Chloe Chrisley
Welcome back to this week's episode of Unlocked. And today I have your favorite guest on Introduce yourself.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Nanny Faye Chrisley.
Chloe Chrisley
Thank you for coming back.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, I have to come back and bail you out every once in a while.
Chloe Chrisley
Every once in a while. I know, y'.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
All.
Chloe Chrisley
Things just start falling apart, and I've got to have Danny to save the day. Yeah.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Always been saving the day.
Chloe Chrisley
I love you. What have you been up to?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, just whatever anybody wants me to do. You know, I clean, do a little laundry here and there for everybody and enjoying life and moving on.
Chloe Chrisley
Have you gotten your passport yet?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
It's on the way.
Chloe Chrisley
It's on the way, y'. All. She lost her passport. Now she's gonna get a new one. Did you lose it?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
No, it expired.
Chloe Chrisley
Oh, of course it expired. Well, you need to get it because we may have some trips we're going on.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, listen, it told me how to get in three weeks. Wednesday was a week, so two more weeks.
Chloe Chrisley
I love how you are counting down the days.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I am. Listen, I get up, I'm enjoying life
Chloe Chrisley
do you think you'd ever go on cruise?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I've been on cruise.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay. See, I would. The cruise that I'm going on, though, doesn't have a casino.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Oh, well, sin, I don't like to bake in the sun because I like to stay pretty. So I'm not trying to make my skin look bad.
Chloe Chrisley
Oh, yeah. God forbid, do that. See, I love just bake me. I want to look like a burnt Cheeto.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And you know what? When you get to be 80 like me, you're going to look. Oh, my God. I wish I'd been like Nanny.
Chloe Chrisley
Oh, no. I'll have my skin pulled back.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Oh, Lord. Well, it might bust then if you pull it too hard.
Chloe Chrisley
I love you. I love you. All right, I want to talk about a bunch of different stuff. Now, obviously, you know, Nanny's in the modern world now, so you're dealing with a lot of new stuff. But are you actually using your phone or is it just kind of decorative?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, I can't keep up with it most of the time, so if I don't, I'm just like a kid with that phone.
Chloe Chrisley
You are.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
When I can't find it, I go all to pieces.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And now I don't even have a phone to call it.
Chloe Chrisley
What do you mean?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, when I lived in West Haven, in Alpharetta, when I couldn't find it, I go get my house phone and call it, and then I could find it.
Chloe Chrisley
I cannot.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
But see, now, then I don't have all that.
Chloe Chrisley
No nanny. Can you believe I. My new house, we've been getting everything set up. Security cameras, you know, alarm, just anything you could think of. And I asked the guy if he knew where I could get a landmine because I just wanted to have one in the house. Just like, in case of emergencies, go
Nanny Faye Chrisley
to nine, just go to att.
Chloe Chrisley
No, they don't even have them anymore. He looked at me like I was a crazy person. He said, ma', am, they don't do those anymore.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, my house in West Haven had it.
Chloe Chrisley
He told me. He said they don't do them anymore. So, I don't know. I wanted a landline.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
That's a bad thing that they did away with. I know, because it helps a lot of things.
Chloe Chrisley
Well, and you just. Okay, I want people. I want your honest opinion. Do you want a landline in your house or do you just want your cell phone? That's my question for the listeners. Because I know I want a landline. Okay? It just makes things easier. It gives you two different alternatives.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, look at me. It helped me out. I know I didn't have to go look. And all I had to do as soon as I couldn't find it.
Chloe Chrisley
I love you.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And ringing, and I go find it.
Chloe Chrisley
So we've settled that debate. Next. You have gone viral to millions of people. Did anyone tell you when that happened?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
No.
Chloe Chrisley
Do you even know what viral means?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, not really, but I don't care. I just get up and do me every day. And if I gain friends and fans every day, so it doesn't matter to me.
Chloe Chrisley
I'm pretty sure viral means when a clip of you skyrockets in viewership in such a short period of time. So that means that, like, millions and millions of people are seeing something funny that you did and. Or they are. Yeah. So they're seeing it, they're sharing it. But there is one moment specifically, and I want you to find this and put it in the video that I remember Nanny going viral.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
What did I do? Crazy.
Chloe Chrisley
So we were filming the TV show and you were playing basketball. Because, y', all, if you don't know, Nanny Faye says she was the greatest basketball player ever.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I was. I was great.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay, well, she was playing basketball for Chrisley Knows Best. And I'm videoing it on my phone and she's trying to run and Nanny's runs a shuffle and she eats shit on this basketball court. Do you remember? I did do and Nanny, I posted it and people lost their mind. It went viral. Barstool Sports reached out to me, wanted to post it. I mean, it was hysterical.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, you know, when you start getting old, things change in life. You don't have that rhythm to jump up and down. And sometimes, like in the airport in la, Nick and Todd was in front of me and they looked back and said, hurry up, Nanny. So I was feeling kind of froggy, so I started running and I passed them and then when all of a sudden my legs just went away and I fell flat on my stomach and everybody come running.
Chloe Chrisley
Oh, my God, Nanny.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Todd jerked me up and he said, mama, you cannot be doing stuff like that.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
No.
Chloe Chrisley
You are an icon. You are a world treasure. You cannot be getting hurt.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I don't want to get hurt. I got. I got a lot of miles to go.
Chloe Chrisley
So you've been hanging out with Chloe a lot. Chloe is your best little friend, and you hear her on the phone with her friends, you hear her saying all kinds of crazy stuff. So I'm going to give you a few phrases and I need you to guess what they mean. What does dulu mean?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Now listen, I. Do Lou to me would be crazy.
Chloe Chrisley
What?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Why did I say do Lou or whatever, Lulu? Well, I say I think it'd be you crazy.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah. You're just delusional, Res.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, I never heard those kind of words.
Chloe Chrisley
It's like charisma. Like, I think, like you're kind of cool. I think is what it means.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, I believe I just say, you know, you cool back like we did back in our day. Say, when my dictionary comes out, it's not going to have all them crazy stuff and it's going to be down to earth.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah. No cap.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I don't guess you're going to wear no cap, Nanny.
Chloe Chrisley
No, it does not mean you're not going to wear no cap. It means like genuine truthful.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, I've been like that my whole life, so that's me.
Chloe Chrisley
That's a damn lie. I love you, but it's a lie.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, sometimes I can't. I have to be truth a little bit to try to keep y' all straight.
Chloe Chrisley
Uhhuh. Okay.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
It's not me. I don't have to lie for me. It's lying for y'. All.
Chloe Chrisley
Oh, yeah? What about? It's giving, you know.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Giving?
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah, like it's giving.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I don't know. Is she gonna give something?
Chloe Chrisley
Lenny? It's giving is like, you know, when I get dressed up and I just. My outfit's great. Like, for instance, my outfits on the view they were giving.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Which means I would say, hell, that was beautiful. That's what I say back in the day. See all that stuff? They're wasting time coming up with stupid stuff like that.
Chloe Chrisley
I do find them to be pretty stupid.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Yeah.
Chloe Chrisley
What about touch grass.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Don't touch the grass.
Chloe Chrisley
Touch grass. I don't know, it means like, come back down to life. Like, you maybe need to go outside and touch some grass and go hunt
Nanny Faye Chrisley
a four leaf clover.
Chloe Chrisley
All right, what about a situationship
Nanny Faye Chrisley
relationship?
Chloe Chrisley
Relationship. But it's a situationship.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, you must be in a bad situation.
Chloe Chrisley
So a situationship, you see. You know, Grayson, in some of these, you see Chase. Hell, you've seen me in a lot of situations.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Yeah, I know.
Chloe Chrisley
You know, a situationship is like talking to someone but you're not dating that person. And then it could maybe get messy because then somebody starts talking to somebody else.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, that's why you need to keep your friends. Not so many so they won't have no gossiping going on, but no nanny.
Chloe Chrisley
This is like in dating, like a situation shift where you're not just date. Trust me, your grandchildren love to date multiple people, so that's kind of what it is. Oh, what would you call that back in the day?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
They can't be satisfied. They just keep going, trying to find somebody else.
Chloe Chrisley
Then there's that. So, TikTok, do you know what TikTok is?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Yeah, I kind of. I've watched a few things that the kids would tell me to go thing down, but you gotta pay to get on it, so I don't fool with you.
Chloe Chrisley
You don't have to pay to get on TikTok. Yeah, you do. No, you don't.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, I've tried to get on it and I can't.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay, well, then I'm gonna help you. I'll set you up a profile.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, see, that'll give me something to watch.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah, I'll set you up a profile. If you had your own TikTok, what would you post?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I would post the real McCoy about life and enjoying life and being good and doing the right thing. That's what I would do.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay, y', all, I need to talk
Podcast Host / Sponsor Voice
about article because I have been obsessed with designing my home and also rebranding the podcast set. I just want everything to feel intentional and elevated without spending a ridiculous amount
Chloe Chrisley
of money to do it.
Podcast Host / Sponsor Voice
I recently got the Sadie sofa, which I'm sitting on on this podcast, and I genuinely cannot get over it. I mean, I walked in and saw it and was like, this does not look like something I paid that price for. It's so clean and put together, it just looks like a piece from a design magazine. And the quality, when you actually sit on it, it holds its shape, it feels substantial. It doesn't feel like the furniture that's going to look tired in a year. What I love about article is that everything is so thoughtfully curated. Nothing like filler. Everything is chosen for its design, craftsmanship and its lasting value. Plus, it shows you can tell the second something arrives. The packaging alone told me this was a different kind of company. It came so well protected. Nothing was scuffed or dinged and the assembly was almost nothing, which I appreciated. The main piece arrived basically ready to go. They offer free interior design services if you you need help figuring out how to pull a space together. And their customer care team is available seven days a week. You know what nanny? I'm going to hire somebody, a social media like content creator and we're going to start you up a TikTok and we're gonna do, we're gonna post every day and we're gonna have a some sort of video and I'm telling you, you will go viral and you will make some good money.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, I'm ready.
Chloe Chrisley
All right, we're doing it, y'. All. Nanny Faye on TikTok, by the time this comes out, she will have her tick tock made. And there we go.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Oh Lord have mercy. I will never sleep.
Chloe Chrisley
You can give dating advice now.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
You know that's what Gene always said. Yeah, that you missed your call and you ought to been a sergeant because you won't tell everybody what to do.
Chloe Chrisley
That is accurate. Nanny wants to tell everybody what to do. And y', all, we're going to put a disclaimer on all of her videos. This advice is simply advice. Consult with your doctor or psychiatrist.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
No, that's your problem. The doctors and the psychiatrists.
Chloe Chrisley
Psychiatrists, whatever you want to call them
Nanny Faye Chrisley
because I don't even know them. Don't want to know.
Chloe Chrisley
I cannot. Well, I'm not going to be held liable for her actions or words. Okay, just putting that out here. What would you say, Nanny, your brand is
Nanny Faye Chrisley
of me being me?
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I get up every morning and strive to be the best that I can be. I always thank God for letting me get up and see and take care of myself and stay positive and do what I think he wants me to do.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I'm going to be the best I can. And if I can be a blessing to someone today, I'm going to do that.
Chloe Chrisley
Well, you know the Bible says no to gambling.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
It doesn't tell me. I done looked it up.
MacKenzie (GoFundMe Storyteller)
Mm.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Mm. Just cause they did the go with the straw. Didn't mean about gambling. Didn't say that. So I don't feel like I'm doing anything wrong. I don't take anything from my children or my grandchildren, so I'm just entertaining myself.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay. How many followers would you hope to gain on TikTok?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, I don't know that I set out to be a number, but I want everybody to love me.
Chloe Chrisley
What would make you happy?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
If you saw two or three million.
Chloe Chrisley
Two or three million? Geez. Well, you're shooting for the stars.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I don't go low, I go high.
Chloe Chrisley
This is great, y'. All. That's gonna be money. Seriously, like Nanny on Tick Tock. You will make good money. You will. It's going to be crazy. I'm going to make it happen for you. All right, next Nanny. I want to move on to talking about love and marriage, but Nanny style. Okay, so don't sugarcoat it because everybody loves when Nanny is Nanny. What would you say actually made Papa the right person for you?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, when I met him, he was good looking.
Chloe Chrisley
When you met him, Papa was always good looking.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I know, but that's what made me like him.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay, see, so this is. I love that you said that. So Papa was good looking. I hate when people say, oh, looks don't matter. Looks don't matter.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, you don't want to be going down the street and holding somebody's hand and them ugly.
Chloe Chrisley
Exactly, exactly. You've told us all that. So yes, looks do matter.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And you need to get up. Not everybody's born beautiful, but you got to work on it. Now, I'm not beautiful.
Chloe Chrisley
Yes, you, Honor.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
But I get up and do the best I can with what I have.
Chloe Chrisley
So what would you say for someone that may not have been born beautiful, as you say, what do they need to get up and do.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Get up and work on it like so.
Chloe Chrisley
For a woman, what would you say?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Get up, fix your hair, put you some makeup on and be. Listen, if you got a beautiful personality, it kind of helps your looks.
Chloe Chrisley
What if you're. You weren't born beautiful and maybe you weren't born with a great personality, well,
Nanny Faye Chrisley
then you might be lost because you got to get up and put forth good effort. People like you, not sometime necessarily because you're beautiful. It's just you have a good heart, you're kind and you're good. You know that always. Mama always told us pretty is. Is pretty does.
Chloe Chrisley
Amen. That is the truth. So going back to Papa, was there a moment or did you just know that Papa was the one?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, he was always kind and good and, you know, he was 10 years older than me.
Chloe Chrisley
See, it's where I get it from.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And you know what?
Chloe Chrisley
I'm the older ones, but he was.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And you know, never did I ever think about him being older than me. It was just when we got married, we just moved on.
Chloe Chrisley
Where did y' all meet?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
At Peace Drive in Peace Drive in Pete's. Drive in Pete's. Yeah.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And me and his sister Mary.
Chloe Chrisley
Which nanny said she has corrected herself. She said Mary, but really it's Mary.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Yeah.
Chloe Chrisley
Well, yeah, that's how we say it. Which is who they all say is I am her just like reincarnated.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Yeah, that's true.
Chloe Chrisley
Why do you say that? What was Mary's personality?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Mary had the biggest personality in the world. Everybody loved her. And when she would get up to go, she would go to the VFW on Saturday night.
Chloe Chrisley
What's that?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
It's where the veterans things. Okay, so she go to the vfw.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Now when she came out, she looked just like Dolly Parton. Them heels about like that, like you wear.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
That hair wasn't a strand messed up. She was beautiful. And personality. She would give you the shirt off her back. If she need the coat, she'd give you hers.
Chloe Chrisley
What was her weakness like? She. She. Did she like her men? Did she like. What'd she like?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, she liked to look good. And you know, she was. She married young and then she had two children and she divorced. Then she remarried.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And she just lived her life just personality. Couldn't. But, you know, all the Christmas had good personalities.
Chloe Chrisley
Now, nanny, what is Danny's first off, y', all, Before I even ask this, she's going to kill me.

Chloe Chrisley
What is the story of her? She was with somebody and did they
Nanny Faye Chrisley
have money and I can't talk about that.
Chloe Chrisley
Yes, you can. Just tell the story.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, Mary was Jean had two sisters, Francis and Catherine, that lived in New York in Long Island.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And Catherine owned a but.
Chloe Chrisley
So he had Francis, Katherine, Mary and Jane. Okay.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Then she would go up there. Catherine had a bar and she would go up there and work at the bar. And then sometimes she'd work at McFarlane bowling alley.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay. Marywood.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Marywood. And so she met Freddie and he had lots of money and now she was beautiful. But now she was divorced at that time. And he was always. He'd buy her anything.
Chloe Chrisley
Oh, we like that.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And so she started dating somebody back in South Carolina. And so she wasn't going to make stays up in New York.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And so he came and came to my house and he said, fay, would you go tell Mary that I'm here? Do you know where she's at? I said, I think I do. So I go, and she's in this little old camper. And here was her friend. He came in.
Chloe Chrisley
Her friend?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Yeah. And I said, I can't tell you what she told me.
Chloe Chrisley
No, you got to tell Nanny. You got to tell it.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I can't, because that's ugly.
Chloe Chrisley
No, tell it.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I said, mary, why would you go with him when Freddy's good looking and got all that money? She said, well, he's got a crook on it. That's what that crazy fool see, she.
Chloe Chrisley
What did you say to her?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I said, you crazy? And I went, got in my car and I left and I went on back and I said, freddie, I couldn't find her.
Chloe Chrisley
I couldn't find her.
TikTok Influencer Narrator
No.
Chloe Chrisley
Because what would Nanny have done in that moment? You got somebody who's good looking who has all this money, then you've got somebody.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, I'm gonna go for the money and the good looks. It's not gonna be for none of that shit.
Chloe Chrisley
It's not gonna be for somebody who's got a crook in it in bed.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, I wouldn't know anyway because I didn't do stuff like that. But I'm just telling you, I'm gonna go for the money and good looks.
Chloe Chrisley
I am dying. Oh, gosh. All right. I had to. What's the one thing you wish someone told you before you got married?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I don't know.
Chloe Chrisley
Like what. What was the. How old were you when you got married?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
19.
Chloe Chrisley
Oh, my gosh. And Papa was 29. See, y', all, that's where I get it. Because you remember when I moved to Nashville, I lived in the Gulch and I was 18. Yeah, 18. 19 years old. And I met this guy in my mail room and he was real good looking. He had on a suit. And you know me, y', all, I. I don't ever check the mail. If you got something to say to me, don't send it via mail because I won't see it. But I check the mail every day because he was so good looking. And we're in the mail room and he exchanges numbers, wants to take me out. I was 18, he was 30.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, that was. Okay. 12 years.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah, that's fine. We're good. I met somebody in the mail room. You met Papa. In just a very normal way. But what about apps? Like, what do you think about meeting somebody on an app? Like you swipe on a photo and decide if you want to meet somebody.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
No, I'll never do that.
Chloe Chrisley
Would you have tried it?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, they didn't know. We didn't know nothing about stuff like that. You either met them at school or you met them in a restaurant or at work.
Chloe Chrisley
So what do you think about apps? Do you think it's a good idea? Bad idea?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
No. That's how people get killed.
Chloe Chrisley
That's how people get killed. What do you mean?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, that. That's not a good thing.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah, because you really don't know?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
No, I'm not gonna do that. Ever.
Chloe Chrisley
I met somebody on an app one time.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I bet he wasn't the real McCoy.
Chloe Chrisley
No, he said he was a restaurant owner, but he.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I bet he's on the streets, basically.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
See, they lie and they want something, always wants. And I don't know, I ain't never done it. I'm just hearing what people say. Yeah, and that's not good. You need to know the person. I'm not going to get in the car with nobody and I'm not going out to eat with nobody unless I know.
Chloe Chrisley
Well, nanny, we know that's a lie because you meet. You give random people your phone number.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, I've been knowing them for a while. No, but it's not like men. I don't give men my phone number.
Chloe Chrisley
But still, nanny, women are just as crazy.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, I'm not going out here with nobody.
Chloe Chrisley
The other day, I'm scrolling on TikTok and I see a video and it's somebody recording a phone conversation with you. And you're like, oh, I've just been thinking about you and I just wanted to call you.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
That was a podcast that I did. And her, she was a young girl like you, okay. And her husband was older than her and he's got cancer, okay. And I did a cameo for her, okay. And so I did. I was thinking about her, so I went back through all my cameos and found her and I called her.
Chloe Chrisley
Oh, my gosh. Well, that's real kind of you. Nanny would you ever date again?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
No, I'm through.
Chloe Chrisley
You're through? You don't want to date anybody?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
No. I have my grandchildren and my children, all my friends and fans. I don't need nobody.
Chloe Chrisley
Not even if they had money?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
No, I don't need no money.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay. All right. See, I like that because I really wouldn't let you date anybody anyway.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, I don't want to. I had one husband and one dog and that's it.
Chloe Chrisley
I have one husband and one dog and that's it. Oh. What would you say your honest advice for me is right now on love?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, if you've met the right one and you love him, stay true and make it work. Don't get mad, slam the door and think the grass is greener on the other side. They might manicure their grass better, but it's probably not.
Chloe Chrisley
I love that. See, I like my life right now. I am happy and that's what you need.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Listen, every day is a good day, but every day might not be what you want it to be, but you make it be the best day that you can because we're not promised tomorrow. So always be the best you can be today. And I'm not going to be mean and I'm not going to say ugly things. Now I might tell you you've pissed me off, go to hell. But then I'm going on.
Chloe Chrisley
But you're not going to say ugly things.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
No, that's it.
Chloe Chrisley
You told somebody, go to hell.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, I mean it. And I'm gone.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay, so that's you being nice?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Yeah, that's about as nice as I'm bad as I'm going to be.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay, so I'm going to transition nanny into some, you know, Chrisley family files. I need you to tell me a story about somebody in this family that nobody has heard.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Somebody in our family hadn't been heard yet.
Chloe Chrisley
Like, like a story, like something that has happened that maybe the audience does not know about. Something that we've never told somebody.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I don't can't think of nothing right off.
Chloe Chrisley
Come on, you need you can think of something. Or maybe something that you've covered for one of your grandchildren on.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, I got some things that I had never told and I'm going to be laying out and I'm not going on to the other world and I'm not going to tell you.
Chloe Chrisley
No guys, I actually have a really funny one and I'm not Nanny is an og, okay? Because she will not tell it. She will bust a gut wide ass open before she Says a thing. So Nanny will come over to my house and do laundry. You know where I'm going with this?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
No, I don't know, but I don't care.
Chloe Chrisley
Nanny will go over to my house and do laundry. And she said she was coming over one morning, and I was like, great. That's awesome. Well, my laundry room is obviously away from my bedroom. I totally forgot Nanny was coming over, and the person that I'm with was over at my house. And this was before anybody knew that, like, I was with this person. And he gets up and goes to the pantry to get ibuprofen, and he's just in his underwear. And the pantry is right across from the laundry room. He goes in there to get it, and next thing. Next thing he knows, Nanny's in the laundry room with her back towards him. And so he, like, tries to get out of there quietly. He thought he did. And then I have a text from Nanny that says, well, I didn't know you had company. I'll come back later.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I didn't see him, but I seen the car keys on the thing, and it wasn't yours. And the bill fo say, it's time for me to go.
Chloe Chrisley
It's time for me to go. And y', all, she never said a word to anybody? No one?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
No. I don't divulge stuff's none of my business.
Chloe Chrisley
I love you. I died. It was absolutely hysterical. And then she never brought it up again, not even to me. What is the wildest thing one of us has actually put you through?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I don't know. We've been through some things.
Chloe Chrisley
We don't really see anything as wild, do we? No, we just kind of deal with it as it comes. Our whole life is wild.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, that's why we are who we are. We might not like each other every day, but we love each other all the time. But listen, we never been, like, real mean to do mean things but play. We've been playing yalls whole life that
Chloe Chrisley
we're just used to it by now.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And I'll never forget you when you, Todd, bought us that house where.
Chloe Chrisley
Oh, yes, you and Papa we were.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
So, you know, we'd come and get you.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Every time we was off, about every week we meet in commerce, get you the big thing.
Chloe Chrisley
And this is when they still lived in South Carolina.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And you were sitting on those little things in the middle.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And you said, I'm going. I can tell y' all something if you cross your heart and raise your hand to God that you're not going to tell because Daddy will kill us.
Chloe Chrisley
Said.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
He said he'd kill us if it. So now listen, when you're trying to find out something, you'll do most anything, She said.
Chloe Chrisley
How old was I?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Probably about four or five. We could figure it up. Yeah, but about that. Because you're still little enough sitting on that little horsey. You called it. Yeah, and that's how dumb we was that you riding it instead of buckling you up.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
But anyway, we was going down. I know exactly where it was just right below the house making that curve to go down and get on Highway 11.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And you said y' all getting a new house for Christmas. Well, I knew that's a lie. So I just. He said, Daddy said we better not tell him. Well, we went over there for Christmas and we went out to dinner. Randy and Jenny and all of us went. And so Todd, he said, I'm going to take Mama and Daddy. So he let us go pick out the one that he said. He said, just say which one you like. Well, I ain't going to buy no house like that.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And then that's the one I picked out. And then we went back. Y' all all come to the door with the keys. I never told that. For years and years. Papa never told it.
Chloe Chrisley
Papa never told it, but I did
Nanny Faye Chrisley
after he passed away. I did tell it.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah, after Papa passed away, you did. So y', all. This made it to, like, my adult life almost, which is insane. Again, if you got something you want to tell somebody and you don't want anybody else to know, tell Nanny. Tell Nanny.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, I'm not going if it's bad. I'm going to deal with it right then.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I'm not going to prolong it. A speed and ticket will pay. A gas card. We'll give it to you. We'll do most things, but it's bad. No, I said, do not ring my phone because I'm going to tell on you.
Chloe Chrisley
I will tell on you.
MacKenzie (GoFundMe Storyteller)
My name is MacKenzie and I started to go fund me for the adoptive mother of a nonverbal autistic child. The mother had lost her job because she wasn't able to find adequate care for this autistic child. So she really needed some help with living expenses, paying some back bills. So I launched a GoFundMe to help support them during this crisis. And we raised about $10,000 within just
Liberty Mutual Announcer
a couple of months.
MacKenzie (GoFundMe Storyteller)
I think that the surprising thing was by telling a clear story and just like, really being very clear about what we needed. We had some really generous donations from people who were really moved by the situation that this family was struggling with.

Chloe Chrisley
Who would you say in this family is most like? You. And then who is the most dramatic?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, you like to work. And I do, too. Now, I don't mind working. I mean, that's just who I am.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And I don't ever dread anything.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I'm just going to do what I can. If I finish it today. Okay.
Podcast Host / Sponsor Voice
Don't.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Tomorrow's another day. And you like to make money and you like to work.
Chloe Chrisley
So you'd say.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
So I'm gonna say that you like to work, and I do, too. All right. We like money.
Chloe Chrisley
Who's the most dramatic in the family?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, you know, Chase. He likes a little drama.
Chloe Chrisley
Mm.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
He likes to keep us with a little drama.
Chloe Chrisley
Yep. So we'll say Chase.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Yeah, he's the drama king.
Chloe Chrisley
Now, what do you actually think of. What do you actually think about where my life is right now?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, I think it's in a good spot, and I'm real happy.
Chloe Chrisley
So you're. So you're good with where I'm at? Okay, good. Oh, thank God.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I don't see nothing. I got to go correct right at this moment.
Chloe Chrisley
All right, well, let's keep it that way.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I'll try to. Just don't do nothing. I gotta come and correct.
Chloe Chrisley
We're gonna do something fun now, so we are gonna show you some videos, and I just want you to watch them and. And tell me what you think. Okay. So look at the screen. This tastes, this tastes.
M
This tastes good as it is. But I'll go and throw it away. I'm gonna add some flavor. Perfect. Now let's pack my lunch. I've got like five strawberries. I think it's four. I have a caramel apple pie, yogurt for 80 calories, a 245 calorie sandwich, but I'm gonna add some apple to it. It has turkey and cheese and just 70 calorie bread times two. I have smart food popcorn with the Doritos flavor. For my lunch, I have a clementine. Last but not least, I have this 90 calorie kind mini, and it's chocolate and peanut butter. 8.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Go.
M
I'm on my way home, so I am going to eat some snacks. And I also didn't get a chance to eat this at work. I'm just getting home from the gym, and I'm a sweaty mess. But I forgot that at work we were getting free lunch today, and I packed my lunch. So instead I grabbed some to bring home for dinner. And so I'm gonna measure this out. There's all kinds of stuff in here. Potatoes, steak, chicken, cauliflower, cowboy caviar, and a roll. And I'm gonna put the macros here, and I'm gonna eat it for dinner. Okay. After measuring everything out, I think this is about 600 calories, probably a little bit more or less because all of this meat is already cooked. But this is 53 grams of protein, and I'm super excited. It smells so good.
Thrive Cosmetics Announcer
Cheers.
Chloe Chrisley
All right. What do you think this is? This is something that's going viral night right now about what I eat in a day.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, she started out good, but I think she might have put a little stuff in her drink that probably she didn't need. I think that's. That's what she did. Then she packed all of her good things that she should be eating.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And then she put her some chips in, so that wasn't good for her. Then she did pretty good all day. But then she come home and eat the kitchen.
Chloe Chrisley
I'm dying. What would nannies what I eat in a day look like?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, you don't eat anything.
Chloe Chrisley
Like what? What? Like if you were to do a video and show people what you eat in a day, what would that look like? What would. What do you eat for breakfast?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
A cookie.
Chloe Chrisley
So you have your coffee and a cookie. What do you eat for lunch?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, sometimes like two or three o', clock, I might make me a blt or sometimes I ate me a. A bagel with cream cheese and a slice of tomato.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay. And then do you have any snacks throughout the day?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Very rarely. Unless I'm with somebody. But just at home by myself. Very rarely.
Chloe Chrisley
What do you have for dinner?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, usually I'll cook me some beans and make me some coleslaw.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And cook me a little cake of cornbread.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And then that's what I ate.
Chloe Chrisley
And then do you snack at night?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Very rarely.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay. Next video. So this is a video of just like a soft life, which is doing less, is doing more. Do you buy that? This is just about like living life and it just be restful. You get up, you have your tea,
Nanny Faye Chrisley
just do what you want to. Yeah, that's a good life. Not stressful.
Chloe Chrisley
You, you believe in that? You believe in a soft life?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, I don't know. I don't think I've ever had a soft life.
Chloe Chrisley
But you would take it if you could get it?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Probably not, no.
Chloe Chrisley
You don't like a soft life?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
No, I like to be up and be out in the soft life. You just kind of be by yourself, which I have been by myself for 13 years.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
But I have my grandchildren. I do hear from them every day.
Chloe Chrisley
We keep you busy.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Yeah, you do. And I hear from my family and a lot of friends. So I'm not too much about being lonely.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
That's why I'm not. I don't search for other things.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I have enough to keep me occupied.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
And I'm happy with my life.
Chloe Chrisley
Good. That makes me happy. All right, next video.
Liberty Mutual Announcer
TikTok influencer named Maddie made this video about the silent walking movement that she believes she pioneered.
TikTok Influencer Narrator
As I was about to go out on first 30 minute walk, my sweet boyfriend challenged me to walk without distractions. No AirPods, no podcast, no music. Just me, myself and I. And at first I was like, no, my Anxiety could never. Which is probably what you're thinking. And look, the first two minutes are mayhem. Your mind is racing. You're going to have anxiety. Something happens after two minutes where your brain just gets into this flow state. Suddenly you can hear yourself.
Liberty Mutual Announcer
I have no problem with silent walking. I think it's a very good practice. The problem is the ignorance that leads these TikTok influencers to believe that they came up with the idea themselves. She started a movement.
Chloe Chrisley
So this video is people walking with no phones, no music. I mean, it's clearly a movement. So what. What do you think of that?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I think it's the grandest thing that they've come. You know, I always say the millennia time.
Chloe Chrisley
The millennia. Yeah.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Because when you're walking, you have no distractions. You have a clear mind. You're thinking about things in life, what has been, what I'm thinking about that I want to do. You have a clear mind.
Chloe Chrisley
All right. What do you do when you need to clear your head?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I just go in there and sit down, and I don't answer no phones. I don't do nothing. I think about the decision that I'm fixing to make.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay. All right, next one.
Grainger Announcer
Delusional.
Chloe Chrisley
Of course I'm delusional.
Grainger Announcer
Delusional.
Chloe Chrisley
Of course I'm delusional. So this is, you know, Delulu, right? Have you ever been delusional about something?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
No.
Chloe Chrisley
Nanny, come on.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
No, I'm not.
Chloe Chrisley
Nanny.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I don't go in there. Oh, I'm delusional. Oh, I know, I know. I don't do that because that. To me, I think that's crazy, because, listen, you can control your own self and what you're doing, and I'm not going to go there and do my hair. Oh, my. Oh, God, I'm delusional. I'm losing it. No, I don't do that. That. That's not going to help me at all, the situation that I'm in. I just said, dear Jesus, what am I going to do? But right now I got a problem.
Chloe Chrisley
Well, I'm just going to say, I love you. But you're delusional about a lot of things. A lot of things that happen in life. We could see it.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I don't want to hold on to things that's not happy meanings to me.
Chloe Chrisley
Yeah, but that doesn't mean that you have to be delusional. Like, we could all watch the same thing play out on a TV in front of us, and you'd say it happened differently.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, I don't mean to be like that.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Because if we're watching the same dang thing, I'm going to see it like you. I still got good eyes.
Chloe Chrisley
All right, there is another video, and it is about green flags. So instead of really watching and listening to it, you can see here what it looks like. But it is green flags on a first date. So I'm going to read them line by line and I want you to react to them. So someone who puts actions to words. Good. Is that a green flag?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
If he does what he says he's gonna do, that's a good flag.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay. Treat servers. Treats service workers with respect.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
That's a great one.
Chloe Chrisley
Remember small details.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
That's good.
Chloe Chrisley
Respects boundaries.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
That's good, too.
Chloe Chrisley
Driven and has goals.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Everybody's gotta have a goal.
Chloe Chrisley
Has hobbies outside of drinking.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I love that.
Chloe Chrisley
Emotionally intelligent.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Yes. Cause you could get emotional sometimes. Everybody does. If you don't, there's something wrong with you.
Chloe Chrisley
Okay. Buys you flowers just because. And not just because you had a fight.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, that's okay, but I don't want you to get a fight and then come think you're going to tote me in some flowers and I'm gonna like it. Well, I'm not. I'm still mad.
Chloe Chrisley
See, it's where I get it from. Little. Has very little social media presence. Doesn't follow a bunch of naked models.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Oh, Lord, I love that. Yeah, I love him for that.
Chloe Chrisley
What do you think about guys who just follow all these, like, half naked
Nanny Faye Chrisley
women because they're stupid and ignorant and they have nothing else to do in their life?
Chloe Chrisley
So that's a.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
That's, that's a bad. Oh, that's a bad one. You need to just mark that out with real black sand. Yeah, Marker.
Chloe Chrisley
And someone who prioritizes their health, that
Nanny Faye Chrisley
eats good and takes care of their health. I love that.
Chloe Chrisley
So you believe in maybe creating a list of green flags and if they
Nanny Faye Chrisley
don't meet them, they don't meet them. Good. You better run while you can.
Chloe Chrisley
All right, our last one. And this is bids for connection.
Relationship Expert Narrator
The biggest predictor of the future health of your relationship, according to decades of research by Drs. John and Julie Gottman, was how both partners responded to each other's bids for connection. According to them, on page 88 of their new book, Fight, Right. It's those small, ordinary, fleeting moments that made all the difference between couples that stayed together and were happy versus those who didn't. They said happy couples turn towards their partner's bids 86% of the time versus couples who didn't. Make it only turned towards their partner 33%. So what even is a bid for connection? It's an attempt, a request, an invitation for connection with your partner. And unfortunately, it's disastrous when we intentionally or unintentionally ignore or miss them. A bid can be a smile, a hug, someone saying, oh, you gotta hear what happened to me today. It can be someone trying to make a joke. It can be someone saying, isn't that the most beautiful sunset you've ever seen? It can be someone sending you a funny reel or telling you about their dream to live in the country one day. The point is, these can be subtle moments where our partner is reaching for us, inviting us in, and when we consistently miss them, we are slowly making withdrawals from their emotional bank account with us instead of deposits.
Chloe Chrisley
So what do you think about that, Nanny? The bids for connection?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I think that's good that you. You're not gonna always agree, or you're
Chloe Chrisley
not always gonna have, like, the same interest.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
No, but you know what? See, I didn't.
Relationship Expert Narrator
When.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
You know, when your papa take y' all fishing, I never liked to fish. Yeah, I don't want to do that, but I would go just because it was y' all and he wanted to do it because he wasn't no fisherman either, but he did it because y' all wanted to do it.
Chloe Chrisley
So that would you say that's extremely important to kind of have a real
Nanny Faye Chrisley
good connection because you like to play golf and he doesn't, but he goes with you that shows support and that he's trying to make a connection with you because that's what you like.
Chloe Chrisley
See, I love that. So. And do you think that my generation struggles with that?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
They do, because it's their way or the highway?
Chloe Chrisley
Mm. I would have to agree with that. So what would you say is the. What would you challenge people to do that are listening?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I would say get up, have a good attitude, respect your partner, and they need to respect you.
Chloe Chrisley
And maybe would you challenge people to maybe go do something that they don't want to do but that their partner
Podcast Host / Sponsor Voice
really wants to do?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Yeah, you get up and do it. I've done a lot of things I didn't want to do, but I did it for my family and for him. I like to see him happy. Sometimes that's just like, one day he had to work, and I was out. So now you know how I get up early. I clean, had everything done. He always cut the grass. I never cut the grass, but the grass needed cutting. He's working. So I go out there and fire up that lawnmower, and I cut that grass. I thought I did a good job. Blowed off the driveway. And when he came in, he said, who butchered my yard? I said, I did. He said, well, you didn't have to cut the grass, so don't be cutting it no more. I never cut grass no more.
Chloe Chrisley
See, I think you did it on purpose so you'd never miss it.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
No, if I did, I wouldn't even went out there because he didn't ask me. I just thought I was going to feed Johnny B. Good, so he didn't have anything to do when he come home. I had the house clean. I cut the grass, blowed the driveway off. I was good. Who butchered my grass? I did. But he cut his a different way. He cut his same way all the time. And he never put his lawnmower up and he didn't wash it.
Chloe Chrisley
I love that.
Nanny Faye Chrisley
He went, took that hose, he washed his lawnmower off. He had a towel, he dried it off, and he parked it in the garage.
Chloe Chrisley
I love that. All right, Nanny, so before we close out this episode, what do you want people to know about you that they don't?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
Well, my life's been open book, so they know everything about me. They know I'm kind, I'm sweet, and I'm just me.
Chloe Chrisley
Well, what do you want your legacy to be when you leave this earth? What do you want people to say about you?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
That she was a sweet, kind lady.
Chloe Chrisley
I love that. All right, is there anything else you want to say to everybody before we wrap up?
Nanny Faye Chrisley
I love all my fans, all my friends, and don't forget, y' all follow me on TikTok.
