Uh oh, I knew. I knew I shouldn't have shared that story. I knew it was just going to spiral. Listen, I always say I'm a fan before I'm famous. Like, I am such a reality fan. And we have the Same production company, 32 flavors. So I automatically, on top of being Bravo family, I was like, oh, you know, our production company. And I was just like, she was so refreshing to the cast because she's the table shaker. She's the one you didn't see coming. The attitude you were not expecting, the prissiness, the bourgeoisie, the pretentiousness, that emasculating. I was like, wow, she's great for tv. You know, I'm so excited to see her. I was like, outside having a, you know, little J with my girlfriends Tannen and Natasha. We're still upstairs in the hotel suite. We were getting ready to go to watch what happens live. And she comes out the doors and I'm just so smitten. And I'm like, hi, Amanda. And it was.

[Tannen]

It was.

It was a borderline snarl. Like, it was like that. Like she looked me heavily up and down. And my girlfriends that were there with me, they're New Yorkers, so they're used to seeing, you know, eye rolls and stuff, but they felt so bad for me that they turned around and they started changing the subject. And I was like, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Did you guys just see that? And they were like, girl, it was just bizarre. I was like, hi. And she. I knew she didn't know who I was by this, but still, I get.

[Dolores Catania]

Not everybody has to watch all the shows, but if you're going on watch what happens live with somebody. Normally you can do a quick little Google search. I can manifest that myself out of respect.

[Gigi]

Gigi and Tannen. And, you know, I always do a little. No matter where I'm going, I like to ask who's going to be there. So at least I'm a little familiar with who they are. You can't always do it, but this one's doing watch what happens live with you. Wait. So I was so excited about how things went down. You don't even know. I'm sorry. I knew it was coming as soon as I knew, like, if I was there. I think your friends, when they tried to defute, they probably tried to, like, save Her. And instead of make you not feel bad because they knew what was coming after that.

I mean, listen, at the end of the day, you guys are housewives. You guys come along with a very different caliber of protection in the Bravo space. And I learned my lesson the hard way ages ago. Before Bravo Con existed, we had the NBC up front, and the Countess was sitting next to me. And

I like her now, but she

used my entire body as a crutch to plop herself up. I smashed downwards. And I was a little bit of a drinker in those days, so when she came back to her seat, my arm just kind of kept flying her way. She couldn't she know it. And I got in trouble.

[Gigi]

Oh, no, listen, I. I don't think you should have gotten in trouble at all. I think Luann's gotten in a lot more trouble than you since then, for sure.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah, listen, at the end of the day, I was more appalled that she would treat a fan that way. I got who I was, but why treat a fan with that much excitement? You're there to impress. You're here because of your fans.

[Gigi]

100%. Gigi. Well, it speaks volumes about the character, but I never want anyone to have a bad experience meeting me because you can crush someone. You for sure were not crushed, but annoyed maybe, but another girl maybe, like, you know, getting excited to see her, and she gives it that. That sucks. That just sucks.

[Dolores Catania]

Do you think it's an act? Like she just tries to act like she's too good for everything?

[Tannen]

No.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I could genuinely see that she had absolutely no idea, because when she came into our dressing room at Watch what Happens Live, she came behind Andy with her tail between her legs. Right, Tannen? I mean, it was just her tail between her legs. She was just like. And Andy's like, this is Amanda. I know. Don't care.

[Gigi]

Guess what?

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Too late. And then if you see. If you guys watch, Watch what Happens Live, there's this part where I was giving Amanda a compliment and I was like. I actually like that you stood up for yourself. And she goes, thank you. And I waited a minute and I turned around and I go, you're welcome. That was my payback.

It was so good. It was so good. So let's get into the Valley Persian style a little bit. Tannen, did you watch OG Shahs?

[Tannen]

You know what? Not all of it, but definitely I've known her when she was doing it, and I've been somewhat a part of it. But I remember before we started filming, I was like, let me just go Ahead and watch all of it. And then I immediately stopped because I kind of freaked out a little bit, and I was like, maybe it's better I don't fully watch everything.

[Gigi]

No, I. I agree with that. No, that's not a bad thing. But you did good. You were great this year.

[Tannen]

Well, now that the season's over, I can say, I think that, Tannen, you've been a good friend to someone who's hard to be friends with.

And that says a lot. And I had to see, you know, I speak. This is not new to me, but kind of new to me. So I want to take all the criticism I can, but I have to speak on what I see and how I feel on each one. Right. But I will say that I think sky has a very hard personality to be around, and I think that you really were good to her for a long time. I don't think she has a lot of people close to her for that reason.

[Tannen]

Yeah, I mean, I think that's probably one of the reasons I still wanted to welcome her even more because I feel like sometimes people have a hard shell and hopefully, like, the heart is always good and you can bring it out, and I don't think it worked out for this friendship.

That's okay, though. Listen, you'll find you. You'll thought you'll meet your friends on this road. That's for sure.

You figure out who your real friends are.

For sure.

Did you had she treated you like that before ever when you guys were hanging out?

You know, I would say that I was like one out of a lot of people that would still try. Yes, unfortunately, that or for. I mean, that is. That is who she is. Yeah, that is who she is. I had a lot of red flags, but I feel like when you. When. When the cameras went up, I saw it differently. And I don't know why reality TV makes things so much. You really see the bigger picture, and you really are like, why. Why am I doing this? Like, why would I deal with someone that does this repeatedly, you know, and is. I'm like, why am I supporting and doing all the things going out of my way and you can't even meet me. I'm not asking for halfway. Like 20% would have been good enough for me, honestly. And we couldn't even do that. So I think the past maybe year and a half before we filmed, I had really seen the red flags and I was actually seeing it. And then when we start filming, I was like, girl, this is, this ain't it for me anymore. Like, this is. I can't do this anymore. This is, this is wild.

I was always so open to it and to be really honest, maybe because I don't see it to be a negative thing. So I know I was very open about it. I had no idea she was. I found out at that Lunch. She told me.

Yeah.

See, I want to say, in my experience, I'm not talking about Sky. I never met her in person. I'm only talking people in my life that were like this, who I always stood for, and they didn't get along with anyone, and they were always complaining, and they were always the victim. Guess what happened to those friends who I stood by for 20 years at a time, been through the trenches. They turn on me in the end. They had those people that are like, this relationship in the end. Stabbed me in the back. You go crazy when you think that you were there for somebody when no one else wanted anything to do with them.

And then they stop you. They take anything you shared with them, friends, when you were friends. At that moment, they try to hurt you with that. Am I wrong?

[Tannen]

No. 100%.

I happen to know this kind of animal. So that's why I'm saying, yeah.

Lucky for me, I've never met anyone like this ever. So thank God. Even my. Even my 20s, 30s, I was never. I never felt backstab like this. And by the way, when I bring up supporting air. I hate saying that because friends support each other and we don't. If we mention it, then it's not support. But I feel like when you're so ungrateful and you keep. I'm a victim and you keep bringing up, like, none of anything, anybody else's thing is right. And you can't take accountability, then makes you want to say things a lot more. You're like, girl, like, what about all of these things? Like, how can you not just, like, put it all together and be like, let me put my ego and pride as I take a little bit of accountability and say, I'm just sorry. Like, just. It's.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

It's just.

Well, because then people like that never evolve.

Yeah.

We'll never be anything than what you never say. I was wrong. Okay.

I text her at like 4:00am, 5:00am literally, like, oh, like, I've been through this. I know what it feels like. And to get up and run from a trip that we're at, I know that your mind starts going in a million directions. I'm talk. I'm sure they're talking about me. I'm sure this. I'm sure that. So I was like, you know, let me empathize a little bit. Let me tell her, I know this is difficult, but, you know, you have to take a little accountability. You can't come so hard. She tried to put on this whole schmeal that she's not coming to the main title shooting for this and that because it's at Tannen's house. Because Tannen has a gorgeous view of the entire valley, which jealousy, I think, like, everyone needs to go film at her house. That's how scenic it is, right? So it makes sense. We're on in the valley. We're showing the Valley. She's like, no, I'm not doing it. They can't separate. They can't film something separate that, you know, it's like, who are you? Who do you think you are to come in? And so I did it again. I sent the email and I said, look, you know, it's going to be great. I started even talking shit about the other friends just to get her to feel like, okay, like, come on.

And she doubled, tripled, quadrupled down. She was talking so much shit.

I don't think being in public is for her in general without doing some therapy. I mean, a woman needs some. Some sort of therapy. It doesn't make sense to me why she's so angry with everyone.

She's very. Well, I said that in the last podcast. I said, she's so angry. She's so mad. What is she holding on to? Let it go. It's an anchor in your life. You will never move forward in your life.

Well, we know what, Dolores. These are things that we have all come to the light, that we now understand why she was using this image, this erawan facade for so long. And it all kind of adds up. I'm not here to out anybody's life. I'm not here to business, to that. I'm more. You come for me and I'm going to take care of you. That's my personality. But there has been a lot that makes sense as to why she needs to have so much.

That's like harsh, you know? So it's like with a. Are you doing. What are you saying? Like, come on, you're supposed to be hyping. Me up.

But clearly she knew how important it was to you and she decided to go the other way. And that's. That shows you what kind of friend she is.

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I feel like this is the one question I'm getting a lot. Or maybe because I'm getting sensitive about the concept. I'm hearing it a lot. I don't know where in Los Angeles someone's supposed to go to meet someone. Like, let me know, can we do it together? Can we figure it out together? You know, I'm hearing the apps or something, so I got an iPad and I joined the Raya app. But I got waitlisted. I'm not even. I didn't get in. I didn't get any either.

I. I got refused. I didn't even get waitlisted when I tried to join. When I was single, Tannet, I. I mean, it just like, was like. I don't even remember what it said, but it was like, please don't bother coming back. It was like, okay.

I was telling Tannen, you know, because she's been heavy in the tech space and hospitality and I love, you know, men. So I was saying, men, we need to create a dating app situation for people out there, like the me's and the teddies and. Well, Dolo, you're taking.

I'm engaged now, but I've been divorced for 27 years.

When I, you know, I raised my kids by myself. I never met somebody decent enough to do that with. So. Yeah, it's not easy.

It's not. It's really not easy. And I think being a single parent, I think a lot of men get a little scared by that. They probably think, you know, I want them to turn into a father. So it's a little bit.

I don't know.

I don't know how to date. I like smart, intelligent men. Louisiana. Doesn't have a lot of those. You know,

What's happening with Greg?

[Tannen]

Greg is good. Honestly, I think this. The whole filming did help us work on things that we wouldn't usually completely ignore. I think our biggest problem with communication and still will be, by the way. I'm not saying we are.

I think that's everyone's problem, by the way.

[Tannen]

Exactly. And I think, you know, it's. I'm not saying we're like the best communicators, but as far as. Are we doing so much better? Yes. And that's all you can ask from a man. So as long as they're working on it and willing to change and you can have the conversation. We couldn't even do that before. We wouldn't even really talk. So I feel like things have really changed for the better, at least. Knock on wood. For now.

I appreciate your honesty and transparency, all of you. Something I. And I will tell you, when this show came back, I used to watch jazz a long time ago. Even when I didn't watch tv. I watched Shah's. My mom was a big fan of Reza. I loved you, Gigi. I loved mj. I mean, you guys are my heart. I don't know why I feel like I relate to all of you. You know, you're tough, you love hard, you're honest, you're very transparent. So I just. I appreciate you putting it out there. You've done.

She's rather optimistic, and I think that she already feels the layers of weight, you know, lifting day by day. She's more radiant now. She's lighter. So I think, you know, it's the process. It's never pretty when there's a child involved, it's never pretty. So. But I think she's doing really well.

Yeah, there's like a grieving process. Sometimes you feel like you're like, yeah, I'm doing great. And then sometimes you're like, I feel so lonely. I am so, like, heartbroken right now.

[Gigi]

Yeah.

[Dolores Catania]

So it really depends. I.

[Tannen]

When I talk to her, to your point, I don't know if she's gone through the grieving process was fully. Because she's been so busy figuring it all out and, like, just like moving out and her kids and everything, and she has had no me time. I was telling her, I was like, listen, go cry it out one day. It's okay to feel like what you went through for enough. It's just been like one thing after another. And she's so busy. She's like, I don't even get to go get my nails done. So I think that that's what her next step is. I just had dinner with her last week. She's. She's killing it, though. I mean, as, as. As far as what she's gone through, I think she's really in it. She's going to be in a really good place. I think she just needs to, you know, grieve and, you know, go through that emotional part of it, too, versus, like, blocking it, which is what I would usually do and, you know, get.

[Dolores Catania]

Feel better do you think we'll ever see Tommy again on our. On our screens?

I think you will.

You think we're gonna see him film next year?

And the way that you and Greg talked about it as well, like, it made me cry.

It's not exact same thing, but what you're going through is harder because it's a. It's a longer recovery. But I just want to say I'm sending you all the love and strength. I know what it's like to go through something like that, and, you know, it gives you such a different perspective on life and people and your surroundings. But I know what you're going through. I know it's so hard, but I will say your mental strength will get you through so much. I remember when my dad was going through chemo, how he handled it, and then it kind of transferred to me on how I handled it. And I know how hard it is for you, so I'm thinking of you sending you all the love and strength and hopefully everything will be amazing and a smooth recovery.
