No. You hadn't taken it. Of all the stress of you, Tamara Grudge. Of all the stress of you. I was. I took a Xanax. I told Jim I am. I need. And so our doctor gave me.

Maybe I was laced with something else. I did have to take it because of you and just the show.

And then my mom and myself. So it was all about working through family trauma.

I had the best experience on that. It was 18 straight days. I got so much.

So what I want to say is let's talk a little bit about last season. So last season was rough for you and I felt like, you know, when it comes to editing, you got a rough to edit because there were so many scenes that we did do.

[Alexis Jansen]

You called me every night.

We cried together.

We cried for me. You cried for me.

[Tamara Judge]

We cried during filming. Which things they didn't see. It was only, you know about Shannon and John, right, who you are now married to, and. And then it was a lot of stuff that, you know, we talked about your mom and the stuff that you went through about my kids. We talked about getting sick and your children and your divorce and all these things. It was never shown. So I felt like for people out there that didn't see the full Alexis and they saw what they saw, like, what do you, what do you say to them now?

[Alexis Jansen]

You know, I feel like everything happens for a reason. Did I? Okay, so picture this. You just lose your mom.

[Tamara Judge]

Okay.

[Alexis Jansen]

Five months before, three months before filming. August started filming. December or January, whatever that was. So a few months before we started filming and. And you know, my phone calls to you, I said, I don't think I can do it, Tam. I don't know if I have the energy, the strength. I don't know.

[Tamara Judge]

I'm on my knees into signing the contract.

[Alexis Jansen]

Yes. And so. And then I also have to break up with my fiance at the time that I knew just was not right. It's not right to be with someone who's not there at your darkest hour. So I lost so much after already getting a divorce from my father's. The children. The father of my children. And then go straight into filming after all of these other things have transpired. I I was literally on my knees even more. And I kept saying to God, why did you do this to me after knowing how low I already was? But you know what? It did, Tam, and this is why I say it. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. That song is so true. Thank you, Kelly Clarkson. Clarkson. But I got stronger from it and it was like, I believe it was meant to happen. I don't know why I don't have the clear picture, but what I would say to everybody is you are hearing more of who Alexis really is now than on the pod. On all the pods, on Carlos.

Because we are not doing the news. We are doing reality tv. Like, I don't know. I don't. I'm just following where God leads me.

No, I think you have a natural talent for podcasting.

Yeah. As much as I want you back on the show in different circumstances, because I could use a really good friend on the show. And I feel like, you know, I tell Eddie this all the time and I don't want to get like teary eyed, but you check on me and you tell me you love me. And here I, like, I feel like I have your heart. You know what I mean? Like, there's not a lot of friends that you feel like have your back and, you know, everything that went down last year.

No, I understand.

I didn't turn my back on you. No, I did not turn my back on.

No one understands. And I want to say this to all the listeners right now. The other two two t's listeners, every cast mate turned their back on me last season because of how much hate I was getting. And I had to Shut off. You know, my. My Instagram. And then when I'd go out and meet him for coffee, no one would want to take a picture. No one would post it. You posted on my birthday when I'm at the. The darkest time of turning off and getting death threats. John and I are the most horrible human you've ever met. Because we fell in love when. No, neither of us were with anyone else. It's like, you did not turn your back on me. And I. I so look back at all of that and think, plus what? All the time we just cried about how the show was getting edited at the moment. I know that word's not nobody likes. Okay, so how we were being portrayed is what we should say. Cause you do. It is true. What you do say is what you say. You can't fake the word.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah, but a lot of times things aren't shown, so that's how it's portrayed. So people are like, why were you so hard on Shannon? Well, because of the stuff that I found out she was doing behind my back. So did they ever show any of that?

No.

So there wasn't. Like, it just came out of left field. Like, I was there until I wasn't.

Right.

You know, and it had nothing to do with being friends with you or, you know, I can balance friends.

I can, too.

I'm not that person that says, I'm your friend and you're my friend, but you like her. If you like her, I'm not gonna like you.

Well, here's the thing. You know how I can vouch for that is because you were in the middle of me and Jen being good friends and knowing how much I was talking to Jen, and I'm like, yeah, we just left. I was just left. Coffee with Jen. If one of the times you called me, I'd literally just gotten in my car, you did not say one word about it. You were like, oh, okay, cool. Okay, so what. What's the next time we can all go to dinner or whatever? We talked about that day, and it's like. It's like you did not have this. You weren't dictating anything.

[Tamara Judge]

No, I wasn't dictating. I'm not that person. But I also told you over and over again, your experience with Jen is your experience. And you might see things that I already know. You might not. I don't know. But you have to go through the experience.

And I told you, I said, where.

We both called yesterday, even just to talk about things, and it's like we're both getting ready for Bravicon. I had a crisis at work. I have kids that had. Need things. She has five kids. Dawson's in town. It was like. It's like.

It's not that I think I can just give you this and we can end on this. I think that Jenna's a good person, but I think Jenna's a people pleaser. And a lot of times when you're a people pleaser, you step in your own shit. So when you're telling one person what they want to hear, and then you're telling another person what they want to hear, and then telling the other person what they want to hear, it causes problems sometimes.

[Alexis Jansen]

That's your. That's your saying, Tamara, that a friend of all is a friend of none.

[Tamara Judge]

None. And that's where I have a problem with her. And that's where sometimes your stories get a little, like, forgetful.

Well, all I know is that you've allowed me the space to have my friendship with her. And I'm so thankful for that because that's also why we're so close, because you don't bring her up to me. I mean, we're doing it now because we're talking about the show. I mean, people don't get it that we have to talk about this on a podcast. This is something that's. Today. We're talking about what's happening in our lives today. But you've allowed me the space to have my friendship with her, and I'm thankful for that. And I'm also thankful that, like, Jen isn't. I'm not the bad one. That's why. Because the woman gets off with everything.

I know. I don't know how I. I don't want to be in the thick of all of this because I'm removed.

And Alexis, I want to say, like, there was times where I would. Because I had a really hard season and talking about taking Xanax, you know, with Teddy getting diagnosed.

I would tell you, like, I'm trying to make up with this, and she doesn't want to make up. And you're like, you know, or she did this to me today. And you're like, okay, Tamara, you know what? You need to really think about this. Like, you never put her down to me. You never thought, like, I don't have a reason to. You're like, you know what? Okay, let's think about this. Let's do what's best for you. Well, it's a job.
