But. And I saw that Kyle and Rachel.

And Dorit were living it up in.

Yeah. It feels like a long time, though.

Yeah. I don't know why.

I think because a lot of things are happening.

A lot of things are happening, even though it's at the same location. But Heather's party continues. Jen and Gretchen go sit with Katie on the ottoman. They say that the drama only came to the group because of Tamara. Katie grabs her husband Matt, and leaves.

[Erika Jayne]

No, I think that Katie brought the drama. I think that that's not fair. There's enough drama. These women bring enough drama to go around. So that's working. We're not gonna blame it all on one person. This is a group effort. It's an ensemble show, and everybody does their part.

[Tamara Judge]

I'm confused about the food at this party, because why was it just grilled cheese, popcorn, and a weed bar?

[Erika Jayne]

By the way, Terry Dubrow stole this entire episode for me. He was so high or lit or whatever. Terry, if you'. If you're looking or listening, you were adorable. And I think I want to see more. Hi, Dr. Dubrow. Because he's adorable.

When he lost his pot, it was so good.

It was so good. So good. Terry, you're killing it. And I think it's adorable.

And so this all happens. She's upset. Gretchen is already kind of having a moment trying to figure out who Tamara's bringing.

Well, I think it's so obvious.

It's so obvious that that's who she's bringing. And also, who cares? Would you care?

No. Isn't that kind of ancient history?

Ancient history. And, like, yeah, I think it's moved on.

But I also didn't get, like, terrible vibes from Jo. I didn't get.

Jo is, like, a nice girl.

I didn't get. I didn't get, like, she wasn't coming in hot. No, not at all. I don't think there was anything. I could see why, you know, you'd be hesitant, but at the same time, Joe was just really nice, so there wasn't anything to be that upset about.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah. And I don't think she's pining over Slade.

[Erika Jayne]

No. I think everybody's Moved on. And rightfully so. You know what I mean?

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah. Well, Tamara and Joe walk in, and before they even get into the venue.

Ooh, in the parking lot, honey.

They go for it in the parking lot. What did you think about this scene again?

[Erika Jayne]

And I've said this before, I don't like it when husbands are involved. I just don't. I just don't. Let the girls work it out. It's a show about women. Go home and bitch to your husband, but don't have your husband stick up for you. You're a big girl. You can do it on your own.

But also, she says things like, the only person I showed was Matt. I have to say, like, back when Edwin and I were doing the show, the last thing that he cared about was the gossip between me and the other women. Like, I wouldn't even rush home to be like, hey, let me show you.

Tom didn't even know what show I was on or cared and certainly was not interested in anything I had to say about this experience.

[Tamara Judge]

No. So why are you showing him stuff from bloggers? You're too involved. And I didn't.

Like, again, here we go with the bloggers. I'm telling you, you're making a mistake, but go ahead.

But I thought that his tone was kind of. It's not yelling, but it's that condescending like.

Like we've seen before.

We discussed what you and I experienced with Denise's Aaron. Yeah, we discussed that.

I always kind of felt it's the same thing. Like, don't. What is it? Mansplain. Me?

Yeah, don't mansplain. And also, too, like, your wife got herself into this. She can get herself out of it.

Well, that. This is what Tom used to tell me. You get yourself into some shit like this, you talk yourself out of it. Like, that's on you.

Yeah. You got to figure it out.

But then Tamara and Joe walk into the party. Jean and Emily reach for popcorn. Those two are like. So is it kitschy?

Yeah, yeah, they are kitschy, but they also are, like. I'm sure many people in the audience reached for the popcorn, too.

So I think they're reflecting what I would have liked. I would have reached for.

Right. I think they're reflecting what people see.

Then Jen and Gretchen say Tamara knew exactly what she was doing in bringing Joe.

Oh, my God. Revelation. You're kidding.

But even exactly what she was doing. What'd she do? Those two got along better than half the other people at the party.

If they're. Hey, here's the thing. Anything goes in these shows, so anybody can come out at any time. I mean, we've seen people pop out for a decade at least. I have. So whatever happens, happens.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah. I thought Tamra bringing Joe was a fun housewife move. I wish Joe would've brought a little bit more. But she was just going for fun. She was just going for fun.

[Erika Jayne]

I don't. I thought Jo did exactly what she should have done, which was show up and be nice and not get in. Do you know what I mean? Like, maybe we bring her back and see what's going on or if she has something else to say. But I like a soft entrance on something like that, because you don't overplay it.

Yeah. Remember when Camille came in and was, like, so hot and heavy, like, I think it was last season on Beverly Hills.

Yes, I do. And you didn't even see the heaviest.

Of it because they knew it was too much.

Yeah, it looks forced. And I think the thing is gross. Yeah, it just looks forced. I mean. And also, the audience is sophisticated enough to go, here we go again.

Yeah, here we go again. Then Jen goes over to Tamara and asked to talk, but at another time about everything. Tamara says yes, but doesn't know what they have to talk about. Why do people have to pre prep talking?

Because it helps the story move along. You know, I think we should talk. You know? Come on.

I know, but like, we got. Just this will suffice. We gotta talk. Just not here. Yeah, but like a sit down. We gotta talk, but not now. Well, okay.

Sick of these Instagram teeth. I'm sick of it too. And I'm also. I think having lowers is difficult. I mean, I only have. I have four veneers because I broke my teeth out in the eighth grade.

Yeah.

But I can't imagine having a full. You don't have any?

[Erika Jayne]

No. These are all my teeth and I never wore braces, bitch. But I probably. I was thinking, like, you know, every time I go into my dentist's office, I'm like, do I? They're like, erica, you have. No, your mouth is fine.

Yeah. You have a beautifully set mouth. There's no need.

There's not. Yeah.

If you have good teeth. Like, I wouldn't have ever noticed that those two needed lowers. And veneers are expensive. Unless they're getting this for free on Twitter.

Well, it's clearly Instagram teeth. I think that done properly, veneers, like, when they're porcelain, beautiful porcelain veneers can be really well done. They're really well done. Really good on men.

It's a little dicey for me.

Yeah. I think the sizing and the coloring is where you get. It can get hooked up. It can change the whole shape of your mouth.

But I kind of feel the same way about men when they get, like, filler.

I don't want. Yeah. I don't like plastic surgery on men, and I'll tell you why. I just. I don't know. I just don't like it.

Oh. Then we get to Tamara and Jen meet for dinner. Jen asked Tamara where it all went wrong, and Tamara says it was last year at Katie's house. She admits she went off on Ryan But Ryan called Eddie a bitch. He's not that innocent. Then. Yeah, I mean, not great.

I mean, this wasn't, I don't know. Look, I think if, I think Tamara's. This is too simple for Tamara. I think it goes somewhere else for her. I think that Tamara. There's something else there. I just don't think it's that simple as Ryan called Eddie a bitch.

I think it's a long time back and forth. But I don't know if I saw in this episode or if I saw on like a watch what happens live about the hair.

[Erika Jayne]

Oh, the putting in the clip ons.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah. How I needed to know it was clip ons. I needed to know that.

Yeah, she had thrown her clip. Well, did she borrow the clip ins from the.

They went to the same hair person.

Right. So what I'm saying is that that hair person, they're not Tamara's clip ins. They must have been the hair person's clip ins.

Yeah.

And that Tamara wore.

Jen for sure watched. She was definitely. Because remember, at some point her and Tam were, you know, she was showing up to all Tam's things. They were friends.

Yeah, that's. What did she, I don't know her background. She watched. She watched. So she was around that friend group and then. Okay, all right.

Yes. I don't know that she was around.

[Erika Jayne]

That friend group, but she watched the show for sure. Okay.

[Tamara Judge]

But then, you know, they go on and on. Jen says Tamara put out allegations that are home with her children was raided. Tamara says Jen can say whatever she wants. And then someone else says something like, it's not okay. Then Tamara says, I don't know who the fuck you think you are and who you're not meaning above her. Above her. Remember, she's like, I'm above her.

Who said that?

[Tamara Judge]

Jen said to Heather, why are you friends with her?

[Erika Jayne]

Oh, that's right. That's right. Yeah, that's right.

[Tamara Judge]

Then they get into the eviction pretty much.

[Erika Jayne]

Well, look, here's the thing. Look, Jen does have some, she has a point here saying, you know, saying, talking about the eviction, talking about the FBI. Of course, Jen's Feelings are going to get hurt, no doubt. And Tamara knows how to hurt feelings. She's a world class feelings hurter. You know, she's just, I want to.

[Tamara Judge]

Be a world class feelings.

[Erika Jayne]

You know what I mean? She's a world class feelings hurter. And I get it. But you know, if you, you know. And then Jen says Tamara is sick and asks her how her therapy is going. So they're giving it to her back and forth. It's kind of like last year in London when Jen cussed out Tamara and we kind of liked it.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah, we kind of liked it. But I'm kind of ready for them.

[Erika Jayne]

To like, let's soften that.

[Tamara Judge]

Let's make some new friends so that we can fight with some old.

[Erika Jayne]

Some other friends.

[Tamara Judge]

Yeah, let's keep.

I'm ready to mix this up. Like, you know, we need Gretchen and Tamara and maybe Jen to be friends and then tear up some other people. I don't know. I'm just throwing shit out here. But it just, you know, we're just.

Seeing what's gonna stick, guys. We're just.

And then Tamara leaves and Jen calls her fucking sick multiple times. And then. Can we not show the people at the restaurants, you know, they look again.

The saddest thing about this scene to me was that there was a bowl of chips and salsa untouched. They didn't even have one.

Well, it didn't. They didn't get each other. Well. Like I, you know what? I ate my whole plate the other night at this dinner that we went to. I was fucking hungry. I never did that shit. I was like, this is fucking good. And everybody else just moved their food around. My plate was clean.

[Tamara Judge]

The reason why you see a lot of housewives not eating is because then it gets all in our teeth. It's not our anymore. Cause I'm not on it. But like, even right now, I'm thinking about how my coffee and my chocolate croissant is probably.

[Erika Jayne]

Well, no one, you. You know, the, the rule of politics and show businesses never get caught eating and drinking on camera because no one looks good doing it. Like, look at all the Kardashians. All they do is eat salads and everything. Like, you know, like it's a thing.

[Tamara Judge]

And then you, like, you know, you can hear.

[Erika Jayne]

Well, you can just see their mouths open. Like, you know, all of our mouths open and nobody looks good eating.

[Tamara Judge]

Nobody looks. Well, my dad says nobody should walk and smoke.

[Erika Jayne]

Your father has very specific rules about that.

Yeah, he says, like, if you're gonna smoke a cigarette, not to Me, clearly. But my dad has been a smoker for years. He goes, don't ever do it and walk. He's like, if I saw a woman walking and smoking a cigarette at the same time, he's like, no, they need to sit.

Well, you know, smoking is back in fashion. A lot of people are smoking.

[Tamara Judge]

Cigarettes did bring it back.

[Erika Jayne]

It's possible, but I see a lot of people smoking. Not vaping.

[Tamara Judge]

Smoking well, because vaping got a bad rap.

[Erika Jayne]

Yeah, it's bad for you. And. But now people are smoking and, like, they're smoking these elegant cigarettes. I've never smoked a day in my life. You know, I've never smoked a cigarette.

Should we get fake cigarettes and smoke them and really piss people off? The ones that are like candy and you blow out candy.

[Erika Jayne]

Remember when you used to get candy cigs?

[Tamara Judge]

Oh, gummy cigs.

[Erika Jayne]

You could get candy cigs. I'm going way back in my Atlanta roots. Yeah. And, like. And you could crunch them and then eat them after you. I don't know. It's like candy cigs changed. Like, listen, there was this. We had a lake house and in, like, Lake Jackson and right outside Atlanta, and there was this country store. And, I mean, you get, like, crickets and bait and minnows and fishing tackle and gas and candy cigarettes. And this is what I remember.

Could you imagine this year for Valentine's Day, if I got my kids to give out candy, Candy cigs?

You would be. That would be, you know, just candy cigs. I mean, that was. That was the time that we grew up in just.

Things have changed. We also crammed, like, 25 of us in one, like, old Jeep Wrangler with, like, the brown.

The wood.

The wood on the side.

Wood paneling or the Country Squire station wagon. Did you. When did you start wearing a seat belt? I don't think I wore a seat belt till I was, like, in my. I was 16.

I started driving myself to wear a seatbelt now.

Yeah. I don't love seatbelts because I grew up in Hilton Head.

Half the cars didn't even have seatbelts.

No, we didn't have a seatbelt. Like, I stood up in the. When I was little, I stood up in the seat next to my mom.

Oh, yeah. Why? She was probably smoking cig.

No. My mom and I were the only two people in our family that never smoked.

No, I know, but everyone. Well, I think she had asthma, and I just hated it. She and I were the only two people that did not smoke in our family.

Yeah, back when I was growing up, everyone, everybody smoked. Everybody.

What'd your mom smoke?

[Tamara Judge]

She used to smoke Benson Hedges Menthol Lights.

That's the fact that I could still remember, though. And I would try to dress up to look older so I could go in and buy her cigs for her.

And that's when people bought cartons. They didn't even buy a pack of Sigs.

Oh, no, you bought a carton. Listen, my grandmother smoked Misty's, which I think were like a low budget slim Sig. And then my grandfather smoked Camels, but people smoked Marlboros. I just remember, like, it was so disgusting.

It's all disgusting. But guys, this is also us telling you, don't smoke. Don't. Don't pick it up now. It's a pricey habit. And, you know, whether it's vaping or cigs that are coming in and out of style, you don't want to be doing either. So this is our PSA.
