Tamara Judge
Hi guys.
Teddi Mellencamp
Welcome to another episode of Two Teeth In a Pod with myself, Teddi Mellencamp and Tamara Judge.
Tamara Judge
Where are you?
Teddi Mellencamp
I am in La Quinta. Slate shows today.
Tamara Judge
Oh, fun. I was just looking at the gram and you were in Beverly Hills. You're in Beverly Hills at a lunch without Doritos?
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, no, it's the annual Ho ho ho lunch, Kyle.
Tamara Judge
The other hoe was. There was a hoe missing, but that.
Teddi Mellencamp
Hoe has never been at that lunch.
Tamara Judge
Oh, not that close then. Not that, not that close. Well, I am so sick of being sick. I like, I gotta like, take a shower and get pretty today or do something. I'm like, going crazy.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, you look pretty right now.
Tamara Judge
Oh, yeah, lovely.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, at least you get to rest today. Do you have anything you do?
Tamara Judge
Well, I would really like to decorate my Christmas tree.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, that I think you could do. Today's the day.
Tamara Judge
And the 20 cameos I have, they're about ready to expire because I've been too sick to do and I always got shit to do.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah.
Tamara Judge
But let's. Let's get this show on the road. Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
Salt Lake City was doing all the. I'm here to tell you that they are.
Tamara Judge
I'm loving it.
Teddi Mellencamp
I am loving it. Okay, so we're going to be recapping Salt Lake City season five.
Tamara Judge
I can't believe there's on 13 already.
Teddi Mellencamp
I know.
Tamara Judge
Doesn't it feel like they just started?
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. Where it feels like New York may never end.
Tamara Judge
Oh, my God. Don't make me cough. But New York feels like it's been on for like, three years.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, it's been on six and a half years. Like I've aged. I'm like the lady from Titanic watching. Oh, my God.
Tamara Judge
Well, was it me or did it feel like, we were watching the same episode as last week when it started.
Teddi Mellencamp
I. No, I texted on the group chat. Group chat. I'm like, hey, guys, I just turned on episode 13. But, like, did we watch this last week?
Tamara Judge
It's because they started out with the same thing as last week, where they're smelling scents. And I'm like, oh, my God, this production company is absolutely amazing. Or the editors are amazing. They promote everybody's businesses. Everyone. I mean, over here in Orange County, I gotta sneak my Vina bottles in the background and hope they don't blur them out.
Teddi Mellencamp
It's like me with my Waterloo water can right now. Like, I'm like, what? What?
Tamara Judge
What are you talking about? Yeah, I mean, it's just absolutely insane. Like, I'm like, God, I wish we had that on our show.
Teddi Mellencamp
I know. It's. I was like, back to the frickin basins. Which I wonder, like, have they come out yet? Because if she was smart, those would be out.
Tamara Judge
They'd be out. But I love when she asks Brooks, how does this smell? And he's like, a slut at the Four Seasons. I'm just kidding. He didn't say that.
Teddi Mellencamp
I have a. I have a trivia question for you, but can you name.
Tamara Judge
Oh, you're gonna ask.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, trivia question for you. Can you name Meredith's caviar brand?
Tamara Judge
I don't know. Cowboy caviar. I have no idea. Cowboy Caviar. I don't know.
Teddi Mellencamp
I have no idea either.
Tamara Judge
Meredith Marks.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, it's named Meredith Marks.
Tamara Judge
Well, she kind of names everything after herself, doesn't she? That's one thing I've never bought into. When you do a business, like, don't name it after yourself.
Teddi Mellencamp
That's like, what do you mean? My new business is going to call.
Tamara Judge
Be called Teddy Teddy now. Call it the Gnat.
Teddi Mellencamp
The Gnats Workshop. Okay, so they're doing bath bombs. They're smelling it. But then Seth, like, has no time for it. He's like, listen, we could talk about these bath bombs whenever. Let's get right into the juice. Let's talk about the bar mitzvah.
Tamara Judge
Let's talk about the slut shaming man.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, my gosh. Meredith explains what set her off. She said Britney said that Angie was slut shaming Britney. And then Meredith said that Angie continuously hits below the belt. And this was supposed to be a hate free event. Meredith, if you wanted a hate free.
Tamara Judge
Event, don't invite anybody.
Teddi Mellencamp
Hired two security guards while filming. For real.
Tamara Judge
Very true, very true.
Teddi Mellencamp
Like, are you launching a Bullshit scented bath bomb. Because that's what I'm feeling.
Tamara Judge
What? Let me just ask you, is slut shaming really that mean? I mean, come on, getting laid all the time, is that really a bad thing? That means you have a. You have a sex drive. That's something I'm really jealous of nowadays. At my age, you're like, someone, please.
Teddi Mellencamp
Slut shame me, please.
Tamara Judge
I want to have that sex drive so I can be slut shamed.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, then, Angie. Then we cut to Angie and Sean talking about the Bat Mitzvah. Angie hasn't stopped crying since Meredith kicked her out of the event. I wasn't really. I think when I watched last week's episode, I wasn't really thinking about how Angie probably felt after being screamed.
Tamara Judge
Like, I know. I want to cry too, but is it just me or is it Angie getting kicked out of a lot of events lately?
Teddi Mellencamp
You know what?
Tamara Judge
Why? I can't help myself.
Teddi Mellencamp
I just love me some Angie because even though she may be getting kicked out of a lot of events, her scene with Mary was so good. That.
Tamara Judge
It was so good. But between. Between getting kicked out and throwing things and kicking things, she's. It's a very violent season for Angie right now. But the scene with Mary was. It was heartwarming. I mean, Mary hasn't really. I mean, you compare Mary to last season, who was like, different human being sitting over there by herself, not engaging, and now she's really opening up. I think you can really see, like, a Mary that is sad, that needs help, that needs friends and being authentic.
Teddi Mellencamp
But before we get to that, we get. Meredith's daughter said that the part that sent her was when Sean said that Meredith should listen to both sides.
Tamara Judge
Well, that's absolutely the truth. Because I'm like, maybe if you listen to both sides, you would have known the truth.
Teddi Mellencamp
And also, if you're that focused on your Bat Mitzvah, why are. In front of all of your friends and family, why are you screaming that loudly? Well, then Meredith says she doesn't care about both sides because Sean and Angie constantly lie and gaslight her. Between Sean's comments about Brooks to Angie's comments about Meredith's hearings, hearing aids. I really, I think, you know, like, on Instagram, when you can block a comment or something. Like, I think Housewives producers should block the word gaslight. Like, anytime a housewife says it, it goes like. Yeah, because it's not used correctly. And it's just every franchise.
Tamara Judge
Every franchise is using it. It's like the word of the moment.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. You know, then Mary lets herself into Angie's house. Nobody opened the door for her. Angie said she wasn't finished being ready for Mary yet. And then Mary said she had a rough day. She tells Angie that she noticed Robert Jr. Wasn't acting the same when they sat down to have the conversation. He admitted to taking heroin and pills and acid. And it just was a lot, and it's really sad. And then Mary said she feels responsible because if she doesn't blame herself, then whose fault is it?
Tamara Judge
Well, I could see that as a parent, you're going to blame yourself if you miss something that big. I mean, when your child says they're on heroin and acid and Xanax and all these things, that would be a tough pill to swallow. You know, I always worry about my kids when they're going through the teenage era because you'll. You'll. You haven't gotten there yet, really. But they just want to be in the room, and they want to either game or they just don't want to be bothered. And it's like, what is going on in there? I've always like, are you sure you're okay? You're spending a lot of time in your room. But I think back, I did the same thing. Yeah, I need you. I get just like, leave me alone. Parents. I. You know, I want to be by myself. So you would feel a little. A lot guilty.
Teddi Mellencamp
But I think that's. I mean, no matter what the issue is with your kids, when you see them struggling, that pain is so hard.
Tamara Judge
Well, Mary was there to talk and not eat because she said, the food looks good, but I'm not eating it.
Teddi Mellencamp
What?
Tamara Judge
Mary. Mary was there to talk and not eat because when the cheese board came out, she's all, that looks good, but I'm not eating it.
Teddi Mellencamp
She's like, I'm sorry. I.
Tamara Judge
She's so blunt.
Teddi Mellencamp
But I just.
Tamara Judge
Cause I'll have some of that champagne. I just don't know how to open it.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, my gosh. And then them trying to pour it. And then Mary's like, hold on, let me help you. Like, why are you pouring? It's like when somebody, like, pours beer from a keg and they just hold the beer like this.
Tamara Judge
Oh, yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
It splits everywhere.

Teddi Mellencamp
But I thought it was smart and also, like, intuitive to have this conversation with Angie because of Angie's mother.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, I know. Well, it kind of, like, made sense. I thought the same thing. But do you think Angie will keep her promise to Mary and not tell anybody about her situation with Robert Jr. Or is she going to blow it?
Teddi Mellencamp
I. I think she will. I can't. I mean, if she doesn't, it's going to show a really different side to Angie. I mean, I think Angie may be reactive and act out in some ways when, you know, she's upset or she feels like she's been wronged. But I think if you've dealt with something like addiction in your own family and you saw how much harm it's caused towards you, if she uses it against Mary, no matter what the hell Mary does, I really hope she doesn't, because it felt like a really genuine conversation. And I thought Angie was being a good friend to her. Like, there's actually nothing you could do what you are.
Tamara Judge
Do you think Angie is her closest friend in that group or because Angie's mom went through addiction, production decided to put them together?
Teddi Mellencamp
I think she's the closest friend in the group. I mean, even when we saw, like, the pictures from Kathy Hilton's Christmas party the other night, and she was there with Mary, and that was the same last year, they sat next to each other at the reunion as well. So I think they have a true friendship.
Tamara Judge
You don't get to pick. You don't get to pick where you sit at the reunion. No, no.
Teddi Mellencamp
I'm saying that if you're being sat next to someone most of the time, it means you're getting along with them. You know, it's heartbreaking. And you can see that Mary is not playing it up from the cameras. Like, sometimes you see housewives cry and you're like, that. You're not crying? No.
Tamara Judge
Like, no, no, no. She's crying.
Teddi Mellencamp
It's really, really sad. I mean, I guess they have come a long way from when Mary said, who's Angie?
Tamara Judge
Yeah, well, I mean, Mary wasn't. She didn't warm up to anybody, really.
Teddi Mellencamp
Back then, but I think she has now. And I think she made a really good point in her confessional. She's like, I don't have my mom. I don't have my grandma. I don't have.
Tamara Judge
I know. It's so sad, so heartbreaking. Did and have we found out. Is she still with her husband or did they separate?
Teddi Mellencamp
I think they're still together.
Tamara Judge
I know he doesn't film. He doesn't want to, but there was some words going around that they separated.
Teddi Mellencamp
She said on watch what happens live.
Tamara Judge
Okay. Oh, that's good.
Teddi Mellencamp
That's good. But I, you know, of course she's going to want to lean on her friend and her friend that actually has experience with this. And I really hope.
Tamara Judge
I hope he's doing okay.
Teddi Mellencamp
That he's doing okay. And I hope that she's doing okay and that she really does know. Like, she's helping so many people right now by sharing and not.
Tamara Judge
She's got a little. She got a little backlash about it. You know, people said that they didn't think that she should be sharing it, but I disagree with that.
Teddi Mellencamp
I think there's certain things clearly that are off limits, but I think there's two different levels to this. Not only was it clear to the audience that something was wrong, that something was wrong.
Tamara Judge
If he was a minor, I would say, no, I would not share that on national tv.
Teddi Mellencamp
But this may also be something for him later in life, you know, like, if, you know, hopefully when he is clean and sober and doing well, like, now that it's out there in that, like, there's like another level of, like, I hate to, because people love to throw this in my face, but certain level of accountability now.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
You know, it's not a hidden secret that they're trying to protect.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, but sometimes people want it to be a secret. Like, I've known people that have gone through rehab and they didn't want anybody to know, but I thought that Mary.
Teddi Mellencamp
Handled it differently than how Mia is handling her situation on Potomac.
Tamara Judge
Oh, you think? Yeah, like throwing him under the bus and running him over and then over again and backing up and going forward.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, I mean, a lot. Then they get to the airport and the ladies ask if Bronwyn is okay. I'm. When they ask if Bronwyn's okay, and she says she's bit by a dog, I thought it was going to be like a tiny.
Tamara Judge
This woman was mauled by a dog. And we're just now seeing it or hearing about it, those wounds were like a week old. And so why. Why did production not go film with her after this happened?
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, she's like, they. I had to take the stitches out early so I could enjoy the water. I was like. But when they showed her leg and her arm, I was like, holy shit. This isn't like a housewife injury. Like, you were really out of you.
Tamara Judge
The thing. I. I'm a little bit afraid of dogs. If that happened to me, I would be traumatized. Yeah, traumatized.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, she said, you know, she said she took her dog to the dog park and someone left their dog unattended. The dog bit her from behind on her calf, and when she leaned forward, the dog bit her arm too. And she wasn't exaggerating because we.
Tamara Judge
Oh, my God. It was gnar. What else was gnarly?
Teddi Mellencamp
What?
Tamara Judge
The fact that Heather peed on the seat in the inside the plane and left the pee on the toilet seat is so disgusting. Like, you.
Teddi Mellencamp
Hold on, I missed this part. What?
Tamara Judge
Yeah. Meredith goes, oh, my God, the toilet in the plane was gross. There's pee on the toilet seat. And Heather goes, yeah, that was me. I hit turbulence. And I'm like, really?
Teddi Mellencamp
You didn't wipe it off?
Tamara Judge
You didn't wipe it off? Like that shows a character flaw. Like, you have zero consideration for others.
Teddi Mellencamp
Zero, that is.
Tamara Judge
I hope she was joking. I really hope she was joking because that is really gross.
Teddi Mellencamp
She had to have been joking.
Tamara Judge
She didn't sound like she was joking, but she could, I'm hoping, because I would hate to think that she has zero self awareness like that. Like, hello, other people are gonna.
Teddi Mellencamp
She had to have been joking. We have to believe that she was joking.
Tamara Judge
Well, I need to know, were you joking?
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, let us know. Heather, were you joking or did you really leave pee all over the seat? Then we get to Mexico and Lisa split the villas up. Villa one, Meredith, Heather, Lisa and Britney. And then villa two is Bronwyn, Angie, Whitney and Mary. We can see that Bronwyn is really upset about this rooming situation because Lisa is her closest friend and felt like it was a message. Did you feel like it was a message?
Tamara Judge
No, I didn' People have to understand, and the cast clearly understands that sometimes production wants to split you guys up. So there's a different dynamic. If they have the same besties hanging in the same room all the time doesn't make for good tv. So they want to split it up a little bit. So I didn't think there was anything wrong with it. I think the only thing I think I could have find wrong with it is I think that's the same place in Puerto Vallarta that I broke my foot.
Teddi Mellencamp
No, I jumped into.
Tamara Judge
I think that might be the same. The trip makes me miss not breaking my foot, but just being a Puerto Vallarta. But that Lizzie girl that greeted them in the hotel, the greeter with the drinks was the same one that greeted us last year in Cancun.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, my God.
Tamara Judge
She does PR for a bunch of the hotels in Mexico. I'm like, hey, I remember her.
Teddi Mellencamp
Like, I know you then.
Tamara Judge
And I might be mistaken, but it looked just like her. I don't know.
Teddi Mellencamp
Then Angie goes into Whitney's room, and they talk about Bronwyn staying in their villa. Angie and Whitney ask Bronwyn why she thought she was kicked out of the cool girl club. Bronwyn is both in mental and physical pain, is upset by Lisa's decision on rooming, seeing as Lisa is supposed to be her closest friend. And Lisa's room. She and Meredith discuss how Bronwyn gets upset at Lisa over everything. Lisa is pissed because she told Bronwyn not to bring gifts. But she did bring the gifts. Stop being so petty.
Tamara Judge
That's nice, but there's nothing worse than talking about somebody and then they come into the room. You're all, oh, hi, Bronwyn.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, but Meredith said she doesn't vibe with Angie because she says mean things to people. Okay, this is where an edit can get you. If they wouldn't have shown a little quick flashback to where Lisa is on the phone with Bronwyn, maybe we would think that Lisa is overreacting the gift thing. But since she did get to see the conversation, it's like, I kind of see Lisa's point a little bit.
Tamara Judge
Like, are you trying to. I don't.
Teddi Mellencamp
I mean, a gift is a gift.
Tamara Judge
A gift is a gift. Heather Dubrow, even if she throws the party or, I mean, throws the trip or whatever, she will always bring us a little gift. That's just her thing. We always know Heather's gonna bring us.
Teddi Mellencamp
A gift, even if she doesn't throw the trip.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, sometimes she does.
Teddi Mellencamp
I need to get a gift, regardless. Steal my thunder all you want.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, it does. I mean, bring me the gift. I don't care.
Teddi Mellencamp
Send me the Kara style shampoo and conditioner.
Tamara Judge
Well, those. Those. They're like a hundred dollars a bottle. Like, yeah, Angie, Angie gifted those bottles to us. Remember when we first met?
Teddi Mellencamp
Angie? I'm out. So, you know, so I don't have.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, we're more than happy to have Meredith's bottles of shampoo.
Teddi Mellencamp
But next time, can you send the thing that you go like this on so that I can get the shampoo and conditioner out.
Tamara Judge
I got the pump.
Teddi Mellencamp
You did?
Tamara Judge
You probably just forgot to put it in there. But I just think that Lisa making a big develop problems gift is just stupid.
Teddi Mellencamp
I, I mean I didn't personally care, but I.
Tamara Judge
She knows I can't use sulfate in my hair. I'm dead. Meredith is so petty. Just say thank you and give the 200 bottles of shampoo to your daughter. Don't give her back. It's like giving the bunny back. Don't give it back.
Teddi Mellencamp
Just keep the shit. Or give it to re gift it. Re gift it. But I think this goes to show. Like Lisa's saying that Bronwyn gets upset about everything. But clearly Lisa also gets upset about everything because she cares about this frickin journal gift or whatever it was. The sparkly little notebook.
Tamara Judge
Oh yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
Then the ladies, we have, we have another.
Tamara Judge
Covers a little sponsored post.
Teddi Mellencamp
I want the gift even more because it was a passport cover. I need one of those.
Tamara Judge
I know, Send that. One of those.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, Brown would give us one. Then the ladies sip. Of course. Vita tequila. Drinks before dinner.
Tamara Judge
Oh my God. Here's some drinks. They're made up. Vita Tequila.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, you have these ready for me? But hold on, hold on. I have an announcement. I have an announcement. I brushed my teeth this morning.
Tamara Judge
Oh, that's good because I did not. I just barely got up. But Britney announcing her daughter, she spoke to her daughter, is a big deal. I get it if anybody gets it, but nobody cared. I mean that really says a lot. But I think that she just chose her moment like at the wrong time. Like honestly, she should have had that convo with somebody she's close to. A one on one conversation. Not like, hi, I have an announcement. It was like she was too eager to get it out. It was just so awkward.
Teddi Mellencamp
But she does that every time. But. And that's why I think if she just authentically let these conversations happen when it comes. Like if somebody were to ask her like, how are you doing? And she's like, you know, I'm actually really happy right now.
Tamara Judge
Because you know why, Teddy? No one gives a. Nobody's asking her, how are you, Britney? She is like, I feel like she's such an outsider. Like everyone's like, oh, there's Britney. Yeah, I'm not seeing her mesh very well.
Teddi Mellencamp
Lisa took one for the team. Having her in her villa, in my opinion.
Tamara Judge
Well yeah, but then Brittany's like, she likes me better. That's why I'm in Lisa's room. I'm like, no, Brittany, it Was strategic.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, Bronwyn shares with Lisa and the group that she was surprised by the room situation. She and Lisa argue with Bronwyn saying Lisa doesn't listen to her feelings. Lisa was relatively quiet and listening for Lisa. I would say, yeah, okay. But she was still missing the point. I don't think Bronwyn was complaining about how her room aesthetically looked.
Tamara Judge
Bronwyn was a little insufferable on this episode.
Teddi Mellencamp
She was.
Tamara Judge
I mean, I'm here for it. I think she's a great newbie. I've never seen a newbie this engaged in years.
Teddi Mellencamp
No. Then Bronwyn says that Lisa insinuates that Bronwyn is snobby. And then the fight continues. I love a fight that continues as they leave drinks and walk to dinner. Like, they can't even stop it. They're like, no, no, hold on. I. One more thing.
Tamara Judge
One more, one more.
Teddi Mellencamp
Hold. Yes, we're checking in for our seats, but let's have. We're still fighting, if you don't mind. And productions, like, run behind them. Like, it's pretty good then, you know, I feel. I feel like I wish Monica was there at this point also.
Tamara Judge
I know Monica would have fit in. And she was a great housewife, too. I'm hoping that she comes back.
Teddi Mellencamp
Then they get to dinner. Angie arrives to a Brooks Marks bag on her seat, which Meredith had placed there to give back the gifts Angie brought to the wedding.
Tamara Judge
But wasn't it weird that everybody sat down and then Angie was the last one to sit down and she sat down where the bag is. Like, did somebody tell her that's your seat right there. You got to sit right there.
Teddi Mellencamp
Don't you think we're always put in seats. Very rarely is it, like, just pick your own seats. And then Angie is. You could tell she's, like, immediately offended.
Tamara Judge
Oh, you mean by the way she threw it?
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, I mean, that comes later. But Meredith says she asked for the gifts back. And then Angie said, that's not what she said. And then they go back and forth and we see the clip clips of the times they said, that's not what I said. That's what I said. But I didn't appreciate that we didn't get a flashback to what she did.
Tamara Judge
Say, because I remember. What did you say? Who said that? I said that. You said that. I'm like, oh, my God. Shut up, you guys. Who said what?
Teddi Mellencamp
But then Britney. Britney interjects into the argument saying she's the reason Angie got kicked out because Angie. Slut. Shamed. Her. Angie tells Britney to take the shampoo because her hair is fried and it looks like shit and tosses the bag at her upside down, causes the shampoo to crash on the table. Then she's like, quit being a wussy. I didn't realize the bag was upside down and was going to fall on the ground. I'm like, yeah, yeah, okay.
Tamara Judge
I mean, Angie knows how to fight. I'm going to give her that. Like she this girl. Like, I would be afraid to get her upset.
Teddi Mellencamp
It was giving Tamara throwing a napkin.
Tamara Judge
But there was two. Yeah. With five pound bottles of shampoo. Yeah. Can you imagine if that would have hit her in the head?
Teddi Mellencamp
No. We'd be in a whole Atlanta of a situation. But this is where I kind of forgot and I had to go back and into my notes and into the world wide. We.

Teddi Mellencamp
And t connecting changes everything. Britney used the word slut before anybody else.
Tamara Judge
Yes, they showed the flashback.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. And like, we love the slut. Own it, baby.
Tamara Judge
Own it. Own it.
Teddi Mellencamp
But Britney says this is a whole new low for Angie. Angie says she didn't know the bag was upside down, that she's a drama queen, and then they get back and forth into this slut shaming conversation, which I don't necessarily like. When they showed the flashbacks of Britney, like showing her crotch's underwear or showing the flower card from the other guy or whatever it was, it was like she was bragging about her sexcapades. And then now all of a sudden, after she called somebody else a slut, it's very convenient.
Tamara Judge
Well, thank God for Bronwyn for breaking down the timeline of events. Because if it wasn't for her, I mean, Bronwyn is. The way she speaks sometimes is starting to feel like the Wicked Witch of the east or west or wherever Salt Lake City is. And you know what? I'm here for it.
Teddi Mellencamp
No, well, first this happened, and then I speed it up. I was like, thank you. I appreciate that, because I didn't fully remember, but I also, you know, Meredith starts to get involved there. Then she's screaming at Angie. Bronwyn screaming. Everyone's going. And then I think at one point, production must have been like, hey, Heather, you're filming. You know, she's got that text like, are you. You better do.
Tamara Judge
What about Whitney?
Teddi Mellencamp
I. Whitney, please.
Tamara Judge
Whitney's kind of just fallen off the radar.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, we saw on a Instagram today that, you know, supposedly things are going askew in her life, and she's hoping to keep her snowflake. Because also, we have to remember Whitney's fourth seat at the reunion this year.
Tamara Judge
Well, I don't always believe those things you read. They're talking about her marriage. There's a outlet out there that is AI generated and overseas, and they're doing the same thing to me, saying that I'm getting divorced. Eddie has a gambling addiction that were $1.5 million in debt, and I had to borrow $2 million from Alexis, where Alexis pulled $2 million out of her ass. I don't know. But we're good.
Teddi Mellencamp
Can Alexis give me $2 million?
Tamara Judge
Right? I mean, does she have $2 million? But the thing is, it's like, it's. And then I was talking to Emily about it. She goes, oh, that outlet did the same thing to me. Said the exact same story. Just changed the names to, you know, hers and Shane's. Alexis wouldn't give you two dollars, to be honest. But it's so. I don't always believe that stuff. Like, my mom is getting all riled about this. It's only. I think it's on Facebook, and it's an outlet that I've never heard. I've sent it to. I sent it to Dave Quinn. I'm like, have you heard of this? He's like, no, it doesn't seem real. Then I asked my friend at the Daily Mail. I'm like, have you heard of this? He's like, no, it's fake. It's like AI Generator.
Teddi Mellencamp
I mean, there's so much bullshit about people's marriages, and I really don't Think that anyone over their marriage first, or.
Tamara Judge
I'm like, I don't have anything to worry about with Eddie, the only thing I have to worry about is if he dies, because I don't know how I can live without him. That's it.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, is that you being romantic?
Tamara Judge
I guess as romantic as I get, but. Oh, and he has a love child, too.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, he does?
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
With me.
Tamara Judge
Yes. Yes. But then Kaden's the love child.
Teddi Mellencamp
Oh, God, Kaden. Not Kaden. Then the dinner ends with Meredith and Angie coming together and saying they don't want to fight this. This kind of felt like a real. Maybe Angie was just so exhausted. She was like, I got it. Just.
Tamara Judge
Well, that I. Yeah, I believe that she was. I mean, being thrown out and everybody, like, just looking at her as she walks out, that is humiliating. And then you go home and you're like, how do I film a show with these girls when I just got thrown out and nobody's on my side? Like, that's rough.
Teddi Mellencamp
But I do think the only thing that made Meredith listen that Britney had called Angie a slut first was when Heather finally stepped up and started talking. Yeah. But because Lisa was still on the other side. Like, Lisa was.
Tamara Judge
Shame on Meredith. Shame on Meredith. That made this big ordeal at her bat mitzvah when she didn't even know all the facts. And Sean was right. Maybe she should have known all the facts before she got her security guards that were strategically placed there because somebody.
Teddi Mellencamp
Else could use the line for from last season. I mean, I think she let the fact that she doesn't like Angie get in the way of logical thinking in this moment. But I can say this fight was petty perfection, like fighting over shampoo. You couldn't have a housewife's dinner under better conditions. Like, this was amazing.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
Can we talk about scenes for next week?
Tamara Judge
Can I Wait. Can I say something, though? Do you find. We see Bronwyn being what looks like allegedly very controlled by her older husband.
Teddi Mellencamp
Right.
Tamara Judge
Do you think she tries to throw her weight around with these ladies because she doesn't have that control at home?
Teddi Mellencamp
I think. I think that could be. I mean, I think if you. If somebody's talking and I'm. I don't know.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, That's. I just suspect.
Teddi Mellencamp
Just if somebody is treating you less than at home and you feel like you don't have a voice.
Tamara Judge
Right. And then you go and try to push your weight around because he seems very surprised to see her act that way. Like, how are you?
Teddi Mellencamp
What about the scenes for next week when she's like, you don't know about the infidelity.
Tamara Judge
Yeah. I'm like, I bring it. I want to hear it.
Teddi Mellencamp
And I was like, todd.
Tamara Judge
Todd cheating.
Teddi Mellencamp
No, I mean, Todd must have, like, a lifetime prescription for Val. What is it, cows? No, what is it? Where it gets your wiener hard.
Tamara Judge
Oh, the blue pill. What's that called?
Teddi Mellencamp
I almost said Valtrex, but I think that's for herpes. Viagra.
Tamara Judge
Viagra. Viagra.
Teddi Mellencamp
Maybe it could be Bronwyn cheating. We don't know which way they. It could be either.
Tamara Judge
I don't think he would put up with Brahman if she cheated on him.
Teddi Mellencamp
I don't know either, but she's given us a little nugget every single. Even when she's being insufferable, at least she's giving us timelines, screenshots.
Tamara Judge
Yeah.
Teddi Mellencamp
And she doesn't exaggerate about it.
Tamara Judge
You know what? She's still in the show is what she's doing. You know, last year it was a lot of Whitney and Heather, and this year they've really taken a back seat.
Teddi Mellencamp
Who.
Tamara Judge
Who was first seats at the reunion.
Teddi Mellencamp
Last year was Monica.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, it was Monica. Well, Monica and Heather. But who. Who's. It's.
Teddi Mellencamp
It's gotta be Angie.
Tamara Judge
Lisa and Angie.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, I mean, Angie center snowflake, but.
Tamara Judge
And Bronwyn was third seat, which is rare for a newbie. They're usually last because they usually don't engage as much as the seasoned ones.
Teddi Mellencamp
Just to kind of close this out for a second. Did you watch? What? Watch what happens live last night or see the clips?
Tamara Judge
No, Britney, I didn't watch.
Teddi Mellencamp
She's like, metamorphosed into a different human being since the show. Britney has, yes, looked like a completely different person.
Tamara Judge
Well, that. That tends to happen on Housewives. We got it. We got one on our show that's totally transformed themselves into me.
Teddi Mellencamp
Well, here's the thing. I would say all of us have done some transformations throughout the years, but this is a quick turnaround for a completely different.
Tamara Judge
Like, I have to go look. I'm sure there's clips on Watch Hoppins Lives.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. So who. Who knows?
Tamara Judge
But she had a. She's got a half a season glow up his wishes. God, not even last season.
Teddi Mellencamp
I am loving it. I'm loving that there hasn't been a filler episode so far of Salt Lake City like that.
Tamara Judge
Yeah, they're doing it right.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah. So stay tuned.
Tamara Judge
I remember the day that they were announced at BravoCon. We all went, oh, God, that's going to be horrible.
Teddi Mellencamp
And now it's our favorite.
Tamara Judge
I know. And now it's one of the top shows.
Teddi Mellencamp
New York's had a filler season, so.
Tamara Judge
I mean, and then there's that. What do you think they're gonna do? You think they're gonna recast the show?
Teddi Mellencamp
Not totally recast, but they gotta switch things around. They gotta do something.
Tamara Judge
I'm not disagreeing. I'm not disagreeing, but every time Andy talks about the show, he's talking about it like it's one of his favorites.
Teddi Mellencamp
And they're doing great and he's good at that.
Tamara Judge
I know he gets shit for. Yeah doing that.
Teddi Mellencamp
But thanks for listening to another episode of Two T's in a Pod. And yeah, thank you, Salt Lake City, for giving us the most. I texted Angie this morning to see if she's at the same horse show, because normally she is.
Tamara Judge
So is she.
Teddi Mellencamp
Yeah, I'm hoping I see her in her ginormous sunglasses.

Two Ts In A Pod with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge
Episode: What Ho Is Missing? (RHOSLC Recap)
Release Date: December 13, 2024
In the "What Ho Is Missing? (RHOSLC Recap)" episode of Two Ts In A Pod with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge, hosts Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge delve deep into the latest happenings of "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" (RHOSLC) Season Five. Their dynamic conversation offers insightful analyses, humorous takes, and candid opinions on the intricate relationships and dramatic events unfolding in the Salt Lake City housewife community.
Teddi and Tamra kick off the episode expressing their enthusiasm for Season Five, noting how it surpasses their initial expectations. Teddi remarks, "It’s been on six and a half years. Like I've aged. I'm like the lady from Titanic watching. Oh, my God." ([05:16])
The hosts commend the production team's efforts in enhancing the show's quality. Tamra points out, "They’re smelling scents. And I'm like, oh my God, this production company is absolutely amazing." ([05:35]) They appreciate how promotions subtly integrate the cast members' businesses, albeit humorously lamenting their own struggles to feature personal brands without them being blurred out.
One of the central conflicts discussed involves Meredith slamming Angie for allegedly slut-shaming Britney. Teddi summarizes Meredith's stance: "Meredith said that Angie continuously hits below the belt." ([07:00]) Tamra counters by questioning, "Is slut shaming really that mean? I mean, getting laid all the time, is that really a bad thing?" ([08:07])
The hosts delve into the evolving friendship between Angie and Mary. Teddi observes, "Mary hasn't really…she’s really opening up. I think you can really see, like, a Mary that is sad, that needs help." ([09:04]) They discuss how Mary’s vulnerability contrasts with her usual reserved demeanor, highlighting her need for authentic connections.
Bronwyn's struggles are a focal point, with Teddi and Tamra exploring her mental and physical pain. Tamra speculates, "Do you think she tries to throw her weight around with these ladies because she doesn't have that control at home?" ([41:30]) The conversation touches on Bronwyn's possible coping mechanisms stemming from her tumultuous home life, including issues with her husband and alleged infidelity.
The hosts note Whitney's reduced involvement in Season Five, referencing rumors and clarifying misinformation: "There's an outlet out there that is AI generated and overseas, and they're doing the same thing to me." ([38:13]) They emphasize the importance of discerning fact from fiction in the age of misinformation.
Teddi Mellencamp:
"I have a trivia question for you. Can you name Meredith's caviar brand?" ([06:36])
Tamra Judge:
"Do you think Angie will keep her promise to Mary and not tell anybody about her situation with Robert Jr. Or is she going to blow it?" ([16:39])
Teddi Mellencamp:
"It's like when somebody pours beer from a keg and they just hold the beer like this. It splits everywhere." ([12:08])
Tamra Judge:
"I hope she was joking, because that is really gross." ([22:33])
These quotes encapsulate the hosts' blend of humor and critical analysis, providing listeners with memorable takeaways and a deeper understanding of the show's dynamics.
Teddi criticizes Meredith's handling of conflicts, suggesting that her biases cloud her judgment: "She let the fact that she doesn't like Angie get in the way of logical thinking in this moment." ([40:54]) The hosts debate whether Meredith’s actions are justified or if they stem from personal vendettas, impacting the group's harmony.
Despite being frequently kicked out of events, Angie remains a central figure. Tamra admires her tenacity, stating, "I love her because even though she may be getting kicked out of a lot of events, her scene with Mary was so good." ([08:56]) Teddi adds, "Angie knows how to fight. I'm going to give her that." ([31:55])
Mary's openness about her struggles contrasts with her previous guarded nature. Teddi highlights, "Mary was there to talk and not eat because she said the food looks good, but I'm not eating it." ([12:21]) This vulnerability adds depth to her character, making her more relatable and empathetic to the audience.
Bronwyn's aggressive behavior is interpreted as a coping mechanism for her troubled home life. Tamra suggests, "Do you think she tries to throw her weight around with these ladies because she doesn't have that control at home?" ([41:30]) Teddi concurs, acknowledging the complexity of Bronwyn's character and her actions.
Throughout the episode, Teddi and Tamra infuse humor into their discussions, making the recap entertaining. For example, Teddi jokes about the overuse of certain terms by the show's cast: "I think Housewives producers should block the word gaslight." ([10:43]) Their playful banter keeps the conversation lively and engaging, ensuring listeners are both informed and entertained.
Teddi and Tamra wrap up the episode by expressing their excitement for future episodes and their appreciation for RHOSLC's growth. Teddi remarks, "And now it's one of the top shows." ([44:47]) Tamra adds, "We got one on our show that's totally transformed themselves into me." ([44:40]) Their genuine enthusiasm underscores their deep engagement with the show and their commitment to providing insightful recaps.
Production Enhancements: The RHOSLC production team has significantly improved the show's quality, integrating subtle promotions and high production values that enhance viewer engagement.
Character Evolutions: Personal growth and conflicts among the housewives, especially between Angie, Mary, Meredith, and Bronwyn, drive the season's drama and viewer interest.
Thematic Depth: Issues like slut-shaming, addiction, and interpersonal conflicts add layers of complexity to the narrative, allowing for rich discussions and analyses.
Hosts' Perspective: Teddi and Tamra offer a balanced mix of humor, critical insight, and empathy, making their recaps both enjoyable and informative.
Listeners of Two Ts In A Pod can expect a comprehensive and entertaining breakdown of RHOSLC Season Five, enriched with personal opinions, memorable quotes, and a deep dive into the show's most compelling moments.
