Hi guys. Welcome to a special Episode of the Twat Seat. We are excited to have on Dorinda Medley. She was a contestant on Traitors Season 3. Obviously, she was a previous cast member on the Real Housewives of New York City. In her bio, it says feisty and outspoken, Dorinda expressed resentment for sacrificing her spot for a shield to allow the whole group to have a bigger pot of money. She eventually became the primary target by the Traitors among all the Housewives contestants as their first murder to further evoke chaos, which resulted in her being the first eliminated contestant, she was the main cast member on New York city from season seven through 12. I thought she was on longer.

Medley left the franchise for a few years until she returned in 2023's the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls trip. Let's bring her in.

Now, I may have been on Watch Heavens Live. I may have been on the Tonight show, but this year I finally made it on two T's.

We love you. We're happy you're here. What's new? Are you dating anyone? What's the 41 1? Give us some tea.

What's new? Well, trying to date, but I don't know how to approach it. I just don't. Like, do I go on a nap? I was actually so funny. You asked me this, Teddy. I was just getting my hair done. I was thinking, do I finally go on an app?

[Dorinda Medley]

Well, I'm gonna try it, I think.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I mean, I went on. I went on an app.

[Tamara Judge]

I am on.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

No. So I didn't make any announcement on Instagram, but I. I'm. I've went on an app. But here's the problem with the app. Like, one. I don't know that I would naturally, like, be attracted to someone solely by a photograph. Like, I have. I need both. So I'm. I'm like, the way that I have kind of been handling the app is I was at dinner with Kyle and a bunch of our friends for her birthday, and we decided as a group to go through the people who have given me a rose. And then you just kind of go.

[Dorinda Medley]

Wait, what app is this?

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Hinge.

[Dorinda Medley]

Oh, I don't know.

[Tamara Judge]

It's so funny because someone told me to go on Hinge.

[Dorinda Medley]

What About Raya. I hear people.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

No, you don't want Raya, because Raya is. I mean, granted, I didn't get accepted to Raya, so I don't know.

[Tamara Judge]

Well, I didn't get accepted either.

[Dorinda Medley]

Oh, so you applied?

[Tamara Judge]

I applied to Raya ages ago. And Andy Cohen actually wrote me a recommendation. And Carol Rosu. I had, like, a stellar recommendation list, and I didn't get it. They said, you're on a wait list. And I was thinking, wait a second. Luanne and Sonia and everyone else is on. Like, why not me? Maybe I'm just not artsy enough.

[Dorinda Medley]

Even Shep's on it.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah, exactly.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

But also, even people that don't fit the criteria of being on it are on it. So I don't know, maybe they're just booked up. But my friend that is on it, she said Raya is, like, actually, it' small of a pool, and it's a bunch of bullshitters anyway. So. I mean, the thing about hinge. Well, at least the problem that I'm finding with hinge is I don't know why. Like, the only people reaching out to me are young people.

[Tamara Judge]

Oh, no, I don't.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

And I don't. I'm like, no, no, you look young. What about like. So I think it's people reaching out. Like, they want to have a good time. And then I look in their bios, and it's like, open to short term, blah, blah, blah.

[Dorinda Medley]

You don't waste any time, man. Yeah, it's been 15 minutes. You're already on a dating app.

[Tamara Judge]

I mean, I didn't know we were gonna go there. I was gonna say, how you doing with everything going on? You're doing great.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Guys, this doesn't mean that I'm doing great. It means I need to distract somebody. Even on the app said to me, he's like, hey, I know who you are. You're clearly on here because you need a distraction right now. And I do. I mean, there's two nights a week where I'm living at freaking Kyle's house that I don't have my kids. You know, I. I'm not in a place where I'm going to be going out to clubs or meeting people. So, like, I to have somebody just to talk with a little bit. Like, I need a little bit of a distraction, but it's a tricky.

[Tamara Judge]

How long were you married?

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I was with Edwin for 16 years.

[Tamara Judge]

This is a big change for you.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah. I mean. And I'm laughing right now. You could have talked to me last week. And I was sobbing. I mean, you know how it is. Like, the going through the different stages of grief.

[Dorinda Medley]

Knows that better than both of us.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

Loss is a. It's a terrible thing, and it's such a readjustment. And you know what it is? It's. It's because we assume at this point in our lives that we kind of are where we're supposed to be. So to have to throw everything. The baby out with the bathwater and start you. I often would say, really? Again?

[Dorinda Medley]

Again?

[Tamara Judge]

This wasn't the plan.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah, I mean, it was. And for someone like me, who's like an uber planner, you know, like, this isn't. Of course it's not what I wanted. Of course I would never want my kids to be sad. And I. You know, I'm doing everything in my power to make sure that we both show up for our kids in the best way possible. But I also think it's impossible to navigate your emotions from day to day. Like, there are some days where I am, like, sobbing my eyes out and I' I can't be alone. I can't do that. I don't want this. I. You know, like, all of these things. And then there's some days where I'm like, I'm actually okay.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah. Well, it's going to be. This is the thing I always say about any sort of grief for loss. In the beginning, it's so big and it's so overwhelming, and you just. You can't get. You navigate around the grief. And then as time goes on, you'll. You'll find that different sorts of people will enter your life that maybe you wouldn't have had if you were still married. You'll be open to different situations, and you start growing bigger. And the grief never goes away, the loss. But it gets smaller and smaller, your life bigger and bigger. And that's the good news. You'll find in six months, you'll be like, you know what? I kind of look forward to being alone today. I like my alone.

[Dorinda Medley]

I told you that, like, especially with the separation of the kids, you'll get to a point where you're like, you know what? I like my me time. I like, sometimes, like, go to daddy. Mommy needs her me time. And you appreciate those.

[Tamara Judge]

New York for a week. And of course, she's. She'll kill me for saying this, because, you know, we can't say the word. Hannah. I get a text. I'll dare you.

[Dorinda Medley]

But I tell my son is, don't talk about me, Pa publicly.

[Tamara Judge]

But she was here for Almost a week. And at the beginning, it was all so great. I was cooking. I was loving it. Oh, so everything. By the end, I was like, get.

[Dorinda Medley]

Out of my house.

[Tamara Judge]

Bye.

[Dorinda Medley]

Bye. It looks like there's no more.

[Tamara Judge]

There's no more, you know, whatever soda. I'm like, what do I. You know, it just changed completely because I'm so used to being alone, being on my own.

[Dorinda Medley]

Yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah. And that's a problem for me because it really. I didn't do it right. When I. If I were to suggest, like, I think of people that kind of got divorced or lost a partner, they get right back on the horse and start dating. And even though I dated John, I knew it was never going to be serious. I saw him twice a week. I know people don't believe that, but I really did. He never over. It was sort of a. Just a. You know, And I adore. I still talk to him, but it was never going to be that sort of thing. I jumped into Holy. And I think when you went, wait too long, especially when you're a little older, like I am, you can get a little weird about your time.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

And then also, you as. I mean, I've noticed as. As I age, I'm even more particular about, like, oh, well, that's not gonna work for me. You know, like, I'm very.

[Dorinda Medley]

Joanna, don't you feel like, you know, Richard was the love of your life, and he's not. He's not replaceable. And, like, I always thought, like, if something happened to Eddie, I don't necessarily think that I'd run out and date. When. When I divorced. You know, when I got divorced, I'm like, kelly, I want to date. But at this point, when you have that love of your life and it fulfilled you in every way, it's like, I don't really want to. I was lucky to have that.

[Tamara Judge]

You know what's interesting, Tam? When I was thinking about this as well the other day, I think I said it in an interview, and then I really talked about it to myself, because I do a lot of talking to myself, being on my own a lot. Right up there, Blue Stomander wandering around aimlessly. I. I don't know if Richard Medley, if it would work now after being really such a different person than the person that I was with him.

[Dorinda Medley]

But you were forced to be a different person. You lost.

[Tamara Judge]

But, like, if he landed. If, like, he showed up tomorrow and said, it's all a joke, I actually was just away for 13 years. Let's pick up where we left off, left, off. I think it'd be very difficult for both.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Question. Was this just a rumor or was your relationship with Richard based on one of the care. Was there a character or a couple on sex? What was that?

[Tamara Judge]

One of the characters was supposedly based on me. I think she fell out a window or something like that, because I was, like, smoking a cigarette. She fell out the window. So the truth of the matter is it could be.

[Dorinda Medley]

What do you think Richard would have thought of your reality TV career?

[Tamara Judge]

That's strange. He loved going like we would go, because you remember, I was friends with all the girls, so we would go to all the filming. And he is as a big academic as he was and sort of very serious guy in his world. He loved because he was a genius. So this sort of thing fascinated human behavior. Fascinated. So we went to all the filming. I. I think he always said to me, if you want to do it, you can do it. But I couldn't do it at the time because Hannah's father, obviously Hannah, was in school. I just didn't want to do it.

[Dorinda Medley]

I honestly didn't know that he filmed with you.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah. Yes. He would come. He was out.

[Dorinda Medley]

I did not know that.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah, he. He was fascinated by the. The process, and he found the women very entertaining. He loved Luann, he loved Ramona, you know, so it was. I know, but it's. It's more. Not so much the filming part. I don't. I think he would, because he didn't care about those things. I'm just fiercely, fiercely independent now. To the point, like, literally, I went on, like, three dates with this guy, my friend Mona. I was laughing so hard about this. I'm like, you know, Mona just started pissing me off. He kept saying to me, what are you doing this weekend? What are you doing this weekend? And I'm like, well, that's not your business. And she goes, well, that's kind of nice. I'm like, no, it's intrusive.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah, yeah. Oh, and one. Not to make this about me, but, Tam, one thing that you said that I want to clarify, because this will be what's picked up as clickbait. You said, you know, because Eddie is the love of your life, he fulfilled you in all these ways. Like, you don't think that you can move on. I don't want to discredit the love that I had for Edwin that I still have for Edwin.

[Dorinda Medley]

Yes, of course. And you have children together. He's the father of your kids.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Like, he's my family. So whether we're going through ups or downs, and we're, you know, we're deciphering our next steps. Like, I love Edwin, like I always.

[Tamara Judge]

And that will grow. You know, it's. Hannah's father, Ralph, always comes and stays. Comes the day after Christmas and has lunch. And I still love him. Like, if he called me at two in the morning and needed me for anything, I would run to his age. Yeah. Once you're bonded in that way and you share children and you share life, I think it's a shame when people don't get along. I think it's a loss. I don't think you have to stay married forever. And I've been very lucky because I am surrounded by incredible people and the. And I don't have a ton of friends. I know people think I do, but I don't. But the people I like and the people that, you know, I chose to attach to are. I keep them. You know, I don't. You know, And I have a lot of very strong women friends, and I find women, especially women of our age, very fascinating.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Well, speaking of, you know, we know when you first were put on pause or whatever it was, you had said you'd cried your eyes out.

[Tamara Judge]

I may. I may be at pause, but I'm ready to play.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Where do you. Where do you stand now? Like, are you liking life without Real Housewives of New York or.

[Tamara Judge]

Yes. You know, but it was. I'm not. I'm not like the other housewives. It wasn't easy for me. I. I bawled my eyes out.

[Dorinda Medley]

Well, me and you bonded over, actually.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah.

[Dorinda Medley]

The three of us were let go at the same time.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I know. During the. Me.

[Dorinda Medley]

That's how me and Teddy bonded was over the loss of the show. That's how me and you also got super close. It was me, you, even Hannah. Hannah would get on the phone and talk, and she's such a voice of reason, and she's like, wanted to knock our heads together and say, pull your head out of your asses. This is not a good show for you.

[Tamara Judge]

But I think.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

But I think, you know, there's.

[Dorinda Medley]

We're the new Trace amigos.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

But also, I think women like us. Rejection in any way does not feel good.

[Tamara Judge]

No, I don't get fired. I mean, I was the woman that was employee of the month all the time, like, to the point where I can't make the employee of the month again. I'm like, oh, yeah, you can, because you know what I mean? So I. I grew up in that. The era where you know, women like us were very competitive. We had to be the best. We didn't get fired. Yeah, that wasn't our mo.

Yeah, that was the first time I was ever fired from anything.

[Tamara Judge]

Me too.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Me too.

Very first time. Not a job. Not even Burger King. Didn't even get fired from there.

The great thing about NBC or they do revisit you. Like I've done a couple ultimate girls trips. You know, I just, I just did traders. They do. And that's enough now for me. Speaking of Bravo, you know, I'm not gonna not ask. Can we clear up the error about the fellow Bravo, Liberty Lindsay Hubbard, saying you spread a rumor that she was pregnant and miscarried? Like, what happened here? Please explain. I'm lost.

[Tamara Judge]

Nothing to explain. I don't know her. I don't even know if we've ever met. She supposedly was in the same room doing makeup with me at Bravo Con. Never said that. Have no control. And actually NBC and Bravo backed me. Said that I didn't have. I have nothing. Can you imagine if I had anything to do with casting? Don't have that. Didn't. We don't have any friends. It's just absolutely a hundred percent rumor.

[Dorinda Medley]

Margaret told me the same thing.

[Tamara Judge]

Know me like Tamworthy vouchers. I'm not that woman.

[Dorinda Medley]

Yeah, yeah. Honestly, I had a conversation with Margaret. I'm like, what the. And she goes, tamara, it never happened.

[Tamara Judge]

It never happened. She wasn't even at the party.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

I was there with NBC people and Jersey Girls and they were all ready to come out. So I don't even. It's funny as you, you know, but maybe the. The listeners don't know Summer house people and housewife. We don't hang out together just because we're on Bravo. There's like the blow deck people. There's the summer house people.

[Dorinda Medley]

Only at BravoCon. We'll see. Like, that's where I met most of them.

[Tamara Judge]

No world in mind where her and our lives cross.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Right.

[Tamara Judge]

I know about. First of all, she didn't have a miscarriage, so how would I know? I mean, Gabby, no miscarriage is such a personal thing.

[Dorinda Medley]

Yeah. For you to say something very privately. Was she trying to insinuate that you had her kicked off of Traitors because she was cast and pregnant.

[Tamara Judge]

Can I tell you something? That's what I think was really the crux of it. And I think also too maybe. And listen, I wish her well. She just had a beautiful baby, you know, she should just focus on that, you know, but, you know, I don't know why she would think or anyone would think as you know, we don't even know who's going to be on Traders.

[Dorinda Medley]

I know.

[Tamara Judge]

Does she.

[Dorinda Medley]

I know you don't. Has she reached out to you at all to say, like.

And you know what?

That's the shame of it. If she picked up the phone. But there's no. There's no art.

You can DM somebody. You know what I mean? You can do anything.

Well, she could have just called Jen Geyser and said what's true. Yeah.

And get the phone.

That was. To me, that was just sad.

I was like, really taken. I'm like, whoa. Like, those are some deep, deep, terrible things to say.

Like, are you kidding me?

Because do you have any idea who might have said. Told her that?

No, but that's another thing. If you're gonna. My whole thing in life is if you're gonna make accusations, say who it is.

Yeah, yeah.

Just tell me who it is and then we'll really clear it up fast.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah.

[Dorinda Medley]

Now as close it's gonna change subject. As close as we are, we never talked about what happened on Traders before it aired. That's a hard show to do. Now I know for sure. Being the first person to be murdered in the season is not only disappointing, it's kind of embarrassing. It's like you packed up, you were there, you went a fart, you know, a long ways. You're in isolation for three days. You got to.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

You had to be out on that freaking too.

[Tamara Judge]

It's like over preparing for the Olympics and then not running in the game. I got the clothes, I've worked out, I've studied well, that's the thing.

[Dorinda Medley]

Like, there's so much preparation. There's psychological exams. There's all kinds of things. You have to have a physical. You get there, you're isolated. Then you have to do a swimming test. They. I mean, it's your big day out. The first three days, they take you to the ymca.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I can't picture either of you doing a swimming test.

[Dorinda Medley]

Swimming. I was so excited to do that damn swimming test. Did you have to do it?

[Tamara Judge]

No, we didn't do a swimming test.

[Dorinda Medley]

Oh, we had to Do a swimming test.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Oh, yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

I was just excited to be there. You know, I blocked out the three weeks I was in it. It was as if they. I was going to war.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

You know, you had planned on winning that thing.

[Tamara Judge]

I'll be back in three weeks.

[Dorinda Medley]

Don't worry about me.

[Tamara Judge]

And then it's like, I'm home.

[Dorinda Medley]

I know, I know. When Johnny Bananas was the first one to be off the show, he was not happy about it. Like, he didn't even hold back. So you're not allowed to go on social media. You're not allowed. Like, you probably couldn't even go on your radio show. You couldn't let anybody know that you're home.

[Tamara Judge]

You're so disappointed, you're ashamed, you're embarrassed. And then you have to bring it home and hide it for another three weeks. And you can't be on social media. You can't go on your radio. So you slither back. Basically, like in Cloak and dagger, I got to say.

[Dorinda Medley]

And I'm like, I had to do the same thing. I couldn't do my podcast. I couldn't do anything. So when you came back and you were rightfully pissed off that you were left out there. You were hungry, you brought it back, and you were very vocal. I was like, no, don't do it, because they were gonna think one of the people on the raft were a traitor. And then if you get too vocal, the whole thing, like, the first part of the show, you have to tread lightly on what you say and what you do, because then you just get fingers pointed, and.

[Tamara Judge]

Oh, and I did the whole time, what did I say? I'm angry, hungry, and cold. And what that doesn't make up is a smiley face.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah. Do you regret any of it? Like, are you, like, should I have handled this differently?

[Tamara Judge]

I think you can do that. You know, you're so in it. Of course you. I'm. I'm a regretter. I regret every day of my life. What I said to someone last night at dinner, like, said that. What if you're mad at me, I.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Am like that, too. Such an overthinker.

[Tamara Judge]

Why aren't they picking up their taxes? That's how I live my life. Okay.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Why did I see the three dots and then the three dots went away?

[Tamara Judge]

So. Because I'm a big worry war. You know, I. I was very sad to go. This. This is the dilemma. And Tam, where you could speak this, obviously, yes. I should have been more quiet. Right. But then. Is that me?

[Dorinda Medley]

No, but it's all playing a Game. And we're not gamers, we're housewives.

[Tamara Judge]

Like, would you ever go back?

[Dorinda Medley]

Maybe for the right amount of money. But it was, I'm not a gamer and it was really hard and I thought that, you know, oh, I'm a housewife. You know, we think 10 steps ahead when we say things. It's, it does not compare.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

You think you're thinks 10 steps ahead.

[Dorinda Medley]

I, I try to. When you compared to the gamers. No, it doesn't even compete.

[Tamara Judge]

I don't think it was one particular thing. I think that the housewives, I think they, the gamers are very smart. I, I think. But I could be wrong. I think a lot of it has to do with being such a strong character personality.

[Dorinda Medley]

Yes, yes.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

And, and you would have been an obvious choice.

[Tamara Judge]

I got it wrong on Watch Rap is live for a run. It's not Survivors, it's Survivor. I never watched any of those Survivor games.

[Dorinda Medley]

Me either. I didn't know who anybody was from the game.

[Tamara Judge]

So that was, and they, they, they approach everything very differently.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

And I mean Wells said something too, which really resonated with us. He was like the difference between housewives. And like, he's like me, for example. He's like, when we weren't filming and we had downtime, he's like, I would just be quiet. I would just sit there. He's like, but the housewives are so used to being on all the time. They like never slow down. We're like, quit wasting this good material.

[Tamara Judge]

Well, because you have no other outlets at that point. You have no phone, no tv, no news, no anything.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

So that's what else.

I mean I was, I was so desperate. I don't know if they, they gave us a little goodie bag when we arrived in our hotel room and it had like a little alligator or something in it. I felt like I was Tom Hanks with his volleyball Wilson, like talking to it because you have no phone. TVs limited. It's like, hi. You know, it's a mind game for, I mean it screws with your head.

It's like it's a running joke in our house. Like go to the movies. No mom will fall asleep.

So like tonight, Tonight I'm not going out. So I'll like wake. I'll catch up on everything tonight. The only thing I watch religiously. It's my great thing to do is like. Because I wake up about 5:30 and I get my coffee and I watch whatever housewife show was on the night before. Oh.

Oh, yeah.

It's my morning thing. I love watching it. Like, I get excited.

What's your favorite franchise?

I watch the New York finale.

Oh my God. Can we talk about that? We just recapped it. We're in disbelief. It was such a dark episode.

Why weren't you on the dating. The new Bravo dating show that, like, two of the girls from Potomac went on. Shannon went on. Did they ask you to do that?

I thought Luann was a great choice. I don't. Oh.

I don't think of Shannon as a big dater. It's funny. I found that an unusual choice. I don't think I'd be good.

Is what I heard. And then somebody fell out and they added her.

You know, I. I don't think people think of me as a big dater. And, you know, Luann's so great at it. And Luann's such a great dater, and she's like.

But I don't think the show's really about dating. It's about entertainment.

They should have done. Yeah. It would have been very well together.

Yeah, there you go. Now, recently, you had said, I. I saw it on Instagram, that you think that they should have named the house Real Housewives. Roni. They should have named it something else with the recast, with the reboot.

No, I just think it would have given them, I think, a better chance. Yes. Because there's too much comparison, you know, and. And there's also these things. I like them better. Well, it's not about that. They decided to stop one completely.

[Dorinda Medley]

Yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

And start fresh. But I think by doing this sort of. So this clean wipe, and I think it very surprised people. Right.

[Dorinda Medley]

Yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

Introduce these girls that were just so different. And as I said on Alex Baskin's thing, you know, they are sort of the young New York, but it was too much here.

[Dorinda Medley]

But it's constantly being compared.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah. Here's season 13. People we've grown up with nostalgia. People we know, people we've watched. Ta da. New girls. Yeah. It named It. The girlfriends of New York. Because I don't. I know they get a lot of grief. We hate it. We this, we that. I don't. I think they would have gotten a better chance. The cr. As I say, I've said it in every. The crown was too heavy. Yeah.

[Dorinda Medley]

Do you remember. Do you remember Ladies of London?

[Tamara Judge]

Yes.

[Dorinda Medley]

It was basically a housewife show.

[Tamara Judge]

Yes.

[Dorinda Medley]

But it was named something different. They could have done something like that.

[Tamara Judge]

They'd done Girlfriends of New York or Ladies of New York or something catchy. Then it could have. You know, I think it just also, too. There's something. There's something about it. There may have even been an easier way to integrate it. Integrate us a little bit.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Because then you could have just the old ones.

[Tamara Judge]

No, no, because these are the new ones. You know, they don't. You know. So.

[Dorinda Medley]

Yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

That's what's hard for them now.

I know you weren't there in Traders.

[Tamara Judge]

I gotta tell you something. I know a bunch of them. They're nice girls. It's just.

They're all lovely.

Totally different ball game.

Do you think it's because none of them are actually really friends?

[Tamara Judge]

Well, I think that's the key to the show. I mean, I think that's why OC does so well. New York does so well. I think that's why, you know, Jersey did well. It didn't do so well at the end of it.

[Dorinda Medley]

It did until it did it.

[Tamara Judge]

Beverly Hills, you can feel that friendship. And Salt Lake City, to me, is like old New York.

[Dorinda Medley]

But we're starting to see a crack.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Is so, so good.

[Dorinda Medley]

But we're starting to see a little bit of a crack in Beverly Hills. I feel like not everybody's friends on that show anymore. The cast has turned over so much that it's starting to have. It's missing something and it's the friendship.

[Tamara Judge]

When they start to bring people and bring people out, Bring people and bring people out, that's when it feels like it. It loses its authenticity.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Because then you don't get connected to anybody, and then they're not really connected.

[Tamara Judge]

You need to be able to go. I always say the thing about. When you have people that really know each other, even though it's still awkward and still terrible and still hurtful, but you can go deeper with them and choose and they're. They're, you know, up to a point, it's recoverable because you're. You know each other so well outside of it. So you can unravel. Little bit offseason. Right. Right. But a lot of these people, I feel like they don't even see each other offseason, right?

[Dorinda Medley]

No, Jenna just. Jenna was on Watch what happens Live last night and she said that they have. None of them have talked to Bren since the reunion.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah, it's going to be hard. It's going to be a hard road for that.

[Tamara Judge]

That could be the kids death. You know what I thought was interesting too, Tamara and I don't know what it's like if they did this on your guys shows and we never had productions hanging around like that on the couch, just sitting around, all just hanging out.

[Dorinda Medley]

No, no, no.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

We didn't either.

[Dorinda Medley]

We did not.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

We like, we.

[Tamara Judge]

It felt really like MTV Real World. It did.

[Dorinda Medley]

It felt different.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

We didn't have that. I mean, yes, I could like go outside and like talk to producer and like vent or I could do that. But like, we were never just like. Unless it was like we were flying somewhere and we weren't Mike.

[Tamara Judge]

But then, even then you're friendly and they're helpful. But that was like when Rin was sitting on the couch and they lounging all around the production. I was like, ew. I don't know.

[Dorinda Medley]

Was that. Let me ask you a question. Was that some of the production crew that you worked with? Did you notice any. Recognize anybody?

[Tamara Judge]

A couple people, yes, but we just. Not even that it was ew. I just felt like. I felt like there was sort of like a. Yeah, well, do you think that was. They did that in order when they left at night? Like when we stopped filming, they left.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Unless they thought more drama would come, then they'd leave one person with the.

[Dorinda Medley]

I don't know, given the situation and Bren's headspace, maybe they were trying. Trying to comfort her. I'm not sure, but no, I think.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

They were trying to show that she was pretending absolutely nothing happened the night before.

[Dorinda Medley]

Yeah, that's true. You're right about that. That's what they were doing.

[Tamara Judge]

That was that. I. I agree with Jenna. That was heartbreaking because that to me read of someone that really didn't know.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

How to handle it, process the emotions.

[Dorinda Medley]

Do you think that Bren was lying about telling UBA did this is where.

[Tamara Judge]

I have a problem. That is there's certain buzzwords, there's certain heavy, heavy words you can whisper and it lands and we know the words. So you. There's no casual way to say R A P E in any way, shape or form without it. That's not something I personally would ever pass over. And if and if she. I just don't. It was a very intelligent, like, you know what I'm saying?

[Dorinda Medley]

She would have remembered that, right?

[Tamara Judge]

She would have remembered such a big word, right?

[Dorinda Medley]

Yeah, it's just a word that you would remember. And I think Uba definitely, you could tell by her reaction that she's like, you never told me this ever. I wouldn't.

[Tamara Judge]

You know, if she did know about it, she would have been following up. Because UBA is a girl's girl.

[Dorinda Medley]

Yeah. Yeah. She's very passionate.

[Tamara Judge]

Anyone would like. If you. Someone told me something like that, the first thing you would be is like, oh, my God, are you getting help? What can I do? Yeah, it just. I. I don't. I felt. Yeah, it was really hard to watch that.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

It was really hard. And before we have to wrap up, is there any other juicy nuggets you want to leave us with? Things we should. I mean, everybody should listen to your radio show for one.

[Tamara Judge]

Well, thank you. Well, I have to say, I've never. I never thought I'd get so much fame from getting murdered first. So that, that was a negative that.

[Dorinda Medley]

Turned into a. I've seen you everywhere. You were on the Jimmy Fallon show, weren't you?

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah, I. Yes. Y other day. I worried about it for six months. I held the secret. I was. I'm like. And of course I'm like, oh, everyone's gonna think, you loser. Yeah, you know, you this, you that. Now I gotta go through that. I was so uptight about it. And then it came and they're like, do you want to be on the tonight's show? I'm like, wow.

[Dorinda Medley]

Because everybody disagreed with it.

[Arturo Castro]

Yeah.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

But also, I think it. It would have been more. It would have even been a better show if you were on longer because.

[Tamara Judge]

I, I have a feeling I really did. You know what? It. If nothing else, I'm good content. I. You know, you may not have got out some more mugs and T shirts somehow.

[Dorinda Medley]

Yeah.

[Teddy Mellencamp]
