Wells Adams
All right, welcome in all you faithfuls and traders out there for another episode of By Order of the Faithfuls. I'm Wells Adams and I'm alongside Tamara Judge.
Tamara Judge
Today we are missing Dolores. I know she's traveling. Where are you at, Wells?
Wells Adams
I'm in New York right now. I spent the. The holiday here because my wife's doing this Broadway show. And then I worked the. The parade, which was very fun.
Tamara Judge
What'd you do last night?
Wells Adams
I went out for some of my. My good buddy's birthday. She's giving me. She's giving me crap because I've got whiskey and.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, you got a little hair of the dog.
Wells Adams
You know, this is one thing that I needed when I was on Traders, which they wouldn't give us. They did not let us drink, by the way.
Tamara Judge
Don't you think it'd be a better show if they let us drink 100%?
Wells Adams
You give me. You give me two cocktails and you put me in that interview room.
Tamara Judge
So entertaining when I'm drunk. Yes, yes. I just. I understand, like the mission. You can't do that. But as soon as the missions are done, start pumping people with alcohol.
Wells Adams
Yes. What are we doing here? We're making a reality TV show. Let's make a. Let's make a good one.
Tamara Judge
You know, this is sad to say, but I find it hard to even make good reality TV when I'm not drunk. I become an alcoholic three months out of the year.
Wells Adams
My entire job on reality TV is getting people drunk on reality tv. Everyone needs a bartender.
Tamara Judge
They do. And I think that they need. And I think that Dorinda is going to agree with us on that. We'll have to ask her when we bring her in.
Wells Adams
Yes. Speaking of our guest today is Dorinda Medley, a TV personality best known for appearance on the Bravo series the Real Housewives of New York Diddy. In 2015, she joined the cast and remained until season 12. In 2020, she went on to star in season two and four of the Real Housewives, the Ultimate Girls Trip, and appeared on season three of the Traitors, although she was the first one to be eliminated. But fear not, everyone out there. It's been revealed that Dorinda will be making her second appearance in Traders Season 4, airing in January. I imagine she'll do better than she did on season three.
Tamara Judge
Yes. Because they're to get rid of somebody the first time again.
Wells Adams
Yeah. Also stupid on Productions part. You cannot get rid of the biggest TV star on your TV show.
Tamara Judge
Not smart.
Wells Adams
Not smart. We need booze, and we need not to get rid of Dorindom Headley. Those are the two things we need, Peacock.
Tamara Judge
Yep, I agree with that.
Wells Adams
All right, without further ado, welcome onto by order. The Faithfuls. They're in the medley.
Tamara Judge
Oh, my God. Welcome, welcome. We were just talking about drinking on Traders. That the big mistake. I feel like they need to give us alcohol. I understand when the mission's going on, too dangerous to give alcohol, but as soon as that mission's over, start giving us alcohol. We did not go there to go to rehab.
Dorinda Medley
Not only that, I think it would. It would take away a lot of the. It would lower the fear and inhibitions. Like, can you imagine what people would really say with a couple of Mercedes?
Tamara Judge
Exactly, exactly. I was just telling Wells, like, it's hard for me nowadays to even film without. Without having some liquid courage.
Dorinda Medley
Well, I get.
Wells Adams
Yeah, I was having withdrawals there. I was like, guys, you got to let me drink or I'm going to absolutely have a stroke out here. That's when I realized I might have a problem.
Dorinda Medley
Because here. No, it's that. Because there. There's so little outside. Like, anything to relax your nerves. So, like, after a 14 hour day, you just want to sit down.
Wells Adams
Yeah.
Dorinda Medley
Even if they limited it to two or three. Nothing. Like maybe one before the round table.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, maybe two after I say three before the table. That, to me was the most stressful part is that round table.
Dorinda Medley
I never made it to a round table the first round.
Tamara Judge
Okay, well, we know you. You're coming back, though, so.
Dorinda Medley
Did I make it to a round table? I can't remember. No, I just made it to where they got. Where they got the pick.
Wells Adams
Yeah. Dorinda, did you do better than you did on season three and season four?
Dorinda Medley
I can't answer that. I've already been called 92 times, you know? Yeah, of course. I can't find by the. By the traders people. No, by. By the worlds that be. No, they. They really are like, yeah, no, I'm not gonna do any of that. I'm not gonna. For once in my life, I'm gonna.
Tamara Judge
Try not keep my mouth shut.
Dorinda Medley
Yeah. Try not to up.
Tamara Judge
They're very strict, too. Like, I remember after I got murdered, they literally put me in a car, right? Somebody ran to my car with a piece of paper saying, sign here right now. Meaning you can't say a word.
Dorinda Medley
Not only that, then you go home and you realize Especially because I got murdered so easily. People thought I was right. So I had to like, you can't go to a restaurant. Yeah. Because if they see you, then they put two and two together. So I went to the Berkshires. Didn't go on Instagram. You're in isolation.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. Yep. And it's hard because I had the podcast and I thought, oh, I can go home and start doing the podcast. No, I couldn't even tell anybody I was home.
Dorinda Medley
I couldn't do the radio show. Yeah. No. Tam, I heard that you were sick as well. You know, I'm just getting done with being sick. From Bravo Con.
Tamara Judge
Just Eddie had to go to urgent care on Thanksgiving Day morning because he has bronchitis. From Bravo Con.
Dorinda Medley
I went to Solace on. I did the Macy's Day parade on Friday with Macy's. And I came back and I was so cold. I went to sleep for two hours. I woke up, I thought I couldn't breathe. I ended up at Solis. I was like, no, I'm. I think I have Covid. I have something. Like, I was almost hoping it was covet. Otherwise I was like, I'm dying here. Because I wasn't. I wasn't progress. Usually with these things, you progressively get better every day. And I wasn't. I was.
Tamara Judge
That's how Eddie was. And he's like, it's almost over. It's going to be gone. It's going be gone.
Dorinda Medley
I'm like, we're going on two steroid. And it did this.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. They put him on one of those Z packs or what? Something like that.
Dorinda Medley
It's the B. And I don't like to do that, but I'm like, I'm getting too run down.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Wells Adams
Co.
Dorinda Medley
They got to do something about that. That's. That's not much.
Wells Adams
It's go. It's going around for.

Wells Adams
In season three. Dorinda, you were a faithful. So what was it like being a traitor in season four?
Dorinda Medley
Oh my God, this is not going to be a good podcast. I literally, when I saw this on my schedule two days ago, I'm like, what? I almost called Courtney and said because, you know, they kibosh this. But I'm like, now Tamara would do that.
Tamara Judge
No, we're not doing. You have a tipsy Wells over there. He's drinking whiskey right now because he's hungover from last night.
Wells Adams
I am. It's okay. But so can you say what season did you have more Fun on? Season 3 or Season 4?
Dorinda Medley
Again? Can't answer that. Because. Okay, I didn't have any. I wasn't there. Wells. The best part of season three was really the most thing that really. Because I would have left completely devastated and broken heart and feeling very lonely. But when you walked into that room and you sat down and you were like. And I would have never guessed you were the second. It almost made me feel better. Like, I was like. I was like, oh, wait a second. Because you really feel so isolated. You think that you're just the big old loser. You don't realize that other people that are good people are going to be killed off as well. That's the thing. It's such a. It's such a mind game, Right?
Tamara Judge
Oh, yeah.
Dorinda Medley
I think I went back. I did. I will say this. I went back to season four. Just not taking it so personally. And I really had to, in my mind, like, not think like you. There's nothing like Housewives.
Tamara Judge
Did you have any hesitation going back or did you, like, immediately go, yeah.
Dorinda Medley
Let'S do this immediately. Because I felt so jipped and so, so Like I never got to even have the experience. I was. I was almost more when I. When we were at the Also too. I just hated that feeling. You know, we. Camera, I think you can relate to this. We come from a generation where we just don't fail.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Dorinda Medley
Like, you know, especially. And if we do, it's a worthy fail. Like, it's something that you can really just say, okay, get it. Now I know how to. This one I couldn't get my head around. I really. And I really missed out on the camaraderie. I was very jealous how everybody had this secret I didn't have at the reunion. Like, everybody had formed this bond that I was like. Like you do on. If you're lucky. I won't say it for your season, but like you do on Housewives, like you used to do on Housewives, right?
Tamara Judge
Yeah, used to.
Dorinda Medley
So I really felt like I didn't. It was an incomplete task. Check in my psyche. To me, it was just a real big, like, incomplete.
Tamara Judge
Well, you weren't there that long, were you?
Dorinda Medley
I mean, I know, but it's Just who I am, you know.
Tamara Judge
How many days were you actually there? Because I know for me, I don't know if it's the same for you guys. We had to come in three days early. We were isolated.
Dorinda Medley
Yes.
Tamara Judge
We sat in that room like we were in jail. We had to ask for food. We had to ask for medication. And then if you're lucky, you got a walk. And that was about it. So how many days were you there?
Dorinda Medley
But, you know, I just. I just was like. I just. I went in too prepared last time, and I was too. I thought I could figure it out. The thing about. I always say to everyone, everybody should try Traders once. It's almost like a rehab, you know, and not just a light way. Like, you know, you come back from it there one day, five days, 20 days, you come back from it. Like the first time they put. Even in season three when they put their phone. Because no matter what, you still have to do stuff. It's not like you're there overnight and come back. You get there a little early, then you stay and do your final stuff and pack up. Even just having your phone taken away is something that was. I think so good.
Tamara Judge
No, it was horrible.
Dorinda Medley
No, I liked it.
Tamara Judge
I hated it.
Dorinda Medley
But, you know, I don't. I'm not into the phone anymore.
Tamara Judge
I. I'm less into the phone, but I just feel like being that far away. But I still have, like, kids at.
Dorinda Medley
Home, and I don't have that. And Hannah had, like, they had Hannah's number and they had my. And my parent. Like, when Hannah knew, if anything happened to my parents, you know, they would call Hannah and Hannah would call whoever her contact was there.
Tamara Judge
Now, your first. The. For your first mission, would you have done that differently?
Dorinda Medley
Now, looking back, my first mission. No, I don't do that kind of stuff. No. I really wish I could. No.
Tamara Judge
Do you wish you weren't so vocal?
Wells Adams
You did. You would not get back on that pontoon if you had a chance, because.
Dorinda Medley
A hundred percent, I would have. I wasn't really. I saw. When I saw Dolores there by herself, there was no way that I was gonna just. I thought it was terrible the way to this day, not only do I not regret it. Let me just double down like I did on the house.
Wells Adams
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Dorinda Medley
Let me double down. I think it was disgusting the way none of those men got off that path.
Wells Adams
Yeah.
Dorinda Medley
Gonna leave her there.
Wells Adams
We had. We had Ivar on recently. And that was someone who you were very upset with in Season.
Dorinda Medley
Well, Ivar was just very Bloated about everything.
Wells Adams
Yeah.
Dorinda Medley
You know, and he's someone that won by being silent. Like, there's no skill in that. Like, anybody can hide under a rock. Yeah.
Wells Adams
Let's talk about, you know, you had. You have now hindsight. Right. Like, you did season three. It didn't work out well. Then you. You've gotten to go on season four. You filmed the entire thing. You said earlier that one of the things, you try to not take it so personal the second time around. What are some other things that you employed in the second time around that you didn't do the first time?
Dorinda Medley
Well, going into it, I think it's all about going into it. Once you're there, it's kind of like, you know, you have to. It's. There's just a lot of control factors. It's not a. It's not a thing that you can control. But I think the preparation, it was totally different. The going the first time on. I was totally prepared. I was. I hired a trainer. I had read every book Hannah had written me, every philosopher. I had my clothes on point. I like.
Tamara Judge
You were ready.
Dorinda Medley
I was ready. This time. I didn't pack till like, a week before. They kept writing, writing me and writing me. I didn't even work out. I'm like, okay. I just, you know, I did my usual workout routine. Not that kind of. And I just thought, let it be. Like, I just was like, you know what? Clearly what I did before doesn't work. And. And that's it. I'm just gonna go back.
Tamara Judge
And what did Hannah say when you said, I'm going back?
Dorinda Medley
Good. You know? She did, yeah.
Tamara Judge
She's always such a voice of reason, like, mom.
Dorinda Medley
Yeah, good. She's like, you. It's good for you, Mom. You should go back and do it. You were, you know, and see if, you know, because you feel. I did. That's what she used the word. I felt unfulfilled. I felt unfinished. Yeah.
Wells Adams
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
You know, I think it's. It's a good idea that they bring back the. The person that is murdered first and you know what?
Dorinda Medley
I really.
Wells Adams
And second, and.
Tamara Judge
Well, they both. It's not. Not. We're not there yet.
Dorinda Medley
Almost didn't matter. Once I got there, what happened? I was like, yeah, I'm back again. You know what I mean? It's almost like. Yeah.
Tamara Judge
Did it remind you a little bit of Bluestone Manor?
Dorinda Medley
A little bit, yes.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, me too.
Dorinda Medley
Very much. You know, obviously, it's the extreme form. It's. It's sort of like older Cat. Now, here's a funny story about the castle, which you probably don't know. I been in that castle before because when I lived in London, my friend Donald McTaggart, who still owns it.
Tamara Judge
Do they live in Greece?
Dorinda Medley
Yes, yes. He was married to. My friend, said, you know everything, Tam, which you don't know.
Tamara Judge
I ask questions.
Dorinda Medley
My very good still friend, Sabina McTaggar, who's German, and we'd gone up there one weekend. Now, it wasn't fixed up inside and you didn't actually stay there, but we had had like a lunch on the grounds and it's. It was called Banniston Castle or something.
Tamara Judge
Why did they buy it?
Dorinda Medley
Well, it was a family castle. Right. So Donald McTaggart, who is Greek now, but obviously has Scottish heritage. You know how they inherit everything over there? And. And it was really like. Here's the thing. I lived in London for 10 years and I. And I.
Wells Adams
So.
Dorinda Medley
And I would go to Scotland every weekend because my husband, my first husband was Scottish. And we spent every weekend in Scotland because he was part owner of the Celtic football team. We have soccer teams. Football, whatever. But we used to wander a lot. And then his brother owned a little mini castle. So, like, I know it sounds crazy, but it was kind of like you see in one castle you're seeing them all because, you know, they're kind of so many rundown castles in England and that people go and have lunches on that. When I went the first time, and then it all happened so fast. I thought, God, it just seems so familiar to me. How weird, right? And then Donald called me and said, you know, I can't believe you were at the. I said, I knew it.
Tamara Judge
So now the family just rented out to. I heard they had weddings there.
Dorinda Medley
Well, now it's up.
Tamara Judge
They're contracted to traders.
Wells Adams
Right.
Dorinda Medley
That one place. And the economics of that place have been a game changer because what once was for Donald, a complete money suck. And sort of this place that. What do you do, just pay the taxes and keep it remotely. Now it's a. It's not only a huge tourist attraction, the place. And for weddings and events.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Dorinda Medley
Now for the people come to the town, I mean, it's like they go to see two things now. The Loch Ness Monster. Monster. And the Trader's Castle.
Tamara Judge
Well, the Trader's Castle, for people that have not been in it, the whole downstairs is pretty staged.
Dorinda Medley
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
It staged with like a set, like the kitchen.
Dorinda Medley
You're not afraid?
Tamara Judge
No, I don't think so. I think, like, I don't think there's like a working oven or anything like that in there. And upstairs, I had ventured upstairs and it's all being renovated. At least it was in season two.
Dorinda Medley
Well, even, you know, you could see from season three to when I went season four, like the bathrooms are being done what they've done, which is clever and they should, they're obviously as, as the show wins more and more Emmys and it gets more and more. Now they're doing the civilian one and they're, they're running with this and obviously people are obsessed. And I really think it's the way of where reality is going is into these kind of wacky shows. They have money, so you're gonna watch. They're gonna end up doing that whole entire castle. I wouldn't be surprised at some point if they finish the whole thing. They have some people stay there because. Yeah, they're moving fast and getting that. But I'll tell you a fun fact about it, you know, it's very haunted.
Tamara Judge
I could imagine.
Dorinda Medley
Yeah.
Wells Adams
Well, so many people have been murdered there and banished. I imagine that.
Tamara Judge
Well, is it you haunting it?
Wells Adams
Well, just rattling chains late at night.
Dorinda Medley
It did remind me of an extreme form of blue stone man. Because blue stone man is not like, well, you, you know, it's not like a regular house. It's sort of like an old fashioned house that's got, you know, obviously it has modern day. Although Vicki wouldn't say it. Vicki would say it's like barely got electricity, but it is all modernized. Right.
Tamara Judge
It is, it's beautiful.
Dorinda Medley
But it's run like in the same fashion in a lot of ways. You know what I mean? Yeah.
Tamara Judge
And then you're on how many acres?
Dorinda Medley
21.
Tamara Judge
That's all.
Dorinda Medley
But I'm selling some of it. So I, I'm, I made a decision. I. So here's an interesting story, Wells. I, I, My husband, my late husband bought me this property before we were married. So as a wedding present, because I love the house growing up because I grew up down the road and my great grandfather built this house.
IBM Advertiser
Okay.
Tamara Judge
I didn't know your great grandfather, I didn't know that.
Dorinda Medley
My great grandfather was brought over from Italy as the team to be one of the, the masons. My grandfather, my uncle and then my grandfather worked at it. So it was kind of like my grandfather, my Italian sign were all masons and all that. You can imagine those boy cement people. Okay. Very Italian.
Wells Adams
Yeah.
Dorinda Medley
So I always grew up in the house over the years was owned and then not owned. And we Used to wander the grounds with my brother and go with these old crazy houses that were all over the Berkshires from the Gilded Age. And I would say to them, I'm going to own the house today. I told Ralph the story, and we were dating. We got engaged. He then bought me the house. But the house had never been renovated, so, you know, it's it. So he bought it for me six months before we got married, which was very fortuitous and so lucky, because when he died, it wasn't part of the merit. It wasn't part of the estate. So when it was, it was such a. Like. Not that I'm happy he had to pass to learn, but it's almost like it was predictive, because if I remember going to Proskauer's, the law firm, and. And we were doing assets, and he came back to me, like, a week later, he said, by the way, this isn't an asset in your state because it's only. It's only in your name. And it was purchased six months before you were married. How bizarre is that?
Tamara Judge
That is.
Wells Adams
Oh, man. One day I want to own a manor. That would be very.
Dorinda Medley
I don't know if you do. It's a lot of work. I mean, at this point, how often are you there? Why?
Tamara Judge
How often are you there?
Dorinda Medley
A lot, because my parents are still down the road, and my parents are old and faltering, and it's just kind of in my blood at this point. But it goes in spurts. Like, for instance, now I'm back. I came back last night. It's sort of. I won't go back up until closer to Christmas. Hannah's here. There's a lot going on.
Tamara Judge
Remind me how long the drive is.
Dorinda Medley
A little over two hours.
Tamara Judge
That's what I thought. It's like me going to Big Bear. Takes two hours to get there.
Dorinda Medley
Beautiful drive. You know, up in Millbrook, I have. You know, I see some friends in Millbrook, and. Listen, I think there's. There's. But. But the funny thing is, I never knew how many acres I owned because Richard died. And I just was, like, trying to get through that and survive through that and think, what. How am I gonna. What am I. I didn't even. I would, to tell you the truth. When I was married to Richard, I never paid a bill. I know. I know you can't believe that about me, but I leaned into it. I leaned in. Mrs. Medley, Foley.
Tamara Judge
It's not a bad place to be. It's not a bad place to be.
Wells Adams
I. One day Dream of also never paying.
Dorinda Medley
Here. This woman, and she was great. All the bills. I didn't even barely get mail. They just got paid. And I was like, well, this is.
Tamara Judge
Funny how that happened because I grew.
Dorinda Medley
Up with no money. So all of a sudden I was.
Tamara Judge
Like, what do you mean?
Dorinda Medley
I. He goes, yeah, you know, she just. It all goes to the office, so that gets paid. So of course, I. You know, you can lean into rich people stuff very easily. It's. It's very easy.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Wells Adams
And we talk about Traders and not.
Dorinda Medley
Yes, go ahead.
Wells Adams
Not about your manner.
Dorinda Medley
Oh, yes, I know. I don't know how we did that. Sorry. That's how it happen with me.
CarMax Advertiser
Right.
Wells Adams
You Housewives will just go on tangents.
Dorinda Medley
Terrible.
Wells Adams
Obviously, at BravoCon, they showed the trailer for season four. I know that you can't talk a whole lot about it, but what can you say about season four to get people excited? Allan said something like, it's the, you know, like, the craziest thing happens this season. What can you say about season four to get everyone pumped?
Dorinda Medley
Well, I think I can tell you right now, it's just an incredible cast. It's a very interesting, eclectic, colorful cast. It's a much more sort of. And I think there's. It's just a cast that's much more filled with antics and. And, dare I say, a little housewifery.
Wells Adams
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
Oh, dare you. Anybody you didn't care for in the cast?
Dorinda Medley
Yes. And I can't even. It's not that you care for me. Just did not take to me the. There were just certain people that, you know, I think you always lean towards the Housewives. I was very happy to see Lisa Rinna, but then there was.
Tamara Judge
I'm dying to see Lisa Rana because we haven't gotten any Lisa Rana for a few years since she left Beverly Hills. She's amazing tv.
Dorinda Medley
Like, it's such a shame she's not on TV to me.
Tamara Judge
What housewives would you like to see go on Traders next?
Dorinda Medley
You know who I think would be great on Traders is Carol Rossiwell.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, for sure.
Dorinda Medley
She's like a living. You know, even when she would come to Booster Manor, she's constantly playing Clue. Like, she's just. She would be great.
Tamara Judge
She's very intelligent.
Dorinda Medley
Very intelligent. I. I also said I think she would be great. I actually think Luanne would be great on Traders.
Tamara Judge
She'd be entertaining, that's for sure.
Dorinda Medley
You know what I mean? She's just wandering around the castle, you know, just because she's such a character. She's authentically sell herself that I would just. Just love to see that. Who else? You know, it takes a certain type of people. Not that person. Not all Housewives are transferable to traders. I don't think you've got a lot.
Wells Adams
Of celebrity friends outside of housewives. I get asked this question a lot, too, of, like, who do you think would be really good on the show? Who do you think would be really good on the show that's not part of the Housewives family that you are friends with?
Dorinda Medley
You know what? I think they should have. They should have on, like, a famous chef because chefs are such great thinkers. We were talking about this before on your show. They're such great, like, they, you know, people think that chefs are sort of like these happy, go lucky. They're not. They're like, they maneuver. They're great thinkers. They're a little dark. They're a little roll. They're a little sinister. Every chef, like Jean George to me, would be great on it.
Wells Adams
Gordon Ramsay would be scary. Oh, that would be so fun.
Dorinda Medley
I think that. I think someone like Sarah Paulson would be great.
Wells Adams
Ooh, what politician do you think would be good on the show? I mean, I think all of them would be good because they're great at lying.
Dorinda Medley
But I think any of the people that are in office now, because they're also. It's sort of like we're in the world of traders right now. Traders and the Hunger Games, take a pick. We, you know, we.
Tamara Judge
You're not wrong.
Dorinda Medley
Why don't we just play? You know, it'd be great on Elon Musk. See, imagine him wandering around the castle.
Tamara Judge
You know, how much money he'd want to do that. And the time commitment. That's because I'm always thinking, like, it would be great to have, like, a list celebrities doing this as well, to see a different side of them, but none of them. It'd be so expensive to hire them. And then the time commitments.
Dorinda Medley
I mean, they've got all these Emmys, and they must be getting tons of, like, making more and more money now. You would think. What about Lisa Vanderpump? I thought she'd be good.
Tamara Judge
I just don't think she'd do it. Like, I know. Like, I know for a fact, like, I. Heather Dubrow would never do it. She just wouldn't do it. I just don't see her doing that. She's like, no way. The time commitments.
Dorinda Medley
You know, you have to go pretty rogue. You have to kind of be really open to.
Tamara Judge
And not everybody wants to do that.
Dorinda Medley
No. Well, I think Nene leaks would be great. I think at some point she was.
Tamara Judge
Didn't they ask her. Didn't they ask Nene and she turned it down or something? Or is that a rumor?
Dorinda Medley
I. I can't remember. I. I thought I heard that too. You know, as you guys know, they don't tell you anything. I know that people think that we know a lot before we go into it. But you don't.
Tamara Judge
No, we know nothing.
Dorinda Medley
You know who I think would be good is Lala.
Tamara Judge
Oh, Lala would be great. Lala. I'm a big Lala fan, so Lala could do no wrong in my eyes.
Dorinda Medley
She's good at. She's a good little thinker on her feet.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. Yeah.

Who'S.
Wells Adams
Going to be the breakout star of season four, do you think? Who's gonna be the Dylan Efron of season four?
Dorinda Medley
What does that mean?
Tamara Judge
The sexy guy? Is there gonna be like a sexy guy that's always dude taking the baths, the showers to open his body up?
Dorinda Medley
I mean when I, when I walk in in the first day and saw that Rob Ro. Yeah. People. I mean, who's that?
Tamara Judge
I don't even know who that is.
Dorinda Medley
He is one of the people from Love Island. He doesn't really.
Tamara Judge
Oh, they're all beautiful people.
Dorinda Medley
He's. He doesn't really speak but he's got. He's beautiful but yeah, he's very quiet. But there's.
Tamara Judge
He's beautiful but dumb as a box of rocks.
Dorinda Medley
No, he's not. Strangely, he's not dumb. He's just very quiet.
Tamara Judge
I'm joking. It was like Britney Spears is ex.
Dorinda Medley
And I think I got to tell you something, he would have fooled me on Love Island. I mean all he had, he could have said anything to me and I would have fallen for it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean as soon as everybody saw him and he's kind of like the, the guy that. The outdoors guy. Kind of like overalls but very good.
Tamara Judge
Looking look kind of like Sam. This is name Sam Britney Spears.
Dorinda Medley
More rugged. Like he wrangles snakes and stuff. Like oh wow. I know already. You fall in love with Them.
Wells Adams
I wanted to ask you, you know, like, obviously you've made such good TV for a long time on Real Housewives and then. And now doing Traders for a second time. What do you think about the show Traders specifically that makes it such a good reality TV show?
Dorinda Medley
I think a. Because of the secrecy. I think it's amazing the way they keep thick veil of secrecy. People love that the production value is off the charts. Alan Cummings is just brilliant. I mean I was. Every time we walked through the door, I was excited to see them. And the way that they, they. The way that they create it is such an incredible exercise in human behavior and how conformity and how, you know, people quickly change and are willing to do things you never thought you would do. It's such an exercise in human nature. It's like that book that we all read growing up. The ones they're all put on the island and they all turn against each other.
Wells Adams
Lord of the Flies.
Dorinda Medley
Lord of the Flies. It becomes like a living lord, you know, it's like Lord of the Flies. And, and it's, it's. The psychology behind it to me is brilliant. It's like it's writable.
Wells Adams
Every show can be better now. Whether they are or they aren't going forward, that remains to be seen. What's one thing that the show could do to make it better?
Dorinda Medley
I just want to watch tv.
Wells Adams
Let us drink when we're happy.
Tamara Judge
We talk about this in quite a few episodes.
Dorinda Medley
Want to watch television?
Tamara Judge
Well, they do. They do change television.
Dorinda Medley
I'm at the point because I don't got a man in my bed. I got that TV on.
Tamara Judge
Oh my God. But you know, they do change it up just a little bit every new season. And we've talked about this before and thought it'd be really cool if they didn't let the audience know who the traitors were.
Dorinda Medley
I agree with you. I think I don't understand that why they announced them so early. And not only just because why, but second of all because they know they're going to get murdered. So when people see you out, it's a way for people. The sluice and God knows the sleuths are so good now to figure it out. If they don't know, then they'll not know if you're back home or not.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, yeah, right.
Wells Adams
It would be so fun. I mean the editing would be hard, right. Because you have to choose what you want to use. And you could probably lead people down a path that was incorrect if you weren't exposing who the traders were to the audience. But I do think it would make for a really fun TV show, especially make it interactive. The. Well, the audience could then be like, voting. Like, I think it's so.
Dorinda Medley
I don't even think they should announce the cast so early on.
Tamara Judge
Well, you know why they do that? They didn't do that in the very beginning, but it just leaks. Like, I started getting text messages while I was on the plane to Scotland saying, hey, I'm gonna let you know Dan is gonna be there. I heard Dan is there. Maybe it's a spotting. Maybe something on. Somebody saw him put on social media. Well, I don't know how people. But I'm like, who's Dan?
Dorinda Medley
I don't know who.
Wells Adams
Dan. Yeah. Dorinda, thank you so much for coming on. By order of the faithful.
Tamara Judge
Miss you.
Wells Adams
Will you promise to. Will you promise us right now that you'll come back on while the show's air.
Dorinda Medley
Absolutely. Then I can spill the beans.
Wells Adams
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
Oh, I want that. Yeah.
Dorinda Medley
I wish you were in New York. We're gonna finally have dinner together. We've been promising each other we're gonna have dinner for years, and we haven't done it yet.
Wells Adams
We're gonna go to a Broadway show.
Dorinda Medley
He said New Yorker. Yeah.
Wells Adams
We're gonna go see my wife's show and then we're gonna go to dinner and we're gonna have a nice dancing.
Dorinda Medley
In front of me at the Macy's Day Parade. I'm like, wait a second.
Wells Adams
I know. I. She.
Tamara Judge
Did you get video? Did you get.
Wells Adams
Mary texted me and she was. Dorinda was there, and I was like, why didn't she go say hi to her guy? I just see it on my phone.
Dorinda Medley
I realized that it was going to be such a huge thing. When they were like, when Macy's invited me, I thought, okay, I'll go, I'll stop by. Meanwhile, they sent you that big, long itinerary and then breakfast and all these people were there. I was like, oh, this is like a real thing. Oh, yeah, like a real, real thing.
Tamara Judge
What this is cannot be the first time you were there.
Dorinda Medley
First time. I've never been in New York for Thanksgiving because I was. This is the first year I've never not hosted at Bluestone Manor. And I'm going to tell you something, folks. I'll never host again at Bluestone Manor. Thanksgiving, I am staying in New York City. But, Cameron, let me tell you a really funny story. Hannah left so hard, so I had to run to the bathroom, like, partway through. So I snuck out and, you know, said hi to people, but, you know, there's a lot. Everyone's focused on much bigger people than me. I thought, oh, okay. So it was gonna come out, and I. When I walked out, the crowd went crazy. So I start waving to the crowd to hold on, and the Grinch was walking behind me.
Tamara Judge
Hannah goes, oh, my God, mom, you're such a sucker.
Dorinda Medley
She goes, meanwhile, you're waving. Well, they're not excited about seeing me. Okay, now it's the Grinch.
Tamara Judge
You were upstage by the Grinch.
Dorinda Medley
Here he goes, mom, that is classic Durinda Methley.
Wells Adams
Oh, my gosh.
Tamara Judge
Always a good story with you.
Wells Adams
All right, thank you, Dorinda. We love you.
Tamara Judge
We'll talk to you soon.
Dorinda Medley
I love you guys. Love you, too. Bye.
Wells Adams
Always fun to talk to Dorinda. I'm glad that she got to go back because I was so annoyed. Like, the television producer in me was very annoyed that I thought the biggest television star that we had on the show was kicked off of me.
Tamara Judge
Did you know. So you knew her before?
Wells Adams
Yeah. I mean, like, listen, I don't. No offense, I don't really watch Real Housewives shows. Like, that's more of my wife's bag. Yeah. But I knew who she was, you know? Like, it was almost like she is so big that she, like, kind of transcends that. That world. Lisa Renner is a good example of that as well. Like, I know that person. And I just remember thinking, you know, I watched season two, and Johnny Bananas got kicked out first, and I was like, it's so dumb. He makes such good tv. And then when she went out, I was like, it's so dumb. She makes such good tv. So I'm glad that she gets to go back.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Wells Adams
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
When I think that everybody that's gets let go the very first day should have a chance of going back. I like that they do that.
Wells Adams
They should have one season where it's just people kicked off first.
Tamara Judge
All the losers.
Wells Adams
Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Tamara Judge
Oh, my gosh.
CarMax Advertiser
Yeah.
Wells Adams
Call it the. Yeah. They should. Yeah.
Tamara Judge
Well, they're gonna start getting creative. I mean, there's only so much talent out there when it comes to reality that they're going to be, like, resurfacing, recycling, you know, going back 50 years.
Wells Adams
And that's when I will make my triumphant return. Right? Yes. All right, everyone out there, thanks so much for listening to my order of the Faithfuls. If you're not following us on social media, please do. We're at by order. The Faithfuls on Instagram. Rate like comment, review if you can and tell your friends. Wells Adams
It's going to be super. So much fun. We'll be back again better than ever very, very soon. Thank you guys so much for listening and we'll see you soon.
