Okay, so first of all, we talked about me and Vicki had this term naked wasted. It was not like to get somebody actually naked. It was just like, let's get naked wasted.

No. So wait, let's hear some backstory. Let me just give you some backstory story. So we're at a restaurant filming. And filming was almost done, Right. Fancy pants put us this fancy restaurant.

[Alexis Jansen]

Yes.

Because her mom lived there. So me and Vicki are like, screw this. Let's go to Andal. Vicki goes, it's around the corner.

[Tamara]

And the camera crew goes, we can't follow you. We're down cameras.

[Host]

It was two miles away, and we.

[Tamara]

Were in high shoes. And I go, camera crew, you don't have to follow us. We're just gonna go. And they're, like, called home office.

[Alexis Jansen]

They.

[Tamara]

They're going to a place.

[Host]

The girls are gone. And go ahead, follow them.

And they're walking backwards for two miles. Cobblestone streets, up and down. We're on the boardwalk.

We got ears. Lydia. And then next, we were dancing on Cats. And then we're on the bar, and then do you remember Heather and Gretchen were so mad at us, and we're like.

Because we were having fun and they weren't. And guess what? Footage sticked.

[Alexis Jansen]

Yes, exactly. Exactly. You bond. We bonded over being fired together. Let's talk about that.

[Tamara]

So I was at an insurance conference, actually, here in Vegas, and I was getting ready to get my word, and Doug Ross texted me, do you got a minute?

[Vicki]

Nobody wants.

[Host]

I got the same text. I got the same text. I'm like, tell me your story.

[Tamara]

Well, I just got my cute long dress on and my sequin earrings and. And not sequin earrings, diamond earrings, sequin dress. And then I called him on the balcony, and he's like, we're taking a different route this year.

[Host]

Same story.

[Alexis Jansen]

Same story.

[Tamara]

I go, what route are we taking? Cause I have to be on that route.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

She said, where we're going.

[Alexis Jansen]

Yeah.

[Tamara]

And then I was devastated. Then I called you, and you were.

So I was actually camping, and I didn't have good cell reception. So every, like, six hours, I go to the main road and check my phone, and I had multiple text Calls from Doug Ross and Alex Baskin. And so I text them. I said, hey, guys, I don't have good cell reception.

[Alexis Jansen]

What's up?

[Host]

They're like, can you talk?

[Vicki]

Nobody wants a. Can you talk?

[Alexis Jansen]

Yeah.

[Host]

And I had my kickoff meeting Friday, that Friday coming up there.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

You were set to go?

[Host]

I was set to go. So I thought, okay, cool, good, we're another season. And so I said, okay, hold on. So I had to drive a little.

[Vicki]

Bit more up the road.

[Host]

And I called them. They're like, hey, I just want to let you know that we decided to take another route and we're not going.

[Alexis Jansen]

To have you back.

[Host]

And I go, okay, thank you very much.

[Alexis Jansen]

Fuck off.

[Host]

And I hung up.

[Tamara]

I didn't say, fuck off.

[Alexis Jansen]

I go, fuck off.

What did I do wrong? Am I too old? Am I too fat?

[Host]

Am I too skinny? And then I went back to camp and I started hysterically crying. It ruined my whole weekend camping.

So it's really.

For the record, I didn't even know you then. And it ruined my weekend. I was at work at my desk when the TMZ article. No, it was when you posted your post. And she said, you know, as the og, the oc, I'm stepping down. And I remember I was at my work office. I was working for.

I didn't say I stepped down. I'm like, I got fired.

[Vicki]

Fired me?

[Alexis Jansen]

Yep.

But I didn't understand it. That was the hard part for me.

I still don't.

They said, oh, can you come in as a friend?

I don't really. I didn't. I never got a real good explanation, but I know that they had to bring in new people and change it up a little bit. They were younger with age that I did it work?

I don't know. I don't know.

Do we think maybe that was the plan the whole time? I think maybe they.

This is very far fetched, but y' all remember when it's like the housewives are in their sweat, like their prime, like all the OGs were in place. And then like always on Twitter and stuff, people are like, I'm tired of this. Like, we need new faces, we need new era, new generation. And then so I think Bravo was like, okay, it.

We'll do it.

Do you think they took two of the big.

Social media has an influence on 100.

And I think that was the start of it. And I think maybe they did listen. And I think that, you know, they caused a lot of, you know, desire for people to want y' all back. And I think that now that we're approaching a monumental season, like season 20.

Maybe that was what the plan was.
