This is an I Heart podcast. Two T's in a Pod with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamara Judge.
Tamara Judge
Hey, guys. Welcome back to another episode of two T's and a Pod with myself and Dolores. Hello. How are you?
Teddi Mellencamp
I'm good. How are you?
Tamara Judge
I'm good. We took a week off, and it seems like a month. I feel like I haven't seen you in so long. I'm like, I don't even know if I know how to do this podcasting thing anymore.
Teddi Mellencamp
Like riding a bike, like anything else, we always adapt and adjust. We're women. We could do anything.
Tamara Judge
How was your Fourth of July?
Teddi Mellencamp
Was very busy here where I am.
Tamara Judge
Where? Where? So where you am, it's very busy. Did you have fun? Was there a party? Was any wine thrown?
Teddi Mellencamp
A lot of parties.
Tamara Judge
A lot of partying. Huh? I personally was. I've been sick.
Teddi Mellencamp
What's the matter? I didn't know.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, well, I la. It lasted like a week. I started getting, like, nauseous and then started stomach issues. Well, I had, like, a divertic flare up, so I was nauseous. My stomach was hurting on the left side. I was bloated. I was myself. It was a whole. So like, seven times. Like, I. It was this seven times. Yeah, well, see, I already have intestinal issues anyways, as you know.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
So when I have something like this happen, I mean, at least I didn't end up in the hospital. So I'm happy about that. I just. It just. Is it qu. I just told Eddie. We just took our relationship to a whole another level.
Teddi Mellencamp
Me too.
Tamara Judge
Something happened. It was so bad. Okay, well, let's talk about. There is a headline. I'm curious to see your thoughts on this. A father's plea to. To President Trump. And that's Gia. So Gia is writing letters to President Trump. I gotta believe she took notes from Savannah Chrisley, who, you know, was gonna.
Teddi Mellencamp
Be like chain reaction. Right. You do it, for one. Yeah.
Tamara Judge
Right. So I don't know how far she's gotten with this, but it really hit the Internet hard. And there, you know, there was a lot of mixed comments about that.
Teddi Mellencamp
There are voices.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. There always is, and there's always going to be. Yes. I personally think, you know, I would like to see him to be able to be with his family. I mean, any father, mother, to be with her kids. However, people are saying things like, well, you could have been become a citizen. You chose not to.
Teddi Mellencamp
You.
Tamara Judge
You know, obviously, he did do his time, but if he had done his.
Teddi Mellencamp
Time, he did his time. And she paid every dime a of what he owed. Every single dime. And it was a lot of money. It was years of working and paying and it was a lot. And I give her credit, you know, I think she got behind on her own, if anybody really wants to know the truth, because she was so busy hanging that and raising four girls and being a single mom.
Tamara Judge
Right.
Teddi Mellencamp
And she did her best. She did her best and she served time and he served his time. You know, listen, I, I, I would love to see every family be together, however that has to be.
Tamara Judge
I agree with that. Or it's not our call that, but people are having strong opinions like they do. Joe says, I know I made a mistake, but I did my time. And my family has done the time with me as well. Yeah, yeah. It's been almost 10 years, which I can't believe it's been almost 10 years since I've been able to stand next to my girls in the US All I want is for the chance to come back home, hug my daughters and be there for the little things dads are supposed to be there for.
Teddi Mellencamp
He was always a good dad, by the way. He, he was very hands on with them. They're crazy for their father.
Tamara Judge
Oh, I'm sure they are. I mean, but we're at a time right now where people are with what's going on with ice. People are being plucked from.
Teddi Mellencamp
It's not all over. How could you do that? And when at this time when everyone's.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, yeah. I think that that's probably another reason why people are saying, wait a minute, hold on. He had a choice to become a citizen. He chose not to.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, there's, Yeah.
Tamara Judge
I mean the good thing is, is that his kids are older now and they are able to go visit him. So he's not in it. He's not in Italy anymore. Right. Is he's in the Bahamas. Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
It's easy to get to, but it's still not the same. No, it's not the same.
Tamara Judge
Not the same.
Teddi Mellencamp
But.
Tamara Judge
Okay, so we are going to recap Atlanta. This is a season finale.
Teddi Mellencamp
Can you believe was the, it was the never end. I thought it was actually going to last like as long as some sitcoms. Like I thought, I thought it was going to be like Friends.
Tamara Judge
We still have three more episodes. The reunion. So three reunions.
Teddi Mellencamp
I don't want to jump ahead, but I just want to say the way this finale ended is so many open ended fights coming at this reunion. They should give them four parts and they should get like whatever it Is the frick they want because this was a good season towards the end. Middle.
Tamara Judge
And yes. Have you been following this Marcus guy in all the stories and supposedly proof that he's putting out there. This guy is so thirsty that I don't care at this point what he has to say because it's not credible. It's not credible. It's dirty to. To do something like that. He knew what he was getting into. He knew what he was doing. Now he's blaming. I think the last I. He's blaming Angela, that Angela hired him or blackmailed him or something into doing it.
Teddi Mellencamp
He has absolutely zero credibility. I'm going to make my brother. My brother watch this. He'll be able to figure it out.
Tamara Judge
He'll be able to figure it out.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, but, you know, we've seen this before so many times, even on New Jersey, when some thirsty person comes out of the woodwork.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
And says, you know, is discredited. Even in any like case. Even in a. In a law. In a criminal case, a discredible witness will screw everything up. Someone who's not credible. Someone who is just full of which this guy's story is all over the place.
Tamara Judge
So. Okay, so how it starts as Portia and her sister Lauren arrive at Phaedra's house. Portia talks about how she has been struggling with the loss of her cousin. Phaedra tells them they should do a butterfly release for their cousin because they keep telling her she loved butterflies.
Teddi Mellencamp
And they had a lot of signs and butterflies on the plates.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, yeah. It was, I mean, a very sweet, touchy moment. So, so sad. So sad. I mean, we've all seen her. Her cousin on the show many times. It's just so heartbreaking. Then Angela meets up with her therapist, Dr. Wendy. Angela says Dr. Wendy is the third party in the relationship. And I thought, oh, she's one of the third parties. I think this sounds like there's many third parties. It's a.
Teddi Mellencamp
What's after a throuple.
Tamara Judge
I don't know.
Teddi Mellencamp
What's the next thing that you would call it?
Tamara Judge
I don't know. I don't know.
Teddi Mellencamp
So I'm far removed from that world, if anybody wants to look that up. So anyway, I happen to like that. That doctor, Dr. Wendy. I did like Dr. Wendy. I mean, it's better than the therapist that was on our show for Jenny and Bill. When she fell asleep while they were talking, she looked like.
Tamara Judge
Quite honestly, I'd probably fall asleep listening to her talk too.
Teddi Mellencamp
No, see, you know, I want you to make up with everybody.
Tamara Judge
I'm joking. I'm joking. I joke.
Teddi Mellencamp
I know you can't joke, but, you know, in. In. On Jersey. In Jersey, we're like. We don't take jokes too kindly. Not me, though. Me, I could take anything. But other people, you know, they get. They get offended. But I'm sure Jen will.
Tamara Judge
Come on, Jen. Well, Wendy has helped them stay together, according to Angela. Like, they have stuck together. Wendy did make a comment where she says, Charles wakes up in the middle of the night worried he's going to get attacked. And. And Angela says something like, oh, we're not going to talk about that. Do you have any idea.
Teddi Mellencamp
Let that go. I did. See? See that? No. How's Teddy? Call her and find out.
Tamara Judge
We always do it.
Teddi Mellencamp
Wait, Tamara, you know they'll address that at the reunion.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
Like, if that. If production is really good, as I think they are, then they're gonna make her talk, you know, they're not gonna let her get away with that.
Tamara Judge
Well, the fact that they left it in makes me believe it's going to be talked about.
Teddi Mellencamp
They're coming for that. And. Yeah. And. Yeah.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. So then Angela brings up the fact that Marcus made a toast and called out that Angela's husband was cheating on her. She says that Charles shut it down. They've done. They've gone through a lot, you know, trust issues, and they talk about how, you know, she's very open and talks about how, you know, it took her a while to trust him and she.
Teddi Mellencamp
Married a ball player.
Tamara Judge
It just. But my question is, is she being open and honest or is she trying to make good tv? Or is it both?
Teddi Mellencamp
No, I think I find her to be very honest, to tell you the truth. So what I see here is he put her through the mill. Like, he. He really, like, probably dragged her through it. It seems that way, by the way she is towards him. However, if someone stays somewhere after that happens and nothing happens for a long time, you can come back from it because you want to. If you want to stay in the relationship, if you want to keep this relationship, you can't go on the rest of your life being miserable, worrying and not.
Tamara Judge
Yes. And if you choose to stay with that person, you have to let it go. Yes, you have to, because if you don't, it's going to eat you alive.
Teddi Mellencamp
And. And I believe she let it go. I believe she's let a lot of things go, but I also believe that he's older. Listen, when, you know, men's thing stops work when they get to his age and the shit doesn't work like it used to.
Tamara Judge
Oh, like the wiener doesn't work.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, they start to get humbled and if they're lucky, their family and their life and their wife is still intact. And then all of a sudden they decide they want to be the good husband and stay home and cook.
Tamara Judge
Do you think that it doesn't work or do you think they just don't have the urge like they did when they were younger? I mean, as you get older, your sex drive drive declines for sure.
Teddi Mellencamp
There's no doubt about that. I, I, no. What do you think they have Viagra for 18 year olds? No. Testosterone gets depleted and all these other things. Viagra wasn't made for guys who don't have problems.
Tamara Judge
And that makes me think, oh God, thank God I'm a woman. Because when you're a woman, your, your hormones change as you get older and then you just get irritated, annoyed and dry. But if you're a guy, your wanger doesn't work anymore.
Teddi Mellencamp
That's like, that's like, yeah, that's a big thing. So I do believe that he has calmed down. But some guys don't. Who am I to say? But I feel like also men in their later age, and I'm not saying all men, so let's all stop. And I'm sure there's many wonderful, beautiful husbands and you know, a lot of women aren't okay too.
Tamara Judge
Don't give a shit if your wiener still works. We're happy for you.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, yeah, whatever. But I think that men in their late 50s start to, who, who have been acted like that or run around, they start to wonder who they're going to die with. They start to get scared about dying. They start to like they're not, not immortal anymore. Yeah, like, I think that's God's thing telling them, God's way of telling them, you better calm down, that's all.
Tamara Judge
Got to slow down, buddy. Slow down.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, you're not invincible.
Tamara Judge
You're not. So we move on to Shamia. She's preparing for her show. She talks about how she was using social media to create her own opportunities instead of waiting for other people to give them to her. Which is very smart because there's a lot of people that come from, become famous from social media.
Teddi Mellencamp
So she's so many.
Tamara Judge
That's a good thing about social media. If you are a very talented person, you can use it for so many different things. So she's, she's taken it in her own hands and she's making herself happen. Portia was noticeably missing. We missed her. Shamia's friends arrived.
Teddi Mellencamp
Where was she?
Tamara Judge
She was still grieving over her cousin. I don't know if they had some family thing going on, but she was just missing. So Shamia's friends arrived. Her performance. Drew says she is here to give constructive criticism and to see if her mic is on. That annoyed me. Why not just say, like, I'm here to support.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, here.
Tamara Judge
I'm so excited. Like, I'm just gonna see if our mic's on. Like, it was just such a. I don't know.
Teddi Mellencamp
And then, Drew, I think it was very supportive.
Tamara Judge
That wasn't supportive.
Teddi Mellencamp
I don't think the intentions were supportive.
Tamara Judge
It was like a competition thing and a put down thing. And then she goes on to say, I've never had this much trouble hitting a note. It's.
Teddi Mellencamp
I saw that.
Tamara Judge
And it's like, it's not about you, Drew. It's not.
Teddi Mellencamp
Stop it. You know that somebody who really has talent and someone who really knows how to sing. I don't believe when I act the way she was acting, she made herself look bad.
Tamara Judge
Well, she made herself come off as jealous, you know, like, and not supportive. Like, she's just like, oh, well, I'm so much better.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, but like, Tamara, don't you think when somebody's really secure in what they do, they're not threatened by somebody else? You know what I mean? Like, absolutely. Stop it. All right. It was. You know what it was? It was Caddy and it made her look bad. Yeah, she got bad towards the middle. Remember, she had a mile of. In the beginning.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, stayed quiet. And then all of a sudden, something clicked.
Tamara Judge
Well, she had shimmy. Had a little rough start at the beginning, but she pulled it off. I mean, she. She got it going and she had a full fledged fled production. Like, this was, like, that was production.
Teddi Mellencamp
Shamir does whatever Shamia wants, however she wants. This girl wants for nothing, including self confidence. She is so confident, which is 99% of it. I know. Meanwhile, back at the right.
Tamara Judge
Meanwhile, Kelly and Britt start bickering about if Kelly's followers are fake. Brett, you cannot call out people for fake followers when you're pretending to buy a private jet.
Teddi Mellencamp
Did it even take off? I think they were just sitting on the.
Tamara Judge
No, she went to. They were. They were, like, looking at it as if they were going to buy it. So Shamia confronts Britt about what Brit was saying to Portia. Cynthia told Shamia that Britt said Shamia was Still talking about Portia even after they worked their issues out. Shamia denies that she ever showed Brit those texts. Now I'm not believing Brit at all at this point. I don't really believe anything that comes out of Britt's mouth. Shami is way too smart for that, don't you think? Do you think she had a moment? Do you think she had a moment?
Teddi Mellencamp
I think she had a moment. We've all had them and said talk shit to the wrong person and now it's biting her in the ass. Because if you remember, Portia was not treating her nice when she came on. Yeah, she wasn't being nice at all.
Tamara Judge
And you think she got upset with Portia and was like.
Teddi Mellencamp
And just was like, you don't know what happened that day or the day before. And she said too much to the wrong person.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, no, I should see that.
Teddi Mellencamp
I think that's exactly what happened. I'm sorry. She knew too much and she was too detailed. And you know what? Porsche knows she did it because Portia knew exactly what messages she was talking about. It happened. She may should just say, listen, I did it because you weren't being nice. You weren't being my friend. You didn't like me being on the show. I was getting a lot of attention. You showed up late to my party. Now, she didn't make. You know, when somebody doesn't show up to your event, which was the big concert for her, it's not an all cast. She didn't give her the all cast.
Tamara Judge
That's true. I would think that Shimmy is too smart to do something like that. But I understand what you're saying. Like there was a moment of weakness where she felt betrayed by Portia and she.
Teddi Mellencamp
I, like.
Tamara Judge
Shania said too much. She said, and me and my daughter had this conversation the other day because she said, mom, I think I said too much. I go, what? She had a friend that did her dirty, really dirty. And she ran into a mutual friend and she brought her up and she's like, I said too much because.
Teddi Mellencamp
So there you go.
Tamara Judge
That's a sweet girl. And she's. She just went off like this. She was horrible to me and she did this to me. And I go, well, next time just say less. Say less.
Teddi Mellencamp
I know your daughter and I don't feel like she said horrible things.
Tamara Judge
No, not horrible, but probably just like.
Teddi Mellencamp
It'S not in her mate. Like, she's not like me or you. Neither one of our daughters are like us. So I'm going to just say she was just like, she did horrible things to me. She made me feel bad. She did this, but she wasn't actually.
Tamara Judge
That in her mind. She thought those were bad things because she's just not that type. She's not that type of. I know.
Teddi Mellencamp
I don't even know where she came from. Sweetest, beautiful, but so are you. I'm just busting your balls. I could say the same thing about my daughter, the granola queen.
Tamara Judge
She's way. Sophie is way more conservative than I am. Way more. Yes.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
So Brit goes low, says Shimmy is lying about her daughter's condition because after the big performance, Shmia put on crying in Granada. Grenada. Granada. Have you said instead of going home to her, Shamia went to Miami with Kelly. Now, I don't know anything about that.
Teddi Mellencamp
But.
Tamara Judge
Kind of a disgusting thing to say is to go after her about her daughter. Like, really, Like, I just. Yeah, but you don't have to, like, go after kids. Like, don't go after kids. Don't go after somebody's mothering.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, I certainly wouldn't do it, but she did. And she's done terrible things and said terrible things. You know what? This is the fine line of being a good housewife and being a horrible person. Like, you can do so much without going so far doing it all.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, well, you know, Brit always, like we said, she goes so low, and when somebody says something back to her, she plays the victim. And that's one, like, character trait I can't stand. I cannot stand it. She can dish it out, but she can't take it. So Shamia gets pissed off. She calls her a pill popper. Now, this is the second cast member to call Brit a pill popper.
Teddi Mellencamp
So that's actually subject because she don't like to be called that.
Tamara Judge
No, I don't think anybody likes to be accused of popping pills. Kelly is cooking breakfast with her kids and Camilla comes over. Camille asks how Sandy Springs is going. Kelly explains that with her divorce, it's not opening anytime soon. Now, this is very controversial because there's been a lot of stuff in the press lately about this. Now, evidently, Kelly has since been in the news. She's being sued by Navy Federal Credit Union for allegedly owing 26, 000 in unpaid credit card debt. The lawsuit filed in May claims she defaulted on a credit agreement. But Kelly's rep says she hasn't been served and that the debt stems from the joint account with her ex husband, who now is in bankruptcy. His team disputes that, saying he was removed from all shared accounts. In 2022. And the debt is solely Kelly's responsibility. This is in her first legal issue. She previously settled a six figure lawsuit with her landlord and faced permanent problems with her restaurant. So she's going through something we don't know. This is just stuff that was in the press. Don't know if it's. Assuming it's. Who knows if it's true?
Teddi Mellencamp
Actually, Tamara, I can't sleep if my credit card goes over a certain thing. Like, I don't know these girls. Let me just tell you, I'm the same way. And I, I often think about this. The girls on this show have real issues. Like they got problems. Like they have, like pay your bills. Distress that they're under. Who's getting divorced, who's getting sued, who's going in foreclosure, you know, whose child isn't feeling well while they're away. Like, these are, you know, these are things. These are big things. And then you have, like, they're difficult.
Tamara Judge
Things to navigate through.
Teddi Mellencamp
And then having Angela trying to get her husband to be nice to her on camera. Like, these are big things.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. Drew and Ralph have a conversation about Ralph having a court order to not be able to see his kids Monday through Friday. Drew explains that even though the court ordered that, she would never want to take her kids away from him. Now I'm confused. Like, why is there a court order that he can't see his kids Monday through Friday? He lives in the same damn house as them. It doesn't make any sense to me. They decide to move forward and be.
Teddi Mellencamp
Good to walk around with a blindfold on.
Tamara Judge
I, I know. That's why I'm like, what do you mean you can't see your kids? They're in the same house. Don't go downstairs, kids. Daddy's down there and it's not a big day. It's so weird.
Teddi Mellencamp
This whole thing is so crazy. But you know what? I'm gonna tell you the truth. I've eaten a mile of shit at times, which we all have. For peace, for the sake of peace. Did she have to bust his chops about the hundred dollar. Oh, pest control bill? Like, so after seeing that and like getting them all worked up, she's leaving and he's home with the kids. Do you really want to leave your husband, Ex husband. Who's now all worked up and now you leave him with the kids? What if he takes it out on the kids? Like he's going to be in a bad mood over $100?
Tamara Judge
Yeah. To me, I just it just.
Teddi Mellencamp
It just didn't sit right with me for a long time.
Tamara Judge
Well, I'm just glad that Drew said, even though there's a court order, I still am going to let you see the kids.
Teddi Mellencamp
I mean, well, thank God, because the judge is making the dumbest going on here.
Tamara Judge
I just don't know what he did to have that privilege pulled from him, other than he can't button his top five buttons on his shirt. That's the only thing first.
Teddi Mellencamp
Six, I think, is six shirt on.
Tamara Judge
We get to see Phaedra go on a date. And something just felt off about this date to me. Anybody else? I just didn't feel like it was maybe a real date.
Teddi Mellencamp
I don't know, a little bit kind of impressed. I don't know. I mean, I guess I was so enthralled with the. The way he looked because he's like a young. Yeah, happen guy.
Tamara Judge
Very tall, good looking, very smooth.
Teddi Mellencamp
Like, I was like, no, I. I was too busy thinking about, like, what must go on there because, well, the height difference, too. My mind went to a very. Hey, I have to take this one over because my mind was in the gutter.
Tamara Judge
Oh, your mind? Well, yeah. I think that anybody looking at their drastic height difference, you're like, how does that work?
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, no, I was thinking all these things and I was like, oh, you're.
Tamara Judge
Thinking crazy things about him.
Teddi Mellencamp
Go. No. I was like, girl, get it. Go. Whoa. When he got up, I was like, whoa.
Tamara Judge
But I didn't see the chemistry there. Just seemed forced.
Teddi Mellencamp
There was no chemistry.
Tamara Judge
I'm like, there's like a 20 year difference.
Teddi Mellencamp
What?
Tamara Judge
She really dating him? Is she dating him still?
Teddi Mellencamp
Tamara, what is.
Tamara Judge
What are you. Just let it be.
Teddi Mellencamp
What are they doing? What are they going to do? Sit and talk about current events? You don't date this guy. I. Yeah, I see Kevin. I see Kevin.
Tamara Judge
No, you didn't. There's no. I. I just saying, like, I don't.
Teddi Mellencamp
See, like, a connection is what you mean.
Tamara Judge
What I'm saying is so many things on this show is kind of fake and made just for the show. So I'm like, is this really somebody she's dating or is this somebody there she's just acting like she's dating?
Teddi Mellencamp
Come on. You're just like. It's like right now you're telling me like, Santa Claus isn't real. You're killing me right now. I was so happy for her. Now, see, now I'm all pissed off.
Tamara Judge
I don't know. For me, okay? I'm just. I'M just wondering. I'm just. I'm just throwing it out there. I'm not saying that's happening, but I, you know. You know, my mind, it goes in 100 different places. Is she really dating him? I don't know. It seemed weird.
Teddi Mellencamp
You know what? I don't know now. Now I'm going to go back and look through different eyes and I'm going to see what you're talking about. Probably, but I don't like that. Listen, I'm not cool with fake story shit. I'm not cool with that.
Tamara Judge
I can't stand it. And that's why I'm very honest.
Teddi Mellencamp
I've been very honest always. And there is a lot of, like, Brit stuff, like, so much of it, like, whatever. I don't know. I guess I. I'm. I gotta think about this now.
Tamara Judge
Well, good for her. I hope that they're still hanging out.
Teddi Mellencamp
Ride that wave till it crashes. That's all I gotta tell you, girl.
Tamara Judge
Right? So, brittle famous family comes over for dinner. She says this is the first her family has been all together in years. And I'm like, okay. I'm like, wah, wah, wah. Don't really care. Brit and Mike are moving forward with their wedding ceremony and want everyone to be there. Now, this is the thing.
Teddi Mellencamp
Who's everyone?
Tamara Judge
I don't know, but we hear whole damn wedding ceremony all season. There was no wedding ceremony.
Teddi Mellencamp
Why?
Tamara Judge
Was it a story to pay the.
Teddi Mellencamp
Bill at the country club?
Tamara Judge
Is that what they were supposed to get married at the country club and she didn't pay the bill, so now there's no wedding?
Teddi Mellencamp
No, I just made that up. I'm. I mean, it's true she didn't pay the bill at the country club, but if you're a one guy.
Tamara Judge
Did you all know I just made it happen?
Teddi Mellencamp
No, she didn't pay the bill at the country club. I'm not saying they were getting married.
Tamara Judge
No, I'm joking.
Teddi Mellencamp
I haven't.
Tamara Judge
But why on God's earth are we. Why are they covering the fact that they're going to get married when we don't see a wedding? Don't care. Don't care and nothing.
Teddi Mellencamp
I don't care about that. Out. There's a lot going on. We didn't need to see that.
Tamara Judge
I didn't need to see it. And we're not going to ever see it.
Teddi Mellencamp
We're not going to ever see it anyway. So let's forget it even happens. We got other things. We got big things to talk about. I want to Know where Marcus came from. But I want black and white proof. You do know there's a saying, and I say it all the time. Two can keep a secret if one is dead.
Tamara Judge
So it's going to come out. So I've seen so many different scenarios and different people being, first, Phaedra was blamed, and I think maybe Phaedra was blamed because possibly she was an easy target because of what happened prior.
Teddi Mellencamp
So you don't think Phaedra did it?
Tamara Judge
You know, I don't know. I honestly don't know. I'm trying to think of every angle. I think it would be very stupid of her to do that, considering.
Teddi Mellencamp
Especially since she went through. Yes.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
The other part of it is also, you can't trust anybody. You can't trust these bloggers, these thirsty people. You can't trust them.
Tamara Judge
No. And so, you know, we get into it. We're at the Charles Oakley Foundation. The girls are showing up. Now the girls are all sitting together. Angela starts questioning who could have sent Marcus.
Teddi Mellencamp
Wait, can I just say one thing? Because Angela blamed a couple people sitting there before she got to Phaedra. Am I wrong?
Tamara Judge
I.
Teddi Mellencamp
She said, well, Kelly.
Tamara Judge
I think Kelly's. Yeah, you're right, because Kelly's name was brought up first.
Teddi Mellencamp
So I got confused. If you were so sure, who did it.
Tamara Judge
And then brush.
Teddi Mellencamp
She wasn't told yet. Unless Marcus was waiting for his moment. But she's like in the Godfather, the person that brings you the information is usually the one that. No, that's not it. The person who calls for the meeting. Angela will be the traitor. Don't talk to me about Godfather stuff.
Tamara Judge
Oh, and she was talking about.
Teddi Mellencamp
She was talking about Phaedra there, but prior to that, she said it was really interesting. Kelly, you invited him to your party. Yeah. And first she said, you. You invited him to your party, and then you had a toast with him while he did that. So Kelly's like me. And then she looked at Brit and she goes, well, you and I haven't been getting long, so maybe it was you. And then you. And then you go. Then she gets to finally Phaedra, and, like, she was really hot for this guy to stay because when Charles was throwing him out, I thought she was going to need a defibrillator. She was having.
Tamara Judge
She went crazy.
Teddi Mellencamp
I get what she was trying to do, but she took a chance doing it while Charles was there.
Tamara Judge
That's like a whole nother side of her that we haven't seen, which doesn't. You're not up to her very calm demeanor. And now she's like, losing her because Marcus is like, get your ass out of here. Get.
Teddi Mellencamp
It was very suspicious, quite frankly. Charles didn't give a where it came from.
Tamara Judge
He doesn't care. Most guys don't care.
Teddi Mellencamp
He's like, no, I want to prove that me and you. And he's like, I don't got to prove nothing to nobody.
Tamara Judge
Yep. That's what you call a secure man. I don't have to prove. That's what I.
Teddi Mellencamp
And that's what I'm saying, because, you know, because like, Drew, like I was saying, Drew's not a secure person. She's not.
Tamara Judge
No. And, well, you know, Eddie's one that taught me that a long time ago. Like, I don't have to defend myself. I don't give a shit what other people think. Like, if that's what they want to think, just let them think that.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, that's so.
Tamara Judge
I mean, it's the insecure guys that have to get on social media every time their name has been brought up on the show and try to fake fix it. And that's not what happened.
Teddi Mellencamp
And big, big mistake. You can't fix it. You have to just let it ride.
Tamara Judge
Energy small.
Teddi Mellencamp
You gotta let it right up. It's usually a 72 hour lifespan. Yeah, let go.
Tamara Judge
Who cares? I mean, I know sometimes us girls get annoyed when lies are being said about us, but I think the more you try to defend yourself.
Teddi Mellencamp
But we're housewives too, so that's different. When the guy's trying to do it, it's like just. They just don't care. What do you care? Yeah, you know, go do guy things.
Tamara Judge
So Marcus goes on to tell the group it was Phaedra who hired him. Marcus starts explaining the story how Phaedra met him and dropped off an envelope. Phaedra. Phaedra. The thing is, that's confusing to me is like, she didn't have a big reaction. She's like, huh, what? Like I would have expected her to be like, you know, what are you talking about? You like, you're crazy. She just sat there with her facial expressions, and I'm like, I was shocked she did that. And then it started to make me think maybe she did. Maybe she did.
Teddi Mellencamp
Tamara, like, when somebody gets hyper and goes nuts, people say, oh, if it wasn't true, they wouldn't have gotten so hyper.
Tamara Judge
And I didn't mean for her to go crazy. Maybe crazy is not the right word.
Teddi Mellencamp
But just like me, like surprised is what you're saying.
Tamara Judge
And she was just like. But it was just weird.
Teddi Mellencamp
You know, some people are just very. And I would expect Phaedra to be this very calm, no matter what. It would take a lot.
Tamara Judge
Like, she's an attorney.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, no, even. Yeah, but let's go back to when Apollo gets. Goes in the garage and he is on height and 10. Like, he looks like he's going to tear down the house. I was shivering watching the episode, and she was just standing there going, stand there. Don't come by me. Stand there.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, maybe. Yeah, you're right. You're right.
Teddi Mellencamp
Like, let's both think. Like, I think she's just calm. I can't gauge it by then, by that way. And then there's people like me who go absolutely nuts and crazy when somebody tries to blame me for something I didn't do. And then people go online and go, oh, she wouldn't have got that upset if she wasn't lying. What?
Tamara Judge
Everybody deals with things differently. I think initial shock is some people are explosive, some people are not. It's the people that continue to try to clear their name for, you know, months and weeks and sometimes years and can't let it go. Those are the people that are usually lying. They're the ones that, like, let it go.
Teddi Mellencamp
I'll give that one to you.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. Like, if you have to keep talking about it like nobody cares anymore, like, shut up. I mean, Pedro would be really dumb to fall into that trap after, like we said, what happened last year. I just. I don't know who hired Marcus, but I'm excited to see the reunion. I'm sure they're going to get to the bottom of it.
Teddi Mellencamp
I would never have hired somebody, somebody that would do that, because they could do that to you, to the person you're hired, they're going to turn on you would never fail.
Tamara Judge
It made this Marcus guy look so bad, so, so thirsty. It's embarrassing. Like, it's. Anyways, well, this show stops there. And then we go. It flashes to five months later. Portia is now able to film in her home. And at this point, I'm like, did we not ever get to see her in her house? I guess we didn't. So her divorce has gone through. She's feeling better about herself, and she's going to show her whole house off, including her writing, that treadmill or whatever she was on elliptical. I can't remember now, and full blown makeup and leopard on and, you know, getting off and walking through our house. And they're like, okay, we finally get five minutes later, we get to see your house. We're gonna do it all in this one clip.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
Walk from room to room to room. Like, oh, my God. So the ending credits we can alternate on these. Kelly's is. After three years, Kelly finally closes the doors on her marriage in September of 2024. She's prepar open new doors to her Sandy Springs Nana's chicken and waffle location sometime in early spring, summer, fall, who knows? She'll be double checking the guest list for the grand opening.
Teddi Mellencamp
Hold on. Take the next one. I'll take the next two.
Tamara Judge
And then, then Brett. Brit is using her clean slate to open a new insurance agency. So obviously she didn't lose her license. She's also working hard to release a bear and bare and naked so that the masses can be snatched just like her.
Teddi Mellencamp
Okay, then what. What are we on, Drew? Drew's album I Did it to Me was released in March 2025. Actually, you did it to Phaedra. Her music career is on high. Her relationship with Ralph is still on a low as she continues to reside as he continues to reside in his basement. Basement apartment in the sky. What?
Tamara Judge
What does that mean? Basement in the sky?
Teddi Mellencamp
With an end to the divorce nowhere in sight. That's horrible, Shamia. While baby Shiloh continues to make progress, Shamia has a new surrogate and hopes to welcome a baby boy soon. Her single Never had was released in March 2025. She hopes that listeners don't talk over it this time. Go ahead, Fate.
Tamara Judge
Phaedra. Phaedra is hooked and busy and adding more jobs to her resume until her boys retire her. Meanwhile, her chocolate prince Chichi is still satisfying her sweet tooth. So I guess they are still together.
Teddi Mellencamp
Angela sold three houses, but two have unfortunately been lost. However, she's staying cool under the pressure with her with her next business venture, Fangi, a line of fans. No word on when she and Charles will renew their vows. Don't do it, Angie. You've come this far. Leave it alone.
Tamara Judge
Oh, my God, no. And then. So Portia Simon was detained while entering the country in February 2025, leaving the divorce on ice, but she is now officially divorced. Right? That. That is a good one. But I think they are divorced.
Teddi Mellencamp
He got hosed. He got totally hosed.
Tamara Judge
He got hosed. All right, thank you guys for listening. We will be. We'll back next week with part one of the reunion. And you guys, don't forget, tune in Thursday night, July 10, to see the premiere of what? Of the Real Housewives of Orange County. And then I will be at on watch what happens live premiere night.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, you are?
Tamara Judge
I am. So I leave tomorrow morning for New York. All right, guys.
Teddi Mellencamp
All right, guys. Nice talking to you. Bye.
Tamara Judge
Bye.
