Welcome to another episode of two T's in a Pod with myself, Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge. We are going to be doing some host chat. Then we are gonna, you know, get to all of the questions that the fans asked and then we're gonna be announcing the Twaddy Award nominations. Can't wait.

[Tamara Judge]

So Teddi I the number one Question that was asked is, how do you have a health update? And how are you feeling about your dad going on Joe Rogan? And I think it was Good Morning America, and he really caused a stroke because everybody thought, oh, my God. What is going on with you?

[Teddy Mellencamp]

You know, I think when he said the word suffering, he meant, like, how I'm mentally doing versus how I'm physically doing.

[Tamara Judge]

Okay. Instantly, people thought, oh, my God, cancer's back. What's going on?

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah, it's coming together, but, no, there's still no trace of cancer, but I'm still considered stage four, and I'm still in immunotherapy. So essentially, nothing's changed other than I still feel great. I really, like, I would hope that I would be feeling better by now, but I really don't.

[Tamara Judge]

Do you? I would imagine just being on medication and doing immunotherapy, it's got to take a toll on your body.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I think it takes a toll on my body. And I think that I also didn't properly process all of the things that happened when I had surgery, like, from my divorce to all of a sudden being in emergency surgery to, you know, not being able to see my kids when I was recovering. I think all of those things are starting to finally hit me now. I started doing therapy, and so it's. It's taken its toll on me.

[Tamara Judge]

It's been almost a year. Next month, it'll be a year since we were at Super Bowl.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

My cancer bursary. Yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah. So, I mean, and it takes a while for your brain to heal after you've had such a traumatic brain surgery.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah. And I've, you know, learned that there are certain things like that it's hard for me to touch and move, and I can see that I'm slower than I was before, and that's really frustrating to me. Like, I want to be back to the way I used to.

[Tamara Judge]

I know. And you're very hard on yourself. Do you think that the surgery is really what's done that, like, it's kind of affected your motor skills a little bit, and it just takes time for your brain to heal?

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah, I think that that is a big part of it. And then I think the immunotherapy part is just why I feel kind of exhausted.

[Tamara Judge]

But I think mentally, you went from, I'm fighting for my life to getting that scan that said there's no tumors detected. And then it was like, okay, now I can process what I'm going through, where before I'm just trying to live that's exactly.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

I mean, you nailed it. I mean, I was really fighting for my life and when I was, I felt different then. And now that the, the storm has

[Tamara Judge]

calms a little bit now you're processing everything that's gone.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

And now I'm starting to develop fear where I didn't have fear before. Like, I have fear to do a lot of things.

[Tamara Judge]

Like, what's your fear? What's your biggest fear?

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Like, well, one that cancer is going to come back.

[Tamara Judge]

Oh, yeah. But like, but you, you can't think like that. I know it's easier said than done, but.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

But other than that, like, I mean, I haven't even taken any Ubers by myself. Like, I don't feel super self sufficient. Yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

It's just going to take time. It's going to take time. You're doing so great. But I did see a change in you after you did get that, oh, no tumors detected, and then you kind of went. You took steps backwards after that, in my opinion, as your friend. Then all because I remember asking you, like, was that a huge relief? And you go, no.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah. And that's when I took the month off.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah. You're like, no, it's not. Now I have to process everything I've gone through and now it's really hit me what I'm going through.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

Yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah.

[Teddy Mellencamp]

So it's. Every day is a new day. But, you know, we don't want to be Debbie Downers on the pod. So let's get to.

If you have a lot to answer to, then you're gonna be the one on.

Like, if you throw the big party, it's usually you that goes on that week. Or like, I would think that Vicky's probably gonna be the first one to go on because it's her big season back.

I want to be able to travel again and feel good.

I think it's gonna be really exciting to see Nene back in the mix. Oh, yeah, for sure. Like, we haven't seen her so long. Never thought that she would ever be back. And just looking at the pictures, which I'm so surprised they're allowed to post everything.

I know they're posting pictures from each event. Each we can figure out.

There's even, like, press. There was press at the Atlanta one, and they were posting pictures. So I. I'm excited to see them all.

Yeah, I'm excited to see them all. I mean, I saw a big group of them when I was at the white party.
