Oh, babysitters.
Sid
Oh, welcome babysitters. Don't know if y' all heard or.
TP
Might notice our outfits today, but we're obviously psychic.
Sid
We told y', all, we told y'. All, we told y' all what would happen and it happened. Cheryl did what? Got fined.
TP
She did.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
But she didn't actually hit anybody, though.
Sid
It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter.
TP
But she's now she's a solidified number one.
Sid
Yeah. She said somebody tweeted. Cheryl said, ain't gonna be no code. And that goes hand in hand with my soapbox rant last episode. There should be no codes. Somebody needs to be a clear cut winner. Cheryl said, I'll take that. So yeah, y', all, we may tell.
TP
So congratulations to Cheryl.
Sid
Congratulations, Cheryl. Shout out to you, baby.
TP
Our solo winner.
Unsupervised Rapper
Unsupervised. Unsupervised. Unsupervised. Yeah. Yes. Yes. Yeah, we say what we want and yeah, we say what we feel Sitting tmp of the mix and they be keeping it real on brand, off topic, out of pocket, Anything you need, they got it. Why don't you shout when you know they going to block it? When it's game time and you know I'm going to block it. We cover everything like harder than us and yeah, we looking down on haters cuz they smaller than us and yeah, my flow is so damn sick I be coughing it up. You said that we going flat. Well then I'm calling your bl.
TP
All right, guys, this is a very special episode. Why? Well, we hit double digits, y'. All. We haven't gotten canceled before double digits. So. Shout out to unsupervised.
Sid
Shout out.
TP
Shout out to you guys. We'd like to thank our listeners, our viewers. And someone we'd also like to thank is our sponsors. Again, foreshadowing. We used it. We have 10 tallies on here. No sponsors, 10 episodes. So we're still in the search. We're still in the hunt for that perfect partner. All right, Sid.
Sid
Yeah, you're so right. You're so so.
TP
Thanks to our sponsors.
Sid
All right, tb. A lot went down in the playoffs.
TP
A lot did go down. It's Juicy. Juicy in the playoffs.
Sid
So Minnesota lost to Phoenix in what, Game four.
TP
Yeah, Game four.
Sid
Nafisa got hurt at the end of the game. Cheryl was livid. Obviously this is what caused her to get fined. The statement she made in. In, in postgame media saying that the bad officiating and.
TP
Wait, maybe I should say it.
Sid
Go ahead.
TP
Are if you repeat it will you get fined? Oh, we can't afford to find said we don't have any sponsors, so I'm going to say. So Cheryl got fined for just going in on the officiated.
Sid
This is Cheryl Reeves, by the way, everyone. The Minnesota Links head coach.
TP
Our. Our solo winner of the unnecessary award. Cheryl was complaining about the refs saying that, you know, essentially the whistles have been bad. All year long. They've been complaining, complaining, complaining. Everybody has. From number one team in the league to the last team in the league. Everybody has been consistent. Exactly. And what the officiating has looked like. And Cheryl finally went off, which caused the substantial fine. But again, we have even coaches after the fact agreeing beforehand and after the fact about what Cheryl said.
Sid
Yeah, and also.
TP
And also getting fined a lesser amount than Cheryl.
Sid
Yeah, but she said it was like, it was borderline malpractice, what was taking place with the officiating.
TP
And also over the years, Sid, like, and I'll say this, the officiating has never really been great. Like, we've had years and years and years of struggle trying to understand why we can't, you know, have better officiating. And not in terms of, like, everybody makes mistakes. We understand that these are humans. We understand that, like, there's human error involved. But what isn't, okay, is the injuries that could happen because of this. The style of play that has come of it. And what is allowed and what's not allowed, the inconsistency. Because when you start a game, some teams believe in the fact that you can't call every foul. So you start off really aggressive.
Sid
Yeah, right.
TP
And as the game goes on, the whistle, the whistle gets a little bit different. And it's really hard as a player to gauge how the referee is going to officiate the way you're playing the game, which could look one way for a certain player and one in a completely different way for another player in the exact same game. So here we're dealing with a situation that's been forever long. And it just came to a head because this was an upset, a number one getting taken down by Phoenix.
Sid
Mm. Yeah.
TP
It didn't even make it to a game five because of, you know, in Cheryl's opinion, what came down to this last call.
Sid
Well, the thing, I mean, to. To that point, Nafisia Nafisa. Nafisia Nafisa's comments in, like, their exit interviews or her statement to the press, she essentially said, like, this isn't about winning or losing. It's about something much bigger. The Real threat to our league isn't money. It isn't ratings or even missed calls or even physical play. It's the lack of accountability from the league office. Since I've been in the league, you've heard the constant concerns about officiating. And it has now reached levels of inconsistency that plague our sport and undermine the integrity in which it operates. Whether the league cares about the health of the players is one thing, but to also not care about the product we put on the floor is truly self sabotage. Year after year, the only thing that remains consistent is the lack of accountability from our leaders. And to me, that was. She went in way harder than that. But just that comment, like, calling out. She later goes on to call out Kathy, like, directly. And things that she said in private.
TP
Private conversation.
Sid
Private conversations. But it's like it's gotten to the point where the private conversations are no longer effective. And obviously we're in the middle of. Or like we're. Yeah, we're in the middle of CBA negotiations. A lot of players feel like we should be making more than what we're making. But Cathy's response to Nafisa was that, you know, I think she brought up, like, players like Caitlin Angel Paige should not be making what they're making, you know, on their rookie contracts. And she said those players should something like, be on their.
TP
Be on their knees and be thanking her.
Sid
And be thanking her. A lot of the things that she says are very. They sound very, like, cringy and like, very, like me, focused. Like, it's not just about you getting credit for stuff. Like there's a product that people come to see and that's the players. Like, without players in any league, people aren't paying attention because then where would the entertainment come from?
TP
This is the thing that really irritates me to this point, is that you're selling teams now in the WNBA for over $250 million. I don't know the exact number, but you're evaluating a single team to be valued at 250 million. If you're selling it for that. Right. If your salary cap. And also this is an exact number, please look this up yourself. But the salary cap for the WNBA, each team is like 1.4 or to $1.7 million. So what you're saying is that the team's evaluated to be worth $250 million, and if you took away the 12 players that are valued at 1.7 million, max. I don't know exactly the numbers. Once again, so you take those 12 players out, what's your team valued at now? What are people going to come to watch? Like, what are you evaluating? So if it's not the players, if it's not the. If it's not what they're doing on the court, then what.
Sid
Where would the.
TP
What are you evaluating here? Exactly.
Sid
But this is the thing, you know, it's good to see players who are star players on their team starting to say things like directly, not like beating around the bush. Call a spade a spade, say exactly what it is. Because now players don't have to have that fear about if I speak out about what's wrong or that we don't feel is equitable or just right now in the league, then I won't have a league to play in. Which was like our stance in future. I mean, in past CBA negotiations, a lot of people, you're just. You're gonna take what you can. Cause there's not really other options. You don't really have a lot to bargain with. People didn't care about the WNBA like that. So there's not. You don't have really a leg to stand on. But now in this age of social media, this age of all these players coming in with their fan bases from college, people having new. Like there being new leagues that are started in the off season. I mean, with at least unlimited and unrivaled Nafisa and Stewie can. They could say whatever they wanted to say about what Cathy is doing. Like, players don't have to fear that if I take issue with what's going on from the top in the W, I will be without a job because now people know I have something else to fall back on. Like, you see the sponsorships that they've gotten at Unrival. We saw that last season. I've seen what Athletes Unlimited has done since season one and how @ what we're about to be in season five, how much growth there's been, how much change there's been. There's been how much the salaries have increased. So now you're able to get better players. And that will obviously drive more sponsors in the future if you're getting notable names. But players don't have to feel like you're like being pigeonholed now. Like, if we don't like what the CBA is talking about, we can absolutely say we're not approving this.
TP
And I hate when people come up to the table. I was a player up for years and years and years. I actually accidentally found out that I was a Player rep. My second year in the league, I got a congratulations email from the WNBA and I was like, oh my God, five all Stars, I'm getting credit for something. I opened it up and it said, you've been selected as your team rep. And I was like, what does this even mean? Well, I was thanklessly a team rep for countless years and we have been bringing these type of issues to the table for years. At the time, the money wasn't the same, the marketing wasn't the same, the type of athlete, the carryover from college wasn't the same, Social media wasn't the same. So right now we've had these conversations behind closed doors for years and years and years. And the only way, and I think this is Nafisa's point of bringing it to the table and Cheryl's point by speaking up in her post game is that now we have public accountability. You bring it to social, you bring it into your postgame talks.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
Now you have fans and you have people chiming in because everybody feels it. And if you don't hear people saying it out loud, you're like, well, why aren't they? Why aren't they talking about it? Why aren't they? So if the league's not going to address it head on from the top, then it just falls on the fact that people have to use their platforms in the way that they can. And that looks in the form of social media, that looks in the form of post game press, that looks in the form of Twitter, Instagram, whatever. It looks like if you put out one simple tweet, it's going to hold somebody accountable to a certain extent. And also the bigger platform, the bigger player, the bigger following, the more people it's going to touch, the more people have awareness of the issue, the faster it could get through. Yeah, Sid, I just noticed that we, we lost the sponsor. So not only do we not have sponsors, but we lost the word sponsor as well. We're off, we're all good.
Sid
Nothing changed. Another crazy thing she said though was that she said to to Fee because Fee asked, how do we plan to address the officiating issues in our league? She said, well, only the losers complain about the refs.
TP
Right.
Sid
Which just also is not true.
TP
Our championship season, we won. We were the absolute winners. We were number one, baby. And we had a huge issue with the refs, like it was still a problem. And we weren't losers by any means necessary. Yeah, but there was always an issue. Just because you win doesn't mean you don't have an issue. And you're not a loser for thinking that there is an issue.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
You're bringing an issue to the table. And up to this point, it was respectfully behind closed doors, and nothing's been done. Time and time again, nothing's been done. People have been criticized and now fined or people have been getting fined, but, like, fined to this extent.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
For public critiques of what they feel like. Also, this isn't like something that we do as a hobby. This is people's livelihood. This is how people make money. Your body is your business. So when injuries happen, your business is out of commission. That's like shutting down shop for however long it takes to recover and come back.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
So I think people need to or the league needs to really come around and understand, like, that we're not. The players aren't fighting for anything that we don't deserve. We're not asking for anything out of the ordinary. We're asking for fair play, fair pay, and just. Just consistency throughout. And I think now more than ever, where you have the public being able to hold, you know, the higher ups of the league accountable, it's gonna be. It's gonna be an important time to see how the CBA turns out. Especially, like you said, with AU and unrivaled and all these other leagues now prepping, like, unrivaled added more teams to their list, potentially for a lockout, potentially not. But there's. There's different things in the works that people are planning. And I think now more than ever is the time where we've always had superstars that were capable of sitting out and making a push for more, whatever. Yeah, more change, more money, more whatever word you want to put behind that. And now we're sitting in a place where, you know, our superstars are super duper stars because of social media now, our games are impossible to watch. You don't have to, like, log on to an app, then get onto another app, get a code it, send it to your email. You have to double verify it. You're like, okay, I'm just. All that to say the game was blacked out on the app anyway, so you couldn't watch all this to say, like, now more than ever is a time where superstars are, especially superstars are willing to sit out because there is. There's something else side income coming from other leagues. There's other ways that you can make money without having to play overseas as well as overseas is still there.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
So, like, you have au, you have unrivaled and you have overseas. All things that, like, will still keep going regardless of the lockout or not.
Sid
Yeah. Okay. The last thing, though, on this is that she said what leadership should look like. She said it's the human element, it's basic integrity, and it's the bare minimum any leader should embody. This year alone, I've gotten calls, texts, and well wishes from so many players across the league. These moments remind me that sometimes there are bigger things. There are things bigger than the results in this game we played. Do you know who I haven't heard from? Kathy. Not one call, not one text. Instead, the outreach has come from her number two, telling my agent that she doesn't believe physical play is contributing to injuries. This is infuriating, and it's the perfect example of the tone deaf, dismissive approach that our leaders always seem to take. And I just want to say, with this, I will be running for commissioner. I'm now announcing that.
TP
Oh, congratulations, Sid.
Sid
No, but I think it's hilarious that she didn't get a text from Kathy. Yeah, because I was like, oh, I told my acl. I also didn't hear from her, so I guess we're the same over two. Did you?
TP
Kathy didn't even really know my name until I made fun of her all star trophy one time. Then she definitely knew who I was after that. Well, I'm sorry about not you not getting it texted. I know that. Oh, no, I know that would have made the world of a difference for you and your recovery.
Sid
Sick.
TP
Anyway, everyone does watch women's sports, so check out the finals coming up, y'.
Sid
All.
TP
Yeah, it's good stuff. It's good stuff.
Sid
Oh, it's a.
TP
Hell, yeah.
Sid
Your favorite time of year. Wow.
TP
You know what time it is? It's actually bittersweet for me. It means, like, WNBA's wrapping up, but that means football starring, baby. And I know, Sid, you have basic football knowledge. You're working on it. You're getting better. I'm not gonna let it down. Never will.
Sid
I know. I know what being in the pocket is. Stuff like that.
TP
Okay.
Sid
Dropping back, Dropping back. Just being in a pocket, seeing if they're switching coverage and stuff.
TP
What player does that? What player draws back in the pocket?
Sid
The quarterback. QB1.
TP
Oh, yeah. Said you do.
Sid
Whoa.
TP
Okay, so you have depth to your answers, too. That's insane. So it's. It's fall, y'. All. Yeah, it is fall. All things fall. I know we're. We're a little late. I think fall started.
Sid
Yeah, it's been Like, a week, something. But we're good.
TP
We're. We wanted to make sure it was fall before we said it was fall. We're like, all right. We're well into fall now.
Sid
I love dressing for fall. I'm really not, like, a huge fan of anything else, because in Houston, like, you can't tell that it's fall. It's not like you're changing colors, and it's beautiful. It's just like.
TP
It's like summer in other places.
Sid
Right.
TP
Like, I do like the fact that we can wear layers. That's my favorite thing about fall. Wearing layers. Beanies. Like, all the fall clothes. Excellent. Something we don't like about fall is, me, personally, just pumpkin spice lattes. I just don't. I just don't get it.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
I don't get what the craze is about it.
Sid
You said that they're not.
TP
And I.
Sid
But then you.
TP
I did say that they're nasty.
Sid
You said you haven't even tried them, though.
TP
Yeah. After, like, further review. I haven't tried a pumpkin spice latte.
Sid
Me neither. But I think it'll be nasty, too.
TP
Like, I. I don't know why I'm so passionate about hating it, because I've honestly never tried it before. But with that being said.
Sid
But that's what we're gonna.
TP
No.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
Man. Shout out to Allison.
Sid
Yeah, thanks, Allison.
TP
So thanks, Allison, for getting us our first ever pumpkin spice lattes from an unknown coffee source. Wait, I'm sit. Did you look in it? It's, like, orange. It looks like turmeric.
Sid
Yeah, it does look. It's turmeric. I mean, honestly, did you try it? Yeah.
TP
Okay.
Sid
It doesn't taste that pumpkiny to me. I've had a ch. I've had a chai latte before, and this didn't seem, like, too off from that.
TP
So this is why it's important, y'.
Sid
All to not judge stuff beforehand. You don't know what you'll like. That's what we're. That's what we're trying to tell y'. All.
TP
I still hate it. Like, I feel exactly the same way. Maybe a little bit more. Like, if somebody ordered for me, I'd say, oh, thanks. I would take a sip, and I wouldn't. Like.
Sid
You wouldn't cringe at it, but there's.
TP
No way I would finish that. No way.
Sid
All right, well, it's not good money.
TP
Sorry, Allison, but do appreciate you.
Sid
Thanks so much, girl.
TP
Sending. But now I can, like, stand on my passion for not liking it. You can I always knew that I wasn't gonna like it. That kind of solidified me not liking it.
Sid
We were psychic again.
TP
Yeah. I will say that I did do some research on this. I went through one coffee drive thru this morning.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
And I had to ask the people at the drive thru window, like, hey, how many people out of 10 order Pumpkin spice lattes? And said the number was shocking to me, especially now knowing what they taste like. It was five out of ten.
Sid
Dang.
TP
Really? There's so many coffee options. So many coffee options. And you choose 5 out of 10 people choose this. Please put in the comments why you like it. I just don't get it. Like, this is a talking point. I know.
Sid
This was like, well, nobody likes candy corn. And I don't get.
TP
I love candy corn.
Sid
I'm like, maybe it's just people like stuff when it's like that time of the year. You just want to be festive and be doing something that other people are doing. Because how you like candy corn is beyond me. But I'm not here to tell you.
TP
You don't like candy corn at all.
Sid
It's straight. Like, I've had times where I've eaten it, but I can't eat several of them in a row. I'm like, I might have one. And I'm like, all right, it wasn't the worst thing in the world. But that's no reason to eat it again. Just because it wasn't the worst thing in the world.
TP
If you line them up in the shape of a corn and you can, like stack them on top of each other, it builds into a corn.
Sid
Like, why would you know that?
TP
Because I have ADD and you, like, play with your food as a kid, and I did it a few times.
Sid
Oh, see, I never knew. I never knew that. I never knew that.
TP
Well, but you learn something new every day. Wait, I don't know. I. Candy corn is something different. I mean, maybe not because people equally are passionate about. It's like eggnog at Christmas time. Like, some people hate it, some people love it. I've had it. And for me, and it wasn't bad.
Sid
Then I had it again and it was awful. So maybe it's just.
TP
Oh, really? Yeah. I guess we need to do a Christmas time eggnog test as well.
Sid
Okay, I'm down.
TP
Well, till then, I'm not going to order a pumpkin spice latte ever again.
Sid
Me neither.
TP
That's.
Sid
Okay.
TP
That's over. Another thing that I can't stand about the fall.
Sid
Go.
TP
Another thing I cannot stand about the fall kind of goes hand in hand with the pumpkin spice lattes are fall scented candles. What the hell? What are we doing in the fall? You trying to ruin your house for a matter of months to make your house smell like autumn harvest? And let's just talk. Let's get into it a little bit. Sid.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
There's so many problematic and borderline racist names of fall candles that makes me so cringy. You walk in and it's like cotton, fresh cotton. And you're like, it's sitting next to like vanilla apple and cinnamon raisin. And you're like, damn, why do I like this one the best? You have guilt that you actually enjoy it. So what do you do? You secretly buy it, you sneak it onto the counter, you bring it home, you hurry up, you take that label off.
Sid
So no one like, no, White Barn is the brand.
TP
It's white. It's by White Barn sitting next to White Pumpkin. I'm just like, why don't we have diversity in these? So problematic.
Sid
That's also why it's important that this is in our off the bench segment. Because this, this has been on the bench for a year. It's like us in 2023, us in 2022 for the Aces.
TP
So pardon our fall announcement to bring you hot off the bench. Straight off the bench again. You can call it what you want.

Sid
But you found this hilarious article that is a year old. But go ahead and tell them what it like. Describe this for the people.
TP
So back in 2024, bath and body Works came out with a candle called Snowed In. It was part of a winter collection. They had a lot of candles that weren't problematic, but this one specifically, it is a candle that has A picture, a half picture of, I guess what they tried to make look like a cut out snowflake potentially. But really it just like looks like Klansmen staring at you in a semicircle. So people have referred to this candle as the Clandal.
Sid
Hilarious name, by the way.
TP
Bath and Body Works obviously went and took this one down as soon as they got public backlash. But if you look at the picture, we're gonna post a picture for you guys. Here it is. It's problematic to say the least. It's just a really awful look.
Sid
But it's hilarious to me because how did this get? Okay? Nobody looked at it and thought, okay, let's zoom out a little bit. Let's show more of the. More of the snowflake. This. This is scary. This looks like racist aliens coming down during.
TP
It's like racist aliens that you could have won at an arcade and they just like line them all up like crazy.
Sid
Alien Aliens in autumn is such a scary, like, concept. So I don't know how they got through, but it was hilarious. And yeah, they could have just used snow.
TP
You could have just used good old.
Sid
Snow just falling from the sky. We don't have to get too crazy.
TP
They went from snow bunny to snowed in to the Clando. So here we go.
Sid
So as we said y, everything is going to be fall. Everything is fall based, fall themed in this episode. Almost everything. And so don't worry about how much we reach to make it be fall. Fall in fail. Just go with it. Next up on the fall list.
TP
Last week, my fantasy football team, West Bank's finest. I do a fantasy league with my family and I took a L. I fell to my aunt Beth last week and Beth, I'm sorry to hear that. No, it was so hard to watch. Like, I bounced back this week against my. There's a small pot that everybody puts in for the winner. Third place gets their money back. Second place gets like 100 bucks and then first place gets the rest.
Sid
Okay.
TP
My cousin Austin is the commissioner. Shout out to Austin for running such a great, fun, exciting league we have.
Sid
Oh, is he the one that does the newsletter?
TP
The newsletter every week. He does a really great job. We're. We're invested into it. So when you take an L in fantasy, it's really hard. Fortunately for me, that fall didn't last too long. I'm now 3 and 1. I bounced back against him this week, so my fantasy football team's looking excellent. I'm praying for you.
Sid
I have no idea what you're talking about.
TP
I need Jaden Daniels to get healthy, so send in. Sending healing prayers out to you, my guy. We need you back on the field.
Sid
You think he's gonna see this?
TP
No, he definitely will see this.
Sid
Okay.
TP
So I've been trying to get Sid to play Fantasy for a few, I guess, like, two years now. There's actually no budge there. Yeah, it'll never happen, but hopefully, Sid, if you just, like, tried, though, there's a guy on the Internet, he. He's part of the community, and he. Yeah, that community. And he picked his teams based off of who had the best physiques and the best faces. And his team is doing pretty well on social media, so shout out to him. He also has beef with anyone that drafted a hot player before he could get to them. And if they do well that week, he goes on social and he criticizes the person that drafted, you know, people. I don't know what his team name is.
Sid
Okay. No, I just.
TP
I don't.
Sid
Like, who are the people that he picked who were his, like, good looking?
TP
I don't know who he finds cute.
Sid
I didn't.
TP
I don't remember, like, liking the same kind of guy as him because I'm like, if Jalen Hurts isn't on your team, then I'm not having that. Then you weren't really. You weren't really looking for an all star line up there.
Sid
Yeah, if I did. Okay. He did it based on looks on people without any domestic abuse charges, I guess.
TP
Slim Pickens. Oh, it's okay. You can make a team, though. You'll be able to build one.
Sid
I'm sure I would do it based off just who's from Texas. Probably just, like, Houston specifically. And then I'll, like, branch out a little bit.
TP
I never thought I would have to rely on the Cowboys, but I had two Cowboys players that pulled me through against Austin, so that's, like, the only thing the Cowboys have ever done for me in my life. But they're a Texas team.
Sid
It doesn't matter. People love that. They just love, I mean, America's team.
TP
I don't know. I love to hate on the Cowboys because I'm like, y' all haven't won a Super bowl in forever. I'm a Saints fan. No, they have. A long time ago in, like, the 80s. I don't even know how long ago, probably. Okay, G. No, like, before they. Before they started testing for concussions. Way back then.
Sid
That's not funny, so.
TP
No, it's not funny.
Sid
Don't make me laugh, then.
TP
Okay. My Bad Sid. So I think we should move on to our next fall.
Sid
Oh, I'll take this one.
TP
Okay.
Sid
So, unfortunately, Juju Watkins did fall last season. She tore her ACL just like me. She announced on Instagram that she won't be playing this season, which is gonna be obviously a huge blow for college basketball viewership, because who doesn't love watching Juju play? Like, she's just very skilled, very fun, smooth player. And yeah, she's brought a lot of eyes to the game. But I think even more than that, like, I just, like, she just seems like a well rounded kid. Like, she's like, in her community. I think her grandparents are somebody. They like, have a center somewhere in LA and they do a lot of, like, community work, giving back to people. She seems to be involved with that. Um, but shoot, she's another one. Which is why it's super important that we're fighting for what we're fighting for in the cba because you have players like that that are going to be coming into the league and no way juju should be entering the wnba when she comes in and it's still making like 70k what the rookies from last year were making. You know what I mean? But she said the last few months have been filled with a lot of healing, rest, and reflection. Recovering from this injury hasn't been easy, and I want to say thank you. Your love and support and kind words have truly lifted me up during one of the most challenging times in my life. Because you've been with me every step of the way, I wanted you to hear from me directly the following that following the advice of my doctors and trainers, I will sit out this season and fully focus on continuing to recover so I can come back to the game I love. I remember I tore my. When I tore my acl. We all know the story. If you don't go back. If you don't go back and listen to whatever that was episode, I don't even remember, but I saw her going into my sophomore year and I had to wear my brace for the rest of my collegiate career because I just came back way too fast. There was no sitting out back then.
TP
They were hella bulky back then too.
Sid
Huh?
TP
The braces were hella bulky back then as well.
Sid
My teammates used to be like, you.
TP
Had a transformer leg.
Sid
It was like I was literally like dragging my leg behind. I'm like, I could have been so much faster, but I just have like an extra five pounds lagging behind me.
TP
It was part of your rehab to strengthen that leg.
Sid
But you remember back then it was like what, eight months? In like the early 2000s, if you tore your ACL, they were like, no way. Eight months to come back.
TP
No, Sid, I tore my ACL in 2017 and it took me like a solid year to come back.
Sid
No, but I'm saying back then what the, like, what the time frame was, they were like, yeah, if you tear your ACL, about eight, nine months to come back. Yeah. You're talking about 2017. That's a whole decade later.
TP
Yeah. But the technology got better, so arguably it should be a shorter recovery.
Sid
No, I think they're looking at stuff like make sure you're taking care of like toughness. Huh?
TP
Like toughness.
Sid
Make sure you're taking care of the athletes whole. Like their body, their mind, everything. Because what it is now is like mine is like nine to 12 months. But it's like that could range that could vary for anybody depending on like how your rehab is going, how your body heals compared to other people. So it's like return to court and return to play and return to self. Those are three totally different things. But I think back then they weren't thinking about athletes in that way. It's just like, get back on the court.
TP
They're like, oh, you can shoot a basketball. You're good to go.
Sid
Because that was all.
TP
Come on.
Sid
We used to practice for like five hours. Nobody is like following.
TP
Yeah.
Sid
Rules or worried about protocol. It's like, we need this.
TP
They were like, make sure you fill out your compliance paper.
Sid
Right, right.
TP
And they're like watching you can fill out your compliance paper. And you're like, yeah. We didn't go over on any of our times today.
Sid
We've never gone over. I love it here. Everything is normal. Don't investigate.
TP
We didn't have six ams for no reason.
Sid
Never. Never anyway. But shout out to juju. I hope that she has a juju. Speedy. Well, not even speedy.
TP
She don't need to rush, just a full recovery. Just take your time, get back to yourself mentally, physically, and we can't wait to see you back on the court 100. Until then, you can come on our pod if you need something to do to fill your time. We're rooting for you girl.
Sid
We're rooting for your girl.
TP
Ooh, Sin.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
What things that I fall for on social media just cause you have your nido cube. Oh my God.
Sid
G brought me this.
TP
Oh my God.
Sid
You jealous?
TP
No, Chip just farted.
Sid
Oh.
TP
Chip, I need you to show yourself because that Was rancid, buddy.
Sid
Oh, man. Oh, Chip just farted. Listeners, Chip is TP's cute little Chiweenie.
TP
He's about to be 13. He's a 13. He's looking for love. If you have a senior lady that's looking for a handsome young man with a lot of life in him, a lot of love in him, he loves to cuddle. He loves treats. Chip's your guy.
Sid
But have you noticed, though? You said chip farted. Do you notice that when you open a bag of chips? Like, I don't. I don't know if it's, like, lays or, like, plain chips in particular, but it smells like a fart when you open the bag.
TP
Does it?
Sid
You've never thought that?
TP
No, I don't, like, eat. I eat, like, Pringles. So I need to open up a bag of chips. Like, I don't really have a bag.
Sid
Of chips, but they need to. I think they just need to be regular.
TP
They need to just regular.
Sid
Just regular plain chips. Like Lace, specifically. It smells like.
TP
Okay, I'm gonna try it.
Sid
Oh, no, maybe it's me. But what.
TP
I'm gonna have to follow that up. I'm gonna have Chip do it, and then I'm gonna follow it up with a bag opening, and then we'll get right to it.
Sid
Thanks.
TP
But back to social media. What I fall for on social media. Yeah, y'. All leave in the comments what you guys are falling for. What's on your algorithms? Because right now, for me, it's paint mixing videos. There's always, like, two to six different paint colors. They take this little, like, paint tool that, like, makes a good clink noise and, like, clink, clink, link. They mix up the color and they spread it. The name of the color is always on point. Like, they always name that color, too. It's when it's, like, flamingo pink, and you're like, oh, I can see it.
Sid
Yeah, for sure.
TP
Flamingo pink. I sit there through the whole video. So I'm giving those people so much of my time.
Sid
They're like. I don't know if soothing is the word, but there's something about it. I'm just like. I'm very engaged with what they're doing. Especially is it the ones where they have, like, a color swatch, like, on the side? Like, they have a little. You know when you go to, like, get a paint color and they have the little rectangles or whatever.
TP
Oh, and they match it. Those get me, too.
Sid
When they match it, I'm like, you started as Something not even close to this. Like, how did you get there so quickly?
TP
Right? And even when you. When they match it, when there's, like, a metallic look to it or it's, like, transparent, like, whatever that color is, It's a trans color. It's crazy cool. I'm like, I can't believe this is happening. I'm seeing it transition in front of my eyes.
Sid
Yeah. Yeah. I love seeing it transition in front of my eyes.
TP
So those get me every single time. What's on your algorithm?
Sid
My favorite are the rug cleaning videos.
TP
Oh.
Sid
You take a filthy. I mean, disgusting rug, lay it down in the middle of the floor in whatever warehouse, wherever the hell you are, and you just get to spraying it with, like, that power hose. But, like, when they're. When it's, like, sudden up and the suds are. It's brown or whatever it is, it's just nasty. I'm like, where was this rug, first of all?
TP
Oh, my. What. What house is that rug sitting in? Or are all these, like, barn rugs? Because it doesn't make sense to me.
Sid
Maybe so. But watching the transformation process, I'm, like, in awe. Like, I love seeing stuff get clean. I like. I like watching. That's why I like vacuum. Vacuuming, I think, and sweeping, and. We used to know this girl I love in our neighborhood growing up September. She was the best vacuum.
TP
That's her name.
Sid
Yeah. The best vacuumer we've ever seen in our life. She would vacuum the. Like, the house, the floor, and you wouldn't even see where the line was. How she got to the next row, I'm like, is she picking it up, or is it just so seamless that she did a turn? And I just. I just couldn't believe it. I was, like, in awe of her craftsmanship. And to this day, I've been in awe of it, and I've never accomplished what she did, but that in. In. In sweeping, to just see dirt go away.
TP
Yeah, it just does.
Sid
It does something.
TP
Sid. There's a new broom coming out. Or maybe it came out. Maybe it already dropped.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
And it's also, like, a collab, in my opinion, because it could pick up liquid. It could pick. I'm saying I love a little combo. It's a broom, but it's like a blade, and it sweeps up solids, it sweeps up liquids, it sweeps up dust, it sweeps up chunky things. You name it, it gets it all. And I'm like, it gets up hair off the rug.
Sid
That's my favorite thing to do.
TP
If there's hair on the rug so nice.
Sid
You just, like. If you wet your hand a little bit working it, do it in a circle real fast. I only do this if I know it's my hair. I'm not doing it somewhere else. It's got to be in my own home.
TP
You're not walking into a guest house and you're like, hey, let me.
Sid
I put this as one of my, like, fun facts on the CGTP show. You know, we had our facts in the beginning.
TP
Yeah. I don't remember if I like to swirl hair on other people's carpets.
Sid
I don't know if it got used, but it's so satisfying. But it does kind of, like, it gives you, like, a little bit of a finger burn, but it's, like, worth it because then you see all the hair come up.
TP
Do you do that in the shower when you wash your hair? Like, you put your hair on the wall and you swirl it on the wall?
Sid
Yeah.
TP
So it doesn't go down your drain.
Sid
To get it off. Or I'll just sit it on the side sometimes. But also, I just have a little thing in the drain that doesn't let the hair go down.
TP
Oh, nice. Yeah, maybe I need one of those, because I shed a lot.
Sid
Yeah, get that, get that.
TP
Wow. Thank you.
Sid
You're so welcome.
TP
How about you give me one? You literally.
Sid
Oh, yeah, I'll get you one.
TP
Okay, cool.
Sid
All right. Oh, attitude. Now walk off. All right, here's a stretch. Signs that people's like, mental health has fallen, is declining. Worshiping celebrities. There was a tweet that said, what's the subtle sign that someone's mentally unstable? They said, celebrity worship. And it doesn't even have to be celebrity. It can be politician. It can just be human being anyone. Why are you worshiping another person, period? Even if it's somebody you're in a relationship with, Anybody. And this actually, like, probably goes against what most athletes or celebrities should want or even people like us. We should want people to be, like, very into what we're doing, because, I mean, that's how people make money. You need fans. You need people to care. You peeps. Like, that's why people have stands, and they stand up for them with whatever they do. Please don't ever stand us, because I'll look at you and call you weird myself, because, you don't know. We don't want people like that to be worshiping them. It's scary, right? It's scary.
TP
It's like, I don't know what people's True morals and values are. Before you start really diving into, like.
Sid
Bro, when you look at, like the current one right now is like Cardi and Nicki Minaj fans going at each other. You don't know these people.
TP
Yeah, you're fighting over something. Were you there for that? Did you see whatever you're arguing over take place? Or like, what? Like what. What are we standing on here?
Sid
I think like another. Let's just make sure that we, like, we respect what people do. We can enjoy, like, their art or whatever they like, bring to the world. But caping and like standing, we got to.
TP
We got to be a fan of people.
Sid
Take it down. Like, go to grass. Touch.
TP
Touch grass. Back in the day, they used to have, like, impersonators, specifically Elvis. Like, you go to Vegas, you'll see four Elvis's just on any given Tuesday.
Sid
Yeah, I don't like Elvis. Elvis was stealing from black people. Nobody calls it out enough. But I'm on that.
TP
I know enough about. I don't know enough about Elvis.
Sid
Well, now you.
TP
I know he did marry. Didn't he marry like a teenager or something?
Sid
I see you still got that picture up behind you.
TP
No, I thought I changed that. That's weird.
Sid
GR listeners, if you're listening and you can't see, TP still has that same picture up and it's still the G R at the end. I haven't gotten on you for anything racist in the past couple episodes.
TP
I'm sorry. I want to apologize to your parents. It's just a big misunderstanding. If you again to my parents. Y' all didn't raise me to be this person.
Sid
It can't keep being a misunderstanding. TP this is the.
TP
No, no. White people love to just say it was a big misunderstanding. I'm like, no, you did it. You just gotta say, oh, I messed up big time. Anyway. I didn't. Once you come over to my house, you'll see that it's. It's not what it looks like. But until then, we can clean it up.
Sid
Yeah, no, I'll never go.
TP
Also another sign that people are mentally unstable.
Sid
No.
TP
Anybody in a red hat. You guys just gotta get checked at the door. Yeah. Go to therapy. Shout out to Kelly. I love Kelly so much. Kelly's my therapist.
Sid
Oh, oh, oh, yeah.
TP
I love Kelly. I love Kelly so much. Changed my life for the better.
Sid
Shout out to Kelly.
TP
Shout out to Kelly, man. But to all the Red Hatters. Go find a therapist.
Sid
I think the interesting thing to me is that the whole, like, MAGA thing has become so Many people's personality. And I just don't. I don't understand it. Like, when Obama won, I remember people being super excited because it was, like, the first, like, black president or, like, half black president, whatever.
TP
The only one that didn't look like the rest of them.
Sid
Right. So, like. But even then, I don't think people. People weren't like, so wearing the peril, wearing other stuff. It was like. It was just. It was different.
TP
It was because he didn't come out with the bitcoin. He didn't come out with his own companies. Like, he wasn't selling cars on the White House lawn. Like, he was just. He was a president.
Sid
Yeah. But I just think in this day and age, with people knowing the association with it and still wearing it, it's like, y' all want attention bad. I think a lot of y' all were just, like, losers in your life. Because are you. Why are you doing so much? Even when I vote across Democratic lines, I'm never caping for any of these politicians. Like, I, once again, don't know these people. Don't know them.
TP
Don't know them.
Sid
Let's turn it down. Let's tune it down A lot.
TP
Don't know them at all.
Sid
At all. Speaking of white people, though.
TP
Wait, No, I was. I was about to say Sid. Like, it's kind of strange that I'm seeing you here, because I thought we would for sure get Raptured. It didn't happen. I'm actually surprised to see that we're both sitting here. I thought that we had it good enough that we would get taken for sure. But word on the street is that was a pump fake.
Sid
I. I couldn't.
TP
That wasn't the real rapture.
Sid
I didn't even know what's going on. I think it shows, like, how different people's lives and, like, we see it in, like, the difference in people's, like, algorithms, when, like, we might bring each stuff to each other sometimes. And I'm like, that wasn't in my algorithm. Or, like, what's in mine was not in yours.
TP
Yes.
Sid
I was never seeing anything about people talking about the Rapture recently, but they said that now when it didn't happen on, like, the 23rd or whatever, they're just saying that. Oh, oh, change of date. It is.
TP
It's either October 6th or 7th. So now there's, like, a spectrum of days that it could happen on. I didn't find out until the morning of. So I didn't even get to prepare. But what I did see Was a bunch of people selling their cars, getting, like, rid of their houses. They were, like, getting their hair done. I know. I'm like, put it on the market or donate it. Like, let's put your money where your mouth is. If this rapture is happening, like, you don't need that house anymore.
Sid
But honestly, you're gonna be kind of spooky to get a house from somebody who thinks that the rapture is coming anyways. I don't know that I want it. It's like. It's like when people want to go to, like, I'm gonna just say, because we're staying. Staying there to, like, Mandalay Bay. And you remember when the person killed all those people? People want to go stay in the room where it happens, but it's like it's closed off. Or, like, you can't stay in that room. But the fact that people like doing stuff like that, I'm just like, that's weird. Ah. Scared of everybody. Just in time for Halloween.
TP
I don't want to be in a room with you know where murderer.
Sid
No, no. But that's probably because, like, I believe in spirits and stuff like that. But that's a conversation.
TP
No, I'm with you on that. We have all. We have the whole month of October to touch on that.
Sid
Touche.
TP
I like where your head's at, Sid.
Sid
Pause.
TP
Speaking of white people.
Sid
Huh?
TP
I thought you were. I thought I was waiting for those white people joke. You said, speaking of white people.
Sid
We had said something right before. We had said something before that. But you know who Harry Daniels is? Is this guy who, like, goes around singing to, like, different celebrities. Like, yeah. Stuff related to what they have going on. Watching all the seasons. This is Abbott Elementary.
TP
On AGC or streaming. Don't care.
Sid
Just beat a new season. Watch. This is Abbott Elementary. Whoa. Oh.
TP
New lyrics.
Sid
So he was singing to him, and he was also singing to Cardi. And it's just funny to see these videos because he just walks up on people and they're, like, taking aback for a second. Then they're like, oh, okay. Like, this is interesting.
TP
Start bopping to it.
Sid
Right? But I love it because it's just in time for Abbott elementary season premiere. And what Quinton Brunson has done with that show. Amazing. Like, that show took the nation by storm. For real. Like, so many people love that show. And I love it. Cause it's so diverse. But it's also like her picking, you know, like, a school in Philadelphia that's mostly black, but having a variety of teachers, like, Showing so many different characters. There's. There's so many, like, good messages on the show. Like, it's so funny. It's so well written. But with all that said, we know that all of y' all mean well when you're tagging me and TP on things that Quinta says or like on our own videos, the camp video in particular, saying, put them on Abbott. But y' all are gonna make that lady hate us.
TP
So if there's any shot of us making it, guys, we need you guys to stop tagging us.
Sid
Like, we love it.
TP
We appreciate it.
Sid
We would love.
TP
We love it. Need to be on there.
Sid
But not like this. It can't happen like this, y'. All. It can't. And I hate. I hate to have to get on y' all because you're doing something kind. You really are. I love when you say, oh, no, I don't want to get on y', all, because you mean well, but you're costing us jobs. It's gotta stop.
TP
It's gotta stop. Thank God that was little. We do love and appreciate the support as always.
Sid
Yeah, we love y' all so much. Tp. Yeah.
TP
Yes.
Sid
Okay. We've been waiting for this segment.
TP
We're bringing back. You mad? I'm not mad, but I know a large group of people that will be. So. I don't know if you've heard everybody, but Bad Bunny is now announced to be making the super bowl halftime performance headline. It is the first Latino to headline a Super Bowl.
Sid
First, like, male Latino? Yeah, Latino.
TP
Male Latino.
Sid
Yeah. Yeah. No, you said it because Latino is male.
TP
To headline the Super Bowl. He was a guest performer in 2020 with Shakira and JLo. But this is first time headlining the super bowl and, man, I could not be more excited. I do know a few Bad Bunny songs, but that's not why my excitement stands. It's all the undertones that come with the fact that Bad Bunny is headlining super bowl halftime show.
Sid
I'm excited, too. I don't know, like, that I don't know his music.
TP
No, I feel like you would know some of his songs if you heard them. Like, I feel like. Because you've listened to, like, reggaeton music and, like, so I feel like you would recognize some of his songs.
Sid
Just don't know it's him. Well, it says he's.
TP
You just don't know it's him.
Sid
He's a three time Grammy award winner, eight Billboard, has eight Billboard Music Awards, and was crowned artist of the year by Billboard in 2020. 2. And I know him because. Not I know him because. But I know Marty would show me times where, like, he was dressing, like, in an androgynous way or just straight up wearing, like, a skirt. A dress.
TP
Yeah.
Sid
Painting his fingernails or, like, wearing press ons or anything, like, doing a lot of stuff that, like, I'm very secure with, like, my masculinity, so I really don't care about what I'm wearing or what you think about it. So I started to like them because of that.
TP
I love them because of that. I also love them because of his stance on why he canceled his US Tour dates concerning ice being able to infiltrate and take his fans also. News flash, everybody. Breaking news. Puerto Rico is a part of America. Yeah, it's American.
Sid
A lot of.
TP
So for everyone that says, go back to your country, it's America again, we can't reiterate that enough.
Sid
No facts. People were very, very upset about it, and they were saying, oh, so you cancel tour dates in the US but you'll take the check for performing at super bowl halftime? And it's like, you don't get paid for that. All you had to do was Google that information. You just sent that tweet out with zero research done.
TP
So again, we can't reiterate this enough. Do your own research, especially before you send out a tweet that's just dead wrong. There is time to delete that tweet. There's a time to go back and research, really, everything that you need to to get the. The. The facts that you need to. We're not here to give you facts, but we'll give you a few here, because this is something that is very exciting also coming off of last year's performance with Kendrick Lamar.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
In a time where there was racial disparity. There's always been racial disparity, but really, when it's coming to a head with police brutality and, you know, with the way that this administration is here in America, having someone like Kendrick Lamar perform. Also, the same crowd that's upset about Bad Bunny was also upset about how pro black the halftime show was, when really, if you were to listen and watch and pay attention, you would see that it wasn't just pro black, but it was just pro American and what America should look like. It's patriotic of him to be able to go on stage and stand on everything that he says, everything that he preaches the. From his costume, from his wardrobe, to the way that he transitioned from song to song from place to place on, you know, his stage. It was really awesome to see everything that Kendrick was tapping into and the messages that he was saying without actually having to say them.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
So it's really awesome that now we're following up one issue in America, which is racial disparity. Now, following it up with or just like, having someone.
Sid
Not even racial.
TP
Racism. Racism. Just generally. And now following up with someone who is for immigrants is anti ice, anti maga, and is loud and proud about it, and I couldn't be more excited. And Sid, I need to give a special shout out to Ms. Nuguez and Ms. Perez for teaching me Spanish. I really didn't retain a lot, but I'm gonna have to pick it back up. Oh, girl, I need to pick it back up.
Sid
Seeing that he was announced, I was like, you know What? I paid $250 last year for some sessions. Like, I paid ahead of time. Once I found out Alicia Clark, she was taking Spanish lessons last year when we were in Vegas together, I was like, let me get back on that. I need to learn Spanish. So I paid ahead of time. Guess how many Sessions I did? 3. 1. So no.
TP
Uno.
Sid
I need to get on WhatsApp and hit Whitney. I'm gonna just say hola.
TP
Wait, are you doing it right now?
Sid
I don't know how to say the way.
TP
No, just use English words. Use English words.
Sid
I am.
TP
No, what you're saying is not making sense.
Sid
I just need to say I've been busy. I know. It's.
TP
I was in Priyakupado.
Sid
Yeah. I'm a woman.
TP
Oh, my bad. I couldn't tell. Hit you with a little TSA there.
Sid
Get back with her for some classes. Because by the time this halftime show comes around, I will know all the words to his songs. Okay. But he did mention there are many reasons why I didn't show up in the US this is Bad Bunny. And none of them were out of hate. I performed there many times. All of the shows have been successful. All of them have been magnificent. I've enjoyed connecting with Latinos who've been living in the US but specifically for residency here in Puerto Rico. When we are in unincorporated territory of the United States, people from the US could come here to see the show. Latinos and Puerto Ricans of the United States could also travel here or to any part of the world. But there was the issue of, like, fucking ice could be outside my concert. And it's something that we were talking about and very concerned about. So to know that that won't be the crowd at the Super Bowl, Like, I just love that for him, people are gonna be up in arms about it and upset. But I'm like, we need to put different people in positions to show their talent. Like, people of all races, all backgrounds. Like, it's an interesting choice to me from the NFL, given that a lot of people have looked at them unfavorably for a while after Colin Kaepernick stuff and how that was handled. But now to have gone with Kendrick and to be doing this at a time in our nation with everything going on, like, it's definitely a choice.
TP
Absolutely. And I couldn't be more proud of them for making this choice. The same people that were upset and anti Kaepernick are the same people that are anti Kendrick, and they're probably the same people that are anti Bad Bunny. And that's not gonna stop people from using this platform again. It's. You don't get an appearance fee, you don't get any kind of money compensation for performing at halftime.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
This is literally a platform that you can use to spread your message. I can't wait to see what Bad Bunny has in store for us.
Sid
Same here. All right, well, shout out to Bad Bunny.
TP
Shout out to Bad Bunny.
Sid
Shout out to my Spanish tutor if she still wants to be. I'll reach out and let you know when he.
TP
Please, Winnie, please work with her.
Sid
All right, tp. So we got. We got a dm. All right, y', all, it's time for. Go ahead, tp. Go ahead.
TP
It goes down in the dm. It go down. It go down in the dm. It go down. It go down. Down. We got story time.
Sid
Story time is crazy. All right, so we got a message from DEZ and hey, you two, thank you for your podcast and always bringing amazing content that makes me smile. I have a question for y'. All. My daughter's been getting bullied in school and we've gone to the principal and done that whole thing. My husband is heated and so fired up and wants to tell my daughter, the next time that little punk ass boy messes with you, clock him in the face. I, however, cannot have him telling our 9 year old daughter to punch a boy. For reference, in gym class, they were doing push ups and our daughter did them with a modification on her knees. And this little boy called her out and in front of the other kids said something like, oh, look at her doing. Doing it the her name way with a snarky tone. And other kids looked and chuckled and it really hurt her feelings. I told her that it's hard to think of a comeback sometimes in the moment, but if he ever says something like that again, you get up and get close to him and say in a really serious tone, you can keep your name. Keep my name out your mouth. And you shouldn't be commenting on the girls bodies and how we do things. Anyways, I still feel like this isn't good enough, so I thought I'd message y'. All. Can you give our daughter a really good clap? Back the next day, Back the next time this little punk says something. Thank you both. Appreciate your time reading this. P.S. we already talked to the principal and they talk to the boy. Hopefully he stops. But just in case, I feel like y' all will come up with something way better. Thank you. Oh, this well, tp. What. What was your. What would you have done when you were a kid? Or like, what was your parents have told you?
TP
I was bullied as a kid and I didn't, like, have much to go off of. I was just bigger than you.
Sid
Want to know names of people that bullied you or you? We can do that.
TP
You know what? I'm going to. I'm going to save it, okay? I'm gonna save it because these are very special people that deserve a very special shout out. And this isn't my moment, but I will say that I was bullied as a kid, and when I went home, my parents used to tell me to pray for them because they need prayers. And I'm not gonna say that that stopped the bullying because it didn't at all. But the way that I would get even with them was I was just better than them at everything. And I. I let them know in the moment that, like, I scored on them, I had better grades than them.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
I just. Nothing beats. Nothing beats a bully more than facts. That riles them up. It gets them going. Something that they think that they're picking on me because they're better than me. Oh, okay, great. I'm gonna show you my paper here. This is a 97. I don't know what you got, but I'm damn sure it's not a 97. Yeah, I had 20 points in the game last night. I don't know how many you had, but I'm damn sure it wasn't 20 points last night. In flag football when I was a starting quarterback.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
On an all boys flag football team. Shout out to Parker Lacorn. He was my backup quarterback.
Sid
You were QB1?
TP
I was QB. Well, I also. I went to a school where my dad had to, like, yell at the principal because they were like, I wasn't getting the playing time I deserved. My dad's like, my daughter's not going to be treated differently because she's a girl. She's better than all the boys.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
So there was a quarterback contest. I won the quarterback contest.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
That put me in first place to be quarterback. But I love that for you, humbly, I was the starting QB one. Drop it in the pocket for the, for the Titans. But I guess my advice would just be to like hit him with some facts.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
Like there's things about that kid that he's insecure about and he's picking on your daughter because he knows that she's got something great within her and he's trying to dim that light. And I like that. She's. She's got to shine through. She's got to shine through. And the only way that, that I knew how to do that at that young age was just to hit him with cold hard facts. With that being said, does let that kid know that she's got a 65 friend that's willing to show up and do an in person visit to the school if we absolutely have to. We don't mess around. So we're bringing in, we're bringing in large reinforcements.
Sid
Facts. That's why I couldn't have kids. Because if somebody was messing with my child, I'm up at the school. I'm not dealing with the. I'm going straight to the source. Because clearly whatever you're doing at home, you're not teaching them well enough because they come in school acting any kind of way. I never would have been at school bullying people because I know when I got home there would have been something waiting for me if it ever got back to my family. So like I'm a big fan of like just going all out at people's insecurities. Like you said. Even the people who start to laugh, the people who laugh at what the bullying is saying, your daughter does. Your daughter needs to start like watching these people, observe them, see what their insecurities are, talk about them not even being able to be a leader. Like they're always following what this kid is doing. They're lame. They're a loser. When I was growing up, bullies got bullied. That's what the thing is. So you don't get to just pick on people and, and hear nothing about it in return. So like sometimes I was like, dang, I wish I would have been like, nobody ever tried me like that. I think it was Just there was something in me waiting too for people to do it. So I would always just stand up for other kids that were getting bullied. Like when I was in kindergarten and this little, this chubby kid, he would get picked on by this other boy all the time. And I just had enough one day and I just threw a chair at him and he no longer messed with a whole chair. He no longer messed. Scott no longer messed with Michael. Scott didn't mess with me ever. But it was just a thing. Like if I even saw you in Michael's vicinity. Keep it moving. Cause this ain't that. So I just think you gotta make sure that you're building some confidence in your daughter. Make her understand that what other people think and feel about her isn't important anyways. Like it's about what she thinks about herself. And if they wanna keep testing her. Yeah, you just gotta like. I love ad hominem attacks. Cut people where it hurts. I'm gonna talk about your parents relationship. If I know anything about it, if they're divorced and say that it's because of you. I'm gonna do everything. I'm hitting below the belt.
TP
You're cutting deep.
Sid
They go low. I go to hell.
TP
Oh wow. Okay. Well you're not getting raptured. I just think, I just think that is like really sad that kids are just mean.
Sid
They are people.
TP
Kids are mean.
Sid
A grown adult people are mean.
TP
So I'm like, first of all, parents, check your kids. If you have a little shit at home, make sure you're checking them at home. That kid's gonna grow up in society thinking it's okay to be a little shit when it's not okay to be a little shit sometimes. And people like though. So it's big shits, big shits make.
Sid
Little shits, big shits make. That's a. We don't even.
TP
Big shit popping and little shit stopping. But does your daughter obviously has a glow to her. She's obviously awesome. Also. I'm not against her hitting a boy. Yeah, same if she wanted to hit a boy. Boys. If you touch little girls though, you're. You got something coming for you.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
Unsupervised is coming straight for you. But girls, yeah. If you're getting picked on by a boy, make sure he knows what's up.
Sid
Yep.
TP
And we, we encourage you again, we don't promote violence. But sometimes if it doesn't, if boys don't listen and boys also, then we do.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
Sometimes you just have to put them in their place and it Takes one time. You will get in trouble. You shouldn't do it.
Sid
And with that said, we don't promote violence, but be violent if you need to. On that note, y', all, this is a wrap on the episode, so don't forget, Throw kindness around.
TP
Like just a simple reminder.
Sid
And if you don't have have any confetti, just throw a punch.
TP
And also, if you want us in your business, make sure that you're dming us at unsupervised. Sid tp. Let us know what you like, what you don't like. Or just put us in your business. To all the bullies out there. Touch some grass. Get a life. Stop being a loser.
Sid
Stop being a loser. Bring back calling people losers.
TP
Bring that back.
Sid
All right. Oh, that was the wrong way. All right, we love y'. All. See y' all next week.

We know they gonna block them when it's game time and you know I'm gonna block them and we cover everything like ho who harder than us? And yeah, we looking and they don't hate us cuz they smaller than us and yeah my flow is so damn sick I be coughing it up you said that we going flat well then I'm calling your blood. Unsupervised.
