Mark
Hello there. This is Mark from Undo. I'm just in the shed with a little impromptu bonus episode for you to let you know about a few things. First off, don't worry, nothing weird is happening. Nothing's changing. The show is going out on Monday as normal. So this is not anything to worry about in that regard. But I've got a couple of things I want to tell you about what's happening to the show at the moment, what's coming up, and how you can support the efforts here at Undo Central. So you might have noticed that there are now ads in the episode. These will help us keep the lights on. And what that really means is producing episodes of Undo take a significant amount of time, upwards of a day, sometimes a day and a half. Writing, researching, editing, doing all of the sound design and finding the music and mixing and all that stuff. It all takes time and I'm going to continue doing it. I love doing it. I. I hate it when podcasters say, help keep the podcast free. It's like, well, you know, it's always going to be free. And so the ads help that. And it just means that I can get a little bit of pocket change back for the sort of fifth of my working week that I put into the show and will continue to put into the show. However, if the ads doth offend or you would like to support the show, then we now have a much simpler way of doing it. So before we experimented with a few things, Incredibly, we're only 12 weeks in and I'm already flabbergasted at the support that people have shown for the show and the affection as well. And so I do not take that for granted. So I've been sort of rather scrappily looking around at different ways that we can get some regular income to help. As we say, keep the lights on. And we've just gone for the simplest option. So, patreon.com undo podcast that is the place to go if you'd like to support the show, then you can do so from just $3 a month. Patreon.com Adrianna Undo podcast We've got three tiers for you. The $3 a month tier gets you ad free episodes. The $9 a month tier lets you suggest episode topics directly to me. The $12 tier will give you access to monthly Q&As that we're going to do over zoom. We're going to have other exclusive bonus content as well, most likely at the $9 and the $12 tiers. I'm still going to be writing book reviews probably not as often as I was doing it before. I say that I've only written one so far but that that kind of content. Also a bunch of behind the scenes stuff you the Patreon page as well. Huge thanks to those who have already stuck with me while I figure all of this stuff out. But your support really will mean the world to me and will probably form the the largest sort of base for how we can keep this keep the show flourishing. So patreon.com undo podcast there is of course a link in the show notes. And now finally what is coming up. There's lots more. There's lots more undo to be done next week. We are talking about the Pareto principle or the Pareto principle. I will figure out what the pronunciation is when I come to record it. That's about halfway done at the moment and it's coming out lovely. It's going to be a really fun episode. That's also known as the 8020 rule if you're curious. I'm also working on a multi part Getting Things Done miniseries perhaps and so Getting Things Done gtd. That's the David Allen cult book. I've also got episodes in the Work about deep work, atomic habits, alpha waves and binaural beats Patron. Jillian suggested one on ADHD and productivity which I'm working on with a doctor and a neurodivergence specialist. And I may do some further book reviews and some of the stuff as well that will be Patron only content. But those are the sort of episodes that you can expect to hear over the next few weeks. So I am if anything, gearing up, getting faster, doing more. I'm having such a blast making the show. The last couple of episodes have been slightly different and I'm looking forward to getting back to like that meaty sort of proper classic. I mean we've only, we're only 12 episodes in, but you know that classic Undo episode about the Pareto principle and other stuff to come. So I'm so excited about the future of the show and I can't believe it's only 12 weeks in. The amount of support and the love and the affection for this show is hugely humbling and I take it very seriously and it warms my heart. So I do not take you for granted. That's why I wanted to record this, to let you know about these changes so you don't necessarily feel like they're sort of the rugs being pulled from under you or a bunch of stuff's happening. I love having you around And I hope that you'll stick with the show. If you are not in a position to support us via Patreon, that's absolutely fine. If you'd be so kind, if you haven't already, to leave us a review on Apple Podcasts, that would be amazing. It doesn't help more people find the show, despite what other podcasters will tell you. What it does do is it it means when people do come across the show, they've got lots of testimonials to make them think this might be a show that I'll enjoy. And also it warms my cockles very much. And every review that appears there and in other places gets published on Undo FM reviews, including the negative ones. So that's where you'll find all of those reviews. So if you do drop me a review via Apple Podcasts, you will most likely find it listed there. And if you've got, you know, if you've got feedback, if you've got stuff that you wish would change about the show, if you've got concerns, questions, anything like that. Hellondo FM is where you can contact me if you've got questions about the ads and what that means or anything else about the Patreon. Any questions you've got. Hello, Dot FM is the place that you can contact me there. All right, listen, I'm going to let you get on. Thank you so much for being a listener. I really love having you along and I'm looking forward to the next 12 weeks and beyond of Undo. So stick around one more time patreon.com/exo podcast to pledge your support for the show and I'll see you on Monday.
