Yeah, there's a lot of us. So we all go and we go to my grandpa's house. I mean, we're so lucky that I still have a grandpa.

Or a great grandpa.

Yeah. Great grandpa Richard.

So how many generations does that make you?

So that's great grandpa. It's me, then my dad, then my grandpa Richard.

So that's 1, 2, 3, 4. And then Cruz would be 5. Yeah.

Yeah.

Or all your kids would be 5.

So there's a lot of us. And then all of us come with our Kids to my grand. To Richard's house. We call him Richard. To Richard's house. And then, like, you kind of still wonder, as if you're my age, if, like, you're at the kids table or you're at the adults table.

It never feels like I graduated from the kids table, I don't think. I never feels like I graduated from the kids table.

I feel like I'm gonna need to walk down to the basement and sit in my little spot before.

None of it. I just show. I just show up and then eat all the egg noodles. Do you guys have egg noodles?

I mean, I know, but they're essentially like thick noodles.

I know what they are, but what. How are they prepared?

I don't know, but, like, my aunts make them, and it's so good. And they're the first to go, so it's like the second you get there.

It'S like, you gotta grab the egg noodles. Yeah.

Like, I'm like, give me the egg noodles. For me, it's. I need the egg noodles, and I need the white meat turkey.

Okay. What time does Thanksgiving begin? Because in my family, there was two rounds. So you went for lunch and dinner. Like, there's a couple of rounds. Cause you went to other people's homes.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Oh, ours is at grandpa's. It's at noon.

[Erica Jayne]

Right.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

And then we'll go back to my dad's, and we'll all complain that we're hungry and then eat again.

[Erica Jayne]

And then eat again. That's the point I'm making. Is that it always. At least where I'm from, it started at noon. And then you would go visit everybody and eat again. So it was like two dinners in one day.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Lots of pies, lots of treats.

Pumpkin pieces.

Yeah, I'm more of, like, a cobbler person.

[Erica Jayne]

I love cobbler.

Bravocon was good. I didn't really have any complaints over bravocon. I thought I had some fun. There was some emotional times with Bravocon. There was.

Did you feel the love with the standing ovation?

It's the first time I've been liked at bravocon, so it felt so strange to.

[Erica Jayne]

No. Well, she received a standing ovation and a lot of warmth. But you remember how you sat here in this chair and you were like, I'm concerned that I won't be able to read the teleprompter that I went. You did a beautiful job.

You came alive. You really. And I think that's something that you know. And I was watching some of your pods back, just clips, and you were really vibrant, very present, and so you did a great job.

My bravocon was good.

You squashed the beef.

Yeah. I didn't know that I had to squash to be coming. I didn't think it was going to be a thing, but it was so.

There is nothing to say. Yeah. So what? Okay, great. You know, I don't have anything to say. And as far as, like, the reading room with Angie K. I get asked the question. I mean, I got asked a lot of shady questions, and it's my job to respond in the way that you all want me to respond, so stop saying that.

So she picked somebody. It is what it is.

Well, like, Phaedra looked at me and she said, somebody had to lose.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Oh, yeah.

You know what I'm saying? Like, when everybody was having a breakdown, it's like, well, somebody had to lose. I got the question and I didn't even. All I said was I didn't like the color. Cause she's a pretty girl.

Yeah. You know, and she won enough the night before it.

[Erica Jayne]

Who cares? We all lose. This is part of the if you can dish it, you can take it. If you can be up there on that stage, it doesn't matter. Even like when Reza. Reza, you know, said about Kyle being the most overrated housewife, he came over, he's like, hey, I'm really sorry about. I said, it's your opinion. You're allowed to do that. That's the game we're playing up here. Everybody calm down.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

But I feel like that's the second time he's done that.

[Erica Jayne]

No, but you know what he said? I have to stand by it.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Yeah.

[Erica Jayne]

He's like, I said it before. I'm gonna say it again. You know, this is how I feel. And you know what? Good for him. It's simply his opinion. This is what we get paid to do. And that's the. That's the name of the game. We're up there to do it. It's called the Reading Room. You know.

First of all, no. And number two, I don't care, because everybody's stressed out.

Not everybody has the time to be as gracious as you would want them to be.

Well, there's a time where we all got back. We had just left the. Was it the Bravos? And we all get back to the wrong hotel room. There's like 20 of us on this, maybe 30 of us on this bus. And we're all like, where are we going? Why are we at the wrong hotel?

[Erica Jayne]

We were at the Mandala. Yeah. We got dropped off at the wrong thing. It's a whole busload of us. And it was just all bitching and.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

We'Re all just yelling out complaints. Finally somebody, like, yells over all of us and is like this. I think it was Shannon. She goes, this is the only place we can get dropped off where we have to walk the least amount. And then all of us were like, okay, okay.

[Erica Jayne]

But it's true. I mean, as much as, like, if, you know, we're on buses, like, we're getting shuttled around, we're doing things.

[Teddi Mellencamp]

Yeah, we are.

Hurtful, yeah. Tamara says that Gretchen followed over 200 hate accounts. Okay, That's a lot.

That's a lot.

It's a lot, too. Yeah. It's not like, hey, I followed somebody.

And then I realized it was a mistake.

I realized it was a mistake. Why? You know, that's a lot. That says.

I feel like the girls were, like, kind of covering for her. Because then Heather jumps in and says, gretchen has always been kind to her family, but she's heard rumblings that Gretchen subscribes to this rhetoric.

Yeah.

Gretchen has always been kind to Heather. And look, here's the thing. We're dealing with how I treat you to your face and then how I privately feel. But is it private? Because I'm liking these accounts. Do I know she also follows 4,000 people? You know, I could see mindlessly liking something not reading it all the way.

But you could see mindlessly liking a picture.

That's right. Or something that once or twice or something like that. But following over 200 hate accounts. I'd like to know the definition of hate accounts, because, look, it's easy to say hate accounts like Is it just shady accounts or is it hateful? Yeah, you know, like saying, like, the pedophilia shit is just. That's hate. You know, that's hateful.

Do you think that Andy, the women, and especially Heather were trying to help Gretchen get through this?

I don't know. I mean, I think everyone's kind of caught in the middle. What do you think?

I don't think that Andy would ever try to cover for someone's hair hate. Like, I don't. I don't believe that. I don't think the show would. I don't think that the network would. I mean, well, Gretchen then says she hired a cyber analyst to company to look at the post that she had liked. Gretchen says specifically the one post, homosexuals are pedophiles is fake. But the problem with this statement is, Gretchen, that the post you're saying is fake. The same guy wrote the same exact thing on his Twitter on the exact same date shown on the screenshot. So that would have been one hell of a coincidence.

I mean, it's. That's hard.

Yeah. I kind of feel like. I don't know, as it continues on, you know, they. It goes back through the analysis and this and that, and then it switches to Tamara.

Well, then, yeah. I mean, what do you think about that?

I do. I think that Tamara had a great season. No. Do I think that she deserved this? No.

But are you shocked that this is what she got? Knowing who she's dealing with, knowing that. Look, it's very clear that Gretchen and Tamara do not like each other, that this is what's going on. I would like to say I'm shocked, but I'm not. Because bad shit happens on all these shows to everybody.

So if I was being. And if I was Gretchen and Slade, I'd have time to recount, you know, to come back and say this stuff. I think it's all weird. I think that the.

The fans are kind of outraged in the fact that they're upset that. Why was it so quickly overlooked what Gretchen did? But now all of a sudden, we're supposed to believe this, like, robot man that's coming after Tamara? Like, how are we supposed to believe that?

Well, you're not. And you need to. I don't like this sort of anonymous accuser. If you've got something to say, reveal yourself. So you have the right to. You know, so Tamara has the right to confront her accuser. It's just. It's. I don't like any of this.

And you could tell Tamara was genuinely, like, hurt about this. Like, she's looking at Andy. She's like, I would never do this.

I've been on the show 15 years. I would never do this.
