Unsupervised.
B
Unsupervised. Unsupervised.
A
Yeah. Yes, yes, yes. Okay. We say what we want and yeah, we say what we feel. Sitting tmp of the mix and they be keeping it real on brand, off topic, out of pocket Anything you need, they got it why don't you shout? We know they gonna block it when it's game time and you know I'm gonna block them and we cover everything like whoa, who harder than us? And yeah, we looking down on haters. Cause they smaller than us and yeah, my flow is so damn sick I be coughing it up you we go flat well then I'm calling your blood.
B
We in this bitch. New York. Oh, my God.
C
Well said. You're really happy to be here today.
B
I'm so happy to be here. I feel like that's just the energy you got to have in New York. Like, you got to be aggressive.
A
Also.
C
There's about 6 trillion people in here, so offer us.
B
You can't see it on camera, but just trust us.
C
Yeah, definitely. Just trust us. Okay.
B
So obviously we've never been to Fanatics Fest.
A
No.
B
We've heard some stuff, We've seen some stuff so far. I didn't realize that people come here, like, dressed as their favorite athlete, their favorite moments, whatever the case may be. But you see a lot of, you know, jerseys and shit. If you had to dress up at Fanatics Fest. Yeah, what player, team, or like, what moment would you dress up as?
C
I really like where you're going with this, Sid.
B
Cause I hear people do wild shit. So I'm just like, how wild would you get?
C
I feel like I wouldn't get that. That wild. I'm going to throw mine back. By the way, I love your hoodie.
B
Where?
C
Tigers, baby. Oh, LSU Tigers.
B
Oh, no. Texas A and M. Oh.
C
Anyway, back to the question, Sid.
B
All right, back to the question. Okay.
C
I feel like I'm a huge Saints fan. And back in the day, we had this wide receiver named Joe Horn, okay? And Joe Horn scored a touchdown and he put a flip phone at the bottom of the goal post. So after he scored, he pulled out his flip phone and he was calling everybody rumored him to call Domino's.
B
What year he called Domino?
C
Early 2000. Like, this is past, like the Nokia Snake phone. Yeah, it was like one more than that. Like, I think there was a camera maybe. But Joe, I would. I would dress up as Joe Horn's flip phone because that was just like the best celebration I've seen to this day. And he got fined for that he got fined.
B
How much?
C
I don't know, Like a hefty. It's probably like 25,000. Back in the day, that was like a million dollars.
B
Yeah. Yeah, that was a lot. Okay, probably. If I had to pick, I think I would be a hotel room where like DL athletes are meeting up with their dudes. So I would either be a hotel room. And y' all know some of the ones I'm talking about in the news, some of them are messing with their stylists and stuff. Apparently. I don't know. It's all alleged. I don't want to start no rumors.
C
It sounds zesty.
B
We never start a rumor, but.
C
But we'll always finish it.
B
We'll always finish it. And so I'd either be a hotel room or I would probably dress up as an intersection where Lamelo Ball is driving recklessly through the city of Charlotte. I don't know.
C
Oh, my God.
B
If y' all have seen footage, it's low key. Like, it's not funny.
C
Not funny.
B
At the same time, it's funny that
C
we're watching Grand Theft Auto in real
B
life because he's in like a bright green Lambo. He's in a Hummer with like a very obvious print on it. I think he's getting his cars wrapped. But it's like you can't be crashing into people on the way to the game and then not have to stick around.
C
Like, if you were driving a silver 2019 Hyundai, maybe you could get away with it a little bit more. You can't have a highlighter yellow Lamborghini. Your ass were a completely wrapped, big ass Hummer. You can't with like 16 wheels on it. Like, we could just.
B
You can't do that. Okay. And then my other one, I have a lot of things.
C
Oh, my God. How many fanatics fest are you planning for in the future? Like, I don't know. This is our first one. You're like, for the next three years, you're good.
B
Let a girl dream. I think for another one, I would also. I would like to be like a player with like. Okay, I would be a player. So I would be you. But then there would be an invisible string like behind me that is a bookie that's watching me during my game because I have to throw that game or else they're gonna beat my ass after the game. So it's like you're watching me maybe shoot like a layup. So I got a layup. There's the backboard. I missed the layup. But I'm wide open, so it's like, okay, something's obviously fishy. And then you see the bookie behind me. Cause I have somebody else.
C
So you have a. You have a second person added to your. You're going to have to hire. Okay, so one of my three years is covered. I'm good for the third year that we're coming back to fanatics.
B
Okay. So I just had to ask you that, because to me, that was really fun. All right, next up, y', all, we got a segment called W Wide Web. It's where we cover, like, WNBA stuff. Yeah. Who's a WNBA fan here?
C
Yeah.
B
Okay, say, go, women on three. One, two, three, go, women.
C
That's the biggest women fan here today.
B
Why didn't you say it, sir? I said say, go, women. And then you looking around when I said, go, women. Are you here with a woman? Right here. Oh, what's your name? What's his name? Manell. We're gonna do this again because of you, so we'll see. So on three, once again, we're going to say, go, women. One, two. Everybody look at Manell, but everybody still say it, but look at him. One, two, three, go, women.
C
Manel had passion behind it that time.
B
Thanks, Manel.
C
Okay, RSI in the full fanatics experience. I've never opened a pack of cards before. And we're lucky enough to have a WNBA pack. Yeah.
B
So that WNBA pack. Weeds illegal. Weeds illegal in the wnba. Nobody cares. All right, stoners,
C
Great crowd here tonight.
B
They're high.
C
Okay, so, Sid, I'm going to hand you two, and I'm going to open two, okay?
B
Okay. Tp so who are you? Who are you hoping to get?
C
Oh. Oh, I really hope it's from 2025. I hope I get you.
B
Oh, you're obsessed with me.
C
No.
B
Does anybody watch the show? Enough to know TV's obsessed with me?
C
I don't appreciate that, you guys.
B
Real life, right? It's creepy.
C
In real life, you only know what you guys see on camera. She's equally as obsessed. She's just, like, publicly embarrassed that she loves a white woman.
B
Oh, okay. I got a good pack. I got a good pack.
C
Then say something.
B
Okay. All right, y', all, so I got Jonquill Jones from the New York Liberty. I love Jonquill Manell. Cheer. You're cheering internally. OK. I got a Kayla McBride show. Love. Me and K. Mac were teammates actually, in Vegas in, like, 2019. I love Mac. You know, what about Kayla McBride? Her taste in music?
C
What? Top tier?
B
It's Top tier. We like the same. Like, who in here likes, like, 90s R&B, older rap music type shit. You like 90s R&B? What's your. Nah, I believe you. I'm looking at her in front of you. You like 90s R&B? What's your favorite? Like, what's your favorite 90s R&B song? She said, oh, shit. Come back to me. I'mma come back to you in a little bit. All right?
C
But Kayla, you're sitting there wasting your time. All my packs are open, okay?
B
I also got Kennedy Burke.
C
Oh, my God.
B
I got a Kennedy Burke.
C
I'm not trading any of my cards with you, by the way.
B
You have to. And then I got Asia Wilson, ok? We got big Asia fans. Asia's insane, y'.
A
All.
C
I got, like, all the rookies that I really wanted, okay? And a lot of other people. So we got Paige Beckers, y'. All.
B
Paige Buckets.
C
We got Kelsey Plum.
B
Okay?
C
We got a special Asia Wilson.
B
Why is it special?
C
A little bit better than Sydney's.
B
Oh, that is better than mine. Damn. What the fuck?
C
I know. Open your other packs while I'm talking, though. You might have a special one. You just don't know because they're not open yet. Oh, we got Rebecca Brunson.
B
All right.
C
Yeah. Okay. That's a throwback WNBA crowd. I appreciate the cheers here. Cameron Brink, y'. All. Lexi Hall. Here we go. This is a special. Kelsey Mitchell, baby. Give it up for Kelsey. Emily Engsler. Potentially one of the. The WNBA super, super dykes that are flipping the straights over to our team. Niara Sabley, but the New York version, a little throwback action Angel Reese, baby. Yeah. All right, we got Febich. We got Erica Wheeler. And all I gotta. All I gotta tell you, Sid, is I am beyond happy with the packs that I got.
B
Okay? I'm happy, too. Do you wanna trade some?
A
No.
C
What do you have?
B
Okay, I got Stewie.
C
Okay.
B
Okay. I got Bree Jones.
C
Oh. Oh, breezy.
B
I love breezy. Hell, yeah. Okay. All right. I'm gonna set that to the side. What you willing to do for it?
C
Oh, my God.
B
Come up there. Come up there. Dana Evans.
C
What is crazy? Okay, we love some Dana.
B
And we got Sloot.
C
I can see.
B
And that's a good sign for me because she just came back from her acl.
C
She did.
B
Okay, so I'm willing to trade you.
C
I'm not willing to trade.
B
Well, no, I'll trade you my Asia for your Asia. No, I'll also trade.
C
I'm not willing to give up Kelsey or Asia.
B
Okay, y', all, we're going to give some of these away later when we do the Q and A. If y'.
C
All.
B
We're going to ask y' all some questions, you get the answer right, and then you get to win the car. Cool. Is that cool? Y' all got to get feedback. I can't stand when I'm asking something, and I don't hear nothing.
C
So, Sid, I feel like we should just hop into one of our games we have planned today.
B
Please, please. I want to play a game so bad.
C
So we're. We're. We're doing a special version of this game called Babysitter Feud. Baby. What? Do y' all not watch the game show network?
B
We can't say the other name of the other show, y'.
A
All.
B
But it's.
C
But it rhymes with blank.
B
Spew.
C
It rhymes.
B
Stamily. But we can't say.
C
I was literally gonna say stamily.
B
That's why. Okay, are you going for. Are you asking me first?
C
Yeah.
B
Okay.
C
Okay. Y' all know how to play? We ask the babysitters. Also, we were looking for 100 responses. We got plenty. Plenty, plenty.
B
We got 700. We got over 700. We love y' all so much.
C
Okay, so for the first question, a Babysitter feud. Name something that's hard to explain to your grandparents.
B
Oh, freedom.
C
That is not on the list, but I would make that another option. Yes.
B
Okay, wait. How many. How many choices I get? I get.
C
You have 10, but you. You have three to get it.
B
Okay, okay. Hard to explain. Internet.
C
The Internet technology is up there. Yes. That's number two.
B
Consensual sex.
C
It does say situationships.
B
There we go.
C
So that.
B
Yes. Lesbian sex. Yeah. What was the top. Wait, what was the top answer?
C
The top answer. Top three answers. Being gay. My sexuality. Coming through with 77. We got technology at 59, and we got AI at 32.
B
Allen Iverson.
C
It's unclear.
B
It's unclear. Okay, I got one for you.
A
Okay.
B
Y' all can chime in if you need. Name something. You shouldn't lick
C
a door handle.
B
Oh, yeah, but that's low. You got to get top five, right? Or.
C
Okay.
B
Oh, wait, no, no, no. She just got to get any of the ones on here. Okay, my bad. You got one?
C
Yeah, so don't. Don't try to.
B
14 people said that. Okay.
C
Okay. I would say a stranger.
B
A stranger. Yeah. A man or men.
C
Yeah, yeah. Definitely specific. So you can lick a woman and then shoes.
B
Shoes. Yeah.
C
Yeah.
B
I was Three foot. Yeah, but you didn't get the top.
C
Oh, what was the top?
B
The top answer. Who wants to guess the top answer? Huh? That's number three. The top answer is the floor or the ground.
C
Okay, you said it.
B
So y' all know everything over here. Y' all think y' all know everything.
C
Did y' all vote? Your answer is popping up.
B
She said, put us on the show. All right, bet. All right. And then feet and toes.
C
Okay.
B
And then a pole. Whoever said a poll.
C
Polls on there.
B
Yeah, Pose on there. Give me your next one.
C
All right. Name something that makes people scream.
B
Sex.
C
That's number four.
B
Scary moments. Like something scary.
C
Scary in horror movies. 54. That's number three.
B
Okay. Insects.
C
Spiders is number two. Bugs is number seven.
B
Something that makes people scream.
C
And what's number one?
B
Oh, roller coasters.
C
Hell, yeah.
B
She got it.
A
Yeah.
B
Hey, come up here. Come up here. How we get her up here?
C
Is she getting. Is she.
B
What's your name? Huh? Angela. What's your. What's your last name? Oh, you can't come. Okay, I lied. You can stand on the side, though. You can stand on the side right there. And you can. You can. You can ask us. Yeah, wait. We're gonna do the next question, then you give your answers.
C
Okay.
B
We see who wins. I'm gonna ask TP See who gets up there. All right. Name something fans throw.
C
Panties.
B
That. That is number six. Is this WNBA related?
C
It's vague.
B
It's babysitter. It's fans of the show. What they answer. So name something fans throw. She said underwear. That's number six. Shoes. Shoes. Think about last season. What's some dildos? Hello? Number one. I didn't want to say that.
C
Must be nice to be giving hints.
B
No, there was dance here. I was trying to be peachy. Oh, no, no, no. It's okay.
C
No, it's not okay.
B
Yeah, this is. I was at that game, and they watched one right past.
C
So did you find the guy? Did you find him out, look for the guy?
B
Which game, though? Because that happened at several. It was in Atlanta, the first one. Oh. I said courtside. The origin story. They wrapped it in a. In a something. How did it feel to be there? We didn't know what it was. Literally for 20 minutes. Yeah, I didn't. I thought someone was hurt. Yeah. And then they walked it by me
C
in a washcloth and I. Washcloth.
B
How that happened?
C
Yeah.
B
I don't know where they got to watch atl. That was an amazing story.
C
Safety first. What were the top three?
B
The Top three answers were a dildo, mean green, and bras.
C
Okay, we have to dismiss you, but thank you so much for appreciating, but don't leave.
B
Stay right there.
C
Yes. Don't actually leave.
B
Okay, I will.
C
Okay, cool.
B
I won't.
C
I need that.
B
Brie Jones and Angel. Reese. No, we got you. We got you.
C
Okay.
B
Ask me one more.
C
Do we have a few more? We have a few more.
B
Ask me a few more.
C
Name something that gets stuck in your teeth.
B
Oh, food.
C
Okay. But. Yeah, that is on there. But that's so generalized.
B
Oh. Huh. Okay.
C
Chicken. Chicken. Meat is number four.
B
Okay. Spinach.
C
Or like, spinach is number two.
B
Okay. Something that gets stuck in your teeth. Go. No apples. Apple.
C
No apples.
B
Apple does get stuck in there.
C
No.
B
Huh? Popcorn.
C
Popcorn's number one. Popcorn's number one. Spinach. Number two. Basic corn. Number three.
B
Oh, man. Okay. All right, name the.
C
I know it sucks.
B
TP's losing so far. Who are y' all cheering for? Me. No. Or tp?
C
Yeah.
B
All right. Name the most inappropriate place to do a marriage proposal.
C
At a traffic. A traffic stop. That seems hella inappropriate.
B
No, that's not. That's not on here.
C
Okay, well, they should have been a little bit more adventurous in that answer. Okay.
B
The most inappropriate place to do a marriage proposal.
C
At a funeral.
B
That's number one.
C
Okay.
B
At a divorce court. Yeah, that's on there.
C
Number seven.
B
Number seven. Another.
C
Got you wrapping one up and starting the next one right off of immediately.
B
What else?
C
Let's say a wedding.
B
Someone else's wedding. Number two.
C
A strip club.
B
Yeah. Number four.
C
Yeah. I feel like that. That put me in the lead. Sin.
B
Okay. And I feel like somebody else's wedding is super wild, and I don't think it gets talked about enough.
C
That is super wild. Because I do feel like it's kind of common. Like, I've. I've heard of this situation happening, and what has to go through somebody's head is like, hey, I know this is your big day, but if you would let me take a few minutes and the rest of the night for me to be bragging to everybody else in the room about what just happened for me. I'm so happy for you.
B
Has anybody here ever done that or had it done to them? No. Okay. I was about to say, because I feel like I would be like, why did you do that?
C
Oh, so it wouldn't be good if I did it at your wedding? I mean, we'll talk later.
B
Okay, give me another one.
C
Okay. Name something you'd never want Your boss
B
to see me naked.
C
Nudes is number one.
A
Yeah.
C
What's that?
B
Oh, browser. Your search history.
C
Your browser.
B
Your search history at work.
C
That's not on there.
B
Okay. Never want him to see where you live.
C
Oh, yeah. That is the second answer.
B
You never want him to.
C
I know, I just didn't want to give you credit. I'm so sorry. I was looking at the bottom of the list.
B
Where you live.
C
My house. That is number six.
B
Your family.
C
No, your family's not on there.
B
Something you wouldn't want your boss to see.
C
Yeah. Think about your phone. Think about the apps on your phone.
B
Oh, Tinder. Or like, I don't know, like dating apps on your phone.
C
No, probably just your regular text messages.
B
Oh, okay.
C
Yeah, those could probably get juicy.
B
Yeah. Yeah. If you're talking about them, I guess.
C
Yeah.
B
Have you done the word?
C
Group chat is. Group chat is number eight.
B
Okay.
C
Top three. Are me naked.
B
I got that one.
C
Search, browser history, text messages. And then number five, which I think is a big one. Your camera roll. Never know what's in there.
B
Yeah, yeah. Valid, valid. Okay. Okay. All right, so, all right, last one. Name something a fan will yell in a crowd. I love you. Yeah. Now this number three.
C
That's number three. Two bits, four bits.
B
No. Maybe in 1963.
C
Hey, I tried to pull that at the women's lacrosse game. It did not work. Nobody was given any bids or fucks.
B
No, no. Something a fan will yell in a crowd. That means it could be you. It could be at. Hey, don't touch me. Yours are getting hella specific. I need you to think more general.
C
Okay.
B
Let's go, let's go. Yeah, it's number two.
C
Okay.
B
You suck.
C
Yeah, you suck. We have negative ones on there.
B
Wait, wait, wait. No, you suck isn't on there.
C
Okay.
B
Oh, yeah, it's ref. You suck.
C
Yeah, it's number one. Refuse. Suck.
B
Okay.
C
Get some glasses.
B
No. Once again, yours are hella specific. One of my favorite one. And y' all can use this. It's. Get off your knees, ref. You're blowing the game.
C
That is a good one.
B
That's really a good one.
C
That is top tier.
B
Thank you. Thank you. Okay, so top three where? Ref, you suck. Let's go. And I love you. And somebody said defense. Good job. Okay, y'.
A
All.
B
Well, that was Babysitter's Feud. We like that. Katzi, we gotta bring that one back.
C
Yeah, we love baby.
B
Thank y'. All. If y' all participated in that and gave answers. Thank you.
C
Did I. Kati, who won this? Oh, There was no winner today.
B
No. She just sat saying in our ear. I hate losing. You didn't win. You didn't win. Oh, sorry. It's okay.
C
The number one answers came through.
B
There's always next time.
A
Yeah.
C
There's the next three seasons where we have our costumes planned out, too. So we're good. We'll see you guys next year when that happens as well. But moving on to one of our favorite segments.
B
Yeah.
C
Halftime headlines.
B
Halftime headlines. And, y', all, we're strictly making this one a World cup episode. We haven't been paying attention to the games for real, but we're gonna give you, like, the. What have you.
C
No, I have. I don't know what I'm watching, but it's just so intense and interesting that I'm like, I need to get into this more.
B
Okay, so by we, I just meant I haven't been.
C
Right.
B
I missed.
C
Unless that's your pronouns. Now you can. To save space.
B
Okay, so I remember when the teams were showing up to the cities, it was hilarious because, like, in Houston, Atlanta, the women and the gay men were acting feral when they were.
C
I've never seen more women and gay men care about sports in my life.
B
When the Senate. When the Senegal's team got off the bus at one place, it was just like a whole. It was all of them walking through. So you're seeing them in their beautiful brown chocolate skin, the deviations of men. And I'm not even attracted to men like that, but I could look and
C
see what they were talking about.
B
This is attractive to people. I get it.
C
The Iranian national team came in. People were losing their mind.
B
They were losing their shit. But one of them, Senegal, was getting off of the bus for practice. This woman commented. She said, I'm getting on that bus.
C
See, I totally get it, girl. But let's. Let's flip the script. Let's just say that a bunch of women were getting off the bus, and this guy was like, I'm getting on that bus. He would get tackled by the police.
B
That would be hella creepy. But.
C
But that's the privilege of being a woman. Like, we can be excited about something. If Beyonce comes on the stage, we were like, I would die for her. It's fine if a man was like, I would do anything to touch her. We're like, somebody get him out immediately. Right now. He's got. This is a. This is security breach.
B
It for sure is a hazard. But anyway, like, they were. Women were, like, doing videos like, get ready with me just to go out on the town not to go to the games. They're just like, hey, this is where they're going to be. I heard this is where they're staying. And they were pulling up. But I get it. If you had the richest men in the world in your city, because these are some of the, like, the most paid athletes.
C
Yeah, because they. These NBA guys and NFL guys and MLB guys are fighting over like hundreds of millions or even like 50 million to 100. These guys are working with 200 mil, right. A year.
B
They're getting crazy money. So for me, if I'm a groupie, you do need to be smart. I would be out there too, if I'm used to working with guys who are just like one to ten millionaires. When the hundred millionaires get in town, what? I'm giving it up.
C
Are they more attractive to you as well?
B
They're. They're.
C
Yeah, like, they're a six, but they're.
B
Yeah, it doesn't matter. He's a three, but he's a 100 million soccer player.
C
Great body soccer player.
B
They had one dude. They had one dude. What's his name? From England. The black guy.
C
Oh, yeah.
B
What's his. He's a really good, you know, she doesn't see.
C
What about him?
B
His butt. They were just making edits just of his butt. Y' all seen it? Yeah, she made it. She created that.
C
It was doing what it need to be doing.
B
Oh. Because, you know, then they're also. Look at. Look. Women get objectified in sports all the time and just in life. So it's good for this to happen to the guys for you to see. Yeah, you might be playing sports, but nobody gives a fuck.
C
Yeah.
B
At all. They're making edits of like, their prints because, you know, they're sweating, so their uniforms are wet. So people are seeing what you working with.
C
You know what? I heard this joke the other day that's like, all girls walk around, they're like, hey, I have an A cup. I have a B cup. You know, if guys had to be like, hey, I'm an A, you wouldn't see that guy anymore.
B
It's like one to two inches.
C
And that's why guys have confidence. Like, this male comedian was just saying, like, hey, if guys have to like, actually talk about their sizing, it probably wouldn't be a conversation anymore.
B
It would change the game.
C
It would change the game.
B
Okay, speaking of sizing, what's the huge dudes names from Norway?
C
Oh, Holland.
B
Okay. Y' all seen the do Holland?
C
The Viking God, that Just magically showed up in America one day. We were like, whoa, what's going on?
B
So I don't know if you saw the game that they lost. He was like. And I don't mind you, I don't know soccer, but I know how to read what's going on in sports. His teammate is in front of the goal in, like, whatever that box is, and he's got two people on him. His head is down. He's trying to, like, weave and I guess cross somebody. He. He was wide open. Holland was wide open over there and pointing at the ground. As in, like, passive. The dude ended up trying to shoot the goal. Did y' all see this? He ended up trying to shoot the goal. He missed it. They lose the. They lost that game. They ended up losing that game. So everybody was talking about. Or I saw somebody talking about how there's this, like, tenet or this principle in Norwegian culture where you're supposed to be very humble. Nobody should be above the group. People's arrogance shouldn't get out of control. And I thought the wild thing was that, okay, he came to America, everybody saw he's a very good soccer player. They like, he's funny. His energy. You're trying to. What it looks like is jealousy. You're trying to make sure that he doesn't get the goal to catapult him into more success and fame. You wanted to be that guy in
C
the moment, but in situations like that, because you guys lost and there was an opportunity for you to. That's like a plus minus situation. Like, that's a full swing. Like, you could have gone, in theory, if you would have made that shot, you could have got your cool points up a little bit, but instead you embarrassed yourself. You didn't pass to your teammate.
B
Yeah.
C
You dropped the ball. So in that upswing, not only did you not get this.
B
Yeah.
C
Drop down so low.
B
Yeah. Because it would have. It would have helped him for y' all to move on. More sponsorship deals are going to come to that dude, but they're also probably going to come to y'.
A
All.
C
But also, like, Holland, if I'm. If I'm in this moment, I'm getting the ball to the best player, like, in the guy that has been showing up for us consistently. It's not. It's not like Holland was doing anything to draw attention. Attention or. He wasn't attention seeking, in my opinion. He was just himself. He was very much so in his own skin.
B
Yeah.
C
And America just liked him. Everyone watching the World cup just were drawn to Him. Yeah. Is just authenticity. I think I've never seen a Viking before. Just haven't in that sense. And love the guy. And then on top of all that, you hear about his style.
B
Yeah.
C
And his Birkin bag collection. A man that can wear a purse. Come on.
B
Yeah.
C
Yeah. And then just to hear all the things that he does outside of sport, too.
B
Yeah. Because I was like.
C
And stuff like that.
B
Yeah. And he's not an. Because there was a video where, you know, when the trainer is getting the jerseys from the team or whatever, they had a lot of players balling up their jerseys. They're walking up. They were just, like, throwing it at the person. He walked up. He had it in his hand. He. He looked the guy in the eyes, handed it to him. They shook hands, and the guy, like, hit him on the back.
C
Yeah.
B
And it looked like it was something that happens frequently. Like, he's polite to them, even though they're doing a job. And to me, we were riding here today, y', all, and our driver used to play and coach pro soccer overseas. And he was talking about Holland and that moment, that is very much a display of his character. And you won. He was like, you want. We're trying to teach the young guys to do things like that. Look people in the eye. No matter how much money you're making, you still treat people like people. So I think the whole premise that he's arrogant is a lie. And I think that guy was a bitch asshole who was hating on him. If. If we be real, raise your hand if he was hating.
C
He was definitely hating. We had a lot of really great acts of kindness and respect, like the Japanese national team.
B
Yeah.
C
They had a really great run. They were actually really exciting to watch, too.
B
Yeah.
C
But every single time they leave their locker room, they clean up as if they were never in there. After they dropped out of the tournament, they made their way over as a team. And also, you know, when you lose those big moments, it's really easy to, like, get into yourself and feel like, I lost the game.
B
Ye.
C
Like, this won't come around for another four years. We put in four years of work to get to this moment. Like, there's a lot you're going through individually.
B
Yeah.
C
They took the time to walk over to their fans and bow to them as a symbol of respect, as, like, thank you for supporting us throughout this journey. And also, sorry that we were defeated in this moment. So it was just really awesome to see, you know, the small acts of gratitude and kindness throughout, like, this sport that we See, as soccer. And also, like, another thing that the World cup taught us is that without our world leaders, we would be able to get along as countries. You have a competitive space. Give it up for that. Right? We have a competitive space and also arguably one of the most popular sports in the world. And if nobody loses their cool over that. And also, this was one of the highest alcohol consumption events ever, like, in the history of North America, one of the highest alcohol consumptions. And we didn't really hear of anything wild happening, any violence happening. So it just shows you that we can go a long way if we just, like, put our world leaders aside and just, like, came together as, like, a world. Like we should.
B
Yeah, I agree.
C
Give it up for world peace, everybody.
B
Yeah, world peace. Okay, y'. All. All right, so now we're going to do a down in a dm, which is going to be some live questions from y' all unsupervised. And we have somebody coming. Okay, Karina coming around with the mic.
C
If you got a question, raise your hand, everybody.
B
So this is also a part where y' all are going to ask questions. We'll answer. But then we're also going to spend some of this time to ask y' all a few things so you can win a card. Okay, so. Oh, yeah. Then you're next. Okay. Hi. Give your name. Give your name. My name is Edie. Hi, Edie. Hi. I love you guys. Oh, we love you.
C
We love you as well.
B
So are you guys going to bring your skit show back from when you
C
used to do this? That's a really good question. We want to. Edie. Yeah, we're working hard to try to make that happen.
B
Okay.
C
Regardless of the sitting, TP show comes back around, we will be in the. The movie industry world.
B
Oh, yes. Congratulations.
C
We're working hard to bring the sit in t. Sh. T. P. Show back.
B
Yeah. Talk to our producer over here. Mop her after the game, not mob her, everybody. Oh, did you make.
C
There's that shirt. That's a very cute shirt. I don't know if the camera, but her shirt says everybody watches the CP Show.
B
I have to bring.
A
You bring it back.
B
I hope you don't get it.
C
Is this your daughter?
A
Yes.
B
And we're here for you, actually.
C
Hi. Very nice to meet you. You know what?
B
My daughter, she. She started watching basketball at the age of two. And at first I thought it was just the phase.
A
Yeah.
B
And what's her name? Her name is Serenity.
C
Serenity.
B
If I'm being completely honest, if it Wasn't for her, I would have never discovered you guys. Oh, wait, what?
C
Serenity, shout out to you, my friend.
B
Serenity. Can we meet y' all after? Are y' all gonna Serenity around?
C
Serenity, how old are you?
A
Yes.
B
How old are you, baby? Four. You're four. Okay. I love your hair. What's her name? Teresa License and Sydney Coulson. Oh, my God. And they play for the W. NBA.
C
Let's go.
B
Okay. Are you a genius? She loves. She loves the wnba.
C
She likes to stop Serenity.
B
She likes Asia Wilson. Yeah, you do strong. Yeah, keep going and going and going. Kelsey. Kelsey Plum. She's like plumber Mitchell.
C
You like Serenity? You like to play basketball? You like to play?
B
You like to play basketball?
A
Yes.
B
Oh, my gosh. Okay, we gotta give her one of the cars. The people that she said give her Kelsey.
C
I have a Kelsey Plum card.
B
She has a Kelsey. Oh, my gosh. Can y' all stay after so we can give her a hug? Please, Please. Okay.
C
Thank you for coming today, Serenity.
A
Thank you so.
C
And thank you for teaching your mom a thing or two. We love that. We love that y'.
B
All. Mind you, y' all can't see, but we only can see Serenity's eyes because she's so little. So the barricade is blocking her. But she's so stinking cute. Okay, we had a question over here, too. Karina, make sure to give us your name. I'm Adira, and I just wanted to know. Hey, Dira. Hey, girl. Oh, wait.
C
Oh, sorry. I just wanted to know, how did you know, like, basketball was the sport for you? Good question.
B
Oh, mine was pretty simple. I just sucked at everything else. And so I was like, well, know what you're good at and stick with it. But really, I just copied what my older siblings were doing. And then once we were getting good, I was like, all right, well, I'm going to keep working at this one. And I didn't like sweating and running that that much, so I was like, I'm not about to do too many sports. I really love napping. I don't know if you listen to the pod, but she thinks I'm narcoleptic.
C
She is.
B
So I can't play too many sports. I do need time to recover.
C
She's a rest.
B
So that's my answer.
C
Not me. I played everything. I literally did everything from pottery to choir to flag football to judo. And my mom was a basketball coach. And I think my mom was really hoping that I liked basketball more, but she was like, Just try everything, sweetie. But how do you feel about climate control sports? And I'm like, cool. I ended up growing to be this big, so it just worked out for me as well.
B
It did work. Do you. Do you play basketball? I play for a week, then quit. Hey, well, at least we know you'll persevere, period. It wasn't for me, Sid. My sister played for four, okay? No, she played for three. It's also important in life to know when to walk away. And it seems like you know that.
C
Yeah, we wouldn't have. We wouldn't have a few segments of our podcast if gamblers walked away, but instead, they left uncomfortable DMs, so we had to address that.
B
We did, Sid.
C
We do have a side question, though.
B
Adira.
C
Adira.
B
Okay. Nice to meet you. Thank you for your question.
A
Thank you.
C
Adira.
B
Nice to meet you. Oh, we love you.
C
We love you as well.
B
You said there's another question.
C
We have a side question. What's the weirdest sport you ever tried?
B
Oh, I mean, I didn't draw.
C
Oh. I would say fishing for me. I just didn't, like. Like killing an animal. It just made me feel bad.
B
Wait, but can't you. You can throw it in and put them back.
C
You can, but you heard it, like. You see. Oh, you see? If you had a hook through your lip, would you want to just, like, go back in the water?
B
Listen, listen. Life. Let me tell you something. Life is about pain. Life is about being hurt. Listen to me, because it's a message in here. Life is about getting hurt and then finding a way to bounce back. What did I learn from that? Hurt? Who in here has been hurt by something? And you still here, right? So them fish gotta stop all that complaining, to be honest. My God, none of that shit. You might get a little hook in your mouth, but if I take it out and I throw you back, that shit is gonna heal.
C
But there's also a chance that you could get fried in, like, a couple hours. So, like, you just don't know your
B
fate, but you also don't know what your next life could be. You could come back as a human. Who decides not to fish.
C
Do we? Do we have any questions?
B
I mean, just think about it, y'. All. We got any more questions?
C
We got one right here.
B
We got eight minutes, y', all, so we got to leave a little time for us to give y' all some cards. Hey, I'm Rebecca. Oh, that's. Hey, Rebecca.
C
Rebecca.
B
Tp. When are you going to get her down to an lsu? Women's game.
C
We're trying to get her. Honestly, Sid just visited New Orleans for the first time as an adult, like, this year. What'd you say?
B
We can't hear? I said, probably. When they change the coach, then I' ma go, okay. When the coach believes in wearing a mask. When it's Covid, then I'll go, okay,
C
well, there's your answer. I guess I didn't have to answer that one.
B
Okay, well, when Moki retires, I'll contact you.
C
We'll get back to that.
B
Yeah. Who has a question? You got a question? We can't tell. She said. I mean, you know, y' all come in, All Star. We are having a party, like, specifically. And am I invited?
C
We're having a live podcast.
B
We're having a live podcast at Friday,
C
July 24, at the Together House. We are open. Together House.
B
We're opening.
C
We're privately inviting you right now. This is a very private space. We're inviting you to be there.
B
Come.
A
Okay.
C
It is a brunch setting. Just the timing.
B
Yeah, just the timing. It's like 10, 10:45. The show starts at 11.
C
And then we have a Faces of the League skills challenge the following day.
A
Okay.
C
Where we're going to put a bunch of adults through summer camp, essentially.
B
Yeah.
C
For real? Is there. There's.
B
Aren't there prizes for the skills challenge? We can't hear you. Sign up at the Together House website. Okay. And there aren't prizes. The prize is that we're going to give you a hug or something.
C
It's pride. Not like gay pride. Also that, but just self pride. It's definitely gay pride.
B
It's always good.
C
It's gonna be pride.
B
But we're also doing a comedy. A comedy show. Okay, 23rd. Wait. Tell you hall.
C
Tell your hall I need a VIP pass.
B
She's trying to give VIP to everything. I do respect it. I only do vip.
C
I respect.
B
Okay, look, we gotta ask y' all some questions. Thank y' all for the questions. We gotta give these cars away, though. Yeah. Give it up for yourselves. Okay. Somebody wanted Bree Jones. Okay, but you gotta answer a question. So name two teams that TP. No. 3 teams TP played on over the
C
course of her career. Oh, yeah.
B
Okay, two.
C
There's only. There's only. There's Only.
B
But so many.
C
14 teams. And, like, a lot of them are new girl.
B
Missed it. Hey, you need to know one of them. Cause we played together. We got the aces. Give one more. Cause you sound so uncertain Just name
C
some say that you're You're. You gotta. I played on half of them. You got a 50 chance.
B
Okay, so the Mystics, you got two.
C
Yes, the Mystics.
B
One of them doesn't exist anymore. Oh, one of the teams doesn't exist anymore. Seattle's. Well, no, not Seattle.
A
Tulsa.
C
Not Seattle.
B
Oh, you played on Seattle. Tulsa.
A
Tulsa.
B
Tulsa.
C
I was in Tulsa.
B
I was around. You around?
C
Yeah. Rock with the Shock, baby. Rock with the Shock.
B
Back when Marion Jones play for them. Hold up, somebody.
C
All right, for a Asia Wilson special card.
A
Where?
C
Name three teams that Sydney has played on. Here we go.
B
New York, Chicago, Las Vegas. That's right, period. France. What's your name? And we're name twin.
A
Sydney.
B
Huh? We're name twins. My name is Sydney. S, Y, D, N, E, Y, after yours.
C
Y' all almost are birthday twins, too.
B
My birthday is August 7th. Oh, my God. I'm the sixth girl. What the fuck?
C
Who's May 18th? Oh, wait, no, there's somebody. Look. Hey. 18. No, I was just making that up. I was just working on my acting skills.
B
I'm looking hard as hell. I said who? Okay, I got y' all cheer loud for jj. I got a jj.
C
I love jj.
B
Okay, when did we start the unsupervised podcast? You don't have to give the date, but. Oh, my God.
C
Yeah. Okay, give her two, because, girl, I didn't even know the name so much. It's our anniversary. Hug me.
B
Oh, it is. Give her the mic so she can hear. Hear the answer, y'. All. This was July 24th. Everybody wish them a happy anniversary. Oh, we love.
