It's less stress. And you kind of don't realize that you're not living.

That you weren't. Like, I was autopilot for eight years, you know?

And you don't realize it until you get out of. And you're like.

And the first year's a shock.

Well, for me, I don't know. I kind of.

It was a shock for us, was it not?

For me.

I had 12 years straight.

And then.

And so for me, it was like, my kids were little. Now they're all grown. I'm like, what the.

Who am I?

How'd this happen? I got kicked out of the Cool Girls club. You know, all those things. Yeah.

[Tamara Judge]

I didn't have 12 years. Just had three years. But it was still a shock.

[Jenna Kim Jones]

But it's still a shock.

[Robin]

You know what? I always. Everybody. I always, like, assumed I was getting fired or not being asked back every single year.

[Jenna Kim Jones]

Me too.

[Robin]

So even this year, right?

[Jenna Kim Jones]

Yeah, every year.

Especially this year.

[Jenna Kim Jones]

Especially this year. I held the whole show. What are you talking about?

You never know.

But so I always kind of, like, mentally prepared myself for that. And I think that's why my transition to not being on the show was, like, super easy, because I was always prepared to not be on the show.

[Jenna Kim Jones]

I think it's really hard for girls that don't have other income. And when it does come, then it's more than a shock. It's like, oh, shit, what do I do now?

[Robin]

Oh, yeah.

[Jenna Kim Jones]

It's so many housewives like that.

[Robin]

Yeah. And it's not even just not have another income, but another outlet. Like, I have Reasonably Shady, which keeps me entertained and busy. And I still. So that actually keeps Giselle and I. Huge difference. Connected. Right. So having Reasonably Shady, I opened a skincare studio, a franchise location of a skincare company. That. And I'm like, that's more work than I want it to be.

Yeah.

[Jenna Kim Jones]

Brick and mortar is tough.

[Robin]

Yes. Brick and mortar is tough. Employees, Customers. Employee.

[Jenna Kim Jones]

No.

[Robin]

And then the corporate people.

[Jenna Kim Jones]

But employees is the toughest.

Staffing.

[Jenna Kim Jones]

Staffing is the hardest thing. When you have brick and Mortar.

[Robin]

Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh.

People don't want to work.

[Robin]

Especially today, they don't want to work. And it's like, well, if you're not working, if you don't wanna work, well, what are you doing? But it's like, people are just so comfortable just doing whatever it is that they do. And so that keeps me busy. My kids are very heavily into basketball, and that keeps me busy. So that just. I have a lot of stuff that just, like, I didn't even have time to like, sit around and be like, oh, what am I gonna do next? Like it was.

[Tamara Judge]

You just hit the ground.

[Robin]

Keep it going. Yeah. But I did not realize how much we were. I was just like, not living, like, not really.

[Tamara Judge]

Like you were in the bubble.

[Robin]

Yeah, it was a bubble. And I thought I was very made of conscientious effort to be present to. Right. To be present and you're not. And to not let the show kind of.

[Jenna Kim Jones]

Because it consumes your life.

[Robin]

Yes.

If you're not filming, it's being edited, you're doing press, then you got the social media and everything's non stop.

[Robin]

Yeah. So it felt good just to like check out from that. And then even my relationship with Gisele, although we are great friends, we are on the show together. On Reasonably Shady Together. Our relationship probably while we were on, while I was on the show, was 80% about the show. Right now it's like 99% about just being friends, our friendship and having fun. And Reasonably Shady is so much funner. Funner. Oh, my God. That's not a word.

No, I got super sick. I got Covid when I was there.

And I always was like, this girl is. She's doing too much. She's acting, she's playing it up for the cameras. And then once I met her at Traders, I was like, oh, no.

No, she was in the lobby last night. I am so exhausted. Might be a little tipsy. Grabs me, picks me up. She's so strong. Lifts me up, almost falls backwards with.

My feet aren't touching the ground. I said, I'm fucked. I know this old bitch is throwing.

Yeah, I found out I was murdered the morning of five.

He told me later. He was like, yeah, I had to murder you. Cause I knew you were coming for me. I was coming for him that next morning, like, that next day. He was my target.

Yeah, and he knew too. He knew that I knew. And he was like, yeah, I had to get you out, like. And then it's so frustrating. You watch the show and they're like, not going after him. And I'm like, I can't believe they just.

They're just letting him get away with him. He should be the first guy they got rid of.

Just stuff that she found dramatic. I mean, nothing really pisses her off. You know what I mean? But she's like, I know. Oh, Stacey lies. And.

We had Stacy on the show.

Stacy lies. And, you know, it's funny. So when they were filming and she was telling me about, like, they're calling Stacey out on her lies, and we're going. And I said, you know what jargon you guys are? You know what's gonna happen?

You're gonna look like you're ganging up on her.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah.

[Robin]

I'm like, it's gonna look like a sale game going after her. Yeah. And then the fans are all gonna be on Stacey's side. So whether she lies or not, they don't care. They just feel sorry because she's getting ganged up on. And so I have seen that sentiment online, and I was like, oh, yeah.
