Two T's in a pod with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamara Judge.
Lisa Rinna
Hi, guys.
Teddi Mellencamp
Welcome to another episode of the Twat Seat. We are so, so excited to have Lisa Rinna joining us today.
Tamara Judge
I know.
Lisa Rinna
Oh my God, we have so much to talk about. I mean, we're gonna Start with traitors
Teddi Mellencamp
for sure, because we have to. What was your line as you were leaving?
Tamara Judge
I said, I'm the most iconic, legendary traitor.
Lisa Rinna
Did you? Before you went up there? Cause when I did traitors way back when, I was like, if I get banished, like, who. What's my speech? What do I say?
Tamara Judge
Well, when you're sitting in the hot seat, because you know what? You know, when you're going, I think I knew. When I knew I was going, I got murdered.
Lisa Rinna
And I knew I was murdered.
Tamara Judge
Oh, you did?
Lisa Rinna
Yeah, because there's a certain room in
Tamara Judge
that castle, and you have to go in it.
Lisa Rinna
You have to go in it. I know when they called me, they're like, hey, Tamara, come. I'm like, I turn around, I go, I'm murdered. And if I'm murdered, it's Dan.
Tamara Judge
So you did, like, a jam. Jam, yes. As you were leaving, but there was
Lisa Rinna
no cameras on me.
Tamara Judge
Oh, shoot.
Lisa Rinna
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
Oh, well, you know it. And you start to think, oh, my God, I gotta think of something. Oh, you're sick.
Lisa Rinna
Your exit speech.
Tamara Judge
Yes, the exit speech. So as I'm sitting there, I'm thinking, okay, what am I gonna say? What am I gonna say? And then you just come up with it.
Teddi Mellencamp
And were you annoyed at anyone at this point?
Tamara Judge
Well, I was annoyed with Rob.
Lisa Rinna
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, I was for sure annoyed with
Teddi Mellencamp
Rob, because it doesn't seem like you guys ever give Rob the business when you guys are in the turret.
Tamara Judge
We were Kumbaya. Team trader.
Lisa Rinna
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
You know, we were family. Traitor.
Lisa Rinna
And he was out to, like, murder all of you guys. Yeah.
Tamara Judge
We didn't know it, you know, that that's.
Lisa Rinna
Or get you banished, I should say.
Tamara Judge
That's when you just are like. I mean, I was more disappointed than anything because, you know, everyone is just so crazy about him.
Lisa Rinna
Well, historically, you're supposed to stick together as traitors. They want you to stick together until the very. Towards the very end. Cutthroat. Normally, like, they try to stick together.
Tamara Judge
I thought that was gonna be the way.
Lisa Rinna
But Rob was playing. He's playing for himself.
Tamara Judge
Well, and such a great game. I mean, I can't be mad about it because he's.
Teddi Mellencamp
Because he's hot.
Tamara Judge
Well, that, too. That doesn't hurt. But he's doing what you're supposed to do as a traitor. That's the thing.
Teddi Mellencamp
But what do you think makes him so good at it? That he's just chill, laid back, like, he wouldn't think it was him.
Tamara Judge
He's a game player, which, of course, I am not. So I think all of it helps,
Lisa Rinna
but he's very calculated. Very, very calculated. Like, not the kind of calculation you're playing checkers.
Tamara Judge
It's hard to be good looking.
Teddi Mellencamp
I mean, not many people can pull off.
Tamara Judge
What are these overalls with nothing underneath.
Teddi Mellencamp
Like, with snakes everywhere.
Tamara Judge
I mean, the first.
Teddi Mellencamp
Not even Rinna could pull off the.
Tamara Judge
No, I can't pull that off. Harry Hamlin could have, you know, back in the day, he could have pulled that off the very first night. You know, when you get there and you see everybody for the first time, I noticed Rob right out of the gate because I kind of knew of everyone else there, but I'd never seen him before, and he was very aloof, and he was sitting back just watching everyone, and I clocked it and I thought, I need to go and find out what he's about. You know, he kind of has Harry energy where he sits back and watches and he's quiet, a little mysterious.
Lisa Rinna
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
And so I went right up and started, you know, asking him questions and, you know, being silly Lisa Rinna with him. And so I felt like I had a connection with him right out of the gate.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
But, yeah, he played a great game.
Teddi Mellencamp
Do you think it was shocking that they had two housewives betrayed her?
Tamara Judge
Yeah, that's why I screamed so loud when Candace. When we take our hoods off. I couldn't believe it.
Teddi Mellencamp
I couldn't believe it.
Lisa Rinna
I would have loved to see all, like, three housewives.
Tamara Judge
Wouldn't that have been amazing?
Lisa Rinna
Because nobody's gonna say, like, oh, they have three in there. They're like, maybe one. Like, they always. They kind of balance it out. But no, they had two.
Tamara Judge
It was so great.
Lisa Rinna
I was like, yes, yes. Yeah.
Tamara Judge
And, you know, Candice and I sort of had a similar leaving of the shows and Bravo and kind of what happened to us. And so I had this instant kind of connection to her because I know that she'd gone through something, you know, very similar to me. So I was instantly like, Candace.
Lisa Rinna
Yeah. When you approached me on Traders, was there, like, any hesitation whatsoever? You're like, let's do this.
Tamara Judge
Oh, no. I've said no a couple times. And I was like, you know, let me watch it. And so then I watched it and I loved it.
Teddi Mellencamp
What season did you watch?
Tamara Judge
I watched your season and two and then three.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
And then I said, you know, I like to watch it more than I think I want to do it. And so I really didn't give them an answer until, see September, February. Yeah. I really thought about It. I asked everybody and you know who convinced me to do it? Our little neighbor down the street, Cindy Bodko. Cindy Botko, who's Robin Fujimoto's daughter. She is the hugest Traders fan. And I said, can I come down and you just tell me like, if I should do it and why I should do it? And so I did. I had a glass of wine and she said, lisa, it's the game mafia. And I was like, I play mafia in Canada all the time. She goes, you'd be so great at it. And she literally talked me into it.
Lisa Rinna
But it's a huge commitment. You could be up. You can be in Scotland for 30 days. You don't really have your phone.
Tamara Judge
No. You have no file, no phone. You take it, they take it away.
Lisa Rinna
It's like being in jail.
Tamara Judge
It's like jail slash Swedish rehab. That's what I've decided. Because literally, I think the phone was great. I loved them taking the phone.
Lisa Rinna
Really?
Tamara Judge
Yeah. Taking my pills was a problem. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I did not like that. I mean, if you get sick in that castle, you are.
Teddi Mellencamp
How cold is it in that castle? Cuz a lot of people are barely wearing any clothes.
Tamara Judge
I didn't notice it.
Lisa Rinna
It was cold. I was there. I think I was like, I don't remember, but it was cold. It was cold.
Teddi Mellencamp
Did you think you were gonna be selected as a trader?
Tamara Judge
I mean, I didn't know. You know, it's always a 50, 50 thing. I wanted to be a trader. I thought, if I'm gonna do this, I better get the most camera time I can. Otherwise, you know, what, what's the point? So I did tell Alan that I wanted to be a trader. But as he walks around, you know, he walks around like seven times.
Lisa Rinna
Yeah, he walks and walks and walks.
Tamara Judge
And you're just sitting there with your blindfold and your heart is pounding out of your chest.
Lisa Rinna
And then when he walks by and he doesn't tap you on the shoulder, you're like, ugh.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. And you're just kind of like, okay. And so I thought for sure I was going to be a faithful. Because seven times around I'm like, I'm not being tight.
Lisa Rinna
Would you have played the game different if you were a faithful?
Tamara Judge
Probably, yeah. I think you have to. I don't know. Because I wasn't a faithful. I was a traitor. But maybe, I don't know, it's hard. I mean, I had no strategy. I went in thinking, if I can just wear that dress for the banquet, because I knew we knew that there was a banquet somewhere down the line. That's all I wanted.
Lisa Rinna
Now, did they supply you with those outfits or did you have to?
Narrator (6th Bureau Podcast)
You had to.
Tamara Judge
Oh, no, they sent like a memo of, you know, this is coming up. You have to bring like a mood board. Yeah, a mood board. All 11 outfits. You have to do them all. And then we found this dress because I love this designer. Eric, Charlotte. And I thought, oh, my God, this is perfect. It was perfect. So I got to wear this dress.
Lisa Rinna
It was great. You were the best dress.
Teddi Mellencamp
Thank you.
Lisa Rinna
You were the best. It was fun.
Teddi Mellencamp
Who were you closest with?
Tamara Judge
I really got close with everybody. It's so weird because, you know, I certainly don't get along with everybody like on Housewives. Right. So I was really surprised at how I really got along with everybody. But that was part of my strategy, if I had any, was to just get to know everyone and get everyone to try to like me, you know, And I loved everyone. I mean, I ended up being really close to Mara, Tara, Candice, I mean, Rob, Ron, Mark, Stephen, everybody.
Lisa Rinna
Johnny, are you shocked that Mara's still on the show?
Tamara Judge
I'm not, because, you know, she'll say a lot. The quiet ones go the furthest. I've always said that they go the furthest.
Lisa Rinna
But then the show gets boring.
Tamara Judge
I know, but that's how you win.
Lisa Rinna
But now that the Bravo people are gone, it's kind of like.
Teddi Mellencamp
But also the guy that got brought in by Rob, he's not doing Eric. He's not doing a great job.
Lisa Rinna
I kind of love him.
Tamara Judge
I love Eric, but he's made it obvious that he's. Come on. I was like, Eric, you change so instantly. When you became a traitor, you shut your mouth. And how they're not so nervous.
Teddi Mellencamp

Lisa Rinna
Is there anybody you absolutely couldn't stand on the show? No.
Teddi Mellencamp
There had to have been someone.
Tamara Judge
No one other than Colton, right? I mean, Colton and I were Nemesis, definitely. Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
But he was fun to play with.
Tamara Judge
I mean, he pissed me off and, you know, he was like, on me too much.
Narrator (Mind Games Podcast)
But you know what?
Tamara Judge
But it's a game. So that's what always saved me. I'm like, it's a game.
Lisa Rinna
It's a game. It's a game I loved more than anything. When you looked at Carolyn and you go, go back to Dubai.
Tamara Judge
How great was that?
Lisa Rinna
Oh, my God. I'm like, oh, my God. That was good.
Tamara Judge
I knew exactly what I was doing. I put my so pad on for that. Obviously, we knew. We.
Lisa Rinna
What exactly did you say to her?
Tamara Judge
I said, bye, bye, Caroline. Back to Dubai, you go. And then she goes. First she says, rennie, you bitch. And then I say, bye, bye, Caroline. Back to Dubai, you go. And then she goes, well, I guess I'll see you at BravoCon. And I go, no, you won't.
Narrator (6th Bureau Podcast)
You won't.
Lisa Rinna
That's right. That's right.
Tamara Judge
I thought they'd cut it. I didn't think they'd air it. And I'm so happy they did because I really did put my soap pad on for that. I knew exactly what I was doing.
Lisa Rinna
Oh, it was great.
Teddi Mellencamp
Was it fun?
Lisa Rinna
It was great.
Tamara Judge
Do you know how fun it is to kill a housewife?
Lisa Rinna
Yeah. I can only imagine this.
Tamara Judge
Oh, God, I loved every second of it.
Lisa Rinna
Who do you think should go on Traitors Next? Housewives?
Tamara Judge
I think Erica would be great. We talked about that.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, we talked about it yesterday.
Tamara Judge
I said Erica would be great. I haven't really thought about it. I think Luann would be funny. You know, just because Luann is such a character. Who do you think?
Lisa Rinna
I think that definitely Luann. I think Erica. I think Sonia would be funny. Daphne, not Jill. Zarin.
Teddi Mellencamp
I have to say, I don't feel like you guys eat that much while you're there. Cause everybody's always looking for the salmon.
Lisa Rinna
Baked beans. We had baked beans. Lots of baked beans.
Tamara Judge
We had no baked beans.
Lisa Rinna
Oh, you didn't? Oh, we had baked beans with everything.
Tamara Judge
No. Here's the problem. There's not enough protein and everyone is dying for protein to keep yourself going.
Teddi Mellencamp
Except for Rob. He's just popping down those eggs.
Tamara Judge
That's protein. So he's just getting the eggs or those little shots. There's little ginger shots.
Lisa Rinna
I loved those. There was never enough.
Tamara Judge
And I would always have to say, because you don't want to get sick. So you're like shooting these ginger shots. There's just never enough protein. So I don't eat salmon, you know, I don't like fish.
Lisa Rinna
I don't like either.
Tamara Judge
So all I could do is eat the damn hard boiled eggs in the morning.
Lisa Rinna
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
So what would you say in closing, your favorite part of doing the show?
Tamara Judge
Oh, I loved it so much. I think just having a reset in that world and meeting these people that I really got to connect to in a way that I would never have met them, probably out in the world in real life. It was so joyous. And I think because it was a game, I treated it as a game and it was fun. I had so much fun. So that is what I take away from it.
Lisa Rinna
And you were able to put some of your acting skills into it as well, right?
Tamara Judge
Well, I guess maybe a little bit.
Lisa Rinna
You did. I mean, that scene with Carolyn, like, I'm like, whoa.
Teddi Mellencamp
Okay.
Tamara Judge
It was so fun. Yeah, it was really, really fun.
Lisa Rinna
I felt like you, you could play a little bit part and be yourself. There was drama.
Tamara Judge
I loved it.
Lisa Rinna
It was a lot.
Tamara Judge
I just had so much fun. It was so good for me, I think, to do another kind of reality based series and enjoy it and have a great experience. I needed that.
Narrator (6th Bureau Podcast)
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
Because we need you on more reality shows.
Lisa Rinna
Well, what about just acting in general?
Tamara Judge
I want to act. Yeah. I mean, sure.
Lisa Rinna
Is there a show that you want to be on?
Tamara Judge
Oh, my God, there's so many. I mean, you know, White Lotus Dream? That'd be amazing. Anything Ryan Murphy does like, there's so many shows that I would love to do. I mean, I'm for hire. So call me.
Lisa Rinna
We need to see you on Landman. Have you watched that?
Tamara Judge
I would love to. I'd love to. I've got another really great character in me. I know. I do. Like a real baddie. Yeah, I do. Like a cuckoo. Like a Moira.
Teddi Mellencamp
Like a Melrose Place.
Tamara Judge
Like a Moira Rose. Yes. Like I have it in me. Ready to go. So call me.
Lisa Rinna
I think of Allie on Landman. Have you seen Landman? She does such a good part. I could see you doing something like that.
Tamara Judge
Great. So I'm ready. I have another one.
Lisa Rinna
Call her.
Tamara Judge
I'm there. I'm ready.
Teddi Mellencamp
Brenna has more than nine lives, so make sure you call her.
Lisa Rinna
Yeah.

Who do you think Rob should have picked if it wasn't Eric?
Tamara Judge
I think Eric was actually a good choice. I think so. I think Mark would have been an interesting choice. He was gonna pick a guy.
Lisa Rinna
He's quiet, too, because he seems like
Teddi Mellencamp
on his Instagram, he seems very outgoing.
Tamara Judge
He's so outgoing. And if you watch him on Dancing with Stars, I mean, he's really in it. And, you know, you find out these things. I've known Mark, you know, for a long time because of Dancing with the Stars, but he's a real gamer lover, so he's watched every episode of, like, you know, Survivor, Big Brother. Like, he knows those games.
Lisa Rinna
That's his passion.
Tamara Judge
Which, of course, I do not. I don't either. I'm just saying I didn't even know
Lisa Rinna
what the fuck I was doing when I was there.
Tamara Judge
Oh, I didn't either.
Teddi Mellencamp
Why did you give all your rocks to Steven? Yes.
Tamara Judge
Because I did not want to give them to Colton or Rob. And they don't say that. But the more you gave to the guys that like Colton or Rob, the chances are of them winning. And I was, like, mad at Colton. Rob had already voted for me the night before, and I was like, who can I give my rocks to other than those boys? And that's why Steven said, can I have your rocks, your gold? And I was like, sure.
Teddi Mellencamp
Who were you more mad at, Colton or Rob?
Tamara Judge
Colton. Colton's my nemesis. Colton Colton, you know, Rob, again, he played a great game. So there's part of me that just cannot be mad at him. I can't.
Lisa Rinna
No, you can't. With Rob and I, we don't know who won yet, but I. If I was a betting person, I would say Rob's probably going to win. I don't know. I mean, I don't know. I don't know. Like, I'm just thinking the way he's
Teddi Mellencamp
going to win, I think. You don't think everybody thinks he's a faithful.
Lisa Rinna
He, like, plays both sides so well. I would not want to date him. Well, that's the kind of guy you don't want to do.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, he's been playing games his entire life. I don't think he solely means by chess.
Lisa Rinna
He's a. Yeah, he's a player.
Tamara Judge
I get a call. I literally get a call from Delilah the first night it airs. She goes, mom, I want Rob. And I go, no, no, no. I told him that at the reunion. He's funny. I was like, no, she likes those Love Islanders. She's already dated.
Lisa Rinna
Maybe she should be on the show.
Teddi Mellencamp
Maybe she should date my brother, who I want to be on Love Island.
Tamara Judge
Oh, my God. I can't intersect. I can't intermix this. I can't do it. We can't do it, Teddi. We gotta keep it separate.
Teddi Mellencamp
Okay, fine, we do.
Tamara Judge
We just can't intermix now as we're
Lisa Rinna
talking about Colton right now. Yeah, there was some stuff that went on online you guys were kind of hashing out online.
Tamara Judge
You know, he wanted a housewife. Tamara and I put my housewife hat on for him.
Lisa Rinna
It was a good move.
Teddi Mellencamp
But you did it within seconds. It was like you went from like the Lisa Rinna that I go to dinner to, then all of a sudden, like the one who was asking me about, like, my placenta pills, wanting to fight with me.
Tamara Judge
It happened so fast for me. It's so ingrained in me. It's same with you. I know you can just press a button. You're like, boom.
Lisa Rinna
And you just, you poke me and I'm gonna poke you back twice as hard.
Tamara Judge
I swear to God.
Lisa Rinna
It's a talent.
Tamara Judge
I can't help it. It is a talent and I can't help it. And listen, I'm self aware enough to know, do I press this button or not?
Lisa Rinna
See, I'm not. I fucking press it.
Narrator (6th Bureau Podcast)
See?
Tamara Judge
But I choose to press it in the end. But I do question it. I go, okay, will this cause havoc? Yeah, probably. Should I do it? Well, maybe not.
Lisa Rinna
But I'm going to.
Tamara Judge
But I'm going to. And then I press it.
Lisa Rinna
That's what I do.
Tamara Judge
But that's what I do. So you can relate.
Teddi Mellencamp
So what happened with Colton? Because I've seen things online, like, clearly he had already been mad at Michael Rapoport for something.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, they're the ones that fought in the castle. Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
Nobody seemed to be tipsy the entire time.
Tamara Judge
No one's tipsy because you don't get enough alcohol. No.
Lisa Rinna
I think before you go into the roundtable, I mean, look at Dorinda.
Tamara Judge
She was completely sober.
Lisa Rinna
I know, right?
Teddi Mellencamp
I mean, it's the truth.
Tamara Judge
You're like, dorinda is fine. There is nothing in this bottle. I love you, Dorinda.
Lisa Rinna
Michael Rapoport at the roundtable had made a comment to Colton and social media went crazy.
Tamara Judge
It was a rough moment. In the moment, I will say I
Teddi Mellencamp
think he made that comment on purpose.
Lisa Rinna
Yeah, I don't think he did.
Teddi Mellencamp
I don't think it was like how you didn't know. Michael Rappaport knew exactly what he was saying and knew exactly what was gonna push Colton's buttons.
Jill Winterstein
I agree.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, I agree. I think. I don't believe that Michael Rappaport is homophobic. No, no, I don't believe. I don't believe that. I do think, though, that the question and the way he. The way he. It wasn't a question, but the way he said it. I understand what he was saying, but it was completely inappropriate to say that.
Lisa Rinna
Right. And that's the perfect way to say it.
Tamara Judge
And it really flipped everybody out because obviously we were sitting there with gay people and people that have gay relatives and, you know, it really set the entire group off. So Colton got a lot of sympathy in that moment. Colton was probably gonna go in that moment and that.
Lisa Rinna
That changed.
Teddi Mellencamp
That saved him.
Tamara Judge
It did.
Lisa Rinna
It did.
Teddi Mellencamp
Did you kind of create a bond with anybody that leads you past the traitors like that you would continue being friends with?
Tamara Judge
I have a whole. All of them. Like, I'm in contact with everybody. I love this group of people. I've had dinner with them. I go out with them. Yeah. Who's your favorite housewife in the world?
Teddi Mellencamp
No.
Tamara Judge
Oh, there.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
Oh, Dorinda and Candace. Dorinda and Candace.
Narrator (6th Bureau Podcast)
They're great.
Tamara Judge
I freaking.
Teddi Mellencamp
Because they're not showing much of Dorinda being her Dorinda side.
Tamara Judge
I know she's not her Dorinda. Was she herself in there a lot? I mean, she is.
Lisa Rinna
She probably had PTSD about getting killed the first day.
Tamara Judge
She wasn't drinking a lot because you don't get alcohol. So she was clear. And I just. I adore her. I never really knew Dorinda and I definitely connected to Dorinda and to Candace. Those were my two that I really, you know, I didn't know Portia. I'd never met her.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
And I knew Caroline from London like 10 years ago. Is there any others? No, that was it.
Teddi Mellencamp
That was it. Did you watch back? Like, are you watching still? Oh, yeah.
Lisa Rinna
How is your relationship with Andy?
Tamara Judge
It's fine.
Lisa Rinna
It's good.
Tamara Judge
It's good. I mean, it goes up and down, you know, depending on whether I piss him off or he pisses me off. I'm sure you can understand and relate.
Lisa Rinna
I do.
Tamara Judge
But right now, really good. I think, you know, I talk about him in my book. Obviously. I'm gonna go on and watch what happens live for the first time in four years.
Lisa Rinna
Okay, that's.
Teddi Mellencamp
I think this is good time for a break. We're gonna take a quick break and then we're gonna have another episode where we discuss all things Lisa Rinna's books and housewives. Housewives of it all. We'll be back for part two in just a sec.
