I'm the youngest.
Eddie Judge
Oh, you're the youngest.
Adam Neely
So I'm the youngest.
Eddie Judge
So you went to the local school? Okay.
Adam Neely
Yeah, I went to the local school. They finished out the high School in the town we moved away from.
Eddie Judge
Okay.
Adam Neely
And.
Wilmer Valderrama
Yeah.
Adam Neely
And that's it. I pretty much just grew up in Oklahoma, just doing country stuff.
Eddie Judge
So how did you and Reza meet?
Adam Neely
We met at the gym. If he were to be here and tell you the story, it'd be a little different, but he was on the treadmill and he's doing his cardio and he's. And I just saw him and I had recently saw him in a picture and this was before Shah's, so. So before Shah's was ever a thing, he and I were already hanging out.
Eddie Judge
Okay.
Adam Neely
And so he. He's in a friend's picture from Gay Pride. And I'm like, oh, you know my friend so and so. And he's like, who? And so I pull out the picture, he's like, oh, that's not my friend. And then. So from that moment forward, I was always trying to chat with him because for me, it's like the angrier looking you are, the more of a challenge I think you're going to be, and the more I'm into it.
Eddie Judge
So.
Adam Neely
And so Reza was just very angry looking and I just saw it as a challenge and so I just went for it.
Eddie Judge
So did you feel any chemistry or what was it that attracted you to.
Adam Neely
Oh, dude, I always feel chemistry with everyone. So with Reza, the thing that attracted to me, besides his angry demeanor was. I don't know, he. I don't know, like his style, his sense of humor. He was witty. We had a lot of similar. Not similar. We had a lot of friends in common and next thing I knew, it's like we had our first date and we went to. He took me to my first vegan restaurant. Oh, he was vegan. He used to be vegan.
Eddie Judge
Okay.
Adam Neely
And then. And then we went and saw Scream, one of the Scream movies, and it was. It was great. It was like. It was just very nice.
Eddie Judge
That was your first date?
Adam Neely
That Scream was our second date, but the first date was a vegan restaurant and so. Really? Yeah.
Eddie Judge
Is he still vegan?
Adam Neely
No, he's mostly vegan because I'm vegan, but he'll easily eat some chicken.
Eddie Judge
Okay.
Adam Neely
Yeah.
Eddie Judge
Oh, good, good. That's great. And you guys. So you guys have been together how long? 15 years.
Adam Neely
Oh, 16.
Eddie Judge
16 years.
Adam Neely
Okay, 16 years this April because, like, we. We started hanging out before Shah's was even started. Like right before Shah's film their sizzle reel. Yeah, we were already hanging out. We were already like. I was already meeting his family. And then season two of Shah's comes around, and it's like, hey, we either need to be serious and you need to come onto the show with me, or I got to look at other avenues. And I was like, what? And so here we are today. So obviously, I. I made a good decision, and we've been married for a little, like, ten and a half years now.
Eddie Judge
Nice.
Adam Neely
We've been through a lot. We've had several proper. We bought several properties together. We've got five pets together. We've. We have a whole life.
Eddie Judge
Oh. I. I also saw a clip of you guys talking about kids. Another thing we have in common, my wife and I, we don't have any kids together. She' got four wonderful kids. And, you know, I love being a stepdad, but I remember you saying, like, I. I don't think I can handle dealing with a kid all day long.
Adam Neely
Okay. Which is true. And thank God. The silver lining to the pandemic was we got to spend a lot of quality time together.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
And it was at that moment that I realized, wow, we had a kid. Like, if all of our attention would be on this kid.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
And I love our quality time together. I love our quiet time together. And I just think we'd be living a different life if the kid was somewhere in the mix.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. Yeah.
Adam Neely
Like, I totally would have a kid today, but I just don't think it'd be hard for me to work the kid into my life because we have a busy life.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. No, I agree. Do you and Reza spend a lot of time together? Are you guys always apart, working?
Adam Neely
We spent a lot of time together, but he also goes out of town a lot for different promotional things. Like, he's just in New York for Andy. So we do have some downtime away from one another, which is great.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
At the same time, I'm like, man, what am I gonna do now? Reza's like. Reza's normally my go to.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
It's like, in the evenings, we enjoy watching those. Those dating shows on Netflix because it's a huge fanatic.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
And I just make fun of these people. It's like, how do you fall in love after knowing them for two days? Like.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. Yeah. There's. There's something about reality TV that if you understand it, you understand it. I don't.
Adam Neely
Same, same. I. I don't. Because I also come from the scripted world where I. I know how a character is supposed to react and move.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
But it's. It's hard to watch a reality show and be like, this doesn't make sense. Because in my world, I know how people are supposed to be. And in this world, it's like, wow. Just.
Eddie Judge
Yeah, it's. It's unpredictable. But, you know, our producers, I agree with you 100%, but our producers really know how to create magic out of nothing. Sometimes I'm really, like, surprised, and sometimes I see, you know, them doing some like, you totally missed the ball, guys. It was such a good scene and you didn't show it. But, you know, it's. It's a hard job as, you know, editing. It's, It's. It takes a long time to edit. I edit videos for my dirt bike, you know, adventures and stuff like that. So that's where I get the experience of dealing with, you know, big files taking forever to just create one short clip. And so I wouldn't want that job.
Adam Neely
I will say it's a great and rewarding job because, like, I'll get to go to the Golden Globes or some other prestigious awards ceremony. I get to see episodes that people want to see and they want to know what's going to happen. And I already know what's going to happen. And I'm like, the first person who gets to see it before the director. And it's just like, wow. Like, the. The opportunities I get to have because of my real job. It's. It's amazing.
Eddie Judge
That actually sounds really cool.
Adam Neely
It's like. It's like I worked on Dune, the TV series. Oh, wow. It's like I already knew everything that was going to happen. And you're seeing these big billboards and you're reading all these posts and it's like, I think I have a theory that this is going to happen and this is going to happen. And I'm like, nope, nope, nope. And I find that so fascinating and very. It just puts a big smile on my face because I get to create stuff that a lot of people are going to watch.

How do you Guys handle being on a reality TV together. Like, I'm sure it's got its ups and downs and I think you just touched on it a little bit, the negative feedback from social media people. But overall, how do you guys handle your reality TV relationship?
Adam Neely
What happens on TV stays on tv. And one thing that Res and I really learned was to avoid conflict, we need to do daily check ins.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
So we, at the end of every day, we're like, how's your day? Is there anything I can help you with? Do you have any issues or thoughts you want to talk about?
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
And our relationship has gone like through the roof, like next level because of these check ins. Like, it's so small and minor, but it's like a way to deflate or let the hot air out of the balloon before it explodes.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
And so you kind of get ahead of the problem and, and so it's been very beneficial.
Eddie Judge
So there's been numerable times where Tamara comes home from filming and she's stressed out or something happened and, you know, or there was a fight and I typically, you know, absorbed all that energy and sometimes she takes it out on me. Does that happen to you?
Adam Neely
Oh, dude, all the time. Like, especially before we started doing the check ins. Like it would always be. He'd bring his work home.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
And then I always pick up on that energy and I always feel like the energy is directed towards me even though it's not supposed to be.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. And.
Adam Neely
And I'm just like, whoa, what was that? Do I need to break up with you? Do we need to divorce?
Podcast Announcer
Yeah.
Adam Neely
Like early on after we got married, he. The divorce card was thrown around a lot. It wasn't until we learned how to communicate.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
And learn to leave work at the door that that we finally learned how to like talk to one another and handle all these small issues that have nothing to do with the other.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. No, I, And I like that concept of just, just checking in at the end of the day every day. It's, it's up there with saying, you know, I love you on a daily basis, whether, you know, they know it or not. And whether you're mad or not, you just say it because it's true. Right now. Talking about it, it's. It's one thing to talk about, it's another thing to really show your love. Right. I understand. Reza is the one that shows a lot more affection than you do and you're wife or like, don't chew next to me, don't breathe next to me. Don't touch me.
Adam Neely
Like, I. Reza knows I love him. I show my acts of love in a different form.
Eddie Judge
Yeah, he.
Adam Neely
He just loves to be on top me 24 7.
Eddie Judge
And.
Adam Neely
And I love him, but it's like, I like to do acts of generosity and not like, I don't know, what's it called? Smothering, touching, grabbing. Yeah, yeah, but it's true.
Eddie Judge
What's. So that's your love language. Showing acts of.
Adam Neely
Of kindness.
Eddie Judge
Kindness, yeah.
Adam Neely
Like, I love tabouli. I love making tabouli. Oh, Reza, you want. You're hungry. Here's a bowl. Taboo. Like, let me. Let me come to you. I'm kind of like a cat. Like, I'll come to you.
Eddie Judge
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I'm the dog.
Adam Neely
I just want to compare him to a dog. But yeah, he's kind of like a dog.
Eddie Judge
Like, pick a cute dog, you know, a little shih Tzu or something that just humps your leg all the time. Right?
Adam Neely
You said a cute dog. No, I probably have to compare him to our little Chihuahua mix. Just. There you go.
Eddie Judge
So I understand that there was a break with Shaza Sunset, and my wife had her break as well, and it took a year for me to talk her off the ledge. How was it with Reza, I mean, and you guys?
Adam Neely
For he and I, it was great because we. We got to reconnect as real people and not TV Personas.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
But then when he would get around his former castmates, it's like, so we got to come up with another show idea. What are we going to do?
Eddie Judge
Yeah,
Adam Neely
cool. Great.
Eddie Judge
Can we just have a normal life?
Wilmer Valderrama
Yeah.
Adam Neely
Like, I honestly, like, I enjoyed the downtime. I enjoyed just being, like, real because Reza, I taught him how to. How to garden, how to make a plant from another plant. It's. And so we really enjoyed becoming like those. The gay Betty, Betty Crocker homebody people. Like, that was us.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
And he became more chill and even happier. And I. And I loved it. So seeing. Seeing him, the way that he reacted once he was told was not being brought back. It was just. It was sad in a way because he was always so depressed and he was like, oh, man. Like, what am I gonna do? I. I am Shah. Shah's is me. And.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
But he definitely grew up in our relationship and he was more present, which was really, really good.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. It sounds again, like another thing we have in common. We are the solid foundation in this relationship where we're steady and they can be crazy. They can, you know, be charismatic and, you know, they're great on tv, but when they come home, we got to just, you know, bring them down, you know, have a normal life, you know, you don't have to be on all the time. And I think that's what really helps our relationship grow, you know, because I. I'm not like. Like you, I think I'm not about being famous or being on TV or especially on a housewife show, you know, I'm not a housewife.
Adam Neely
No, Eddie, you're pulling my legs.
Eddie Judge
I'm not going to be pulling some girl's hair and acting like a, you know, crazy woman. It's just not my thing. Yeah. So another thing we have in common, I think I touched on it earlier, was we both got married during our reality TV experience. And I think if I remember correctly, you showed a little bit about that. The. The maybe everything leading up to the wedding. Except the wedding.
Adam Neely
No, we showed the wedding.
Eddie Judge
Oh, you did?
Adam Neely
On Shaws. We showed the wedding. I was surprised. It was at a restaurant in Palm Springs. And it's like, do I want to go and film in Palm Springs? Because that particular weekend was my. Was a premiere party for one of the shows I was working on at the time. I was working on American Horror Story, and I was just like, oh, man, I want to go to my premiere party because I worked on the first episode. So do I do that or do I go to Palm Springs? And so Reza talked me into going to Palm Springs, showed up to this restaurant. Next thing I know, he's standing up in the middle of the dinner, and one of our friends married us. I forget the word. She was our priestess.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
And so we got married on tv and that was it.
Freddie Prinze Jr.
And.
Adam Neely
Which was great because I didn't have to have the stress of planning the wedding on my. Let alone having a room full of people. It's like, I don't mind public speaking and being in front of a bunch of people, but if I can avoid it, I will. So it was just a small group of people. It was very intimate, and it was perfect. Like, I would not go back and change anything.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. Yeah, that's great. By the way, American Horror Stories were one of my favorite and my wife's favorite shows. We watched them from the beginning. Every season was awesome. Awesome.
Adam Neely
Thank you. I. I worked on it the very day. One episode, one season one. That was my very first job in the industry.
Eddie Judge
Oh, it was so cool. I really enjoyed watching it. It was so off the beat, like, just so cool.
Adam Neely
It was such a great, great, fun time.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. So now There's a new show called the Valley. And you guys are filming that now, right? How many seasons are you in?
Adam Neely
We are airing season one right now.
Eddie Judge
How different is that? Or similar to the Shahs?
Adam Neely
Literally night and day. It's like people actually, most people actually get along.
Eddie Judge
That is different.
Adam Neely
And it's like I have a connection with each individual person, which is different because on Shah's, it's like even though I'm. I was friendly with them, it always felt like everyone is just trying to like, oh, God, throw you under the bus. It just. What dirty secret of yours can I air and like, stir. Stir the pot a little bit? Like with this group of people, we genuinely like one another.
Eddie Judge
Okay.
Adam Neely
And there's, there's always going to be the ups and downs and it's like, it's not toxic like Shah's was by the end. Yeah, Shaws was a great opportunity, but this time around I feel like more involved and everyone just seems to be more pleasant. But then again, it's still early, so that could change.
Eddie Judge
Yeah, I mean, I, I always thought that housewives can't be anything different. You know, it's. It has to have some sort of drama and storyline and, and, and just something to get the viewers interested in watching. And I think the common denominator is there's got to be drama, whatever that drama is. Right. So do you think the new show is going to be able to handle no drama last?
Adam Neely
Because true, like, yeah, that's the, that's the downside to reality TV. It's like some point there has to be real drama for there to be any intrigue then for viewers who want to tune in.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
I mean, luckily enough there was some actual real drama this season.
Eddie Judge
Oh, okay.
Adam Neely
Yeah. Which it did not involve me, but obviously it involved resin.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
But it was legitimate things that need to be said and done and, you know, Reza handled it okay. Yeah.
Eddie Judge
Have you ever felt like you need to step in and help Reza at any, at any time?
Adam Neely
More so this season on this series than I did during Shaws. So this season, like, if someone, like, was talking poorly to Reza, someone would cuss Reza out. I'd be like, don't you say that to my husband. I was always the person who's, like, in there trying to, like, protect him, even though he didn't need it.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
And. But then, like, afterwards we'd come home or cameras would break and he would give me a pat on the back like, oh, I love you. Thank you for doing that. Because sometimes it's difficult to be in the middle or see your partner be in the heat of a very toxic moment. Yeah. And to find a moment to interject, just to, like, make sure that they know that you have their back and. But I really felt like I somewhat found my voice this season, and I was able to be that person in support for Rock.
Eddie Judge
Oh, good. So how would you describe the show for viewers that have not seen it? And, you know, what do you think is going to capture the audience in this new show called the Valley Persian Style? I mean, it's got a great title.
Adam Neely
It's an amazing title. Literally, it's, like, such a great intro to Persian culture and the dramedy that. That's in their lives.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
Because they're funny, they're dramatic. They. They love to host. They have, like, huge spreads. It's. It's just a fun. It truly is a fun show, minus the drama. Like, you see the love that everyone has for one another and how everyone stands up for one another, and it's. It's just a great, fun show. It's a great group of friends. And if you want to, like, see what Res and I have been up to, definitely watch it. And then you'll get to see MJ and Gigi, three of the OGs, like, back together and.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
What. What adulthood looks like now, because the last time people saw any of us, it was. We were much younger.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
Yeah. And we've grown. A pandemic happened. We. Some of us have kids, and so we. We had a lot of growing up to do.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. Yeah. Now, I understand there's a little drama between Gigi's ex showing up at your wedding.
Adam Neely
No, my birthday. It was my birthday.
Eddie Judge
Oh, it was your birthday?
Adam Neely
Yeah.
Eddie Judge
Tell me about that.
Adam Neely
This seems like every birthday party that I have that I invite Gigi to, she always manages to make it about herself, which is really annoying because she is my ride or die. I love her death. She's probably my closest friend.
Eddie Judge
Oh, cool.
Adam Neely
So I'm very forgiving when it comes to her.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
But no, she invites her. Her ex husband doesn't tell me about it. And then later on, she asked me to kick him out of the house and tell him to go home. And it's like, girl, you ruined my birthday. Now you got to put me in an awkward position and tell him to leave. Oh, man.
Eddie Judge
So there. That's pretty good drama.
Adam Neely
Yeah. It was like, I will always have Gigi's back. Dennis, he's a great, nice guy, one on one, but he definitely is A little thirsty. And he wanted to be there, you know, to ride Gigi's coattails. And. Yeah. So all that happened, and it was just. It was a lot. It was very awkward.
Eddie Judge
Yeah. Yeah. Every show has one, don't they? There always one has one. That has to be like, I'm a star.
Adam Neely
I'd hate to say it, but that's Gigi. She will. If nobody is engaging with her, she will throw her down and leave and make a scene about her. It's like we had a. There was a dinner early on in the season at Amir and Natasha's house, and they had a huge Persian dinner spread, and everybody was talking about their couple's problems. And Gigi couldn't relate because she's divorced twice.
Eddie Judge
Oh, my gosh.
Adam Neely
And she's not in a relationship. And so she's like, you know, I don't connect with any of this. I gotta go. And she leaves. She's very dramatic, and she leaves. And it's like, okay, now what do we do? Do we talk about her or do we talk about something else?
Eddie Judge
She sounds perfect for reality tv. Very messy. Very messy.
Adam Neely
She's very messy. But I love her to death. She truly is such a great person. She's always had my back, and I love her for it.
Eddie Judge
That's funny. I think I have met her once at an event, and I loved her energy and her personality. She's super cute.
Adam Neely
Yeah, she's very cute. And if you ever need a hookup on weed, she's got you.
Eddie Judge
Well, I got my own supply, actually.
Adam Neely
Well, she. Allegedly. She spent four grand a month on it, so.
Eddie Judge
Oh, my gosh.
Adam Neely
You ever need a, you know, backup.
Eddie Judge
Wait, doesn't. Doesn't. Didn't she launch a cannabis company?
Adam Neely
Oh, she did. She did. And we went to her launch party, and it was great.
Eddie Judge
Did you still have a company?
Adam Neely
I think so.
Eddie Judge
Oh, good. Okay.
Adam Neely
I know that they really specialize in CBD oil, and it's an amazing CBD oil. I was using it before I got the stem cells that I mentioned earlier.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
And it was. It's great.
Eddie Judge
It's really. I thought she was in the medical marijuana side. I didn't know she was in the hemp side.
Adam Neely
She's in the both sides. But then now she's focused on sex toys.
Eddie Judge
Whoa, left turn there.
Adam Neely
So if you need any of those toys, let. Let me know, and I'll hook it up.
Eddie Judge
Oh, I can't imagine a dildo showing up in my house. I'd be like, babe, did you order this? Because I didn't. I don't need.

Eddie Judge
I understand you and Reza have launched your own brand of snacks. They're called we have list.
Adam Neely
Yeah, it's called the pantry list. We literally spent two. Actually have a box here. We. Our good friend Kristin Chenowetz, she hit me up like, hey, can you send me some? So I actually have a box of it right here.
Eddie Judge
What is it?
Adam Neely
It's a. So this is. Okay, so this is me. Okay, this is Reza. So Reza thinks he looks like Fred from I Love Lucy. So, yeah, kinda. This is what happens when you don't get. Get involved in the business. It's like I built this business with our money.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
A Persian trail mix company. You're able to build your own mix with like the different flavored Persian nuts, dried fruits. Because anytime you go over to a Persian house, they always have a bowl of nuts out of some sort or dried fruit. And that's where the idea came from because as an American, I love to snack on chapel mix.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
And then it's like you go to your office and all the good trail mix is gone, except for that weird, nasty stuff at the bottom that nobody ever eats.
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
So I was like, why, why not make a Persian version and Persian version that you want to eat instead of like wasting your money on all that stuff that you're going to throw away?
Eddie Judge
Yeah.
Adam Neely
So it took two years to find our vendors and we launched it early January. And we've been doing great. So we get a lot of sales every day. We get. It's just been phenomenal.
Eddie Judge
So who does the distribution?
Adam Neely
We do.
Eddie Judge
You do. Okay.
Adam Neely
Yeah, we do. So we rent a small kitchen and we do all the packing there. We have a small group of. Of employees who helps us pack everything, weigh everything out and it's. It's great. It's been, it's been eye opening in a way, because. Because like, you're like, wow, people, they really build odd blends. And it's like I would never put these two things together. And. Yeah, and they're great.
Freddie Prinze Jr.
It's.
Adam Neely
It's just fun. And a lot of the.
Eddie Judge
It's a genius idea, by the way, because I'd love to. You know, I love mixed nuts, but there's some that I like more than others, and I tend to justify that there's nuts in there that I don't really like because I wouldn't eat them otherwise. I would just stick to cashews or walnuts or one nut. But it's better for me to just grab a handful and not really. I mean, unless there's a nut that I absolutely am allergic to or just don't like the flavor, which I've never come across one. But it's easier for me to just pick the nut I want or the variety I want. How many different varieties do you have?
Adam Neely
Oh, dude, we have 30 something options. And we're, and we're growing. Like there's other. There's new items we haven't put onto our list yet. So you can either build your own or we have a specialty blend, which are things that we've come up with where you can just like, oh, I don't know what I want. Then you just go to our specialty blends and you select one of those.
Eddie Judge
Okay.
Adam Neely
Like, we have like Kristen. She. She bought our Midnight Crunch and our Silk Road Delux. So Midnight Crunch, imagine like a deconstructed Snickers. It's got raw walnut dates, vegan chocolate chips, and peanut butter filled pretzels.
Eddie Judge
Wow, that sounds really good.
Adam Neely
So good. And it's healthy. It's so healthy.
Eddie Judge
Absolutely. Yeah.
Adam Neely
Like, everything that we have is like, it's very healthy, minus the nougat. Other than that, everything is like vegan, healthy, and organic.
Eddie Judge
I love it. Do you have a website?
Adam Neely
We do. Thepaintrylistofficial.com. if you haven't checked it out, please check it out.
Eddie Judge
Can you say that again a little bit slower? Because I didn't even catch it. The pantrylist official.com pantrylistofficial.com okay, yeah. Awesome.
Adam Neely
That's our website, so feel free to check it out.
Eddie Judge
Awesome. Awesome. Well, I will make sure to announce that when I post these videos that, you know, you've got to try it.
Adam Neely
You.
Eddie Judge
You got to try the nuts. And trust me, I know how hard it is to build a business. So I'm happy to help any way I can.
Adam Neely
Oh, please do. Oh, I'll hit you up later there. If you've never tried a chili lemon cashew.
Eddie Judge
Oh, that sounds so damn good.
Adam Neely
It's gonna rock your socks off. Like, I. I will send you some.
Eddie Judge
How do you make it?
Adam Neely
I just have to ask the vendor.
Eddie Judge
It sounds amazing. I can't wait to try that. Well, Adam, thank you so much for taking the time. I know you're busy. I just wanted to get a chance to get on here, get to know you, and hopefully our audience has questions and they can reach out to you and even buy some product. Get to know your stuff.
Adam Neely
Please do. It's. It's an amazing product. I am not just saying that because it's my business, but it's. It truly is an amazing product.
Eddie Judge
That's awesome, and it's healthy. That's what I really love about it. Now, if you were talking about some alcohol brand, I wouldn't even be mentioning it right now. Everybody's got a vodka. Everybody's got a tequila. I love the health aspect of it. Good for you.
Adam Neely
Thank you.
Eddie Judge
Thank you again. Do you have any questions for me?
Adam Neely
Actually, I do have one question for you, Eddie. When your wife has an issue with someone, do you have to have an issue with that person, too?
Eddie Judge
You know, that's a great question because it's happened multiple times. More specifically, I have. I still am friends with David Bedor, who was married to Shannon Bedor. And when they were married, we used to hang out all the time. We had a lot in common. Both Hilton businesses, part of an entrepreneur organization. We understood the code. We did Spartans together. We became friends. And then when they broke up, he moved on with his life. And, of course, Shannon decided to manipulate my wife to say bad stuff about him. And. And he reached out to me. He's like, I can't be friends with you anymore. Like, what? But, I mean, we can't be friends. And, you know, I took it. I understood. At the same time, I'm like, okay, this is bull. You know, I don't like this. And I'm not gonna jump on this bandwagon, because everything I know about David, I like. He's a cool guy. And, you know, I don't know much about Shannon except what I've seen on the show and the few times I've spent with her. But I. If I was to choose who I'm going to be friends with, it was be obviously David, because I have a lot more in common with him. So I Had a talk with my wife about it, and she says, okay, you're right. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said those things. And I said, thank you. And I talked to David about it, and he's like, okay, we can be friends again.
Adam Neely
Oh, nice. Yeah, I. I've been in that boat.
Eddie Judge
Who did you have to hate?
Adam Neely
Gigi.
Eddie Judge
I had a hate Gigi. Choose your ride and die. How do you.
Adam Neely
I know. It was so hard. She. So during Shaws, her and Reza had an altercation, and she was trying to get physical with them, and I got middle of it. She mauled my neck. Like, I had claw marks down my neck. And I was holding flowers. I was holding roses, and I was protecting the roses. I was like, not the roses. And she just clogged my neck. And Res was like, no, we're done with her. We can't talk to her.
Eddie Judge
Wow.
Adam Neely
So it was really hard. It was really.
Eddie Judge
Yeah, that would be hard for me too, honestly. But thank God we've never gotten physical on our show, because you can say anything to me, call me any name you want. It doesn't bother me. But you lay a finger on me, a different person's gonna come out, and it's gonna protect me, and it's gonna protect my wife. So it's. It's better that I don't get involved,
Adam Neely
which is hard. Which is another reason why I like to stay in the shadows and not really engage too much, because I just rather be squeaky thing.
Eddie Judge
Yeah, I imagine Reza can handle his own. I know my wife certainly can. And I. I've witnessed her go, you know, head to head with not another housewife, just another housewife, but another house husband who wants to be a housewife, and she puts him in his place. So it's just not a show for guys. It just isn't.
Adam Neely
Dude, why is there not a house husband show? Like, with all the house husbands of the housewives?
Eddie Judge
I don't know.
Adam Neely
I want to know the drama that goes on between amongst the men.
Eddie Judge
Well, you know, generally speaking, most men avoid drama. I mean, it's one of our. At least one of my top priorities. If there's drama, I try to avoid it or. Or snuff it out or. I just don't need any unnecessary drama in my life. There's enough challenges to deal with. So knowing that, I think that's why I always say if I had a house husband show of my own, I would be very boring. It'd be like watching paint dry. I am not a drama queen, and it would be boring. I mean, now put me in a F1TV show driving a race car. I'm all about that. That and I can probably create some drama out of that. But I'll get to drive an F1 vehicle.
Adam Neely
Oh, dude, you would love. There's a guy on our show named Greg. That's all he ever does in his free time. He drives out to Palm Springs and he does race cars at Thermal.
Eddie Judge
Right? Yeah. There's a track called Thermal out there. Yeah, it's such a cool track, Such a cool place. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, I, I would love to do something like that, but right now in my life, I'm all about two wheels, motorcycles of any kind, road on road bicycles, anything with two wheels, I love.
Adam Neely
Cool.
Eddie Judge
That was a great question. Thank you so much again, Adam. It's been a pleasure having you. And guess what, you're our first non house husband guest. So it'll be interesting to hear feedback from our, our, our listeners. And you know, please give it to me straight. If you liked Adam, if you have anything good, good, bad, ugly to say about Adam, just give it to us. We can handle it. Right, Adam? Exactly. Thanks again for taking the time. It was very, very nice to meet you.
Adam Neely
Use well. Eddie. Thank you.
