And I'm flying solo today. It has been a while since I've done a solo episode. And your girl is prepared. Let me tell you, Unlocked is going to look a little different moving forward. I now am actually taking the time to prep for my episodes. Not that I wasn't before. I would definitely prep for my guest, but I never like to prep too much because I wanted to hear things for the first time. But I'm starting to realize that the episodes go a lot smoother when I prep. I have my questions in place and it gives you guys exactly what you're listening to. Okay. I don't want to just throw things together anymore. My life is finally becoming organized. Hallelujah. Thank goodness. But today we are going to talk about pop culture takes. And then we're gonna do a little Q and A at the end. So I'm excited because pop culture is definitely my thing. And now it's time to kind of talk about what's on going, going on in the universe today. Are you team Blake Lively or are you team Justin Baldoni? Now, we've all seen the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni drama that has been occurring, I feel like for the past year now. It has been going on for quite some time. And for those that don't know, Blake Lively sued her director for harassment and a smear campaign. When it comes to this case, the smear campaign truly is the real story. This also reminds me of the whole fiasco that happened with Taylor Swift and her masters. Years ago when it came to Scooter Braun. And obviously, I know so many people are Team Taylor Swift. Dear God, I don't want to get in that battle. I don't need the Swifties coming after me. Okay. But if I can remember properly, I know I'm not going to get all the details 100% correct, but Taylor Swift was wanting to regain control of her masters and her work, but she had signed a contract, I think that gave that to the record label or publisher at the time. And then she wanted to complain when she wanted the ownership back. And that's just not how it works. You sign a document, you sign over rights, and you need to know what rights you're signing over. So I find that to be very interesting. I also think what's super interesting to point out, and the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni situation, her public approval in 2023 was 81%, which is a very high public approval. And then by 2026, her public approval at a whopping 10%. So she went from 81% public approval down to 10% in a matter of three years. That is absolutely insane. And that also goes to show you the power of social media, the power of Tik Tok, the power of all of you, and your ability to not just listen to the headlines. I have seen people on TikTok truly dissect this case and find all the information and go against the grain and maybe call out lies that are being told on both sides. But then I also look at it from a different perspective, and I think this perspective comes from my own family's situation when it comes to the legal system. And when I see the public approval change in such a drastic way that tells you that the Internet convicted her before a jury ever could, my heart truly does hurt for Justin Baldoni because the movie that they were working on, it ends with us. That was his, like, pride and joy. That was his little baby. It was one heck of a movie. I don't watch movies multiple times. I just. It. But that movie I did. And that was probably one of his life's biggest accomplishments or career's biggest accomplishments. And it got taken from him. It got taken from him because Blake Lively had something she wanted to prove or she needed something or she wanted more notoriety, more money. Who knows what it is that she wanted. But I think it was at his own premiere. He couldn't even truly be at the forefront of it. And that is really sad. So when it comes down to it, like I said at the beginning, I would tell you whose side I was on. And I'm really thinking I'm team Justin Baldoni when it comes to this. I've seen a lot of messiness on Blake Lively's part. I have seen text messages between she and Taylor Swift. There was a text message or an email that was circulating between the two of them. And I believe, don't quote me, but I believe that Taylor Swift was upset because it seemed like Blake Lively only had a relationship with her when she needed something. At first, they had a true, genuine friendship. And then I think things started to shift. And I also am going to give Justin Baldoni credit because she and her husband are two of the biggest actors. They have an unbelievable amount of money, and he didn't care. He was going to fight back to clear his name against allegations that have been made against him, and he was going to fight for his project that he was so proud of. So not only has Justin Baldoni and and Blake Lively been in the spotlight, but we have had Taylor Frankie Paul in the spotlight. I feel like that is all I have seen. And for those that don't know, Taylor Frankie Paul is the Bachelorette. And ABC canceled her season three days before the premiere after a video surfaced of a 2023 domestic violence incident that involved her child. Her child was there in the room when this incident occurred. And I'm not gonna lie, it was very troubling for me to watch. I'm not sitting here saying that she was the only one at fault or that Dakota, her boyfriend at the time, I'm not saying that he didn't do anything. I'm going off of the video footage that we have seen. And the video footage was extremely disturbing. You saw Taylor Frankie Paul pick up a metal bar stool and throw it across the room. You also saw her hitting this man. And it's. To me, I have never. I have never laid my hands on someone. That is just not the answer. I don't care what someone does in a relationship. You do not lay your hands on someone. I just don't believe that that's how you resolve conflict. And it's just not a healthy pattern to get in for you or your partner. I also think what's really important to point out is we do live in a time to where it seems like people automatically assume a woman is the only one that suffers from domestic violence. And that just is not the truth. I have brothers, and it worries me for them because it seems like the moment something. First off, the moment domestic violence is alleged, you can't take that back. The person who was accused of domestic violence will always have that scarlet letter on them for the rest of their life. So I think before we as the public judge, we have to see all of the proof and documentation, because living in the public eye, I know how things go. I have never and will never sell a story to a tabloid or I have never and will never try and tell a tabloid my side of the story and try to create the narrative that goes along with it. I just don't believe in that. I believe that the truth should be told at all times. And if I have something to say, I'm going to say it on my platforms and not be cheap and conniving and go to a tabloid and do it. It's just not who I am. But when it comes to this situation, I think what's extremely important is to point out that there's a video. So this is not a he said, she said. You have body cam footage. You also have her child that is involved in this. And that's what we have to go back to, the welfare of children. We must at all times protect our children. And that's saying, if you see something going on in someone else's relationship and a child is being harmed, it is your responsibility to report that. Because what if you didn't report it and something happened to that child? Would you ever be able to live with yourself? I know I wouldn't be able to. And with Taylor, Frankie, Paul, what's also important to point out is the DA declined to file charges. Now, that is not the same thing as saying it didn't happen, because we've all seen with our eyes that it, in fact did happen exactly how I am saying it happened, because there's a video to go along with it. So I would love to know why the DA declined to file charges. I find that to be very interesting. And that tells me, who knows, maybe there was domestic violence on both sides. Y', all. I have to talk about something that I think every woman can relate to, and that is spending your whole life tolerating abroad. That is either digging into you, falling down, or just not doing what it's supposed to do. I just got the honeylove Cross Flex Activity bra in sand. And I'm not exaggerating when I say I did not want to take it off. I mean, I put it on and I just kept waiting for the thing that was going to be wrong with it. The wire poking me, the band rolling. I mean, something. And, well, it just didn't happen. It's wireless but it's actually supportive. They use something called cloud fuse bonding that replaces underwire so you get the lift and the hold without anything digging into you. The silicone cushion band gives you 360 degree smoothing and it stays put. I wore it all day and forgot I even had it on. So I would really love to know why the DA declined to file charges. But what's kind of jumping to something else that I find extremely interesting is that ABC pulled a fully filmed season only three days out from the. From the premiere. So this is obviously ABC having accountability at a network level. They are taking accountability and they are. Or let me rephrase that, they are holding Taylor Frankie Paul accountable for her actions. I do have somewhat of a problem with this because that video was in 2023. She had already. She has. She had already had legal consequences or charges filed or she had. She was on probation. There was something of that nature. And when these networks are spending millions and millions of dollars on a TV show, they know everything about you, especially a dating show. They know all of your deepest, darkest secrets. So you are not going to tell me that ABC did not know about Taylor Frankie Paul's past and the domestic violence that had occurred? I just don't know if I believed that. I just don't know if I Believe that they did not know. And then they waited three days before the premiere to pull it. So that that gives me a little pause. It causes me to question abc. It honestly, though, is not a shock to me because I have been in the world of TV long enough to know that these networks do not care about you as a person. Producers do not care about you as a person. They can say they do all they want to say, but at the end of the day, you are a dollar sign to them. They are going to look at how they can market you, how much money they can make, how much viewership they will get. That just is what it is. It's not to say that these people are bad people. This is a business. And for those of us that are in tv, we are looking to make money. We know that this is a business. So you got to take feelings out of it. I just don't believe that the Bachelorette franchise didn't know about everything that was going on. So that was a risk for them to have Taylor Frankie Paul on as the Bachelorette. I also think that, you know, the Bachelor Bachelorette franchise, it has gone downhill since Chris Harrison left. Chris Harrison was the Bachelor and Bachelorette franchise. He was. And I truly believe the ABC was looking to revive this franchise by having Taylor Frankie Paul's Secret Life of Mormon Wives on as the Bachelorette. Brilliant move on their part, but they should have known all of the skeletons in the closet before doing that. They should have gotten ahead of it. And I also think it's kind of negligent on their part to have Taylor Frankie Paul honest the Bachelorette, and have all of these men on there with her, having the history that she has with domestic violence. That just is what it is. I mean, I would be raising mortal hell if I were these men. Because ABC nor the production company, they weren't looking out for these men. That is a red flag. What I also feel is a red flag is that Taylor Frankie Paul is already posting on social media. I mean, from the moment the news came out, she started posting. She was going back at people. Someone said, girl, I would stay off social media if I were you. And she said, oh, what am I supposed to do? Just like sit in my house? It was something of that nature. I'm not wording it word for word, but yes, girl, that's exactly what you need to do. You need to sit in your house with a therapist. You need to go to an intensive therapy program. I have done it. And I'm not saying this to be hateful, but Sometimes you gotta hear things you don't want to hear. I know that I have been in a very self destructive phase in life and I didn't want to hear anything. I didn't want anyone to tell me anything. But I know I needed to hear it at that time so I could have been pissed off at the person saying what they were saying to me. But people are just trying to help. And when you see domestic violence like what we have seen on the video, there are some core problems there. There's maybe some trauma that has not been worked through. There's some self regulation that needs to happen. So I do believe that it's too soon for Taylor Frankie Paul to be posting about healing and this and that. Part of me feels like it's just a stunt to rehab the image that is out there. It's a stunt to get back on Real Life of Mormon Wives or to kind of bring her bachelorette season back to life. I personally feel it's a little bit of a money grab. I could be totally wrong. We all have different ways of healing. So I think I'm interested to hear the audience point of view. Is it too soon for Taylor Frankie Paul to be posting on social media about healing and all of these things or when is it too soon? I feel like there's going to be people on opposite sides of this argument and that's okay. We can agree to disagree, but let's do it respectfully. The last thing I want to touch on is what does this mean for who reality TV trusts with a platform. Do you think that there needs to be more checks and balances in place? Because I do. I also think that production companies and networks need to be held accountable and they need to do their research. I also think we are living in such a time. I mean, heck, only Fans was like the highest grossing platform by a ton of money. That should be troubling to all of us who are going out here, starting, you know, getting married, starting families, having children. Is that what you want your child watching? Why can't we go back to a time in tv to where it's like the Golden Girls, okay? To where it's American Idol. It is shows that make you feel good about yourself. It shows that make you feel good about life. To where we see people on TV who motivate and who have morals and who are living life the right way. I think that TV should trust more people like that with a platform. Instead of people who want turmoil and chaos and profanity. Let's go back to a Time to where we don't have to worry about turning on the TV and what's going to pop up for our children to see. That's just my opinion. All right, guys, can we talk about sleep for a second, please? Because I genuinely think it's one of the most underrated things that we do for ourselves. Like everything. Your mood, your focus, how you show up. It all starts with. With how you slept the night before. And I spent way too long sleeping on a mattress that was just not doing the job. Brooklyn Bedding has completely changed that for me. And what I love about this brand is the story behind it. The founder, his name's John. He didn't come from some big corporate background. He literally studied mattresses, bootstrapped the whole thing, and built his own factory from the ground up in Arizona. No middlemen, no gimmicks, just real American craftsmanship and a product he actually stands behind. And you can feel it. The Aurora luxe cooling mattress has been so good, I wake up feeling like my body actually got to rest. It's supportive in the right places, and I'm not tossing and turning trying to get comfortable. And for anyone who sleeps hot, Brooklyn Bedding uses temperature regulating materials, so that's not even an issue. They also give you 120 night comfort trial, so you can actually live with it before you commit. And they've been named best mattress by CNET and best hybrid mattress by Wirecutter. All. I feel like getting dressed used to stress me out way more than it should. I mean, I'd stand in my closet and just stare at everything, and nothing felt right. And then I started being more intentional about the pieces I was actually reaching for. And it changed my everything. Quince has been such a big part of that for me. I'm somebody who wants to look put together without spending an hour thinking about it. And their stuff just works. The fabric feels elevated, the fits are flattering, and I'm not spending a fortune to feel that way. The linen pieces especially. I mean, I've been living in them. Lightweight, breathable, and they look way more expensive than they actually are. Here's the thing. With quintessential they price everything 50 to 80% less than similar brands because they cut out the middlemen and work directly with ethical factories. You're paying for the quality and the craftsmanship, not brand markup. I mean linen pants, dresses, tops, all starting at $30. I genuinely double checked the price the first time I ordered. Khloe Kardashian I don't know about you guys, but when it comes to the Kardashian family, Khloe Kardashian is my absolute favorite. Kardashian. Just she is who she is. I feel like she is a phenomenal mother. She is very motivational. I love her podcast. Khloe Kardashian has announced a Hulu show for all of her best friends titled the Girls and I am so excited for that. I think it's going to be extremely fun. I'm not sure if she is going to be in the show. I mean, is she stepping back and handing the platform to her girls? And if she is, what does that say about her? What does that say about her loyalty? If I were the women on this show, I would not take that lightly. I think it's absolutely amazing that she is doing this show for Hulu and that she is giving her friends a platform. She has seen how she has succeeded and excelled in life with the platform that she was giving and now she's giving these women an opportunity to do the same and not a Lot of people would do that. So I'm telling you right now, I want more friends like Khloe Kardashian because for her to do this, I mean, that's a once in a lifetime opportunity for most people. And am so excited to see how these women jive, what their relationships are like. And I'm excited to see if Chloe Kardashian is, in fact going to make a little cameo on the show. I believe she will. But I also know that she is producing this show, so it will be one to watch. Hulu, I am so excited. I hope that this is a fun show and not filled with chaos after chaos, and I believe that it will be. I also think something that's really cool is that the Kardashians have been on TV for 20 years and they are still launching TV shows. And I feel like a lot of people are like, okay, why are you doing this? You have all the fame, you have all the fortune. Why in the heck are you still launching TV shows? And I think it just goes to show the hustle that this family has. People can say whatever they want to say about the Kardashians. What you cannot say is they are not hard workers. Because everything that they do, I mean, I am in awe. I am in awe of it all. So good for them. Keep launching your brands, keep, you know, producing your TV shows. Go for it. I also want to mention another TV show that is coming out because I was scrolling through TikTok and I stopped because it just caught my attention. It seemed like it was going to be just like a roller coaster ride. It seemed like such a great life. And that is Stacy Schroeder. And she was actually canceled back in 2020, but now she's getting her own series which premieres July 29th. And that goes to Cancel Culture. Do you believe in Cancel Culture? Do you not? I have a really hard time with Cancel Culture because we all make mistakes in life, and it doesn't mean you should have to suffer from those mistakes for the rest of your life. Now, do I believe that you should have some consequences? Sure. Should you maybe be put on hold? Yes. Should you have to meet certain criteria to get back to where you were? 100%. But I am really excited to see this show of Stacy Schroeder's and see what her comeback is going to look like? Because I'm not going to lie, she does. She looks fabulous. Okay. But we'll see how that turns out. I mean, let's face it, reality tv, it continues to evolve and as someone who has grown up in it, I'm skeptical to know where the world of reality television is going to go. We're in a very interesting place and time right now when it comes to these networks and streaming services. I think we also see how much content is being pushed out on a daily basis on Instagram, tick tock, YouTube. People's at home productions are getting even better and better. Also, with the world of AI, just about anything can be done today. So I don't know how much longer these normal format reality shows are going to go on for. I feel like production companies can't make as much money as they used to make, which then means talent is not going to be getting paid what they're used to getting paid. Which I think in turn will lead to more talent saying no to these TV shows because they're just not making enough money to justify the time they spent away from home to do that. And I also think that content creators and are getting smarter and realizing that they don't have to have a big production company behind them to put out this content. And I know for me, I wake up in the morning, I scroll, I see content. It's so easily accessible in today's day and age. And we all are from the I want it now state. So when we go on social media and we see it, we want it right then we don't like to wait for a TV show to air. And so I'm a little skeptical as to, as to where the world of TV is going and reality television as a whole. Now move on from all of our hot topics and the world of tv. Justin Baldoni again, I am team Justin Baldoni. Just who, just how I am. I am. I see through it. I see through all the Blake Lively messages. I feel like she is a very messy person and trust me, I know some people like that. And when I tell you messy, I mean messy. But someone like Blake Lively, she is so good at being messy and then playing the victim, in my opinion. I feel like she is the type of person that says sets the house on fire. And then it's like, oh my God, why is it burning down? Girl, it's burning down because of you. You. You set the house on fire. Remember that? But again, moving on from that, we're going to do a little Q and A and I asked you all on social media for the questions. So I'm going to go off of my phone for this part and I'm going to read each question before answering. Visit goodgirlrx.com and use code UNLOCKED15 to get 15% off at checkout. Questions for the Podcast I think this is a great question to start off on. Todd Chrisley asks, why do you not treat your dad better and buy him nicer gifts? Well, Father, I would say I am the greatest gift giver of all of your children. Okay, and I'm just gonna leave that little bomb there. How was my egg retrieval? Let's see. Caitlin Goodman asks, how was the egg retrieval? Guys, that process was absolutely insane. I felt terrible. I was super puffy. My face, my body, my emotions were all over the place and I was really nervous. It's so easy to get wrapped up in the actual treatment process. All the shots, the ultrasounds, the blood work, doctor's appointments. But it's the silent killer that people don't talk about. And that is all the waiting time, the pressure that you Put on yourself feeling scrolling through TikTok and saying, this person got 30 eggs or 20 eggs or 50 eggs, and you're like, oh, my gosh, I hope I get that. And for me and my first round of egg retrieval, I got 12. I, of course, was a little disappointed at first. I was like, gosh, why didn't I get more? Because as they go through each process of, you know, maturing and fertilizing and embryos, PGT testing, you lose eggs along the way. And my doctor said for every child that you want to have, you need to have two to three embryos for each child. So if I want three eggs, I need at least. If I want three children, I need at least six healthy embryos at the absolute least. So that kind of sucks. I am probably gonna go through another round. I think I may switch up clinics for my next round. Not that my clinic was bad by any means, but I think I just want more personalized care. I want to see my doctor at my ultrasound appointments, and that's just what I need to feel good. But looking back at the whole process, I'm not disappointed that I only got 12 eggs. I am actually really proud of myself and I am in such awe of the female body and what we put ourselves through just in order to have children. I mean, our bodies are so amazing and resilient that we can carry our another human life inside of us, that our bodies are helping to create human life. That's absolutely amazing. So if you're going through this process, if you're going through infertility, cut yourself some slack. Be grateful for the fact that you're able to go through the process. Be grateful that your body is working day in and day out to help you have a family. So that's where I'm at. I'm so sorry is Good Girl Rx except expensive to get? So for those that don't know what Good Girl Rx is, it is my female focused health and wellness company and it has been such a blessing in my life. My team and I have worked tirelessly to create a brand that helps people. It is very female focused. I just felt like there was a lack in healthcare for women. I feel like so many women show up at the doctor's office and they feel left there. Or maybe GLP1 treatment hasn't been easily accessible. It's extremely expensive when you try to just go out here and get it from your doctor and there were so many people that needed it but they just didn't have the money to get it. So with Good Girl Rx you can start a GLP1 for as low as $134 a month. Month? That is absolutely insane. Just think about this. $134 is most likely in today's day and age. One meal with you and your friend. When you add alcohol and food that is one meal, $134 and you're doing this for your health. Your health is the only thing that is going to get you through life. You have to be in top notch health so you can make sure you're around not only for your children but your grandchildren and GLP1s. There's so much research coming out about it now, especially with microdosing GLP1s and we also offer a microdosing plan and this is for people who don't necessarily need to lose weight but they want to work on certain blood markers or you want to lower inflammation. GLP1s have been shown to lower inflammation in your body. I just had on Natalie Crawford who is a double board certified fertility doctor and she stated that GLP1s were amazing for lowering all of the inflammation in your body before trying to get pregnant or starting a cycle for ivf. So if you are interested in exploring Good Girl rx or exploring GLP1s, you can head to Good Girl Rx and you can actually use code UNLOCKED15 for 15% off of your order. So Good Girl RX and code unlocked for 15% off of your order. Someone really sweet said, you need to slow down. You look overwhelmed and I'm worried about you burning out. That is possibility, right? We can all burn out. I have been going really hard recently, but the way that I look at it is I am young. I do want to build a life for myself. I try to give myself some time off, but there's a motto that I kind of go by and it's if you don't, someone else will. So if there's an opportunity that you don't sign up for, someone else will. And that could be. That could have been your make or break moment. That could have been the moment that sent your career to the sky. So that's just who I am. I'm going to continue to work and build a life for myself because it makes me happy. But you did just remind me I do need to slow it down at times. So thank you. Are you ready to be a mom? When the time is right, you'll be a great mom. I absolutely love this question and thank you for your compliment as well. I am so excited to be a mom. For those that know me, I have always said I know that God meant for me to be a mom. If I don't do anything right in my life, being a mom will be the one thing I know I will do right. I think it is so amazing to go out here and have children and put goodness into the world and teach your children to be good, kind, decent human beings. I cannot wait for the day that I have my babies and I have my husband and I can look at my life and say, this is what little me always fought to have. So I can't wait for that moment. And once I do it, you guys will be along for the ride. What are all of your jobs? Oh, goodness. All of my jobs. Real estate. I still have my real estate license and practice here in Nashville, Tennessee. I have my podcast Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley. I am in the process of writing a book now with Harper Collins. I also have my business Good Girl Rx and I do all of my political advocacy work. So five jobs right there. I don't know how I do it, but I find a way to do it all And I absolutely love it. Every single job that I have fulfills me in a different way. What skincare do you use daily? Okay, one of my absolute best friends in the entire world, Candace Candice Moreno. Her Instagram is La Facialist or the LA Facialist. It's one of the two. But she is your go to skin girl. She does consultations online. I get all of my skin care from her. I use the Jan Marini skin system. It is saving grace for my skin and she's just my go to everything skin girl. So go give her a follow. She's absolutely amazing. Honest thoughts on the Erica Kirk Rumors slash not rumors only if comfortable with answering. When it comes to this topic of conversation, I will forever defend my friend Erica Kirk. What she has gone through is something none of us should ever have to see. And luckily I don't think most of us ever will. She watched her husband get assassinated in front of the world. Her husband got taken from her in a second. Not only did her husband get taken, but the father of her children got taken. The amount of grief that she is suffering and not able to process because the world wants to continue to hammer her and accuse her and assassinate her character and love for her husband. I mean, in my opinion, it is uncalled for. It should not be happening. And not only is she trying to grieve, but she's also trying to carry on the legacy that her husband left behind. He would have wanted nothing more than for her to step in as the role of CEO of Turning Point USA and run that business. And that is exactly what she is doing. So I would encourage us all to have more grace for her. Have more grace for the widow who is feeling an immense amount of heartache and loss and not knowing who to turn to or who to trust. I will forever support Erica and love her as a person. And even for those who don't agree politically, we can all agree that what she went through no one should ever have to go through. Okay, I'm going to answer one last question and it is the question that everyone is asking My dating life. Are you dating? Who are you dating? When are we going to find out? Yes, I am dating someone and I am extremely happy and just fulfilled in life. I feel like where I'm at in life is the moment that I had always dreamt of but never thought was possible. I am with someone who loves me, respects me. He's my biggest cheerleader when it comes to my business. He is helping me grow it. He's absolutely brilliant. He is just a kind, decent man. Heck, he's far more than decent. Okay? He is just an amazing man and what every woman should look for. Someone who is loyal. He's a fighter. He is soft when he needs to be. He's a hard ass when he needs to be. He is just the epitome of a perfect partner. So I am dating. I have kept it out of the public eye and I will continue to do so until I feel that it is right. He is not a public figure so he deserves that privacy. But there will be a time when you find out about it. It may not be till after I'm married, but you will find out about it. So until next time, thank you guys for listening. I am so blessed and honored to have you as a listener or a watcher of Unlocked.
